Received way more robo calls. Might be a great app but as soon as you give them your cell phone to “verify” your number, you will get an increase in robo calls. I received 3-5 more per day with “no caller id” and this rarely happened before I downloaded the app. I would not recommend downloading this app for that reason alone.

This app is in of itself a scam. The app doesn’t tell you who is calling, it just says “screened caller” on everyone incoming call. This makes the point of screening calls useless, if I don’t know who’s calling I don’t care whether it is “screened” or not. I canceled my trial subscription and they somehow charged me $50 for a yearly subscription when I forgot to delete it from my phone after a week.

Performs as advertised. I’m still in the 14-day trial period, but already I notice how “clean” my emails and text messages have become. I’m sold!

Gone. First time using this app I hope it works

Excellent. I was getting so many robocalls and scam calls it was driving me crazy. I love this app. I would recommend to anyone.

I love NomoRobo. I’ve used NomoRobo since 2023 until I had to cancel it because at the time I changed phone carriers it didn’t support Spectrum Mobile. It did but the full features weren’t supported like it was with Verizon. I decided to check today to see if anything changed within the past couple months and it did so I ditched RoboKiller and back to NomoRobo! I love NomoRobo. Ever since I discovered NomoRobo it stops 99% of calls. Once in a while it’ll cancel a call I might be expecting but I always go through the screen call list to see if it’s a call I was expecting but didn’t go through or if a message was left. I also love nomoRobo because it has a list where I can add blocked numbers. Thank you nomorobo for giving Spectrum Mobile customers the full support just like Verizon Wireless! I’m not sure what exactly changed but thank you so much for whatever was done! I always recommend NomoRobo because it really is the best app to screen unwanted calls, another thing is when I look up a number it also lists the name of the caller or business.

An irritating bug.. When I ask the app to block a number, the app allows the number to ring, even if it is spam.

Do not recommend. I have had nothing but problems from this app since I first downloaded it. It blocks people in my contacts list and misses spam callers but my biggest issue is I have missed SO MANY voicemails because they don’t come to my iPhone anymore and don’t show up in the app. I deleted the app and STILL CANT GET MY VOICEMAILS. Super frustrating

Stick to the basic version. This version integrates voicemail and other “features” into the app that just are not necessary. The basic version is cheaper, just works, and lets me control voicemail via native iOS. Better experience.

Value. Just downloaded- NomoMax better be outstanding for the increased cost

Scam. I downloaded this app and forgot about it. A couple of hours later I received a large number of calls from similar zip codes. I’ve never had that many calls come in at the same time and the only change was this app. This app makes it look like they are blocking numbers but they’re also having those numbers call you. It’s a scam.

Great app, needs multi esim support.. I hardly ever review apps but felt compelled to write one for Nomorobo. It works, I really love the call screening feature for non-spam numbers it has where the virtual agent will let me know who is calling and place the caller on hold until I accept / reject call. I was a bit skeptical at first about the call forwarding setup but after trying it for a couple of weeks I cannot recommend it enough. No robó calls have been allowed through and no important non-spam numbers have been blocked due to the call screening feature! The only app suggestion I have as a multi-esim user is I would love the app to support its features on more than one line. As a Canadian ex pat I have both a Canadian and US number and cannot take full advantage of this on both lines. This is the only reason I did not give the app a perfect score. For single-line users this app should work like a charm.

Literally my most hard working app. I typically don’t leave reviews for apps but I have to commend it! I’ve tried so many other robo-caller apps and I’ve had issues such as whether the app was too aggressive (also blocked calls from my loved ones) or the app allowed spam callers (which defeats the purpose of a robo caller blocker app). This app is on top of it! It keeps track up to the second which phone numbers are spoof-callers. I probably get 30-50 spam calls. I’m a student and there’s no need for all those calls. The app does a great job not to bug me. I’m glad I paid for a years subscription. Literally works super hard!

Overpriced and data risk.. If you would have stated the pricing on your product page I wouldn’t have even bothered to download it. I simply wanted an app that would block known spam and robo calls. This app scans all contacts and reads voicemails. You should be paying users for such private information instead of charging $50 per year. I deleted the app without starting the trial, so hopefully my risk was minimized…

Does not black scam texts on iOS. I got this service for one reason only. To block the numerous scam text messages asking to donate to a government representative. Sick and tired of it and this service does not block those messages at all. How can they say they block spam texts and it does not block them at all. I will not be renewing this service and I will tell my friends and family to pass on this service.

Nomorobo. The only problem I have with this app I got to uninstall the when every it can't Update then I have to turn my phone off Back on before I reinstall the Nomorobo on my phone again so could you guys please get in touch with Apple so you guys can fix this issue, please thank you enjoy your day. Deleted the app and cancelled subscription. I deleted the app from my phone and cancelled the subscription from renewing, but I can’t seem to get Nomorobo off my phone! It still screens calls. I am trying to change my greeting back to Custom and I am unable to do so. Only get this app if you want it on your phone forever.

Eh. It’s okay.. Had the 2 week free trial thing and it blocked maybe 4 or 5 calls. The thing is, I always have had “send unknown callers to voicemail” on anyways. (or whatever that setting is called) so instead of getting 1 notification that a call was blocked, I get 2. Which is silly. I guess the biggest benefit is the call screening since I was able to see what the callers were saying. But that’s it. The SMS blocker did literally nothing. Lol. I’ve received plenty of spam texts in the time that my free trial was active and none of them were blocked or even filtered.

Cancelled yet it is still screening blocking calls. I tried for the 14 day trial subscription, and to be honest I did not like this because it was blocking everything. So I canceled within that 14 days yet Nomo Robo is still screening my calls and blocking them what’s worse they blocked a number for a potential job interview and this makes things worse. It seems like I’m being held hostage because I do not want this plan yet. I can’t get out of it.

Doesn’t Work!!!. I did the trial of this app because I have been a victim of fraud and identity theft. I used it for 1 day and I continually received spam messages and voicemail. In one instance, when my iphone was on do not disturb, I received a spamcall with a voicemail during an important business meeting. I was so embarrassed! I gave it a day to show me. This was what it was advertised. It’s not. I switched to a different application. Does not work as advertised.

Amazing concept, but the subscription bug!. Love love love the idea and the concept. I need this, I get SO many calls from spoofed numbers all day and it’s such a waste of time just to decline the calls and send them to voicemail in the first place. The only issue—I first downloaded the other Nomorobo app before I saw on Scammer Payback that there was a “max” version with a discounted family and friends plan. I want myself, my parents, and my fiancé protected so I went for that through their “payback” link! But I had already downloaded the regular app & signed up for that free trial (1.99/month). For some reason, I got stuck in a loop trying to get past the subscription signup page on Nomo Max. I closed out the app, reopened it, deleted and redownloaded multiple times, but couldn’t get past the subscription page. It just keeps saying I already have a subscription but won’t take me past the page. So we ended up signing up on my fiancé’s account instead, but I thought the app developers should know in case anyone else is experiencing this issue! If they have an email to send screenshots to, I’m happy to do so!!

Best app ever. This app is really great at blocking spam calls/texts. They have great customer service. All around 10/10 product.

Personal call screener. I had an issue with the original installation but their tech support had it resolved in short order. Since then my phone has never been so quiet. If it wasn’t for the numerous red blocked calls I would think my service was dead. I especially like the call screening. I have allowed a few calls but the overall majority are robo and scam calls which I then report and block. I love the option to block and hang up. Nomorobo is my personal call screener who never takes a day off.

Works a little too good. I loved the regular Nomorobo, so this has to be better right? Not really. I use this for my business phone due to all of the spam SBA, Federal blah blah, website, Google scams etc but it also blocks non-spam customers. Unfortunately it has silenced and blocked a few of my incoming customer calls and while I have caught them due to the notifications, sometimes it is too late and my customer has moved on costing me revenue. Call reporting is also not as easy with this version. I am going back to the regular version.

Works!. It's pretty expensive for your annual subscription, but this product flat out works. Do you want spam calls to stop? this completely eliminates them.

Took my money and ran. Less than a month into my annual subscription for $50 they stop supporting my carrier. That means that I can’t use the service that I just paid for an entire year for in less than 30 days. No money back no nothing. I feel like I got scammed by the people who are supposed to help stop people from calling me with scams.

Updated comment. I previously wrote a comment with only a 2- star rating because the app stopped working as soon as the trial ended, even though it had turned into a paid app. I wasn’t getting a response from support but that turned out to be a problem on my end not receiving responses. The problem turned out to be a need to uninstall and reinstall the app and it’s been working great ever since. Great app and it completely stops spam calls.

Not working. I downloaded the application in order to try it after hearing so many others saying that it worked great, and after doing so, I launch the app and immediately it gave me an error saying that my carrier was not supported (I use spectrum mobile). Well that surely killed all the excitement I had before I downloaded it.

General. The Nomorobo Max is much improved over the original Nomorobo App.

Why a I paying for this?. Been using Nomo Max for a month now and from what I can tell all it does for me is blocking all the calls from people that are not in my contact list. Well iOS can do that already so I am really not sure what this does better. I actually missed some important call because of this app. And for scam they keep getting logs over and over even if I report them as scam calls they keep showing up as « Not Reported Yet » what’s the point of taking the time to report them in details. Starting to question if this is not just another scam.

This app modified my contacts without permission. This app didn’t allow a FAVORITED CONTACT in my phone to go through. Not only that, when I added the contact to the “allow” list, it modified the contact card, changed the person’s picture in my contacts list, and added like 15 other numbers to the contact card. Fix your crap, developers. Never using this terrible app ever again. Beware of giving it permissions.

Not well thought out…. For a premium app, this should do what it says across the board. Block calls. Simple. Except if you’re using an iPhone and have an iPad and MacBook. Then you’ll have a silenced call on your phone with your tablet and laptop blasting spam calls like normal. Nomorobo should consider that it’s 2023 and calls go through other Apple devices by default these days. Consider engineering iPad and macOS apps that work comprehensively across the ecosystem and take continuity calls into account. This app is effectively useless and the sad part is no one at this company actually cares to change it.

Just don’t. After I figured out that NoMoRobo was intercepting calls in my contacts and didn’t stop this activity when I tried to pause it, I tried to cancel. Cancelling subscription and then deleting app does NOT keep the app from interfering with phone/text communications. They’ve hijacked my voicemail and I Still haven’t figured out how to get rid of it entirely. More like a virus than an app…

Bug in the system. I have noticed if I decline a call from my Apple Watch the caller will not hear the default voice message. It is nothing but silence. If I decline the call on my phone the will hear the default voice message.

Just got this app….. I had the other one for three dollars a month and it seems like this one for $15 a month does the same thing or even less. I’m in a meeting and I see all these numbers being blocked ~ I don’t care if sent to voicemail or over a cliff but for $15 a month I should not see that. If it’s not in my contacts, you guys should take care of it, and my mistaken?

Max is my new best friend!. Nomorobo Max is completely magical! I no longer get stewpid calls all day long. Max grabs then usually before my call phone even rings at all. I then get a brief audio and transcription of the callers feeble attempt to waste my time and scam me, so that I know that call was bogus. When a legit call gets blocked and they leave enough identifying info to let me know as much, I can often pick up the call while they’re still waiting or easily tap on their number and call them right back (and then quickly add them to my contacts). Max is well worth the subscription cost to avoid spam calls and texts!

Great app. This app is awesome. Thanks to Scammer Payback for recommending it. Works like a charm. I’m sure there’s a lot of passed scammers out there. I’ve thought about how I could block them from calling me and low and behold works like a champ. It also helps contribute to Scammer Paybacks mission to help protect innocent people from being scammed by Scammers from mostly India, lol. Thanks guys. Best solution to robo callers. Former nomorobo user who was debating not renewing because it didn’t live up to the promises of not interrupting me due to constant 10 second silenced voicemails. As a prepaid user without voicemail to text support I’d waste time having to listen to them. Nomorobo max solves it, by having a screening system and visual voicemail provided. Now they don’t even show up unless they listen to my recording. In addition after encountering a bug with changing from monthly to yearly their support within one day emailed me multiple times and pushed a live update to fix it. This is the best quality of life subscription service available. And because it’s paid and not ad supported, you know they are working to keep their customers rather than sell their data or spam them with other ads. Get the max app rather than basic if your carrier supports it. It’s far better.

Where have you been all my life. Since I installed which was maybe like 3 hours ago , I’ve already had like 20-30 unknown analyzed then blocked numbers . I love it because my greeting is a computer greeting just like them . On top of that , it’s feels good seeing they try to contact me with a different number right after and the same thing happens . In addition, spam messages are thrown to the side as well and I have 140 of those in this short time . It’s like I found my significant other half 😁😂GREAT APP keeping the subscription

Doesn’t fully uninstall. If you think you will ever want to uninstall this product. Don’t use it. I uninstalled exactly as their unclear directions indicated and yet the software still shows up for some calls that I receive. As with most Apps, it is also nearly impossible to talk to a person to resolve the issue.

Developer sorted my sign up issue works perfect. Have not received any spam calls :)

Freedom. I was plagued with robo calls . Sometimes 50 calls a day. I had loss the use of my phone. Everything went to voicemail so as not to deal with scammers. Saw you on Scammer Payback and so far no calls. Now I’m a happy camper. Thanks guys Karen

LIKE A VIRUS. BUYER BEWARE! NOT USER FRIENDLY! I Can’t get it out of my phone it’s like having a very bad virus! I’ve spent hours trying to figure out how to use the application and how to GET IT OUT OF MY PHONE! Ive been trying for months to get it out of my phone and my money back. I paid for a year they make it very hard for you especially when you’re a busy person to stop it and remove it from your phone and give you a refund. Then another month goes by and you find you still have it. It’s like a scam itself Every call says “screened caller” you don’t know who it is. All my messages are gone texts are gone as well. When you think your texting that one person multiple if not ALL the numbers get the same message from you like a group text how embarrassing that can be! Furthermore, I’ve lost a lot of jobs and future jobs over this app! I’ve had multiple people tell me it was strange and then it was like the line went dead while the app is trying to call me to see if I want to except the new caller or not. I want a full refund you thieves!!

Deceptive advertising insert. App works great, huge huge fan of the original nomorobo. I signed up and set up this app, kept the generic voicemail message after listening to it to make sure it was just like my regular generic voicemail message. I got my first unknown call and discovered there’s a second message that callers get, one with a robot voice that advertises nomorobo before asking for the callers name and why they called. Customer support said there’s no way to change that message. There’s no indication *at all* during the app setup that there’s this second message that advertises nomorobo to unknown callers. I get plenty of legit unknown calls, it’s so sketchy that the app is set up to advertise nomorobo to all of them and I get to pay for the privilege. Might not be an issue if you don’t get legit unknown callers regularly but wow did I dodge a bullet finding that out with a misdial from an airline baggage claim office and not on a work call. Customer support was totally unapologetic and not concerned at all that this came off as incredibly deceptive and that customers might not want to slap big yellow nomorobo sticker on all their unknown incoming calls. Ridiculous. This is my first review on the app store and it is shameful that it has to be to call out this behavior.

Great when it works, but…. The app continually crashes every few days and now won’t even update even after six (6) attempts to delete, clean reboot of iPhone and reload app….nothing, just a message “Oops, we got an error…”.

Scammed by supposed anti scammers! Takes your money and then says it doesn’t work. So they happily took my one year subscription but a few weeks in suddenly it says carrier not supported. So I’m out $100! This is a scam!

Not In Canada?. Went to the trouble of downloading (saw on Scammer Payback”) only to find only American carriers. 🙄. I thought the App Store only showed what is available in your country.

Fake practices. I signed up for the trial and immediately started receiving more fake spam calls than ever- up to 20 a day.x Yes they were being blocked, but before i signed up, i was only getting maybe 5 per day. They were sending me more calls in order to get me to sign up after the trial. And all of your calls get forwarded through their server, so to cancel, you cant just delete the app, you have to go through a few additional steps first to get your phone back to the default settings. As soon as I cancelled, then all of new the fake spam calls stopped immediately. This app is useless. Your better off Just going to optout.com

Disappointing. This app was disappointing, blocked spam calls inconsistently, and never blocked even the most basic sms spam. Save your money.

Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty I am free at last!. From the day I put my number on the national, no call registry, I have been inundated with Robo cars. The same number would call seven or eight times in a day. And that’s just that one number. As always, the phone numbers are spoofed and appear to be local calls. I was extremely hesitant to consider paying $80 a year for an app that may kind of, sort of work; but after trying it for just a week, I proclaim like Martin Luther King did “ Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, I am free at last!” The app is truly exceptional in my view. As I understand it, all calls are forwarded through Nomo Robo’s servers and first filtered out by known bad numbers. If it’s a real caller, it will either send the call to voicemail, or if it can truly verify that it is an authenticated, business or person, it will ring through, and you can decide whether to answer it or not since it’s prescreened for you and the colors message is transcribed so you can more accurately decide whether to answer or send to voicemail. Here is the best part as far as I’m concerned. Once a call is received, and either sent to voicemail or screened or answered, I can choose from that time forward to allow the call all the time, block the call and send it to voicemail, or block the call and hang up. So, even if the telemarketers and Robo calls get through, you can flag them, so you will never deal with them again! Thank you, Nomorobo! You now have a customer FOR LIFE!

Garbage.. Doesn’t show who calling. Caller ID? Need to give them all your contacts, wonder what they do with that free marketing list. ? The app is glitchy. They don’t take feedback and integrate it into the app. If you use a third party app to make calls they still flag you as spam and risk and don’t pass through caller ID inbound. So nobody else know I’m calling them either. The voicemail is garbage and laggy may have wiat until they finish transcribing your voicemail so they call read it and harvest it. Don’t let your healthcare company leave a message or you may start seeing life insurance commercials all day. Honestly I’m happy to sell my sole to marketing if it just works and make life easier. In this case $50.00 for more work is not a deal. They should provide refunds and or prorated ones when the app stops working and you need to disable it or reinstall it. Fool me once.

Downgraded to the basic version. Way too aggressive and not very configurable. I don’t like that it takes over storing my voicemail (a choice I should be able to make) and puts callers through a screening that I also can’t configure or adjust. Can I have my $79.99 back?

Says it works on AT&T, but doesn't. First screen after opening: Unsupported Carrier Sorry! At this time, AT&T doesn't support Nomorobo Max. UPDATE: I repeat, it does not work on AT&T, despite the developer's comment below.

Tried to scam you right away. It told me 1.99 a month or $19.99 a year and as soon as I downloaded it, that doubled and had no way to choose the $19.99 option other than to let the 14 day trial lapse, get charged the $4.99 option, then change it? This is not how you do business to stop scammers by being a scumbucket scammer is it? You disgust me

High Security Risk. You can control all of my incoming calls and forward it to yourself, That’s the highest security risk, that way you can transfer millions of dollars from peoples bank with confirming their identity. This app should be illegal

Blocked critical calls. I first found out about the app from the YouTube Channel and purchased the family plan. I connected both of my parents to my app and was so excited to have them also protected. A couple of weeks go by and my Mom is calling me to delete it because all of their doctor offices couldn't leave a message or text. I don't need them to be more stressed so I removed it. If there was an option for the phone to notify groups, such as healthcare, banking or insurance companies, it would be an improvement. Thanks for listening.
