Worthless remote. I use my cell phones hotspot to run my Roku TV which it runs it perfectly. I purchased the “Roku remote” for $20 that downloads to your phone and I go to turn the power on to my Roku tv and it says I need toConnect to Wi-Fi . I have hotspot on my phone that works for three or four devices at the same time but I can’t run the remote . ridiculous.

Great app. Awesome to have on your phone am constantly missing place remote or taking to use on other devices but I always have my phone.

Ads Ads Ads. So many ads I counted every 5 buttons there’s an ad the rewind hardly works and since it doesn’t work you have to manually scroll back which takes forever because the absurd amount of ads half of the actions that the remote is supposed to preform are pay walled just download the one by roku it’s easier

Best App Ever!. I absolutely love this Roku tv remote. It’s awesome and so easy to use. My mom gets mad because I can operate the tv from my phone so she can’t tirn the volume down on her own. She has to ask me. I love it! 😂🫶🏾

Doesn’t work.. I have a Roku tv with a lost remote. The tv has never been used before. I plugged the tv in and it wants to be set up. I downloaded the app to use the remote to set up the tv, but it won’t work unless your tv is already set up. I don’t know what to do now. How can I get my tv on my Wi-Fi if the remote app won’t work on it????

Doesn’t even work. My daughter lost our last Roku remote. I tried downloading the Roku remote and paid $20 just for it to do absolutely nothing. Read everything on the website to troubleshoot. No success. Don’t waste the money.

Very very useful and convenient. Very good for if you loose your remote instead of ordering a new stick and hdmi setup this is a quick easy fix and it works great practically like the remote itself on your phone and maybe you’ve gotten more used to this then the actual remote itself which it’s very useful for

Ease In Use, No Glitches. I needed a remote immediately and there’s so much ease in using this remote. I like it a lot. Too lazy to buy another one so that it can get lost by my 2 year old.

No voice button on remote. There is no voice button on the Roku remote control, presumably to force people to download the app and buy a subscription. Now I can’t find the voice control button in the app even after paying the subscription fee.

Nothing but an ad machine. Just downloaded the app to use with my Roku set top box. Every screen I choose has a either a pop up ad or asking me to upgrade to premium service for $$$. It might as well be a pay app instead of free download. Needless to say I just deleted it.

Ridiculous!. I own the Roku sound bar. When We moved my children lost the remote so only way to use volume is this app . So to use volume control I have to pay 3.99 a week absolutely disgusting. Will not be buy Roku products after this !!!!!!

Don’t get this. If you are like me you are getting this because you forgot your remote. Well I’m order to use this your Roku must first be connected. So let’s say you brought your Roku on vacation and forgot your remote. Without a remote you cant put your Roku on the internet because you need the remote to click through the settings. And you can’t use this remote unless your Roku is connected to said internet!! No reason to purchase this what’s so ever!!

Remote. The remote I downloaded was better than the one that came with the roku

Lost my tv remote. This is even better than the original remote! Lifesaver!

Four star. It’s not really that good because there’s no turn up volume. I don’t know there’s no turn up volume no turn down there’s only mute on there, so that’s why I give it a four star. Anyways, I love it.

Great app. The reason I think this app is very nice to have is because if you lost your remote or it broke you can just use this app when your playing your phone at night so you can easily switch through shows and watch tv.

To many advertisements can’t use remote. There were so many advertisements I could not use the remote. After 30 minutes of trying to enter my password for different things I said screw it. This app is terrible I only need the remote for a couple days until my daughter brings mine back. She accidentally moved with it. I would give it zero stars if I could.

Needs improvement. Most of the buttons do not work and there is continuous advertisement every second. Makes it almost impossible to use the app for more than 5 seconds.

Feed back for Ruku Remote. Best remote I ever used. It’s truly amazing that I barely use my tv remote because it’s constantly getting lost lol. This app gives me no problems at all whatsoever. I definitely highly recommend to use this ruku remote app.

Trash. Question.. if one can not turn their tv on because their remote is lost. Then how are they expected to turn it on so that this app can connect to it?.. I’m using a Roku, one of several that don’t have manual on and off buttons. A remote is needed. And since this app only works for tvs with manual buttons on it, I’ll just have to go buy a new Roku remote. Might want to add to y’all’s description that this app only works if ur tv is already on. Would’ve saved time and bad reviews.

Beware Fraud from Roku Remote App. Never worked. Cancelled immediately (within a half hour) while supposedly under a free trial but they charged me anyways. Now I have to dispute with PayPal. No way to contact them except through a feedback form. Major hassle for an app that doesn’t even work.

This app is a Scam. This app simply does not work reliably. You only download it because the original remote that ships with the TV breaks. To add insult to injury you download this app, you get charged a subscription and then it doesn’t work. This is the definition of a scam. Don’t download it. For those that have, perhaps we should start a class action lawsuit.

ROKU IS TRASH. It’s not enough that my remote control isn’t working after only 2 years — but now after downloading the Roku remote app it barely works. YES my phone is connected the internet… YES my tv is on and connected to the internet and it still doesn’t work. AMAZING!!. Lost remote, but found this one, and it’s even better than the one I lost. And even when I found the other remote, I still use this one!

Review. The reason I gave it a 3 star is because every time I use it about 20 seconds after, I get adds and no other app I’ve had does I don’t understand but it gets the job done when needs but the ads are too much

Roku remote. I give this a 4 Star rating instead of 5 because it does not have regular turn up turn down button for volume however this App is very nice when it comes to losing your phone and you still get your free trial before to try it out saying that I was very pleased with the service of the gentle buttons coming straight from my phone even though it uses up more power than just having the TV on you also get it from your phone or even if you have on your tablet or your computer streaming online. Love this service☺️

Interruptions. I understand this generates revenue but keeps allowing advertising multiple times before you really decide on what to watch. I have bought a few Roku T.V’s the remotes fail so use the app what is worse flooding the app with advertising or keep buying remotes 🤐

Not a good app. This app don’t work , I have asked for my money back and I haven’t received it . I was supposed to have a free three day trial period . The cost for my services. I gave this a 4 out of 5 star rating because I'm hopeful it will enhance my TV connection. Every time I open the app, I have to wait to locate my TV for connection, and it takes quite a while to load and connect.

Contact us doesn’t work. I downloaded the app to use but then found the actual controller. Didn't even get to connect the app to the television and i forgot to unsubscribe being busy with three kids. Cancelled it day of charge. Not able to contact company to see if it will cancel the payment.

Why so many adds. This app is without a doubt the worst I have ever experienced when it comes to adds. Good luck trying to click more than five buttons before an ad comes up, because you wont. Fix this right now.

0 Stars Actually. 0 stars. Unfortunately I had to rate it one star because there was a minimum. Apparently there is a Roku app which you can get totally for free and you don’t have to get the 3 day free trial. I am currently trying to get out of the 3 day free trial but the only option they have for contacting is email. I have no idea when they will get back to me and I am really worried about having to pay for an app I only intended to use temporarily. When I pressed, “Cancel Subscription” it said I had none but I know I clicked on 3 day free trial.

Pointless app. I can’t change wifi settings on my Roku device to match my wireless device so therefore this app is useless and I thought it was going to be helpful bc I didn’t have Roku remote with me. If I had the remote why would I bother ahead of time using this app? Wasted my time and got my hopes up and the contact us option is not letting me click it and get helpful suggestions alternatives. I don’t have Roku remote I’m not near store to buy one and it’s not Roku tv it’s Roku express device. So now I can’t use it in another location

It works so well. As soon as I downloaded this app it took me right to the remote and I watched Netflix and listened t Spotify! I highly recommend this app

Awful app for my VISIO tv. First day volume didn’t work. Now won’t turn tv on, won’t go to the Home Screen and won’t let me switch from bedroom tv to living room tv. I’ve emailed them with no response. Just my experience.

No power button action. The power button will not turn the tv on. It only works after I manually turn the tv on. That’s super annoying.
