Crashes often on Mac iOS. Running on Big Sur iOS 11.7.9 and the app freezes and crashes several times. Especially when deleting data to print other options on same labels. Love the bluetooth ability to print with Phomemo Printer, but HATE it CRASHes and FREEZES OFTEN

Alignment. I have been using this program for a few months now, and since the last update, my labels will not self align! So frustrating

Update. Just had an update and now my device isn’t connecting to my phone. Was working perfectly until the update.

Clunky, but works well enough. I’m using this app to print on the MUNBYN RealWriter 129 Bluetooth. Connecting the printer was easy and hassle free. Getting the labels oriented in the app was annoying and cumbersome, but after tweaking each setting of width, height, and orientation of the labels and text, I finally got the text to print in the correct direction. Editing text on the app is not smooth. For example, the keyboard will cover up the label when you’re trying to move the text or image on the label design. There’s also no obvious undo or redo button. Overall the app does what it needs to do, but it’s a bit tedious and finicky. Thankfully it’s a free app, so can’t complain too much, but just set your expectations low.

Worked, now doesn’t. I have used this app on my iPad for the past year. Now it won’t connect to printer. Everything is updated, not sure why it quit.

Worked flawlessly until…. Worked flawlessly until I allowed the app to do a firmware update. Now my labels will NOT print the barcode! Very frustrating!!! ☹️

Affecting IOS file access. Somehow Labelife became the default file that opens pdf and MS Office files….when I click on an excel file Labelife should not launch. Very suspicious!!! May consider deleting this app.

Works with phomemo label maker. It works with phomemo label maker flawlessly. The only thing I'd use now missing is a batch printing option. I have a lot of similar formatted pics to print and now I need to print them 1 by 1. But I'd still give it a 5-star as supporting macOS is already beyond my expectation.

DOES NOT WORK!. This app doesn't work at all. ruining my business at the moment.

Easy to use. The app is easy to use but I upload pdfs to print the label and there doesn’t seem to be a feature to delete all the items at once. I can do that one by one, it’s a pain because I didn’t know that when I started using the printer

Bluetooth Printer. Once you get the hang of how to use this app it’s really great ! Just have some patience !

Update. I had zero issues with it before the update. It will work great for awhile, and then it won’t connect to the printer (Bluetooth) even though it recognizes it.

Not consistent and usually dosn't work right. I bought the printer and downloaded the app. When I returned after creating the first round of labels, the original labels I created won't print right. I called in, and got a nice man, who really couldn't help because the company is in Asia and no one is there when I called. He replied back and apparenlty the update screwed things up. ugggg

Clunky; only works with certain brand label printers.. Extraordinarily clunky and difficult to understand - doesn't appear to follow any macOS design guidelines. None of the "help" documents are in English - despite being shown as an English language app. And most annoyingly of all, the app appears to work only for Labelife/Phomemo Ponek printers - it's not a generic label making app.

Software does not work. Software inoperability makes this device useless

App constantly crashes. When creating new labels the app crashes constantly. The only thing that helps is saving the template as I go so i'm not loosing all my work, but not an ideal workspace.

Keeps Crashing, Please Help!. I am only doing one star to get attention of developer, because I’m unable to report the issue any other way! I will correct to 5 after bug is fixed! I love the app, just need this bug fixed ASAP! When I go into “Open PDF” or “My Documents” it crashes, so I can’t import my files to print. I’m able to do a workaround, but it takes so much longer and I have a lot of labels to print on a regular basis.

Simple to use, a little testing to get sideways labels printed correctly. Pretty easy to use, but many pdf labels I receive are rotated sideways by default. This program can account for that, but it’s not all that clear how to manipulate labels the right way, so a little testing and wasting labels is needed. Otherwise great.

Customization upgrades needed. 4 stars because I love the app, but just wish there were more font options or at least the option to upload our own fonts.

Review Update. The app developer heard and this app now has the option to choose between MM and Inches when cropping a label!! Thanks for the improvements!! 😃💜

Not as good as older version.. This update is terrible. A lot of the features like copy and paste were taken away to customize an image. It no longer shows how big you are cropping the image to on the screen. There are just a lot less options and the height and width are all backwards when creating a new label to where I ruined a bunch of labels because it was incorrect.

Quiet and fast. This is a great printer for text and line at, but not so good for photos. It would be nice to have a single printer for all uses.

Crashes, Can't open saved files. Buggy as anything. I want this to work, but this app is terrible. Crashes when you try to open a saved label. Fails to import any files properly, and I have yet to figure out a workaround for that except make 1 label at a time.

Printer Disconnected. Every time I want to print it’s like a 30%chance of it working with no issues. Majority of the time I click print and it says printer disconnected over and over.

Buggy and completely unreliable with my phomemo printer. This app is virtually worthless. I'm using this on my iPhone 15 Pro Max and the PM-249-BT bluetooth printer. To print to this printer using only bluetooth you must use this app. If you use this app it is 80% of the time going to connect, then disconnect, then reconnect, then disconnect from the printer without ever actually printing anything. Other times it will print a shipping label maybe 1.5 to 2 minutes after you hit the print command in the app. the app interface is terrible as well. I hate this app and will be returning the phomemo printer since it is virtually worthless for bluetooth printing since it requires the use of this mostly useless app.

Fix the app startup issue. with the new update, now app runs out of memory (it takes 60 GB memory) and forces quit. Please fix this annoying issue with the support update.

Buggy. every time i try to type text on the label it starts to give me error sounds. it also sometimes doesnt let the text appear. also it will ranomly close and open again deleting everything i did when im trying to type in the label... they really need to fix this. do not buy their printers until they fix this. ill update the review when they do.

Will not print shipping labels in order AT ALL!! WORTHLESS. As stated above this shipping label printer will not print the shipping labels in order. The order the shipping labels print out are different than what you’ll see on your iPad, computer, phone or device. Already have tried reaching out to the company to see if they could fix this issue and as they’ve wasted four weeks of my time they have still yet to fix this issue, I provided videos, as well as countless evidence of this issue. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND LOOKING ELSEWHERE FOR A SHIPPING LABEL PRINTER!!! I wouldn’t even use this thing as a paperweight, it’s useless.

Love my thermal printer. I can’t believe I didn’t switch to thermal printing sooner. This was such a game changer and I love my printer. Great customer service when I needed help.

Works good. Great machine. Just really fragile. Don’t drop it or it’s over. I had to buy a new one.

My full honest review. Cons: have to download apps, only prints in black and white, basic yet hard to use, doesn’t print smoothly, lags, smudges, doesn’t print straight, looked up so many videos and nothing helped me. Pros: the color of the actual machine is nice, sticker is very sticky. This is one of the worst printers I have ever bought. Please save your money and go buy one of the cheaper ones that actually gets the job done. I am returning this immediately!!!

Does not work. The app is not working on my Mac or my phone. It no longer will connect and wont update. This printer is now useless to me.

Ok. But needs some features.. This app is just ok. Basic. VERY basic. I bought the printer that uses this app. And printer works fine. However, this app needs COPY, PASTE, UNDO AND REDO options. As well as a way to snap the image to center both vertically and horizontally. Additionally, there is no way to adjust the print up, down or side to side. Even Phomemo’s smaller printer BT110 has these options in it’s software. I don’t understand why a smaller, less expensive perimeter has more capable app software than this printer that is more than twice the cost. I am going to have to return this printer, based on the lack of these necessary features in the app software. If they were there, I would definitely keep this printer. Because the printer itself is quite good.

What happened?!!!. Everything was going great and then suddenly I got an update and now my labels aren't printing correctly and won't advance like they should.

Worked quite well until I got my new phone. I’ve been using this app to print mailing labels for my small (very small) business and it worked well. But now that I have my iPhone 15 pro max - it does not print in the proper format. I have uninstalled and installed again - still doesn’t format properly. When I print using the app on my old iPad, it formats properly. Please look at updating the app!!

Good product but. With every IOS update the printing protocol changes. Now it prints the label and doesn’t stop at the next one but in the middle of the next label. Having to refeed the next label after each printing. Then it will automatically print the label again. Fix this

After new update not working. Was happy but new update wont allow me to print from any of the clip art or templates in the app!

Hate the recent changes. Recent changes are garbage and there is no longer an ability to set the text darker. Terrible product. Avoid.

Bluetooth connection is too difficult. I ordered an M110. I was able to connect the Labelife application to the printer via Bluetooth on my Macbook Air. I printed many labels. The next day, the Bluetooth connection no longer worked. I ordered a replacement M110 printer and I am not able to connect to the printer at all.

New update made app unusable. The latest update basically broke it. It is 100% unusable now. It just hangs and you have to force quit it. I rebooted my mac, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and nothing will fix it. No matter what you try to do, the app freezes shortly after you open it. Also, the ability to print via bluetooth only works *technically*, in that it does in fact print. But it prints the wrong direction (effectively cropping it) and zoomed in and nothing like the preview, so I have to always manually plug in to my printer.

Good for shipping labels. Says it can use continuous label tape or paper (like receipt paper), but no way to load with the app. Would be the best if I could print both labels and receipts. Also, needs a few features like UNDO, Rotate, copy, paste.

Update RUINED the app. I use this for my small business and before a recent update it was definitely not the best app, but it was manageable. Now, its essentially worthless and I am going to have to buy a different printer. Since the update, the app consistantly blurs whatever I am printing, no matter what settings I choose. I know it is the app not my printer because the problem started right after the update and the images are blurry before I even print them. Please restore the old version or fix this!!!!

Version 1.24.0 - You Broke It. After installing the latest update, when printing to the D520 from my iPhone, it no longer skips to the next label and begins printing in the gap between labels. I’ve tried everything. The only way I can print now is through my laptop.

Pretty good. needs a little tweak. Good app, Does what it needs to do. Would like to be able to edit from my documents and print without having to keep resaving as a new file.

Unfortunately for something so cruel and my first review. Asking to look into my private photos and won’t let me go back into my regular printing, that in itself is illegal of your privacy even if I have nothing to hide I have family members that I have just lost that is there that is very painful and fresh not 2 months I’m about to send the printer also back to Amazon

So easy to setup and use. What I like the most is you don't require to setup an account to use the app! I was able to print a return label within a minute of downloading the app. Incredibly easy to use.

This app doesn't show any o the element. This app doesn't show any opf the elements on the label canvas when they are selected and it's not clear how you are supposed to use your imported data

Needs work. Last update has made this product useless for my situation, it’s nice that they’ve finally allowed you to save your labels but you can no longer rotate things around on the label making it obsolete. Will have to purchase a Zebra printer now.

DO NOT UPDATE!. Recently updated to version 3, and now app doesn't work at all. The app crashes and I can't even use my printer, rendering it useless. I'm upset and frustrated, because I this affects my business. I will try and see if I can download a previous version. Honestly, this gives me scammy vibes. After this experience, I would never recommend or purchase any Labelife programs or products ever again!

Update causing printer to keep disconnecting/reconnecting. I've printed 1,000 labels and this has never happened once. I update to the newest version on 3/5/2023 and my printer keeps disconnecting and reconnecting as I'm typing into text fields. It seems like some sort of key combination I'm using (possibly with the shift key) might be causing it but I can't figure it out.

Errors upon errors. Get a different printer

It was OK but now not useable. It was never the best app but now it just doesn't work all together, making my printer completely useless. SO frurustrating!

Non functional. The software is beyond buggy. Edits don't save. Printss are in random directions. My label maker is basically a paperweight now.

Said they wouldn’t replace my cord unless I gave them a 5 star review. Update: 1/7/2025- I sent them a screenshot of the order number I had my mother track down on her Amazon account, then Phomemo customer service said they would apply to send me a new charger cord- IF I gave them a 5 star review, and send them a screenshot as evidence. Which feels like bribery and lying to future customers of this tragic excuse of a company Original: I have been using this printer faithfully for over a year, with ZERO issues, and I have recommended Phomemo since purchase. When I moved and reconnected my printer, and it continues to disconnect from the app, and still Run paper through smoothly— after uninstalling and reinstalling the app several times, I called customer service. “Joe” at customer service continued to say it’s not the cord it came with (it literally is, it’s worked this whole time, I label every cord with an indicator of which device it belongs to in my home) Joe proceeded to indicate that potentially I purchased an “after market power cord” like many other people have JOE proceeded to tell me it has to be a different cord and that I must just be using the wrong one, im sure that is the case for many users who are not as particular about organization and ensuring all things stay together. not possible it was ordered by my mother off of my Amazon wishlist for Christmas of 2023. I opened the box brand new and have continued to use the cord with no problems. The issue is clearly that the cord itself no longer works and instead of offering a replacement or suggesting it… I tried another cord I had per the instruction of my customer service representative Joe, this cord belongs to my UV nail lamp. I told Joe the input and output data on the back of the power cord, and he said “this doesn’t belong to that charger” which, of course it doesn’t I told you I have a power cord with similar input/output Hz— this interaction left my a little speechless, because he had just recommended I try this other power cord that doesn’t belong to the product ? He proceeded to offer little to no help. Nor is there an option I can locate on your website to purchase a replacement power cord. I am deeply disappointed in the telephone customer service your company has, and terribly concerned the employees have the listening comprehension less than that of a grapefruit… I completely understand, and fully agree with 2-3 star rating the app, and company has after this singular customer service experience.

Cannot press add image. New update made the add image button in app now working

BT doesn’t work. Would not connect with iPhone 14 pro. It recognized the printer from the app but would not connect no matter how many times I tried. Returning the printer

Absolutely Useless on a Mac !. Crashes consistanly after ten or fifteen keystrokes!!! It is HORRIBLE to try and use!!! A gargantuan waste of time !! Their customer service is CLUELESS !!

Working as of 6/24/24. Update 6/24/24 - printer works fine and doesn’t disconnect mid print. Disconnects printer mid printing AGAIN, wasting way too many labels. Worked fine before 1.17.3 update. Unable to use, please fix and update as of 3/17/24 the most recent update. Thanks Review as of 3/18/24

Error not supported. I have been using this printer for about a year and now it says my iPad is not supported through Bluetooth… so frustrating

Removed option to import multiple pdfs. Everything was great until the recent update removed the option to import multiple PDFs at once. NOW I HAVE TO UPLOAD 50 DOCS ONE BY ONE!!!!! Each import involves MULTIPLE clicks.
