G missed the X for me- download files into oblivion browser. I think many of the nice feature considerations for the "gamer" demograaafic seemed pretty swell until you realize that none of them are plausibly useful for anyone who is more than a simple conversationalist gamer. This browser gives us all of the familiar operational operatisms and then because gamers don't have time to touch the mobile functions on screen of their devices - blessed are those whove likely kindled some dexterity in one hand to accept the challenge of being profient landing on the proper part of the UI your villianous thumb is covering. Thumfinalboss began his disgruntled existence simply looking for a place where he could put down things he spent time loading - after long toiling escapdes of searching and locating content ...he still is made to lose in the end, because like all villians... they spend their whole lives with one little ignorant flaw. the suffering of ones own intelligence. Onesinability to see what’s critically obvious to most others. I say all that to say, please add a place to view downloads. I’ll update this to 5 stars. kthx

Extremely good. Get app. To anyone who wishes to use a better browser, I highly recommend this one. Not only is it fast, it fits different devices, so if you have a really slow internet you can flip a switch and make your browser run so much better. The GX corner is a really cool detail, the customization of opera is also really nice. The GX cleaner has saved me over 3gigs of ram on my computer, which as a streamer is extremely helpful. So all in all, this app is worth the money and…(wait, what? Oh my god, it’s free) no it’s free, so why are you still reading? Go get the app, it’s super polished and looks great. So yeah, just go buy the app, it’s no hassle and if you’re reading this than you clearly have nothing better to do.

Well Designed & Feature Rich. I have used this browser on and off since almost the very first day it was launched. I have returned to it as my default browser three times and am here to stay. You can see the team’s passion for gaming and their job as GX is feature rich without ever forgetting the privacy aspect is always #1 important over any other functionality…equal w performance. Kudos for the free VPN, built in crypto wallet, and built in apps for music & messaging. I hope it runs just as good as it did in the past and the focus on gaming hasn’t been made second fiddle in trying to please every user. Great job so far!!!

Best browser for any OS. Hands down the best.. Ease of use, customization, it’s quicker than both Safari and Chrome apps/browsers, available plug-ins, games, news, music, etc all neatly and stylishly available on your home page… it’s dope. Now there have been a few minor issues/inconveniences. I’ve had difficulty connecting my account across all my devices. I’m still working on it but nbd. As of now you’re still unable to open multiple independent windows. Again nbd. There are a few other small things that aren’t even remotely worth mentioning. Thants it!

Awesome, some ideas for features. its really cool because i use opera gx on my pc and im excited for it on mobile but there are some things id like, its still in early access so a lot of these features will probably come soon. i wish that you can customize the theme and background, because the current background for the home screen and settings is a little hard to look at, also, the google app on mobile aphas a feature where it has recommended articles and posts based in your search history, like links to articles or like links to reddit

It’s good but. The GX app is amazing. Love the look but when you shake your phone it changes the color of the background, great idea but at times I’ll open it and it will be a different color so then I have to change it. Another great thing is the my flow where you can link your computer to your phone to send things. One thing about it is one device can only be connected to one computer. So you can’t connect your iPad to that computer also if your phone is connected to it. It also means you cant connect your laptop, computer, and other devices all together and send things from one to another

Best Safari Alternative, but…. I do really like the app. I think it preforms the best, especially compared to chrome or Firefox. The My Flow synchronization with my PC is very nice and super convenient. I do have one issue with the app that is 100% a dealbreaker which is a shame. There is no in-app password saver and it doesn’t play super well with the iPhone default password saver. I have to manually go into passwords to have it auto fill. And it would be more acceptable if my passwords from my computer would be saved with my flow and vice versa. The fact that it isn’t there is very annoying. The simple fix would be to add a setting where we can sign into our opera account that is on our PC, and sync passwords like you can between computers and profiles. Everything else about the app is really great. Unfortunately I have no way to ensure I won’t lose my passwords for something without manually going into my iPhone settings and typing it out. On safari, chrome, edge, or Firefox all have a very good account sync option, or play well with iPhones settings. Add a fix to this and I’ll update my review to 5 stars.

Excellent except for frequently getting “stuck” loading. I’ve used this as my primary browser for quite some time and it’s a really handy app with some great features. There’s just one glaring issue it shares with the desktop version, and that is how frequently it seems to bottleneck and just not load or open pages. It seems to happen like clockwork after you Google or visit several different (or the same) sites while surfing the web, at some point around 4-5 websites it just doesn’t open the next web page you tried to go to. The loading progress bar moves a quarter of an inch and it just doesn’t go past that no matter how long you wait, and refreshing doesn’t help: You have to close out and go back in, and often it doesn’t pick up where you left off but rather starts at the step before, which just tells me that it got itself stuck so early in the process it didn’t even begin to load the next page. I don’t have this issue even with Edge which I use as my lowest bar for testing. Even that’s more reliable than Opera GX which unknowingly has this bottlenecking issue that comes for me no matter what I’m doing on the web (Not even downloading or streaming, often I’m shopping and going through web page after web page on the same site and Opera just consistently gunks up and won’t load the next page).

Amazing app just a few issues. I love opera gx as a browser. But it is a little annoying when I am looking at a page before school and then don’t look at it till later how it opens another tab it ends up creating 100 tabs in 2 weeks. And the other thing that needs to be improved upon is the original control bar how mobile. It feels clunky and not very intuitive. I ended up switching it to the circle button because it feels easier to use. I love how many different options for customization are, and how private mode of you ever need it has a different color. I also love how many different search engines you can use if you don’t like google. I use this browser on all of my devices so being able to pick up what I was doing on my laptop on my phone is amazing. Having crypto mining protection and an ad blocker is amazing! The last thing that could be improved on for console gamers would be to be able to connect your console to your browser so you can see more stuff that relates to you in the console world. My favorite part is the gx corner which tells you about games and good deals on games.

Not Made for getting work done. This app is an absolute nightmare for students. Its inconveniences are endless. The "find my page" feature is particularly useless, failing to highlight or direct you to the specific word or phrase you're searching for, leaving you to manually sift through the entire document. Attempting to highlight text for copying or pasting is equally frustrating, as the app often selects the entire page for no apparent reason. Even after managing to copy and paste, the formatting is a mess, requiring tedious manual deletion of unnecessary spacing. This app has wasted an incredible amount of my time and hindered my ability to work efficiently. Additionally, the app lacks the simple functionality of rearranging tabs, which is just absurd. Although the desktop version of the app is tolerable, the mobile version is undeniably terrible.

Review on Opera GX from:Mekhi shabazz. This app is like Google but it doesn’t use all of the data on my phone and it doesn’t crash as easily as google Chrome like you can have like 30 tabs open and it doesn’t crash and it can be download it on your computer and phone and tablet and on your xbox don’t Worry about how much it cost’s cause it’s free and you can watch twitch,Spotify and Instagram with Daily news and for kids Roblox all this and more so get opera there’s no reason not to you don’t have to but i Recommend it so try it at opera you wouldn't regret it.

Some infuriating issues ruining a great product. I use GX on my computer and I absolutely love it. I have zero issue, and it works like a dream there. On my iPad, though, I have found it to be infuriating. It has almost all the great features of Opera GX, but I don’t get any of my cool effects (I can live without). What really gets me is the tabs. I cannot move them around to reorganize them, the literal second I tab away to another tab on the same browser, it kinda… shuts the previous tab down, so it reloads and I lose my place every time, which, as someone trying to use this for homework as opposed to Chrome, is massively infuriating when trying to organize information. Last but not least, the part that gets me the most is the fact that it mislabels my tabs. Tab management is next to impossible because I’ll click on a tab for an article and then it loads and it turns out it was my google keeps tab. I click on the tab labeled google keeps and it loads the page that has my assignment criteria. It drives me up the wall, to the point where I am considering returning to chrome or safari just so I don’t burn so much of my mental energy on trying to handle this app. Again, love GX on my desktop, but the tab issues are going to make me snap my iPad in half.

Best Browser By Far. I honestly have never submitted a review on any platform, but I felt compelled to for Opera GX. I utilize this browser for browsing on both mobile and PC and couldn't be more satisfied. The most advantageous features consist of the ad/pop-up blocker, complimentary built-in VPN, and a variety of optimization options; it is definitely the top browser for gaming or leisure activities like streaming services. In addition, the choices for customization appear to be limitless. You can alter any aspect to match your preferences, including but not limited to background music, wallpapers, sounds triggered by each key pressed while typing, and even sounds that activate when switching or closing/opening tabs. Moreover, these sounds can vary from pleasant sounds to audio derived from different elements of pop culture. I'm simply another person who found Opera through a random PewDiePie video; yet, if you take the time to read this review fully, I strongly suggest Opera to you, just as I do for everyone I engage with.

Good, but one update kinda made it worse. Now don’t get me wrong, this is an amazing browser app. Built in adblock and the customizability, it’s great. However, I’ve recently found something that I didn’t care for. When selecting an image as a wallpaper, there is now a screen that displays that you have to select a portait and landscape mode wallpaper at the same time. So all of the images I had fit to be portrait mode wallpapers are now really weird. I personally never use browsers in landscape especially on my phone, so this feature is really annoying. If there was a way to make the selections separate from each other or maybe toggle the two wallpapers to just be one that would be neat. Still, great browser nonetheless!

Still as great as I remember.. I remember using this browser four or five years ago during middle school. I was quite impressed by the icons on the homepage, as I used those programs regularly. Although today they are not the same icons as they were, there seem to be a lot more features with the browser itself. The My Flow feature of the browser is actually quite useful to me, as I often transfer files between my computer and my phone for later use, or to share with a team member for a project. The usage limiters are also still there as I remember them, and that is a great feature for people who don't have that much processing power. The overall user interface is sleek and minimal, with nice, dark undertones, smooth, solid colors, and foreboding ambiance and sounds. The smoothness and immersion of the interaction you get from this browser based on this user design is, in my eyes, unparalleled. It offers a great miniplayer when you're working in other tabs, with the ability to move along the video and whatnot. The settings aren't that intuitive UI-wise, but they do offer a lot, and the modding section is well-featured. The sidebar itself is quite useful to me for certain things, too, such as checking resource usage. Overall, this is a very solid web browser for those who like more features, a solid, consistent design, and to customize how much in resources the browser eats. Keep doing what you're doing.

Just effortlessly perfect!. Every time I go to my bothers house, the main PC always has Opera GX, and I decided to get it for my PC. It is the best browser I could possibly pick, and the mobile version, no exception! I think though, the mobile Opera should have a little more to it, so both the mobile and PC version have similar features. And there should be a feature for making grouped tabs. But in the end, DON’T stop doing what you’re doing, you’ve gone too far to stop, this browser has GREAT potential; both mobile and PC! There are some other features I would like, but I don’t want to pressure these amazing devs with my ridiculous features fantasy. Apple should let you have up to 10 star, thats what I would rate it

My problems with the app. The navigation on mobile is weird. For some reason they decided not to have a bookmarking feature and they make so many new tabs for every time you search. It is a hassle to use, they are missing many features to be a good mobile search engine, and they beg me to rate them and make it my default search engine when I open the app. The only good thing they have is the My Flow feature to send messages and links between your phone and your computer. Other than that you can’t even log into your Opera account to share search history between them or transfer bookmarks (a feature they haven’t even implemented even though the mobile version has been out for years). Overall Opera for mobile is a horrible search engine.

Almost Perfect. I love this browser. And I would start using it as my main browser too, if it wasn’t for any flaw. This does not have a sync option to keep everything synced between desktop computers and mobile devices. To me it’s an important feature and the only reason this has not become my default browser. It’s also the reason I’m rating this four stars. I haven’t used the normal opera browser but I have heard that you can sync everything using that browser with an opera account. If that is the case I don’t understand why opera gx wouldn’t have that option too. I really hope syncing becomes a feature at some point so I can transition fully to this browser.

No bookmark/general sync with PC and Mobile. It’s baffling that there’s no computer to mobile book mark sync, what’s even more baffling is that there’s /no bookmarks/ period for mobile. For a browser thats trying to be at the front of the modern race it’s incredible that they act like people with a computer don’t have a phone they use to browse the internet as well. So for now I’ll probably be sticking to any other browser until a mobile and computer browser sync is implemented. And even beyond that the mobile version of this browser is quite lacking in user friendliness in general going as far as not even letting you move around tabs or see more at once in expanded tab view. So even without book marks you can’t even begin to try to organize your mobile tabs at all. Hope a change is made very soon as the computer version is quite nice. But with no sync is kills it’s chances at being that useful long term without the convenience

Awesome Gaming Browser, Bad Redirecting On Some Websites. I have been using this browser for a while on my laptop, before I switched to normal opera for the cleaner look, and I switched from safari to opera on my iPad, but normal opera felt a little lazy and cheap on iPad, so I got opera GX, which worked, but when I was on google shopping trying to find good deals on the m1 MacBook Air so I could upgrade from my 2020 intel MacBook Air, I found out that on google shopping, whenever I clicked on an item to go to the shopping website that it’s on, it wouldn’t redirect me to the website, and it would say that there was an error, but this isn’t a huge problem

Great Browser. I’ve used several browsers, including Safari, FireFox, Duck Duck Go, and many others, yet none of them have matched the customizability of this browser. This is so much better, especially with the Fast Action Button, which makes adding new tabs, going back, searching, and other important commands within a finger’s reach. I enjoy the customizable appearance, making it look cooler than Safari and other browsers. I love the private options and the ability to see when games are coming out and filter based on platform. Its so nice. My opinion? Great browser. Great look. Great private options. Its the best browser here.

Genuine surprise. I dont really make reviews, only for apps I truly think deserve the notoriety. But this search engine genuinely surprised me with how much more user friendly? I think is the right term to use it is than others. It has so much appreciated quality of life and is also really nice to look at in general. This is a top tier search engine and one I loved since day one. Even tells you releases for games on the home page without having to search and I even found some titles I’m interested in that I never even knew was coming out, It hasent even had any bugs or glitches and even noticed some sites run better through Opera, I don’t regret switching it to my main search engine

I know you can be better..💔. I love using opera gx on my computer, I find the variety of customization and freedom you have and on top of that built in ad blockers and also vpn as well? And not to forget just the overall experience using the browser, but sad to report you don’t get that same experience on the mobile version. I’ve been using opera gx app for quite awhile now and in the beginning it was great still had some solid features as its computer version, and the same features as well. But the more and more I started using it the more glitches and difficulties I found myself getting into. For example for the last two months I every time I tried open the app, nothing pops up? I try deleting, downloading it again but that doesn’t help either. And it’s always weird when I try to open links when I’m in email. Since I have it as my default browser it just never opens up the link just constantly at the loading screen. I just wish those things didn’t happen or that they would get fixed. Sad to say that I’m no longer satisfied using this browser anymore.

No bookmarks???. A friend introduced me to Opera GX for PC a couple months ago. I’m very resistant to change, but gave it a try, and surprisingly liked it so much I made it my default browser on my laptop. Then immediately downloaded the app for my phone to make a full switch! However, much to my dismay, the Opera GX app for iOS doesn’t have a bookmarks feature. Like…what??? Bookmarks are a standard browser feature, and a pretty vital aspect of surfing the web and returning to favorite sites and links. Not having the ability to bookmark a page is ridiculous and (for me at least) crippling. The only reason I keep Opera GX on my phone at all is for the My Flow feature which is pretty handy for tossing files and links back and forth between my phone and laptop. But overall…until the Opera GX app gives me a way to use bookmarks, this browser is worthless.

Love the browser but needs bug fixes. I have been using Opera GX on my phone as my main browser for about 3-4 months now (PC for 2 years) . It’s been nice so far for the mobile app however just today I deleted it because I encountered a huge bug that forced me to keep opening new tabs and even if i closed the app it would open itself back up and continue the process. I tried to use the close all tabs button but it didn’t work. The bug happened when I was in the iTunes App Store -> profile -> clicked on the email that is being used. It then transferred me to Opera GX and started the bug. I also encountered another bug when you have the setting to keep all tabs after closing app on it would either take awhile to open the app or it just would never open. Please fix these bugs would love to keep using Opera but bugs are too much.

Best Multi-Platform Browser. If you find yourself between your phone and computer often enough, whether with school, work, etc. Opera allows simple cross platform support. Surprising to see the built in emphasis on privacy with tracker and ad blocking within the browser itself, customizable with the extensions of chrome and more. I feel as though I sound like an advertisement, but having the level of customization options and being able to stay in sync, no matter the platform, all for free is simply unprecedented. Opera is truly something free to count on after spending a boat load of money on the tech itself these days. You really gotta give it a shot, once everything’s transferred it’s hard to go back.

Quality of life. Very well created browser. Best thing in my opinion is the ad blocker because I strongly dislike ads. However, you’re also able to customize with a wide variety of options. Not to mention the free vpn it gives while in private browsing, I’m not 100% sure if there’s a vpn enabled normally. I have opera on my phone as well as my pc both being set as the default browser. I actually have deleted my normal browsers off both devices since there’s nothing safari, explorer, or chrome can do that opera can’t. Strongly recommend.

HONEST REVIEW. Pros: First these aren't all but just major key points! Opera GX is great mobile and on computer! Highly recommend this everyone I know setting up there brand new pc! Friends and family with phones, IPads, whatever I also make sure they know about this app! Using this instead of any other web browser allows you to fully customize and put your own style into something you use constantly. Bookmarking, pinning tabs, changing light and dark screen modes, etc... almost anything Google and Edge can do Opera GX will to. Opera GX allows for you to add themes and with the said themes come music, keyboard sounds, live themes not limited to only still images, etc.... needless to say download it and give it a shot if you use a web browser on the daily! Cons: Not all but the only one i'm going to state, Opera GX can't authenticate some account information through the app and you need to use Google or Edge.

Good, but I feel that synced devices could be better.. I’m rating 4 stars because I feel like the UI could resemble more of the PC app. And linked accounts will all have similar settings, like the theme, the mods, saved bookmarks, such as. Especially book marks. I feel that the primary device should be able to paste its bookmarks to every linked device when it is updated (When they reopen the app after the update) so I can keep my bookmarks from my pc to my phone in case I want to make it easier. Also another thing, make a search history feature so all of the devices have a shared search history and each device will individually have their own searches if that’s not a whole lot to ask for. And if it makes it easier, only one device can use opera GX at once. The other apps will have to wait until opera GX is closed or inactive. And VPNS would be nice. TLDR: sync better please and also share bookmarks and search history. Also make VPNs more available.

Fantastic app, but even more mystical browser. I mean I like the app and all that, but my only disappointment is the lack of features present on the PC Browser. I hope the devs can understand, but like I feel like what I want is to have mods on the mobile like hearing my keyboard produce the Typewriter sound effects like it does on the browser or like when I used the medieval mod pack they typing would come out like I am writing with a feather and some ink on some parchment, and other stuff like that. I understand it comes to limitations on iOS, but it would be cool if I could get a few more themes though. Great app though I also recommend the standard Opera as it has that AI that you can interact with.

Good app. I really like that the flow feature. It is really useful because I can continue what I was doing on my computer on the phone conveniently. It is also nice that you can connect multiple computers so I can connect my personal computer and school computer. Other than that it had all the other essential features of a browser and a couple extra features that are also useful. The only thing that I think should be added is connecting the opera account. It will be nice for settings and passwords to sync over and maybe even devices.

Please make these changes. Opera gx is a good browser, the ad-blocking is great. If you made the following changes, I would change my rating to 5 stars. Please include an options to disable animations, like in Windows 11. The half-second animation I have to sit through every time I switch tabs is infuriating. Please add the ability to rearrange tabs. I like to research things, move on, and come back to them later. Sometimes during research, I like to add new tabs to my group. With the current functionality, making a new tab puts it all the way at the bottom with no way to move it closer to other related tabs. You could even implement official tab groups. If you made these changes, Opera gx would be the best mobile browser.

I Don’t Know About this one…🙄. Just joking I love OperaGx , it has some amazing features and the customization is top tier and pretty in depth, it’s easy to use and has some of the best discreet Adblock software built in that I barely ever deal with ads or pop ups, if any at all and without mentioning that I give all my praise to whoever came up with the mods nothing beats complete control of changes, its really quite refreshing to use OperaGx instead of safari which has been the only browser I’ve used since 2017, it was worth that lil extra time learning a new browsers layout and I’m glad to be one of its many user’s. Better Than Ads or Apps!. Got Opera for its built in ad blocking or related options. Instead of getting massive ads in the apps. Was using over firefox since it blocks ublock origins on apple phones etc. My laptop stopped letting opera work on it without reason. So was hoping to dl that app instead of this opera. Really like the color scheme option for text etc. Biggest issues are trying to click reload for pages. Often it clicks the thing to type address or hard to explain until using. Also when first opens, the new tab gets clicked. Its cool that can get screen on its side too. Besides asking to rate the app, there are not many annoying issues. Will always keep this browser for what it can block. As really limited on my phone use abilities. Not sure if the flow security issues are a worry for phones. Supposedly fixed issue with hackers able to use it to run stuff etc.

Really great! Just needs small improvements!. Love this browser and have it on desktop as well as mobile. Super nice to have “My Flow” bc i have an iphone but run a Windows 10 desktop, so when i just need to send things to myself for work things i think of while I’m not directly at my desktop is really convenient! However… every time i try to find My Flow on mobile i need to search for it and it feels like they hide it bc you need to scroll to find it. Desktop is great bc it has a little icon in side toolbar! Mobile not so much :( truly only criticism so far after maybe 6 months of using it as default browser on desktop and loved it so much i got it on mobile as soon as it was available. it’s a well made piece of software that does all the things I need it to! Everything can always be tweaked, which is what’s nice about modern updates (things i very much look forward to in the future!)

Great, but there’s a really annoying glitch.. I’ve been using this browser for a while now on iPad and mac, and I love it! But there’s a few problems with the iPad version. First of all, you can’t move tabs to different spots. You also can’t pin tabs like the max version. This may seem small, but these features are useful and I really would like to have them. Also, recently I’ve been experiencing a glitch where, for example, I’ll be using an ai generator in 2 tabs, and I’ll have yt in another for music by using the MiniPlayer iPad feature, and then my music will stop playing, and then I’ll check on it and my page reloaded, not super annoying off the bat, just have to open the tab again, but then I’ll go back to my ai page, and it will reset because it reloaded. This is really annoying because I have had good images be lost forever because of this glitch. If it’s not a glitch, and it’s a feature to save energy, make it optional please. My last complaint is that all pages default to the desktop site, and it being default that way is not optional. Otherwise, really great and have to recommend!

Great browser! Just missing something.. This is a great browser, it’s easy to navigate and it has the latest news involving games right on the main screen. To me, it’s good enough to convert to on desktop, but not mobile just yet. The mobile version is missing one big key feature, and that’s bookmarks and bookmark syncing with desktop. It could be that I just missed it, so if it’s there is not in the menu area where it’d make most sense to have it. It’s a big downside if you do stuff like read manga/webnovels too as it doesn’t have a “reading list” like chrome to keep that stuff separate. I got around that on desktop by just making a new bookmark folder and labeling it “reading list” and putting everything in that, but it’s really inconvenient to not be able to bookmark wherever you leave off on desktop and continue on mobile. I think you can technically do that with “my flow” but that just adds something new and more complicated for those types of tasks, at least in my opinion. If bookmarks and synced bookmarks with desktop is added, then I’ll switch. Otherwise, I’ll stay with chrome.

Please read this creators. So, I know that this review is probably not even going to get looked at, but if it does, please listen. This is my first day using this and I love it already. I don’t have a pc yet but this browser is great when looking for free games that I will download on my soon to be pc. One problem, again, this is my first day using this so I don’t know if this is a problem every where, but whenever I close opera gx, all of my tabs get removed. If this is a problem that you can fix, I would really appreciate it, but if it’s just a problem on my side, sorry for wasting your time. Worst app ever don’t get if you value your sanity. For starters this app is nothing special it is a basic browser that you can’t even sign. Since you can’t sign in you don’t get some key features including the ability to save ANYTHING, so this actually makes it worse then a basic browser. Since most browsers have an actual sign in they don’t have to rely on a feature that is so buggy it doesn’t even work, I am meaning my flow, the worst feature. I had accidentally deleted this browser with my flow attached to my computer and now there is no hope for me ever connecting any devices to my computer ever again, I sat and messed with stuff for at least 2 hours to try to get my flow working but to no prevail and since there is no way to disconnect my phone to my computer, unless from the phone, which, P.S. when you delete opera gx from your phone there is no way of getting it back so that that data is gone forever which means you can’t disconnect my flow, which breaks it on the computer. Also there is a reset my flow button but it doesn’t do anything because is doesn’t do anything to the connections. This app would be a lot better if there even was just a sing in where you can link different devices together that way it also gives an opportunity to save and store data.

This browser is slept on 👀. On one hand I want to put more people onto how good the new GX is but on the other hand I think it’s better without being a hacking target. Opera has come a looooong way from the beginning years, always was a great browser (since early 2000s) but now I prefer it over most of the others. The flow addition is one of the best features I’ve seen implemented in a while, let alone the built in plugins. It’s the kind of gem you want to keep to yourself. Ever since chrome became more hypebeast than ever the exploits make me wary, but the plug-in integration gives it all the trade offs.

A few quality of life issues that make it unusable. To keep this short; I enjoy Opera and its all I use on desktop, however on mobile it acts somewhat buggy. On websites that have not been setup to display properly on phones, I am stuck horizontally scrolling and *trying* to zoom out to read text only for the browser to lock my zoom distance. What caused me to write this review was I was trying to reach a Patent document and instead of any of the text wrapping it just extended off the page and I couldnt even zoom out to give it the opportunity to wrap itself. Theres a few other things I dislike that are going to make me go back to Safari on my phone but those are mostly personal preference things.

Good program. I don’t usually give ratings and when I do I won’t really go into detail about what’s so good or not good about whatever I’m reviewing but this app is amazing I’ve got it installed on my computer and my phone the built in blocks and vpn is very useful and the amount of customization you can do to the Home Screen and the entirety of the app is amazing being able to import photos from you’re own camera roll is a cool quality to so far I haven’t found nothing wrong with the app itself all positive highly recommend downloading it’ll definitely take some time to get used to it maybe frustrating for some people at first but once you get the hang of it it’ll be a Breeze.

Love Opera GX Browser. Have been using this browser on pc and mobile ever since they first came out. They are by far the best browser to use and an added kicker with the GX browser is its a gaming centered browser which has its own set of other perks to offer as a web browser there’s even offline games you can play on it if you don’t have any internet connection. They also allow you to customize your browser to the way you want it the have light and dark mode as well as custom wallpapers and even special color themes to go along. Just go ahead and download it you won’t regret it I promise

Strongly recommend. This is a great search engine and I strongly recommend it to gamers. However idk if this is a Siri thing or OperaGX thing but when I asked Siri to look for something on the web it opened Opera and started opting tab after tab after tab and I couldn’t make it stop because if I closed the app it would open back up again. I couldn’t make it go to sleep by holding the sleep button either. I had to hold the sleep and home button to turn it off. When I opened OperaGX again it started to do make more tabs again and I ended up having to uninstall it so, yea that happened.

A great app, but a few problems. I love this app, but it has a few problems. It’s a little complex for me. I would recommend it, but it’s a little complex. I know that there is a sense that makes it more simple but I don’t have a account on Opera GX I must say it’s a very great app. I recommended to PC players but I don’t recommend it to iPhone users or iPad users I love this app, but it’s a little too complex. I will learn how to use it but it’s in general. I do recommend using it. It’s a wonderful app and you can change the logo. You can add your custom background. It’s a great app. I love the app. I just wish they made it a bit easier to use.

It’s getting there.. For the most part I love this browser but there are a couple quality of life changes that need to happen. First, when I click into the address bar the entire text should be highlighted by default. The number of times I tap and start typing only to realize I’m typing additional characters into the middle of an existing web address is too high. Second, when a new tab is created as the result of clicking a link or long-pressing on a link to force a new tab then the page that tab was opened to should be the earliest history state for that tab. I shouldn’t be able to open a new tab right to a page and still be able to hit the back button and be taken to the empty tab page. I get tripped up sometimes thinking I’m in the wrong tab because of this. The back button should be greyed out if I am looking at the first page that was loaded when the tab was formed. I should only be able to go “back” to the empty tab page if that tab was opened as a new empty tab. There are some additional annoyances here and there but those are the main gripes for now that are causing me to drop it down one star. Otherwise I love this app! Oh, and also the release notes need to be actual release notes. I hate how many apps just do this “bug fixes & improvements” generic note on every single release. This is the tech-minded consumer browser right? Give me patch notes.

More of a bug report, but it is really good. The bug part is sometimes this might be outdated by the time some people see this but mobile the ad blocker seems to not be working at least on the iPhone 13 the modern is a little difficult, but still possible and well modeling it allows you to customize your backgrounds with custom things to make your own backgrounds you could go for many thing, ranging from the most known anime in the world to the least known micro on planet earth there is enough for you to be satisfied due download it won’t steal your ram

GREAT APP but. I love it, it’s a great app for nerds like me who wanna constantly be updated about recent gaming news. I really just wish there was more to the app honestly. This app give you stores, sales, trailers, updated news, the whole shabang, but I really feel like this app is perfect for PC gamers rather than console gamers. Other than trailers and news, there’s no store support for Nintendo’s e-shop, PS Store, or Xbox store. The app shows upcoming games for each console, I just wish I could like bookmark a game coming up soon, and preorder it on whatever console I want all from the app. PLEASE add store and sales support for us console players. It’d be nice to see every store sale the consoles are doing at the same time as each other so I can look through all of them and determine what to get. It’s a small “eh” thing, but I use the app so much that I’d love to see future support for consoles and other stores! Hey, G4 is also back! Why not add a little G4 page to see what all news they’re talking about? I’ve got a lot of ideas, and this is just a stellar app that I use very frequently. So thanks again guys! I love the app!

Like google but better. This search engine is in every way superior to google, with unending customization to the point that it’s unnecessary Opera GX may not be the right browser for someone who wants something simple, but unlike google it is customizable into anything, like the white screen look better? No problem, done! Don’t want the game news? Turn it off, I cannot stress enough how it is impossible to dislike this browser because the limits of how much you will like it extend to how much you dislike the settings. Sorry for making this sound like an ad read from a YouTuber but I guarantee you will not regret giving Opera GX a try

Best app ever for searching. Great app. Love the browser version on desktop and on IOS. Would love for the ability to transfer bookmarks from Google chrome(IOS and desktop version) or from Opera GX(Desktop version). Would also like to move tabs within app.

Excellent replacement of browser. I was always with Chrome but after discovering Opera GX I have enjoyed online experience a lot more, have had a little bit of trouble setting up some accounts but otherwise a great experience. It does everything it advertises as well.

Reliable. I have been using Opera on desktop for over 2 years now, and when it relesed on mobile i had to download it, didnt expirience any crashes or stutter on my iPhone 11.

Godly. Amazing it saves me time deleting tabs there is game suggestions and they make them cheaper with multiple different deals it’s also a search engine and customise able backgrounds and it comes with an ad blocker what else does this app have to offer

MODS, CUSTOMISABILITY?. The browser is great.. but.. seriously, no mods? It would be very nice if there was a mod option, where I can add background music, sound effects, etc. please think about this! This in my opinion would make the browser PERFECT!

Only two things worse then Chrome. This browser has a lot of better qualities then chrome except for two that I’ve noticed. One of them being how it won’t save private tabs. When you close the app it will not save any private mode tabs that were open which is kind of annoying. The second is that you can’t rearrange your tabs, you can’t set them in a order you want like Chrome which is also quite annoying. But overall everything else is great.

Hrmmm. This apps great and i’ll use it over safari any day… but it just needs a couple teenie meenie things to make it even better.. Plsss let me sync bookmarks & create bookmark folders!! Also grouping tabs and being able to reorder my tabs would be nice!! Other than that, great app!! Just needs a couple updates pls

Broken on iPad. Whenever I search up something on GX, it flashes a lot and went lights out after few seconds. Doesn’t help if I refresh, in fact, after a few refresh, it doesn’t show anything anymore no matter what you do on that tab. Plus, I have seen it display the wrong tab. For example, when a click in to a tab thinking it is tab B, it’s actually tab A. It works on my phone perfectly, just don’t know why it’s so glitchy on my iPad. I’m on the latest version of iPadOS and the app. Love your twitter by the way.

This app holds back the desktop version. I tried opera gx on desktop and loved it, but one thing holds me back. On Chrome I have many bookmarks that I use frequently on both my pc and my phone as they’re synced on my account. This app doesn’t even have bookmarks, let alone a syncing feature. If it did I would switch to Opera gx on my pc and phone right away.

Very nice. The settings in this browser allow me to change basically anything i want about the browser, and not just sticking to the same search engine all the time, it is also customisable for nighttime and very easy to use, well done!

Best web browser to date. It’s the best web browser and if your not a gamer you can go right to opera which is still again pretty good and lovely themes add blocking extra protection and Gx corner is fantastic and I know if your on on a gaming laptop or pc this is a even better experience

Get it just for ‘my flow’. My flow allows you to sync random notes and images across all your devices. I love this browser. It shouldn’t be considered an exclusively gamer browser. Everyone would love this.

Needs Tab Groups. Enjoying everything the app has to offer, however i feel the need for the ability to have multiple tabs within groups to make it easier to have them readily available for different topics i would like to go back to when needed

please add “translate this page”. honestly W browser and their marketing is funny so it connects with the gaming community (their target) who are mostly chronically online trolls. however, it drives me insane not being able to use it for certain things because theres no translate button 🥲 for the love of god stop forcing me to use google i beg you i'm literally on my knees ill eat dirt if i have to istg

Great app but ad blocker does not work. My friend introduced me to the pc browser and I loved it so I got it on my phone. I love all the customisation and the overall sleekness of the browser but I have found that the ad blocker does not work and that is annoying because I have gotten so used to no ads on the pc app that it’s just weird to have ads on the mobile app despite there being a ad blocker. But over all great browser!

Is the ad block disabled remotely?. Hey I don’t know if anyone else noticed this but the ad block feature for stopped working after the new update, even when it says it’s on in the settings. Is this a way for opera to get money by letting certain ads through or not? Other than that this is a great browser and is very user friendly.

Stack view on Opera GX. Once Safari turned into a card view, I googled other options and I’m really happy with Opera GX. It’s quick, has all the features u wld expect from a browser - and most of all has the stack view!!! DON’T CHANGE!

Great. The browser itself is great but and it also has so much customisability, allowing you to change anything to whatever you want. It also comes with great in app functions like its ad blocker. Overall it’s one of the best browsers I have used.

Fix the ad blocker please. Every since the update in March the ad blocker on the mobile version has been broken even if it says the ad blocker is on its not and the same thing happened on the normal opera browser but got fixed after like a week so if possible could you guys please fix the ooera GX mobile ad blocker that would make it perfect

Good but needs more features. It works fine for searching and whatnot but it really needs to be more customisable. You should be able to log in and sync up with your computer, be able to access and modify your speed dial and basically have more of the PC features. Mainly just login and speed dial tho.

Good but could be better. I would like to see more customisability on the app there are some things that I wish would be on the app such a more option for backgrounds and mods just to name a few love the app but if you could do this it would be a definite 5 star ⭐️

Would be 4.5 stars but can’t. Amazing browser engine only problem I’ve ever had is on mobile we’re whenever you try to go into settings after change ping a custom background it crashes the client. Other than that I have no complaints amazing replacement browser with some greatly useful features.

Great but could be better. Not as good as desktop app. The browser isn’t bad but the desktop app is way better. It has a sidebar, bookmarks, a cleaner, and more settings. This version is too simple and needs all the features that the desktop version has (especially the sidebar).

From what I’ve seen,. there’s liturally no reason at all on why you wouldn’t want it. There’s an ad blocker, there’s a really fun no wifi game, there’s a vpn! Maybe I can’t see any bad things because there’s to much good or maybe there’s nothing bad at all. It’s pretty much google but for gamers and much better plus cool custom backgrounds

Moblie is mid or below (2 stars really). Whenever I open it or go to use something it says can’t read database then got to delete app and log in to my other tabs again! Too annoying bruh

A Great Experience. This browser is very good as it has a variety of customisations to the browser and is very helpful. It's not just good for mobile it's good for PC as well you can optimise it for ram usage and CPU usage so I think you should give this a try

Super good, but doesn’t have pc features. The browser is really good, I use it all the time. But what lacks it is that it doesn’t have most things the PC Opera GX browser does, like background music, VPN, custom sounds and backgrounds, ect. If you could add these I would give it a solid 5 stars.

Opera GX mobile and pc browser. I personally really enjoy opera gx, I just found out recently that they had a mobile browser after using the pc browser for months very straight forward usage, very customisable and if you link it to your pc browser it can also pull up tabs from it or vice versa I’d highly recommend if your looking for a sleek and straight forward browser

Opera GX is great. Opera GX is great on mobile but the pc version has more controllability and the stuff is easier to find so the mobile fission is not the best but better than google chrome and other browsing apps.

Unable to import bookmarks. Considering that almost all OperaGX advertisement I’ve seen is about how you can import all your bookmarks from other browsers, the fact that I can’t find anything to do with bookmarks for the app on either my IPad Pro or my iPhone 13 mini is truly shameful and makes it almost unusable. I’ve attempted to google a fix for this but couldn’t find anything online and no easy access to a helpline through the app

Decent browser but needs a few more features. Opera GX is a powerful browser with a reasonable amount of customization with themes and the ability to change the app icon appearance, but I cant help but feel hindered by a few missing features. In the desktop browser version, there is a whole side panel with different add-ons and features, however on this app version there isn't even an area to view Bookmarks. I found myself frustrated that even after setting up Flow and/or signing in, i still couldn't access my bookmarks, and had to resort to opening the bookmarked pages on my desktop and using Flow to send them to my phone. I hope to see this browser continue to improve and grow, but for now I can't use it as my main browser of choice.

Opera keeps crashing every once in a while. Works for a couple months then you can’t use it cause it keeps crashing unless you delete and redownload, i have tabs I’d like to keep open like books and when you have to delete and redownload you gotta redo all your tabs and I wish you’d fix the issue

Good, almost great. Simple, clean, easy to use, and with features few other apps have… but wish it had tab groups to organise open tabs into folders to make it easy to navigate. I prefer having them open to bookmarks so I can see the page.

Better than google. Brilliant, an app with no ads! It even shows when new games are coming out. It even saves your top sites. I recommend this for every mobile gamer. It’s terrific!

It’s there, it says so, but they don’t play when I browse. Desktop mode change. Look, it’s great and all, but it gets annoying having to change from Desktop to Mobile all the time since Desktop mode is always on by default. VPN. The VPN is on the basic Opera browser, why not here like on desktop? A Bookmarks tab - it’s convenient and useful. Finally, a home button. For convenience. At the moment, that’s all there is. You guys are great! I love your promotional content on your socials.

Great browser. It’s even better on a computer, I love the feel of it. It’s also very useful, has many features and customisation. I’ve now connected it on pc and mobile and set it to my default browser on both. Definitely recommend it!

I love the small and big features that it provides E.g. the background and theme options, the ad-blocker, the crypto-miner blocker, the speed that it runs at, the amount of custom options that you can choose from, and the ram limiter is amazing! Good but could be better. Opera gx is a browser made for gamer that automatically inform the user of the most recent news concerning games. It is fast. It has a fonction that allow where you finish on your computer if you use opera gx on it. The biggest and only issue that I have with the mobile app is there are no bookmarks or favorite site which is kind of a big deal if you have 5 or more of those. I personally have at lease 20 (many manga) so i am kind of force to use something else.

LGIO. I downloaded opera a while ago because of Let’s Game It Out. My phones battery has not been degrading as much, it’s faster, and I actually can search stuff quicker. I just wish there was a Lock Screen widget. Goated app.

Yes I’m a actual person. This is actually a really good app. Initially I thought it was just sponsor food. And to be honest I never really cared. I ended up saying “screw it” and downloaded it on my pc. It is now the most only browser I use. I had been waiting for the mobile version, and it does not disappoint

Lacks basic features. I love the desktop version, which is why I downloaded the mobile version so I could have all my bookmarks etc on both devices. However this app lacks such basic features and I can’t even add or view bookmarks on mobile. This app has little to no syncing with the desktop app, only letting you use Flow which is laughably inferior to bookmarks. I’m very disappointed in this app.

Pay to be featured app. The interface is nice but the options are all set up so it’s clear the core motivation is capitalist greed and distraction of people. The search engine options are lacking, like it favours Yahoo, but Yahoo doesn’t actually run it’s own search engine it actually contracted it out to Google many years ago. It doesn’t include Ecosia, probably because they didn’t pay to be included. Would have been better if they actually allowed you to choose other stuff but they went full walled garden with it. That just tells me the decision making is all short term profit pump and dump over long term sustainibility

This is the new bar for web browsing. By far the smoothest experience I’ve had on Mac and iPhone

I love it but it has a problem. I love this site in the fact that it blocks adds on apps which is nice but the only problem is that you can’t use full screen on anything which is annoying. I don’t know why it blocks full screen if it makes it slower or just doesn’t make it work at all but it makes it super hard to watch. Other then that it’s a 10/10 browser. Also nice you don’t have to pay to use it

1st app good enough to review. Every app wants you to share your experience. This is the first one that made me want to. Built in ad blocker is my favourite feature. As long as they keep that working I will be a user and will recommend to my less tech savvy friends.

Not as good as advertised.. So, the mobile version is just flat out worse than the desktop version, and does not have everything that they advertise. Free built-in Vpn? Not on the app. If you are expecting the same quality as the desktop version, you will be disappointed.

This is not how private mode should work. It shouldn’t be saving sites I’ve been to in private mode at all, this means they’re still tracking search history in private mode which goes against the whole point of it

Great mobile port but lacking one feature. As Stated in the title of the review I think this a a great mobile version of the pc browser. I especially enjoy that the mods I use on pc carry over to mobile however, I am a little disappointed that the free vpn available on pc version of the app is missing on mobile. I had found that feature especially useful as the regions provided allowed for some region locked content. I would like for this feature to be added to the mobile app.

Pop ups. I was alright with the app but had been using another similar. It started having pop ups for a site so I tried this one and the settings for opera gx were easy to manage. Except the setting block pop ups for mobile don’t work. You also can’t manage specific websites permissions like you can on a computer. There is just a short area about privacy where you check if you want ads and pop ups or not. The first time it blocked the pop up and I was happy but it just lets them through now. I tried looking it up and it’s been a previous issue.

Great app, missing things tho. The app is great, gives me everything from GX Corner, My Flow works, and it has some nice themes. Though it's still missing a ton of the Desktop GX like Force Dark Mode, more theme customization, Extensions (please add extension support like firefox has), Speed dial Folders, Many of the options In the Settings, and a ton more. Some features wouldn't make sense but there are s ton that would. We also need Widget support, Some “Shortcuts” actions (iOS Application that apps automation, and some form of Google Lens tech. If these all get added, then I think Opera GX Movile can compete against other Mobile Browsers.

Like Safari but with less utility and more paint.. If you like the cuztomizability of Opera Gx regularly, you’ll probably like the app. It’s very easy to “decorate” with fresh coats of paint to make your searching as fun as possible. If you want actual utility though, it’s best to just stick to Safari. Safari isn’t nearly as customizable, but has the far better tool of Tab Groups, which basically makes it easier to sort your searching by separating tabs by groups. You can have one group for regular searches, one for private, one for school/work, one for a game that you like, one for fitness etc. and by sorting tabs like this you’ll have a much easier time sorting why you’ve search to make sure you always have what’s important on you. Opera Gx Mobile’s lack of tab groups basically kills the app for me. It’s such an easy and great tool when utilized that when a search browser doesn’t have it, using said search browser feels like a joke. Overall, 3/10. Opera Gx is good, but not good enough to lack tab groups and still be worthwhile.

Better than safari by far. I’ve been using the browser on my personal computer for about a year now and couldn’t recommend it more. The mobile version isn’t too far of a departure from other browsers general usability. It’s better in every way that chrome or safari though. Adblock we alone with no third party add-ons required is the deal maker for me. Of course there are tons of other features making the transition that much easier.

It’s a good browser app but…. Tl;dr: Good app but doesn’t have bookmark feature I don’t understand the point of being able to connect your PC to your mobile if it’s not gonna save anything other than “my flow” I guess? I use the browser on my PC and it’s been very great and a smooth experience, (there’s some hiccups here and there but I don’t really mind). But I don’t really understand why if I save bookmarks on my PC, it doesn’t save on the mobile app. They give you the option to connect to it and “sync” it up. But there’s no use for it at all. You might as well go back to chrome/Firefox if you really want to have it sync your bookmarks, history, settings, etc etc.

Great alternative browser but could use a bit more. I originally just had the computer browser and was thrilled to see it had a mobile version. I love how customizable it is without needing addons, and I feel like I have a bit more control than Chrome. One thing I really wish the mobile version had was access to my bookmarks. It’d be really nice to have those to pull up on my phone without needing to find them all over again manually.

Best browser ever. I used safari and chrome which are good but very basic. This allows me to connect through the flow function to a windows, mac, and my phone. So easy to use and very customizable which is a very good thing. The background music is unique but such a good touch I’m surprised no one else has done it. This is a very easy to use and the most functional browser maybe even the most functional app I have ever used can’t recommend more.

Better than Safari. If you haven’t tried this amazing browser for iPhone then what are you waiting for?! Syncs with Opera GX when using on MBP meaning I can be browsing pages and when I need to leave my computer I use “My Flow” plug in and it syncs everything I was doing to my Opera GX browser on my phone for a seamless walk-out-still-work action. Also the this browser blocks more pop ups than Safari could ever dream of blocking.

Probably a bug.. I’m on an iPhone 15 pro max on iOS 17.3.1. The app and browser experience is amazing but I think there is a bug when looking at a pdf or general scrolling. Whenever you scroll and hold by accident it jumps you up to the top of the screen. I don’t know why it does this but, it does. It’s kinda annoying when you want to look at a pdf and it’s longer than 5-10 pages and it automatically jumps you all the way to the top. Also this does apply to general scrolling in websites.

Simply amazing. I am in love with this browser I already use it every single day on my pc. & boy was I delighted to find out they have a mobile app! Safari & chrome are terrible after a while on the phone & become really slow & sluggish but opera feels just like it does on my pic. Sleek, smooth, & simple. & I LOVE the feature where you can connect your opera from your pc & all your saved settings/bookmarks etc are all there! 10/10

[BETA REVIEW] Way better than chrome, won’t switch back.. I have used Opera GX on my computer for I believe 7 months or so. So when the news about it coming to mobile came out, I decided against it, but when chrome stopped working for some reason, I switched. Only thing I would like to see added is the force dark pages option, and I would be set. Update: changed to 4 stars because it does not work currently, it opens to a splash screen, then a blurred version of my home screen then crashes.

Good browser with a couple small issues. First, I want to emphasize that the issues I have with this browser are relatively minor. The main thing is the browser can’t seem to remember what page I’m on. For example, if I’m on Facebook and I visit someone’s profile, then back out to my newsfeed, if I exit the app then return, it will be on that person’s profile instead of the newsfeed. The other thing is that every time I open the app a new speed dial tab is opened, instead of putting me back where I left off last. Other than that, it works great!

Glad this is on mobile now.. I use Opera GX on my computer and I’m glad it’s now on mobile. It’s missing a few features from the desktop version, but is still better than anything else out there. I would like to see a sidebar on the iPad version, and I can’t use it on my iPhone 6 running the latest supported iOS 12, but other than that, it’s all pretty good. I just have to wonder how Opera thought it was a good idea to devote their resources to a mobile gaming browser before releasing a Linux version.

We want to keep the most FPS on our games while having a browser open. We want a browser that Uses very little cpu as little amount of stuff as possible. Would love to see EVERY DEAL/COUPON/SALE on video games, pc parts etc.

Great to connect to my pc browser. I use GX on my pc and the app is exactly what I’ve been looking for so I can switch between browsing on my phone to browsing on my pc seamlessly. I love that I can change the whole aesthetic of the app in any way I want. However, there really needs to be either more app icon options or better ones. Most of the ones available now are either really bright or look kind of buggy.

Best browser. I’ve been using Oprea GX on my computer for years recommended it to all my friends and they all loved it. So glad the mobile version of GX came out. It wonderfully customizable and it is so easy to go from my PC to my phone and back with internet searching and anything else with the flow feature, which allows you to send messages, links, images, and videos back and forth with your phone and PC.

Good application one request. Hi I’m a big fan of the new opera, it’s really good but there is one request and that is maybe there could be a download tab, basically it shows you all your downloads like the application on computer, it should also have an option to be able to drag the download files to somewhere. Instead of having to use files and drag it from here to there. Just my opinion! Otherwise I think it’s great, and the shortcut menu is really convenient! Have a good day!

Best Browser. After using this for about 6 months I decided to give it 3 stars. I want to like it more but it’s missing some quality of life features most are accustomed to. First off it’s really great aesthetically and offers a lot of gaming information on the front page. It’s basically Chrome with a better skin so that’s wonderful. While the surface is nice and will draw in most the sync feature between your computer and mobile is lacking. The “Flow” feature is great if you want to continue the page you left off at, however since you cannot sync passwords or payments, you’ll have to enter it all back In. It would work better if you could sign into your opera account on mobile. The front page has the information and looks nice with colors but will begin to feel cluttered after a while. A more streamlined, simpler look would go a long way. It’s a good browser overall but it needs to update some of these simple things to make it great.

Chrome…meh…Opera….oh yea. Used chrome for years and it was pretty good, had a lot to it and was semi customizable. For some reason it would always search through yahoo, then google for a few months, then yahoo. Never found exactly what was causing it even though I went though soo much troubleshooting. Almost as soon as I downloaded opera I knew I was gonna like it more. It just seemed more convenient, especially on PC👌more customs, pretty good built in ad blocker and that window pop out. Perfect!

Beautiful, amazing, need more like this.. Opera GX is an amazing app that honestly kicks chrome out the window, with its ingenuity of sending info to a desktop and a mobile version of the app as instant and easy this app can it’s so nice. As well as it takes less resources of your PC or PHONE than Chrome ever does. And chrome is H U N G R Y. But other than that it makes so many things a lot simpler. It has amazing customization even to the app image itself on your phone! Custom wallpapers for the browser and all! It’s amazing!

App glitches. I really like the app, however when I tried to load a video the app froze then gave me a pop up saying it can’t load data and to reinstall the app. I delete the app to reinstall it and now it’s glitched onto my iPhone, I can’t “delete” it and when I go to redownload it it says “open” instead of install, but it’s not actually on my phone. I can search for the app on my phone and it shows it’s there but when I click on it…nothing. If I can get it off my phone and reinstalled correctly then I’ll change my review but as of right now it’s literally taking space on my phone and is unusable and not possible to get rid of.

Just Amazing. I have Opera on Pc as well and when I saw it was on mobile I just had to get it. It looks incredible and can be customized to your liking, but it also comes with many other customization options other than the way it looks to further enhance your experience. If you’ve been using chrome (or safari????) your missing out on a much more comfortable experience for the low low price of nothing.

I love Opera SO MUCH but…. the mobile apps need an update. On both the Opera and Opera GX mobile browsers, you can save bookmarks but you can’t organize them into folders, which is frustrating. It’d be nice to be able to access your pinboards as well, even though pinboards is just a beta feature. Otherwise, I think the apps are perfect and I love them both! They just need to make the bookmarks/speed dial section easier to organize. I love the ad blocking features and how Opera keeps your information private and secure!

Amazing App - Missed Opportunities. Don’t get me wrong it’s hard to find a browser that is customizable enough for people to enjoy using it. But not to difficult that it’s over whelming. This app is perfect for that. It’s simplistic yet complicated. It works in the background to keep you safe while you search for when that next coffee shop is. One downside to the mobile version in my opinion is there should be an option in setting to auto delete/close tabs when you close the app. Or when you close all tabs atleast take you to the main screen.

Still can’t use vpn on mobile after years of having the app. I’ve had Opera’s desktop and mobile apps for around 2 years now and while my desktop vpn works perfectly fine I still am unable to use the mobile vpn and that was an important feature to me when I decided to download Opera and it is just very annoying to me that it has been two years yet I still am not able to use this feature. Overall a good browser app despite this lack of the vpn feature just very inconvenient in my opinion and not what is advertised.

Best!. This app is the best and secure browser. I’m not a bot this is Fr(for real). It is very secure and has a perfect ad blocking system. It also has build-in games! How better can this be?? Oh and guess what. You can customize your wallpaper and app icon too! you also use a custom tab navigation option! The only downside about this app is that you can’t clear a specific tab history bc I rlly need to hide some personal details that includes my account password. All in all this app is a 5 star! 100% FAVORITE BROWSER. I honestly for the first time in my life I’m actually taking time to write a review for a browser, which means it’s fully loaded, the customizable theme, all around its the best I’ve ever used. I’ve used every browser you can think of, including Tor, Onion, every and all dark web browsers, all of googles, all of Microsoft, bing ETC and I wasn’t satisfied until I downloaded this browser, I even waited 2-3 weeks of using it to fully make up my judgement. For fast, secure, organized and 100% private browser, absolutely no data what so ever.

Everything is great except some features. I’ve been using opera on my pc for abt a year and a half and it is definitely one of the best browsers I’ve ever used. The app is very similar and I would rate it five stars except whenever I hit the back arrow, it doesn’t take me to the page that the tab was last on and instead takes me to the browser page which gets annoying bc then I have to search up what I wanted when there could have been an easier way to get there. Other wise the apps great.

Sudden crashing. Been using Opera GX as my main browser for awhile now, yet suddenly it’s crashing on my iPad with no explanation (as in it doesn’t even open AT ALL sort of crash) This persists even after turning my iPad on and off, so it isn’t a memory issue (it’s an 8th gen) In fact I even checked on my iPhone and it’s still working fine there (and that’s a 6S; that’s the one that one would think would be having issues) I REALLY don’t want to switch browsers because I’ve gotten used to this one, but I will if I have to. It’s also up-to-date and the only thing open, which is how I’m sure it’s not a memory issue. It just won’t open.

Awesome for mobile.. At first i thought it would be like safari or at least similar in a way, but it’s almost the exact opposite, a private browser for mobile was something i’m sure everyone has wanted for a while, as well as the customising features and being able to see games, it’s not as much as pc or anything, but it’s pretty good for mobile, and easy to use, if i could, i would definitely make this the default search engine for people.

Amazing, but can use something to make it cooler. I just barely started using this app today, and I love it, but I feel like it could use a small thing to make it cooler. My suggestion is adding some sort of sound effect, so every time you click a button for a tab or something else, it makes some sort of video game sound effect, so this can make the app be a little bit cooler than it already is. Great app though!!! Will definitely recommend it to my friends.

Best browser ever won’t use anything else I love it. Ever since I accidentally stumbled on this browser I thought it was OK at first you know because I had the original version and then the GX came out the game browser I have it on my computer I have it on my phone I have it on everything I can have a browser on I love the transferability of it I love this features love the fact that it’s a gaming browser and it’s got the gaming features keep up the good work add more stuff and more features in the future please

Greatest browser of all time!!!. Not only can you set how much ram and cpu it uses on your computer so your games never suffer, it’s completely customizable, you can link your phone for effortless transition from browsing on the go to back at home, you can even make lists on your pc/laptop and have them on your phone instantly, I recommend Opera GX to anyone and everyone, gamers or not, it just makes everything easier and more fun

Went from my favorite browser to my most hated. Opera GX was one of my favorite browsers on PC for a while, due to the customization alone. The feature allowing you to see upcoming games was also fantastic. The mobile app was disappointing in comparison, but I still preferred it over my other browsers for a while. HOWEVER it turns out that Opera is based in China and has to turn over all collected data to the CCP, and they DO collect a lot of data. It’s insecure, lacking features, lacking bookmarking, and it’s Adblock capabilities are really bad. Do yourself a favor and use literally any other browser. As flashy as it seems on the surface, it’s a prime example of, “If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.”

Really underrated browser.. In honest opinion, people keep saying theres no bookmark system for the mobile port, even though GX literally has a Favorites, which is a bookmark feature right there. Want to save a site? Favorite, there, its **bookmarked.** Though an actual problem I’m personally coming across is the settings soft locking the browser the moment settings is opened, even though I’ve obviously seen them never respond, if people looking at this review see this, stop saying theres not a bookmark feature, there is one.

Best Gaming Browser. Let me first of all say that the layout is amazing. The search bar is right at the top and there are even games made by the browser devs built for the browser. The amount of customization is great and you can set your own backgrounds or pick one of the presets. Overall this is the best GAMING browser, remember, not your average browser. If you’ve read this far, thanks, and if you haven’t already, download it, please, for my sake.

All in all great app. I feel like this is a 9/10 browser with great features but I do feel like there should be a few more essential features like dark mode for websites a way to lock tabs so you don’t accidentally slide them away or at least a undo button would be great. There’s also a weird ad blocking bug that stops ad blocking when you leave the app for a while and return without closing the application ads will start showing up

Best place to play games mobiley but.... The app is perfect for playing games on the Internet but my biggest problem with this app is that you can’t save .zip files on your phone like Google or Edge apps, which is very disappointing. I hope it gets changed someday because every time I try to save a .zip file it says failed, so how am I supposed to sane my game process without when I can’t save the .zip file. I don’t know how or why but please fix this, i’d give this app a solid 5 out of 5 stars if fixed.

This app is amazing Even tho it is 17+ you can make is kid friendly It has A built in VPN, Ad blocker, and Quick search the customization Is amazing Whether you are mobile or PC it is an amazing app. They also make it so If you use google, chrome or those other apps you can Send all information on the other Browsers to this one with the click of a button it is an amazing app you should definitely get it

VPN was removed + bugs. I love this app for its ad blocker and vpn, but I suddenly realized that it was missing. I’m aware of the laws in Russia removing the vpn, but that should only be for in Russia. On my iPad, I had a VPN option, but now it’s gone? The adblocker doesn’t properly work unless I close the tab and reopen it every few pages I enter, and now my privacy isn’t protected? My app crashes eventually after using it for a few months, and I have to redownload it and load back up all my tabs. It also makes random small crashes which is just annoying. One more star because I’m still using this awful app even though I hate it.😭🙏

Best browser ever. This browser is more than just a regular browser such as google and Edge, It’s for games/gamers although I don’t like to use the phrase “gamer” it suits the browser description, it shows you when all the major and medium title games release, Such as God of War, Destiny 2 Expansions etc. I 100% recommended this browser, it aswell comes with a built in VPN for Laptops/PC and ad blocker and pop up blockers aswell. Overall a 5/5 The best browser I have ever used

Perfect…. This application is exactly what I needed! Thank you so much to the developers please keep up the good work cause this is such an awesome creation!!! But I have one thing you could add is simple but nice for those looking for jobs which would be a catalog section in personal news for jobs local or jobs posted through out different websites based on your liking and make it so IOS is completely compatible to login into opera sync?!?!?

Best application for PC and Smartphones. Take everything good what google chrome/safari is, and then give it steroids. Has great customization options and it’s Home Screen has everything I need or want to read about. The only complaint I have is that you can’t force dark pages like how it is on PC but they probably can’t do that. It does however have an option if I want a page on dark mode if given the option.

Best browser I’ve ever used.. This browser is amazing. With built in add blocking, pop-up blocking, and app icon customization this browser allows you to make it exactly the way you want it. Bot to mention that it shows available deals for almost every gaming platform from steam to ps4 you never need to look it up since its right there. Even if you're not someone who likes to play video-games i would still recommend this browser.

One small nitpick. It’s a great browser that I’ve recommended to several of my friends. I also have the pc version, which has allowed me to notice one small difference between them. I have customized both of them with different wallpapers and text colors, but the mobile version will occasionally just change the text color by itself. Not too major of a concern, but it is really noticeable at night when it goes from my “white wolf” color to a blazing orange or anything bright. Please fix this, and thanks for the great browser.

Great but just a reskin?. I like opera GX on pc but this seems way different, we are stuck with favicon icons for tiles, we can’t even move them unless we use the move to front option but that’s a hassle, also isn’t this just a reskin of opera touch? It needs a lot of work, also where is the vpn? You can add a vpn to it to be for just the browser or full device, I hope it is upgraded, also last thing, the themes are way different, hope it is changed and made better, thanks.

No ads pop up’s, basically Better google in all aspect. First time trying I thought it was just like google. Tried it again after a year and holy it was awesome. It can do what google also can do but with much more option on browsing and gaming. My personal favorites are ad blocks and pop up blocks. I can read online manga without pop ups and annoying tab switching. 5/5 well deserved.
