Ahhh disney. This app is awesome I haven’t had any issues so idk what you guys are talking about maybe ya need to upgrade your phones firmware but overall great app for employees to use.

Kinda useless. Why I need an app when literally for almost every option the app take me to the website outside of the apps. If you need to trade shifts, request a leader call back or pretty much everything you wanna do, the app takes you to the website instead of do everything on the app

Don’t use this.. Don’t use this app. It is more leverage for the Company in your life. If you try to screenshot a confirmation number (say, for an RDO request) on your phone a warning will pop up telling you that’s not permitted and tells you to delete the screenshot. It’s “Company Town” tactics. Stick to the web based version of the Hub if you must use your own device to access the digital presence of the Company.

Worst work app ever. This app is never consistently working. Some days it’s smooth and then the next you’re fighting for your life just to check your schedule or call in late. Honestly if you’re considering working for disney and you have other jobs in mind already just save yourself and go with other jobs you may have lined up. I promise no matter how frustrating this app is it will be the least of the frustrations you’ll have working for the devil.

Great at first. When I first installed the app it worked great! I now can’t get past the log in screen. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times with no luck. Hope that an update soon will fox some of the issues.

Rogue notification. Before the last update a month ago it worked great loved it. But since then it keeps saying I have a notification so I go into the app to see what it is and nothing. So I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled it several times and it still has the notification on it. I hate unread notifications so seeing it there and I can’t do anything about it is frustrating. It still has a notification issue but in schedule view I’ve tried to get on the site differently and still it’s there. Also the leader call back option isn’t working.

Innovative!. this is such a good idea and going to be a great resource for Cast. There is so much opportunity here and I’m excited for all the great things to come! Thank you to all who worked on this!

New phone WARNING. In order to sign into your new phone, you must first sign out of your old phone and erase and refresh it so it doesn’t have any of your old data on or attached to it. After you’ve reset your old phone, wait a few minutes and then you will be able to sign into your new phone. Hope this helps

No longer broken. Thank you for fixing the broken link in this app. I had previously left negative rating that I now, want to change. I brought to your attention that the log in link was not working properly and, I’m blown away how fast and, responsive your team was at addressing and fixed the issue. This is a fantastic app, the app I rely on for a lot of important information. Thank you from the bottom of my heart at restoring my faith in humanity. You all are the best.

Needs ability to export schedule.. App needs the ability to export schedule so it can be imported into user’s calendar app. This should be fairly trivial using .ics standards. The company would benefit by fewer errors being made by users because the current manual entry by users is error prone.

Crappy App Barely Functions. Pretty abysmal app especially considering how many people rely on it for work. I’m not done with my comp sci degree but even I could program it better. The thing that makes it even worse is the fact that all other Disney apps work great so I know the resources to make it what it should be are likely available. Why it hasn’t been fixed yet is a mystery.

Solid App. So happy that the company makes an app just for their employees. Nobody else does this! Thank you for giving me an app to get all of the information about what opportunities I can access.

Cast Member. I’m having the same issue with the app ,the blue circle just shows app but doesn’t change from there.I installed the app and I’m installed and she shows the same results. I have the 13 pro and with my old iPhone 11 it didn’t have no issues with the app.

Doesn’t work on iPhone 13 Pro Max (as of 9/26). When it worked, this app was excellent! I much appreciated the alternative to the web version of the Hub. Unfortunately after upgrading to a new iPhone 13 Pro Max (and transferring apps), the app just hangs on the initial blue/purple loading screen (with the logo and loading “sparkle” circle). I tried uninstalling and reinstalling to see if that might fix it with no success. Would love to see an update released that gets things working again on the new devices!

The worst app ever to be created on the App Store. Never in my life did I think that someone could create such a horrible application…There’s so many bugs on this app it’s not even funny. No, I don’t want to have to reinstall the app every 10 minutes because these devs can’t seem to fix one bug. It’s crazy that Disney is a multi billion dollar company, but can’t seem to hire some great dev team that can put together a functional application.

Calendar Integration. The app is fine. It would be nice to have the option to save your schedule directly into your phone calendar so you don’t have to open the app or the website every time you need to check it.

Terrible app. This app is so slow and half the time totally unresponsive, I'll try to sign in and I'll put my password in and then click sign in and luterally nothing happens and the same thing happens when I eventually get signed in and try to access my schedule or paystub and have to sign in over and over again. Or just shut the app down and start over from the very beginning, there have been times I was not able to sign in before my 15 minute break was over which is totally ridiculous

Schedule tab is now gone. The update seemed to have a forced update and now the schedule tab is gone. I had to delete and reinstall the app, it fixed the issue but when I went back to the app, the schedule tab is gone again. And so are the view pay stub and view paid time off buttons are gone under the profile tab. Please fix!

Notifications bug. This app is great however, all of a sudden the notifications will say there’s a notification when there’s nothing and it won’t go away. I did the reset, delete and re download and finally asked anyone else if they are having this issue and they all said yes. I hope it gets fixed soon so I can turn my notifications back on. Turning them off was the only way to get rid of them.

Wheres my schedule?!. For a company with a bunch of money it’s embarrassing that they cant have a funcional app for the workers that make their magic!! The most important part of this app is the schedule and its gone!! Update; thank you for listening to our concerns and fixing the calendar issue.

What happened, Disney?!!. The Disney Cast Life app used to be decent and worked well. Now, it is not very good and some current features were removed or relocated. The new updates also makes it is harder to log into the Hub or even do a simple schedule future request. The app also crashes more than before. Please fix these issues! It is not fun!!

Ya dropped the ball. This app used to work just fine, but it’s gone down the ******* recently. The icon that we can select in order to load our schedule keeps disappearing, so I’ve gotta uninstall and reinstall the app multiple days in a week. Please step up the effort and help this app run smooth once again.

Schedule. App use to work well on my iPhone but lately it’s been taking forever to open the app also. And then now the schedule doesn’t show on the calendar. Yet if I go to “schedule view” then I can view it. Not as fast and app friendly as it was.

Add the calendar back. Have to see schedule in military time via the hub when that should have been discontinued, new update removed the calendar view tab with my schedule in local time so much unneeded headache

No trading through the app?. I hope this is brought up quickly and established with in an update. Not being able to trade through the app and having a pop up open instead? I know it’s something in the right direction, but hope for something to come.

Fix the notification. Can we please fix the icon notification it has a glitch on the app that shows it but I’ve already read the notification section.

crashes instantly. Hello, I used to use this app often and it worked on my iPhone 13 Pro Max but now whenever I go to open it, it instantly crashes on start up and I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it still crashes. At this point the app is completely unusable and no matter what I do it always crashes. Please fix this issue.

App will not open. Since the last update 2 weeks ago, the app will not show the sign in option. It stays on the cast life screen. In order to get the app to work you have to turn your phone off and reboot. I have uninstalled the app a few times and reinstall but that does not seem to fix the issue. When the app is 100% working it is a great app.

Updated Schedule View. I have no idea who’s idiotic idea it was to take away the schedule tab at the bottom of the screen.. it made everything so much easier to view and to take action on shifts without having to open up the actual schedule website… I don’t even know who approved it because who the actual eff would want that to be changed to an inbox tab of all things??? I never touched the inbox tab before 😭 why would I start now.. bring back the schedule tab

Could be better. Not sure if it’s just me, but I have to log in to the app every time I use it. If I’m going to have to log in anyway, I might as well just use The Hub. Also the app prevents you from taking screenshots of your schedule. It’s MY schedule, why can’t I save it? At least make a feature that syncs to your iPhone calendar.

Keeps crashing. App doesn’t open, freezes on the title screen, doesn’t keep you logged in, schedule should be the first thing you see when it opens, screenshot warning message needs to be removed and it just reroutes you to the website on almost anything you click on. This app has a long way to go before it can even be considered as decent. I’ll go back to using the website until this app is fixed and improved.

Cast Members: download this app!. After a much needed update, this app will let Disney Cast Members access all TWDC features such as HR, payroll, shift calendar, Rostr, etc. The ONLY thing I will critique is the calendar lacking the necessary shift trade feature (which you’d have to do from a browser on your phone; i.e. Chrome, Safari)

Just keeps loading. When I try to see my paystub or sick hours it just keeps loading the sparkly circle and then the page goes blank, tried uninstalling and everything but nothing works, it was working fine before, just disappointed , hopefully this gets fixed

Great idea. I love the app, it’s brilliant. But I keep getting bugged (haha) at the fact that I always open it, it stays in the navy screen and I have to completely close it and open it again so the sign in button appears. I would also like to be able to take screenshots without Edna Mode’s stern look telling me I did something wrong. I have short memory Edna, I just wanna have my schedule handy. Thank you.

Calendar changed. I don’t know why yall decided to change the calendar so we can’t view our schedule at the bottom of the screen anymore but it’s kinda irritating 😭 I don’t want to have to view it from schedule view when the formatting is weird and only military time. I miss my old schedule 😔 Please stop updating it when it’s perfectly fine before

what’s going on. THE MAIN THING and most important thing I use this app for is the convenience in checking my schedule, calling late or calling out or requesting leader call-back… for the last few days that has not been available and it’s really irritating! I’ve signed out and signed back in multiple times, uninstalled and reinstalled the app and NOTHING is being back that convenience. I can’t see my schedule and the tab for it is now for notifications of which do not MATTER I. My everyday life the way my schedule does. Please fix this issue!

Annoying notification bug. This app works great but theres a annoying “1” on the app when i see my phone’s homescreen and when i open the app i see no new notifications if you can fix that?

Calendar Button removed - Not Neurodiverse-Friendly. We believe the app is a employee work assistance tool, right? Seeing our work schedule, at a glance, should be the top, or at least one of the top features. Adding additional barriers to access, goes against our 3 of 5 keys: Courtesy, Inclusion (I.e. neurodiversity), and Efficiency. Feature was removed with the recent app update. Instead of one click, I have to sign into through app, go through 3 steps, sign on again, to see the schedule. App has many great other features but honestly no point in having it downloaded. I rather log in one time to the website, and 1-2 clicks to see the schedule. Disappointing. - iOS user

About time! Still got some bugs to work out. FINALLY!! It’s about time the HUB gets an actual app! It does have quite a long buffer/loading time and it’s quicker to pull up my schedule on safari than wait for it to be done loading just to log in. There is weird glitching between clicking on something and opening it like a browser. When this happens there is more glitching between typing things in and getting stuck zoomed in and zoomed out

Schedule never loads. The layout and design of the app is very nice. This would be a five star app if my schedule would load. 99% of the time my schedule will never load. It will just keep buffering no matter how many times I close it out and reopen it.

poor functioning. Please send an update and bug fix soon. Cast life is slow, it’s buggy and repetitive. there’s so many times that i have to login more than once. sometimes more than twice. That makes it so hard to get anything done. I’ve also had to just force close my app multiple times to get it to work. There are hundreds of cast that rely on this app and this is not something we can count on. Might as well go back to paper everything.

Um?. ever since the update, my schedule tab at the bottom has been missing. I have to go through tools, find schedule view, then navigate through that to view my schedule. It is very frustrating & inconvenient. I uninstalled & reinstalled the app & it appeared to be fixed. I clicked on the tab & it stayed on the loading screen & eventually told me I don’t have access. Now the schedule tab is missing again. This new update has added a stress to my work day that I honestly do not need.

Messages. They should incorporate a group messaging feature for the different areas to make things easier to do announcements and just be able to communicate with everyone we work with

Cant get to my schedule. Can’t access anything of importance my roster my schedule or my record card its taking longer to authenticate anything it wont save my trusted browser i always have to two step verify and it just spins and spins with no search results

For the iPhone, please bring the calendar section back from the toggle switch. Before you made the changes in the toggle switch where there are calendar events and there’s a calendar tools and the profile you guys removed the calendar and put a notification in box from the search bar to the taco menus. I don’t like that because when I was using the Calendar, help me see my schedules and it was a lot better to see them without going to the cast mobile and screenshot every part of my work schedule just to see my work schedules. It would be nice to bring back the calendar with the schedules that I work for because it helps me see, what time my schedule and where I’m gonna be at and it was big enough to see and it was easier for my eyes to see it. Going through that mobile section needs more improvement to for those that are legally blind or totally blind to help them see their schedules, a little bit better and make the font size a little bit bigger. Please bring back the calendar section because that was a very good improvement for those that are legally blind that can use that for their schedules and to see where they need to go to and what time they need to be there. please also remove the inbox and move it somewhere else. At least move it to the search bar area. It would be easier. please fix these improvements as soon as possible.

Good but still a way to go. They need to: - Make login persistent, right now it works more like their in house apps with the login screen. - native shift trade and pick up to schedule view - the ability to add blue ID to wallet like you can for my mobile magic with annual pass and main entrance. States are already allowing drivers license to be added - take away the nag screen when sharing screenshots of days of OUR OWN schedules Keep up the good work. 👍🏼

Opens with Blank Screen. Unfortunately, the app has never worked in either my old iPhone 8+ or new iPhone 12. I’ve deleted and re-downloaded the app several times, and the updates don’t affect the functionality either. Currently it opens to the purple screen with the Disney copyright on the bottom briefly, and then to a completely blank white screen. (I can’t access schedule view via the website version, either.) Would be great if I had access, please!

Makes me sign in every single time.. When I can get into the app it’s great, but every time I open it, I get the loading screen then nothing. I have to close the app and then reopen it to be given the sign in screen and even then if I switch back to the app while still having it open I’m made to sign in again. It feels like more work was put Into making the loading screen 50th anniversary appropriate. Again I love the app when it works it’s just a pain to get it to work.

Needs an update, but has potential. This app is looking great, but it undermines its own convenience, by making me reload the app just to get a “sign in” button. Lose the fancy intro logo-sequence that slows down the app actually loading, and make it so I can sign in with biometrics. I love the app once I’m in it, but it’s annoying having to try several times- every. Single. Time.

App not working. I’ve tried to delete and reinstall the app, log in and log out, and restart my phone but when I click on the app it “logs me in” but it shows a white screen with nothing on it. Will there be an update to resolve this issue?

App log in. Would be a nice alternative to logging on the website if it didn’t constantly log me off the app. At this point using the app or going to open a web page have the same convenience.

Needs updating for new phones. As other reviewers have mentioned, the app worked great on my previous phone but when I upgraded to the 13 Pro the app will no longer load. Uninstalling and reinstalling does not solve. I love the design otherwise.

Essential and efficient. Everything a cast member needs all in one! We all hate the hub and this is the easiest thing they’ve ever made for us!

“Needs Work” is an understatement. This app is ruthlessly poor quality. If it doesn’t kick you out unexpectedly, it frequently gets frozen on pages or only partially loads. Regardless of Wi-Fi (Company or otherwise), the app functions as if from the 90’s. Someone please scrap this coding and start over.

Use to work great. Use to work great switched to my new phone won’t work anymore I’ve tried deleting it and re installing it nothing works I just went from the iPhone 11 to 12 so it shouldn’t have to do with that and all my other apps work perfectly please help

Not useful. The app is not very useful. Always out, is always closing on me. Super user friendly, but every time I try to access it returns to the signing page and it doesn’t load.

How many times a day do we need to reinstall this?. The last update is a giant failure. 2 factor security checks which I don't have to my schedule disappearing and now I can't even get the login screen. Was there any sandbox testing with actual DL CM accounts?

Does not function on iPhone SE (2022 edition). Pressing "sign in" on the main screen does not prompt for login credentials, but instead produces the error "oops, something went wrong, please sign out and try again" with a sign out button, despite never having an opportunity to sign in.

Downgrade from before. It used to work faster and had less loading and sign in requirements before. Now it’s just super slow and tedious. Upgrades they made were downgrades for users.

Not loading. I have re-downloaded this app a few times and since I got my iPhone 13 pro max, it doesn’t want to load. The app is great but can’t get into it anymore.

Logging in. It’s a lot faster to log in via the website. On Average it takes me over 5 minutes to log in using the app, verses I can log in to the website in under a minute.

Just use Face ID instead of repeat sign in. Begging you to just utilize Face ID , I have to sign in multiple times a day to the point I barely use the app. The app will log you out after about 5 min

IOS update. Great app but doesn’t work w IOS 15. Now that my phone has been updated, I can’t use the app. 🤬

So far so good issues with iphone 13 pro max. All devices work except my phone 13 pro Max. I have various devices and tablets all work except my new iphone. Stuck on splash screen.

Dissatisfied and disappointed. Very low quality for all its bells and whistles. It’s slow, buggy and acts as just a launch pad to use the browser. It works when it wants to and is unreliable. Will it work on your 15? Maybe! Just make a WISH and maybe ✨

Stopped working. The app used to work on my old phone (iPhone XR) but since getting my new phone (iPhone 12) it won’t open, it just sits on the loading screen.

No access. I’m currently not able to open the app, I’m stuck at the Cast Life screen there is no advancements to the next page of the app. I’ve already gone and deleted the app then reinstalled it and the issue still persist.

Painful. What is the point of this app if you have to sign in with your email, VERY LONG password, plus 2-factor authentification each and every time you use it? This is not convenient, to say the least.

No more schedule view. We used to be able to see our schedule in this app but now it makes us leave the app and log into the hub which was supposed to not exist anymore. Please bring it back!

Does not load. The app just opens up to white page and does not go any further. I have tried deleting and downloading it again and still does not work.

App Stopped Working A Month Ago. When this app worked, it was great (although it did glitch a good bit). Randomly one day it stopped working and I was never able to login again.

App always broken. Cant even view my schedule or literally anything bc it’s always broken. The options for those things don’t even show up on mine so frustrating Change my complicated password for nothing it still don’t work

App will not open.. I’ve been stuck on this splash screen for what’s seems like eternity. I was able to use it maybe four times before I got caught in this loading limbo.

Upgrade issues. Upgraded to an iPhone 13 pro max and the app will no longer load. Tried uninstall reinstall and no luck.

It doesn’t stay logged in.. It used to worked fine. Now that I switched to iPhone 13 ProMax, when I want to use it after I already logged in, I have to log back in again. It takes forever to login. It’s annoying!!! Please, fix it! Thank you!!!

So Many Issues. The app constantly logs me out, you can’t trade shifts, the notifications don’t clear when you connect to the Hub on the internet, you get a stupid notification when you screenshot your schedule, etc. I’m deleting this app.

Can be better. App can be better tested. Work items are secondary and should take priority. Too many steps just to view schedule and pay stubs. Schedules do not push to outlook so you have to keep coming back to the app.

Won’t let me sign in. I have an IPhone 11 and I have tried multiple times to sign in but it won’t let me. I put my info in and then it acts like it is going to sign in flashing though things then puts me right back at sign in screen. Tried updating, deleting and reinstalling but no luck. Would be nice if it worked

Doesnt work… Please fix this problem... This app just hangs in the initial load screen.. I havent been able to get it to work on my iphone. Please fix this. I saw the other review from a year ago that was having the same issue… its still happening. Disappointing.

iPhone 13 Pro. I thought I was going crazy! The app will not load for the newest iPhone. Hope it gets fixed soon!

Bugs Galore. Constantly crashes, constantly requires me to sign in and immediately goes back to sign in page upon successfully entering my password. Absolutely horrible app that suffers from too many bugs. DO BETTER

RIP Calendar Section. The developers replaced the calendar tab with the notifications tab, so now the only way to see your schedule is all the way on ScheduleView. Please put the calendar tab back, I miss it already. 🙏🫠

Could be better. It would be so much better if it sent a notification when someone trades a shift with you to prevent unknown shift trading

Annoying app!!!. Too complicated to use, asking too much accounts and password all the time, couldnt direct me right away on point like theres so many steps to go through before you go in, constant password changing! If theres an option for no star This app is zero stars

Pretty redundant and not particularly useful.. If I wanted to be redirected to my web browser and submit my login credentials each time I open a new page, I would have just done that.

Doesn’t work with the IPhone 13. This app was great until I got the iPhone 14 pro. Now I can’t get this app to log in at all! It just loads and loads and loads.

Not good.. This app is bad. First off I have to open the app multiple times before the button to sign in loads. Second, I shouldn’t have to sign in every single time I open the app. It should keep me logged in. Third, it’s just extremely slow and lagging.

Login/logout. The app hangs up when trying to log out blue screen with the rotating circle. Will not clear. Using iPhone and had no problems until a few weeks ago. Removed app and reinstalled but problem persists!

Does not work on IPad. The app was working great but now it gives you an error “Ops something went wrong” sign out. The when you click on sig in. It gives you the same error message. It started today September 25, 2022.
