Fun but…. So it’s cool but I’m having a hard time catching anything better than regular fish really. I sorry to say progress is to slow really. Also understanding where a certain fish or object is from an npcs discretion is not clear. And one more thing how I’m I suppository to make enough to open other lakes is I can barely make 200 because I only have five spots and after turning in fish I have to pay 100 out of the 200 just to get back to a lake. Wow now that I think about this game I’m not sure what I like about it I put 5 stars before writing the review but I can’t give that it eally would be 2 and a half but I’ll go 3 sorry make it a bit easier to progress forward without having to buy gems I mean and you’ll have a great game

Easy to love. I’m not big on writing reviews but I decided to just because the game asked me to so nicely lol. The game is really fun. It’s also relaxing and a good way to pass the time. I’ve read some of the other reviews that give the devs ideas of what they’d like to see from the game and from what I can tell is that the Devs have already implemented a few of the good ideas. Seems the app’s creator really cares. As far as the game play it’s easy to learn and full of little quests that aren’t way too easy but also not too difficult. So you do feel a sense of accomplishment when finishing a quest. I don’t know..it’s almost the perfect little game. If you asked me if I’d recommend it to a friend I’d have to say YES. 100% YES. give it a try Folks.

Please make the quest items easier to catch. This game is very relaxing have some very good taste in music but the only thing is for players that are not that patient, I’m warning you now it will take you up to 30 minutes just to complete the quest with item finding. For example I timed myself with one of the quest on Costa Rica for finding coconuts it took me 38 minutes to see my first coconut another 17 minutes for second. If you are here to relax and just want to fish don’t bother doing quest they made item finding very very difficult. Same thing with sea monsters spent 34 gems on monster bait just for me to take 48 minutes to find one. Good luck finding wood planks to set up your island! There is maybe 8 a day total in all 4 maps. I really wanted to give 1 star to this game for the lack of items to be found but the graphics and music makes up for. Hopefully the developers will make quest easier for players who wants to level up and get rewards

Addicting !. The game is very beautiful. In the beginning, you meet an older sailor that teaches you the intro to the game. You then meet this woman who challenges you to catch various fish. You explore different fish depending on the time of day. There is plenty of ways to earn gems and coins, so it is not a cash-grab game. The music is calming, which i’m glad because you have to have some patience with the game to catch more rare fish. All of these details makes it a great game; however, I do wish the developers could make a noise whenever the fish is caught, because I react better with sound rather than just seeing the tiny bob go underneath the water. I understand that is a part of the patience aspect of the game, but it’s a suggestion. Highly recommend !

Needs serious work on the economy of the game. I feel like it takes way too long to progress in the game for it to be as slow and Easy going as the game is it just leads to being super boring and repetitive with no fun or exciting content. It’s almost like it intentionally keeps the very few fun things about the game locked away by hours of grinding to keep you from finding out just how little there is to the game. By no means do I mean to take away from the games relaxing nature, I only mean to point out the fact of the economy of the game keeps you from progressing in the early game. With the limited backpack space, and having to choose between fish and resources in those limited spots. Then you have to pay 100 gold just to return to the fishing zone which takes 90% of your profit forcing you into a slow monotonous grind for very very limited reward. If I could suggest anything it would be to up the xp reward for catching fish and lower the price to return to the island. I find the concept of the game very cool it’s just hard to continue playing day after day and having no new content to look forward to.

You can fish. And also push other peoples boats around. Both I very much appreciate. Occasionally she does freeze up and auto shut down, might just be the ram I have available on my 7 though. Most of the time it happens when I’m reeling in a decent sized fish so I get stuck with the clicking noise for a minute or so until the phone manages to shut everything off. I’m pretty patient so it’s not really a big deal for me 🤷‍♀️ Other than that it’s pretty rad; nice audio, pretty graphics, mostly straightforward gameplay, vaguely animal crossing vibe sometimes. Or in terms of the AA games; yes can fish. Unfortunately cannot pet the dog because there isn’t one (so far).

Fun concept, still needs work. I really like the concept of the game and the fishing mechanics, but I am often confused about the details of specific fish or gear items. Also, I forget things the characters might tell me in the little dialogues. I would love if all that information was stored somewhere in the game. For example, I would like the bestiary to contain information on which region to find the creature (e.g., Paradise Island, garbage patch) and the method you should use to catch the creature (e.g., catch and drop). I would also like if there was information on what the various lures and bait do (I still don’t really understand the proper way to use bait). I would also like if the parrot was a quest lot, so I could see all my previous missions and what the quest assigner said to do/where to go.

Fun, until it isn’t. Gameplay is fun, for a while, then it just gets tedious. The fish seem to disappear and I have to wonder if it’s a push to get you to use bait, which is annoying and removes the fun from the gameplay. Also, nothing is explained, people have made wikis with good guesses but there’s very little in the game that is explained. This is lazy. No stats, no info on what anything actually does (the skills section is very vague and unhelpful) it’s just a mess. The other “players” in the game world…make it so much worse. You’ll be waiting for a bite and another player will zoom over your bobber and can cause a preemptive reel (losing the fish) or it will dart before you see it. The emoticons are unhelpful and there’s a bug that leaves an emoticon on the center of screen until you restart the game. Lures are a joke? Or maybe it’s just another item they didn’t describe well? Either way, if you have a level 5 (any level I’m guessing) lure for a specific fish, and you go to the spot that specific fish spawns at…..you will catch anything and everything except that type of fish. Idk if this is intentional or what but it was the final straw for me. This is a potential game. It has potential. But there are too many flaws in it to waste my time anymore. No developer response necessary. I will redownload the game when/if it’s in a better state.

Missed Opportunity- So Close. Beautiful visuals, immersive sound design, promising meta layers with multiple areas to grind and progress, but ultimately it comes to an awkward halt when you find yourself doing all things possible to check off a “rare” catch and it becomes painfully slooooow and frustratingly impossible. (And I’m just on the first map.) It’s a bummer with all the potential it has and the care that obviously went into the other areas of the game. Games starts to feel pretty shallow and disappointing after so many “un-lucky” moments. You’d think they’d build in a “fail safe” or “courtesy” system to alleviate potential burn out. Again beautiful game with so much potential, just a bummer to have to delete and rate it so low. Games too hard. Good luck catching “the elusive Shredder”. Plan on wasting hours and hours on ridiculously awkward “luck”-based design that skews depressingly difficult. Bummer

Great game, super chill. This game is fantastic and anyone looking for a relaxing way to pass the time needs to look no further. It’s got fun fishing missions, seasonal changes, and cute eco-friendly ways to gain karma. And you can join groups and work together to get points! Some things I would like to see in the future would be a friend feature, where you could group up and play together. And a way to see / reacts to what others in the lobby, or at least friends in the lobby, are catching. So you could congratulate a nice catch! And I would LOVE to see a chat feature with friends you play with. But in the spirit of keeping things very relaxing and chill, it could be a quick chat thing where you just choose from preloaded text. But then!! You could add way more unlockables like quick chats and correlating things. Your little text pops up in a speech bubble, so you could unlock different bubble colors or types. Maybe different fonts for the chats too. Extra emotes? I think this would add a little more to the multiplayer appeal of the game, as well as maybe cultivating more good vibes. I think it adds fun to be able to congratulate someone on a great catch, and everyone loves to be hyped up! *edited after newest update* Love the addition of being able to share wood with friends. Once you’ve maxed things out, it’s VERY nice to be able to give it up to buds who need it.

so much potential. materials are scarce, specifically wood. gems are hard to get, which normally i would be fine with but this game needs to lower the prices for gem bought items. it takes days to get enough just to get monster bait, something you practically need to get a monster, which you need in order to go on more missions. it’s highly difficult to level up in this game and is super repetitive. i feel like i’m spending a lot of time catching fish or trash, running out of storage, (you only get 5 slots, of course you can buy more with gems but i explained that issue already) and repeating this. another thing is that they have a lot of things without any explanation of what it is. these buildings that i’m collecting wood for, what are they? there should also be some sort of tutorial or question board, who would’ve known there was a daily spin? but i should mention i have yet to win anything on it since every other slot is empty… this game is so cute, but it isn’t fun to play because it’s not rewarding whatsoever. it’s as if the game is grabbing for money by purposefully making materials scarce, and item costs high. also, one complaint is how they label a native headdress as “trash.” really?? call it an artifact or something, anything but trash! their culture isn’t a part of a game, it’s real, and sacred.

Extremely stingy. One of the most stingy games I have ever played. You essentially are required to pay for premium currency to play this game. As well as just waiting around several days to finish the buildings. There’s not even an option to pay real money to speed it up, so you’re literally just waiting days to collect a couple scarce planks per day, for seemingly no reason at all. It would make way more sense to actually be able to earn the planks through gameplay. Basically be prepared to mindlessly fish for no apparent reason, and for no actual gain since it costs gems to buy anything important. Just a map to Great Lakes (which you should have already) costs 40 gems. You can only earn 1 to 2 gems PER DAY. There’s also a wheel you can spin with the possibility of winning a few items, but between each item is an EMPTY space. So be prepared to win nothing from that 50% of the time. On top of that it costs 100 coins to go fishing? So each time you come back to sell with the standard bag size, it negates half or more of your profit. Essentially just doubling the grind for coins. Nothing in this game makes any sense.

Relaxing experience with some action on occasion. Definitely very visually appealing game as you explore and take in the various environments. Looking forward to future updates in the regard for sure. The day/night cycle and having to explore and search for the various fish is super fun. If you are hoping to make tons of gold fast, this might not be for you as you’d be robbing yourself of the relaxing fishing experience by trying to hurry through the games content. Listening to the waves as you cast and wait is so much fun and very nice. I do hope more relaxing music will be added as others have mentioned. Music for different times of the day and for different environments would be super cool. Overall, this game is a fantastic fishing experience that I hope will continue to be supported for a long while. I haven’t gotten into the clan activities yet, but it seems like there is some sort of “battle” or competition. I’d love it if you would consider some cooperative activities as a clan that might not be super highly competitive as well to compliment the game’s already chill feel. Thank you for one of the best games currently on my phone.

Good, but will hopefully become better…. This game was relaxing and aesthetically pleasing, the IAP are not excessive, and the community is very active. It was a little grindy but overall allowed for steady progress. My two complaints: 1. *To catch monsters you are unofficially ***REQUIRED*** to use the games Discord chat to find where to catch them each night*. I spent money and used 40 monster bait over 4 evenings with no luck. Out of frustration I went on, the Discord and had caught Shredder in 10 minutes. 2. *The act of finally catching a monster is underwhelming*. After spending all those days and monster bait trying to catch shredder, once I finally got him on the line, it just felt like I was catching any other fish. You spend the whole game watching the shadows of the creatures swim below the surface. There should be some animation that makes the battle more intense. Simply having the shadow animation below the surface would be better than nothing. This game is *so* close to being a great monster fishing game. It is just missing a few elements. Hopefully the developers continue to update and grow the game!

Love this game. The chill atmosphere and soundtrack is fantastic. It’s just difficult enough to keep me playing but not so much that I want to throw my phone or iPad down in frustration. It’s not a app for face-paced gamers; however, it stays interesting. I play more in the morning than at night, so I have caught the monsters in only two of the areas. This is my go-to when I’m drinking my coffee and trying to get my brain together after I wake up. Also really like that I can switch between playing on my iPhone and iPad seamlessly. A couple suggestions… It would be nice if there was a way to store the rods if you want to switch before the rod breaks. Also, I’d like to be able to buy something for the boat so it could go a little faster at times. For example, I go to each area first and find all the trash, wood, coins, and the daily task. Not such a big deal in Paradise, but as the areas get bigger it takes a while to get from one end to the other. Other than those things, I have zero complaints! Love this game!

Cute game!. I’ve also been playing for a few days now and I’ve come to really enjoy the game. I do agree with some of the points from the other review, that it’s a slow start in the beginning, very much back and forth between Paradise Island and the one with the shop. I’d also agree with the fact of getting those buildings completed is a bit difficult when only a few planks cycle through the game it seems like and then after that there’s no more that does, if we could somehow get more of those floating around here and there throughout playing the game instead of just once that would be pretty sweet. Overall I think the game is set up fairly nice and easy to navigate, I can’t wait to see what’s more to come for this!

Very enjoyable and relaxing, BUT…. So I’ve been playing it for a couple of days now, and I love the music and sound effects, which I found very ASMR and therefore very soothing. The graphics and color schemes also play a role in making the game feel very Zen overall. However, what I found most tedious is the slow start. The player starts with very limited inventory space (5) and will have to keep going back and forth between the main island (player base) and the first available location, where the player can start meeting objectives in order to propel the game. The algorithms of having to keep paying funds to go to the location, catching some fishes (or trash to recycle), and completing objectives make it difficult to progress to just Lvl. 2 because 1) player pays $100 for each trip or the game doesn’t progress at all, 2) your bag can only hold 5 items, 3) the total value of goods the player catches in the beginning barely break even with the $100 spent to get there so there’s barely any profit left and feels more like a 2-step forward, 1 step back process. Player also has to collect materials to build and upgrade the base, but with so many wood plank requirements just to build the dockyard (which is the first building after the shop and is supposed to be the key to increasing inventory space) and with only 5 slots to put all the fishes, trash, and materials in, the overall feel just feels very imbalanced. Other than that, it’s a very adorable game.

Cool game but definitely pay to play. Great graphics, background music and cool characters and different locations, but unless you want invest countless hours doing the exact same thing over and over again which becomes very tedious, it’s a pay to play game, you can’t upgrade your storage, or get the monster bait which is pretty much required to get the monster fish without diamonds which you can’t get in a timely fashion so you almost have to buy them. Cool concept and overall great game except the fact that you’re limited in what you can do and get unless you want to spend hours and hours and hours playing or spend real money. I’m not giving up on it yet hopefully in the future you can purchase bait with coins or diamonds not just diamonds

Pretty old game. I like the looks and many of the different parts of this game however I don’t see a way to go to the maps during the night time to catch the monster fish like the game tells me to I also don’t like that the progression is limited by the timers on quests when the characters tell you come back tomorrow and that they will give you more but they only give you one or two quests making it a bit to slow I get it’s supposed to be a realistic game but I feel like that needs to be worked on and my only guess for the night time is that it follows irl time and I’d actually have to play when it’s night time because I can’t find how to make it night time

Wonderful Experience. Firstly, I very rarely review apps and mobile games. But after logging quite some time in this game I wanted to write one for anyone thinking of taking it for a spin. I believe that users should keep in mind the goals and style of games when they play them. Creatures of the Deep is a relaxing low effort fishing game, with a surprising amount of depth and light-heartedness. The Devs did a wonderful job creating the atmosphere. The art style is unique and fun, I always enjoy watching my fisherman and his boat dangy when riding the helicopter. And the cartoon fish are colorful and unique. There is also a myriad of areas to unlock that get larger as the game progresses with unique areas and little nuances to see and discover. The devs paired this art style with great music that is soothing and relaxing. It fits with a fishing games requirements of patience wonderfully. The result is a relaxing experience that I’ve found very pleasing and fun. Next, I’ve enjoyed the progression. Fun NPC characters, quests, and discovery to love the player along through areas and learn about the monsters that inhabit these areas. I always like to see incorporation of ways for a free-to-play player to get in game currencies. And the daily gem quests allow for players to get gems to upgrade things without spending money. I highly recommend this game for anyone looking for a relaxing fishing experience with a fun art style and great music.

Great, but there’s room for improvement. This game is extremely addictive and fun. In fact it’s currently my most play mobile game. With that being said, it needs a few more additions and tweaks. First and foremost, you should tweak the resources required to craft buildings in the hub island. My first idea was to increase the rate of spawn for wood. The best way to improve it would be to reduce the total amount of resources needed and instead make the player acquire a variety of different materials. The game could also use more areas. You need more content with how addictive this game is designed to be. When making these new areas don’t make the too much increasingly bigger because it becomes a hassle to traverse the map. In the past I’ve seen very few games with the potential this one has, so it’s important to capitalize on it. The game is very solid in it’s current state, but it could be great. In the future I look forward to seeing this become one of the greatest games on the App Store. Thanks for reading, sincerely, Land

It’s fun, but not addictive. This game is fun and quick to learn. You pick up how to play quickly and can get a strategy together to accomplish a lot of the tasks. The economics of the game are little unbalanced, since it seems difficult to make enough money at first, and then you have more money than necessary and not enough rubies. I like the idea of the bait and the luck mechanic, but I wish there was more information about how lucky the different baits were. Similarly, it would be cool if the boat improvements could also result in minor skill improvements or catch quantities. You have a bag to fill, but you’re also on a boat. The bag shouldn’t be the only hindrance. I wish you could glean more about when to catch some species without needing to catch them first; like maybe a character in each location can be bribed to tell you where/when to find each one. Because otherwise you have no clue how those play out. Or at least I don’t! Lol. The game is a lot of fun with some minor suggestions to make it that much better. Cheers on a good job!

Meh. So far the game has a cool concept but I can only handle bite sized sessions because it gets real boring catching the same fish and spending all the money coming back to the fishing area. I can’t remember all the tactics of catching certain fish. I don’t know when to use the available items and what they are for. I’m at 24% on the first fishing area and I keep fishing and nothing new is happening. It gets boring. But I am going to keep this on my phone and play it time to time because it is fun at times. Also the wood required to build upgrades is too much for the amount of time you actually find wood. It means you have to play the game a LoT if you want to find the wood. I also don’t remember to play at night when I think different fish may appear. But I wouldn’t say change that feature where daylight means daylight in the game. I’ll be seeing ya.

RELEASE THE KRAKEN!!!. I really enjoy the game, however I’m starting to think the snake oil they sell you (monster bait), is just a ploy for sell tactics. I’ve yet to catch a sea monster…. Also I wish I had known that I could keep fish and other treasures that I find in the storage shed you have to collect wood for. I would’ve been saving up for that before the clans or trophy room. Also would’ve been more interesting if you had tsunami’s whenever your searching for the elusive shark in the first chapter of the game. Hence the choppy waves and bubbles, just a thought. Overall the game is nice change to everyday life. I like to play it on my iPad more just because I feel like it’s more detailed than my tiny screen on my iPhone SE. also maybe just a couple of things, that kinda bug me, customizing my boat. I wish it didn’t cost so much gems…. That’s where they getcha on it. Roughly going to cost ya $40 to make it look like a tiny pirate ship or even better the langskip. I don’t mind paying a little for nicer things but I’m not gaining much from it except aesthetic value. Give us a crane or a fish radar something we can actually use for catching or hauling up treasure. That would be awesome!!! Maybe I’m asking for too much from a simple yet beautiful game. Either way it’s looking at, gotta have some patience too. It’s not a fast paced game.

Frustratingly slow and low reward for time you spent.. This game has lots of possibility but it’s so frustratingly slow and low reward for the amount time you have to spend. The rarer fish are literally rare. Even if you manage to catch few and sell, it’s not much profit cuz your rod breaks after certain casts. There are 3 types of rods but you can only buy/use one at a time and if you buy a new rod while having a rod, the previous ones disappear. ??? like why can’t i have all three rod in my inventory and use whichever i like? And the buildings..lol there’s like no info about them. Like what’s is for, why do i need it? And to build a building you need tonss of material(wood) but you only get 8 or less ? material a day…only if you have all maps unlocked. Plus there’s no other way of getting material. So you have to login every day for 5,6 days just to unlock a building you don’t even know what its for. Plus i just few coins(which i spent hours) while buying rods cuz network error. Aint no way i am going back after that. Thank you.

So Fun!!!. It has been a long time since I have found a game where I can just sit back and enjoy fishing! There are just enough missions to keep you busy and it is also super fun to try and get all of the different types of fish/trash around the island. I love how the way you fish is different as well when it comes to certain fish you try and get! All around this is an amazing game!! If I were to change anything, I would definitely make it easier to get wood so that you can build your different buildings a little faster. But honestly, other than that (which is super minor) I highly recommend this game if you like fishing games where you can relax and just enjoy your time😄

A nice quant fishing game!. First and foremost this is a fishing game at heart. It is calming, slow and very reminiscent of how it is to feel casting out a line in real life. If you’re looking for action packed, high intensity gameplay keeping you on the edge of your seats then this is not for you. If you want a relaxing experience to just zone out and not have to care too much about the next goal or achievement then this game is perfect. I highly recommend just playing for enjoyment and not to just grind out quests and unlock everything as fast as humanly possibly… it will come(its a fishing game after all which is all about patience anyway), just play and have fun and fish up some digital sealife. Other then that the art style is really cool and pleasing along with the map designs. And the music/ environment sounds are a perfect match to the gameplay. I only just wish for more music options to be totally honest. Really fun game if you’re just looking to play for the sake of playing and not midmax or grind the whole game day 1. Highly recommend!

Get it. Right Now. You need this game in your library.. Got this game thinking it was a different one, but boy was I anything but disappointed. Very cool, chill graphics, this game is like it you took just the fishing part out of animal crossing and added fun backstories and extra features. It’s a great game for those who like no brainers that are pretty and have cute storylines. There are no ads unless you choose to watch ads for bonus materials but by no means are they necessary to gameplay. To the developers: well done. This is a high-quality game for free, and if it continues being as awesome as it is it will definitely continue to have a home on my phone.

Great game very relaxing only one issue.. Loving the game. Fun to play with a slow start up. Many trips you will barely break even until you get the boat dock/ upgrade station and upgrade you storage capacity. That being said I lost all the free lumber you get at your island apparently due to a bug. I logged out of the game, came back later and all the lumber disappeared. That caused me to farm wood for a few more days than normal to unlock what I basically would of gotten for free during the first 2 days. This ruined the experience a bit but I continued playing since so many people posted great reviews. You also should save your gems the maps don’t really add much in there current state and a GPS would really make them worth buying(IE. you buy each map to make the GPS device find quest givers and a fish finder that reveals the location of the “boss” fish on each level). Keep up the good work Devs!

Garbage. Lies lies lies! Stupid game. There’s like day timers to limit your fishing. Also it’s just fishing. Like 99% of the time you will play a crappy fishing sim and pull trash from the water on a small map. Very generic. Very very annoying how the people you talk too always say I’m going to do this for you, or show you how to find a real monster, and you do several several several things that are often poorly explained and then he just ignores whatever the reward was suppose to be and forces you to go pull seaweed or something stupid AGAIN! 2 rods, 2 baits, about 20 fish and 50 trash types The “creatures” are locked behind days(literal days) of generic fishing sim trash finding. Booooring It’s not fun. Then even if you try to keep doing what they say, they will hit a HARD timer and simply tell you to come back tomorrow. You have to wait a whole day to get 2 or 3 more stupid lie quests and still NO CREATURES OR WHATEVER THIS STUPID GAME TRIED TO ADVERTISE. It’s not worth your time. Very generic. Play any game on the Apple games pass instead of this please.

Wish there were better explanations.. I really enjoy this game. It is very relaxing just like real fishing. However it’s hard figuring things out sometimes. And as best I can tell there’s nowhere to get help. The notebook gives no explanation for your quest. The only thing it tells you is who the person is and which area they’re in. I don’t know if there are specific ways that are better to fish for creatures or trash as opposed to catching fish. And you’re kinda just left hanging wondering which method you should try. The epic Baits and monster Baits don’t work that I know of. and the fishing poles take no time to break which is very sad considering how much they cost. I like the game but it needs improvement. And I’m sure it will be worked on. I hope. Because even though the fishing experience is relaxing the things that are missing are frustrating.

Needs a lot more.. I got excited when I randomly found this game but so far I am highly disappointed. Leveling up takes so much work. There’s very little to do right off the bat. I use gems for luck but still catch the same fish. Quests are few and far in between. You need wood to make a new area at your dock but you get like 3 a day. I played “Tides, a fishing game” a few months back and that was the game that got me into fishing games but I completed it in a month or 2 and they haven’t updated it or added anything new so I stopped playing. This game needs a lot more to keep players interested. There also needs to be a missions log in your phone to keep track of your current mission/goals. That should of been an obvious feature but it isn’t. Some sales for new players like wood bundles, poles, boats, etc would be a nice feature. I do like there’s no disruptive ads….. I think that’s about it. This game has real potential but right now it’s a flop. Sorry devs.

Could be good. I love the art and most of the features. It got me hooked when i thought it was just a relaxing collection game. Oh no you soon find the gatcha mechanics in the use of fish food to lure in rare and monster fish. Which rarely if ever work. And if you do manage to lure one on your line you had better have the ability to see into the future for the bite. You wont be fast enough to click 90% of the time. Wasted 100’s of gems on those stupid things. You got me devs. What i initially found an awesome relaxing game just ends up frustrating me now. Calming, with hints of eldritch horror. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I downloaded this game. I thought it looked like a fun fishing game, with great graphics, a soothing soundtrack, and an underlying mystery. Those are all true, but I didn’t realise how much I would enjoy just playing this game, cruising on my little boat, and watching the fish swim around. My one piece missing is that you can’t edit what fish are in your aquarium, and you can’t add creatures to it either. I really wanted my fish to have a turtle friend in the aquarium, but that dream has yet to become a reality, because you can’t put turtles in the aquarium. That said, would highly recommend.

FAVORITE GAME. I don’t ever. . And I mean everrrr write reviews on apps. But when I tell y’all this game is so amazing. I’ve been playing it for about 20 hours on and off and I’m obsessed. It has quests that are easy to follow, and you catch fish everywhere. I love the game set-up and I love how you can get new places to fish. The graphics though!!!!! SO BEAUTIFUL. even if you just play to catch fish, and don’t do quests, it’s such a beautiful game to play. The water, the maps, the fish, everything. You can tell a lot of thought was put into this game. The only ONLYYY thing I dislike, is that you have to pay 100 coins every time you go back to the dock. But coins are easily acquired. . Just get the game man. Trust me.

Fun and addicting game. The fact I have my wife playing this game as well is enough to give it five stars! The gameplay, graphics, and ambient music and sound effects are excellent. I find the game relaxing and calming. Well done to the dev and design teams! If I had any advice on a gameplay level it would be useful to have a map for times I forget where the helicopter is or another area, especially on larger areas. Also, the fish index that shows what fish we have caught could use the location that the fish were caught at. Too many times I have a quest to catch a particular fish or creature but have forgotten the area or time of day it is usually found.

I feel like Jeremy Wade!. Normally I do not write reviews but after a couple of weeks of playing this game I had to give the developers praise. Everything is perfect, the art design of the different locations, the plethora of fish to catch, the music etc. I know some people complain about the leveling system but I enjoy the pacing of the game. It’s not too fast but it’s not too slow either. There’s always a reason to log in each day and collect some exp. points and items. It’s relaxing and calms my anxiety and the cherry on top? Trying to catch that elusive monster in each location! I just hope more locations will be added with time. I enjoy this game 100%!

Games peacefulness is unmatched. Played the game the leveling up is kind of slow but I don't know how much the game has to offer. Alas I’ve been playing for three whole days now and I can say it makes my days just that much better. Myself and I’m sure many other people fished a considerable amount and know feeling of not catching anything sheet blows. When you open this game you can just get tight back to back and the little goals makes it all the better for you to go out and slay my people. In the end I’d like to see some more boat upgrades in the boats I want to catch my fish off mega speed boat thank you for the peace.

Good game, but SLOW play. I suppose in the true essence of fishing, this game in entertaining, but slow. I have played it for a week, and still don’t know if there is any true multiplayer aspect to the game, although I can “see” other players. I wish there were more tasks each day. I don’t like that the transition to the next task is basically “come back tomorrow”. I wish there was another/more grindy way to get materials needed to build on the island for those who want to spend a longer time in the game to get more done. Fish types/silhouettes could be a little more obvious in the water too. And, I don’t even know how effective or percentage more effective each rod or fish food is from one another. Overall a good game, with fun graphics and generally fun play, but needs more to actually do and some more explaining/detail within.

Incredible game from a hardcore fisherman!. I actually fish 3-4 times a week. Sometimes more. Open water and ice fishing. I always find time to play a few minutes of this game. Very relaxing and smooth gameplay and the biggest most best part of all, no freakin ads unless you want to for bonus extras. Otherwise, you can play endlessly. I hope this game develops and possibly has mini fishing games or different views while fishing. I have some incredible ideas for some mini games and would love to give my ideas to a game designer. Simply because as a fisherman and a gamer, I know what I would love to occupy my free time with. Excellent game and I hope to try some of your other games.

Needs new content and balancing.. Been playing every day since just a couple days after release. Have purchased several IAPs. Still haven’t caught Shredder. All buildings fully unlocked, all areas unlocked. Frankly it gets boring at this stage. 12 more days until a tournament starts, that’s lame. Progression is painfully slow. This game needs a major update to add new content, needs to expand the existing areas beyond the current boundaries. Needs to pay more for caught fish. A titanium rod should last a lot longer. Day:night cycle seems to run off real time which means you might never have the chance to catch a certain fish based on your schedule. Maybe 4 hours day then 4 hours night would help with that. Basic bait works much better than the nearly useless monster bait. Lots of updates with no details provided and as far as I can tell nothing has actually changed. Must be bug fixes and optimization, but nothing new for the gameplay. I’m less enthusiastic than I was previously. No more purchases until thing improve. Think I’ll delete app and check back in several months.

My Type of Fishing. Yes. It’s slow. It’s peaceful. It’s NOT a complicated fishing game with daily timed rewards, meaningless upgrades, hundreds of buttons, and other players scoring higher than you who pay money for nothing. This is a patient game with beautiful simple frames and objectives that make you come back later. It’s a game you can’t finish quickly and can’t binge to the finish because it runs on its own clock. Gotta fish at night? Come back later. It forces you to put it down and breathe. And the objectives are interesting, puzzling, but not frustrating. I like to think if I made a fishing game, it’d be like this. Well done. Different.

Beautiful in every way!. I don’t usually do reviews, but this game is easily one of my favorites. The art style is fantastic, the music is great, the mechanics are challenging but not impossible, and there is a good deal of progression and enjoyment. This game probably has the best progression I’ve seen of any game. If you’re smart with your money, you can advance pretty quickly, but not quickly enough to just blaze through the game. You get to enjoy discovery in new areas and paying money isn’t required. Heck, I haven’t even had to see any ads besides the optional one for the chest. This really is a wonderful game. The only downside I’ve seen is that it does cost coins to travel to fishing spots so be smart with your money. Making it isn’t hard either, but just be sure you’re not splurging on bait or anything. This game is remarkable!

Very good, some suggestions. I’m giving this game a 5 star rating because it really has no flaws. It’s relaxing, accommodating for seniors, and is just overall relaxing but also competitive. The game has very little micro transactions, so you won’t have to worry about ads and such. The game is immersive and simple, so pretty much anyone can play it. Me and my fiancé even started a clan together and we can join each others world and do competitions together. The last big pro of this game id like to harp on, is that although the game is simple, it never gets boring. There’s so many worlds and fish, and only certain fish appear at certain times of the day. (night or day) I just merely have some suggestions. I’m having a hard time recruiting members into my clan as it’s only ever me and my fiancé in the world. I also wish there was maybe a little more too do, as I basically log on, do my daily quests and get my wood and log off. I’m not bored, I just really want to grind more then I can. The last suggestion i have, is some more customizable things. Like maybe a pet, or trail that you leave in the water would be so cool. Or maybe even special bobbers and effects when you catch a fish! But overall I love this game and I’d recommend it to anyone :) Go USAF!

Great design needs lot of work. I like a lot of aspects of the game, the art style the way to play and the leaderboards. But this game has lots of possibilities. I wish I could play offline because if I am traveling and lose signal for a second the has to reload and most of the time you lose your fish. Wood is too difficult to acquire maybe add a choice to mission if you would like to receive wood or coins. Wish there was a fish leaderboard for more than just the standard fish. Wish you could store one or two rods on you so when a rod breaks you can keep fishing if you don’t want to go straight back to the island to buy a new one. Maybe make your rod more customizable to what you want to catch besides just lures add stats for them some better for catching certain fish. Will update review with more play time. Just finished getting all 15 materials and paying to build it and I have to wait till the next day to use it I don’t like it after waiting to get the materials which took a couple days. I’ve progressed enough in the game to where I want to catch some of the night fish like the legendary fish in the first area but find it difficult because the time for night in the game is not long enough I wish it either started earlier in the day or stays night until late morning currently it is only 8:00 pm to 4:00 am which I feel is way to short please extend night time.

Beautiful game, could use some slight adjustments. Hello i just wanted to start by saying creatures of the deep is a gorgeous game with tons of potential. Because of the slow nature of the game theres a lot of waiting and staring at your phone which becomes grueling on the eyes and a noticeable time commitment. Id definitely suggest some kind of communication like a voice chat thru the radio so people can chat and learn from each other whilst fishing. At the very least a chat system within clans and maybe even a world chat would profit the game substantially. Another aspect that could use a tweak would be the fishing. I find myself squinting at my little bobber for long periods of time waiting for the slightest twitch, some kind of bar above the bobber to show when its getting hit would help and maybe an increased sound for when a fish is hooked. One other aspect of the game that could increase player interaction is a boat upgrade system where you could make your vessel faster moving with sails/ motor upgrades (the sails could also bring a wind system into the game making it like realistic sailing). I find myself deleting and redownloading creatures of the deep coming back for the graphics, design and calmness then leaving for the repetitiveness and time put in for seemingly nothing.

Great game, relaxed pace, but 1 complaint.. Love this game (4 stars), but my only complaint is that gems are very hard to get, and items in the shop that can only be bought with gems are priced way too high. My solution would be to allow any item to be bought with coins (regular/high price) OR gems (maybe discounted price?). That way people who want to buy something sooner can use gems, but casual long-term players can save up coins (by watching ads from the chests, etc) to buy those same items. It would make the game more accessible to people like me (who don’t spend money on games) but still produce ad revenue. Anyways, love the game and its design; great work!

Great game, Missing good features.. I love this game and it shows huge potential. First and foremost the art style of the game is very attention grabbing works perfect for this type of game, I also love the mechanics of the game very simple straight to the point makes it easy for new players to catch on and get it pretty quickly. I can’t wait to sink in more hours. Here’s where I have problems when i’m accepting a quest I find that I kinda just quickly accept and try and go do the quest but forget what i’m doing and can’t see my objectives anywhere like I think the phone is a great place to hold that stuff. Also a MAP would be amazing for where things are at I know that it’s a small playing area but I forget where certain spots are at and would just love to view a map instead of riding around the whole area. Please I beg you guys to continue down a path that isn’t money hungry this game can be amazing if you just take the time and care to develop it the right way and from my own personal experience of game development I see to many games fall crash and burn due to greedy development styles. Take into account what fans want set aside what are actually good ideas and what aren’t. Thanks anyway!

Great game! But have to grind to get anywhere. Love it, very fun and I enjoy playing every day. I would likely play more if there were some updates and I’ve seen other people say similar things in their reviews. -Remove or reduce the $100 to go from the dock yard back to fishing zones, it takes forever to save up any money, and then you have rods break regularly also eating up your money. -Have some way to know what a fish will sell for without having to go to the market. If I want to only bring back my best fish I don’t know what a cod vs a trout will sell for so I don’t know what to keep or drop, it would help to be able to compare ahead of time. -Some way to record or know where to find certain fish, there are too many to keep track of mentally. If there was a way to tag fish to locations or something so I’d know where to go back and fish for them later that would be very useful! All together it’s a really great game, I just wish I was able to make notes or was able to do more with it. I find myself playing for a half hour, getting a little frustrated with the pacing and leaving.

Needs fixing. Need to have the fishing poles last longer, when your basic stick pole last just as long as the 1000 coin one or higher that is a huge problem. I love to fish and I know it’s a game but this isn’t right for a new 1000 coin or higher to break after several catches and it does. I have had my real pole I fish with and it has lasted me for almost 10 yrs and it is of good quality. I know why you do this, but still isn’t right to your consumers. There is circle around your boat as you fish you can’t see the whole circle and you miss the larger fish sometimes. When you do projects in the games to find this or that you can never find what they are asking for, but when your not doing one of those tasks you find them all day long, what gives? Not saying to make it easier, but drop a small hint. Putting these issues aside it is a fun game, if you decide to fix these issues it would be appreciated.

Bugs, Issues & Power Hungry Discord Staff. Constant bugs, from missing prizes and inventory items to issues with build structures being reversed overnight and missing rods. Then discord staff that will BAN you for using “reactions”/emojis they don’t like. Don’t waste you’re time.

Re-downloaded the game and it’s much better :). I downloaded the game a while back but deleted it cause I kept getting bugs and stuff. Now I re-downloaded it and it runs really smoothly on my phone and I have yet to encounter any bugs. Very glad the developers has updated the game cause, overall, I really do enjoy this game a lot and highly recommend ^-^

It looks like so much love and care went into the art style, characters, music and features. I appreciate that. But it kind of stops there. I lost all drive to play this game after finding out you can purchase rare and epic bait with real money. I don’t really see the point in playing if you can just essentially buy rare fish. Why bother with leaderboards when people can just buy there way to the top. Why not just have a monetisation system based around cosmetics? Why not monetise things like the aquarium. I’m sick of pay to win games and this is one of them. Sorry

So just wanted to add that, yes it is pay to play, I tried playing for a whole day without spending real money, and it changed the entire dynamics and feel of the game from fun and engaging to repetitive, bland, slow and boring. Without spending money the progress you make in a week is the equivalent to what you would make in a day if you were to spend money. It’s extremely hard to catch the bigger fish without using the special bait which cost 4 gems. The only time you get gems is when very rarely you get a chest and there’s 1 measly gem in the chest. Maybe 3 times a day if that. 4 gems will last you 2 rounds if you’re lucky. Now the monster bait cost 10 gems. Having to wait until night time, it would take you about 4 days or so just to get 10 gems so you can buy the bait to catch shredder. Otherwise ur relying purely on being at the right place at the right time. And unless you stay up the entire night then the possibility of you catching him/her/it is very low. You can buy 60 gems for $2.99aud. So around 1.99us or somewhere around that. So you can see the difference between spending and spending real money. It totally changes the feel of the game from excellent to average. Not very fair on those who can’t really afford it or don’t know how to steal their parents credit card. Otherwise the game is 5 stars. So fix it, why be that greedy that you feel the need to rip the people off that are supporting your work. Doesn’t make sense. Peace

Poor rewards, waste of time. Used 10+ monster bait to have caught f all. Shredder ridiculously hard to catch, you get .1 sec to react when finally hook, then once hooked even if ya keep in perfect it gets away. Do you think we are formula 1 drivers or something? Who has reactions quick enough for this shi.. Will come back when they do something about it. Until then don’t bother wasting your time. You’ll have better chance seeing a pig fly.

The game looks absolutely beautiful but that’s destroyed by their obvious greed, basically if you aren’t spending money good luck progressing since gold becomes useless fast and gems become the main item for progression (which are the paid currency) hopefully devs listen and actually make it possible to progress without it taking years, also their events and other materials for upgrades are time gated heavily aka you can only collect a few a day which really just kills f2p more since you can’t grind at all to somewhat keep up

Pretty good wee game.. Good game. Really slow paced, which isn’t a bad thing. It’s a simple yet rewarding game. My one complaint would be the acquisition of the gems is too few considering you need them for fishing for the big monster fish. It feels like there’s no way around this without in game purchase which is a shame. Like other games, perhaps there should be the option to watch ads to gain more gems or, the even rarer material, wood.

Best game ever. It was so calming, but also so intense it was so good

It’s Alright, Though they need some improvement. It’s very peaceful and the teams did a great job creating a cozy atmosphere. The art of the fish is a bit cartoonish which I don’t like, but the atmosphere of seeing a large fish underneath your boat is clever. Problem is, catching the monster fish takes forever and the guide to catching it is pretty unclear. Like for example: look for choppy water and bubble? What is a bubble in this game? The game economy feels to slow too, with fish price barely selling, rod kept getting broken, low inventory, and slow exp system. The game is literally wasting your time. You earn probably at best 50-100 net gold per trip, that is small. Also why is there so many locked “upgrades”. So many things require the premium currency and the items sold with it barely matter except inventory upgrade. It’s too greedy. Some things that I would like to see: -Explanation of the roman 1-12 underneath the fish catalog on bestiary - After catching a fish on that area, have that area noted down on bestiary. That way you know where to find that fish next time. If there are multiple, why not make it ???? until you found that spot - Clan and guilds, friends? For Multiplayer purposes - In game way to earn gem or make that you can buy monster bait with coin If you can do this, I’ll definitely recommend jt

Wood. Great game overall only issue I find would be the progression is to slow. Would be nice to be able to gather wood faster.

Great game but grind-ey. I’ve caught everything on the first two maps, caught all the monsters, but still going for what I missed in Costa Rica and alaska. Spent way too much time in Costa Rica trying or the sphere and the spyglass. I’ve never needed to consult a game’s discord for tips as much as this one. And still I can’t net these pieces of trash. So it’s frustrating in that respect. But game looks great, music is nice, mechanics are good. Could be a bit more generous with the baits and gems but that’s free games for you. Not sure how much longer I’m going to continue to cast and reel just to land the anchor for the 1000th time when I just want that damn spyglass or sphere though.

Honestly one of the most responsive companies who are constantly updating and improving the game. Clearly from my initial review I was in withdrawal not being able to play. This is a must play app.

Headdress found only once?. I’m having a blast with this game so far, but I seem to have run into an issue. While I was fishing, I found the Colorful Headress and sold it. Later, I got a quest to return it. I’ve been fishing by the old camp where it ought to be found but cannot find it again. I’ve pulled up a dozen arrows but not another headress. Was this a one time catch? Did I mess it up? Is there not another way to complete the quest?

Hack/Mods. I initially like the game very much! Spent days to fish and spent the whole weekend to get most points for tournament. Unfortunately, I just couldn’t believe that I saw multiple players using hack/mod tools to win those tournaments! A normal play usually spent 5-10 minutes to get one tournament point after certain level. Those hackers gain 15-20 points within the same time period. Please tell me if there is any purpose to play if the game system does not even fair! I tried to report but could not find any link. I truly wish the developer will spend time to return a fair system back to us!

No ads, simple fun :). It’s really peaceful. No PTW, no obnoxious or unexpected ads walls, and no One problem I found was that it gets repetitive. When you begin the game, you’re spending about a week on level one if you’re not playing religiously. Instead, the game should enable users to advance faster early on and have it be increasingly harder and more competitive at higher levels. It is an almost total singleplayer game, but there are opportunities for making users be rewarded more often for their time. Graphics: 10/10 (not too basic, not too complex. Good for a laugh. It’s easy at first, the missions are easy and you catch what they are looking for. After a few days it gets harder and annoying trying to find “garbage bag” for someone, you make no money with garbage. Save you diamonds for the ship upgrades only, the rest of the unlocked area are stupid and who wants to look at displayed fish on a rack or watch them swimming in a tank lol. Delete after a few weeks.

Truly a standout game. Very rarely will I ever write a review for a game, but this is one of those special games where you can tell the developers really enjoyed working on it and poured their hearts into it. The aesthetics and gameplay both shine here, combining a lovely animal crossing-esque simplicity with interesting fishing mechanics. I also love that microtransactions are an afterthought and not what the gameplay is centered around, unlike most games these days. So kudos to the team for that. Top 5 best games personally. I got this game thinking it would be like most games. But this was different, it was relaxing and ad free. Inn my hooked on this game the only thing I don’t find very pleasant is the real time in the days. I like to go to bed earlier than most because of school, so when I looked up tips for the best strategy to catch shredder it said the best time to catch him is around 9-10pm. Other than that I think think game is very under appreciated.

An amazing game ruined by IAPs. It’s a classic tale. A great game destroyed by IAPs, and greed at its core. It’s visually beautiful, has amazing audio, great game mechanics, interesting characters, challenging tasks, and plenty of replay value. Unfortunately, one will make very little progress before being forced to make purchases to proceed, because the games reward system is terribly unbalanced. Simply put, the rewards are not worth the effort. If you have money to spend, you are going to love this game. If you don’t have money to spend, you’ll end up deleting it after a week.

This needs to be FIXED!!. I recently got the game and started the first mission which is catching captains old phone. Which i did, but when i caught it i closed my app because i had to something important and now i cant catch the old phone again. I’ve tried 3 days in a row and still have not caught the phone. It is still marked on the ocean and the captains boat still tells me to grab his phone. This is a pretty unfair bug and frustrates me because i cant even finish the first mission to unlock all the others. Please fix this or if maybe you can erase my data and let me start over that’ll work, if its possible.

Tons of fun. I’ve really enjoyed playing this game so far. Easy but interactive mechanics, fun to drive your boat around and obviously catching the fish. I think it’s paced really well giving you plenty to try to accomplish but then making you wait to progress to far. Idk it just helped me play in moderation which improves the longevity of enjoyment in my opinion. Not like clash of clans where it’s 2 years to upgrade stuff but not like stupid games with a ton of adds that just get boring after 20 minutes. 5 stars isn’t high enough. Really suggest trying it out :)

Was super fun… UNTIL it WASN’T. This game held my attention and was soo fun for quite some time. But, it got old and boring pretty fast. ESPECIALLY since it’s nearly impossible to catch 95% of the fish species in the game. I’ve invested honestly probably close to or just over $100 in this game (I’m quite embarrassed to say the least), and I don’t want to delete this game because of that. Creators: PLEASE update the game w/ new islands, fish, special features. I’m a devoted gamer to this app and would hate to delete it after all I’ve done in the game.

Genuinely Amazing. I was pleasantly surprised by this game. At first, I thought this game would be full of ads and quite boring after a while, similar to hooked. But, it’s not. There are no ads, very fun, and the music is absolutely amazing. There are endless challenges and many vast maps with varieties of fish species. You also get to build up your own island with the coins you earn from fishing! This is not a bot review, and I highly recommend this game, and this is why it earns my five-star review.

I do like this game BUT. I really do enjoy this game but there’s two issues. First of it is such a slow start, I almost quit playing but for a free game I guess that part is understandably. The second part though is what makes people quit playing this game - your rod constantly breaks and it’s impossible to save up enough money for upgrades and etc. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make the rods usable for good once purchasing, have to repurchase rods makes this game not worth it and a waste of time!!

Beautiful!. This game is beautiful! It has a zen vibe to it yet there are tournaments (I haven’t got to yet). I haven’t felt a “pay to win” vibe. You can pay for things to help but it won’t guarantee you catch epic fish. It was very slow and hard to get started but I like that! Only thing I would like is maybe be able to add friends or chat. I have noticed that once in a while I can’t react fast enough to catch a fish… which is not good for my “reel master” progress! I will be checking out more game from this developer! 🥃🐺

Well done. Just started playing this game and there’s a lot more to it than I would have guessed initially. The graphics and art style are really cool. I like solo games but this game is sweet because it has the element of fishing beside other players but you’re completing the tasks on ur own. The missions, plot, environmentally conscious vibe, and plethora of sea creatures to discover all add to making the game more complex and fun. Definitely hooked… lol

Poor tutorials. This game seems to have potential, but it needs a lot more support for the early learner. When I catch fish that Captain Slappy doesn’t want, do I just throw them back? Shouldn’t there be a place to sell them? If these functions don’t come until later … i am not sure how to get through the early gameplay to get to the next level. So far the great graphics and good premise is marred by poor execution of teaching the new player: extremely frustrating so far.

Forced Updates. I’ve never appreciated or liked video games that force updates on the user. This is one of those games. I tried to pop in and play Creatures of the Deep. But the game informed me that I had to update and I could not enter the title without doing so. I don’t care for the reasons of the action. I should be the one who decides when I update and be able to play the game whenever I want to even if I don’t update to the latest build. My reasoning behind this is truly simple. Often times developers remove good features or add really bad ones in game updates. If I’m forced to update the game then I possibly cannot escape the game being ruined by the developer. It’s a very shady tactic I believe to force players to update whether they want to or not.

So relaxing and fun. This game nails a very difficult balance: it’s fun, visually pleasing and sets a custom pace. You play at your own pace: completing goals or simply exploring and enjoying. All we have to do now is wait for the developer to realize how popular it is, swell with greed and start charging a fortune to pass the game. Which is what every single developer, without exception, has done on this platform.

Great so far. I haven't advanced too far but so far this is exactly what I've been looking for in a game. the mechanics are simple but yet theres quests and things you need to collect and even after your quests you can just go to your favorite spot and catch fish to sell at the market on your island. Ill make sure to come back and write another review when i progress further in the story and with the equipment upgrades.

Cute and fun. You can tell that this game was released with intention. They put time and effort into it and it’s so fun !! I love how it’s unlimited and there isn’t a daily limit, I feel like most apps have limits now :’ it’s not impossible to play, it’s for everyone :) and there are no ads from what I remember off the top of my head, which is amazing !! Waste of time. I hope you enjoy waiting 5 minutes for a fish to bite! Then even if you react exactly on time when the rings show youve hooked a fish you can still lose the fish anyways so its pretty much impossible to get better. The reeling reverses occasionally so even if you get the 1 in 100 rare fish you can pose anyways and winning the rare ones is only possible if you have the most expensive rod and even then youll still probably lose unpess you want to spend actual money to afford monster bait. But still youll probably lose the big fish anyways.

Amazing work!. This developer right here just gets it. This is the BEST mobile fishing game that I have ever played. The simplicity of the controls, the beautiful art style, and all the little extras that you unlock along the way ( the aquarium in particular ) kept me coming back day after day. Download this game right now, you will not be disappointed.

Great great game!. Memorable good game! I used to play it in the Nokia era, and then I especially missed the game. I didn't expect you to have a remake, what a surprise! Two small suggestions: 1. increase the places of the fishing rod, so we can buy a variety of fishing rods to use; 2. can u make some weather effects, like rainy or sunny...etc. Finally, I really hope to play the remake of K-Rally and Explode arena! These two are great!

Pretty fun game!. The gameplay is very relaxing, and the luck mechanic makes the game feel less redundant. Also the game not having pop-up adds is very nice! the only complaint is that for the quests I wish you could just keep on playing instead of having to wait until the next day to get the next quest. But overall it is a very well-designed and fun game! I’m only on the first world and it is still very enjoyable!

Needs a lot of work. I’m Impressed!. So, at first my younger sister downloaded this game, and I was like hey, I want it since you have it! So, I got it, and I was like wow, this introduction is interesting! I found out you can even put emojis in your name! Every chance I got, I was one my iPad playing this game! I have never went fishing before, and this was a great start for me! I love how you can discover all kinds of places, and sea animals! It is an amazing game! Please download!

Can it get better than this?. I’m sure there are bugs and stuff but this is a near perfect game in my book. Relaxing and provides just enough excitement to keep it interesting. It makes you curious and explore trying to catch different things. They designed it well where it feels spacious in the water even in my tiny screen. I don’t mind spending some money on this game. Please keep the game going!

Great game but resources could be improved. This game is awesome as a whole. It’s simple but challenging at the same time. Graphics are great. Challenges and storyline could use some improvement. Certain resources are a little too hard to obtain like wood and the other high value resources. Make them more obtainable on our own not by being regulated to a meager daily amount. Video chests should absolutely not have coins in them or at least so little.

Cool Graphics, Sounds & Missions. The only reason i can’t give this a 5 star review is there should be like a map of each area & where you can find fish you need & you don’t get much help. Also, there should be a store at each destination instead of spending half your earned money on the helicopter ride to get back to your destination. Those are my biggest complaints. Otherwise, the graphics are excellent, the music & sound effects & I like the missions to give it more purpose

Creatures of the deep review. Great game overall, but I want you guys to come up with a item shop already and be able to get Money easier than it is already, but also keep the ads on the down low. The main reason that I like this game so much is because it’s about fishing it’s also fun and have quests and missions to solve, the game overall is 9/10 I just want a hood item store that doesn’t cost real money. There’s no forced ads , so you can actually enjoy the game.

I can’t play. I’ve always loved fishing games but this game doesn’t want me to play. I’ve been in the loading screen for around an hour now and it’s still at the very end of the bar but it never finishes. I’ve made sure I’m on a good Wi-Fi connection, I’ve rebooted my phone, I’ve deleted and redownloaded it and it still doesn’t work. Idk what to do but I’m still giving this game 5 stars because this game looks amazing.

very enjoyable!. i may be calling in love with this game. i especially like that i’m not timed and there are goals to be met at your leisure. you never know what you are going to pull up out of the water next! it’s not as easy as it might sound. those fish are clever. it takes some skill to meet your goals. Fun game! the app is very well put together.

Portrait mode more?. So my son and I have been playing this for about two weeks, very fun and cool game. I play on my phone, and only on occasion will it let me view the game in portrait mode (screen vertical). When it works, it's really neat because it zooms in the view to reveal more detail of the graphics, and everything isn't so small. It would be a huge cool thing for it to do that at any time while playing. Still, cool game though still!!!

This is Quality and a relaxing game. As a person who love to go fishing but i cant go to every place/country this makes me look forward for places that i can go and do fishing. Love the game but. Wish you could get wood faster to unlock stuff. Mainly looking for a game to learn more about fish, this is the most fun app I found and the only one that looks worth downloading. Just passed the first map and was fun. I want more inventory space just havent unlocked it yet. Takes awhile and so many things to collect before you can use certain stuff. Hope this game stays updated and continues to improve gameplay

Good but not great. This is a really addictive game! I’ve played a ton of fishing games and this is for sure top 3. I only have a few suggestions. First, make wood easier to collect, have a shop to buy wood, or let players use other materials to build base buildings. It is so frustrating to only get a max of maybe 10 wood a day when camp buildings cost 20, 25, and 30 wood. Second, make a location guide so we know what fish and garbage are. I spent 3 days trying to find one trash item and 5 days trying to find one fish in the starting location. Third, when using bait, I think it should just be applied to your next cast rather than it acting like chum. Maybe the monster one could be chum and maybe be active for 5-10 minutes but cost more. Only getting one cast per bait is not realistic. Besides that it’s a super fun game and I hope you make more maps to play.

Crashes and no in game benefits. Started this game with high hopes. I wanted a slow paced game and this is perfect for that if you can keep it from crashing. In the middle of game play the game will just shut off. Also it seems that the most expensive rod in the game (which is supposed to be better and stronger) breaks twice as often as the pole you begin with. Trying to get ahead with coins to open new areas seems to be a never ending task if you have to continuously buy new rods which are supposed to be the best.

Fishy?. This game is pretty good. I like the graphics the idea and the many different types of fish and landscape. I like how the places change according to the time of day. The only thing I don’t like is that the game is easy but then to keep progressing you have to get a monster and it’s like changing from easy to hard without stopping at normal for a minute. Other than that it’s a pretty good game.

Too slow. The pictures shown for gameplay depict large creatures in vast bodies of water…a very exciting concept. Instead, what you get is hours of frustration catching plastic bags, tires, boring fish, etc. When you do finally get to the point where you can potentially catch a shark with “monster bait” nothing happens. Then you see that the game itself is bait and they’re fishing for your wallet. The game has potential but it gets old quickly after several attempts where it tells you you weren’t quick enough (no matter how quickly you tap). If it’s not fun to catch a tin can when you’re fishing why would I want to do it on my phone?

Great game, better developers. I downloaded this game earlier today and have enjoyed it so far it is slow paced and relaxing while also challenging. What compelled me to write the review was I accidentally bought something leaving me less than 100 coins which is the amount required to head to a location to fish rendering the game useless. The game offered a “thank you for playing” free 10 gems which buys 1000 coins while some would make the player spend money to continue playing.

Look elsewhere.. If you’re looking for a cottagecore, good music fishing game that calms you. You’re halfway there. This is almost it. Your inventory is five. FIVE. You start out on a boat and that’s it. That’s where you stay. Nonexistent storyline, no character development, you’re a male white guy and you’re on an island. Dassit. Your job is to collect wood and different fish to rebuild stuff on your island, oh but your inventory is already full so head back now. Have fun with all those trips. Yawn.

I don’t know how to throw trash away!. I’m only the first It keeps filling my inventory and the only option I have is to throw it back internally the sea. However, I lose Karma points and the game shames me for throwing it into the ocean every time I do it. I don’t want to throw the trash in the ocean either, but the game has left me with no other choice even though I’ve already done maybe 10 different tasks without the game telling me how to get rid of the trash. Although I like the game, I’m losing interest because I feel bad and I’m getting a little frustrated that I have to litter. Haha.

A Very Good game. It’s a really good game. So good I try to get all of my freinds to get the game and this is what I say to them. The games so addicting so fun if you like a tycoon/simulator/adventure/collecting game you’ll love this game it’s so much fun and I can’t get enough but I keep on having to start over on each of my electronics you need to be able to save your data on this game onto other devices so I don’t have to start over when I get another phone.

Suggestions for improvements: I would love it if there is a way to keep more than one fishing rod on the boat (especially when needing a monster one). Very Good Fishing Game. I love this game it is very relaxing and calm. The music especially is calming and nice. I really like when your trying to catch a bigger fish it has a the reel and how much you’re supposed to pull, the music during this is very intense. It would be nice if there was a sound when you get a fish hooked so you can more easily pull it up, because it seems like sometimes a fish is on for a split second and you can’t catch it because by the time you realized it’s hooked it’s already gone. I really recommend this game

5 star but there are some issues. I have been playing creatures of the deep for about 1 week and got to level 4 already, creatures of the deep is a fun and relaxing game but i think you should not have to pay 5000 coins just to get costa rica because you already have to pay 100 coin to get to that place. I also think you should put out more wood ive been trying to get the clan thing built for days now but im only geting 6 pieces of wood a day.

One of my favorites. This game can be a lot of fun. Perfect for wanting to play and just relax on your down time. Game is very peaceful and relaxing The game is relatively new, only out for a couple months. My favorite part is the steady updates ever week. Shows the developers are watching feedback and continuously updating to add new content and update performance and bugs. Can’t wait to see what is in store for future updates.

Absolutely awesome game 5 🌟. Update: after spending 30 gems to get monster fish bait I didn’t even get a chance to catch the bull shark bc it never attracted it. Really well done! Only thing I would say is make the fishing rod have a visible durability meter or something and make getting wood easier. Other than that it’s pretty perfect for me. Keep it up developers!

Lots of potential but needs lots of work. Too S L O W. Why wait a day for everything? Quests? Goid job, now wait a day. Finally saved up the ridiculous amount of coins and wood scraps needed to build a store? Now wait a day. Boo. Too expensive. Net profit per haul is like 25 coins. Helicopter trip is 100 coins. Cheapest rod is 100 coins. Dont get me started on how many stupid pieces of wood you have to find… and don’t watch videos to open chests. I did and got ONE COIN. Funny joke developers! Too much junk. Should be called ‘Trash of the Deep’ as there is way more trash than fish. Why? Too finicky. Sometimes a fish (or more likely a tin can) will just sit there on the hook waiting for you to reel it in and other times you need LIGHTNING FAST REFLEXES to catch something (most likely a deflated basketball). There you go. Beautiful game. Has tons of potential but (so far) poorly executed.

Great game needs more instructions. Ive been playing this game for more than a handful of hours and I once caught something that required me to reel. I had no clue what I was suppose to do and before I really had a chance to figure it out I had lost the fish. Ive only caught this fish once in many hours. Just add like a popup screen the first time you catch whatever I caught that tells you what to do and then you exit the popup and try to catch whatever it was.

Love this game!. Relaxing and captivating at the same time. Large maps, soothing music and sounds. The side missions give me plenty to do each day. Perfect for winding down from work, helps me stop/avoid social media scrolling before bed. Five stars for a very cool free game with no ads. I have now been playing a few months and have spent about $15 in the app, but you don’t have to pay to play, and *no ads* is just the best thing about it honestly! Have to spend gems to increase carry capacity. While the game does give you some small amount of gems for achievements, the bottleneck that slows things down too much, being the cargo hold which is 5 fish, costs gems to increase capacity with no coin option to buy capacity. Gem usage for boat and character cosmetics is fine, but not for a such a limiting thing as cargo space. It just slows the game down way too much having to run to dock that often. The game was fun until I finished getting the dock built and found out I couldn’t increase my cargo space easily.

Really enjoyable, lots of potential. Fun game, typical quests/missions. I do really wish that you were actually fishing with real people and could talk, ask questions and tell stories with each other on a server. I do get really tired of these mobile games faking real players in game. It’s always obvious, poor effort and tells me the developers are unable to produce this great atmosphere alongside true online multiplayer. This has fantastic potential, with true online multiplayer, communication and continuous updates it'd be great. I don’t mind throwing occasional money at something like this and already have Keep up the great work and hopefully make this a true multiplayer game experience soon. Money would be pouring in, and the players would enjoy real challenges, communication and yes some silliness
