Good game fun concept.. Like I said it’s a fun game it has a good concept behind it but wow it needs alot of work. I don’t like the idea part where if you walk up to close to anything like buying or building it takes it right away. Need some kind of conformation stating that’s what you want to do. The trees i probably wouldn’t need to do it to but the rest a definite. Also 9/10 when I go into an “ad” either for something or just an ad the game always crashes. It’s a shame because I won’t be playing it till at least the crashes get fixed, kind of annoying when you see something fall from a tree and your guy picks it up you know the game is going to crash. That’s the only reason why I give it a one star

Would have been great. This honestly looked fun so I loaded it and started playing. Get things figured out and it’s commercial spam galore. I check the shop to see a $15 axe which is ridiculous, $5 skin ok ya I’d buy it but the add removal is temporary. I was honestly looking for something like this to play around with, just wish this was it. I’ve uninstalled the game again due to way to many ads even for a free game. You get a choice on some even clicking “no thanks” takes you directly to an ad. I woulda payed $3 for no ads unless I selected for upgrading character. I would have paid 5 bucks for the skin and even another 5 for the golden axe. Monthly skin for 5 bucks, why not. Pick an chose your points for money making because it’s completely wrong on this one. I woulda dropped 20 a month or more if it was something I wanted, no I’m spending zero.

Crashes too often. It looks like a fun game, and what little I’ve been able to play I’ve actually enjoyed. The problem is that I’m playing and then I stumble spin one of two power ups (I don’t know how many are in total, I’m only on island three). What are the power ups? Golden axe and big axe. What do they do? Nary a clue! Why? Because in order to activate the power up you need to watch an ad. No biggie, devs need to make bread too, so I watch the ad; except, half way through the ad the game crashes and I’m staring at my Home Screen. I load the game again and find out I do not have said power up. So I go on my way trying to avoid the power ups. I actually hit one and press do not power up, guess what: IT PLAYS AN AD ANYWAYS!!! App crashes, and I’m back to square one.

Why please just why. So I have been playing this game for about 2 weeks now and I hit a major milestone while waiting for the next update. I hit 2 billion coins. Now normally this would be awesome but the game reset my coins right as I hit it. This game has bugs and glitches but it is fun. And can break your heart devs or whatever please return my coins I have watched over 100 ads for them. Edit: My 2 billion coins were removed but I still get about 250m from each pot of gold which I can then watch an ad to double. So it’s not that big a deal just kinda sad that I hit the limit.

Not a bad little time waster. If you have nothing better to do and need to waste some time, this is a game to do it on. Some issues I have with the game. If you have a purchase item that says skips all ads, it should skip all ads to include the bonus ones. I feel I got ripped off for buying it. You should either put a rapid button on the upgrades or allow you to upgrade more than one level at a time say in 10s or 100s.

Ads crash app. Tons of ads. Every ad crashes the app and starts you back at the start of the world. Turning off internet means no crashing but can’t get to one part of every world because you must watch an ad to access it, which crashes the game. I’m fine watching ads for a free game but looks like this one, and many others from this developer, have problems with ad support. Reading the comments, paying to remove ads doesn't even remove all, or even most of the ads. This needs work. Not spending more time on it. Thanks for replying. No thanks to your, “we need ads to make money” excuses and no real response to the issue that ads crash the game. Guess your just a scam against those paying for ads since the ad is never actually even seen.

Please read!!. First off I don’t hate the game I actually grind it for about 50 minutes and I’m already done The first island/map and I had the Wi-Fi turned off so I didn’t have to deal with ads and so I decided hey why don’t I try the gold axe when it pops up so I turned on my Wi-Fi and went to try and get the golden axe so I got the gold and ask but when I did the ad to get it when I finish the ad I ended up getting kicked off the game onto my home screen and did not get the golden ax and it did this with every single Axe and money bag (UPDATE ) This is still happening I do not know why just be warned and developers try and fix this please it’s really big issue for me at least. ⚠️also if you are reading this anybody who wants to get this app and have seen the bad reviews if they actually try turning off their Wi-Fi on their iPad or phone they wouldn’t have to deal with the ads are you need to do is just turn off the Wi-Fi and you won’t get the ads because adds need Internet to run ⚠️

Privacy policy. I downloaded the game because it sounded fun. Then once i wanted to started they asked for consent to approve to use my personal data. When i clicked on the privacy consent to see what they are going to use, I discovered that they will be useing my name, my linkedin account information including my position and my cover letter and some really personal information about my work. I don't approve of this! A game has nothing to do with this data and I wouldn't recommend anyone playing this and get their personal information out there for God knows who to use. Be careful out there and pay attention to privacy consents sometimes people agree on giving information that will make it where you mo longer have freedom or privacy. Its a shame!

Really fun game. The useless buildings help you level up but please make it to where you can interact with the useless buildings and please make it to where you can change your character color and maybe some free clothes to. Besides that it’s really fun but make it to where you can get different axes that are different colors that you can buy from the shop with in game coins please. Also can you make a pet that you can get with in game coins and without VIP and make it to where the pet would give you like some kind of boost. This is a great free game!!!👍🤩😄:) :) :)

Waaaaayyy too many ads. I’ve played so many games from the App Store and this game has to be one of the worst games for ads. It felt like every few seconds I was in another ad and they aren’t all easily skips or ones. Most of them are 30 second ads you have to wait to the end for. Makes the game unplayable in my opinion. What I did get to play seemed fun, but not enough to endure the ads. **update and response to developers - I understand ads are a part of the game. I’ve downloaded so many games. I’m one of those that sees an interesting game in an ad and downloads to try it (how I found your game), but this game has more ads than any other game I’ve played. I get maybe a solid minute or two of gameplay before I’m getting hit with a 30 second unskippable ad.

Great…. BUT. I absolutely have loved this game since I found it. I’ve had it months now… and though it is amazing I came when the game was brand new and got through all I could within a few hours. A few weeks later a new update came out and the new features.. bing so excited I completed very thing again within a day.. I had purchased the no adds and it is wonderful! my thing is.. WHY WOULD ANYONE SUBSCRIBE? You’d be paying 100$ for a year where you only get a new land once every few months and not much game play to get through besides a few hours.. I give the actual game a complete 5 stars! BUT can only actually give a 3 because I’ve only been able to play twice! :( *is eagerly waiting new update*

Rip-off!. I was playing the game,(this has happened multiple times) and the offer for infinite damage came up, and I had to watch a video to get it, which I totally understand, but when I said “No Thanks”, it made me watch an ad anyway. Even worse, I didn’t get Infinite damage! When the ad was over, my character had walked to the edge of the island and was wasting ALL of my money. The game isn’t a bad game, but it’s kinda boring. You should be able to do more in it. Please fix the ad thing and make it so when you’re watching an ad your character doesn’t move. Overall, the game should get a solid 3 star rating. Thanks!

AMAZING but uhhh… improvements are requested.🥳🥳🥳😑😑😑. I’m loving this game and I just got over 10k wood in just 2 days and over 5k coins in 2 days too! But all people including me say, LESS ADVERTISEMENTS! Idk why it has sooo many ads, but it repeats the same ad over and over and there are: drumroll…….. POP UP ADVERTISEMENTS! Love the game, new levels?. This game is fun and easy to pass time with… However being maxed out on World 10 has left me stuck and not able to play much anymore. I have upgraded all of the possible upgrades so far that it makes it hard to exchange wood for coins to buy more upgrades. (because the amount of time it takes to sit and exchange the wood for such a low coin count makes it nearly impossible to continue) when will new worlds be added??

Great game but some things annoy me. OMG I love this game but I have two things that annoy me in the game one isn’t that annoying but still annoying it’s all the adds! I’m still a bit young and my parents won’t let me use the add blocker 9n games so I can’t do it :( the next thing is what annoys me the most that I wish there was a log collector button or a put away axe button so you can collect the logs you chopped done from the trees also can you like grow the trees or plant the trees cause I don’t like them just popping up all the time. Please change these things that annoy me also I love the game just I hate these things that annoy me. P.S. please respond or read this message and change these things

Nearly unplayable. It would be fun if there wasn’t a glitchy ad every 30 seconds that you have to close the app and reopen just to keep playing. That’s not including the amount of times it locks up. Cool idea, awful implementation. I would really love to enjoy this game if I could play it for more than 30 seconds. Not worth the attempt to play until they figure out the bugs. Update: pretty much nearly unplayable. I’ve tried on two different OSs and I still have to kill the app off in order to get anywhere. The constant 30 second ad time would be a little more understandable if you didn’t spend more time troubleshooting the ads instead of closing them out when the availability to do so was there. I think the game is great, as far as the concept, but having to deal with all of that garbage has driven me towards moving on from it. The game freezes the majority of the time when trying to accomplish basic tasks like chopping for lumber or updating a station.. please, please fix it because I would love to enjoy this game, but when it freezes on multiple iOSs and phones with different iOSs, I am sad

Some good some bad some confusing. I saw this game i clicked on it and watched the ad. It looked good so i got it. Its a good game. I have a few things to make it better. 1st i try to watch an ad to get the gold axe. Then when im done with the video it closed the app. It only does this 1 out of a few times. 2nd So on to the buildings i agree with some poeple even though you did fix the “buildings have no purpose “ problem its still really bad. Almost no buildings have a purpose and the ones that do are upgrades (really helps don’t change that part) and these wood ones. Those are the confusing ones. See they say 0/50 or 0/100 and i thought i had to use the wood to build something else. But no it was just giving it to me. At first i thought it was a glitch. I closed the game and went back in. It still was happening. Then I finally realized,thats not it. How? I was going to do somthing then i came back and i saw it go from 34/50 to 35/50 i then went to it. Really i would just like to change that and the upgrades to be less expensive and better upgrades. Or you cpuld add more i would ask you to do that. I dont want players to confuse themselves like i did. I wont delete the game i just will stop playing till you at least try to fix that. This took me almost 30 minutes to write. Very Entertaining with a Few Problems. This is a very fun game. It is entertaining in many ways. I love the whole idea of a game where you pick up wood, build things, and expand your island. However, there are a few problems. First of all, it is hard to control the person. I also can’t control if I cut down trees or not. Second of all, I do not like that you have to cut down the trees and then pick up the wood. I think it would be better if the wood automatically was picked up when you cut down the tree. Finally, there are a lot of trees and it is hard pick up the pieces of wood without just cutting down another tree. Overall, this is a very good game, but it could be made better.

Unplayable.. You need a jail broken device with a free adblock to justify downloading this. They constantly have items pop up in your face saying “make it easier? watch an ad!” Every time you exit your tent to look to see if you have enough gold for an upgrade? Thats another ad. Reject offer to watch an ad to upgrade your stuff? Yes, even then thats an ad. And even after all that, lets say you somehow avoid everything, the game gives an ad every 20 seconds, 3 ads for every minute of gameplay. And the ads have terrible volume issues as well which made it even worse, but thats besides the point.

Love the game, hate the performance. The game is great. I love small games that I can almost idle play. I have ADD and games like this give me something to do with my hands that feels like it’s actually going towards improving something. I’ve gotten everything done that I can so far, waiting on the 4th world to open up now. Love the game. Unfortunately though, the performance isn’t the best on my iPhone X. I’ll play for maybe 5 minutes and then my phone gets really warm to the point where my screen dims and the game becomes a slideshow. If I’m just standing there it’s fine, but once I run it gets bad, and when I’m actually chopping trees it’s horrific. The absolute best thing this game could benefit from right now is some optimization, though I’m not sure what the developers long term intentions are with this game, or if there are any at all. Overall, I give it a 4/5 because it just misses the mark with performance. I can forgive it not having a ton of gameplay right now, it’s a new game with 3d elements, but I can’t forgive the performance issues while there’s still so little in the game.

More levels?. “I hit the last level and when I go to go to the next it says “Coming soon”. The last level I can play is level 10. When will the game be updated and more levels be added?” This is still going on I would really like to play more levels cause right now all I can do is upgrade myself, and other things… it’s becoming boring being stuck on one level that is finished and all you can do is upgrade, all my loggers are high up in the upgrade and it keeps going higher so there must be more levels to come or coming but I’ve been stuck on level 10 for over almost a month and it’s gotten to the point that I don’t log in everyday now… please update the game or let everyone know if there is or isn’t anymore levels.

I Gave A 4 Cause.... I like the game, but there’s a few hinges. #1 the first experience these axes kept popping up, witch they still do but the point is that you couldn't say no. Every minute I had to watch a commercial. With if you don't know witch you probably don't cause to you I’m a stranger on the internet but um the point is that I hate hate hate hate hate commercials. #2 I felt like it would have been better. But that’s just how I feel if you feel different then that’s fine

Ads, ads, and more ads.. The game is utterly ad based and balanced largely around them. You'll spend more than half your time watching ads if you follow the game's flow, and they don't even care if you have internet or not. I downloaded this for a road trip and was spammed by it making me click no on "watch this ad!" notifications where I literally wasn't able to due to no internet. Pair this with frustrating controls and some horrible "Quality of Life" features that somehow WORSEN your experience and you've got a massive disappointment. Balanced around paying 5 bucks or so with no care for F2P, they should've just made it a purchase app instead.

Do NOT waste your time. There’s so many adds it’s practically unplayable. Chop down a tree and it’ll almost always drop something that requires watching an add to use and it’ll play that add even if you say “no thanks” to the item. It’s almost impossible to avoid running into the dropped items as well so basically every other tree you have to watch an add. Then there’s the buildings. As usual half the time you visit one it’ll play an add. So basically anytime you do anything it’s a 50/50 shot of getting an add. Which ends up being about 20 seconds of playtime between adds. Just don’t download it. It’s a waste of storage space (Also to that one review that said turn on airplane mode. I tried. It STILL plays adds)

It was fun. I have had the game installed for about a year now and had fun playing and watching the devs update the game. So much so I show my support by purchasing the remove ads. But the last updates became greedy money grabbing. It’s not the same game anymore. They stopped adding new islands and stopped adding upgrades. I’ve been at the final island for over 6 months waiting for the coming soon sign to come down watching as they have instead added more in app purchases and a subscription system. It really is sad to see people make a fun time waster and turn it into a scam in the end.

Only 2 worlds?. This game is very simple and easy going. You chop down trees, build stuff, trade in wood for money, and buy areas. I give this game 3 stars because after I spent REAL money to get rid of the ads, expecting this game had more to it to keep me around longer, I maxed out at level 8 and have unlocked all areas and built all buildings. The last thing I built was the ship and when I try to get on the ship the same way you get on the boat to go back and forth from world 1-2, it says “coming soon...” with no options other than to press X on the message. At this point I aimlessly run around cutting trees and collecting wood on the buildings that automatically gain wood just to see how much money I can get. I tried looking up when they’re unlocking more worlds and nothing comes up? Point is, I want to know if it’s coming soon because I’m getting bored and have an insane amount of money for apparently no reason. I even watch the ads to get the gold axe from boredom. Someone let me know.

I’m kind of annoyed.. I like the game. I like it enough that I paid to remove ads. In any other game I’ve done that, it could really towards optional ads you choose to watch for rewards as well, but apparently not here, I still have to watch those ads to get the things they offer. Normally this wouldn’t be a big deal, but before I bought it, if you asked me “Hey, you want to watch an ad for the chance to use the golden ax for one minute?” and I clicked NO, you’d STILL make me watch an ad anyway and I wouldn’t even get the ax. So you made me pay you just so you’d stop screwing me over, but I still have to watch the regular ads to get stuff or double it. It’s annoying only because you would make me watch the ad either way, and that stupid ad that pops up when I click NO on the options was the only ad you took away. You made me pay you to remove ads that shouldn’t have been shoved down my throat in the first place because I clearly said no when I was asked if I wanted to watch one.

A fun time waster for a week.. It’s fun to waste time on this game for a couple of days. Then you finish world 10 and have nothing to do. It’s got about 3-4 days worth of gameplay by the time you get here, and I don’t mean continuous game play. There’s an upgrade spot where you can upgrade skills and other things. I guess after you clear world 10 this is where you spend the rest of your game time, just maxing out stats. If that’s even possible. The boat to world 11 says “coming soon” so you could just level up until the next patch comes out.

Lost potential. I wanted to keep liking this game, I really did…but being forced to watch an ad every 30 seconds ruined it for me. The game isn’t old enough to tolerate my device overheating or the app quitting or my device slowing WAY down since installing this game… Update: I removed this app along with all others from this producer, & what do you know, my iPad is fine. No more overheating, no blown out RAM…for a minute I thought I’d be replacing my iPad because I can’t explicitly prove it was this app causing the problem…iPad is back to normal & performing beautifully. Seriously, all I did was remove this app. I’m not willing to risk any permanent damage to my devices, I would advise the same to everyone else. This game isn’t anywhere near good enough for that. And yet another update: I paid to have no ads…I’m still seeing ads when I shouldn’t be. So yeah. Money for nothing for the developer. I know it’s not much, but if I’m giving some of what little money I have on a game, I need them to keep their word. DO NOT PAY FOR TO HAVE THE ADS REMOVED! THEY WILL CONTINUE TO RUN AS MUCH AS BEFORE.

Paid to rid game of Ad’s, still getting Ad’s 🤷🏽‍♀️. I paid the $2.99 to remove the incredibly annoying multitude of ad’s and I have yet to be able to complete anything without an ad being removed. Everything that entails watching an ad has yet to be bypassed. I will give it 2 weeks before I report it to Apple, request a refund and remove the app. By the way there is no contact option anywhere in the app to reach out to a developer. Unless I’m mistaken and cannot find this option within the app. This is very unusual. How else can you report any issues that you face to the developers? Hopefully it’s just a glitch and will be updated soon. When it happens I will update my review. It is a rather addicting and fun app nonetheless.

Crash, Crash, Crash.. Remember in the new Aladdin when genie is complaining about the inside of the lamp? “Brass, brass, brass, ooo is that some copper? Nope, brass!” Change two letters and it’s basically my experience, “Crash, crash, crash, ooo is that the game working? Nope, crash!” Want to watch an ad for an upgrade? Crash. Want to stack upgrades? Crash! Don’t want to watch an ad because you know that means a crash? Too bad! Ad…crash! Yeah, this would be a fun low-stress game if they would just fix their…[crash]. Sorry, had to reboot the app and just lost all of my up…[crash]. Sigh…[crash].

It’s fun but.... It was a fun game at first but then it started getting hard to get cash which is normal but then it started getting boring because it was mostly just chopping down trees too get enough money and it was not fun anymore. So what I am trying to say is it is fun at the beginning but then it gets boring like really boring so if you like to spend hours doing the same thing it is a good game for you but if you like doing many different things for hours then maybe find a different game that has more stuff going on but it is a good game otherwise.

Ads on top of ads... and bugged math. I can’t approve of a game with so many ads... even when you decline the option to get a power up, you usually still get an ad. For real. There are a lot more than 2 “worlds”... I plowed through 12 levels over night, so I can say I gave it a fair shake. Even the math is buggy, with inconsistent use of gain indicators. Worse, the game tricks you into building useless ornamental buildings/items, which don’t do anything. Good for small children, who won’t notice or care about the above... just convince them that chopping wood is fun. It isn’t.

Good Game. I’ve been a gamer since Atari 1600, this game is a big step from that, and I understand free to play, but when you offer boosts for a minute it would be nice to not have another commercial during that minute. This game does have forced commercials. So it’s better to just take the bonus or the boost. Still a good game but it seems the commercials interrupt the fun of having an activated boost. It’s free to play but interrupting the boost is kind of a let down. Good game still and it’s fun too uncover and unlock the different aspects of the game.

Honest review. Craft island is a great small indie game. It’s simple enough for kids to use and be entertained as well as adults to pass time. Since it is an indie game on the market today there are ads, a lot of ads, but that can be bypassed with a $0.99 purchase or just using airplane mode. So far there are 3 power ups you can find in game that might prompt an ad watch: the golden axe, the big axe, and the pot of gold. The golden axe will give you unlimited damage allowing you to knock all trees down with one swipe, which is useful. The big axe allows you to reach further so you can chop more trees at once. And the pot of gold gives you extra gold with the ad watch giving you double the amount given. So far there are two worlds to explore and upgrade with increasing levels of trees so wood gathering isn’t too tedious. Though they’re fairly easy to beat, I’ve only had the game for 3 days and I’ve been able to get the maximum upgrades on all my shops, tools, and houses as well as unlock every piece of the island. I can see this game is very new but I’d love to see it grow into something even better, possibly add character customization or character upgrades other than just the axe. Over all a good game but the ads can also pop up even when you deny the power up so that’s why the one less star.

This game is great.. I enjoyed each level, even though some of it is a little boring. It’s great for kids, and I like to play it when there are updates to it. There isn’t much content at the moment, but in like a year, this game could be much better. There are quite a few ads yes, but turning airplane mode on, completely removed the ads it forces you to watch. So in an area with no service, you can still play this game just fine. The only reason I gave it four stars is lack of content at release, and the ads it forces you to watch. But it’s not too bad with the ads.

Too many adds at wrong times!. This game’s idea is really cool but there are too many adds! In the middle of the game randomly a add that takes so long shows up, there are items (axes) for you to pick up and there is the choice to select to not watch an add, but either you click “no thanks” or “watch an add” the add will show up and take forever! And sometimes you click “watch add” and the game crashes at the end of the add and when you get to the game again, the thing you got from the add didn’t show up, or you didn’t win your “you can choose if you want to” item! I like the game (at least the idea” but put many less adds! There are more adds than game itself; and with a game like this, I don’t trust buying the “free adds” version! If you wanna play, try finding a different one, please! I am uninstalling this right now! Thanks for this “good” game!

Please please please. Please add monsters/enemies to fight. An armor vendor and skill to go with the leveling portion of the game. I love the concept of the game so fare. If you really wanted to take this game to a whole other level add some sort of multiplayer aspect to the game. Perhaps it could be a multiplayer map where you chop down trees to build towers to defend your territory while you try and kill their main base on the map. You could also build huts the send out repair guys to repair you buildings and another hut the sends out fighters. Those are just some quick ideas. What ever you do please add more.

Almost perfect game. Everything the game has to offer is perfectly fine. My only small complaints have to do with stuff that can be added. I think some aesthetic choice would be a really cool addition. I’ve honestly gotten to the point where I am making enough money that I’m absentmindedly buying tons of upgrades without having to worry about running out so having to invest some of that money into pricey skins would be good. Also, speaking of upgrades, I think there should be a mechanic added where if you hold down on the upgrade button it will do rapid upgrades because I’ve had times when I had to press the upgrade button tens or hundreds of times. Lastly, I think it’s really cool that we can build tons of different things but none of them hold any purpose. I think it would be really cool to have more functioning buildings.

Great game! Have a recommendation!. This game is soooo fun and relaxing, just running around your little guy is sooooo satisfying and I really like the idea that you can expand your land with coins you can exchange for logs! My recommendation is about the yellow skin. The character in-game is just a plain yellow skin, I was thinking with coins, you could go and buy different skins for you character, and maybe even the axe! Overall the game is amazing, but I think it could be better with my recommendation!

Great game just new. So i got this game 2 days ago and i instantly fell in love with the simple concept and how i could relax while playing it. i only am giving it 4/5 stars for a few reasons. First, my phone gets extremely hot when i play this game and i don't really know why. Second, this game is new so i understand not having everything released but i've hit the max level and world three fairly quickly. after i bought everything and essentially beat the game i still continued to gather wood just to keep playing more, BUT the pot of gold you get from chopping trees is a little over powered. I have like 316 billion gold and 3.4 million wood and when i get a pot of gold it's just like oh here's 120 million more gold which is just insane. finally, can those useless buildings get some purpose? all in all i really love the game! get those updates out quicker because i want to see more!!

ads ads ads ads ads ads. OK so I will start to say that this game is great, it has a great idea and the game overall just came together really great. But everyone who plays the game knows that every 30 seconds golden ax or with an ax pops up and ask you to watch an ad to get it, and you also have the option to click no. But when I click no, it still puts me in an ad and this happens every 30 seconds. It also is quite hard to get money but I don’t mind that because it gives the game more challenge and makes it more fun and just makes me wanna play more. But the ads are way too many you have to continuously be getting interrupted and if we could just enjoy the game without the ads that would be great. but seriously, why ask me if I want to watch an ad to get it if I’m gonna have to watch it anyway. Where is your support?. I enjoy playing Craft Island. It passes the time and to be honest is kind of addictive. The problem is that there is only 6 worlds. I have tried to contact developer support but there is no where in the app or on the developers website. I could be wrong, I could be overlooking. 6 worlds? I literally only play this game once I put my children to bed, and its taken me two nights to complete it.... tell me this is a software issue. I have ensured that I am on the latest version of the App. A response from the developer would be great and then I will update my review to 5 stars once the problem is resolved. A resolution is not deleting the app and starting over which wouldn’t take long but still that’s not my point. I look forward to hearing from someone soon.

Entertaining. Game doesn’t have a ton to it but it kept me entertained for a good few hours. I just finished world 10 (currently the highest) and here is my feedback: As I mentioned it’s pretty entertaining but not too much of a point to it. The time it take to get through each island isn’t too long so it stays rewarding in that sense. The ads are a bit overwhelming. There are a few times when ads are random and then sometimes you can choose to watch an ad to get a bonus. In the bonus cases, even when you say no it plays an ad. Would love to see some more customization. Potentially to the character or something like a home island that you can build on how you like. Overall it’s a good start but I hope more is added and the ads could decrease a bit.

EDIT: ADVERTS RUINED GAME. Fun, if short.. EDIT: Review changed to 1-star. I paid to have ads removed, which was fine until a fairly recent update. Occasionally now, a “click for ad” button appears directly where your thumb goes to control the player, basically forcing an ad. Developers, I gave you money not to do that to me. Thank you for being greedy. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I really enjoy this game and have played through it a couple of times. It’s a nice time-killer and lets me get out of my head. I’d say the $0.99 ad-remover is worth it, even though you still have to watch ads for the power ups and extra islands. However, I would not recommend buying the VIP pass. You can 100% complete this game in an afternoon without it, so spending $6/week seems silly. I’d give it 5 stars if it were longer. So far, only 10 levels and it’s been that was for weeks despite it saying the next level is “coming soon.”

Fun game but…. If you are on the last map it get really boring you just get wood then convert that into money so you can buy stuff to get you more wood. I think there should be more mechanics to the game because it’s just the same thing over and over again. Also ADD NEW WORLDS. I’ve been stuck at the last world world for over 9 months, you will lose your players but you don’t care. There are tons of reviews asking you to fix or add something but the last update you has was 7 months ago. People asking you to lower the ads. Haven’t been lowered. People asking for more worlds. Still 10 worlds. I’m sick and tired of going back into this game to see if you fixed it. Please add more things or lose players like me.

Fun and Relaxing. I’ve really enjoyed this game and appreciate the developers’ speed in responding to player feedback. It’s well worth the modest price of permanent ad removal. It’s relaxing—no time trials, no unnecessary obstacles to progress like limited lives/energy, and no stress of battling enemies. It’s a similar vibe to Animal Crossing without being overwhelming with too many tasks to complete. I’m really looking forward to more worlds. If I could ask for one feature, it would be to be able to reset game progress within the game or in game settings. While worlds are understandably still limited, it would be great to be able to start over and keep playing without having to delete and redownload the app. Thanks for the fun game!

Levels. Devs pay attention.. The game runs good. It drains battery pretty quickly but who the heck cares? Anyways we need a quicker way to sell logs. I spend over an hour trying to sell lots to upgrade 7mil upgrades and it’s honestly making me not want to play anymore. I have way over 20g in logs and I don’t have time to waste let’s get these new levels with harder things to do bigger plots of land and a more quicker way to sell logs. I don’t want to go in myself and edit my coin values so please give me better options to do this in game

Game is great but there are some things i don’t like. I’ve played this game for a while and it’s really fun, better than a lot of games I played. However, you would spend 10 minutes of just selling even in the 6th island and that’s kinda annoying. Also there are a ton of ads in this game which can get annoying from time to time but you can use airplane mode to turn them off thankfully... I also would say that this game is easier than others because of the Golden axe/ one hit axe which get you wood crazy fast which is kinda fun but I blew threw this game in a few days mainly because of it. I would still definitely buy this just keep in mind some of this disadvantages. Note To Developers: Try to make it less long to sell your wood because it can get very annoying. Also don’t have an ad after you no thanks an item cause thats just really annoying. But other than that keep the game up and fun for us, thank you

Not bad. I bought the 6 hour no adds + the 2 axes for 99 cents and completed everything there is to do up to map 10. That’s all there is 10 maps with “coming soon” for map 11. I’ve upgrade everything in the upgrade station to 1000+ a couple to 4000+. That’s like 15,000 clicks. I have plenty of money to continue the upgrade but there is no real point and I don’t think my thumbs cam take anymore. I’ll continue to play as new maps are released, I hope they will add a faster way to upgrade.

great game, defs worth a download. Fun grinding game, defs worth to get to kill some time - would’ve got 5 stars but there are just too many ads.. sometimes you just do a random upgrade and you get an unecessary ad.. the ads would be worth watching too for say the golden axe/long axe if it was longer than a minute of boost that you get. More upgrades should be out for other builds, like the water fountain or the watermill etc. Like a previous review, the cut of how many logs you get per tree should be alot less but still enjoyable otherwise it’s too easy to finish the levels.. the whole game to current update was finished in little less than two hours, although I felt like I was watching more ads than I was playing the game. Aside this, good concept of a game - keep it up guys!

Stupid amount of ads even when you pay for no ads. I paid for 6 hours of no ads and still got forced to watch ads to open new areas. There was no bonus in paying fo no ads because if you want to upgrade without cash even you still have to watch ads. Game is deleted

Also unlimited cap on earning gold and wood, currently my characters level is maxed out and the gold is maxed out and no more levels are available... after paying to remove ads, it’s annoying that I was able to complete all levels within a short timeframe.

Scam?. Found it interesting that to start playing you had to agree to 2 different statements that you are fine with them collecting your personal data. Instantly deleted the app off of my phone when I saw that.

Good game to pass time. It was really fun to play, good progression and flow. Nice animation. Needs to have more levels. Maybe lessen the amount of wood received from trees and therefore the amount of money things are worth so there is more room for improvement for latter levels. Recommended to play to pass time.

Decent time waster but…. Don’t waste your money on subscriptions! A young game, but I would have hoped that there would have been more than 10 worlds. Only took a couple days to get through the entire thing. As for the ads… They are excessive but you can avoid them completely by allowing one ad to play while on cellular data and then turning off cellular data usage for the app and relaunching it. Hopefully future updates will take care of things like not being able to buy multiple upgrades at once. Tapping the upgrade thousands off times is tedious and unnecessary

LOL the ads.... 1 ad per 30 seconds.. Note: I paid the $3.99CAD to REMOVE ADS. This is available in the shop. I STILL GET ADS AND FORCED TO WATCH IT. At best, this game is a 15-20min time killer but the amount of ads coming in every 30secs (or less depending on how fast you chop a tree down) is ridiculous. Devs get monetary compensation via consumers being forced to watch an ad, and they still want a $23/mo or $125/yr subscription (these are CAD prices as they did list USD prices on the app description). $125/yr...? To run around and chop virltual, in-game trees...? LOL. The services being offered through the subscription are mediocre at best. When you do watch the ad, there's no significant change between your gameplay before watching the ad, and after watching the ad. If anything, there's no guarantee that what you're going to even get what you've paid for. It makes no sense to pay for a subscription service when the player hasn't experienced a sample of what they will expect to receive. Also looks like the $3.99CAD remove ads option through the shop is also a HUGE MONEY GRAB. It doesn't work and it was probably designed as a money steal b/c there is a remove ads feature through the subscription service, which means you have to pay repeatedly to keep ads off. Again, SCAM and, if this was a respectable game with honest to God devs, they would have removed this $3.99 remove ads option from their store. Play at your own risk. Wouldn't waste money on it as you're only running in circles chopping trees. just skip every ad if you're patient enough. As for me? The game itself is great….. The game itself is great for what it is. An idle game. As someone with severe adhd it was actually super attention grabbing for me. My only issue is that there are only 10 levels. I ran through that in 2 days. I’m giving this five stars because this game is really fun though I did pay for the ads to be gone along with two other things I can understand the two other things being gone the golden ax in the long ax but the ads came back is that supposed to happen or do I need to pay more money to get rid of the ads or does the ads keep coming back once a certain amount of time is done on it?

Too many bugs. The game is nice and all but there are too many glitches and bugs in the game the worst one is sometimes you can't even interact with ANYTHING! It’s so annoying I wish you could fix it. If you fixed it it would be way easier to actually play the game because the only thing that works all the time is cutting down trees. To all those people: turn airplane mode on if the ads glitch or there are too many of them. Those reviews are completely useless. There none of my business anyways...

Great concept, poor content. More or less a simplified survival game, your task is really to just expand your island and improve the buildings on it. Problem is, assuming you have airplane mode on to stop ads, this game lasts maybe an hour or 2. Nothing is randomly generated despite the game design being perfect for it, and very few structures actually serve a purpose. I get the feeling the creator made a conceptually interesting game just so he could collect the ad revenue from those of us who didn’t bother reading the reviews.

Great game but too many ads.. I have been playing this for about a day now, and I’m already mad. The game is REALLY great, but there is just a practical truckload of ads every second. If you think about it, the game is great. A way to make it better is to lower down the ads for things to help you, because you can not close them without watching an ad for a different game. The game is fun but. What is the point of the VIP pack? $6.50 a freaking week? You’re joking. Major Bug. I started playing this game very casually, but then it escalated to me hopping on every few hours. I had played for quite a while and saved up a decent bit of gold and wood. I went and upgraded my sawmill stock and sawmill speed and now my sawmill has a negative value and it removed over 650 million wood from my account. So I have had to start over with collecting wood, and it is taking forever. Other than that it is a OK game to pass the time. I just hope that bug gets fixed.

Needs more content. Similar to other reviewers, I finished everything there was to do in about an hour. Ads can be avoided, though I will say I’m not a fan of all these apps being “Watching Ads: The Game” to get anywhere significant. I get ya’ll gotta make some money, but bring it down a notch. What hits me the hardest is the battery drain and my phone turning into a handheld furnace whenever I played. But all in all, fun little game. Hope for more fixes and more content.

Certainly worthy of keeping. Seeing as world three hasn’t come out yet must mean there’s a lot to add ,so I’ve enjoyed playing everything possible and wanna see more ,yes there are ads and well yess I bought to not have them pop up mainly since I like the game and wanna support it ...keep up the good work ,I don’t wanna make suggestions seeing as it’s not my creation ,just make it great whoever made it I commend you ♥️✌️👏

Waste of money. This game has the nerve to offer $99 a year subscription but there’s only enough levels to keep you busy for 3 hours. It’s fun but don’t waste your money on any packages even the 99 cent package gives you more time than the game actually takes to finish. They need to actually finish building the game past level 10 before they start charging money. Also there’s zero technical support or any way whatsoever to complain about the severe lack in content. I’m guessing the 4.5 star rating is nothing but the employees trying to sell the game

Alright game could use improvements. I finished the first two worlds within two days, I wish it had more levels. There are quite a few ads but if you can get past that then its ok. The controls are alright but occasionally the screen will freeze for a couple seconds. It would be great if they added maybe some player skins that you can unlock by completing achievements or quests. Overall could use some improvements but could be pretty good down the lines.

"Remove Ads" purchase is misleading. While the game is simple and enjoyable the random and temporary boost drops, such as the golden axe and coin bags, are constant annoying interruptions that prompt the player to either: A. Watch a video ad to collect the boost B. Skip the ad. To try and avoid the boost for uninterruptable gameplay I purchased the "remove ads" option for $2.99. Gameplay is still interrupted with these boost drops, and now other boosts randomly pop up on the screen that prompt a video ad if your finger accidentally slides over it. To top things off - the $0.99 bonus pack to remove ads and gain a golden axe boost lasts for 6 hours. This whole things can be classified in one of two ways: 1. The boosts are the ads. 2. There are no mandatory ads and the "remove ads" purchase is pointless.

Started at a 5-star and now….. I’ve had this game for a good while. I had been waiting almost close to 2 to 3 months waiting for new worlds after Island 10. Kinda cheesy to add new but, small layouts to the already existing islands. Another thing to note is how long it takes to trade wood for coins. Although, I feel the next update is just another bug fix or pointless deals. I hope this is not the case or I might as well delete this one and find a better idle game.

🤤. I love the game and thank you for all the hard work so far! Never in my life has an app game made me continuously check the App Store for updates until this one. Advertisement Galore. This would have been a relaxing build-an-island game, if there wasn’t so many advertisements forced down your throat. I know indie games have to make most of their money through advertising other games (as no one really does in-app purchases anymore); but why give the option to either watch an ad for a bonus in game or say no thanks, but force the player to watch an unstoppable ad anyways. And this happens every 45 seconds! I timed the loop. Instant delete, don’t waste your time unless u want to watch ads every 45 seconds

Game is fun but needs more. The game is absolutely a fun time killer. But it needs more. More updates and more ways to spend the gold and logs. I am stuck at the end currently with way to much axe updates and sawmill updates. Also I have over a billion logs with no use for them. Gold comes in way to easy right now. Need more ways to spend it.

Good idea. When I started playing this game, I had many ideas come to mind. First off, there needs to be different varieties of axes and more islands to discover. With that being said, monsters or boss battles should be added to not make the game as boring. Or maybe a crafting system and different types of wood or maybe even metals like iron to make armor and other weapons. If all of these features are added to the game then I would most certainly give this game a 5 out of 5 star rating.

Fun for a week. I'll say it did keep me entertained for like a week, it was fun to keep building up islands as I went on, but getting to the last island with nothing to build anymore just turns it into a novelty you play with for a few days and get bored with. You should absolutely play this game for like a week cause it is a fun game, but don't expect longevity and don't even think about spending any money on the game cause your money is gonna go nowhere

Great but dissatisfied. I think the graphics and controls are great and easy to use which helps with a relaxing game to really space out on. I’m having a hard time finding much support to fix an issue I’m having. I’ve maxed out each world but on world 6 the boat doesn’t show up. And neither does the square to “unload” wood. Also the square to unload wood at the very top of where the boat is does not appear. The road just ends in the middle of the plot. So I can’t advance to world 7. I would love to keep playing but I’m kinda prohibited to move on right now.

Phone warmer and not polished at all. While playing the game in airplane mode to bypass ads my phone battery drain was so bad that while plugged into a 2.1 amp charger I was loading power not gaining and the phone would warm uncomfortably. As for not being polished I hoped the idle wood cutters and the saw mill would be a benefit. It is not you must have the workers and the saw mill in view to have them do anything. Game is interesting concept but with these two Main issues and having to run in airplane mode ide say it’s a waste of time and space on your phone

Love the game but…. •I hope they had add a lot more worlds to the next update. • I wish they would make the upgrade process easier as in being able to upgrade by 1x/10x/25x100x or even allowing you to hold the button down. • I played for about 4 weeks and I've already at max level/money. •I really do enjoy the game just hope they will improve it.

Content Level is Minimum. This is a cute idea and well executed. I like that it’s peaceful with NO fighting. There’s plenty of other games for that. My only qualm about this game is I downloaded it yesterday and have already done everything there is to do in each world other than amass a bajillion gold and wood for no reason. I can’t wait to see more content.

Forced to watch ads. First off I don’t see a point to this game. All you do is run around chopping down trees that are then used to make stupid tents that allow you to then...you guessed it - run around and chop down more trees. The controls are clunky to the point of being ridiculous. In order to get the upgraded items that allow you to cut down and collect trees faster you’re forced to watch an ad. That in and of itself is fine. However, even if you elect to not watch an ad one pops up anyway. I highly advise you not to download this game until fixes are in place.

Somethings good somethings bad. When I first saw the game I was like gonna be a good game but when I opened it it was not what I expected there was ads every time I build something or clicked something it was just terrible the first time I mean to get the power ups it’s it’s really worth it for the power ups but other times and so don’t build anything or click anything!!!!!!! Do you understand?!?!?!?!

Love!!. I absolutely love this game. It’s a great time killer, and one I can throw my phone down to help my dog while he’s puking 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️ The only cons I have are: (I’m all for ads. In fact, I’d rather watch an ad to get the golden axe than pay for it) however, there’s been several times I’ve gotten the golden axe, and have to use up part of that minute to watch a random ad pop up. OR I’ll click “no I don’t want to watch an ad for the axe” and have to watch an ad anyways and not get the axe. Also, when I’m running across the land, my person will often stop to cut trees, or will randomly spend coins/logs if I get too close to certain spots. Overall I love this game and will continue playing.

Even when you tap ‘no thanks’ to skip whatever bonus it offers if you watch an ad, it shows you an ad anyway! Then you have to tap to skip after a few seconds, your tap takes you to the App Store to download it, so you have to tap to go back to the game, tap the ‘done’ button, then watch a few more seconds of the ad before the ‘x’ appears to finally close the ad. And that’s if you DON’T want to watch the ad!

Too adds. I know that adds are how app creators make some of their money but it’s too many and it needs to stop. Other then the adds it’s the best app I have ever had. When I get one of those special axes it asks me if I want to watch an add to have the axe for a few minutes. But when I CLICK NO THANKS it sends me right to an add. The only reason why I clicked no thanks was so I DON’T have to watch an add. It’s really frustrating and makes me want to DELETE the app.

Please please please get the game. So I just got this game and it blew my mind you get to have 10 dogs and then get five cents and you just in the dress and cuts for you you have to get the game it is reviewing the game is super coolest Game in the universe you have to get it I already got to the little pink thing easy and you have to get the game went to do it and get you so just get the game

Ok but needs more levels. I really enjoyed the game initially. So much so that I spent the $2.99 so that I could “get rid of the ads.” However, I still have to watch ads… I thought this would update more regularly but it’s been over a month and I’m stuck at level 10 because it hasn’t been updated with new levels. I’m just disappointed because I enjoyed it at the beginning.

Craft Island. This game is so fun I love it especially for passing time, as of right now there are 10 worlds and I need more I had the game for 3 days and was addicted me and my brother would go for hours playing it…. Until we maxed everything out on both our phones it says more worlds are coming soon but that was last summer I need more worlds

Very fun game. This is a honest review coming from a skeptical player at first. I really enjoy this game thoroughly though and the last update really changed the game completely in a good way. I have been playing so often waiting for the next update that a pot of gold gets me 150g and I have over 1t coins very satisfying and a good game to play to pass the time.

Some problems.. 1. When I decline a power up it still makes me watch a add. 2. In the middle of the game it still makes me watch a add even if I stay away from power ups. 3. When I stand behind a tree at the edge waiting for the tree to regrow. When The tree regrows it some times Launches me into the water and I have to close out the tab for craft island. 4. Sometimes when I buy things with both the coinsAnd the logs itTakes the coins and the logs But it makes me have to do it all over again. 5. Sometimes the game glitches and removes all of my logs. Other than that I find The game both challenging and relaxing at least sometimes when it’s not glitching. I heard my friends having the same problems and sorry for any spelling errors. I fixedAs many as I will I could find. that Is all.

GOOD GAME! Alot of Ads. This game is so dope! The expansion of go island to island with different strategies each time to figure out how to level up in the game faster or obtain wood faster which can be transformed into coins as well so honestly if this game didn’t over heat my iPhone 12 Pro Max so fast I would play it more often but it’s unhealthy for my phone

READ. Answer, Developers! I just got this game while I was on vacation, and I like it already. But I’m confused if I can do more than chop wood and collect coins, or change the color of my character. But I ask you developers, answer please!!! And give me some game options that you have made. I need app options!!!

Three days and done 🥴. Started playing. Really loved the game. Thought about paying to remove ads but just kept playing to see if I would keep playing and justify the money. All done to World 10 in three days with “More Coming Soon”. I see other comments from almost a year ago saying the same. Play the game—DON’T pay for it. You will be done with the game in an hour if you pay for it. About three days (4-5 hours of play time) with ads. 😞😉

Too short, too many ads. The concept is interesting but the game is just too short. It takes about 2 hours to finish (world 10) and there have been no updates to add more in several months. The game has forced ads every 60 to 90 seconds so keeping WiFi off is an absolute must. To the developer, all ads should be optional and you need to make 10x as many levels to justify your ridiculous subscription program.

Bugs and Updates. This game is pretty straight forward, spend a little time, whatch a lot of ads, and finish really quick…. It took me around 2 hrs to finish the game with its current content (Island 10). I leveled up so much that my sawmill has a negative value.. I’m sure that is a glitch that should be fixed since it’s in the billions. There also needs to be an option to press and hold when leveling up. The app also kills your battery. I have an iPhone 11 and you can tell it’s consuming a lot of energy when the phone heats up significantly. Still waiting for an update to be pushed to expand past the current island. Not sure what is taking so long. Maybe I will be surprised and there will be 90 extra islands when they do finally push an update. Either way, they have a lot to fix.

Relaxing game!. I seen an advertising for this game and figured I’d try it out. Always do enjoy trying an off the wall game. Easy, good pace. I give this 3 star’s simply because I’m a bit unhappy about paying for “No Ads” yet they still play even after the purchase. Much appreciated if this could be fixed. Don’t care to watch an ad after a “Big Ax” or “Money Pot” drops. Should just be able to pick it up by choice without ads.

Expansion!!!. Game expansion! I would love to move past world 10, I paid the $3-$4 to remove ad’s, and I’m really looking forward to the new worlds we will be able to access. I was a little stumped when I got to the boat at world 10 and it said coming soon, I’m stocking up in the other worlds to get a head start when more open!

Absolutely love this game!!. I would rate this 10/5 stars if I could! I don’t know exactly what it is about this game, but I love it so much! What you have to do, the peacefulness of chopping down trees, the goals you try to accomplish, I love it all. The only thing that I’m not crazy about is the lack of worlds. I finished world two and I am craving more. I hope there’s more coming soon!

Needs more levels and islands. This game was very fun, but it only goes to player level 101, and island 10, I’m working on maxing out all the upgrades but then there would be no point in playing anymore until more stuff is added. If their goal is to get people to buy a weekly subscription, you need things that will keep people coming back for more!

This game is cool or whatever but... So there are items that fall out of the trees when you cut them down. They items in question require you to watch an ad before use. So i click “No thanks” and an ad plays anyway. That right there is veryyyyyyyy annoying please fix it. Oh also the game is kinda buggy and sometimes it shuts down at random. Other than that the concept and gameplay are very fun.

Too many ads. Going in, I knew there would be ads quite often. However, even when DECLINING a power up which requires you watch an ad, the ad plays anyway. This is ridiculous. I know you can bypass the ads by using airplane mode, but that's rather inconvenient. Most disappointing, though I'm not sure it's the dev's fault, is that a very provocative (specifically labeled NSFW) ad for another game played completely randomly. If this is a game which can be played by children, I would hope this ad does not play when they do.

Was going great up until. Up until I updated my sawmill stock. THEN it’s been stuck in the negatives. I had a LOT of wood (past the billion mark), I walked up to it out of habit and then it took all my wood. I thought it was a glitch so I closed the app, nope. That didn’t get it back, nor did it fix the negative issue. I’ve been upgrading my sawmill speed to maybe try and fix it that way. Nothing. So I’m just disappointed I guess and hoping the next update gets me another world and fixes this bug.

Fun but needs new worlds. I loved this game but I’ve been stuck at world 10 for a few months. I check every few weeks to see if new worlds have been added but so far I’m still stuck. I’m trying to hold off on upgrading everything just because I’m afraid it will make future worlds too easy. Hopefully the developers haven’t abandoned the game since they have monthly subscription options.

Are there going to be updates on this game?. It doesn’t take long to completely buy everything every piece of land all the upgrade everything so right now I’m just cutting down trees and earning money so if there is an update and a third island I will be rich 🤑 but na good game but I agree with the other dude about all the ads except mine doesn’t freeze up that’s why I gave it 4stars but it’s a cool simple game good idea

Game crashes! Too many ads!. First of all, all of the negative reviews about the frequency of the ads are not just exaggeration. They are almost LITERALLY every 30 seconds or so. Seriously, this is annoying! So you have to pay like 2-3 bucks to make ads stop. Now, after paying that, you have to deal with the fact that (seemingly as if to punish people for paying for the no ads) when you do decide to watch an ad for a double reward or something the game just closes during the ad! It’s beyond annoying! It makes the game unplayable!

Great Game but very short. This is a great game. I love playing this game. Although, I went through all three worlds in a matter of about an hour total. I do believe this game will improve much later, and add much more worlds and features. I can imagine a more finished version of this game being loads of fun. (I had fun playing this version too, though)
