Great Devs. Originally it was a 3 star because it felt pay to win, pay $3 to not start 100% all the way over every single time you die. But after the recent update you pay to simply get rid of ads, which I personally think is a great idea, it’s a different experience to the original flash game (I haven’t played the new standalone one) while still keeping the same style and feel. It plays great and is super fun, keep going in this direction and listening to the fans devs. <3

This game is really good. I bought this app mainly because I saw it on store shelves and the game never grabbed my attention. I would look at the box art think “oh that’s cool” then put it down. So when I saw it was gonna be free I knew I knew I was going to try it. I did and I had a hard time putting it down. The game play is simple and fun, the visuals are cute and fun to look at, and the controls are pretty easy to understand. The one main complaint is that when you die in a level you have to start from the beginning unless you have bought the premium, but I understand why they made it that way since they’re a small developer. I do plan on buying the premium version though and I can say now is great job developers.

A hidden jewel. I pre order this game not that long ago and I waited like a day and boom it was out so I played it. I got a hang of the controls I haven’t seen any bugs or glitches I like how this game is arcade style so if you lose all lives you start from the first level so you can keep retrying and finding new ways to play and to me this game is really cool I like the animations that the character has every time you move and the way the every level is different in its own way and I hope this game blows up I have great hopes on this game

Plays well but easily a cash grab. I liked the original My Friend Pedro game so it was cool to find it for mobile. The games movement and combat play really well but the need to pay for premium to restart the level you died on makes it a blatant cash grab. I haven’t seen any other mobile game need to pay for a premium service just to restart a level. Instead those who don’t want to spend on premium have to start from the VERY beginning

Idea •_•. The games is very great but I wish there could be custom levels and make my own level and play other peoples custom levels and I got this other idea that you can choose your main guns like a revolver and that stuff and that the player can have assist weapons like a grapple hook that you can swing to the roof or the walls and drag the enemies and that stuff anyways I think that the custom level would be a great idea but i don't know about the weapons idea

Horrible compared to the pc and Xbox version. Now I understand that this is on mobile, and mobile games are usually bad but for pretty much no reason, it now looks like a cartoon, you have to pay three dollars to not restart the entire game for dying once, and you can’t even use a Bluetooth controller which would make the game playable, if I had to go back like three levels or even something like 4 when I died, that would be fine. But right now it’s disappointing that this is the sequel to an amazing game, even if it is mobile, which I kind of liked the idea of until I played it. I recommend you add Bluetooth controller compatibility and I wouldn’t even care about the other things. Five stars for the other game though!

Can we pls get controller support. This game is the absolute best I’ve seen bad reviews about how controls are bad but really they’re great if they were talking about actually being able to use them. But maybe you would think it’s a bit slow if we’re able to use controllers, that would help. But I think the game needs more levels.

I Am Going To Cremate Myself. So. Uhhhh. This game is really fun. Just like the PC game. The entire game seems to be unlocked for free at first glance, however to beat the game for free you will need to beat every level with the limited amount of hits you can take. The life you lose doesn’t reset in the next level either. So you will need to manage yourself to try and not get hit. So my goal is to beat the whole game without needing to pay. I’ll do that with the Main game, but I ain’t spending money on a mobile game. Anywho the only real downside I have is the controls for the game and how they aren’t customizable at all. Would be nice as I have been screwing myself over with accidentally rolling into razor wire. Anyways. Good job Dev team as always. Loved y’all’s work with MyFriendPedro and this is just about as good.

Super Fun!!!. I seen Jacksepticeye play this. And I fell in love. It has everything. Super easy Controls. Matrix like action, flying through the air in slow motion shooting down your enemies. And we cant forget about the talking BANANA and your bestest friend PEDRO. The graphics aren’t the same but that’s ok cause it’s now free to play the WHOLE GAME. 10/10 love the game.

Fun game but terrible “Levels”. What I mean by “Levels” is the level select menu, which is terrible. Yay you created a free game with good mechanics but to select the last level or any level for the matter you must buy the PREMIUM, I’d be happier buying the game for 4-6 dollars than paying a monthly premium. I don’t have a lot of time in my day to play games on my phone but pausing games helps, it also helps to not have to restart the entire game from the start.

Amazing gameplay, feels incomplete. This game is FUN, like really fun, but it’s way too short. Maybe you could add more levels that could be unlocked with the 2.99 purchase, maybe Pedro getting revenge on the guy who put all those other guys up to kidnapping Pedro’s family. But this game is phenomenal, I thoroughly enjoyed every second of gameplay. Keep up the good work guys! 👍

I love this game but its got an annoying bug. I absolutely love this game dont get me wrong, I think its a total masterpiece especially on mobile, but one of the few bugs I’ve come across is that when you get into a level a ad will try to load and it will just show you a blank screen, I know if I just pay for the full version I wouldn’t have this problem, but its a problem nonetheless. And I dont think this will be seen by a developer or anything but it would be nice if they would, its a great game though and I play it all the time. Thank you

Good game!. I loved the OG My Friend Pedro. I think the gunplay is good, and they didn’t make the two handed weapons bad. (In the game before this you held into weapons and the 2 handed weapons were too OP and boring), but this game fixed that, because you don’t keep them. You occasionally switch guns. The rougelike-ish feel felt nice. Wish it was longer, add a second campaign or more please.

change controls/more customization. I been playing the game for a few days and i like it since I’m not able to play it on computer my friends pedro is a very cool game, but i notice a few one of them is your not able to change your guns i want to be able to use other guns instead of the pistol, other thing is I don’t really like the controls for a mobile games it’s kind hard for a mobile game, it’s kinda hard to be able to move fast and get a high score so i was wondering if you can maybe adding a few more options. One more thing is your not able to freeze and unfreeze time like on the computer and it kinda of annoying to not able to move and your multiplayer i going down too fast, but other then that i hope you keep updating the game and adding more features to it.

A rare gem among this heap of trash. Honestly,I didn’t hope for much at first. But after a while,I got pretty hooked. Took about 2 hours to finish. An awesome thing they did was not to lock levels behind ‘star wall’. You could get 1 star in each level and still be able to finish (or maybe not? I got two on average so I’m not sure) After finishing the game, I found it has a trailer too and The trailer was Superb… The levels are not TOO hard. But You will die a few times. Overall,A pretty awesome game. I kinda wish it had more levels…but it’s ok. These two hours of pure fun makes up for all of its shortcomings.

Fun game. I played blood bullets & bananas and it was fun. When I saw they were making a sequel on the AppStore I was happy. When I started playing it the game was alright it was fun I like the story but it was how you monetized it. I know that free games need somewhat of people buying things but having the checkpoint system behind a paywall everything else I’m fine with but not being able to save or restart the level annoys me. So please get rid of the checkpoint in the pack.

Love it. The game is great quality and a lot of replay value. Love blood rush mode but it’s not for the easily frustrated. People giving bad reviews about the checkpoint system… understand that this is a premium experience with no ads. You purchase the premium upgrade once and you get the full game. The fact that you could potentially beat the whole game for free is commendable. Don’t mistake this with a trashy freemium experience. Love devolver digital. They are the best when it comes to indie games.

Great game, but there’s obviously a flaw. So I die on a level, I tried to restart, I gotta pay 3 dollars to restart, otherwise, back to the beginning of the game. I tried going back to a level to get all three stars, I gotta pay 3 bucks to replay a level, otherwise, I’m stuck with 1-2 stars. But I understand, you guys need the money and probably be able to add some updates to the game, but if you guys can, I really appreciate if you give us alternative way to replay and restart levels, like watching an ad for example, I wouldn’t mind doing that. It’s a great game, it really is, but I don’t really feel like paying any money at this time.

Fun game but repetitive. The game is fun for a while but after that it becomes mind numbingly repetitive because if you die you start from the beginning unless you pay. Plus a harder difficulty is locked behind a paywall giving you no reason to play again after you beat it

Pretty good game. I have seen bits and pieces of the Consol version and this seems better sure there are bugs but none of them are a big ruckus to the gameplay overall you have to watch an ad or exit out of the game to get a respond on a level or you need to start the whole game all over again I haven’t done that before because I’m OK with watching ads but it does stink I know it is a pretty good game but it does get repetitive after a few levels I feel like I am doing the same thing all over and all over again and the soundtrack eventually gets kind of annoying because the soundtrack is almost like a sound going all over and all over again and it doesn’t help that sometimes it takes me a little while to finish a level I think it’s a great game one of the best mobile games that I have played.

Amazing. I played this on my Xbox while it was on game pass and was recently taken off it when I found out they were making a mobile port I had low hopes, I thought how could you do matrix combat on a touch pad, when I played I was blown away since I beat the game before I knew how to do combat so it was just a fun ride from beginning to end I really like this port and is really excited to play again. Ps. Very good job devs only thing I don’t like is once you die you restart completely but this game is free and I understand that they need to make money not lose it.

Absolutely love it. Played this in console and adored it. To now see it in mobile and can play whenever is phenomenal. The controls confused me but after level 10 I got it down packed. I hope to see more levels from this game and I’ll 100% recommend to a friend.

Addictive and unpredictable!. I finished the game within just a few days, which makes me clamor for a sequel! I got addicted to the game fast, and I think it has a really fun and kinda retro tone that keeps it engaging. I also could never predict what Pedro was going to say, and I certainly could never predict what happened in the last two levels, which made me a little sad cuz I knew the game would be over soon but also satisfied my love for having my expectations subverted. Four stars!

Awesome game but. This game is amazing so far but I would like if you guys would let people just restart the level without having to buy premium because I keep having to go back to the start when I die or exit the game then work my way up to the level I was on already. Otherwise then that u guys game is amazing

A wonderful masterpiece. I love the game and everything about it, yet you can’t change your skin or character. I would love to see ability's like a time freeze or grapple gun maybe? Also please make a multiplayer mode? Anyways the game is great I recommend playing

Great version of an incredible console game.. I love this game. The art style is a nice cartoony version of the more realistic console/computer game, and the new controls are hard to master but very fun. The game feels much better then most other mobile games and it is not an ad ridden mess. The premium purchase is a fair and cheap buy which is not as shoved down your throat as other games. The soundtrack is also great, and perfectly fits the game. Overall an incredible game.

MY FAVORITE GAME. This is one really cool shooting game! You can do so much in it. Fight slayers, chase cars, save bananas! Why did I say that. It has some really cool slow motion features you can use that make it really cool and makes you feel like a pro. ( If you can at least save Billy you can be ) I wish there were more levels of the game. I really only finished the game in two days. Even if it looks stupid it really is fun!

Very fun, but lacking content. It’s a really fun and somewhat easy game to get a hold of. Challenge comes from building high scores and blood rush, which is very much worth the 3 bucks. Only issue is there is only 30 levels, and 10 achievements. I got all 10 in less than a couple days. If consistent levels were added, a new mode every so often, and achievements which are a bit specific like “never step on the ground in the skateboard level”, it’d easily be a 5 star. Another thing I think would turn it into an amazing game would be played made levels. I don’t know how easy, if at all, that would be to add though. Still worth at least a try, and if you like it get the blood rush mode

One of the best mobile ports I’ve played!. After loving My Friend Pedro on pc and learning there was going to be a mobile port, I was skeptical of how the gameplay would translate, as well as assuming it would be a cash grab like many other mobile ports (though that second concern doesn’t really matter, since it helps indie devs). My assumptions turned out to be wrong, as after playing this game, I love the way it turned out. It keeps the movement shooter action of the original while condensing it into a simplified format, and while not as deep as the first game, it stills plays great. As a sucker for movement games, the fluid tricks while shooting enemies is a godsend. My only issues with the game would be the requirement to get premium to choose your levels instead of starting from the beginning, however, the premium version is a light price and the content and support for indie devs is well worth it. Overall great mobile game with few flaws!

Short but Great. I’ve played my friend Pedro on switch but sadly not PC, and I loved every second of the game but once I finished I was ashamed that it was over but then once I was scrolling through the app store and saw My Friend Pedro for FREE and thought it had to be a rip off but then saw it was the actual developers and was perplexed to say the least until I realized it was a mobile adaptation. I was skeptical at first but then once I played it I realized how good it actually was, the mechanics aren’t janky, the fighting is smooth, and the enemies arent too difficult bit can be when in groups which I love, and of course the brief but charming dialogue which got me actually invested in the characters. I wasn’t expecting much of a storyline but was suprised to see that it had on of it’s own completely seperate from the original game and was a refreshing experience from a game I hold dear to my heart as a fun platformer/shooter game.

Cool game but can you do this. Not as good as the original but is a fun game to play on your phone. The thing I’ve always had with the games is that they are so short. You should add like miniature mini games like pvp or challenges to make the game more enjoyable and if it had that I could spend hours playing it. And your could add controller support. :)

The fun comes and goes within a heartbeat. The game is pretty fun but ends way to quick. I thought this was gonna be a spin off that would have endless amount of levels and updates but just like the original it ends way to quick. I beat the game with 3 stars on each level in about 3hours. The game ends once it starts to become more challenging and fun so keep in mind it does have an end to it and you will most likely reach it quickly. Also keep in mind they do ask you to pay $2.99 to be able to continue progress if you die but if you do not wanna pay you would have to start from the beginning each time you die. Overall I had a fun time but im sad its over within a flash would have loved for this to be a game were you just keep on getting more levels and different lands and enemies. Hopefully this game will get future updates but from the way it ends i highly doubt it. If you want a quick and fun game to pass Some time this would be it but if you are looking to have a game for a long time I recommend looking elsewhere.

Can’t Stop Playing!! So happy to have this on the go.. So happy this came to mobile! Now that I have played it it’s everything I was hoping it would be. Super nice tight controls, great flow, great art and animation. Love it and can’t wait to play more. and for 3 BUCKS! Amazing. And it’s a sizable game too - tons of levels! Amazing. I’ve seen some criticism from people about how you need to buy premium to finish the game because of the need to reset if you die my advice to those of you is git gud no but really it’s not too hard I see it more of an added challenge to play it like a rouge like its fun and I adore the game and the technical side of things my iPhone 6 can run this ever since apple decided that my phone is no longer fit to live it’s been hard finding games that don’t auto crash but this game somehow runs well. If I could I would get premium just to pay the dev team or single dev(idk how many worked on the game) FINAL VERDICT : It’s fun if you have a couple of minutes or hours to burn through

Awesome game. This is a fantastic game with its weapons and levels and parkour I loved this so much that I was so addicted to it I finished it in one day it’s short but I wish it was longer when I beated it I was sad because I beated it that I didn’t think I would play it anymore and I’m still sad I hope y’all make another Pedro game please?

Fun Game!. I played the original game and I am really enjoying this mobile version. After you learn the controls they work really well and the game is hard to put down. Excellent game. This is a good example of understanding your platform and designing for it and taking advantage of the touch controls.

If only. There shouldn’t be a paywall for resetting levels especially when you have to go all the way back to the start of the game and also the controls could be better specifically the slide so you can tell what direction there going in better besides that I like the game but I probably won’t play it to much

Yes and no but more yes. I loved the game and the art stile but I felt like it was pay to win because the fact that you have to go back to the start when your 3 hearts are gone is a bit overkill like all the way back I made it to level 13 with one heart then died and had to go all the way back but I know 3$ is not that much but why but the ending was sad that I had too buy the premium thing :( but the game was great over all It felt short though:)

Cool. This game is epic. It would be the ultimate slow mo gun game if made by a bigger company. I loved the gameplay, 6/10 on difficulty. (It helps to have quick fingers) beat it in 2 days. I like how you have to go back 1 level when you die and your health is transferred for each level. Sadly, I didn’t know how to turn blood off ‘till I beat it, it’s in settings btw. A sequel with bosses with weak points like arcade shooter games would be AWESOME!

Shows promise, however... As being a fan of both the original flash game version and the official release, it was hard not to see this and instantly pre-order it. The look of the game is quite impressive for what it is, though seems to lack a little in vibrancy and flare compared to the console/pc version. The soundtrack fits very nicely, and while the controls could use *some* work, I was able to get accustomed to them very shortly. The main gripe I have with the game as it stands now is the the sort of paywall. I personally would’ve made the full game free to play, instead of the whole no respawn thing, with customers the choice to spend money on either the, alternate skins, soundtrack packs, dlc, bonus levels, modifiers, and etc. Otherwise, it’s a promising start to a simple yet very effective action platforming shooter.

Masterpiece. I was never able to play the original my friend Pedro on PC but this thing is sick, the controls are a little awkward when it comes to movement however it is still a great game which is worth checking out. Also maybe add a endless mode like from my friend Pedro arena?

My expectations were proven wrong ! … however. I practically grew up with the flash version before devolver digital had picked it up and I loved the game on console and while I expected the game would’ve been subpar, but it was actually really charming and I felt like I was playing a subway surfers/fruit ninja or angry birds era game and it felt so nostalgic and fun none the less it was a breath of fresh air for the mobile games industry everything from the controls and simple but fun execution down to the cute little squishy wobbly mitch jr is great I have one problem and that is the game could be beat in Literally an hour and an a half it’s been out for two days as of publishing this review and I’ve beaten the the story mode and I beat it in very small sittings I’d assume that they might be adding more levels possibly but otherwise it’s a great game and gives me hope for this franchise

AMAZING! But…. This game is totally awesome, the concept is hilarious and the gameplay is super fun. The only issue I have with it is that it feels kinda short and once you finish the 35 or so levels it gets kinda boring so if it’s possible it would really make the game a lot better if it was given some kind of endless run or more levels. But other that that the game is absolutely amazing

I love this game!. I love my friend Pedro! It’s a really fun action packed game amazing storyline but it’s too short we need more levels! Some of my friends love the game I love how Pedro pops up after a couple kills with different faces I also love how in each 3 different places in the game the kidnappers look different! I also love the fact that you can also play it offline if your traveling or anything like that playing this game will make time fly! It’s not like those games that look amazing in the ads and look HORRENDOUS when you download it. Well I love the game hope you do too but yeah easy 5 stars

Liked it enough to spend 2.99 on it. Just got the alert available to download. So far I like what they are doing. I like the max payne style bullet time when you can slow down to aim your shots . Have played some other games that look similar but not that play as well as this one.

eh. all this game does is make me want to play the original again, sure it’s fun but the games core has been dumbed down a lot for the mobile platform. I would probably like it a lot more if continuing from a checkpoint wasn’t locked behind a paywall, i get its to support a one man team but it would have been nice to start from the beginning of a chapter instead of having to start all over again unless your toss 3 precious dollars away. Overall fine game if you never get hit or have 3 bones to spare

Good, but.... The overall concept of the game is awesome and I’ve really enjoyed it. On the other hand, there is the fact that you have to go through all the levels in one session, no respawns. I, for one, do not like this feature. If you get to the higher levels of the games and die, you have to, through frustration, play all the levels all over again. I feel like the fact that you have to pay $2.99 to be able to choose which keel you play is a bit far fetched and seeing as there is another game mode It doesn’t feel necessary. You could at the very least have it so that to respawn you have to watch an ad, and I’d accept that. I don’t, however know how the console version plays and if you get respawns in that or not, I’ll check it out. Overall it’s a fun game it’s just got a few little bugs but seeing as it just released, it’s to be expected.

Please don’t put this game for free!. I use to play the orginal game on my Switch and had a ton of fun with it. This game is free but when you enter the game it makes you wanna buy the full version and it makes it to look like those spam advertisements type mobile game. I love this game company and all so don’t put such orginal graphic full game for free and make people to try and buy the full version that makes the game too look lame in the view of the gamers. Pleas emake the game to be paid and not free and 2.99$ is not too mych expensive though to save the money like that, it worth it. ;)

Spectacular Game. Absolutely loved the game to bits. I’m coming from the original one and that was a blast. This one was not a let down. The artstyle is cute and fresh, the game is incredibly fun for my type of play style. While the ads did frustrate me a tad, they didn’t keep me away from the game because I love it so much. Going to buy premium too so I can support the creator as much as I can. Awesome game, definitely recommend. Support the creators while you’re at it.

This is a very great fun game but with the ropes that you can swing on i think there should be more levels with those also could you release and endless game mode that randomly generated different levels each time and you try to get high scores by going as far as you can through the levels

10/10 but super short. I love My Friend Pedro, I’ve 100% the original game and (at the time of writing this) have almost 100% completed this game. But it is so short, took me 3 hours to beat in 1 sitting, a level pack or a endless game mode would do wonders to this.

Good but frustrating. I love every aspect of this game but having to go buy premium just to unlock levels is kind of frustrating. I get the process behind it but I feel as it ruins the games potential and liking. Being able to unlock a level by getting a solid 3 stars would be excellent instead of having to start from the beginning over and over again would be a suggestion. Overall, great game and I enjoyed playing it.

The best game but. Why do we have to pay just to save level

The biggest issue. The game is good with fast paced action but the biggest problem I have with this game is the checkpoints where you have to pay to unlock.

Tedious. Love the game but could add more control schemes, i find the touch controls bit annoying especially when trying too go from a jump to a slide and keep combo metre alive because it doesnt stay long

Not sure if this is a prank?. So you have to play literally the tutorial every time you die or close the game?…. Because why? They want money?…. When you force people to pay they tell you where to shove it. I would pay for it but the fact they literally shove it in your face. Not a chance.

It’s fun but…. It’s fun but one crucial feature is locked behind a paywall which is to restart the level you fail on. Other than that you will have fun if you play the game fully free like I have. In conclusion, get it and have fun playing it

Tons of fun but could be better. I played through this game completely and I have to say it was definitely some of the most fun i’ve had with a mobile game. I turned of internet so there was no ads because i immediately felt that they were removing me from the experience. I do think that the number of ads is a little excessive and i don’t like that you need to pay to unlock certain features. I agree with other reviews that an endless mode would be so much fun and could also open up an opportunity for the devs to add in a “watch video to revive” function and in turn reduce the number of pop up ads

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY PN THIS GAME. Ok so this game isnt that bad but it isnt worth 4.50 for a new gamemode and no ads, its just not exciting enough and its the same thing over and over, no plot what so ever and not very fun and there isnt even multiplayer.

This makes me feel like a badass. You read the title. This game brought me an experience no other game would have. Sure, it is loaded with ads, SURE, the playstation verson is a bit better, but now, NOW, i can experience the game without having to get off of my couch, start up the ps4, go into the game. Amazing. Without a doubt my favourite game. Unfortunately I have now finished it and there is nowhere to go.

Suggestion. Great game but add some cheats/ features for people who have bought the game like the fist one

Well it is a fake version of the actual game. It’s a fake copyright of the actual game which is on console and pc called my friend Pedro so not only did you make a fake COPYRIGHT! But someone who wrote a review thinks this is a iPad game made by you!

Well worth buying. A great mobile adaptation. Funny dialogue, short levels and satisfying gameplay. My only wish is that it had controller support. I’m playing most iOS games these days using the Backbone controller and it’s a bit of a bummer to have to revert back to the touchscreen.

Ads. Hello. There is a bug in the game where after you watch an ad between levels after the ad finishes the screen goes black. Pls fix this because then I have to do the level before the one I am on

Great, but needs some work and gets annoying. My Friend is Pedro is a great and fun game, but over all if you die you will have to watch an add that you can’t get rid of causing me to shut the game down to continue, then there’s another problem, it’s too short, I played this game for half and a bit more days and already finished it. Through all that it is a great game

Banana.. Overall this is a great fun game and if your willing to watch ads every time you die it’s OK

banana. I played this while I didn’t have service and it was a great way to pass time. It had simply gameplay but interesting enough to keep you engaged. It switches the gameplay up for a few levels where you’re on a motorcycle instead but the controls are the same which made it very interesting. It could have more levels, but I think the amount of story it had went well with the type of game this is and the simplicity of it . I’m not sure how it runs if you have service, but I played it all the way through in a few hours and I definitely recommend it if you’re going somewhere without service :)

A great game. This is just an enjoyable experience all around with only a few problems here and there like some crashed and and the fact you can get this for free with ads is just ludicrous

I like it more than the original game.. Compared to the original My Friend Pedro, this game is much simpler which helps it greatly. The original game had too many mechanics that it sometimes felt like too much. Here, they keep the mechanics simple but introduce new ways to use them in levels to keep the game fresh. The soundtrack is great, the characters are bouncy and full of charm, and overall I prefer this to the original game.

Ads.. Do a level. Ad. Do a level. Ad. Do a level. Ad. Restart a level. Ad.

Great game. Really a fantastic game, the controls could use some work but still great. One of the only games I have ever replayed to get all of the levels 3 stars.

Paywall ruins the game. The game would be fun if you did not have to pay to play continuously. The second you close the app you are automatically brought back to the beginning of the game, and the only way not to keep repeating this cycle over and over is to pay for premium. There is no cosmetics or any type of upgrade system which would be ok if there was anything more to do than repeat the same missions over and over. If the developer was to fix these crucial issues, this game would be able to entertain people for hours and then would be worthy of 5 stars.

Five star = Future updates.. After reading the reviews I decided to try this. I’ll admit I expected the price tag to be higher. I paid before I even hit the so called “paywall”. If time is money and you are spending your time playing games… than you must have enough money?

Very fun and fluid gameplay. I was really impressed with how easy the controls were to understand. The gameplay never gets stiff or boring, feels like there’s always room to improve. This was really well adapted for mobile. Was worried about the premium paywall but it’s a super good price for the game.

MAKE MORE LEVELS. This game is probably the second best game I’ve ever played, the gameplay is fun the bike parts are amazing i just need more levels. And y’all know you can just play offline right?

Bad Controlling. The handling and controls for this game feel very loose and janky they are just very easy to mess up and do not need to be as weird as they are.

Extremely fun. I love this game. It’s fun acctioned packed, but a bit short. I decided to buy the premium for blood rush, it was worth every cent. I wish ther where more levels but over all awsome game.

Fun game. It’s a fun game. Ignore the people complaining about the paywall because development of games isn’t cheap. If you don’t like ads then pay for the game.

Boring compared to the original. The original actually had a nice “flavour” to it when it came to the gameplay and aesthetic of the game. This is a spit on the original games face. This is nothing but another money sucking mobile game with Pedro on the front. Not to mention how boring it is. Holy moly i played for 5 minutes and lost interest, my eyes actually got heavy.

Short and easy. Simple reason for why it’s bad: It’s way to short and can be beaten in less than half an hour, and it’s pretty easy.

More levels. Great game but not enough levels

Checkpoints. I really think there should be checkpoints so you don’t have to start over every time So you don’t have to play the stay at checkpoints

Paywall removed. They have removed the paywall that made it so that you have to restart the game every time you close the app changing my thought on the game from 1 star to 5, its great that the developers are listening to the consumers and have removed the paywall the game is very fun and even better now that you can progress

I love the game but the controls are just a bit too wonky for me.. I have played “My Friend Pedro” on the Switch and I own it. I actually saw gameplay footage waaaay back when the game wasn’t completely fleshed out. Jacksepticeye played it and I just knew that I would love it, and I did. I got so freakin’ happy that it was on the eShop. And I got excited AGAIN to see this version on the App Store. I’ve been playing it and I have to say that it’s fun but it’s sort of hard for me to maintain that stylish killing spree flow because of the controls. Know what I mean? I should probably check if this game supports controller usage but if it doesn’t, then maybe try to input that? Either way, it could just be me having this issue but why not add the controller feature. Anyways, keep up the amazing work! I’m planning to “Go Premium” because I love the work you guys have done. And I love this stretchy animated art style. Keep up the Bananatastic work guys (or girls)!

Best game ever needs more levels. Ok I completed the game in 1 day and it’s so fun please add more levels and maybe make blood rush free if you reach a certain level and please do add maybe 1v1 match's that would be awesome but all I can say that this is the best assassin game ever!

Quite fun. You get a good taste of the game it cost 3 dollars to be able to really play it its not on the level of the one on the switch but for mobile controls and stuff it’s really goodslightly repetitive but I recommend it

Disappointing. I loved the original game, it was one of my favorite games! So I thought this game we be just as good, but when I started playing the game I saw that you have to pay for premium to do a lot of things. This really disappointed me. Other than that it is a good game.

Impossible. I’m giving this game 2 stars to resemble how it’s impossible get 3 stars in the game. I can’t tell if I’m missing something, but levels 1 and 2 are impossible to get 3 stars on. If it becomes slightly easier to complete levels fully then I would give it 5 stars because I really like the game. But it’s irritating being short of 3 stars when I’m doing nothing wrong. Awesome but pay-to-play. This game clearly incredible but it cost three dollars and me i play for not die to level 16 then die and it’s make me go to the start. I recommended to make a start checkpoint for every chapter for free players that help game grow so much if you want money just add skin, Pedro skin, pets that can usefully, ok that’s all

Good game. Honestly this game is the funniest I've ever played because I don’t really play games like this and I’ve been wanting to play my friend Pedro a soon as it came out, like image a guy shooting people because a banana with a face told him to.

This is a good game, but…. There can be things that can be added and removed. One thing that can be added is controller support. Something that should be removed is when you complete a level it stays completed and you can play it again without starting from the beginning. Other than that this it an amazing game

Amazing. So I’ve always been a big fan of the other games, this is my favorite one. It’s action packed easy to play and simple. It has a lot of game play and I’ve played it 3 times already.

What did you even do with the game?. So it’s been a long time since I’ve played this game I wanted to write a review and download the game but when I saw the game it had completely changed I still decided to play it and it’s still good but I miss the old game

Speed run and bullet time. It’d be great if we could get a speed run mode where we beat levels as fast as we can and compare our scores with others. It’d also be nice if we could turn off bullet time in the settings.

I like it just one problem. So I was playing and every time you die and you don’t have premier access then you had to start all the way back to the Beginning put if you do have premier access you can start from The checkpoint

Good but…. For F2P’s it’d be nice to be able to disable the tutorial level or just skip it, because I really like the challenge of starting from the beginning if you fail but the tutorial just suuuuccckkkkss

About half an hour. There are 36 stages, each of which takes about a minute or less to play. I paid to remove the ads right away, expecting this highly rated game to have a decent amount of content. A few minutes later, I had beaten the game. Now I really regret having paid for it. If you can stomach sitting through 36 forced video ads, then you definitely shouldn’t pay to play this one.

Really fun!!. this was hella fun!!! i had it on the Nintendo switch at first but it did end a little too quickly on mobile. i finished the game in 1 day i was hoping for more but it was still really fun and kept me entertained!!

The game is fun but not enough to buy the whole game.. This is a great game to play when I’m bored on like an airplane or something when the internet isn’t available. But you have to restart the whole game if you ever die, close it, or just leave to the title screen. This game is not nearly good enough to buy it when I could just get another free game.

Weaker entry. I loved the my friend Pedro games since I first played them on Armor games but this entry in the series feels weak and doesn’t really match up to the other games in style and in gameplay, which is why it fell flat for me and wasn’t something I enjoyed. That being said I’m sure there are others who can enjoy it but it’s just not what I was looking forward to from the game series.

Volume Sliders Please! - Well Worth the $3. Though Blood Rush mode seems like just a “2.5+ stars or die” mode rather than anything majorly transformative, but the main game is 5 stars on its own. Happy to show support too, I’m glad to have Devolver quality games for playin on the toilet.

Stop comparing to pc and console version. I’ve played this on console and yes it’s better on console and pc but! This isn’t meant to be the same game. It’s completely different. It’s good for a mobile game. People just want to cry and complain.

Finally a fun free game!. It’s been a long time since I’ve played a mobile game that kept my attention. Ads were not unbearable and overall gameplay was smooth and easy.

Amazing on iPad. The mechanics seem made for a tablet. This game is great w/ touch controls. Apple + should be paying Devolver to make an exclusive for them. My only complaint is it’s too short. It has replayability though.

Good game, bad controls. I am a big fan of the first game and was very excited about this. I worried that the controls were going to be bad because there are so many actions you can do and with only two fingers it would be hard to play and I was right.

Why am I not allowed to save for free. Why do I have to pay for the feature to start from a level I have already beaten? That should be a basic feature in the game for free. Every thing else is fair and the gameplay is good, my only gripe is the unnecessary pay wall for a basic game feature.

It’s good ads are unbearable. Every time you die, ad that you can’t skip. Everytime you pass a level. An ad you can skip but you still have to wait 15 seconds. Money hoarding at its finest. It’s unfortunate as i thought i would enjoy the game either way but after 7-10 levels i was done with the amount of ads. Just make it a pay for game.

Fun game but repetitive. The game is fun for a while but after that it becomes mind numbingly repetitive because if you die you start from the beginning unless you pay. Plus a harder difficulty is locked behind a paywall giving you no reason to play again after you beat it

It’s fun and challenging..... But unless you are able to survive the entire game on three lives, you will need to pay. I think it was a couple bucks. I’m tight on the money for now, but that is gist of it all. Controls are something to get used to unless you played angry birds. The controls are very similar; just pull and release.

It’s not my friend Pedro but still a good game. I really HATE the new graphics, if you could pack in the old ones with premium that would be just fine by me. But now on to the review, matrix games never worked on mobile, until now, you pull it off beautifully, it feels like you sort of tried too hard to keep the game PG it doesn’t feel like my friend Pedro anymore.

How to to retry without ads. So I found out a way to restart a level without watching ads all you have to do is if you die close the app and open if again and this game is amazing 🤩

Arrow the kid. I love this game but I think after you die in the game you should get rid of the adds so after you die you can restart with no adds

Good game. So I played my friend Pedro on ps4 it was one of my favorite ps4 games imo and when I heard it was coming to mobile it had to try it I love the chino look of the main character and Pedro is still funny 100% recommend

Great game. This game is very well made and a fun challenge. It is unfortunate that you have to pay for some features but I’m just glad it’s not a weekly or monthly payment. I might consider buying it. Also I like bananas.

It’s Good. I love the game by far my favorite mobile game. However having to restart after you die is kinda annoying. Maybe you guy’s could do like an ad after you die or something. But overall fun game.
