Fantastic game. This game is so fun and very creative with everything in the game. It brings me back to playing legend of Zelda. There are several glitches in the game yet and am hoping for an update to fix these bugs

Unexpected polish. I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised when I first started my way through the tutorial. The visuals are really amazing for what they are and very smooth. So far the game seems great, my one grip is the movement feels a little... off? Like moving in a straight line feels really slow but strafing and moving diagonally feels closer to what I would expect. I gather that I’ll adjust as I play on though. Fantastic game. Definitely worth the five bucks.

Best. Mobile. Game.. TL;DR - Buy this game. It’s the best mobile purchase you’ll make! Graphics: Beautiful with excellent animations! Soundtrack: Superb quality! The style is both retro and modern at the same time! Gameplay: Tight, responsive controls! (Especially when using my Xbox One controller) If you enjoy old school Zelda, this game will make you feel right at home! You’ll have plenty of tools and upgrades at your disposal to play the way you want! Story: This game pays homage to the games of yesteryear. The story is straightforward and it just works! You’re the hero who must slay an ancient evil! If you die, another hero takes your place 100 years later. You don’t really need to know much more than that, but you can always read up on the lore if you want. This is probably the best game I’ve ever played on a mobile device. This is the kind of game I grew up on and I really hope they make a sequel! EXCELLENT JOB, DEVOLVER!!!

Seems good, needs joystick. The gameplay itself seems like it would be fun. Unfortunately, the controls for movement are awful enough to make me put the game down for now. Please add some kind of visible joystick/d-pad so those of us without controllers can play the game.

Beautiful full-fledged rpg. This is easily the best Zelda-like game on the App Store. The graphics are perfect, gameplay is fun and the story is quirky enough to not leave you bored. However, I hope the joystick gets fixed soon, it needs a larger dead space or something as it is currently way too sensitive. Also, iCloud support would be great so I can swap from iPad to iPhone. Other than that, this game is worth much more than the asking price!

Deleted my save file.... I’d like to start of by saying I loved this game, I had already beaten Mormo twice and I was on my third run, when one of the dungeons wouldn’t let me complete it. And that sucked, but I got it, a randomly generated world would have some bugs, but it sucked, I could complete the toy dungeon to get to the trial dungeon for the anchor, but that’s fine. What I really hated was when I got on to play today, my save file was completely gone, poof, like I had never even played. I think this game is amazing, but until they fix this bug, it really blows to pour your time into something only to have it deleted.

Not worth playing. Fun to play the first few days then after the second Mormo, save file suddenly deleted. Seriously what a waste of money and time. I’m still waiting to hear when my save file will be available again, or is it gone for good? No response from developer and I’m wondering why they’re still on here with no update. A paid app should NOT be crashing and NEVER delete a users save file with no follow up communication.

Fantastic game, bad controls. The story and game are incredible, all brought to life with whimsical art style and sound effects. The faulty touch controls significantly detract from this, however. The D-pad moves with respect to your finger, making for clumsy and confusing character movement and aiming. An option for a stationary d-pad would bring this game full circle, and make this $6.00 title a steal.

YUP!!!. Legend of Zelda + LSD = Sword of Ditto......Nuf said Edit 1: played a couple days and had to come back and leave an update to my review( FYI this is only the second game out of hundreds that I’ve come back to update). First let me say this game is 100% worth every cent of the asking price and honestly even more....it’s a console quality game with everything from graphics to story to mechanics etc. that are beyond 5 stars....and quickly let me address the other reviews complaining about the controls/walking-they r either idiots or have a super obsolete phone/pad cause they r as dialed in as the rest of this masterpiece... Good Game. Great game the story, the graphics, and the characters are great! Just two thing could you add a joystick because the controls are really hard and difficult to control and learn and could you please add co op so I can play with my friends. Overall great game!

All of my progress was erased.. I was really enjoying this game, it has fun gameplay and is easily able to be enjoyed multiple times. I was just playing and minding my own business when all of a sudden I walked into a room, got an error message, something about loading entities, and the game crashed. Upon reopening the game I found nothing but a “New Story” option. This really killed my motivation to keep playing. The game is good, but I don’t see a point in playing it until this is fixed.

Cannot move character to the right!!. Downloaded this for my daughter on her iPad. The character will not move to the right (except an occasional tiny little shuffle) now matter what we do. It will move up/down/left. Eventually he just gets stuck farther and farther left. I guess I will be getting a refund as I can find nowhere to get help for this.

Great Adventure Game!. Well worth the price, this AAA title feels right at home on the iPad (I use a first gen Pro). I also use an mfi controller and have had no issues whatsoever. This fun adventure game has a quirky sense of humor that reminds me of Double Fine’s games. This publisher has released some great games and I hope they continue to do so (and not make them Arcade exclusive). It follows standard troupes with you being the silent hero-type, going into dungeons for loot and leveling up until the time comes when you must face down the big bad, Mormo. There is a slight time element to the game but I like that. It keeps you from dawdling for too long and balancing between exploring and completing quests. The game rewards success with more challenges and new areas. My only wishlist item would be if it could have coop multiplayer, I don’t know if that’s possible on the iPad but if so that would be fantastic!

Unbelievable!😡😡🤯. I loved the game at first it had a great storyline, amazing graphics, and impeccable detail. But then I realized that I only had 24 hours before I had to fight the boss!👿 it is ridiculous that someone would put such a good game on a time limit! I wouldn’t Recommend this game until they change this.

Keeps crashing. First off, this game is one of the funnest and most addicting games I have played in year. Love the one time pay to play, love the art style, and the story. I have put some hours in exploring and getting really into the game. This may be part of Mormo’s curse, but every time I try to either defeat mormo or enter into the final pillar, the game crashes.....oh and any time I try to fast travel. Very frustrating, would love to see this fixed, if it does it will EASILY BE A 5 STAR game

Awesome. If you liked SNES Zelda and looking for a good game to play with a controller, this is it. People complain about the touch screen controls, but I had no problem with them as well. The game has its own charm and uniqueness to it, that just makes me want to keep playing. Been at it for about a week or so now, beat mormo twice, got a lot of the badges toys, legendary stickers and whatnots. The game has depth to it. It’s a longer game if you manage your time right on the overworld. This is my first review ever, just wanted to say it was def worth the download for me. Only thing I would add to the game is that you could sell stickers or items to someone or anyone for some kind of currency. Hope to find more game like this in the future.

Unplayable. This game seems so cool. I love the dungeons and the general idea, however this game is entirely unplayable with the touch controls provided. My character makes drastic movements from only slight changes in my thumb placement often times in the complete opposite direction I was intending to go. I play a lot of games on my phone I’ve never had this issue. I fall of ledges or walk into walls constantly and combat is insanely hard with this control situation. If a virtual stick that actually works is added I’ll update my review because I really want to like this game.i think you can use controllers so if you own a controller for your phone this game would be well worth your money unfortunately I do not and as such I must rate this 1 star as I can’t play it properly with the provided tools.

5star game except for controllers. I think most people’s gripe with this otherwise wonderful game is the really terrible controls. Unless it’s intentional, the controls are terrible and cause me to lose too often. Need an update. Once update, my review will be 5 stars

Still waiting for some kind of bugfix/patch. My save was deleted last year randomly after launching the game and I’m still waiting to see an update to fix the bug multiple users have written reviews about, yet sadly this game has still not been updated. I’ve lowered my rating to 1 star since I plan on uninstalling this app from my device now after seeing no fixes q___q Why do you do this, Devolver? Fix your mobile ports that paying customers beg you to do.

That Classic Feel. Positive vibes for this game! One of thee FEW & BEST games out worth the price. The game has a old school Legend of Zelda type feel with a new school twist. Great graphics and nuances in the game play the various toys aka weapons you get to use & power up to defeat enemies as well as different characters you can play from badges you collect along with smooth controls and game play should be one of the best games of the year! #YOUGOTAWINNER

Desperately needs control overhaul. Phenomenal game so far, but I just can’t enjoy it with the current control system. It’s unnatural and slow. I’m going to wait on playing it further until control system is updated as it’s ruining the game in its current state.

Please please please update controls. This is 5 star game if were for the controls. If there’s one major updat add the option for a fixed d-pad or visible control stick. I’m enjoying the story and world building but I can’t get past the drifting controls. I roll the wrong direction or wander into a pit due to the off kilter control pad. Hope this is something your team can remedy, for now I’m going to have to wait for a fix. :(

This game is Awesome! 😎✌🏽. Why I love this game: Well its simple. It plays like a top down Zelda game with a Twilight Princess feel to it. Of course its different in many ways but its so fun to play and a joy to look at. Has alot of replay value and Im sure thats done on purpose😉👍🏽 Im loving this game so far now off to year 300! Can’t move right. Controls do not work. Why did I just buy a game for my children and I to play and it doesn’t work. Revolver, you better fix this! 6 dollars and zero usability! I heard about control problems but this isn’t just a “it’s hard to use” thing, it’s a “doesn’t allow us to play” thing. I’ll give it an update to resolve otherwise I want my money back. What kind of a game gets put on the market that does not work! Awful

Save file <—- !!!. I played the game for about a week now, was on life 3 level 12 and just beat the boss of the game. I finally had some rare equipment and then suddenly the game had a error or something, when I said “okay” to the error I came back to the beginning screen and then I see that all my saves say “new game” and it recently happened. I would like to try to get my save back if possible cause I’ve made so much progress.

Amazing game. I just purchased this game this morning and it’s amazing love everything about it so far. But please can you add Icloud save support so I can play the same file and progress between my iPad and iPhone.

Crashed and lost my save game. I really liked playing this game right up until my 5th run through when the game crashed and lost my saved game. Bad programming. Crashes happen, that’s why you have backups and file checking instead of disappointing users. I’m not starting over, deleted the game.

Sneaky little game. So I bought to que this game up into the line of titles I want to play with the new Mfi controller rotor riot controller I got, well it snuck up on me, I now play this game every night, controllers are nice once you get down the speed of attacks and so forth, and the RPG elements, leveling, skills, so forth....well I’m a sucker for it, and the art and music is amazing, I have the kazoo song Stuck in my head, well done devs, you created a gem!

It good. Me like. It good. Me like. But to be honest it’s a really good game but it’s easy to get swarmed with enemy’s, and the bomb enemies, unless you have a ranged toy or add damage on you dart gun they will just make you take damage. So again it good. Me like.

Premium Perfection!. Normally, a game like this would call itself “free” while holding progression hostage for real cash. If not, it would’ve most likely charged a subscription directly or through Apple Arcade. THIS GAME IS BETTER THAN ANY APPLE ARCADE GAME AND ONLY CHARGES YOU $6 ONCE!!! Watch the video, read the description and buy the game! The ONLY thing I would ask for will hopefully come in future updates and that is MULTIPLAYER! Needs more ways to control character. I just started playing this game and I’m already loving it. I really want to give it a 5 star rating The only thing that is preventing me from doing that is the controls. I am finding it extremely difficult to control my character and choose my weapon. The game should be more keyboard friendly especially for people that have an iPad with a keyboard attachment. I use my keyboard alot and it would be great if you guys could add some sort of keyboard control option

YOU NEED THIS GAME IN YOUR LIFE. So, I was looking for a new game to buy that I could get engrossed in. I saw this app and watched the trailer and decided to give it a shot. From the first couple of moments, I was already hooked! This game is a piece of art. Everything from the visual, to the technical. The gameplay is seamless, no lag, no glitching. The artwork is just beautiful. The storyline is fun, and it reminds me a bit of Zelda in a way; which is a huge compliment. If you are reading this you need to just stop reading right now and buy the game because these devs nailed it.

Too many bugs. My main complaint is that there are too many bugs for the dungeon rooms. It happens too often that I stuck in a room with all doors locked, or the key does not pop up, etc. I have to either go back to the beginning of the dungeon and do it again, or give up because there is no way to proceed.

Control issues. This game is fantastic! One issue is the control stick is tough to use. The slightest quiver of your thumb sends our hero in a different direction. A floating stick/dpad would solve this problem. Any chance this change could be implemented?

Seems Fun, But Can’t Walk With Ease. This game seems like a solid concept and something I will really enjoy. I’m going to try it with my controller once I get home, but as of right now, I can’t use the on-screen touch controls because the joystick just isn’t a pleasant experience. I’m really excited to get into the game, though. Hopefully options will be added for on-screen controls.

EPIC! Except one thing. This is one of my all time favorite games! (Even though I’ve only been playing for 45 min! Lol) But I have a suggestion... why not be able to customize ur character I’d love to do that I don’t wanna have purple hair and dark skin. I’d love if u could choose the armor too! I love the graphics They are so cute 😍 I tried to email you but I couldn’t find it. Amazing Title!. This is such a fun game. It’s AAA in my opinion. Good luck finding something in the App Store that has this much life to it. Graphics: the cartoonish hand drawn look really is breathtaking. It lends to this world quite well. Controls: very fluid controls. Roll, slash, shoot grab and more very easily. Did not find them in the least bit clunky which is surprising for mobile games. Story: the story is not complicated but fun. Gameplay: locations are quite interactive and lively. The world around you is very cohesive. The characters are fun and all have their own personality. The time passing isn’t really too rushed and even the death aspect is rather well done.

Direct port of the console/PC version.... ... And that’s for better or worse. This is a fantastic game and the artwork is beautiful. It’s a great format for mobile play too, due to the nature of the time loop and adventure style. If you’re a fan of Zelda, and rogue-likes, you’ll love this. I will say, the touch controls need an overhaul for movement. It feels finicky and unnatural. Maybe an on-screen analog? It also feels a bit slow. Let’s hope an update fixes it!

Absolutely amazing game. I absolutely love this game, the graphics are also charming and the characters ooze life. I had An amazing Time playing this up until I tried to go into the sticker store and it crashed with some error text I couldn’t understand and erases my entire save data. Until they fix whatever did that I have to give this a 4 star review

Add a joystick please!!!. The controls of this game are just annoyingly hard to try to get used to and this NEEDS a joystick type controls because the ones in place are a major turn off for a lot of players also the majority of bad reviews are from save bugs that probably need fixed so it’s not the core gameplay that has the rating so low

Cute game it’s a 7/10. It would be a ten if this game actually let you customize how you navigate. The way you move through the world is really awkward and it makes the game not fun to play.

Amazing Game please add iCloud sync.. This game is amazing all it needs is iCloud sync so people can move from iPhone to iPad. Apple needs to force devs to include this in every game. It’s frustrating that if I want to play on my iPad I need to stick with it instead of having the flexibility of using my phone while on the go and the iPad when I’m at home.

Deleted Saved Game. I was liking the game so far (played maybe 2 hours total) and when I went to open it just now, my saved game was not available. This is infuriating. I’d like to play it again, but I’m not willing to do so until this bug is fixed.

pretty great!!. I loved this game, I spent a good amount of time on it and it’s absolutely adorable. Love the badge system, the character designs are cute. One thing that really prevents me from giving it a five-star is the lack of a joystick. I know, I know, you can just plug in a controller but not everyone has a controller and can only play on their phones so I really suggest fixing the controls.

Please add a visible control stick. Game looks great, but moving is such a pain because there is no visible joystick. It looks like he moves relative to where you initially touch the screen, but since there is no visual indicator of where you initially touched, the character seems to move at random. Frustrating

I love this game. This is my favorite mobile game by far. I have really high standards for dungeons crawler games, and without a doubt this game met my standards. But I just want to say that if you fixed the save file deleting bug and made the controls a little bit better, I would be really happy. But nonetheless, this is still my favorite mobile game.

Awful controls. The game art is cute and I was looking forward to exploring the world, but just moving around is horrible, trying to talk to other characters is nearly impossible, and it makes it just unenjoyable. I can barely get my lil dude to move two steps.

Ok but probably needed more content. The idea was cool but A. It got boring and B. probably did not need 5 basically the same “chapters” and just needed one big sandbox map with a good amount of original bosses, enemies and biomes.

The movement control ruins this game. The touch movement control is savagely, aggressively, wilfully bad. Worst in any iOS game. Not sure what they were going for, but the crappy touch joystick makes this game a chore to play. It just makes you feel bad. Would prob be 4-5 stars if it had proper controls. Also, I’m not using a physical controller on iPhone/iPad. I would just play console then. I play iPhone/iPad when I want to chill with touch controls. If you can’t make it work for touch, don’t launch on this platform.

Why I cannot trick the boss?. I planted many bombs on the floor, when the bombs exploded, it says “FATAL ERROR in action number 1 of Step Event0 for object obj_mine” why?

Many More Pros than Cons. PROS: 1. Beautiful and colourful artwork. 2. Sharp and Crisp HD quality that looks amazing, especially on my iPhone 11 Pro Max. 3. Interesting and fun storyline. 4. The amount of attention given to detail. 5. It's super fun gameplay experience. CONS: 1. The walking controls are very uncomfortable. 2. The amount of time it takes to acquire a reasonable amount of currency. OVERALL: This game is fun and stunningly beautiful to look at and other than those two cons, the game is perfect. CONCLUSION: I highly suggest this game to anyone who loves The Legend of Zelda, 3rd Person RPGs, and colourful HD cartoon graphics I really do love and enjoy this beautiful game.

Don’t play the game without a controller. Everything about the game is great except you’re always fighting to go straight and your character moves on its own when using the touchscreen please fix and I will give you a higher rating you deserve it

Glitch. So first the game was freezing every time I entered the second cave. during mid Boss fight it would freeze. I re downloaded the game and now my entire save file is gone. Please fix

Tell me how to play and I’ll play. Couple heroes down and what am I doing? Replay is cool but not if you’re not sure if you’re any good or even making progress.

Walking Is So Hard. I spend more time trying to fix the joystick than the actual gameplay. Its very sensitive.

Fun until... Game was pretty fun until the ridiculous golf club was introduced - turned to more frustration than fun after that. Don’t waste your $2, go buy some cigarettes instead.

Unplayable without controller. Another game ruined by lack of a “static virtual joystick” option. With a static joystick you can make fine motions by moving your thumb further from the origin. In this game, the origin follows your thumb which makes accurate motion impossible. I don’t see how this concept eludes so many devs.

fun but difficult touch movement. The left thumb virtual joystick doesn't quite work as well as in other games that employ the same concept, so movement is annoying.

Progress deleted. I was loving this game and already played for weeks when I suddenly opened it and my saved data was completely gone. How can this happen?? I demand a refund, I am not playing this game again as I can’t trust this will happen again.

On screen directional is messed up. Why is the directional button not joystick like?? You end up having your left thumb all the way to the corner of the screen. All games use joystick like onscreen direction for rpgs why did you guys made this like this??? I like to like this game but that directional pad you guys have messes up the gameplay!!

Love this game. Please fix the way the directional pad works feels a bit wonky

Yep. Have to agree with everyone else here and say this game is really great. The controls make me want to eat my own face, yeah, but great game besides that.

Unplayable on iPad. The walking control makes the game unplayable on the iPad. Seems to be a little more responsive on the iPhone. Bought this game for my 9 year old. She refuses to play it.

Controls are terrible. I can’t guide my character through even the most basic aspects of entering the first town.

Cute but nothing to it. The dungeons consists of one, two or three rooms... yeah. It is very cute but has almost no story and no challenge. Very boring after half an hour. Could be fun if it had any substance to it.

Seems fun. But the touch controls are so bad I can’t stand it. Also, way too much dialogue before I’ve even gotten a chance to explore a little and get into my first fight.

Must have for any LOZ fan!!!. Love this game!!! If you live LOZ and cartoony graphics then you’ll be right at home with this game! If you have this game for console then you’ll love it on iOS! $6 is a steal for this game!

Dumb. Why do I gotta pay for the game but y’all don’t offer joy stick controls, I feel like I walking in ice the whole time can’t even play.

Game crashing. Just bought and it’s already crashing just by opening a chest. What the heck man.

Wonderful adaptation. Fun gameplay. It is enjoyable. Excellent quirky chiptune like music. Horrid on-screen controllers. Would have been three star for that. But thankfully supports controllers and is played flawlessly with a controller.

Almost perfect. Honestly a good game and well polish. The movement controls however, kind of throws me off. Is there any way to have like a fixed joystick?
