Great for what it does…. Still crashes and can’t work with other apps behind it.. doesn’t work with all midi boards.. has sustain pedal issues.. other than that, it’s great.. can’t wait til it’s fully functional..

Doesn’t work iPad Pro 3rd Gen. I purchased MK SENSATION EXTREME 2.0 yesterday and it doesn’t work. I tried troubleshooting the app by uninstalling and reinstalling app plus the 11GB of additional sounds but it still doesn’t work with my Arturia KEYLAB 61 key MIDI controller. I am very dissatisfied with this purchase especially after seeing the hype with all the videos circulating on the Internet. I would like a refund!!!

THE UPDATE. The update has deleted all of my sounds…HELP!!!

My sounds are gone. I’ve refreshed it numerous times and nothing have been restored. Help me..

All I Need. This is there third app I’ve bought from these guys (NeoSoul keys, MKSensation, MKSensation Xtreme) and since this purchase I’m not using my other apps much anymore. In fact, it’s pretty much all I use now… Great Job thanks!

Beast for live playing!. This app is crazy. The value you get for the price completely blows me away. It does everything I need for live playing. The sounds are incredible. Atmosphere Keys 2 alone will get you all tingly inside. There is so much functionality in here, I can’t even begin to go over it all. There is some great YouTube content that you can get a demo of how it sounds. For a gigging musician, this is a steal.

Crashes. Sound patches to die for, I love it, the potential is there, but needs few bug fixes. When turning knobs on my controller, running midi thru the app it randomly crashes. And when activating a patch let’s say 1 thru 8 there is a loud thump sound. Would prefer if that could be silent or allow music to continue and not stop abruptly. For reference I have the new iPad Pro 2020 11inch. Tons of space since it’s still new. Nothing else running but the app.

Nice app but. Just like the other app fm tines. This is a great app but. Some other sounds won’t play properly like piano b MKS, an p3 piano b won’t play properly… for now I think I’ll keep it cause of others I like but if no change on sounds that drew me in that I want then I’m just gonna delete and need a refund

Going to be great once things are updated. Out the box this is an outstanding library. Some people are having problems loading stock sounds. I’m having problems importing sounds for custom set up and it’s crashing. Looking forward to the patches to fix. Jamal Hartwell thank you for your tireless labor of love for producing this.

Clipping and no access to the sound bank. Great app i love it everything sounds so good man its awesome The problem i seem to be having is that for some reason I cant access the sound bank. I push the arrow to open the sound bank and nothing shows up but I can open up the presets just fine. And another problem is the clipping when i play certain sounds together on build ups during songs or worship or churchy build ups before praise breaks. But other than that im really enjoying the app

Great app but does have some limitations. I love the stock sounds and the ability to use plugins as well as create sets. However, I have discovered that it has some limitations for sharing and transferring. After buying a new iPad, I discovered that the only way to restore a back up to the new device is if you backed up your old iPad completely on iCloud. You then have to restore you new iPad completely from iCloud when you first set it up. That is something I didn’t know, plus I don’t pay for iCloud storage so I don’t have enough space to do a full backup. Also, at the moment the regular backup option is broken with the current iOS update. Also, you can export presets from the iPad app but there is no way to import them. Therefore, I can’t share them between my iPads, I can’t share them with other users at my church that have purchased the app, and I can’t share them to anyone else that would like to have my custom presets that I have built out and tweaked. I have a YouTube channel and would like to share my custom presets with subscribers. I am working with support to see if anything will be done to fix the broken back up option or if there will be a feature added in the future for importing presets. I will change this review if something is done.

Needs to fix sound window. Arrow selection. So in. Sound 1. Sound 2 select window no drop down. Menu is provided …please fix…the side arrow selection doesn’t show all items To be selected it just goes through instruments one by one…which can be a little annoying…enjoying app outside of this minor glitch on iPad

Having trouble. I keep having to delete and download the app. I have already deleted all other sound libraries and still continue to have problems with the app. For some reason it will quit working. Can’t get any sound from it. Once I delete it and download it again it will work for a few days then do the same thing again. I’m using an iPad Pro.

Would like resize options. It was great on my iPad 7 but when I upgraded a few months ago to the iPad Pro it does not fit the screen very well and when I swipe up to close the app it always hits a key so I have to turn off the keyboard, but this is probably Apple’s fault for not recognizing swipe up to close an app before it hits an app function. I have that problem with xAir app muting a channel when I swipe up to close it. Also I would like the mute and solo buttons larger to make it easier to switch channels on and off without losing sound. Thanks for any help.

Once any Plug-in Loaded Any Other Action Crashes App. I truly can’t see how this made release. Should have been delayed. I’m sure there is more to this as I’m not a developer. But it’s disappointing. I bought this solely for the stacking and splitting sounds. The sounds are beautiful, but take up a lot of space. So the plug-in support is what I was banking on. There should have been a warning that it will only load one plug-in before crashing. As soon as the plug-in loader is used, the very next sound added will crash the app. I even tried saving the sound before the crash, and loading it up on reset, but still the same result. If a plug-in is loaded no other sounds can be added without crashing. If you want to mix a plug-in with. Factory sounds? Well you better add it last, because as I said even factory sounds cannot be added once a plug-in is loaded. This is a major bug, and should be top priority. It’s not false advertising, because A single plug-in can be loaded I suppose. But calling it a game changer when only one plug-in can be added before any other edits crash the app is a stretch. And yes I have bug reporting enabled. Please fix this. I will try another reinstall and update my review if this changes anything. I had to delete Midi Tools and Atom One before the plugins would scan without crashing. Maybe that has something to do with it. Edit: Reinstalled app on fresh restart. Scanned all auv3’s again and no dice. Same behavior. Only one plug-in can be loaded, and you better load it last. How are you supposed to experiment and blend sounds when changing anything once a plug-in is loaded crashes the whole app losing everything? If this is fixed this app will be as paradigm shifting as drambo. Edit 2: Okay, I’m done. Loading the AU version clears all scanned plugins in the standalone requiring a re-scan. What’s more scanning doesn’t function correctly in the AU version. I’ve waited weeks for this app. So disappointing.

Hoping for more. This app is a great improvement on the first generation and adds a lot of sound. For whatever reason it clips and crashes on my iPad Pro which is more than able to handle it based on the required specs, I’ve performed basic troubleshooting but there is minimal support if at all from the vendor. This is a poor business practice. I also purchased the desktop model and that also clips on my fully maxed i7 MacBook Pro with 16gb of ram. Seems the application isn’t complied correctly or something is a mis. Here’s to hoping an update fixes though am not holding my breath since I don’t recall them updating other apps but just discontinue them. The app repeatedly crashes every time I try to load any other third party or even its own manufactures patch using the build in feature. This doesn’t seem to be working on iPad. Other wise it’s a great set of sounds but needs some serious work still, might not be fully ready for prime time. I will still support the developer because he seems to be a trying guy.

Not quite there… yet. I really wanted to like this program. In theory, it checks all the boxes for me. The interface is easy enough but could use some work. I just have a few suggestions and too many bugs I have come across. For now it’s back to AUM for me. $25 is just too much for something this unreliable and unpolished … -DARK MODE… enough said on that one. -Larger mute area on the multi-buttons. Too many times I go to mute, but press the regular button instead which cuts off all sound for some reason and resets any external sound you were working with. -previous point where pressing the multi-button sound cuts off. (Not even sure why it just doesn’t just mute midi in the first place.) -Give us a dedicated button to access the plug-in faster instead of going through the sound selector -The 4 quick access assignable area resets making it useless. -Multiple sound clipping and cutting out. I am running an M1 iPad Pro. Don’t think I’m hitting cpu wall. Thank you for your time.

Fix issues. For me some of the sounds need a lot of work some of the patches don’t work well

Was my Go to Keyboard Rig. Not sure if it’s because of IPad OS 16 but it has stopped working. I am able to reinstall the app and it will work for a Sunday. But I don’t have to time to rebuild every week. I still want this to work but developers need to review the changes with IPad IOS. My other IPad Keyboards are all working.

Great app for live gigs! Like Mainstage!. Everything works fine on all of my iPads! I found out where to access the 3rd party plugins.

Trouble in Paradise. Will not function from my iPad to the midi controller or work station.

CRASHES. Love the sounds on this but I can only enjoy it for about 20 seconds into playing them before the app completely closes out on its own

Great app. Works great for me u need to have plenty of space and it sound good using a headphone output but it sounds even better using an interface

Great potential. There are a couple of things that are not quite right. It would’ve been great to have a 3 band EQ on the panel to fully tweak each sound to your liking. For example, some of the pianos are to thin. The second thing I’m not crazy over is MKS-20 EP1 and EP2 sounds more authentic on the first mksensation vst version. On the Extreme needs to be resample again. It has great potential to be one of the best vst library’s out there.

Love. Really good and worked for a while, all the sudden it’s not producing any sound. Is there any help with this or is anyone going through the same thing? I love this app please help.

Everything that MIDIculous releases is eventually wonderful!. I bought this within a few minutes of seeing that it was available. MIDIculous iPad music apps are consistently wonderful. In this case, there are crashes and things that don’t work quite right yet, but those will be fixed. MIDIculous has a great track record, so that isn’t a worry. I love the design, and the approach to making a wonderful live keyboard sound module. It’s gonna be great!

Not picking up my midi that works with other app. My midi works fine and all other sound app Including “MK SENSATION” the “free” one works fine with my midi along with all other alternatives I downloaded. I liked the free one so I purchase this only for it to not register and play my midi.

The best. I had to come back and rate this app after I gave it a 4 star rating before only because it needed updates. This app is now a 5 star and actually more for what you’re getting. Thanks to Jamal and Team for providing us with something that’s going to take over live and studio music production. And also for the speedy support and response to the update and as well as emails. I’m so excited that it’s here I’m using MKSensation Xtreme for live as well as production. The quality, sounds, and flexibility to me is next to none. The game is officially over now. Thanks Jamal

Crash booms. Fixed crashing on preset change swiftly Nice layered actions

I got a good feeling. This synth workstation is very promising. Other than random crashes, it’s running smoothly on 8th gen iPad (not pro) except for audio unit import - very crackly but it seems more of a software issue than processor overload. Way more presets would be nice, although creating user presets on this synth is literally half the fun. Please fix AU import and the crashiness and you’ve (we’ve) got a winner. Thx

Plug in loader doesn’t work. Factory sounds are good but when using the plug in loader it doesn’t load 3rd party apps well at all. Sound/velocity is completely out of whack that it’s unusable to use 3rd party plugins. Which is a bit disappointing as this was one of the main reasons I made the purchase
