Machinika Museum Comments & Reviews 2026

Simple and Effective Investigative Puzzler!. As someone who has put in numerous hours to 100% complete the entirety of the “The Room” series, and other tap-to-investigate games like the Faraway series on the App Store (which I also highly recommend if you like these types of games), this is a must buy. I will say I think some of the content is on the easier side in terms of puzzles - I never got stuck on something for more than a minute or two - however that does not detract from the experience. The puzzles were just involved enough that although simple, I still highly enjoyed them. I really loved the concept of having different tools, clearly inspired by the eyepiece from The Room games. I almost wish more was done with them or they played a larger role than what they did. The setting is a great idea, and kept me interested the whole time! Honestly compared to other similar games, the price feels like a steal! It’s a great little experience that I highly recommend, and I am looking forward to the sequel! Great job devs!

Not enough. I love puzzles, and even more I love puzzle boxes/ items, so this game got my attention! The gameplay was great, the puzzles were difficult but not impossible, and the storyline was interesting as well. However I am disappointed that I paid to buy the game, and there definitely was not enough content. Overall I think it’s a fantastic idea, it just needed more especially for a paid game.

Absolutely amazing. This was a totally unique, beautiful, mysterious puzzle game with a responsive interface. There was only a few times I got stuck and had to go online to find walkthroughs but otherwise pretty great. I had to restart a chapter once because I went out of sequence. Overall though I give it five stars despite the few things here and there because I haven’t played such an enjoyable puzzle game in a long time.

Somewhat wasted potential?. This wording is probably a bit harsh, but it's the only way I can think of to describe the game. Pros: Great visuals Smooth control scheme A couple of interesting game mechanic ideas Noticeably awesome sound design Pretty simple and mostly linear puzzler if that's what you're looking for Lets you try the game first before purchasing, even if the price is slightly high for the relatively small amount of content Cons: Pretty simple and linear if you're looking for more of a challenge; took only about an hour or so to finish. Surprisingly buggy, most of which caused softlocks (would lock you in place and not allow you to alter your view or interact with anything, were fixed by returning to menu. Occurred a handful of times across multiple chapters). Others were usually visual bugs, such as a clue being obscured by your inability to view it due to the object intentionally altering in size and shape as you progressed. Not a whole lot of content, plenty of other games offer far, far more for the same price. With some more fleshed out puzzles and far less linearity (and cleaning up some of the bugs), I'd be very interested to see a potential follow-up or something. But if you're looking to buy one of these types of games, this is an average option, not at all bad but there are better options in my opinion.

Hoping for more levels soon. I love this game, while they’re were a few bugs in the beginning, they eventually got solved and the game was very fun. My only advice: the next time more levels are gonna be added please make them relate to the ending scene to continue the story i think you have a very good game here with the potential to be a longer and very fun game

NEXT GAME PLEASE. enjoyed every second of it . The fact that it was soo different from other games and has its own mechanics works soo good...I didn’t personally have any issues/ bugs but my device was overheating a bit (can u add an option for graphics/battery save in the next game?) hopefully i dont have to way too long for the second game.👍🏻

Problem with the last level but they fixed it for me!. I own the game and have played it for many years. I love it as it is a lot of fun and it challenges you to think. I upgraded to the two new levels and beat the level seven and was 90% through level eight and I wanted to stop and take a break. I went to the settings and told it to pause the game and save my game standing and when I did it deleted my game and restarted me at the very beginning. Please fix this. They did fix it for me. This is a great game puzzle. I can’t wait for the next release.

Too short. The game was a lot of fun, but too short. For $3.99, I was expecting a longer game, I beat it a couple hours after I downloaded it. It end on a “to be continued” and I’m hoping I won’t have to pay another $3.99 for that one. The controls themselves were also slightly wonky, zooming in and out wasn’t very smooth and control over movement around the puzzles was slightly hindered. These were the reasons for the 2 star deduction. ***The game itself is very fun, intriguing story, cool graphics with moderately difficult puzzles that I had fun solving.*** I feel like I’d pay $.99 a chapter if there are indeed going to be 7 chapters as the game hints at, but $3.99 per chapter is too much for a mobile game that takes 2 hours to beat.

Strong Contender in the Genre. Like its competitors The Room, House of DaVinci and even The Chinese Room, this game has beautiful visuals, moderately complex puzzles and a decent, if not compelling, story line. Had to drop a star because the game had some issues, which were able to be worked around. Occasionally I would see the phrase “Insert English phrase here.” Also, had to replay one section that wouldn’t allow me to use the scope where it had to be used to complete the puzzle. Lastly, rotating objects to look around or to move a piece was unnecessarily difficult. Definitely worth trying the sample chapter. You’ll end up making the full purchase. Looking forward to part two.

Well done puzzle game. This was a lot of fun and certainly worth the money. A few critiques. The game was a bit glitchy and required me to restart a few times. Save progress was also spotty with some parts needing to be redone especially considering the need to restart due to glitches. A hint system would’ve been really nice, too. At least the option for it.

SO beautifully done!. This game would appeal to anyone who enjoys The Room series, House of DaVinci, and similar types of games. The graphics are simply gorgeous, the controls are flawless, design of the machines are absolutely fantastic, and you get hours of gameplay. There are no hints, which I appreciate. (If you get stuck, you’ll have to search the web, but don’t ruin it for yourself and seek out help too hastily. The solutions are usually quite simple if you just take the time.) To the developer: When is Part 2 coming out? I’ve been waiting for yearrrrs! I just played this a 2nd time and I’m dying for more. Please hurry! (And THANK YOU for this good quality game!)

Fun and pretty, short but that’s ok. Much like the Room or the DaVinci games, but with new interesting puzzles and story. Well worth it for a couple of hours of fun. Looking forward to the next part. Found a bug on the engine chapter— clicking the hood again after the fuel crystal has already been inserted led the cut scene to replay (crystal comes out of the box again). I had to reload the chapter to make it playable but wasn’t a big deal.

Best paid game I’ve had. I watch Chris Ramsey a lot and love watching him play mind bending puzzles. This game gave me that experience at my fingertips. The story, tools and puzzles are well thought out, and difficult without being absurd. Thoroughly enjoyed spending three days playing through the game and look forward to future similar ones!

(Updated) Enjoyable Puzzler. Nice little brain teaser, nothing too difficult though. The touch controls need work, they can be very unresponsive which got me stuck a few times as I thought I had tried something and it turned out that the game hadn’t registered me trying to move it. Overall I enjoyed myself despite the clunkiness, I just wish it was bit longer.

Can’t wait for more. I remember playing the demo of this game and thinking that it was incredible. Well, years later, the full game is out. And holy crap is it awesome. I can’t even put into words how much I love this game. It is definitely worth the price and I have already played through it several times. I cannot wait for more from your company. I wish you good luck in all of your future endeavors.

Loved it. I just discovered this game and it‘s really good. The incredible look of it and the ingenuity. The puzzles were at all different levels and that kept me going. The clues are logical. You still have to do some real thinking but, knowing that the clues are ACTUALLY telling you something you CAN understand, it gives you incentive to keep trying to solve the puzzle.

Works great after day one patch. Fun game, a little short, and the puzzles are a bit simplistic, but overall an enjoyable way to kill a few hours. The game is a decent length, delivers on the controls, graphics, and even the story, although a bit light is enjoyable. I would have enjoyed more challenge, maybe more complexity to each puzzle, but overall a good game.

A good and compelling little game.. And I do mean “little”. It’s very short, and I finished it in about 3 hours. Machinika Museum is a good example of that very particular “The Room” style item puzzle games. But there are some issues. Most pressingly, it’s very easy to soft-lock oneself, necessitating quitting to the menu and restarting in order to reset a puzzle. And speaking of puzzles, a lot of them are based on...Nothing. No clues, no hints, nothing to uncover or think through. Your only bet is brute force trial-and-error, which sort of makes sense within the game’s context, but is still frustrating and not at all fun. Given the ending, I expect we’ll see a sequel in the future, and I look forward to it. As long as the devs listen to the community.

A lot like The Room series. Didn’t know what to expect with this game…was hesitant about spending $5 for a game, but for me it was worth every dollar and I can’t wait for the sequel where we will continue our repair of alien tech! It wasn’t as in-depth as The Room series, but I love how realistic the graphics are! I did have to consult a walkthrough a few times when stumped by puzzles, but it was a great game none the less! Great work team!

Wonderful game - you’ll want to savor this one. Great atmosphere, beautiful graphics, intriguing theme. If you’re a fan of of puzzles or aliens this is worth playing! I just wish it were longer and am anxiously waiting for a follow up. Admittedly, I kind of flew through this one in 3 short sittings. I just couldn’t stop myself from seeing what came next!

Glad to find this puzzler. The vibe and level of challenge made it good for nighttime unwinding. Special compliments on the attention to detail with the visuals and sounds! Theme and in-game tools set it apart from similar apps, like The Room & House of DaVinci. Thank you to the developer for creating and for making the first chapter free to check out; happy to pay for the rest. Hope to see more!

Really enjoyed this game—looking forward to game 2!. This was a great game—I had a hard time putting it down. It was just the right balance of challenging and solvable, plus easy to use game mechanics. I’m really looking forward to the next game—I hope it’s available soon! There is a tiny hole in the story line. I hope it’s not a spoiler since I’m not giving any hints about the actual puzzules, but if the ship has a visible hole, how could it support life during extraterrestrial flight? Also, does it make sense to assume that the atmosphere used by the alien pilot would support human life? Other than these two things, the story hangs together well, the game was super engaging, and it left me wanting more. The price point was also perfect for the length and quality of the game. I really prefer paying for a good game over watching endless ads.

Really nice. There are some issues with the touch interface being off to extreme edge of the item you want to interact with, and the comments of the (clearly bonkers) museum researcher are misplaced when opening the final container. EDIT: Touch problems fixed in second update. Gameplay much enhanced. That said this is a nifty game. It is short, but so was the original Room. The world within the game looks lived in. It has heft. The puzzles are not nearly alien enough, but I’m not sure that’s possible anyway. The artifacts are a lot of fun to play with. I’m looking forward to the sequel, and will be perfectly content to pay for it when it arrives. Thanks to the devs for a wonderful experience.

Beautiful but short. I love these types of puzzles! I had so much fun playing it I never even hesitated to buy the game. I recommend that you do though. Four dollars for a game that takes a couple hours to beat it just seems a bit ridiculous. Know if there is more coming soon and I just have to wait and I don’t have to pay more money than that’s great but if I have to pay to play the next parts it’s totally not worth it. It deserves five stars for the quality and integrity of the game itself I would give those two stars back if there was more to the game that I don’t have to pay anything additional for.

Fabulous. Very cool game. Has similarities to “The Room” and “Da Vinci” games...with lots of details to explore and mini-puzzles. Not as long as those games, but it was all very logical and clever. Devs did an amazing job with attention to detail and artistry. Thank you! Side note... we had no problems playing this game on an IPad Pro. There were a couple times where things didn’t operate properly...ch 6, mask door shut and couldn’t proceed, and the slide pots on other side went the wrong direction....but exiting and continuing the chapter solved the issues with no problems. Wish people would be more patient. It is quite difficult to make games like this and certain glitches will happen. It appears the devs have been responsive and quick to repair those things.

So far so good!!. I’m just beginning chapter 4. So far, I’ve really enjoyed the game. If you’re someone who likes games such as “The Room, House of Da Vinci,” etc. you might like this one. I’ve been waiting for a game similar to the two I named above and so far this is the closest I’ve found to them on iOS. I like it because you have to use your brain but it’s not so difficult to where it’s frustrating and you have to use a walkthrough for half of the game. Not at all. I’ve had to use a walkthrough for one thing in chapter 3 but that’s been it. Anyhow, to the developers- I think you did great creating this game. I haven’t lost interest and I don’t think I will. It’s been interesting. Thanks! 😁🖤🖤

Looks promising, but is unplayable on iPad Pro with controller/mouse. This looks promising. The imagery and lighting/mood are great looking. The trouble is that it is unplayable on iPad Pro when using a controller or mouse. I have a iPad Pro 12.9”. With the large screen it is much like a monitor and I like to use a contoller rather than touchscreen when gaming. For most games this works well. I tried using my MFI Bluetooth controller (SteelSeries Nimbus) but the controls are backwards, or mapped to the wrong buttons, and don’t allow use of the game interface. I tried it with a standard USB mouse, but I ran into similar issues. I kept getting an error message “Controller unplugged - Plug the controller back in or click to play with mouse.” I tried multiple combinations, but nothing worked. I ended up turning off the controller and unplugging the mouse. The game itself is interesting. I did have to drop the scissors on the cardboard box many time before it triggered the opening process. Please update for proper controller/mouse usage on iPads.

Awesome. I truly enjoyed this game. I’m looking forward to the continuation. I am playing on an iPad, and I had a little trouble with controlling two of the puzzles. One of them was a slider. I slid too far to the right, and my button ended up under an inventory item. I could not maneuver it without accidentally choosing the item from the inventory. I had to restart the chapter and slowly slide the button. It worked fine after that. There was a second puzzle that I had to work very carefully also. I had to restart that chapter too. A little frustrating, but the game was so much fun that I really didn’t mind. Please hurry with the next game...can’t wait to continue the journey!

Don’t be fooled by the look of the graphics. This game while similar in many ways to games like The Room series. This lacks ingenuity, storyline, and has several bugs it still needs to fix. Like one in particular is the overlapping of inventory line to gameplay causing gamers to have to restart chapters to set puzzles straight. This happened to me twice. Very frustrating! The storyline tells of nothing but a stack of boxes. How boring! Locks are clever so I did give taps for that.

Not bad. Needed a lot more time in the oven. As a concept, it’s pretty good. A lot of disbelief has to be suspended to make some of the puzzles make sense (eg aliens using the English alphabet and making there security crackable by an moron with an iPhone) but that’s fine. The controls, however are bad, especially when it comes to rotating things. The iPhone notch obscures the inventory. And it is waaaaay too easy to click on the wrong thing. These seem rather easy to fix and the fact that they were not is disappointing.

Great Game. Can we remove the curse words?. Hi developers! I want to start off by saying that the new chapters for your game are amazing! I’ve on played through 1 and a half because of one, major for me, flaw. Please please please put an option to take out the curse words, or just make them look like the asterisk marks(*). If you do that, I can continue playing the game and recommend it to all my friends! Thanks!

Damaged goods. I was so frustrated because I can’t get anything to work. I checked online and I’m doing everything that I should but the image does not respond the way it should. Ruined a perfectly good game. I really would have given it 5 stars if it had actually worked. I gave it a better review before but now will have to delete it and lose $4.99. Thanks for nothing. This apparently does not work well on iPad. Made it to chapter 3 and the scroll went blank with only colored dots and no way to reboot it. Have never heard anything from developers. Shame on you.

Frustrating. I love The Room and House of DaVinci so not new to this type of game. Upon reading the other reviews, I must have triggered the soft lock frequently. I was doing everything right but nothing happened. Double checked with You Tube video and found I was doing everything right but not triggering the next step. After I quit and returned it would work….hence my frustration.

Well worth it for me. It’s seven chapters, each taking ten to fifteen minutes and it’s in the style of The Room but not as challenging. That said, I found the story easier to digest and this is more casual which is just what I wanted. I liked the use of the scope thing, and screwdriver. The printer was pretty neat at first but it was always pretty obvious what to do with it. Still it adds to the aesthetic so I hope it stays in the sequel. I had a bit of trouble zooming out of the crates the devices came in. All in all, very enjoyable and IMO, reasonably priced for the amount of entertainment I got.

Good puzzle box type game. This was fun. Good atmosphere, good controls, and some cool puzzles. Not nearly as challenging as the room series, but some of the puzzles were challenging to figure out. You get so focused on finding a key to the puzzle sometimes that simpler solutions are not apparent though right in front of your nose. There were a couple places where the controls seemed to be a little specific on where your fingers needed to be to slide the thing open, but that’s a minor nitpick. There was a glitch at first where the game wouldn’t run but they patched it in about a day. The credits were also kinda messed up too (didn’t scroll but static over the final cut scene then the screen went blank and played music for a while) but they weren’t able to duplicate the issue, and its just the credits and end cut scene effected so no worries there. I’m sure it will get fixed eventually. Overall I really enjoyed it! Just wish it was longer! I finished it in one night when I was up with insomnia. Still I felt it was worth the price paid.

Wonderful puzzler! Immersive!. This absolutely incredible puzzle game is a work of art, as you become an investigator- first unpackaging , and then analyzing mysterious alien artifacts. But it’s not so easy! Getting into each crate or tube is just the first step- next you have to figure out how to access the item, then explore its functions to deduce what it is! And you must use deductive reasoning, observation and trying things, and use clues and discovered tools in order to make the artifacts operate and finish the analysis! The only drawback to this game is that you must buy it after only one simple chapter in order to explore its richness (well worth it!), and if you have no patience or logical thinking you may not enjoy it. For me, it’s hard to put down, and it’s not so difficult that you can’t solve each puzzle. Each chapter just gets better and better! Highly recommended!

Poor interface. Looks like a promising game along the lines of the Room series, Unfortunately the touch interface is very poor. Most times it will not register your finger touch. Hopefully they will resolve this issue so I can continue the game. As of now it is unplayable. Changed to a five star- the developer fixed this problem with an update and notified me personally. Great service and great game!!

Not even close the room..way easy, way boring. The graphics are good and the mechanics work but other than that not much good to say. The story is boring but what's worse is the game play. The puzzles are linear and very, very easy in my opinion (especially for fans of games like "The Room" or House of Davinci"). Not one puzzle will cause you to scratch your head. It was more difficult figuring out hour to unlock a puzzle that the actual puzzle. This game had potential as I liked the idea of having special tools to help you but the execution was very poor. Definitely not worth any money to play....waste of $1.99 and 40 min of my life.

Clever and entertaining. I must say, I really did enjoy the puzzles. Usually confused at first, I’d find my way through them with a bit of thinking. One issue I did find was in the chapter with the anti gravity device. At one point you had to slide two pieces in opposite directions to proceed. I accidentally slid it too far and the pieces wound up below the the inventory and tools slots. I could zoom out further without leaving the device entirely. I’m on an IPad Air. A quick fix was to hard quit the game and then go back in. Other than that, it was a great game and I can’t wait to play the next one.

Great game but beware of bugs in the later levels. This game is excellent and the gameplay for all the puzzles have been very smooth up until the two latest chapters. Chapter seven is so buggy that I’ve had to restart the chapter 3 times because the puzzles were not loading properly and items in my inventory kept disappearing. I’m playing on a brand new iPad that’s only a few weeks old and it’s already glitching. I’m hoping bug fixes will be released soon.

Really cool concept. The idea for this game is amazing and I’m all for it. The game is made by a small team in France, which is also really cool. The game is 4$ after the tutorial, which considering it’s a pretty short app game it seems a bit more than expected, but it’s all to help the developers. I hope this concept can be expanded upon, not only because it’s fun to go through each machine, but also because you don’t see much like it around.

A fun and intriguing game, wish there was more content. A beautifully designed game with intriguing puzzles and fun controls for manipulating and examining the alien devices. I enjoyed playing but finished after only two days of limited casual play. I had fun with it and examining the alien devices filled in some spare time, but the price for the playtime is a bit steep. The game is very well done, interesting puzzle concepts, and an intriguing theme.

Would be 5 stars but…. I bought this game to play on a long flight. I absolutely love puzzle box / escape room type experiences. After playing the tiny “demo” that is free, I went ahead and purchased the full game and started playing in the terminal. I got three chapters in (which isn’t far at all) with no problems. After getting on the plane and getting into the air, I turned the game back on and I was greeted with a “purchase the full game” message when I clicked continue. This game, after buying it, requires you to be online or will deny you access to the offline game you paid for. This is a terrible way to treat paying customers for game that has no online elements to the game play. I’m currently requesting a refund through apple as the game was unplayable when I needed it. That aside, the gameplay is fun though I’d suggest less messages to the player that are more helpful than they should be. Id recommend the game but I can’t recommend anyone support this anti-consumer behavior.

Best puzzle game I ever played!. I’ve played em all, and THIS one had me feeling almost sick because there’s no sequel or prequel to this as I type. The fact this game has an ENDOSCOPE and digital ITEM-SCANNER/duplicator takes it to a whole new level; it’s not the stale “mystery lens” gag of The Room & DaVinci games. Don’t get me wrong: The Room series set the bar, and high, but this game was just so much more imaginative and creative than all the others. No two ways about it. PLEASE make with another, Littlefield!! I NEEEED!! Ha!

Stuck on chapter 3. Another reviewer commented that the scope in/out controls only work if you hit the far right edge. They don’t work at all for me (on iPad). The tools buttons on the left partly obscure it, perhaps that’s why. But I’ve seen other spots already where the hit area of the buttons is off target. Seems like this one’s not ready yet. Also really awful that progress within a chapter isn’t saved unless you manually exit to the menu. Switch apps without doing that and you have to start the section over. [edit] Soon after I posted this there was an update that fixed the iPad usage issues. Looking better so far, bumping up the rating.

Beautiful Graphics and Fun Puzzles. The graphics, sounds, music and puzzles were all great! This games combines all of the above to create a great gaming experience. I did run into a couple of places where I had to go out of the game and come back in to see the revealed puzzle piece. It was a little frustrating at first but def not a problem after I figured it out. I just wish the game was longer. Looking forward to the continuation, I will def be playing that one.

Amazing, yet lacking…. Graphics - PHENOMENAL Music/Sound Effects- Big thumbs up! Story- kinda there… hard to critique without giving spoilers. A suggestion would be to have some sort of journal or narrative between chapters; like… the main character’s thought process as these discoveries are being made — and NOT in the middle of the puzzle, revealing unnecessary hints to solving the next step… and speaking of- adding an option to disable hints would help add a challenge for those looking for something more, without reworking this otherwise masterpiece. Also, who is the person we are playing? What is their role? Like… are they working in a shipping/receiving department of some company, or just an individual collector of some sorts? Difficulty- 4/10 Overall, I thought this game was too simple, & almost didn’t purchase it… the chapters were way too short… as I previously mentioned, the hints are unnecessary & wouldn’t fix the lack of difficulty, but it would certainly help… or at least have the option to choose if they are on. Overall, this game is awesome & amazing… I wouldn’t change anything about the existing puzzles but hope to see significantly more challenging puzzles added in the future! Edit: After completing the game, I rescind some of my previous remarks regarding THIS game, & would forward those suggestions to future projects. The only big suggestion I would make, is to change the prompt for writing a review to the end of the game. My attitude toward this game changed quite a bit as I progressed through it. Very much worth the $4.99 & dare I say, even more. Perhaps a way to give this game more of the value it is worth would be to charge $0.99/chapter… (with the first chapter, or tutorial chapter being free) this way a big price wouldn’t deter people from trying it out. I am hooked & eagerly anticipate what you have to offer in the future! Thanks!!! 10/10 =]

No save game in new chapters. Ugh.. I love this game and was happy to replay it from the beginning in order to access the new chapters. Up till then it was a 5 star game. But since reaching chapter 7 it no longer saves my progress. I had to play chapter 7 twice and now I’ve played chapter 8 three times and, once again, it’s lost my progress and is starting me back at the beginning of the chapter. All I did was get up to make a cup of tea. Ugh. This is ruining the fun. I hope the devs will update and fix this glitch. For now, I’m exhausted and am putting the game away. Let me know if and when it gets fixed.

It wants to be “The Room”, but its not … yet. This one is promising but needs to be longer. In addition, a couple of the puzzles were solved unintentionally as I was shifting between combinations of moves. Then the scene moved on before I could even see what I had done! Solving a puzzle by random chance is not at all satisfying. The graphics and sound are good; up to the standards of “The Room”, but the scenarios and actual game play are a bit “weak” and just not there yet. I would prefer more depth, and seven brief chapters are really too short for the money paid. I am not sure I would buy in to the sequel (whenever it shows up).

A MUST HAVE!!. If you love games like “The Room” or the old classic game “MYST”, you will love this game!! So entrancing and challenging! And I love how the story all ties together at the end!! You don’t just solve amazing and creative puzzles… you figure out how alien artifacts work!! The only problem I had with the game is that I got through it too quickly! 😄 WHEN IS THE SEQUEL COMING OUT?!?!

Review. Awesome keep up the good work

LOVE IT!!!. Absolutely loved the story line, love there aren’t hints and you have to figure it out yourself and it’s easy enough to do and not too hard. I can’t wait for the next one!!

Great game - let down ending. A really enjoyable game. Such a shame that the ending was a disappointment. Seeing the whole flight would have been worth the game price, instead of just suddenly arriving at the destination. You guys missed an opportunity to be truly amazing.

Good but vague. Had to watch YouTube videos to get through. Nice visually but just too non-intuitive and some puzzles just annoying. 4 stars for work put in.

Progress not saved - frustrating. The game is really quite good - I’m a fan of puzzle games. But I won’t continue to play as it doesn’t save as I progress. I don’t want to start the same chapter over and over . Please give us the option to save progress as we go - then I will resume.

Excellent but a little short. Excellent game. Great graphics. Puzzles are interesting. Just a little short for the money compared to other games

Annoyed. Playing on IOS. Asks me to drop the scissors I can’t even figure out how to do that.

Great Game. This Game fills the void left from The Room franchise- great puzzler, great story.

See below. Doesn’t work properly

Bv. Is a really good game easy to understand very enjoyable and an all around good game

Not loading on Iphone 11 ios 14.4. Game does not load on iphone 11 running ios 14.4

Machinika Musem. Screen with camera not showing picture .. will only show pink screen. otherwise a great game...

Good but too expensive for the small number of chapters. I was expecting a few more chapters for this price. Chapters are quite short too. Beautiful game and fun to play.

Excellent puzzle game. Really imaginative and good puzzles . Needs a hint system for dummies like that have to resort to the walkthrough.

Endoscopic Camera failure Chapter 2. The buttons on the left of the camera (forward motion) will not work. Very disappointed as I had just paid for the whole game.

Loved the game, interesting story. Wasn’t too difficult but not too easy. Great graphics and storyline. Only bit I wasn’t happy with is the “To be continued” but I never like incomplete games anyway. Any idea when the next one will be out?

Won’t open. Game won’t open on iPhone 11 Pro Max iOS 14. Just hangs on loading screen then Crashes.

Me Fella. Paid for the game, played 2nd level till I put aside for another day, then when I went to play it again it asked me to buy it again. Had to go on line and play via App Store add. ??? Does this mean thats the only way it can be played. Also the Edoscopic camera doesn’t display anything but a pink screen.

Decent puzzles, WAY too expensive. Not a bad puzzle game but it’s a con price wise. I finished it in about 2 hours. There are many games that give far better puzzles and far longer gameplay for free. Not impressed and will be requesting a refund

Good but too short for the money. Puzzles are relatively easy for an experienced player so I got through the game more quickly that I thought reasonable given the price. I saw comparisons to The Room in other reviews. It is not as complex or long as those games.

Trap. Kind of trap not showing payment for the game, until roll down, beware players

Great game.. Great game, awesome puzzles that make you think, amazing graphics and a great story. I was pleasantly surprised with this game and can’t wait for the next episode.

Please read. Anyone that would like to play this game, I warn everyone, the first level is free, but to proceed it cost $7, now after the first level I actually enjoyed the concept, gameplay and puzzles… but beware there are only 7 levels and I completed it in one day, now for a game that is 550mb download it which also costs us money, I feel RIPPED OFF….

Great game. Love this game as the puzzles are hard but not impossible. Keeps me going.

A little buggy.. If your into puzzle games then this one is for you. Ran into a few bugs, but nothing a restart didn’t resolve.

Too easy for the price. Like a lot of other people have said, paying $7 for a game that is finished in a day is ridiculous, the sequel better be free

Good storyline. I love games like this. A few things aren’t as polished as The Room. But overall it is still a good game. Wish there were more levels

Ripoff. If you were to just play this game for free well don’t bother downloading it because you only get 1 chapter to play

I want to like it but it is very buggy. I have some issues with the responsiveness of the game. I tried to play today but the saved game has not saved up to the point I played, and now I am stuck with 2 keys in a device and no way to turn them.

Great puzzle. With a bit of work and observation the clues can be found. Best puzzle for a long wile - recommended

Disappointing for the price. Much too expensive for such a short and easy game

Cannot have full game. I bought the game but when i finish the second level it say i have to buy the game. your last update did not fix the purchase button.

Am I that dumb?. I was so excited to start a new mystery game. The graphics look awesome. Right out of the gate I collected the scissors which I’m supposed to drop onto the top of the box. But they won’t drop! I’ve tapped, double-tapped and turned and dragged and zoomed out. All I get is a dialogue box that says “A rather unremarkable pair of scissors.” Is this a bug or am I missing something?

A Bit on the Short Side. While the game was enjoyable to play, I found the puzzles were not as challenging as they could be. The game is beautiful but maybe a bit short for the price.

Hurry Up with Atlas. Very “The Room” -esque. Love it. Only 2 game apps have ever gotten a 5 star from me. This is definitely one of them (The Room series being the other). When does Atlas come out??

Awesome way to waste time. Great game. Not happy with the length of it for what you pay.

Great game. Please tell me you are working on Part 2.

Fun but too short!. Looks great, plays great, sounds great but after playing other games in this genre, this game is way too easy and short for the hefty price tag.

Wonderfully difficult. But you just have to stick to it; and with luck, tomorrow, you’ll come up with the next solution.

Easy but great quality. Game was a bit easy but I really enjoyed it for a few hours. One thing for software to check out, you can keep putting the power unit core into the engine while trying to work on the engine puzzle - animation gets a bit squirrelly here

Mechinical museum. Superbes intrigues qui nous font travailler les méninges... juste TRÈS dommage que l'on doive payer pour un jeu qui ne dure que si peu de temps... J'espère que nous serons pas obligé de payer la suite!!!

Chapter 7 is impossible to get past. My device can not zoom in and out fast enough to disable the machine, which is extremely frustrating, because I enjoy the game. Perhaps it requires a controller to get the game to respond fast enough?

Très bien. Je viens de terminer le 5ième chapitre et jusqu’à maintenant ce jeu est assez captivant, 5 étoiles 🤩

Very Nice. I am happy to spend money on a quality game. Graphics are nice and the puzzles challenging enough.

Great game!. I have played many games like that and this one does not disappoint. Grab your 6-10 year old and play it together. You will have a blast. The child will be able to participate and you will have fun. Once in a while the parent will have a challenge too. (Depends on the parent.) :-)

Stuck. When you are stuck, the game becomes a bore.

Worth it. I really like this game. It is immersive, entertaining, challenging, yet not too difficult as to be frustrating. A variety of fun puzzles to relax with - and great graphics. We’ll done!

Need some hints!. Started out ok but there are a lot of tasks that you just can’t figure out because they don’t follow normal reason. I’ve been stuck for over a week but not only are there are no clues, I don’t even see this task in any of the walk-throughs so I can’t move forward. Very frustrating!!!

Not interested in your newsletter. I chose this game because it does not have ads and is simply sold for a onetime price. Please stop doing this newsletter reminder junk.

TOO SHORT. This game was ok but not worth it. Too expensive for such a short game.

Quick & fun little game!. Just challenging enough.

Good but short. bought full game and really enjoyed both the puzzles and the story. it’s short; those used to the room or house of da vinci will find it about the length of one chapter. still, what’s here is very well made and fun to play.

Accrocheur. Demande patience et observation

Fun but…. You get about 5 minutes of playing time, doing 2 tasks and then you have to buy the game to continue so I wouldn’t download unless you’re gonna buy it cause there isn’t much to do in the demo

Mechanical museum. Very enjoyable with nice graphics. I hope there are more episodes coming.

Bravo. Great game. This is right up there with house of DaVinci and the Room series. Only disappointment is that it was over to fast. I would pay more for more chapters. The graphics are outstanding. Twice I had to restart a different chapter because it froze at a puzzle location and I could not advance. Just redid the chapter and it worked. Thanks a lot and please hurry next instalment. Rod

Amazing Game. I never rate games but I had to for this one. So good, I played this every night. The puzzles are unique and although there are no hints you’ll get it if you keep trying. Every piece adds up to one big puzzle. The end was abrupt so I sincerely hope there’s another one I can play.

Good game but have bugs. I can’t finish the game …have bugs repair It please

If you have to pay. This game should not be listed as free! You can only do one puzzle and then have to pay $6.99 to continue. That said, it appears interesting and at another time I may purchase.

Very much enjoyed the game. I am left wanting more! I need part 2

Ça coche. Vraiment trop hot le puzzle

WoW !

One of my favourites!!. One of the best looking and immersive puzzle games out there! The sense of discovery and curiosity keep pulling you in for more!

Fun game but …. It’s fun but all they want is your money. You only get one chapter and it isn’t that long and then your prompted to buy the whole game. You want people to play this make all chapters playable when you download it then ask for money for special items. Money grubbing asshats

its worth five bucks, don’t be cheap.. It is an incredible game! And the price is fair, it looks like a bunch of hard work was put into it and it seems as if there is some ongoing lore as well! Props to all who put their work and mind to it! Five bucks is less than how much this must’ve been worth to even work in it! There was no in game purchases either!! I can’t wait for the next part!

Intéressant. J’aime ce jeu et surtout pas d’indice, donc il faut travailler ses neuronnes et c’est ce que j’aime, avec patience ont fini par trouver, sagit d’être logique. BRAVO!

Puzzles are very vague. While most of the puzzles were quite easy to solve once you understood what you needed to do, what I found frustrating was the length of time needed to understand what they wanted you to do with the pieces/mechanisms even once you had found them/figured out how to manipulate them.

Un bon divertissement. Un beau jeu avec de beau graphics et casse-tête intéressant pas trop simples mais faisable. Recommande

Wonderful graphics. I enjoy complexity and rich graphic and this game has both. It rivals some award winning games like the Room series. Like a few of the other reviewers, I too found that the game often did not save the in-chapter progress, which then had to do over again to continue. While it is quite linear and doesnt allow much free roaming (which in my view would make it even harder to solve), I still believe it’s well worth the money. The camera is very difficult to operate in certain parts of the game which was distracting at times, but overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this game.

Love it!. Was hooked enough to purchase and then immediately got stuck lol. I love the challenge and there are now two new chapters released. Like The Room but with less help! Want a challenge? This is the game for you.

Bug please fix. On level eight I can not access the door please thanks

Nice game. Well worth the six dollars I paid for it to have no ads I hope you do more

Awesome!. The best game since The Box and House of DaVinci. I LOVED it.

Disappointed. I really liked the game and bought the full version. I now can’t play the final chapters because it’s saying I didn’t pay when I did and have the proof I paid. Wasted my money

Short chapter a bit easy. Game play is nice but short chapters for the price, not very hard

?. It seems like it would be a cool game but idk because after like 2 minutes it asks you to pay. Maybe if you let people experience the game a little more they’d buy it?

Bugs. Appreciate the bug fixes, but there is still another one I can’t get past on my iPad: When the chair presumably, is supposed to levitate in Ch 7 after placing the item on the back, the screen goes black and nothing else loads. I restarted and had same problem.

I really like it!. Great game. Really enjoyed the attention to detail. As the another reviewer said they did a great job and the only issues I ran into were fixed by resetting the chapter. Can’t wait for the next one.

AMAZING. not a big mobile gaming person and never get into games I download but the story line and puzzles in this game are soo cool… feel like it should be made into a movie or show…also not too hard to need clues it’s just the right difficulty!!

Beautiful, well done, but short. The developers have made a game that looks beautiful, is intriguing, and is not so clever with its puzzles that you lose your mind trying to solve them. A couple of the puzzles seemed to get solved without me realizing why they were solved but that’s better than getting angry over a solution few would ever get. My biggest complaint is that the full game is fairly short for the price but that’s a minor one. Overall the game is stunning to look and interact with. I found it smooth, bug free and just difficult enough mind benders to keep you occupied without getting frustrated. I look forward to the next segment.

Short tease. the free portion of the game plays out in less time than it takes the game to download and install, it’s not a chapter, it’s a tutorial bit with a few steps and three steps to open a box only to be denied a look at the contents unless you pay first. Plenty of reviews by those who’ve paid say the game doesn’t last long enough to merit the price and given how little content they can spare as a draw, I believe it.

Short but fun. I see complaints about the price -v- the length of play. It is relatively short, but it is fun and beautifully crafted. It is worth the price. Plus, the devs left it as if there are more to come. Hope so. I’d pay for another episode. A few even. We need more games like these.

Not bad but a tad short. Great puzzle game with a pretty decent story behind it as well. Highly recommend if your a fan of The Room series but some of the puzzles are rather short and don’t have a ton of depth to them. The story was a little short as well but look forward to the next in the series.

Great little game. I got this game to tide me over until the next installment of House of Da Vinci. I’m glad I did! Great little game, but much too short. Has all of the same feelings of immersion and the puzzles are clever, but not overly confusing nor difficult. Well done!

Zooming. This is a nice game. Zooming in on every screen is a little cumbersome. Can we have the screen set to the zoom level where we don’t have to zoom and we can just slide the object around this we need. For example the printer Thanks!

Satisfying sounds and short puzzles. I downloaded this game a few days ago and then purchased the full game when prompted. The opening chapter was the perfect teaser to lease me wanting more. I was happy to purchase! I have been enjoying the short chapters and the ability to return back to the game when available or convenient to play. The puzzles are relatively easy and would rate it a 5 star review if there was a noticeable balance in puzzle difficulty. The aesthetic and sounds are my favorite part! The developer really did a nice job with making the sounds super satisfying. Download the game, you’ll enjoy it!

Fun and engaging!. If you like Meridian or other puzzle adventure games, you’ll love this. Great story. Puzzles were challenging enough to keep you engaged but not so much that you end up believing it’s broken. Very happy with the number of chapters. Now that I’m done, can’t wait for the next one.

Love it. I haven’t seen anything approaching the Room series in way too long—thank you! Great graphics, puzzles are decent and don’t really need hints (though it wouldn’t hurt to have them:) and I really appreciate how you keep upping your own personal bar. Please don’t stop!

Overall great game. The game has a great storyline but can be frustrating at times with no hint button (just makes you try different things). Looking forward to the next installment!

Fun!. Delightful game, if you are into the Myst / Room type of games! Not too difficult, tho there was one puzzle I just could not figure out the logic behind (The last puzzle in Chapt 6 where you turn the red lights blue) and the magnetic screw driver was a bit frustrating. Otherwise, worth the purchase price and Ill definitely be back for the next story: Atlas!

Good Game. Preordered. DL’d and got the dark screen problem. Not only did they fix it but they responded to my review. Thank you. Played the game. It’s fun. It has some unique ideas and puzzles that I hadn’t seen before. It wasn’t very difficult, but it was entertaining. Worth the money. Thank you!

Glitchy controls. The controls are hit and miss. Zoom is the worst; you have to pinch across the entire screen to zoom out. Then, because you can’t orbit while zoomed, you have to figure out how to position the camera or it won’t zoom on the right spot.

Love it. It’s like The Room puzzles. A very cool 3D interactive game. You’re dealing with mysterious and futuristic devices that at the end it means something. Beware: Chapter 7 constantly gets glitches. I had to restart that chapter a few times to make it work. It looked like you got stuck but it was glitching actually.

Surprising. I have not had this much fun with a puzzle type game in a while, I do not feel guilty at all about purchasing which is unusual because app type games are always so brief. I cannot wait for part 2.

Very enjoyable!. This might be one of the best games I have ever played on an iPhone. The puzzles were nicely challenging, but not impossible. Nice atmosphere and sound. Sometimes navigating and manipulating objects was a little annoying, but overall I thought it was very engaging and clever.

Worth it. Fantastic (albeit short) game. This game has a similar feel to the old Myst/Riven games. Fun puzzles with a fair amount of complexity. The developer has a few grammatical errors, but it doesn’t detract from the overall quality of the game. My only recommendation is to add more content. PLEASE MAKE MORE!!

End of Chapter 3 Lockup. Played Chapter 3 twice. After the two scroll images are merged the green power bar shows. But the merged image does not rotate and fully power the green bar which displays the drawing of where the scroll is used.

The game. This game is really good to pass the time M and makes your brain think outside the box on solving the puzzles it took me probably in couple days to finish but if you wanna take your time and only finish one per day you could probably finish it in a month probably

I tried. They fixed the opening glitch but now it doesn’t save progress at any level. Can’t tell what chapter you’re on from the main menu, but I think it’s chapter 5–the wand with the symbols disappeared so I can’t finish the level. Not willing to do the entire level again so I’m out. It is beautiful and I hope they will do further testing and release a version that works better. It would be worth it

Fun game. This is a clever and engrossing game for fans of games like the Room. Sometimes, however, the controls are a bit clunky and take getting used to. A few more clues would help a bit. Still, I highly recommend this game and hope for more from the developer.

Incredible!!!. Wonderful graphics, good story, interesting “puzzles”!! This is a really good, quality game. I can’t imagine the time and effort that went into this. So imaginative. It reminds me of “The Room”, how you can look around and such. Just wonderful.

This was a great game.. I personally loved this game, graphics are graphics when it comes to mobile games but your artists did a great job I loved how each machine got more different and more difficult but as it did the story goes even deeper. It’s was a blast can’t wait for the second game!

Save feature needed. This game could be fun and interesting, however it’s extremely frustrating spending a decent amount of time on a puzzle and have to close out of the app and come back later and have to completely redo the chapter from the start..... why isn’t there a save feature or something so you don’t lose progress if you have to do something?

Unplayable. I too hit the dreaded bug where drag and dropping the the scissors on the top of the box early in the game does nothing, regardless if zoomed or not, on my IOS 12. So I can’t continue and must delete. Not can I turn off the annoying tutorial that removes all the fun of exploration to evaluate the game (that tactic is so 2015... a lot has changed !)Reading the miffed people who paid money for the full game I see why I need to be so critical about this trial. I hope Remi is paying attention.

Can’t wait for the next one!. I adore these games. This one is similar to my favorites: House of DaVinci, The Room series, Birdcage, Jackbox, Machine City Escape and the Doors Awakening. I’ve been waiting for this ever since the first chapter was put into the App Store and it did not disappoint.

Love it but…. Love the game but it was just 7 levels?! Then come to look for the second game and there is none :( if it’s going to be just 7 chapters at a time can you disclose that? Because although I only paid $2 if I knew it was only 7 chapters and then left to buy more and then there isn’t anymore?? I would’ve saved my money. Very disappointed.

Frustrating & Glitchy. I enjoy these type of puzzle solving games but became frustrated while simply trying to get the scissors to drop on the box (first chapter, iPad version). Graphics are wonderful but a help/hint button would be nice so I wouldn’t have to leave the game to find ways to move forward after just minutes in the game!

Nice start. Was very immersive and gave me same vibes as the first room game, short yet intriguing from beginning to end, I hope this company can go along the same road and develop the levels further in the next installment.

Amazing. This game is so much fun and makes you really think to figure out some of the puzzles. The animations are so cool and the story is pretty nice. I can’t wait for the next one and I really hope it’s as good as this one because this one was good.

Nice Game but I could not finish chapter 6. Restarted this chapter twice but at the section where you line up the lights using the scope I was unable to get the third light to work no matter how slow I moved the circle. Disappointing to say the least considering i paid for the game.

Awesome Game!. I absolutely loved this game! I have been hooked on puzzle games ever since playing the original “Myst”, and this one has a really cool plot to it. The combination of easy and hard puzzles is perfect! Can’t wait to play the sequel. Well done!!

Decent. But, feels like they added some weird puzzles. I liked the little demo. But, after I paid for the app the next puzzle has a ridiculous puzzle of spinning these yellow chips around a circle. It doesn’t feel like it belongs. It feels like they added it just to add more to the game and not actually contribute to the game.

Nicolino. I love bits and pieces of outer space puzzles and their connection to other beings not from our own world , please make more of them. This Machinika puzzle is very interesting and also educational at this point of the game it’s been very enjoyable thanks for creating it

Awesome game, keeps your mind active. I never write reviews but you have to play this one. I am an automotive tech. It keeps my mind occupied and has the same feeling of satisfaction of fixing a complex electrical problem when you finish the machines.

Not free. I’m not a fan of these deceptive games that get you to start playing for free and only then tell you it costs money to continue after you play awhile. Just be up front with the fact that you have to pay for the game. The game has promise but developers need to be honest up front: tutorial is free, then you have to pay. Deleted.

Issues. Played the first chapter but when I went to buy the game it charged me but nothing I closed the app multiple time replayed to see if maybe I had to play again and nothing

Beautifully Done. Developer fixed issue I was having, and I have to say...this game is beautifully done. The puzzles really keep you engaged and the graphics are stunning. Great job!

Game does not work offline. I purchased the full game and have played to chapter 6. I cannot continue playing the game when on an airplane because there is no internet connection. This is a very poor design “feature” of what otherwise would be a great game. Hopefully the developer will fix this until then I cannot recommend this game is you travel a lot or are frequently off the internet.

Works great now!. Update: The game works great now no black screen. My only gripe is I wish it was longer! Good game! —I’ve been so excited about this game! But after the 3 opening logos nothing loads, just a black screen. Using an iPhone 11–

Not paying for this game. I paid for the previous game Machinika atlas and had too many problems with it. Left an email message about it and never got a response back. Why pay for this game? No thank you.

Looks nice but very, very short before paywall.. I pre-ordered this as I have been a fan of the Room games. I was expecting this to be as good as that but a nice similar game. There was a very brief tutorial and a very small intro chapter. I was done in less than 10 minutes. There’s no way to even tell what the game flow is like. Too short which makes me wonder if the whole game is short. It looked very nice but I’m not buying it because the preview wasn’t worth the time.

Not Worth the Price. I hardly ever buy games but this one got me. I really enjoyed the mechanics and thought the puzzles were going to be interesting. The problem? I beat the game in 3hrs if casual on and off game play. The puzzles aren’t hard. I would expect for $3.99 there to be more than 7 levels. Don’t waste your money. Go for a free to play game with less graphics and more challenge.

Hard but not too hard.. Pretty good game. No problems playing it on my iPad. Some of the puzzles seem almost impossible— until you finally figure them out. Well worth it for the small price.

My comparison was the room…. Well, disappointed to say the least. I’m an old Myst player… I do like a good puzzle… if it works! Couldn’t get into the fist box…!! good lord! I want a refund! If I could give less I would. Not worth the money. Don’t waste your time.

Great game!!. Overall this was a great game with good puzzles and a little story. Puzzle difficulty was not too hard for puzzle game veterans. Only had to really think once or twice about a specific puzzle. I enjoyed the game and look forward to the sequel.

It could have been a great game. The graphics are great and I like the game play...but it definitely needed more QA before being released. First it wouldn’t launch at all and then it doesn’t save your progress. I had to redo the same stuff 4x and quickly lost interest after that...even though I purchased the whole game. Also there are no hints or help if you’re stuck.
