App update. Good till latest update on 11/8/23 Can no longer play audio without screen on Need to make a radio/audio only app

Great content, awful app. Salem news brings quality content but their reach has to extremely limits by their poor grasp of IT Media.

Picture in Picture/play in background gone after last update. Used to use app every morning to watch and listen to Hewitt and Gallagher but the last update took that usability away. PLEASE FIX IT SO I CAN CHANGE MY REVIEW

Can’t get the sound to play on my iPhone.. I’ll keep working on it, but without the audio the App is useless.

Crashes. The app crashes every time I start it on my Apple TV. It also crashes every time I select shows at the bottom of the app on my iPad.

Unwatchable. How did you manage to so badly design a streaming website? Live broadcasts cannot be played picture-in-picture or in the background, so if you’re watching you cannot do anything else with your phone. This is a degradation in service from the previous version that makes the app essentially worthless to me.

Too much buffering and freezing.. That’s all I had to say. Wish it worked better.

Where did the live show go. This app was developed by amatuers Hugh Hewitt is way past his sell date.

Who runs this stuff. I wish i could listen to the shows that are on Salem, but they make it impossible. The volume in the app is ridiculous. I constantly had to turn up the volume full blast on the shows to hear the host but then their commercials and breaks are so loud, they distort the speakers. When hosts show a video, oftentimes the audio is of the Salem app bumper music, not of the video. In the car, the station os alway having technical difficulties. Please fix the app so o can actually listen to the hosts.

Missing feature. I love this app just wish there was an option to listen to any show or media within the app through the background with audio only, instead of always needing to have the app open and running to listen. I want to be able to have my phone in my pocket while the audio is always playing.

Conservatism rocks!. I enjoy all the radio hosts on Salem! My favorite is Brandon Tatum. He is so genuine, speaks his mind, unapologetic about his Christian faith, admits his shortcomings, talks to audience like we’re sitting around in the living room together! Chris Stigall too is a one of a kind!

Interesting Concept. I like this option much better than have to stream from a website or radio station app/website. ***Only issue is that on Apple TV the feed will time out and go to the screensaver. Major inconvenience IMHO***

Something wrong with the latest version of this app. I am allegedly watching the “live feed” of the Dennis Prager show on the app, while I am watching the same on YouTube. YouTube and Salem apps indicate the feed is live, however, Dennis is wearing a purple shirt on the Salem feed and a pink shirt on the YouTube feed. Audio content is also not the same. I do not believe the Salem feed is current as the audio on the radio matches the YouTube feed. The feed on Salem is from MLK day.

Worthless news alerts. I get news alerts all the time but can’t click on them to read the story nor can I find it in the app. I just received a Breaking news alert for the object that was shot down over Alaska that happened 5 days ago. Seriously? Don’t bother if your wanting to keep on up to date news. Find another source.

Great app!. It brings the Salem Radio Network personalities together in one easy to use App. All the different talents from across the Salem landscape brought together in the palm of your hand! What’s not to like? The interface is intuitive and performs quickly and smoothly. Finally, the Salem Radio Network content is there - Easily worth 5 times the purchase price! 5X!!

Officer Tatum show!. I love Officer Tatum’s honesty and straight talk! He’s funny, interesting, smart, and not afraid to say what he really thinks! I enjoy hearing about his faith and his life as a police officer! Keep up the good work, officer, Tatum! Whoop whoop!

Where is The Shaun Thompson Show?. Salem radio media app that has prager but not your second best bravest most courageous host that speaks truth to power corruption and trying to save what remains of once great nation? Seriously. Gallagher who talks about his sidejob of being in a musical and even at his age is still afraid to speak truth to power and man braver than rush was Shaun Thompson can't even be the last show on page. He needs to be heard by as many ears in nation as possible to help. You know I'm right and you are courageous media company trying to help so whoever runs app for you is hurting your company and not helping save the only nation , the last hope for mankind. That's why not 5 star. Not possible without him. I'll add stars back if you get app manager to include your best shows no problem. Thanks for trying to help

Videos won’t play. When I first downloaded the app to my iPhone, I was able to watch Officer Tatum, the main reason why I downloaded the app. Then the video stopped mid-play. Thought maybe I lost connection, but since then, I cannot get the videos to play. I tried turning cell phone off and on, reinstalling the app and nothing!

Didn’t work so I deleted it. None of the videos worked. The app was super slow and heated my phone up. I heard about this app from the Officer Tatum show so I downloaded it and the first use it doesn’t work. I tried it several times and still nothing.
