Alight Mobile Comments & Reviews 2026

Who would allow this mediocrity?. Upon opening the app it is aesthetically appealing but after trying to navigate anywhere in the app, you’re met with hurdles login screens that you’ve already logged into two factor authentication multiple times just to go back-and-forth. There’s no going back without closing the app. You’re better off just not using it because you’ll never get anywhere. There’s absolutely no useful information on this app that you can’t find somewhere else inside your corporate portal. So many questions. First being who approved the decision to use this app? Probably the same guy who thinks iPhones make good work devices.

Horrible. This is the worst company. I’ve been with another FSA company for decades and never once had an issue with anything. Alight makes things too difficult at every point. Any charge to the account needs double verification. I use to be able to by tylenol at CVS, use the card and it was approved. No issues. Now I have to use their horrible online site, submit a receipt through their complicated process. The app is useless giving minimal information. When you chat with someone it takes them 5 minutes to reply for every question, even the simplest of them. Personally, I would rather not save $500 in tax savings and just pay out of pocket then deal with all of this.

I love the convenience. I can pretty do anything from within the app. It’s quick and convenient. It makes me feel I have control and instant view over my money and benefits. I would give it 5 stars but there is something odd about using the app on my iPhone. I log into the app but while I’m in the app and says I should open the app for better experience. Been like this for about a year even after getting an update for the app.

Needs some basic improvement. This app is connected to my employers benefits & while it’s good for displaying info, it’s lacks basic upload capabilities if you need to submit a file or receipt. The only option is the camera, which is no good when most of my receipts are emailed to me, not printed. Or I have option to download from the provider as opposed to printing. It means, I have to always go to the website for reimbursement requests instead of using the app. This should be basic, so it seems like a big flaw.

Site works EXCEPT Reimbursements. I have logged on several times over 3 days using 3 different computers and even deleted and reinstalled the app BUT when I click on Reimbursement the page goes blank except for the word Reimbursement and stays that way for 10 minutes until the site times out. I contacted a Representative who keeps saying reinstall the app which makes no difference

What’s the problem?. I’ve seen the negative reviews. However, far as I can tell the app is about the same speed as the web site and pretty much displays the same information. I may end up using it for data information to be plugged into Quicken, we’ll see. As far as Alight being the usual bunch of Wall Street money grubbers trying to manage or snarf your hard earned 401k money with non-public, non-reported, “mutual funds” with difficult to determine costs, got no argument with that. Which is why I removed the bulk of my 401k to a self-directed IRA back when my company made the shift; depends upon whether your company allows for that or not, I guess. But the app does what it says on the tin.

Abominable!. If your company uses Alight to manage your benefits, it's proof that they couldn't care less about you. It's one problem after another. The call support reps are polite, but a call will cost you an hour of your time just to end with them telling you they can't help you and they'll put in a ticket. Last month's response re: the ticket said they had resolved the issue (a problem with their app and website) only for me to find the same problem this month and the action (a very important one) that they said was set up for my account specifically was not. The incompetence is truly unreal. I haven't gotten a response yet for this month's ticket...so the saga continues.

Not user friendly. Tried logging in a month ago and couldn’t find my organization and no one could help me. Then now try logging in, my organization is in the list now, but when I request to change my password because I couldn’t remember what is was. Got a temporary password sent to me to and when tried using it to log in it said my user id didn’t match. You just gave me a temporary one so when I get in I can change it. But I can’t get in with temporary password. This is so frustrating. I hate that my organization had to go with this company and app to activities to get discounts on our health insurance for 2026. App not user friendly!!!!

Unusable. This app has hit a new low. Everything about it is frustrating and upsetting. The navigation is atrocious—clearly not designed with mobile users in mind. Finding anything is an exercise in patience, with far too many nested menu options that make it nearly impossible to locate what you need. Worst of all, there's no clear way to view or pay bills, which is one of the most basic features you'd expect in an app like this. It's mind-boggling how something so essential could be overlooked. I sincerely hope the developers take these issues to heart and implement some serious improvements in the future. Right now, this app feels more like a headache than a convenience.

Alight mobile app. I just downloaded, signed into the app and while it does give one certain account information, it does Not allow one to update personal information such as email address, phone contact, etc. As a retiree my old work number and work email address should Not show as my current information. The ‘Review/Change details’ button sends one to a page that says ‘Your request can’t be processed’. This should be looked into by the developers or maintenance people of this app and corrected immediately. Then you will get 5 stars.

4.8 average? Not likely. Look at all the recent reviews and you’ll see the average 4.8 rating is highly suspect. This app is worthless…it literally forces me to login using my company credentials, which being SSO, means I basically can’t check any of my personal information on my personal phone. Trying to create a separate login routes the user through endless login prompts and turns the app into just a webpage that doesn’t even display correctly on a phone. Finally after logging into the website (not the Mobile app because it’s not possible), I am unable to check my FSA balance because it’s not even an option.

Can’t sign in after upgrading to iPhone 13. I never had any issue using this app until I just upgraded to an iPhone 13. Now I can’t sign in. I tried changing my password and it says I’ve successfully changed it, but still won’t log me in. I’ve changed my password twice and it’s doing the same thing both times (says “your entries do not match with our records”). So frustrating. It doesn’t even give me the option of using Face ID either now (and I DO have Face ID enabled for Alight). Help please!

Lacks an Important Option. I only use for a Health Reimbursement Arrangement and would like to be able to add remarks when submitting a claim, not to solicit a reply, but to provide additional explanation when it might be helpful for claim processing. It would also be nice to be able to request changes to recurring amounts when Alight fails to update. Example: I had premium increases for insurance premiums that I expected to be updated by Alight since I bought the insurance through their agent, but continued to be reimbursed the old premium amount. I tried calling today, but lost patience after over 45 minutes holding.

Needs a HOME button and Apple Health testing as it does not work. This is my company’s new app to help centralize benefits and encourage wellness. However it will be costing my company a lot more time for me to manage such. The app does not have a back to Home button on any page: when you go down a section for perhaps 8 screens, you have to click your way all the way back through all the screens you just navigated - how frustrating given the amount of branches in this app. Furthermore the app seems to be missing the required permissions to enable Apple Health tracking: when you link it will tell you that is linked but it is not as the app never invokes the Apple Health permissions screen to enable it to read my data so consequently it does not track steps automatically. In addition, I signed up for a challenge to manual record each day if I have met that challenge: however it does not allow you to save any confirmation of completion. The result is an app that takes a lot of time to use and fails to track anything about your health - it also seems the $s my company is providing by tracking things in this app is a con and not achievable.

Disappointed. I am truly at a loss for words. When you have a large company, you would expect a well structured program to navigate easily through. Well, that is definitely not the case here. I have never seen such poorly designed and frustrating as this website. When you try to open the billing page (for example), it opens an error message and tells you to close the window. There are other situations within the app that is truly frustrating and disappointing. What are they doing with their finances? It seems to be going in their pockets and not to help and assist those that pay their salaries. If a company operates as such, it shows their poor customer service and support to us. I am going to be looking for other options.

Pretty to look at but can't get my money out anymore. In previous versions, I used to be able to figure out how to get my money out of the brokerage account. The help files (if you want to call them that) have you first transfer money into the brokerage money market fund, and then you have to transfer money from your brokerage account Money Market Fund to your Core Funds. It's easy to transfer money into your brokerage account, but the clicks and chats take you on a circuitous journey to nowhere when you want to transfer money out of your brokerage account. I've been working on finding some resolution for two weeks with no luck so far. I'm sure I'll be able to withdraw money before the end of the year, but it ought to be a crime to make it so difficult to accomplish it on your own. It's really not the Apps fault; it's the same on the website.

Disappointing at best. As far as a useful tool for managing my HSA, this is the worst one I’ve used. 1. It ran me through logging in 4 times before I could see my account. How a faceID? 2. Once I was looking at my account, when I would follow a link, half the time I was logged off. 3. When I tried to have a look at the HSA store, which is a joke. If won’t let me buy OTC meds at Walgreens, then at least carry those in the HSA store, but they plenty of sunscreen. 4. I can not believe that everything needs to be submitted for reimbursement, and then when submitting for a reimbursement, they don’t even ask for a receipt? Did 5th graders make this app? The developers of this app should have to use it to manage their health care spending and see how they feel then.

Alight is not all right. The only thing worse than the app is the poor service associated with services in their application. This company has no problems publishing incorrect and deliberately misleading information about investments, returns, and HR related services provided. Interesting how many of recent reviews are 1-2 stars and look written by real people. Short, bot, spam like, suspiciously short positively reviews appear to be skewing averages. Consider putting your money somewhere else as soon as you have a choice. Ethical concerns experienced with Alight also extend to their apple reviews. yea this is too true to be written by a bot.

Works better than the online site. Feels like they did it on purpose, but the website is always giving me trouble to log in, after log in is not always running (“we are experiencing some cuz, please come back later”) The app seems to work reliably and makes easy to find some information (I.e., providers contacts) Does not replace the website for me, as I prefer a real keyboard and a big screen, etc.

Optional Menu Picks Hidden. If you’re doing simple things the app performs well. The annual enrollment went well. Checking thrift plan balances went well. However, finding the RMD amount was a bit of a struggle. Accessing the full site to verify the amount of a withdrawal required me to set the default browser to safari from DUCKDUCKGO. I kept getting prompted for login credentials and then back to the menu after the new tab was created. Possibly it had something to do with popups. I’m not sure, but a simple 2 minute exercise tools about 7 to 1 minutes. I can’t say with the edge based version behaves better.

Weird. I cannot access the leave portion of the application. When I press on Leavepro, it takes me to a broken page each time. I’ve tried on the app, my desktop - chrome, safari, and internet explorer. Because of this I haven’t been able to complete my leave documents. I had someone from Alight call me to ask me to log into my portal and update the documents. I called back and was sent to an operator. He said if the caller didn’t leave a name there wasn’t anything he could do.. I asked to be forward to a different person or someone in IT.. said he couldn’t. Odd the that page is broken, but no one can fix it. Odd that someone from alight called me and I call back but not able to speak to anyone. Just weird.

Updates makes user experience worse & worse. I use the app to track my reimbursement $ that I receive from my company. We use to be able to see the whole balance, including any carryover from the previous year. Now it only shows current year. Trying to find the previous years information was difficult. I shouldn’t have to spend 20 minutes trying to search for things. Once I log into the app, I should see my current available to spend complete balance. I’m going to rethink using this reimbursement account next year. I thought using this account would be a great way to save $ but it’s becoming more and more difficult to find how much I actually have saved.

4 stars for Customer Service, App is not so great (2 stars). Using the app is frustrating due to lag, glitches and random reloading issues. Not user friendly. The website is a little better, but not by much. Although I will say that the chat feature under contact us is the best place to get information and ask questions and the representative are very friendly and knowledgeable. The representative for phone inquiries can’t see some information and feels a bit pointless although all individuals were amazing and tried their best. Using the chat bot feature “need help” is only good if you don’t know how to navigate the site and only tells you where to go for information. The information on the app may not be up to date or available to see, such as conversations and notes made for your account. Any contact and or additional information should be available to the app user. Chats with representatives also should have the option to save conversations for references if need at a letter date. Feels a bit like the app user is in the dark about their account and requires contacting customer service if additional information is needed.

Alight Mobile. The app is so confusing and I’m pretty efficient in traveling through apps. I would like to suggest that the first page after logging in should have two options: Active Employee or Retiree Make a selection then it should open if your information is An Active Employee or Retiree otherwise tell you that you are in the wrong portal. Then after you are successfully entered you information can be viewed. This app is so confusing.

Horrible app, shame on Adecco for using this junk. My company (Adecco) recently switched to slight to administer its benefits and manage FMLA leaves. This group and app are a complete joke. Had my FMLA leave denied because the app doesn’t submit information to add time to a leave when it says it does. Customer service isn’t any better. Spent an hour with a representative trying to get it fixed but no one seems to care. I really hope this company and Adecco get sued over this. Their level of unprofessionalism is extraordinary. I do NOT recommend Alight to anyone. It’s a complete NIGHTMARE! If you need to make a claim or add to an existing one call and talk to them directly or you’ll get denied every time. I would rate their app and service with a zero star rating but the App Store won’t let me.

NOT easy to setup. After three or four tries, I am finally able to create a user account. If you make any mistakes, it erases all of your input and makes you start over from the beginning. So the first time I must’ve had an illegal character in the hint field, which is an optional field the second time, I had a letter in the Hitfilm that was also a letter in my password so again had to start over blanked everything out. This is silly so I’m just gonna forget the hint field all together and hopefully this thing will allow me to register for gosh sakes, put all of the things you can’t do on the first page to at least give us a chance, don’t pull out edits from nowhere and then make a start over with a blank screen. Aargh!!

Worst experience. The app is extremely difficult to use and when you try to call them, the prompts send you on a never ending loop of not being able to speak to a representative. After hours of trying to speak to a representative to transfer my funds out of the plan, they did it wrong and were sending the funds for the Roth portion to the correct BD and the traditional funds to the wrong BD. I will be extremely happy when my funds are out of their control. I would have never known there was an issue unless I constantly followed up with the process.

Informative but a little awkward. Generally informative and useful. I like being able to see the performance and ratings of each option. The one thing I found tedious was trying to go back to the previous window. It kept taking me back to the first page and I had to re-enter all my previous choices. Navigation could be improved.

Chip. Hello! I love the fact that we, as retirees, hv a website to support us during our journey but no information is provided to designate what it can be used for nor how to access it! I hv attempted but to no avail; that’s why mine is still here, at the end of each year! If it belongs to us as retirees, why can’t it just be sent as a check or deposited into our bank accounts? I hv yet to figure out how this works totally after 4 years! I wld gladly return receipts for purchases. Is this a human test of some kind? I’m totally tired of playing it. Why can’t we keep it simple I.e. receive, spend and report expenses, if needed? Otherwise, what’s the point? Please direct me to the correct source for more education on this issue because U hv yet, to this date, hd the pleasure of using the funds! I Hv submitted receipts but nothing returned! Who is the contact that will respond???

Alight Doctor information is incorrect. Went to look for a doctor on the Alight website in my area and almost all them were listed at the same address, which is not possible, and mostly the same phone number. The doctors did not work for the facility at the address listed and most of the phone numbers provided were the same facility, again wrong information. It makes me wonder what other information is incorrect. Not sure what the Alight app or website would be used for other than looking up this information. They use health grades for reviews and Bios so there is not much benefit using Alight that I can see.

Frustrating. App won’t allow my credit union checking account to be used for automatic monthly payments but WILL allow me to make a one time payment each month with that account which, strangely enough, is stored as an option along with my other bank checking account. My credit union account number is also my SSN and the app warns me of that and tells me that I can use the last 4 digits then won’t access the account monthly because all it has stored for the account number is the last 4 digits which my credit union doesn’t recognize as my account. I used the message function of the app to notify them and never got a response.

Representative of en masse poor quality software. The problem with this software is not unique to problems of current IT industry which is proliferation of properly written and tested software. For example reset password, which worked fine and redirected to the login page. While trying to login - it says user does not exist. To a business user that would not make sense. To a technology specialist the potential reason is a bad design or bad implementation where it’s syncing behind the scene, but the functionality does not handle that or give the user notification that come back this may hours later and try. This is the pandemic of software industry today where massive scaling created silos where components are built individually and stitched together at the end - and the end user experience is left to the fate of the end user.

Good but extremely difficult to sync with other financial apps. They have made the security of this app so extreme it won't sync with other programs without hours of work. Even if you succeed, they will change something and knock you offline. I have moved the majority of the money in my 401k out because they are so extreme. For example, Charles Schwab can't keep the connection to them. Really makes me sad.

Clearly the ratings are stacked. There is no way this app has a legitimate 4.8 star rating. It is the most convoluted and difficult to use interface I have ever seen, slow and extremely confusing to use. I have to click on the account balance repeatedly in multiple summary screens and wait for pages to load just to see a breakdown of my holdings and then to get to the brokerage account I have to find the hidden option and several more clicks later actually see what the holdings are. Forget actually seeing any historical charts or balance history or making trades or changes to the investments. It’s a nightmare of an app compared to Fidelity.

Sad buggy system. My husband, who's the money brains in our marriage (I'm an artist, prize winning published author, love event planning, PR, communications, and publishing glossy magazines for the likes of Realtors Association for the greater Sarasota jurisdiction; same for a regional State Farm office in Maryland), is a retired board certified Financial Advisor practitioner of 25 years, with one of the oldest and largest true financial advisory firms in the USA. He's trying to help me complete the process to retire from State Farm. And we keep running into bugs with the app, as stated to be such by State Farm retirement reps we end up having to call, wasting our time and theirs. And of course Alight does NOT provide direct support services via phone. So we're left in the dark until we can call State Farm retirement services the next day. Since my husband has also been a customer of State Farm Insurance (auto & housing) for more than 40 years, he just might escalate the concerns and problems encountered with Alight to the appropriate VPs in State Farm HQ offices, who will want to know how things really are like for their upcoming retirees and this buggy app "Alight Solutions" can't manage to provide real solutions!?!

Uploading docs. I’m being required to upload a receipt for a claim and when I attempt to upload from mobile app it says, “The information that usually appears here is currently unavailable.” When I go on the website from my pc to upload docs it says it only accepts specific formats so I changed the format and even tried to upload as an image but it won’t accept it. I had to do this several months ago for the same purchase but for a different amount and it went through just fine.

Non-functional. And I mean completely non-functional. I try to log in, and it pops up a request to enter a phone number. Presumably this is to set up two-factor authentication. It sends me to the web, where I can log in (so I know my credentials are right), but when I go to the personal information page to add my phone number, there’s no way to do it. There’s a link to change my email address, but not my phone number. Back to the app - if I decline the request to add a phone number, it just dumps me back to the login screen. Very frustrating. After the latest version came out, I tried again. Same annoying waste of time. I’d rate it zero stars if I could.

Don’t expect it to work. Almost regardless of the task, this app is unlikely to help you accomplish it. It’s not intuitive in any way, requires an excessive number of steps to do anything, and then likely will error out. As I work to enroll in benefits for 2026, I can’t get any of the tools to load. It just offers a “Continue” button that doesn’t advance you. This has been my experience for over a week on multiple devices. But even before that, I can tell you it’s next to impossible to know for sure what “incentives” you’ve earned, what your balance is, and what’s outstanding. The process to make a “claim” against the balance is also far to cumbersome.

Good luck with lump sum rollovers. Info is scattered about. UI jumps back and forth between app and website. Distribution flow is confusing—I just want to roll my pension to a 401k, but it keeps asking me for ACH banking info? “Mail to participant” option says no address on file, but my address shows up everywhere else. It shouldn’t be this hard. I shouldn’t need to call and wait 15 minutes to talk to someone in 2023. I shouldn’t need to dig so much for SPD, LOD, etc. And thank god I know enough to not want my rollover to go to my bank account, I can only imagine how much Alight’s UX incompetence has cost less experienced people in taxes and penalties over the years, who just go along with the flow. Can’t wait to consolidate to a more competent record keeper.

Worse than it was. I use this app to manage my 401k. The mobile app now makes it hard to move money between funds. You cannot see the information you need to make decisions unless you take copious notes or have the app open on multiple devices. Seeing everything you need to know in deciding to move some money from funds a, b, and c to funds d, and e cannot be done on one screen unless you can remember everything you have seen on 5 different screens. It has gone from hard to near impossible in the last year. I may just go back to the web version or close out my account.

Poor Interface, Not intuitive.. I am a new employee at a company who requires a light to manage their benefits. When enrolling in healthcare benefits, I elected to have a family plan with my children on the plan with me. They required verification that these were in fact, my children, which is totally fine, except I can’t seem to figure out how to send the information. Instructions are at best poor. And when I finally do get to the page where I can send instructions and send them in, they are denied with no explanation, or rational as to why. so when I finally get a person on the phone, they say it’s the fax was too greeny and dark for them to visualize the birth certificates. So, at this time I decide to upload via the app, and of course, two weeks later, I have yet to receive a response. So I try and call again, which is no easy task by the way as you are forced through AI bots to get to a representative of course, and I am told they never received any uploads. 🙄 so now, for the third time over three months, I’m trying to verify my children. I am told I have not reached the deadline yet, but received a call from my youngest daughters dentist office, saying that the claim could not go through because I did not have her covered under our insurance. when I say that to the alight representative, they curtly informed me that no benefit changes should be made until the due date so she should in fact be covered and then I need to call my HR department. Well, like the representative said she should be in fact, covered because I have sent documents no less than three times. ZERO STARS.

New employee experience isn’t so good. I am a new employee at a company that uses this app for benefits. The app is quite annoying as it doesn’t do all the tasks I need and opens an in-app web browser where the top of the screen it taken up by an add to i stall the mobile app. Can these two teams talk to each other and figure out if the web page or the mobile app should be the one doing the task? Some other things are nice but even when I go to the web site on a computer it pushes me to the mobile app for auth which then opens a web page which then asks me to use the mobile app. This all would be hilarious except I’m just trying to manage my benefits.

Terrible on every level. How does this app have 4.8 stars. As with everything healthcare related it fails at almost every turn. It has a finicky login and signup process. Just one example, on the mobile app I was not able to copy and paste into the password field. I had to manually enter my password - everytime. There’s no “forgot user id” link but there is a signup link. After a few tries I realized if I click that it would realize that I had an account and eventually get me signed in… eventually. On my employers page, it says verify that your provider is in-network by clicking this link. Ok, that takes me to Alight but good luck figuring out if your provider is in-network. I still can’t do that. Anyway, it goes on. Just terrible.

No two-factor ID - Not Secure!. Edit: The text follows the device settings which means if you are an older person and use bigger text, none of what's in the app fits on a screen. The app should have in-app text settings instead of following the device settings. Just terrible. I pulled up Settings on the app and the screen is blank. When I login to the web site, it incessantly pushes me to answer security questions or use another method to authenticate beyond a password. It also logs me out after about 30 seconds of no activity. The app? No such luck. Have a login and password? You're in and can make all sorts of changes. This app is a security nightmare. I have a financial services app that insists on two-factor ID. It's not a choice. This app should do that as well. So bad for our country!

Support. I really enjoy the Alliant app and have been getting more comfortable with it as I learn my way around. Overall, I think it’s a great platform and I truly appreciate what you’ve built. One feature I would love to see in the future is the ability to link directly with doctors or healthcare providers. I’m learning as I go, trying to stay in-network and manage things the right way, and having some level of integration or guidance there would be extremely helpful. The only real challenge I’ve run into is customer support response time. I currently have a case number open related to getting my phone number and bank account added, and I haven’t received a reply yet. It would be great if there were a more streamlined system or quicker acknowledgment—something as simple as a confirmation that the support team is actively working the request. That said, I truly do love the app and the direction it’s going. Keep up the good work, and I’m excited to see how it continues to improve.

I suspect my money is unsafe with Alight. My account was associated with some random phone number from day one. Account got locked and Service agent said they would have to mail me a password. Months later… No password. I request another one. Finally get it in the mail but it doesn’t work. Unfortunately it is past their operating hours. I tried using the app and to get help from the “chat” bot. That thing is hilariously terrible. There is almost zero percent chance this company is legally compliant based on this level of ineptitude. Checkout the reviews of this app and sort by most recent. It is a clear pattern.

Wrong balance for months!. I’ve opened two tickets because it has been showing a wrong pension balance for months. The number is static, and never changes. The web site shows the correct balance, which changes monthly as interest is applied. Why can’t the App show the same correct number as the web page? Why do my tickets get closed as ‘resolved’ when the bug hasn’t been fixed? 3rd call today, you tell me to just use the web page. Very disappointing. Why do you even have an App at all if we have to go to the web page to get the correct data? Just so you can say you “have an App”? It doesn’t work that way. Fix the bug or delete this App from the App Store!

App not much help. I returned to work March 12. Paid bill which covers March 1-31 in February. Now received bill for April which, although I don’t want to pay because I’m back at work, feel as I must or I’ll lose benefits or get charged for medical bills that I’m still trying to get covered. I’m I supposed to pay? Don’t know-app not any help. I’m I overpaying? Don’t know-app not any help. Can I ask to find out? No-app not any help. Can I pay using my iPhone on the app? Don’t know- app won’t open to payment page. Have to get on computer and pay with makes having to download and use the app unnecessary and a waste of time. Apps not useful are worthless. I hope my company isn’t wasting their resources with this app. For me, It’s not much help.

I just won’t see a doctor I guess. I have spent the last hour trying to find a primary care doctor, the specialist filtering does not work at all, In an hour I have figured out basically nothing, it’s so bad that I have not seen a doctor for serious issues in too long because I get overwhelmed and throw in the towel. There is no filtering and basically zero information on the doctors or their services. The frustration with the app has caused me to literally not see a doctor for months until I have an issue that sends me to the ER, multiple times and may just push me to it again

There is much to work to get it working efficiently. Some tabs are not working Some info is repeated: medical cost and medical coverage show the same info. I feel medical coverage should documents on Coverage! It keeps on asking me to add my choice of communication; I see my email adddress is already there, but it keeps on asking me to choose but cannot save it because is already there! I can go on! I hope they fix it! Soon !

Too complicated. I have no problem signing into my bank accounts but Alight and Aeronet are a digital rabbit warren of signing steps. You need to tidy up procedures in consideration of users. I am reverting to postal mail to avoid login frustrations.

Verification code not going through. You get a message error when trying to get the verification code on your phone. I’m using this App in Canada btw

Facile. Très convivial

Unreliable and Wrong. This website is unreliable. Within the site links are unstable or don’t work. If you are sometimes lucky when links work, options within are not functional. Bad design … I wonder why it’s even available. I wouldn’t use it.

Piece of crap. This app is useless and a piece of crap that doesn’t work

AC pension. What a waste of time and effort… the very definition of click bait. You want something that is efficient and easy to use - this isn’t it.

Very basic. The app seems like more of a shell. Everything you click on just brings you to a webpage. When you click on “plan document”, they are all blank. Seems like a fairly useless app to me.

Good app, can’t see paycheque. Must “enter full site” to view this week’s pay stub

Not Impressed. Constantly shuts down with interruption message. Takes personal info and that’s it, nothing useful.

Great application!. Great application!

Alight. Every item you need is readily available. The perfect situation to be in all the time. Excellent!

Practically un-usable. Hyper paranoia security built into this stupid app makes it almost unusable👎

Review. Needed to talk to a representative, was almost impossible to reach a representative,After an hour and finally spoke to a representative. Representative had no useful information on my concerns. Representative then transferred me after 3 hours on the phone to the team that I had requested through the automated service. Received a message experiencing higher volume of calls would you like a call back. I opted for the call back which never came had to call Alight back repeat the automated service to talk to a representative and they finally connected me to the right people. Time accumulated on the phone to get any type of answers was 6 hours. Plus it’s taken me since November 20 /2023 to January 23 to verify dependents that are still not yet verified with a deadline of February 17/2024.

Downloading secure mail attachments doesn’t work! They don’t want to fix it.. Update Jul 14 2022. Alight Solutions did not fix the problem below (though they claimed they did), but instead gave a ridiculous reply which does not help iPhone users at all. “We do suggest to access Upoint using different browser”! iPhone users cannot use a different browser! “Your issue has been resolved and are now able to access and download the secure mail documents. It is possible that any issues you are encountering could be due the browser. We do suggest to access Upoint using different browser. There is nothing to fix on UPoint and it is working as expected.” I will therefore stick with my 1 star rating. The company did not fix the issue of receiving/downloading mail. You still need to do this on a laptop… not through this app which clearly doesn’t allow downloads. They obviously can’t be bothered to fix it! A company developed an app, that doesn’t allow iPhone users to download mail attachments… I call that poor service. They deserve 1 star! - - - I can see my secure mail, but the link to open my secure mail (pension statement) is dead. The link will not open the document. Otherwise the app is a great idea. I just wish I could see my pension statements (and download them). I will now have to use my laptop to do that!

Awful. Terrible app most of the links don’t work or tell you to check with Sunlife. Not worth your time.

Useless app. Not working at all. Won’t even start. If it can’t be fixed it should be removed from the store.

Buggy mess. When I search for my employer, it sometimes will not show any results. When it does, and I select mine from the list, it takes a good 20 seconds to respond. From there, I’m given a variety of errors. One states there is a glitch in the system and another stating that the mobile platform for my employer is unavailable. The name of my employer is also cut off in the error. My employer’s name contains an ampersand (&) and it seems to be confusing their system (or at the very least, is messing up the error messages because that’s where the name cuts off).

Sub par app. As a brokerage link user with my 401(k), take several clicks to get to the viewing of the account to see what I want to see… and it’s clunky on the iPhone. Furthermore whenever there’s an iOS update, doesn’t seem to do anything it just takes me in a loop for the app, but nothing has really changed or improved. Account details and positions are viewable, but you have to know what to click and where to go. FYI for those brokerage link account users

Not worthy of 1 star. If your company changed to Alight for '26, let me express my sympathy. Alight, and your company, as well, have now verified that they dont care much about you. I dont honestly feel like typing out my latest issue with them, but "Call or Login to the Mobile App" is a pathetic recommendation when the number isnt provided, and logging in to the Mobile App takes you in circles. In other words, they make it difficult to get anywhere quickly. Dont take my word for it, read other reviews, you most likely will see a pattern.

Please change the landing page back!. Hate the new landing page! Loved the app before! Please change the landing page back to where you can see your current 401K balance along with gain/losses for YTD! Now I have to go looking for that information. Not nearly as user friendly!

A poor excuse for a benefits app that never works. I’ve been at my company 5 years and have never gone past the main login page for this app. everyday it’s always the same message when you click on anything beyond the front page “we are currently experiencing technical difficulties. Please try logging in again later” . never fails! always have to go to the website. clearly no one is checking it since it’s always happening. how is this so highly rated? developers must be paying for good reviews

Useless. Absolute garbage, so much harder to use than just going onto a website! Tabs don't make sense, always have notifications that I have an answer there so I go there and can't find any such correspondence in the app. Did I mention it's pure garbage? Plus Alight is the worst administrator I have ever had on a health plan, I haven't been able to get any doctor guidance because the communication keeps breaking between the app and me. Useless, useless, useless! Wish they changed the administrator from this useless company to begin with!

Functional, but ask your HR department for a new vendor. This app is only ok. It shows me what I need and it works. But it’s very bare-bones. There are no interesting tools, no options to link other accounts, nothing. I work with a lot of 401(k) vendors, so I see a lot of other competitor apps, and this has got to be one of the weakest out there. I’d give it fewer stars, but 3 seems fair simply because it reports accurately and I have not had any tech issues.

App is unusable for anything but basic viewing. I have had many issues with this app, especially with documents that have been sent to my secure mailbox. The documents will have an attached pdf, but will not open it when the document is selected. After speaking to support personnel, I was told that I should be using the website rather than the app. Therefore the app does not provide any support.

Pretty annoying. Not very intuitive or user friendly. Nothing is obvious. It is difficult to find where to upload documents. It’s hard to find messages. This is something that the elderly need to access. This is very daunting for my 80 year old mom. It’s fine for the younger generation but part of the target users are not up to date with technology. I would rather use the app than deal with calling But I had to ask AI where to upload documents these urgent files.

Terrible and useless. Downloaded this app today, and it refused to keep me logged in. Every time I tried to go to any single area, it kicked me back out to the main screen and required me to log back in. Absolutely useless and unable to be used in any way. If you want to lose Customers, this is the exact app you make to do so! As a result of the repeated difficult login issues with this company, I am moving all of my company out and into Fidelity. What a terrible, terrible company to try and do business with.

Disappointing. Both app and full website are poor. I submitted several feedbacks regarding not being able to generate a statement, only being able to access the latest quarterly statement (in their secure mailbox), never get notified by text when a new statement is available even though that option is enabled (at least that’s what it shows). Very basic things work, but overall, navigation within both the app and the home site is like Pong era technology. My company (Raytheon) ought to be ashamed for jettisoning Fidelity (pretty good app/site) for this.

UPDATE: Doesn’t lock up. They have addressed the lock ups. Would get a 5-Star if I could buy with less clicks ——————————— I try to buy on down market days; but on days when the market moves the most, the app locks up before I can start the process. It isn’t cell zone coverage; as I just used my phone as a modem, and was able to move the money via the website on my laptop.

Trying to open app issues. Just trying to open app it goes crazy and flashes a lot of unfinished UI screens followed by many popup dialog boxes saying that i was logged out. Never can login. Wiping the app from the phone dies about the same but ends blank and does not produce the logged out messages

Continue to get There is a glitch error?. This app used to work for me but now I continue to get the above without any additional diagnostics. I have tried reinstalling this app - but still same error. However, I can connect using the browser going thru my employer site on my cell phone. How do I get this fixed? Thanks

Useless is an Understatement. Chronic login problems. The App logs you out even when in the middle of doing something. Toggling back to a previous menu requires logging in again. Their authentication methods don't work. Calling them is even more frustrating. I have worked for the same company for 7 years but had no access to my open enrollment period. I had to call them and their agent couldn't get in to my account without a supervisor. Deadline was today and I have no idea if my benefits selections were made. I wish my company would find another firm to mange benefits.

Dysfunctional App. Possibly the worst designed app I have ever seen with absolutely no quality control. On the Dependent Care reimbursement, there’s no way to upload the provider signature. It doesn’t work on the website either. You print the cover sheet but can’t upload it either. The only way to upload documents is to click on upload receipts. But then the people that receive these documents reject them for inadequate information. This happens every year. We spend 10 hours on a process that should take 1 hour.

How is this highly rated. As a user, this is a useless tool. I have to change some elections and the app isn’t useful. I tried to log into alight on my pc, the app is supposed to give me a notification, but it’s not working. It’s just using the chrome web browser. How is this app more helpful than just logging into alight on the web? I’m guessing it only got high marks from people in HR who paid money for the service and maybe it does something on the back end that I’m not aware of. Pretty useless.

Terrible App, Just Got Worse!. I can’t believe how bad this app is. The usability and design are horrible. I’ve been putting up with the subpar design for a while, and I was shocked to see it become even worse. On one of the recent updates, the ability to take a photo of your receipt is no longer there! This makes it more difficult to submit a claim, using the mobile app. To the app developers: I hope you are reading this. please fix this in the next version. Thank you.

App doesn’t work with Apple Watch Anymore. When I first downloaded this app back late last year, I was able to use my Apple Watch and the health app and upload steps for incentives. Now, since early March update, I cannot do anything with it. I go to website and it still will not let me link/unlink my health data through Apple Watch. I have also deleted and redownloaded the app without any success. Can you PLEASE fix this! It worked before your last update!! Otherwise, this app is complete junk and owners don’t care if it’s broken.

Well designed screens, long transitions, buried HSA investment features. Login is much improved with Face ID. Screens are clean and navigable. It takes a LONG time to get from screen to screen. Feels like a web-view instead of a native app. HSA investment fund details are available after many, many clicks. Would love to see true fund names, along with ticker symbols - both selected and available - more readily available.

App works OK but link to webpage is terrible. I can get the app to work okay but every time I try to access on a laptop or desktop it will not recognize. Tried multiple devices and changed countless passwords…such a hassle. I think it’s time to move my money where it isn’t a nightmare to monitor my investments.

Used to be good. This app used to be way easier to navigate and would show you a pricing list and treatment list. It no longer does any of that. Now everything you do on the app is blind and you might just book someone who far exceeds the normal fee for services. I’m ashamed that I stuck with alight because I feel that I no longer have any information on how to move forward logically. This is absurd that they have minimized the information that we are allowed to receive for medical treatments. Absolutely absurd!

Allow Photos!. Until I can upload the screenshots from photos I will give it one star. I have to now print my bills and then take a photo of them. Why this goes to documents rather than photos makes no sense and seems that having to print and then take a photo is so out of date.

The ap is useless!. I would give it ZERO STARS if I could. It’s far less than functional. It tells you what benefits are available IF you can figure out how to get to the right screen, but after you have reviewed the “suggested” plan the first time and it kicks you out in the middle of reading about it, then it won’t allow you to see the specifics ever again, and it won’t let you see anything other than the name, cost and signup button for the other options even though you do exactly the same steps as

Terrible app and zero response from support!. Incredibly poor app. I have had a Vanguard account for 27 years and while their is nothing to write home about, it is light years beret than this. Also, you can call VG when you have an issue. Alight, no number to be found. My app has a zero balance for my account and I can only see my account balance on the website. Opened a ticket over a month ago and keep the same message how they are working on my request and I will hear back in 5 business days.

Cant find my pay stubs. I can see what I’m getting paid the day before I get paid and that’s great and all but if I click on it, it doesn’t even show me where that’s coming from. This is the only place where it would be for me to find it and I feel like I didn’t get paid as I should’ve last week. Where do I find it?? Am I just dumb or is there a glitch?

It has potential but that’s not enough. When it works it’s great, but the “we’re working on the glitch. Check back later” message that pops up more often than not is annoying. Don’t waste time calling the 800 number. You get routed to the Philippines and can’t understand what’s being said over the dogs barking in the background. Alight needs to have customer service based in the U.S. with employees fluent in English

Very frustrating and lacking. Our previous health benefits app/ program was very easy to use and all of our benefits info was right in the app. It is hard to understand how you get the credit for your activities and reimbursement requests often get rejected. The well-being activities are very unclear how to use them and how to get credit for them. It makes it challenging to obtain our full health benefits using this new program. Long way to go before this app is good.

What’s the point. I’m not understanding what the point of this app is i can easily put in all of my login info into all the fields but once i choose to sign in it loads absolutely nothing just a blank loading screen. I tried to use the website and it can’t find my company name which makes no sense when the app displays it with no problem has me seriously regretting signing up wen i cant even manage anything. NEEDS TO BE FIXED IMMEDIATELY. I’m not the only one having this issue if i go by the reviews. Having people pay for something they can’t even look at its terrible business

Beneficiaries. It has been over two years since my wife passed. I just by chance looked on the app and it still listed her as my primary beneficiary. I finally spoke to a representative and they tell me there is no way to remove a beneficiaries name off of the app. It led me to believe that I had forgot to give the documentation of her passing. In the case of someone’s spouse dying, I do not really like seeing their name listed on the app is still being alive. I believe it would be even more upsetting to Others than it has been to me.

Limited functionality - at best. The app is consistent with the level of usefulness that Alight provides to their customers - to be expected by a legalized group of scammers. You can get basic account balance and contribution amounts, but that’s about it. You can increase your contributions to your 401k, and that’s about it. Forget about accessing any health information - doesn’t work at all despite what their ads claim. Financial account information seems to lag by a day or two. Asking for tech support for this app is an effort in futility.

Kludgy, disjointed, and slow. The app hands off to the website so many times in a session. You’ll click a button in the app and then wait (and wait, and wait) for the browser page within the app to load. Then you’ll realize you’re not looking at the right place on Alight’s website and navigate back…then the app takes over. And then it loads a different webpage inside the embedded browser. I don’t know how well-funded financial companies are ok with putting out such trash. I will do what I can to get my employer to go elsewhere because the user experience is so bad.

Worst app ever!!!!. Worst app ever. I have been forced to use this app by my company and was never able to even login. Nothing works and if anything works you have to wait forever to load. It’s mind boggling to know that fortune 10 companies chose to use this app. The only sane reason is probably the cheapest app out there.

Poor customer support. Look at the reviews that are 3-star or less. I don't have the energy to retype what's already been said. The coverage I signed up for doesn't match what I'm being charged (without notification). Request submitted about discrepancy 2 days ago. Still showing "to be assigned". Insurance will be active in less than 2 hours... I have no control over the extra amount coming out of my paycheck. How are reimbursements handled?

Uploading Documents. It is extremely difficult to upload documents based on the requirements. I have spent an extraordinary amount of time just uploading documents to the application. This is an unreasonable requirement to continue to upload receipts for obvious medical providers.

Cumbersome to Upload Expense Receipts. When uploading receipts to substantiate an FSA/AHRA reimbursement claim, the Alight iPhone app does not provide for a way to upload screenshots/photos taken with the phone camera. It forces you into the folder structure of the phone itself with no easy way to simply snap a pic or screenshot and upload it. It makes it very cumbersome and is an unnecessary burden to access my own FSA dollars. The app used to have this ability but a recent update screwed it up.

App is terrible. I haven’t been able to make a payment on the app this year although I’ve tried several times. I’ve tried on multiple devices as well. IT department sent me an email issue was resolved but it wasn’t. For something as vital as healthcare it should be a seamless process and at the very least there should be good customer service/IT support and there is not. It’s the law we have coverage, yet it’s easier to pay Old Navy, than health coverage and that should not be the case.

Landscape Page Orientation Bug ( iPad ) Is FINALLY Fixed!!!. What a joy to log in for the first time in a while, and have the screen automatically switch from Portrait to Landscape View on my iPad. I have a bluetooth keyboard for my iPad that is also an attached stand, so it keeps it landscape. The Alight App used to suck…It’s came so far! Grateful.

Trash. This app needs a serious overhaul. I have no clue how it has a 4.8 star rating. It’s hard to navigate. Certain areas will act like they are loading only to have you met with a “your request cannot be processed at this time error” the company too is trash. They do all they can to make sure you can not get your money if you need it. There is always some reason as to why. Set up direct deposit? Takes a minimum of 14 business. This is 2023! Nothing takes that long anymore! Get it together!

Prehistoric Site. This is the most basic and flawed app(and even main site) I’ve ever had to use. They don’t display all of your information to you. I can’t see my payment history. I ended up paying for 1 months coverage twice because it kept saying I was overdue and would lose my benefits, then both payments went in at almost the same time even though one was paid WEEKS before. The virtual assistant doesn’t assist with anything at all, basically just a “frequently asked questions” tab. Get it together people.

So bad in every way. I used to sign into the webpage and it wasn’t great but it worked. Now, I have a much longer sign in process to use the app, and then it boots me back to a browser pop up every time I try to click a link in the app. And the pages don’t load well in the pop up browser. Overall can’t actually get anything done and very frustrated. The app just adds more steps and takes away functionality. It’s as though this was rolled out without any testing at all or something.

Still needs work. For longest time I could not get the app to work correctly. Create account, set password sign in. Then the next sign in, it would not work. Pushed through the sign up procedure. Well there fixed and it’s working great with face-I’d, but the camera function to record your insurance card is HORRIBLE! It’s to aggressive when it’s in automatic and record’s screwed images. And regardless of manual or automatic settings, it rarely in focus.

Badly Programmed. This app nearly has a meltdown every time you change anything or access your already limited information. Seriously got forced into accepting cookies because the notice basically covered the entire screen and X button was noticeable but didn’t work every time I tapped it to close that stupid notice. Did everything on the computer and still had problems getting the app to tell me anything about my coverage other than it’s an option. Hopefully your job doesn’t make you sign up with this app.

Impossible to submit a photo. The app has improved a bit but it is still impossible to submit a photo when requesting reimbursement. Photos from my iPhone photo library are not in the correct file type so I have to take a picture. All that happens is the app keeps trying to find the image. I get various messages such as “move closer”. It would be very helpful if photos were accepted from an iPhone library.

New Online Reimbursement. I (like many 80 year olds - are not too up on using computers. Therefore, it is hard to get set up with an app or know how to use it: My son helped me but I worry that many seniors my age will be totally lost! It is MUCH EASIER for seniors (especially those no longer able to learn new programs) to just mail the information in!

No user friendly AT ALL. Frustrating and Unhelpful This app is far from user-friendly. Navigating through it is confusing, and simple tasks take far more effort than they should. When you run into issues, calling for help only makes things worse—you’ll be transferred at least three times before speaking with someone who may or may not resolve your problem. The lack of streamlined support and intuitive design makes using this app more of a hassle than a help. Definitely needs major improvements.

Can not pay with a credit card. I have to pay with a credit card. I had two different cards saved in the app. All payments gave me the same error and do not continue the payment. I alley and someone tell me to change the browser, first I changed to Chrome, later to Firefox, none is usable. I don’t know what else to do

Clunky app. The app is fine for a very high level assessment of your investments but does not provide data for a closer view of fund performance over a short period of time (weeks). Also, you’ll spend a fair amount of time clicking around and waiting for the App to provide a response. I don’t think this is an internet speed issue, but something spinning in the background that slows things down. One more thing, there’s no way this app rates a 4.8 stars. I just thumbed through the ratings and it’s a 3 star at best.

Securing document. I am attempting to download a document from your site so that I may use it for personal benefit matters. Everytime that I click on that particular document, it opens a different one that I do not need. I have tried 5 times with no luck. That is very frustrating and unnecessary. I had asked that be snail mailed to me as I was initially told would happen, but was then told that the representative would have to do some extra work for that to happen and that I could easily download the form from your website. That was not the case. I find the service terrible.

Doesn’t load. I’ve been trying to access my LOA for almost 2 hours now with no luck. The app is worse than the website and that’s saying a lot. It doesn’t load. If you do by chance get it loaded, it redirects you to another page and that page doesn’t load AT ALL. There’s no access to my secure messaging anymore, there used to be. I can’t check on my secure messages or the status of my LOA unless I sign in with the web browser. There I barely have access either. Their ENTIRE system is a joke. One big freeze up after the other. I really hate this app.
