App not responding. When I enter the name of my employer it always comes back and says choose another provider. Never had this issue until a few days ago. Sent an email and received an automated response that the issue had been resolved, yet it hasn’t. No once cares about any issues with the app.

Very Slow. This app takes 30-40 seconds to load every click. Please improve peformance.

Waste of time. App stopped working after a few months and the problem(s) were never fixed. For a lot of people the app it’s self doesn’t work and after you sign into the app it takes you to the website. Then you just kinda go in circles clicking on links that don’t work and getting redirected back to the home page.

Horrible laggy app. App is slow and poorly designed. Seems like there was no effort put into the user experience.

Unusable. Text box way too small. I don’t want an app that’s a headache. Employers: please don’t use this service for step challenges. It drains patience and energy from your employees!

Primitive and Not User Friendly. This app is horribly designed. The fact it requires a log-in verification every time is beyond me. It’s supposed to be counting steps, not holding sensitive personal information. At least provide an option to have no log in! Second, to get to the screen where my team, my personal, and overall steps are tracked is confusing and should be the first and most clear screen. All the other sides should be options that I never look at unless intentionally. Third, why are my steps not configured to refresh automatically with my linked devices? Every other health app is able to do this, I can’t imagine why this app wouldn’t. Fourth, I can only manually input steps if there is no linked device. This is also very primitive and dumb. Overall, if my company wasn’t using this app, I’d never download a glorified step counter that does a worse job than the basic preset apple activity app.

Worst app ever. This has to be a kick-back deal or money laundering scam. I couldn’t create a worse app if I tried.

Terrible. Can’t reset password, get in an endless loop of stupidity. It also likes to disable cut and paste so that my password manager is harder to utilize. GUI is a bit of a mess once you actually get in as well.

Nothing but glitches. I’ve barely been able to use it lately. Keeps spinning and logging me out, then saying I haven’t registered or it can’t find my company. This is ridiculous.

Horribly buggy and slow. I’m surprised any company uses this, perhaps it’s slow and buggy in purpose so they don’t have to give the rewards. Super frustrating app.

Absolute junk!. I downloaded this app in the hopes of trying to better myself by engaging in the wellness challenges, but all I get is the same app interface as the primary Alight app! And then trying to open the web version of this…. guess what? That goes nowhere! What is the point of wanting people to use the app if it isn’t even working on its web-based version?! This is the most appalling failure of an app in the history of smartphone apps!

Worthless. The last several times I’ve tried to open this app, it tells me a new version is required to login. And yet there’s no new version in the App Store. I uninstalled and reinstalled it and got the same error. Even when it was working it was next to useless.

Please Fix This App!. As other have stated, a recent update of this app has removed all prior functions that were available on Alight Well. It now has the same interface as regular Alight with no way to access Alight Well.

Activity Tracking Broke. App suddenly won’t connect to garmin properly and is quite literally stealing money out of my pocket.

This app DOES NOT work. I open up the Alight Well app and it looks NOTHING like is does in the description of the app. When I log in it actually takes me to the exact same app as Alight does. I am very disappointed that I am not able to use either app because both of the apps take me to the Meijer Rewards website and not an actual app

Horrible app. When I enter my activity it’s just spins and says “updating”, I have to force quit and then wait 10-20min to login again and see if it updated. I linked my iPhone for step tracking, it never works. I click update steps and it just spins. I have to unlink and link my iPhone everyday to get my steps to synch. I’m only using this horrible app because my company is having a fitness challenge.

Terrible. This might be the worst app I’ve ever used. It takes forever to go between pages (60 seconds in some cases), the app crashes often, navigation between different pages and areas is unclear or takes too many clicks, it makes me log in constantly, I get a network error constantly and I have to kill the app to get back in. My company uses this app as a way to provide rewards for health tracking but I’m starting to think the app is terrible on purpose to discourage people from using it and getting rewarded. Why not just pull my data from Apple Health and/or MyFitnessPal and reward me for getting steps and tracking my eating instead of making me do pointless challenges and journeys. It’s clear that the purpose of the app is to get your data so they can sell it or use it to their advantage, not yours

Can’t reset anything. Was recently prompted to reset password for whatever reason. Did so, but the process ended in an error. Fine, but when I went to re login, it prompted to reset my password again. Keeps saying my password is incorrect, but doesn’t actually send an email to reset my password, so I can’t actually reset it.

App is error prone. Login consistently fails and when trying to refresh stats while in the app it almost always crashes. Support appears to be nonexistent as neither of my reports has generated a response.

Who designed this?. Big yikes. We used to use virginpulse which was 7/10, this is like 2/10. Do better please.

Horrible. As other reviewers have stated, app does not work. Pictures shown of what app is supposed to look like are a joke as it looks nothing like it. After signing in all I see are links to download the app (probably cause it just takes you to the website) and when you click to download it takes you to the App Store to download the app you already have. Its a big circle and a waste of time. Wish my employer didn’t use this. I can’t setup anything to track my steps and earn more rewards. Please fix!

Zero stars. All I want to do is edit my steps in my Andes Mountain Challenge. No thanks to you I finally figured out what I needed but now I need to edit my steps. You know a app is bad when the developer does not respond to any reviews at all.

Horrible app and customer service. I have been using the App Store for nearly 10 years, this is the first time I write a review. The app is awful, it barley works if any, customer support is a joke. Ask your company to switch away, we have asked our CEO to switch away from Allight Well.

Please fix this glitch. There is no way to access the challenges, journeys, reward points, etc. I’ve tried everything and it keeps taking me to the benefit information. It tells me to download the app and I’ve downloaded the app several times and still will not work.

Use this for work, unfortunately. My employer gives us bonuses for using this app, with challenges for fitness goals and just general daily steps. Unfortunately, the app just doesn’t work 99% of the time. It never tracks my progress without me manually telling it to connect to my Health app, and most of the time when I do that it crashes. And that’s when I can get it to actually log in!

Can’t even log in to this app. Can’t use the app on my phone. It won’t even let me log in. Now I’m locked out, and beyond frustrated. I can log in on the website, so I know it isn’t me. Terrible.

The worst. I would give this app zero if I could maybe even a -5 stars. Everything is 1 million clicks everything is so slow. I’m trying to earn the money that I’m owed in this app makes it so difficult to do it. It’s completely unethical make it easier to earn which owed or just give it upfront. Stop trying to steal people’s money by forcing them to use an app reduce the cost of insurance or just get rid of this thing altogether it’s useless and helping no one.

App asks for social security number?. Why would I do this on my personal phone? It’s not secure

What’s wrong with the app?. Got the same message that I needed to download a new version of the app in order to log in, and when I tried to download it, it stalled and deleted my old version. Can’t get the update. Help!

Needs more apple health integration. The app pulls steps from apple health but no other workout information. So you need to manually log peloton, swimming, or basically any other information that’s already available in apple health.

Terrible App and Customer Service. App is basic, not interactive, no way to fix an error if you make a wrong entry, customer service is robotic and can’t fix or reset issues. Disappointed that Meijer left Castlight for this wellness program.

Slow. The app is really slow - one of the slowest apps I’ve ever had.

Alight unwell. I wish a different healthy influence provider pathway had been selected. I pray no other associate has experienced what I have. Poor support. Received auto generated emails from support team with blanket statements covering any possible issue. For some reason only able to earn half of the rewards equal to all the known associates who have freely shown me what they can earn. Support says it is impossible to earn rewards above what I receive, and yet many associates earn double my rewards. I feel personally discriminated against because of this major fact of inequality of reward benefits. Receive contradictory responses about my issue which appears minimal to every individual but myself. So far for a year have been earning half that of my peers each and every quarter. I see no end to the continued limitation to my benefit issue. Alight does not care it is what it is.

Hope you like waiting. This app is an excellent exercise in patience, especially for those who are used to cell phone applications that work.

Terrible. Literally the worst app I’ve ever used. Basic functionality is broken and every link takes ages to load (if it ever loads at all). It’s insane they can charge companies money for their employees to use this.

Horrible, sluggish app. It takes a minimum of 10 minutes to log in, refresh your steps and check your status...and then it times out. Doesn't matter if I'm on wifi or cellular...still just as slow. This app makes any challenge not worth it. Frustrating to say the least.

Still in the dark ages. This has to be hands down the worst fitness app around. While the health app automatically will track steps this app requires you to manually enter again that steps were completed. Even though it indicates screenings and routine appointments will automatically be reflected it doesn’t do so making it almost impossible to earn quarterly fitness bonuses from my company. I am a fitness junkie and I am frustrated and discouraged by this stupid app so I can only imagine how my colleagues feel whom I am sure have long given up. Raytheon if you read this dump this stupid app and either go back to Virgin Pukse or find something better.

Worst app ever. It’s a real shame my company has selected this app as the one we have to use to do our healthy incentives. It is the worst user design I’ve ever seen. The navigation makes no sense and it takes forever to load even on fast internet.

iOS Update Broke App 8/28/25. What on earth is going with this app? iOS updates and this thing just breaks and asks for a “new version”. What NEW VERSION? Fix this!

Always down. Rewards store has been down for weeks. If you email support about it, no one responds.

Really pretty awful. The customer service for this app is a joke. They have a store that now seems to be continuously closed for so called updates. once you finish a journey it doesn’t mark it for you. You have to scroll way back through the timeline to see if you did that journey during the current year. It’s just really not done well. If it wasn’t a way to make a couple extra bucks I’d never use it again.

Poorly designed app and poor customer service. The account creation prompts were awkwardly sequenced. It shouldn’t ask you to choose a username and password when it isn’t going to count, and the next screen asks you to enter your information to sign up. Also this hasn’t worked from day one of trying to use it. All I am able to do is log in. I have written to support several times about the issues I experienced and have received no help, I feel certain they are not even bothering to read the description and screenshots I sent. I wouldn’t have downloaded this app if my company didn’t use them. If I could have given negative number of stars I would have given negative 5.

Can not login. My username and password are correct, but it won’t let me login and won’t send me an email to change my password ever since the update.

Frustrating app and no notifications on changes made. This app is so frustrating. My husbands account email and phone number have been changed twice now in less than a month without any email or phone notification or approval. I’m not sure what is wrong with this company or why this keeps happening but it’s annoying. I’d give no stars if it wasn’t for the fact that they will get it fixed eventually. These things should not happen though. Current mess up is they have attached an alight employee email to my husbands account for authentication and somehow removed the phone number my husband uses for it without our permission (we literally logged in yesterday no issues but today we can’t log in) Last screw up was they completely deleted my husbands email and phone number and nothing was attached to his account. They tried to blame us but luckily I had proof we did not do it. And luckily this time I have proof their system sucks and it was not us that initiated this. Oof I hate this app.

App frozen. I usually use empoweru to gateway to alight to healthyyou from work, it stopped working since January 2024, even using the forgot username or password, it doesn’t do nothing. I called support they can’t figure it out… I usually do this to get the Amazon gift cards but now since it stopped working I might as well give up as this app or support call literally do not know anything… I’ve never seen a review with soooo much 1 stars ever. Clearly company’s are using this because it’s trash.
