New app much better than web site!. I’ve been waiting for this app, and just used it for the first time. I love how it serves up items already purchased. It would be *even better* if it sorted the cart by department — and the absolute best if there was a one-click integration with AnyList. But, all in all, it’s a great improvement over the CM mobile site AND the HEB ordering app.

Central Market Web Based Ordering & Delivery is Amazing. HEB Central Market is my favorite grocery store. The selection of fresh produce, cuts of meat, fresh seafood, fresh baked breads, wines, and cheeses are the very best in the DFW area. Alas, as I live in Arlington, and my nearest HEB Central Market is in Fort Worth, I did not frequent my favorite grocer as often as I, and they, might like. Now that I’ve learned of the HEB Central Market App and Home Delivery, I’m ordering my favorite seafood, produce, cuts of meat, breads, and cheeses more often. Central Market delivers to my doorstep. If only HEB Central Market would open up in Arlington. Still, with the HEB Central Market App and Home Delivery, I have convenient, easy access to my favorite grocery store.

Scheduled Delivery. I am currently in a rehab center close to Central Market and just was craving some tasty nutritional options to include in my diet today. It was so easy to go online and pick any number or variety of anything and have it sent to me at whatever time I wanted it, this is an amazing public service and I am so grateful!

Central Market Online. I’m ordering Christmas dinner for the first time from Central Market. I’m so excited to see how dinner turns out. Ordering online takes a little getting used to because of the holiday meal and the pick up carts are separate. I also had a little trouble finding the search bar for final additions from check out.I’m not thrilled about the fees especially the pick up fee but it’s once a year AND I am not going to be slaving away in the kitchen while guests are in and out-really happy about that!!

Curbside For The Win!. The app is easy to navigate when looking for our favorite go to’s. The only difficulty I had was finding our favorite baby food pack. It took about an extra minute or so, but that is nothing compared to the time it would take to go to the store myself. This was my first experience.

Lifesaver!. Before Covid, I shopped at Central Market twice weekly, in person. So when we had lockdown, I used the pickup service. It’s so wonderful! The shoppers always make great choices...and if something doesn’t work, they give a credit or make a delivery to fix it. Now I’m so spoiled, I plan to continue the service indefinitely. H.E.B. lives up to their reputation and then exceeds it!

Central Market is the best!. Just when you thought Central Market couldn’t get any better, they deliver a high-quality app that makes shopping even easier. Product selection is very well-diversified on the app which makes it feel like I am walking the aisles as I would when visiting the Broadway location.

Glitchy recently. I love the app and usually don’t have problems. For some reason it keeps freezing after opening and I can’t move past the opening screen. Not sure if it was an update or what caused it, but please fix! Updated to say, app is again working well again! Thank you!

Great to Have a Direct app, but…. Would be nice to see everything that falls under a specific category when searching by keyword. Seems to fall short of suggestions. Better than Instacart because it doesn’t force promoted products, and also less expensive than Instacart. Love that I know that the shopper is familiar with the store products so I don’t have to worry about constant replacements or skipping over hard to find items.

Makes my life easier. I have been ordering from CM Curbside for 3 years now. As much as I love going into the store to shop, I love the convenience and time savings of ordering and picking up my groceries curbside. I love the customer service and enjoy all of the employees. They always make my busy life easier!!!! Thank you!

Makes Life easier. The app is easy. I love that my favorite recently purchased items are there for me to select without having to search. Next favorite thing is that the delivery times are always accurate. I get a notification if something is not available and I can accept or deny the substitution. Love central market!!

Delicious Food and Convenient Ordering. I love shopping at CM! Not only do they have great tasting food but on top of that it’s so convenient to order from my app!! I schedule the time and it’s ready for pick up. I don’t have to bother to shop for a small fee it’s all taken care of for me. Thank you!!

Love your curbside services. Really appreciate your curbside services. They are very helpful for our family with small children and busy schedules! Your staff members are also very kind, and we appreciate them offering sparkling waters and other treats when they bring out our orders. The call center is also easy to use and if we ever have issues with our orders they are dealt with promptly which is very reassuring. Many thanks to your staff!!

Love the buy again feature!. The app makes it so easy to purchase my weekly groceries. The buy again future is helpful to jog my memory of items I may have forgotten, and is an easy place to start when I’m building my cart.

Best curbside EVER!. I’ve always loved HEB & Central Market, however only HEB’s offered curbside until just recently. The San Antonio Central Market now offers curbside, and it was terrific! All of my favorite items were available (like the CM Butter Tortillas) and when I got to the curbside lot, I was offered a complimentary sparkling water while I waited. Just when you think H‑E‑B/Central Market can’t get any better, it does! I’m going to definitely use CM curbside from now on.

First-time Central Market app user!. Wow. Fantastic job on launching a great app! I’ve used curbside a ton in the last year, due to the pandemic. Now you’ve upped your game! I was able to pull my previous order, add them to my cart, then add my previously purchased items. My favorite hack is to do this when I’m in the airport, land in Houston, and drive straight to curbside. Voila! Instant groceries. Thank you for being an awesome store, with terrific employees, and now an app!

Same day-yay. I needed some essentials the same day and didn’t realize it until 2:00pm. I am very appreciative for curbside especially in situations like today when I am strapped for time and resources. All of the H-E-B stores near some didn’t have any slots open until tomorrow. Thankfully, Central Market did. Very happy!

Central Market curbside. I enjoy using Central Market curbside app. It is easy to use and has a good selection and variety of options. The quality of the fresh produce and fresh meat is excellent. The staff that bring my groceries to me are friendly and professional. I would recommend this to anyone that uses curbside pickup.

Can’t wait. The hardest part of moving to North Texas from San Antonio was the fact that there are no HEB’s north of Burleson and Waxahachie. That being said, Central Market Plano has filled the HEB void in my heart. The produce is always amazing, and I can’t find better quality meat. I can’t wait for next August when HEB comes to Plano! The countdown has begun!

Easiest grocery app. I’ve used all the grocery apps and I love the Central one. Finding items is easier with many choices and you just click on the item to add instead of going back and forth between menus.

Love it!. I’ve been ordering groceries through the website since the pandemic began and was not too sure I would like ordering through the app on my phone. However, I love the new app! It’s actually easier than ordering online. It’s super fast and has quicker ways to get your groceries ordered.

Steadily improving. Getting better all the time, however, some items seem to be missing and search is a little awkward. It is a good experience and I’m glad it’s getting attention.  Yes, I would love to see Apple Pay option for payment!

Finally! CM App!. We have been exclusively ordering Central Market groceries for pick up through the website. It worked pretty well. And it certainly has improved over the last year in it’s efficiency and clarity. However the new app is fantastic! All of my previous orders are there, it’s easy to add notes for the shopper, and check out is a breeze. Thank you Central Market! I only wish I was able to leave a tip for the shopper. I give a tip to the loader but I always wonder who actually did the shopping. It would also be nice to have loyal shopper points or rewards.

Great app but search needs improvement. Love the app, but the search capabilities have changed in the latest update which makes it hard to find what you are looking for. You have to click into the input box, type something in hope the drop down will have that option and then you need to select it. Tried looking for German beer or the actual name of the product and the search button is disabled despite showing it’s active. I have to type in beer, wait for it to run the query, select beer in the drop down and then search through all the hundreds of beer listed to find the one brand I know y’all carry instead of me just looking for it directly. I’m not sure why the functionality was striped away, but it’s adding more user tasks & stress than before. I hope this gets revisited soon.

Love all the prepared foods I can order for new parents!!. I tried to order a second Love Dip at .50lb unable to get to quantity. It recognized I had Live Dip in my basket so it would only allow me to increase the weight by another .50lb I was buying one for someone else this was my issue. I made a note but will try to contact my shopper tomorrow.

Good app for the best grocery store in TX. Good app, only use it to build shopping lists so I have no experience with curbside/delivery. Inventory updates in real time so the app is always accurate and the weekly savor sale items are conveniently advertised. Logical product categories/subcategories and good search functionality. One request would be to incorporate the coupons received in weekly savor emails into codes available in the app.

Accurate, reliable service from friendly staff. Central Market staff fulfill my order accurately and deliver my groceries on time. They’re friendly and professional, making my weekly grocery shopping a breeze. They were a real gift during Covid, and I continue to rely on them. Thanks to you all.

Customer service is excellent.. I tried to place an today to pick up an order for a chef prepared meal. I could not get logged in and needed to pick up curbside because I have my dog in the car. The customer service dept walked me through the entire process and I was able to place my order quickly and efficiently with the app. Thank you!

Online Shopping Made East With More Choices Than Any Other. The Central Market online shopping experience is better than any other I’ve tried, and I’ve tried most of the other grocery online shopping sites. This app is so simple but elaborate and effective! I’m so glad I tried it. As an example, the selection of cheeses was so amazingly full of great selection. I am a total convert! Thanks Central Market!!!

Love love love. On days like today (the 4th of July), I know Central Market will be crazy! I decided to try their pick up and was please with how quick and easy it was. I also loved how the extra fees weren’t outrageous like some other stores charge. Will definitely be shopping online again!

Excellent app! Easy to use.. Central Market is our favorite place to shop. I have been looking forward to an iPhone app and this did not disappoint, very easy to use. Plus they brought over our history from the web site, making it even better.

Great New Ordering Option. Liked using the extremely easy-to-order new Central Market app, another good option to getting great items from CM. Hope to see Weekly Special items available through the app in the future.

Exceeded my expectations. Have used grocery pick up apps before and some of them wouldn’t let you pick up certain items like fruits… Central Markets app on the other hand allowed me to order literally everything I always get at the store. Great easy to use interface. However I wish you could drag down the product to get back to the previous page or be able to swipe right to get to the previous page. Clicking the X at the very top right corner to go back to the previous page is an inconvenient shopping experience but other than that it was a really smooth experience.

Central market is crushing it. Central market is my go to for amazing food and this allows me to have a little more convenience while still getting to go in and do some shopping. Great job with the app. Love the collections and just very easy to get the things I need.

Just an OK app. Lacks customer specifs. First I want to say that the 5 star review is likely all done by employees who had to do it. 1. The app lacks support for Apple Pay. Hint : It’s an app running on a Apple device, why not at least support Apple Pay? It only supports manual entry of a CC. I just want to order something because I am sick with Covid, but now I have to look for my CC and squint my tearing eyes to enter 16 digits, expire date, what ever else. 2. You can’t filter on diabetic, gluten free, organic, etc. I have to search everything and read every label to filter it out one by one. That’s lame. Apps are for convenience. The only filter is on price. I don’t care if the strawberries I want buy have price ranges. All I want to know is if they’re organic. The rest of the app is fine I guess. But not the delusional 5 star rating appropriate

Love this new app!. I totally love H‑E‑B and Central Market and love how they’ve operated their curbside service during this pandemic, and I’m even more psyched that Central Market now has its very own app! Love it— easy to use, reliable, common-sensical, and fun! Thank you, H‑E‑B, for yet again finding a way to improve what was already great. I appreciate the incredible work you do!!!

Finally H E B put CM in app form. While I have enjoyed the desktop ordering site for CM, even on mobile; at last the app has arrived Has the specials listed and search is very nice. All the convenience I’ve come to expect from the regular H-E-B app The CM app also tells you were the item is located in the CM store of your choice.

Makes Life Easier. I already love Central Market and the grocery pickup and delivery options have been a game changer for our family. The app makes the whole process even easier. You can quickly locate frequently bought items and add/remove things from the cart.

New update keeps crashing. I’ve previously loved the central market app, but I just uploaded the latest update and it keeps closing on me. I deleted the app and reinstalled it, but it is still very glitchy. Update: updating my review to 4 stars as it is now working, but was disappointed when I couldn’t use it recently for an order

Happy for the App(y)!. Sorry...couldn’t resist 🤣 Very glad this has been created...easy to use but I would like to make one suggestion...if possible...could bulk spices be made easier to find? Many that I use do not show up when searched... Other than that...Great Job!! CENTRAL MARKET IS MY HAPPY PLACE!!!

Extremely convenient!. I love me some Central Market but don’t always love shopping in store. Ordering curbside online through the app was a game changer! The orders are always ready on time and if they don’t have exactly what you want the substitutions are usually pretty darn close.

Great and easy way to Shop!. We have been fortunate to get everything we order! The shopper usually does a great job and we’ve been happy. It’s the only way we are able to shop at this time? Thankfully Central Market offers this!!

Making Entertaining a Breeze. Needed some fancier items to entertain at a dinner party and the delivery option from Central Market makes it convenient to keep on task with my at home prep knowing that I can have my items delivered and take something off my plate.

Best Selection of Freshly Roasted Single Origin Coffees In DFW. I treasure an excellent and varied cup of freshly ground coffee in the morning. I prefer single origin beans due to the variation in taste profiles I get with the different locales, bean varieties, local growers and finishing processes used in each region. Variety is the spice of life. I just bought four different single orgin coffee but I had to thin them from an initial list of eight single origins. Central Market is the only source I have found in DFW with that wide a range of fresh single origin coffees both bean and ground. I know it’s tough but coffee lovers just have to do it. 🍮☕️😎😍

Amazing, quality convenience. As full-time working parents of a toddler, we rely on conveniences like this to help us to spend our time well, and how we want. -To do that without compromising on quality is really wonderful. So grateful for this service!

Always a Treat!. We love Central Market, and always visit when we are preparing seafood or any special meal. Our only complaints are that it’s usually crowded and a bit tiring to make our way through the whole store. That said, we count on their fabulous fresh seafood and wonderful Wagyu beef, the outstanding remoulade sauce and prepared dishes like Honey Garlic Flank Steak, dumplings and risotto cakes. Yum!

My favorite grocer - but current version broken. I love Central Market, but waaaaaay too often the app just is broken. I’m on an iPhone 11, and it seems far more often than not (and ESPECIALLY when I’m on my VPN it seems) the main screen just refuses to load any images, and navigation stays completely locked so I can’t scroll, click any elements, or perform any interaction. I know it’s not my internet or anything else, as their website version works fine without issue… but the app? Just completely broken.

Finally!. I am so happy Central Market finally created a grocery app! I don’t know what took them so long when nearly every store has an app nowadays. Online grocery shopping is much faster with the app. The app is well organized and I can find more products than before. Also, the nutritional info is available on more products when viewing on the app. Love it!

Easy pick up and quality products. I have used Central Market curbside pick up during the pandemic and continue to use it even though I could probably go into stores without a mask. It is so easy and everyone who picks my orders are excellent shoppers. The produce is top notch and this time I ordered beef filets for a birthday party bbq.

Not only did HEB Central Market save us during the pandemic ridiculousness, but they managed to create a user friendly, wonderfully interfaces app that’s MUCH better than shopping directly through their site. Great job, HEB! And thanks for waiving the first few pickup fees!

First time using. Great! Easy to navigate and find items. Love that you can add notes for the shopper. Wish you could order bulk items under 1 lb. but (ie. hummus, olives) but still love!

Always happy. This is coming from someone who is extremely picky. I am always happy with Central Market. I live in The Woodlands and come into town once or twice a week to get my meats and vegetables from here bc nowhere else compares. Everything is super fresh.

Worth the trip in to Austin. I live outside of Austin and come into town when I can to go to CM. I love this store! Great variety and selections. Makes grocery shopping fun! The app works well to pre-order when I don’t have time to shop.

Well done. I’ve been shopping at Central Market for years and their produce and selection is always top notch. One thing they could work on is decreasing their use of plastics. Plastics become micro-plastic over time and are not readily recycleable. They risk harm to human health and the wellbeing of the planet.

Doesn’t display well on iPad. I downloaded this app to my iPad and used it once before deleting. It would only display in vertical format, which is an inconvenient way to work. It also will not go to full screen, even in it’s expanded view. And it doesn’t use the device keyboard like my other apps do - it has its own tiny keyboard that’s much too small. It seems to be designed strictly for phone use, and doesn’t work well with a larger screen.

App is quite good, but still playing catchup to the H‑E‑B app. Central Market, the store, is the smarter handsomer more refined little brother to H‑E‑B. This app is finally catching up to the outstanding sister App for H‑E‑B. That being said, what really makes the app remarkable is the prompt professional curbside service delivered by both stores.

Appreciate their delivery service. I find Central Market’s delivery service as a work from home mom! Most of the time the orders are accurate, and they always make it right when it’s not. I order often and wish they had a yearly membership to pay for delivery.

They have great food. What I appreciated was that they had a great app and they weren’t trying to just charge extra because you’re ordering online

Decent app for my favorite store. The app is decent but it lacks full capabilities such as showing the nutrition facts for all food items. Perhaps that is still being developed. Otherwise, it’s user-friendly and easy to place my curbside orders.

Better than Instacart. So far so good. Still awaiting my first delivery but I was able to find food faster and prices were lower. Hopeful that skipping the middle man will work out for me long term.🤞

Best in Texas. I love having a Central Market so close to the house. The coupons are a game changer and allow me to eat healthier while also having a wider variety of options.

Unwanted notifications. Notifications for this have have been turned off on my phone yet they still send them to interrupt what I’m doing. I’m uninstalling this app and will shop at a grocery where their app doesn’t ignore my iPhone settings and force notifications.

Better than the website. Let’s all admit their site has been rough for a while. This is an improvement though they could still work on their search tags.

Love the new app. This app is easy to use and I love the ease of finding products online. When typing in a name (of a product) a drop down menu populates. This is very helpful. I also like that you can sort by price!

Favorite Grocery Store. The staff greet me every time I enter the store. The special deals are always a culinary combo of items providing the opportunity to try something new or revisit old favorites. The Midway location is my go to grocers!

Move to Texas for CM. Best grocery store ever! My wife and I are considering leaving DFW for another area to settle down in but our love of Central Market and soon to be built HEB is so strong we are now incredibly hesitant. Buying food at Kroger, Whole Foods or God forbid Target? Yuck!

Fabulous grocery app!. Over the last 15mo, we’ve really stepped up our grocery store online purchases. This is the best app I’ve used! Now to just get a Central market or small HEB out in Sunnyvale…..

All star performance!. Hands down the best pickup service of any grocery store in DFW, and the app is actually way easier to use than the website. 1000% recommend if you have been on the fence.

Wonderful app. It’s a joy to be able to order curbside at Central Market. It’s always delightful to stroll the store but this provides a great option when you are low on time but still want the best!

Much easier to use than CM website. This app is much faster and easier to browse than the website. The search function could be better and related or recommended product placement could be better.

Butcher meat horribly salted. I bough fresh thin steaks but they had been heavily salted. I had to take the cooked steaks and hold them under running water! Ugh! And they were still horribly salty!! But at least central market has some things that are hard to find elsewhere.

Intuitive and Fast!. Great app shopping experience! Only improvement would be to have product options grouped (so when I select a granola, show all flavors of granola as an option to select from, for example).
