Amazing!. As others were, I was also skeptical about this app. However, after researching online I can say for certain this app works! the faq section for the app gave more information about the process and with some time I was able to figure it out, this app is well worth the 2 dollars !!! EDIT: it seems that some characters aren’t working so that’s why I am taking away a star HOWEVER it’s still a great app!

Used for ACNH. It works making amiibos for ACNH. Sometimes it gives me an error when sending data to an NFC tag. I find you have try several times for it to finally write, which is why I knocked off a star.

It works. It works great it’s just not updated and doesn’t have every amiibo

Please fix. I can’t write any amiibos at all, I’ve done everything correctly. It says failed everytime when I go to scan my 215. If this gets fixed I will change my rating but for now it’s here at a 1

Works, but can’t use rewritable tags like Powesaves. As the title mentions, I can use this app just fine for flashing blank tags which is very useful and the UI is really nice. Gone are the days of needing a non Apple device to flash Amiibos, but without support for rewritable tags like Datel’s PowerTag I will be using TagMo on my other phone when I need to use my PowerTags.

Works as expected. Had a little trouble getting key files to import. The easiest way I found was uploading to google drive, then installing google drive app, and sharing through google drive app. After that, works like a charm. I’ve used tagmo, thenaya, amiibomb, placiibo, and cattlegrid. This is very comparable to tagmo in ease of use once you get the key files installed. However, if you have an iPhone only, this is the best route to go. Took one star, just because it does cost while tagmo is free to use.

Needs more Amibos. Needs more Amiibos to choose from but otherwise, it’s a great and working app for sure!!!

App is useless without direction.. I have written to the developer at least ten times without a response. I’m not wanting to conjure up Raymond from thin air, but I need a response on steps to produce an amiibo offered in app. I’ve followed all instructions on his help page, and that page is not helpful, or secure. Warnings popped up everywhere when I accessed it. I have new NFC cards, the AmiiBot app, and get errors whenever I try to transfer amiibos in the app to the card. I need help, mainly steps, to get this to work.

Complete database and simple UI. With the recent update to the database, this is again the easiest and best app to write NFC tags on the iPhone. No need to scour the internet, it’s all here.

Couldn’t do anything! iPhone 6 not compatible!. Even thought my iPhone is up-to-date and it even let me buy this app, I can’t use the NFC features because it says my phone is not compatible! Dev should really be clear about this in the compatible devices! Waste of money wish I could get a refund!

Cannot write Sanrio Amiibos. Worked for other amiibos but not the Sanrio ones (says duplication failed). Better off using Amiiboss and downloading/moving the key files (check YT). Paid $ and it doesn’t work any better than the free app.

Bad rating sorry-. This doesn’t work for me, I can’t find amiibo keys that work. The app doesn’t even supply any help or support. Al least giving a reliable site to find amiibo keys would be greatly appreciated. As of now, I wouldn’t recommend anyone buys this app because it doesn’t work. Edit: I’m stupid and was looking at the key files and didn’t export, I think I got it now! My next edit won’t be crying for Raymond and Judy I promise. I will be ordering my nfc tags and then when that works I’ll update it to 5 stars ✨

Works well. The app works well. I have had issues with one character (Cherry) which I emailed the developer about.

Amiibos missing. I took stars away as other similar apps that are the same price, keep the amiibos updated. There’s so many amiibos missing. If people have to pay, I feel like they should be kept up to date. Honestly for the same price you’re better off going with an app that will keep everything updated in a timely manner.

I’m disappointed 😢. I wanted to make new amiibos & my AmiiBot app isn’t working anymore. It just says amiibo duplication failed. I’m a bit sad because I paid for this app & now it doesn’t work

switch won’t read amiibo card. I was so excited to use this app to duplicate amiibos. I was able to easily find both key files online. After making my first card, i tried to use my switch to read the amiibo but it did not work :( please help

AmiiBot Review. I bought this app and waiting for the NFC readers. I’ll update this review once they come! Edit: It worked! I finally got Molly on my island! Just remember you can’t use your phone/android for the Amiibo. you need to scan it onto a NFC Tag or Card. But overall I LOVE this app!

Super easy to use!. I tried a bunch of other Amiibo apps, and the other ones usually require you to provide your own files for each character or to DM the developer (which makes no sense to me, because that's an annoying thing to force everyone to do, but I digress). This app does none of that! You just need to provide a couple of files that you can easily Google for, and the rest is super simple! The UI is beautiful and ad-free, with nice animations as an added bonus, which makes it easily worth the $4, IMHO. This app feels legit polished compared to the other apps I've tried to write tags and I'm surprised more people aren't talking about it.

Waste of money. Had no idea this app only lets you scan new amiibos and doesn’t let you import backup files! Such a waste - wish I could get a refund.

Works Great!. After figuring out how to hold the blank tags, this works great. Please add some of the newer ones like Cat Mario.

Nothing New. The app isn’t bad but it’s bland. The $4 price tag isn’t necessary. It would be nice if it had other features (like showed you where to get them online and local retailers). It also is outdated with newer amiibo, being Joker and Hero.

NFC locating is tricky, but great app. A quick google search will lead you to the needed files to work this app. The app has all the other files needed, you only need the two keys. Guides online mentioned that the NFC sensor on your phone is under/near the camera and so you should line the NTAG 215 up with the bottom of your camera. I don’t know if iPhone 12 Pro has it placed differently, but I wasn’t able to get them to write like that. I cover half the tag with my camera and leave the other half uncovered and that works just fine. The app is quick and easy to use. I have no complaints. I’ve made sure that the tags I’m writing to are all able to be read by my switch — they all work just fine!

It works! Don’t get discouraged. This app works. Go online and look for the files. Once you’ve got them saved on your phone, save them in the app and then you’re done. If you analyze the “how to add the files” part to your phone on the instructions, you will know when you found the right files and which go where. I’m a dummy and I figured it out, you can too! Lol it’s an awesome app ! I love it! I already got 2 of my friends to download it after I did :)

5 star because it does exactly what I want it to do.. Was nervous about it costing money but It works perfectly! Downloaded it and had it working in about 5 minutes. Detailed instructions on how to use it. Worked with no issue with my IPhone X.

Would give 0 stars if I could - doesn’t work, wasted money. I followed all the instructions and downloaded the file but, the app won’t allow you to import it. It just says invalid file

Doesn’t work as advertised. I thought you could make your own amiibo because one of the screenshots for the app says you can make AND copy amiibo. You can’t. You can only copy. I don’t understand why I need to go out of my way to install separate files if I can do the same thing with a different app.

Great iOS app for making ACNH Amiibos. Thanks for this app! This worked well on my iPhone 11 Pro Max. I was able to import locked and unlocked key files successfully after downloading them to my Files app from a google drive link that I opened in Safari. I didn’t realize all the ACNH villagers (with the exception of the new ones without amiibos) were all pre-loaded already so that was a pleasant surprise to realize I didn’t need to manually import each villager I wanted. I’ve made about 20 amiibos already using NTAG215 stickers I ordered online. I can’t wait to make more! Thanks again! Update: I just wanted to note that you can write the 6 Sanrio Animal Crossing Villager Amiibos (Rilla, Marty, Étoile, Chai, Chelsea, Toby) with this app. I’ve been able to successfully make the Sanrio Amiibos. Thanks again!

Needs working support page.. The links to the support page for help is broken, but otherwise it works fine. It would be a lot easier if the support page had a tutorial about how to set the key files.

It works!. It works if you do it right. I’d recommend reading the FAQ to take necessary steps and taking your phone case off to scan correctly. But it works exactly as intended!

Great app, easily accessible, and very user-friendly!. Great app for creating your own amiibo! Was skeptical at first after seeing some of the reviews saying that there were problems with it, but I haven’t run into any. I was confused at first about the two key files needed, the locked-key and unfixed-key, but a quick Google search got me those. The library’s organization is great, which is a small thing but often overlooked by app devs, and it means you don’t have to spend ages finding the right file for each individual amiibo! Made 5 amiibo with it really easily. The only problem I had with making them was that the NFC reader/writer sometimes failed to write the amiibo data to the card, but I think that’s just because either it moved too much or there were other cards nearby interfering, so if you do streamline creation of them, be sure to keep the blank cards in a pile about a full arms reach away and keep your phone and the cards as still as possible. EASILY worth $4.

IPHONE NFC ANTENNAS CAN BE FUSSY. The app is great and super useful. I’m just writing to let people know that if you’re having trouble, it’s probably your phone not the app. I had the most success laying the card on the table and placing my phone on top of it, lining the top of the camera up over the sticker as best as I could. Then I just left it. It took up to 10 seconds, but they all ended up working

Works great until it doesn’t. I used this app to make some AC amiibo in July. Once I’d found the .bin files it worked great. Tried to use it again today. At first it would crash upon loading. I updated my iOS, reinstalled the app, and re-added the .bin files. It no longer crashes, but also will no longer write amiibo. Everything works except the bottom-of-screen pop up to actually write. It will only appear under settings->detect tag/amiibo. When trying to write, it simply does not appear and does not give an error message. The FAQ has no advice on this. 3* because their library cuts out a step of actually finding the character amiibo file elsewhere, and because it’s very convenient when it works. If it works, it’s great! But I can’t recommend paying for something so finicky. Better to figure out one of the free tag writers than to rely on an interface.

Doesn’t work. I can’t import anything. Even if I find stuff, I can’t import anything because your app tells me the key is invalid. Don’t listen to other reviewers. This app is useless because everything is invalid and nothing works. I can’t believe I wasted money on a scam that people say works.

Please update. My only complaint is the amiibo list does not get updated

Won’t work for some reason.. I have been able to get the keys set and ready to go, but every time I try to duplicate and Amiibo it says “Duplication Failed.” I have tried several cards to make sure they are blank and ready to use, but it will not let me duplicate Amiibos. I have also tried deleting the app and reinstalling, but it did not help. This is really upsetting since I paid for this app and for the blank cards. Giving one star for now, but will change rating if the issue gets fixed.

Sorry lol. Sorry for hate on this app and the amiibo duplication works just fine and I got the key files correct, but everytime I put my phone on the joycon it says amiibo not read and I came here to know if the amiibo’s work on this app and I do have the updated version so what am I doing wrong?? (Edit: Oof sorry for that misunderstanding of the app and I will try to see if it works later but thank you for helping out ❤️✨)

Works Well But Needs Erase Feature. NFC Tags are made to be reworked and changed multiple times but this app doesn’t seem to have a way of doing that. The app works as an amazing way to make amiibos on them but you can’t change it once it’s there, a feature like this would be awesome so for now i’ll leave this at a 4 still amazing but needs erase.

A little misleading. If you just want to collect Amiibos, it works well. If you want to add amiibos to your village, it doesn’t. I would suggest taking that part out of the description, cause it’s a bit misleading.

Great app. Love the app, I was really excited about being a ble to get the animal crossing characters that I would’ve had to pay 70$+ for maybe even one of them on ebay or amazon, but once I tried testing it out it said along the lines of phone incompatible or a nfc device is already being run. My phone is a iPhone 6splus, I’ve searched Apple devices that are compatible with nfc and it confirmed 6s plus is okay and then the app compatibility said iPhone, iPad etc. Is there something I forgot or messed up on?

100% works & is better than Placiibo!. I was nervous buying this but the reviews said it worked and I figured $4 wasn’t that big of a risk if it didn’t, but holy cow, it ABSOLUTELY WORKS! It took me a few minutes of reading the app FAQs and one Google search to find the Amiibo files I needed, and then I was able to create an Animal Crossing Amiibo for Marshal so fast that I wasn’t sure it really worked... until I tried it in my ACNH game and now Marshal is at my campsite asking me to craft a ukulele for him. 😂 Absolutely amazing! I am so pumped! Thank you to the devs for the incredible work! EDIT: After creating 30+ Animal Crossing Amiibos I wanted to add that I think this app is WAY better than Placiibo and why. 1) You only need to find & install 2 files, whereas with Placiibo you find & install each individual file for the particular Amiibos you want. With AmiiBot, I have a library of Amiibos from all different games at my fingertips and I can easily create any Amiibo I want at anytime, whereas with Placiibo if I decide I want a Roald Amiibo, I need to find & download a Roald bin file & install it before I can create my Amiibo. Imagine doing that 20 times to create just 20 Amiibos. It will take way longer and much more work to do what you can do so much more easily with Amiibot. 2) Amiibot is cheaper. It’s a flat one time $4 fee whereas Placiibo asks for a “donation” with the minimum amount being $5. Also, the Placiibo devs have said the ability to get a “lifetime membership” is coming to an end soon, meaning if you don’t get the app & “donate” in the next few days (in early August 2020), you won’t have the “lifetime membership” & will probably have to pay monthly or something. Amiibot was a one time $4 payment, period, with no “act now or you’ll miss out” ploy to get you to purchase fast without thinking. 3) The overall look, feel and utility of Amiibot is better. It’s nicely organized, it’s easy to use, it isn’t covered in ads, it is just intuitive. Amiibot lets you scan the Amiibos you’ve created (& any real ones you may have) into a section called “My Collection” so you can see all the Amiibos you already have. Both your collection and the library have pictures, so for Animal Crossing when I search “Papi,” a photo of his Amiibo card comes up and underneath it has his name, personality type, birthday, series, etc. With Placiibo, when I go to my library I just see “Bob” and underneath the bin file name. No information whatsoever, no picture, nothing appealing to look at. Idk if this changes once you “donate” but you’d think the trial version would want to lure you in with the nice features you’ll get, right? Anyway, those are just a few reasons I think Amiibot is way better than Placiibo. You can try Placiibo for free (“try” meaning make 2 Amiibos while being flooded with ads every 2 seconds) and see for yourself but I recommend skipping it entirely and sticking with Amiibot. It works.

Amazing. I just found out that with IOS 13 we have nfc support. I immediately wanted to make amibos, I took the risk with this app since it only had 1 review and it was so good!!! Easy and simple to use. Would recommend.

Don’t buy this. I went to the animal crossing characters and they don’t even have all the characters you shouldn’t buy this until they add more characters, doesn’t work at all the other reviews are fake, don’t wasn’t your money on this stupid app

So easy to use!. This app works perfectly and they couldn’t have made it any easier to use. So worth the price. I have an iPhone 8+ and I just used it to make some Animal Crossing amiibos, already have the first one coming to my campsite.

Works flawlessly!. This app works wonders. I’m upset I even purchased a powersave in the first place because this app has everything I need for far cheaper. Haven’t run into any issues yet, all characters appear in game. I’m very pleased, and looking forward to updates with more characters as they’re released! <3

Waste of money. Bought this because it said I only needed at least 13.4 and iPhone, but no, you NEED a certain iPhone, so got scammed. Hurray

AMAZING!. It really does work! I was skeptical because of only two reviews. I decided to bite the bullet and spend the $2. I’m so glad I did! I just wish I could cancel my eBay order of a Samsung phone I was going to use since I have an iPhone. It really, really does work!

Works great!!. It works almost perfectly considering it’ll sometimes fail to duplicate but most of the time it is great if you hold the NFC near the top of your phone. And it also has almost every Amiibo that I needed. If the creator is reading this I would suggest to change the look of the app cover to make it look more professional and you may get more downloads. But overall it is a great app and definitely worth the two dollars considering that is the only app that is easy to make a Amiibos on an iPhone.

Confusing. Why does it say “can’t write to tag”? It says nothing about it in the FAQ, so I am very confused.
