Good as it gets. What a wonderful app. Easy to use and follows the auto tour at Gettysburg. It’s obvious the creators spent a lot of time putting this together, and it really shows. Lots of information and detail taking you through the battlefield. Hands down the best 10 bucks I’ve spent in a long time.

Best Gettysburg Battlefield car tour out there!. The content and flow of this app are excellent. I’ve used it even after our visit to review facts and help my middle schooler learn about the Civil War. I can’t wait to use it again on our next visit to the Gettysburg battlefield!

Can’t wait to return for another Gettysburg Battlefield tour.. Hands down the most immersive experience of the Battle of Gettysburg. We have done the tour a number of times and every visit we learn something new about the battle.

Great app! Even for “locals”. This app was a pleasant surprise. We live a half hour from Gettysburg but have never done a “tour”. We did the long version and it was great. Synced with my maps on an iPhone and took us effortlessly through the battlefield. We learned so much and really enjoyed it on a beautiful Saturday

LOVED THE TOUR. Best auto tour experience ever The tour is easy to navigate with great audio. The narrator does an excellent job describing the history of the battle. But equally impressive are the personal stories of the real people and their families who were directly or indirectly affected by the battle. It made us feel like we were experiencing the battle real time. The maps were really great to help orientate us to where things were happening. You can go as fast or as slow as you want with the tour. We got out of car numerous times to Investigate sites and let the kids burn off some energy. I would highly recommend the tour. It was very memorable and educational. If you have kids they will love it.

App Didn’t Work 75% of the Time. Very rarely loaded and stuck on the HereStory screen. Even in areas of full service and throughout the battlefield... just stuck. Even uninstalled / reinstalled several times - worked once this way for a single stop. Paid 10$ for an app that we didn’t really get to use. Though the parts we did get to listen to were informative and enjoyable.

The essential Gettysburg Battlefield app. This app provided such an enriching tour experience at Gettysburg. It’s a great modern update to the traditional audio tour. As someone who has spent lots of time on the Gettysburg Battlefield, I was incredibly impressed. Cannot recommend this app enough!

Best App for Gettysburg. Easily the best app for visiting Gettysburg. Extensive commentary, various options for how to tour the battlefield, great insights, and pleasant to listen to. Wouldn’t do Gettysburg without it.

Great family tour option - flexible & affordable. Great tour experience for our family during this socially distanced era. Spent several hours driving on the battlefield with this easy to use app. Listen to the story of the battle and get gps directions to each tour stop in this amazing National Park. Also we suggest you see the companion film to make the experience even more awesome and informative & get the kids guide that goes with the tour.

Perfect traveling companion!. Amazing and insightful tour. Easy to use, clear and to the point. Most importantly during the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020, this is a self-guided tour led by the foremost experts in the field that you can take from the safety of your own vehicle!!

Best way to tour the Gettysburg Battlefield. Gettysburg is a special place and there are numerous ways to tour the battlefield (and we’ve done all of them). However, The Gettysburg Story app is by far the very best way. Informative, thorough, and easy to follow. If your going to do Gettysburg, you have to do The Gettysburg Story.

SO WORTH the $9.99!. My family and I had MLK Day off and wanted to do something social-distant and educational as a family. This app took us to all these slots and gave us a great history of each stop. This $10 spent was without a question worth it and, although directions may seem confusing at first in-app, for the most part you can just follow the red “Auto Tour” signs marking the roads and get to the various stops. I highly recommend this app.

Not worth it.. It was great & very informative, until #8. After that, right up until #16, there was no information, no audio at all. It was a useless, pay for app. Try the other Gettysburg app. It lasts until the end.

A good way to see Gettysburg. This is a very good way to see the battle/battlefield of Gettysburg. The narrator is easily understood and is pleasant to listen to. The only criticism I have is that it is (at first) unclear when and where to move you car.

Safe, easy to use tour of Gettysburg.. Did this with the family at the National Park. Really dramatic history. Highly recommend it.

Ok. Tour was good, when working. We had bought the guide and a code at the Visitors Center. I downloaded the app and could not find a place to enter the code. So spent $35 for that and then another $9.99 because the code couldn’t get entered.

Amazing. Unequivocally amazing. 2-3 hours for the tour is way too short. Maybe it’s me being sentimental but I only got through to “little round top” in three hours. The weather was iffy but every stop was instructional and educational. I learned so much more than what I thought. There were some “misty” times along the route because of the desire of the union and confederates loosing so many for a cause and me being there with my oldest’s (17yo) first trip, a LOT of emotion. As for the app it took three times to get it to go because It had to download (update) 36 files. Some of the negative reviews this could have been the problem [not a normal download]. The app worked flawlessly, even when I stopped and restarted along the route. I returned to Maine to relisten and relive the moments and there were no issues. I can’t wait to do it again with my youngest.

Content good , app not so much. Initially the app was fine. About 6 stops in there was no audio content. I know it updated when I first opened but that must have failed. No way to get it to update again. Uninstall and re-installed 3-4 times. WiFi and cellular. Would not download more than half way. Really frustrating as we were doing the auto tour today. Wish developers would refund as this is a design and code issue. I had plenty of bandwidth.

Great app. I have been at Gettysburg several times in the last 35 years and this is the best experiences I’ve had. It can use some technological improvements.

Annoying and unuseful. The overly melodramatic narrative was annoying and useless while driving. I wanted an app that would describe where I was and what happened there. IF this app intended to do this, it was borderline useless. If it wasn’t then it is false advertising.

Experience enhancer. I encountered an issue with the app, which was resolved by the developer. The app is great and really helps to tie the events that happened with what you see as you tour the battle fields.

Excellent product and very informative. The narration is wonderful and the narrative flows smoothly. Sometimes the directions can be a little confusing but I just searched for the audio tour stops on Google Maps and found them quickly.

A monumental disappointment.. From the moment I downloaded the app, it proved worthless. The only audio file available is the introduction. After that...nothing. No narration available for any of the stops. The map and direction functions performed well, which is basically just a way if saying I paid $10 for Google Maps (which I already had). A complete waste of money.
