Best app. App is very efficient and driver 865 was by far the top employee

Bait and Switch. Tip without prompting.. UPDATE - 15% tip was set as default. Set it to custom before you take any ride. Cab service was good. App is deceiving on multiple fronts. Estimate - 25% higher actual fare on a perfect 3 am morning. App est $50-56 before I booked. Actual fare was more than $70 on a clear morning with no traffic all the way. Tip - Upon checking the email receipt, a 15% tip was added without my consent. Tried to give local taxi a helping hand against Uber, Blueline Taxi app managed to turn me away for good. Fool me once, shame on you. Never again.

App issues. Your kind driver first did not have my destination address, then did not know that I had paid on line before the trip Not sure if it is the app or driver training

Better price. Driving with these guys is cheaper then UBER at 2am Friday night/Saturday morning :)

Bad choice. Very expensive

The “call driver” function never works.. It doesn’t give all the digits. Only 863334634. And there is no messaging function so you cannot contact the driver.

Overcharged as always. The driver was great and friendly. The ride was smooth. But once again the app SERIOUSLY underestimates the actual cost.

Does not work on small screen. I have an iPhone SE and I cannot use most of the features because the buttons and menus don't fit the screen and the screens don't scroll. For examples: I cannot prebook because after selecting the date and time there's no button to confirm; I cannot add a credit card because after entering the CCV there's no button but Cancel…

Far underestimates the fare prior to booking. I used this app during a 2X Uber surge pricing time. This app estimated my ~ 18 minute ride would be $14 less than the Uber, so I took it. We did not encounter any heavy traffic during my taxi ride. We arrived at my destination and the base fee was $10 more than the estimate. It wasn’t the driver’s fault so I kept the default tipping option which came up to $3. All included this was the same price as the Uber on a rare 2X surge. Not impressed.

trip scheduling failed. tried scheduling a ride for later in the day, and the app confirmed the time, but then sent a car right away ???

Didn’t show up. Booked a taxi a week in advance and day of, it started searching 5 minutes before pickup when all the taxis were 30+ minutes away. Had to cancel and go with Uber

Time in app to increase tip is too short. Twice now I get out of the taxi, go to increase the tip from the default, and before I can do it, the app closes the ride off and asks me to review the driver. This part of the app I find annoying because I am trying to tip the driver for excellent service. The cab service is great. The app makes taxi service functionally equivalent to Uber.

Pre-book not functional. The app overall is very easy to use. Please fix the pre-book option. Once you put in the date and time there’s nowhere to click to save the changes. You can either “reset to ASAP” or X out of the calendar window. Neither of these options let’s you save the desired date/time. I prefer to pre-book taxis and so this feature is a must for me.

Good app but use with caution. If you are using a taxi, using the app is better than calling for a pickup and trusting that someone has been dispatched. Two warnings: (1) the app will charge 15% tip by default even if you choose not to tip and dismiss the tip pop up after the ride. Your receipt will show a $0 tip. You only see it on your credit card bill if you compare to your receipt. Response from Blueline “Please make sure to adjust the setting for the tip on the App because it will automatically charge 15%.” (2) The app provides an estimate based on a route, and the estimate seems accurate. However, taxi fare is based on length of route (unlike Uber/Lyft which are block fees). If the cab driver takes you on a milk run, you will pay more than the estimate. Look up the shortest route and direct the driver to take this route to avoid higher than estimated fare.

Way better than other taxi apps!. I’ve had much better service with Bluelinr than with Uber and Lyft. A lot more affordable!

My Ottawa taxi service. I have never had one issue with any one employee. Not for over charge recovery, large load van regular shuttle. These men and women make this service a pleasure, I have no need to call anyone else as uber is about the same
