KP Health Ally Comments & Reviews 2026

Does not sync. A couple of years ago this app worked wonderfully and deserved 5 stars. It has since been updated a few times, with each update making it function less and less. It has been about a week where the app will not sync and show the test results. I have deleted the app and added it back to my phone, cleared the cache, restarted my phone, and nothing works. I have not reached out to tech support because in the past other than telling me to do what I’ve mentioned before, they have not been helpful. It is not doing what it is meant to do, which is deliver test results from patient to doctor in real time. For that reason I give them 1 star.

Getting better all the time. This is an excellent app, but it has bigger dreams than achievements. Notably it doesn’t always pick up the readings from the reader meter automatically. Space do you have to go to the menu :: manage devices. In a recent update, it started publishing helpful hints, but they disappear before I can finish reading them and there doesn’t seem to be any place I can go to get them.

Slow and annoying. Please fix this: Can you please fix the annoying reminders to check my blood sugar even after having checked it twice or thrice that same day. It would be good if I could switch the reminders off. Once in the morning is okay, but not after I've been testing all the usual times and getting a reminder at random times during the day. Why is this app so slow? Can't it load faster and not have to take so long to unload the data and wait for a response. Other than that it at least seems to work fine.

Idiotic update that stops the function when OneTouch app which shares information with Apple Health. Detecting conflicting app. Nonsense. Completely idiotic. Previous version used to sync and submit readings alongside OneTouch app which records more and allows data sharing with Apple Health app. I do NOT understand why this update was done and what the real purpose of quitting when I have OneTouch app. Completely idiotic update. This app doesn’t do much other than submitting the reading to Kaiser care team. Previous version worked fine for that purpose. Insisting that I remove OneTouch app which does more to make this stupid update work is complete nonsense. I will stop using this stupid app. Let my KP care team reach me if they need my numbers. My health is good as-is. Cannot understand the decision behind this update which detects OneTouch app and says it is a conflicting app when for the past 2+ years both worked just fine.

Works just Fine. I do like that we can get our info to Kaiser, through this app, however I don’t understand why there is not a way for it to automatically keep syncing with the meter maybe they have a HIPPA requirement. Maybe they’ve just never told us that it can; but, that is the one thing that I think this app could do better

Clunky, poor design, not user friendly. Just as bad as Kaiser’s web site, is this app. Hard to navigate, terrible graphics and counterintuitive. Will not remember the user password, so you have to manually log in EVERY time you use it. Don’t look for a button to sync your data. Even my doctor couldn’t get it to pair my phone and medical device. Just press menus and buttons until it starts working. You get reminders to sync but there is no sync button!

sluggish and unreliable. I’ve been using this app for a more than a year, and there are some serious issues for a long time that need to be addressed: 1. Laggy Syncing: Syncing is incredibly slow, and the spinning icon appears on multiple pages, even on pages that don’t need syncing. The syncing process itself takes about 5 seconds, which feels way too long. I understand the need for syncing when reading data from the device, but not when I’m just navigating the app. 2. Inconsistent Reminders: The reminders to sync are really strange. I often receive reminders after I’ve already synced, and the timing of these reminders is completely random, from early morning to late at night. It’s confusing and unnecessary. 3. Time Zone Issues: When I travel to another time zone, the data reading times become completely messed up. The app doesn’t seem to handle time zone changes properly, which makes it hard to trust the accuracy of the readings. Overall, the app feels sluggish and unreliable. I hope the developers can fix these issues soon.

Flawed but does its job. Update: it seems like nobody’s home when it comes to fixing and supporting this app. Control solution readings are still being recorded as regular readings. And now, FaceID seems to be broken. I try to turn it on in the in-app settings, and it turns itself right back off. When I click the “application support” link in the App Store, it just takes me to Kaiser’s homepage. Useless. Previous review: This app works well most of the time, but one star off for not recording control solution readings properly. Even though my Verio Flex records the reading properly as a control solution test, the app records it as a real reading and I do get asked by my doctor about the anomalous number and have to explain every time. Another star off for having their “app support” link lead to the Kaiser Permanente homepage, from which there is no actual route to support for this app. Sync time ranges from instantaneous to glacially slow for no apparent reason.

Why do you keep making updates that kill the ability to upload data?. Every time you send an update it always crashes my systems ability to collect the latest readings from my BP test meter. The previous update finally fixed it so it started working again but the latest update now a week later after everything started working has returned it to “unable to sync do you want to try again forever with no hope until the next update?” Did you hire the former Windows 7,8, or 8.5 development team to make sure this never works again? There is no reason for me to keep collecting data for this program if you make it impossible to send the data and frankly there is no point for me to keep bleeding into your stupid machine for nothing. I Quit !!! Now it seems I cant even post a review without finding a nickname that has never been used before.

Almost perfect. I preffered, pre last update, for my glucose measuring box to automatically update the info in this app. I now have to touch the + to have it upload the measurements. That is not a big deal. I took off 1 star because it is common for people with diabetes to have hypertension. So why do we have to pick 1 or the other to track in the app? It would be so much better for me if I could use the app for both diabetes blood glucose numbers and track my high blood pressure. I do agree that Kaiser in the past 25 years has been very proactive and is great for people with ADHD or brain fog as everything is in 1 place, even your reminders as to which appointment you need to book next. I deeply appreciate not having to go through the drama of figuring out what drs do what and which specialists are actually taking patients. When I was on a PPO it would take me months to find a specialist that was taking patients, still in business and covered by my insurance. Now it is fairly quick and I don’t have to burn my energy figuring it out myself. :)

Data download. This apps needs the capability to download entire database of BP readings to an Excel or comma delimited format file. This way when my doctor ask for my BP, I can provide the the entire history, rather than a point in time snapshot - give them the ability to see the BP change over time. Right now the way KP works, my primary care physicians do not see the history just the alert when BP is over threshold of target goal.

Good App. It’s a good app but falls short of great. The Bluetooth technology seems to take a while to transmit from the ABP to my app on my phone. I have an iPhone 12 and plenty of memory and storage and very capable of receiving and storing the data but it’s so slow to for the equipment to transmit. I don’t even know how to set up any alarms to remind me of taking a reading. Wasn’t an option on my version I guess.

KP Health Ally. This app works great for the “novice “ diabetic. Having my readings go directly to my doctor is a bonus. I would like to be able to set my diabetic range. This would keep me from freaking out when the meter indicates my reading is “in the red”, out of range.

Great app. Great app, love how I am able to look at my history. The only thing that I would change is if you would add support to add another device. I am able to have two devices synced but only with two phones. I have one machine at home and one at work so I am able to keep track even easier.

My Thoughts About This App. If I remember correctly I have been using this App going on 2 years now and it has had about 2 really good updates, I’m still getting used to it. It’s not a “like or dislike”, it’s a tool to measure and while I would like for it to contain more helpful information I can understand the limitations of this App, so I will give it more thought as I continue to use it. See no real input🤭

Liked older version. In the older version it had productive spelling which by the most part made it easier to write my message. It didn’t product words like “hour” or “dinner” until I typed the first letter in. On this new version I have to type in every letter of every word and the keyboard is large so can’t see what I am typing without pushing it up. Then when I touch the screen it starts loading again. And I have to wait again. Maybe they will fix this on the next version

Diabetes Glucose Reading. The app provides the basic information one would need to share with my diabetes team that I work with at Kaiser. The one area that seems to fall short is the range. I called Kaiser to see if there is a way to change the Glucose range. Unfortunately, the range is not the same for everyone and the one on the app is completely off for my age group. For example, a reading of 180 is considered to be good. Kaiser technical help said to leave a review for the developers to see… If the app range can’t be changed at least have it be allowed to transfer the range that we have set up on our meter. This upgrade would really be helpful!!!

Works Well. But the Update broke something. I’ve had no real issues with the system, although it can be sometimes difficult to sync. The most recent update has removed or otherwise damaged the graph feature. It simply reads with a error message. Hopefully it can be restored in the future, as I really enjoyed the visual representation over just pure numbers

Just a few issues. So, the app stopped letting me sign in by face id. Maybe because I'm on an older phone model (iphone 12 mini)? If I try, it freezes on me and I have to restart it to do a regular sign in. Also, it doesn't always sync my readings, even though I have it set to sync automatically. Very often, I have to reopen the app to get it to start syncing again. And I was trying to set this up on two devices, but unfortunately, it seems it will only work on one at a time when it comes to syncing. I can still see the same info, but having it opened on my other device won't allow me to sync my readings. Besides those issues, I do like how you can see your weekly scores in a chart and see your weekly average score. The videos are helpful, and I like that there are transcripts of them as well. I don't really get the need for achievements though. Seems unnecessary for things you'd be doing anyway - signing in and viewing your history.

Having issues. When I tried to open the app this morning, it said it needed to be updated first, so I did that and now it won’t open at all. It completely freezes after I hit Face ID. I’ve tried turning my phone off and on again, but that didn’t work. Also when I was able to open it, it never automatically synced like it used to when I opened the app. Now I have to hit the ADD button for it to even try syncing with my meter. I hope you can fix these issues.

Slow, Buggy, and Unreliable. So far this app has 'lost' or corrupted all of my data twice. There won't be a third time. It's slow. Most of the time it takes 15-30 seconds to save a single reading from my blood glucose meter. It's poorly designed. First I should explain that I have been a database developer for most of my career, with most of that in the medical field. This app synchronizes to a users local database one row at a time, requiring the user to explicitly save each row. This is a very poor design choice. Committing changes to the database should be automatic and much faster. Perhaps when the app is closed? This is easily done by creating an xml or transaction log that gets forwarded to the database upon exiting the app. There are dozens of ways it can be done. Kaiser chose to use the slowest.

Not a very intuitive app. Unintuitive design. The Home Screen annoyingly & persistently shows, turn on your pharmacy notifications! Once a user clicks on it, it should go away. But no, It's like the developers didn't know how else to fill the empty space!! The bell notification icon still shows the system maintenance warning of Feb 4, mind you today is Feb 7th. I can't find any help section in the app how to use it. Also, I find the app extremely annoying forcing me to log in every time. I don't give a fig about Hippa rules & I would like to remain logged in 24/7

Our of country!. This is a great application. However it seems that when one travels to Mexico and maybe other countries, this application does not work. Additionally, in the last couple of months the syncing has slowed down. But besides the recent slow syncing and not working while traveling in Mexico, it’s a great application.

Not available often. Similar to the KP app, KP Health Ally also isn’t available often and redirects you to sign onto the website. Unfortunately, there is not a place on the website to sync my results. When it finally allows you to log into the app again it gives you an annoying message about multiple readings detected and to remember to sync after each reading instead. I would do that if the app worked properly.

Latest change not good. The latest update made two changes that made the app less functional. It doesn’t sync and upload as fast after taking readings. I Either have to force it to sync or wait 30-40 seconds. Used to be immediate which was much better. And it doesn’t open to the comments on readings page. It stays in summary. Takes extra touches to put in comments. Why? Rating from what it used to be like. It was faster to use.

Much improved as of June 2024. The last six months of using this app have been ok, but there was usually a long wait to get the latest glucose reading uploaded to the app. The latest version though has fixed all that, and even without the app running in the foreground, it instantly gets the reading from the monitor. Also seems to have fixed issues with the app hanging on startup. Update July 2024 Now all of a sudden it just hangs upon login. Phone number listed in login help has been disconnected!

Need more data options. This app works great for keeping track of my scores and reporting them to my doctor. I would recommend that the averages available to the user be increased to one month and even quarterly instead of only weekly. This option is available in other apps that do not sync with the Doctor. An additional idea would be to allow the user to export the data to csv by month and year as well.

Please add Apple Health support. App has nice design, but I haven’t been using it and chose to use the manufacturer’s blood glucose monitoring app since their’s supports Apple Health and this one does not. Please add Apple Health support as that is a nice option for Apple users. The Apple Health app has a very nice user friendly experience and presents the health data from various sources in a easy to digest format for many people. The main Kaiser app already supports Apple Health, so it’s strange this particular Kaiser app does not as it would be great if it could sync its data to Apple Health.

Hey Kaiser, it is 2023. This app is unworthy of 2013. Following up on a previous review. Now that I have used the app for over a month, I find it is far worse than I thought. Every time I sync, it takes a long time spinning. Most times it says that the sync has been unsuccessful, but when I switch to “history” the reading is there. Even when the sync is successful, the app takes a while to “load” my new reading. <<<<<<<>>>>>>My KP region switched BP monitors and changed to this app. My experience has been negative. The pairing instructions were inadequate. Neither the instructions with the Bp monitor nor those with the app were adequate and they did not coordinate. It was only by chance that I discovered that the app displayed an average bp over time. Visualizing the averages required scrolling that was not intuitive. Daily, several hours after taking a reading and syncing with the app I get a message to remind me to synch my BP. The use of badges as motivation to use the app is infantilizing. I am an adult, not a six year old playing on a soccer team. Is this dysfunction due to people from NCal having zero knowledge or interest in the Mid Atlantic region or is there a different explanation?

Does it’s job well but could improve. The record keeping, the ability to check yourself and so on work well. It just takes too long to load the data. If i skip a day or two of syncing, it’s frustrating to have it take so long to update each record. Before I could login w/face recognition but now I must tap it as well. Why must it be synced every time? Didn’t before. Get rid of those quirks, especially those that didn’t exist before an “update” and I’ll 5 star you.

App isnt working now…. I have updated my app and now it won’t even log me in. This app was very helpful when it was working. I liked that I could now see a visual graph of my sugar levels and everything… hope it’s fixed soon? I also liked the little tips- though some weren’t that helpful.

A Godsend!. I am so grateful that Kaiser has provided this app that I use every day to check and maintain my glucose readings. It also lets my healthcare provider know how I am doing to make changes to my medication dosages. It’s easy to use and it provides a history of readings for reference.

Good App!. This app has been so helpful and it works really easy. Sure there’s a couple things they could add that would even make it that much more cooler but for now it works smooth easy to use and I’m glad they have it to be exact I wish most of the apps would work as smoothly as this one.!

Disappointing Lately. This app used to work well. Then there was a badge default on app for a couple months , but continued working well. Then the badge default disappeared a couple weeks ago. Now I have nothing but trouble every time I use the App. I get system error. It takes a long time to download then times out. Does same when making a note. I flip between home & history to get a BP reading to come up. I write down what is on the monitor because I have had some readings that never did come up. I hope some IT person out there does something about this. Wow! Must be lots out there like me because nicknames didpleased & unhappy already taken.

Missing readings. This is a great BP tracker! I get reminded to take my BP and if it’s been too long since my last reading. This would be 5 stars except I never know when it’s not going to record my reeding. This has happened a couple of times like the system is stuck. When this happens I open the app and do my bp check while it’s open for the missing readings to load. This is inconvenient because my phone is not always right by me when I take my BP.

Sign in. I’m not sure why I have to sign in every time when I opted for Face ID.. is it a glitch?? it’s a hassle to have to type in my info every time I open the app to record my entry.. why have the Face ID option if I can’t sign in using my face?? There’s no “stay signed in” option either.. Is there another app I can use?!

Member. I use it twice a day to send readings to Kaiser Drs. They read them and make adjustments in my medication. The results are positive it makes me to want to get better following their constant checking my progress My A1C was over 7 or so last month my latest result 6.1 The Kaiser system works if you work the system Thank you. John Glass

Verio flex onetouch. Usually, the app works pretty well, but sometimes it doesn’t sync with my meter and I end up not getting my reading recorded. I also wish there was a way to enter the number manually when this happens. Poking your finger to draw blood is just not fun to begin with and when it ends up being a waist, it’s frustrating.

Kaiser scores again. Kaiser is the most proactive healthcare provider I’ve ever experienced. If our doctor sees something out of kilter, we are hounded by our Kaiser doctors to remedy the situation, on multiple levels. those levels include extensive lab work, in person doctor visits, and health education just to name a few things. this app fits right in with that philosophy. This app has changed my glucose monitoring from a random haphazard disorganized mess, into a very disciplined system. Constantly reminding me if I forget to take my readings.

Works fine, with one extremely annoying flaw. App does what I says on the tin, but good lord I wish they'd fix it so it doesn't log you out every time you stop actively using it. Every single time I take my blood sugar test, the app attempts to sync the data, fails with an error because I'm logged out, and then asks me to log in again. It's at least easy to do that with FaceID, but that's just terrible app design. Please fix this.

Improved performance with last update. Moving from an “automatic” synchronizing of the app and the blood sugar meter to a user-requested approach solved the issue I had with this app. The older version wouldn’t sync occasionally and there was no way to force a synchronization. Now, the app syncs with the meter on request. I don’t have the blood pressure measurement device that this app supports but I see that this version of the app supports synchronization of blood pressure measurements.

Great app. Issue with latest update. Love that the new update pulls in narrative tags from the Verio. But now it won’t show the Graph tab (“Bad Data/No data/error”). Would also be great if it recorded activity linked from Apple Health, since deliberate movement is key to lowering my blood sugar. Otherwise, good job! Oh, and the work around to using both Verio and KP Ally is to close KP ALLY entirely before opening Verio. Record once there, adding all details. Then CLOSE Verio and open Ally. Syncs perfectly. Cannot run both apps simultaneously on the iPhone. Small workaround for good gains :)

Good, however…. I like that it keeps track of all my entries, only issue I have is that when I log in I sometimes get a “system error” message prompting me to try again later, but then when I’m able to log in I have to re-sync my one touch meter. If the developers could look into this problem then I can resume submitting my entries, so I do not lose track of my levels.

Just stopped trying altogether. So the solution to the slow sync is to just stop trying and give up altogether? I, like many others noted the occasional slow or failed sync but it was still quite usable despite having to occasionally force the shutdown of the app to get sync working. Now the app no longer even tries and just gives up out of the gate if it detects an app conflict. I found that the OneTouch app does better with syncing data from Apple Health (e.g. workout data) so I may have to delete this app and stay with the OneTouch app if they don’t find a proper solution to the app conflict.

Not logging on. Why can’t I log on now??? The app just sits there on the front page and no links work. I remember hearing that the app was going to be updated or some thing, and that we would have to download the new version. However, I have not seen it nor heard anymore about it.

Bring the averages back please!. Being able to see my averages has helped tremendously in keeping my blood glucose under control. I was shocked to see that it was removed in the update. Then on top of that another step was added to sync - why??? What was wrong with just pressing sync and have the sync occur? Instructions on how to take a glucose reading is included with the glucometer. Why make it redundant with extra steps just to sync. These were unnecessary changes. It’s stressful enough trying to manage diabetes and then have the app you use with the tool made more difficult to use. Please roll these changes back! Also, when clicking on App Support in the Ratings and Review section on this app in the App Store, why are we taken to Kaiser’s website (where there is no link to an email address or technical page for app support)? Why isn’t there an email address linked instead so as to be able to send issues/recommendations directly to Kaiser technical support? It’s better customer service to provide that option.

Minimalist dream. An efficient app with simple, easily navigated interface that won’t confuse anyone. Perfect for those that have minimal tech savvy. Functionality persistence has been flawless, not one single program shutdown, even after Apple updates HOWEVER, the app’s reporting function is inconsistent, and the function can not be initialized manually. Because of this I’m constantly receiving messages from Kaiser stating they haven’t received any information. For this reason alone I grant this app a four star rating. (Otherwise it would have been five )

Awwww … c’mon !. I was referred to this app by my Diabetes Health Manager for recording and syncing my glucose readings to my Doc and Health Manager at Kaiser. It worked very well (not perfect) for 2 months then I noticed the syncs were getting ‘sluggish’ or ‘delayed’ from when my meter picked up the blood drop until it registered on the app. Today, it wouldn’t sync at all. I attempted the test 4-5 times in a row hoping the readings would be recorded as proof of my insulin needing adjusting down. This was to be labeled as Pre-meal, but couldn’t wait to get glucose into me as I was going hypoglycemic; therefore, eating sugar immediately without recording the low readings. I’m hoping this glitch is in the software algorithm and being addressed as it is a good app to keep everyone on my team at Kaiser apprised of my progress in controlling my blood sugar. Nothing really helped me ‘record and address’ glucose readings doing it manually in a notebook, it was hit and Miss for me. But this app was always at hand as I carried my cell phone almost 24/7 and it was easy to use as a ‘vehicle’ for entering, recording, and viewing my progress… so convenient. It keeps me accountable to myself to eat properly and monitor my diabetes daily … and it provides my Diabetes Health Team real time info on my progress. I do hope the app team addresses the concerns I’ve read in these reviews … it’s a great tool when it works as designed. 👍

It works, I guess. This app does most of what I need it to do, but I miss the weekly, monthly, and 3 month averages of my old glucometer. It also likes to randomly load a lot, unless you turn off bluetooth on the glucometer after it syncs. It takes awhile to save and load, too, which is annoying when I want to make notes on my readings.

Works most of the time. Works well most of the time but the app keeps giving an error with the login sometimes so I will have to delete the app and re-download, then sync my device again. Blood sugar monitor also logs the Control Solution readings which is wrong.

Last update ruined it. It worked great until the last update - now wont connect - can’t re- add device, wastes hours trying to get it to work, garbage app now. They should have just left it alone. Why do these companies always “update” apps and completely destroy them? Soooo frustrating!!

Great but confusing. I use the app for blood sugar readings. The goal on the app is not the goal set by my doctor so I often think I am good but in actuality I’m not. There should be a setting that allows me to set my own goals so I can accurately see if I’m reaching goal or not.

Janky interface. Why-oh-why do I have to touch my screen for face recognition? And why does it tell me it has synced, why it hasn’t and I still have to touch the plus button to add a reading? It’s like an app from a decade ago.

Slow as molasses.. Even with a fast connection and an iPhone 13 pro, this app takes several minutes to upload a blood sugar reading. It aldo cannot work in the background. If you navigate away while it’s creeping along, it errors out.

Works good. It works good and quick. Sometimes it says error but quickly starts again. Syncing is easy too.

Problem with todays update. I needed to use the app this morning but was shown an update was needed. I did the download and now the app doesn’t work at all. Just a broken sign in page with no buttons working and I have an appointment this morning to go over readings. It doesn’t help when you click on app support that all it does is forward you to the home page for Kaiser. How is someone supposed to get help.

Awesome app. I like that my doctor can see my results right away also the weekly average was a nice feature I hope it will return.

Great to track. The OneTouch Verio Flex is great to track my blood sugar level. I took a star away because there are times that it doesn’t sync easily.

Lost the graph and average. The last upgrade appears to be a downgrade as the I can no longer see the graphs and different review options. Which means we also lost the weekly average. Please bring these features back and add a 30 day and 90 day average.

Needs estimator for A1C. Would be great to have a way to estimate A1C. Otherwise app works ok. Sometimes it fails to sync with my meter. Looking forward to improvement updates

Pretty Good. Overall I think the app is pretty good it has moments with most apps where it can become very glitchy.

Broken history plot. Last update broke the plotting. Please fix it and improve it so it knows the difference between AM and PM. Let us plot a longer period, 1 month, 3 months, etc.

Constantly buggy app. I have not had any other apps that break as much as this one. It often goes out of sync with my phone 15. And now I can open the app but not log in (buttons are not active). Perhaps it is time hire a new development team and recode this app.

Constantly loading. Every few seconds this app is constantly loading. Makes it a bit unusable, decent app to keep track of readings but hard to deal with when it goes back to loading something.

Buggy update. Ever since the update 3 days ago it’s been harder and harder to log into the app, load times are long and app keeps giving me errors. I can’t even log my blood sugar this morning because all I see is a error page each time.

No way to adjust time when in another time zone. I can’t seem to find a way to change my time zone in the app. So when I take a reading for my morning fasting, the time indicates the afternoon on the previous day.

Where is the app support?. I’ve been using this app without a problem. The app updated a couple days ago. Now the log on screen is froze. Won’t let me sign in. I have attempted to locate the app support and I am directed to KP’s website and there is no app support to be found. Hope the developers realize there is a problem and fix it soon.

Violation of privacy. I’m sorry but this app now syncs your data even when you aren’t logged in? That’s a violation of my privacy. I should be able to choose what I share with Kaiser and when. You can’t just take data without permission. And I don’t even see an opt out option. Going to offload the app. This is inexcusable.

Thank goodness the app alerts my providers. This app does all of the necessary ‘accounting’ of my blood sugar test readings by syncing the results. Yea! I went hypoglycemic and my providers were in email contact (with advice) within the hour.

Changed graph so it makes no sense. Prior to the latest version I could see the history in the graph with some context of my reading relative to normal. The change just puts all the readings in a box so there is no context. Dumb change that diminishes the app’s usefulness.

Blood samples made easy. Just take the sample and sinc with your phone: results go directly to your doctor. No pen and ink and keeping a log. Has made things less complicated.

KP Ally App. Frustrating to use this app . Have to keep resetting it (remove device then add device) every time I have a new reading. Now it says I have to update in order to continue using the app. When I choose to update the only option I get is to open the app (no update option) then I have to sign in all over again. I’m just going in circles. I give up!

Review. The device works extremely well. Thank you

Keeps losing ability to sync. When it syncs, it’s useful. But it keeps losing the ability to sync and I have to delete it and reload it to re-pair it. It takes forever and is really annoying. Also, while they’re fixing that, they should give to the ability to pair with more than one device. So I can have a device at work and one at home.

No Apple Health integration?. Doesn’t appear to integrate with Apple Health. A non-starter for me as the software from the meter company does that. So I have to use two Apps every time I take a reading, which can be annoying given Bluetooth flakiness. Add Apple Health support, it makes a lot of sense!

KP Health Ally. KP Health Ally is a rudimentary app with limited features compare to OneTouch Reveal app. The worst thing is it only supports OneTouch Verio Flex, a 5-year old meter that is about to go obsolete. KP Health Ally should support newer meter such as OneTouch Verio Reflect. All it needs is to add the device ID of OneTouch Verio Reflect during device check. The app also has problems syncing with the meter compared to OneTouch Reveal app.

Very Annoying to Use. I’ve being using this app for over a year now, and the frequent buffering is very annoying. I have to wait and wait for it to buffer multiple times just to enter one reading.

Latest update now can’t login. I just installed the latest update and now the app OS frozen on the login screen. None of the login links work so I can no longer use the app.

Difficult to use. App will not work if you are logged into the one touch app that is for the meter. You have to continuously log in to update your data. The app does not graph your readings in a easy to read format. Just in the last two days, I can’t log into the app as needed. The app is updated according to my account.

Easy to use. This is a great app for keeping track of and graphing your blood sugars. Also for updating your doctor with. Only issue I've had is that you can't manually enter readings from previous meter.

Apple health connection. The app does not sync with Apple health. Perhaps this is a HIPAA issue but it would be nice to not have to manually enter my glucose results into Apple health. If you make it an option then I’m giving my consent to share data.

Almost perfect. The app is very easy to use and I like seeing my results in graph form as well as daily numbers. Only complaint… it keeps logging off and sometimes the Face ID doesn’t work.

Wishes. I love being able to have my info readily available to my nurse practitioner. My only wish is that I could link two devices as I keep one in my room and the other in the dining room. I can’t even figure out how to manually add readings into my “log”.

Synching problem. Does Kaiser’s ‘development team’ ever test its work - seriously? I FINALLY WAS ABLE to ‘pair’ with the app and then it took FOREVER to synch my data…the 1st time I used the app. Now, the 2nd time, I can’t synch - it tries for quite awhile & then comes up with ‘err’. Getting my data to my doctor is VERY important to me and I DON’t like stressing out my heart every time I try to use ‘Health Ally’ - what a misnomer.

decent but want more tags. A decent app but wish it had user defined tags. Needs before during and after exercise etc. otherwise works fine.

Great app. It’s easy to use. Just open the app turn on the sugar reader and it sync all by itself. Doctor gets the reading right away.

One touch version. Simple to use. Get the information to your diabetic doctor effectively

KP Health Ally. I am very impressed with the set up with this app it enables me to check my Blood pressure and weights for accuracy as well as giving me options if there are discrepancies to fix the problem. T Stratton

Very easy to use. I have had this for about 2 years and it is flawless and easy to use.

Good but could use improvement. It could use improvement there is many time when im try to log in and it doesn’t allow me… its also allowing for me to sync my one touch verio flex

Terrible app, does not sync. I waste like 5 minutes every time trying to get the darn app to sync with my glucometer and most of the time I give up after5 minutes. With OneTouch app,I don’t even have to open the app, it just syncs as long as my phone is close by. Also, the app does not use Touch ID when you open, you still have to tap the fingerprint icon.

It’s Great To Me. I gave 5 stars because it’s only been nearly a year and it’s been great to me. After being told I’m type 2 diabetic. I’ll understand a little bit more about my readings. Thanks Kaiser your the bomb lol

Not able to sign in. Someone really dropped the ball on this update. The characters on the login screen are out of line and I’m not able to login using Face ID or my password. I’m not able to upload data for my Kaiser nurse. From a software programmer standpoint, this is grounds for termination.

Something’s wrong. I too noticed the sluggishness and this morning I’m unable to sign in at all. It’s as if the screen is frozen. Tried rebooting my phone a couple times but no luck. Went through a recent update, too. Now there’s a glitch? Fix it, please.

Deceptive. App gives a general range for glucose goals which is deceptive because not all diabetics have same goals. Also, when you assign “fasting” to your reading and your level is below 180, it tells you your glucose level is “normal” and “within range” when in reality Kaiser told me that my fasting glucose goal is below 130. Also there is no way to see your average.

Works well!. I’ve had my ONETOUCH Verio Flex for over a year and have not had one negative experience. It works well and is dependable.

Nice easy tool. I sync my latest A1C and can track my daily carbohydrates and blood sugar levels.

Love the app. Overall I have to say I love this app. I really like that I can upload them to my phone without afternoon to enter it in it links through Bluetooth. It would be nice if it gave us an estimated hemoglobin A1c based on our readings.

Things to add. It would be nice if I could enter the food I order at and day and time I eat them when I eat so it can help me keep track of what I can eat and can’t eat so I can know how to keep my sugar down

Great app but won’t update consistently. It’s a good app to keep track of sugars but the readings won’t sync and once in a while it will. I go through all the steps it says but it gives an error
