Samsung are you serious with this app?. What is the point of this app?

Not working. Just got it out of the box. App connects, however unable to import music to to app. Therefore useless just to control the lights. I have the remote for that. May want to take this one back to the developers for a redo.

What do you expect when in description are words “suppot”. Seriously how much could you expect from an app that has numerous misspellings on description page and throughout it? I was hoping to try it and it be like so many other apps that are rated badly but, how to put this nicely, fkin morons, teens/tweens, and most likely just grown up children that are living in fantasy land don’t know how to use correctly or rate an app badly because it can’t do something that it never claimed it could do, and one of my favorites, rate the app badly because they can’t “win” or get ahead in the game. Anyway I agree on this one to an extent, it decently works on a last gen 3 iPad Air but does act up now and then “ shuts down” “ have to open it 2-3 times” etc… but when it works it works and on my phone “ old Samsung note 10” it’s perfect all the time, wonder why that is? Haha.

Good speaker really bad app. Seems to have a lot of issues, I understand I’m using iOS and not android but come on Samsung you can do a better app for this platform. I feel like I’m not using this speaker to it’s full potential

Don’t bother downloading. It doesn’t work. The idea is brilliant but needs work. Waste of my time, I will manage the remote and the features it has.

It Won’t Even Connect ITunes. It can’t even find iTunes library 🙄😱

Absolutely useless App. Where should I start? No equalizer other than the presets, keeps scanning the network every freaking time looking for a speaker even after it finds it in the same session, so darn annoying. Can’t even turn the speaker off from the App, what??? Who made this garbage???

Unable to connect to tower. Model TW-J5500 No trouble connecting anything else Bluetooth but no luck with this app.

Doesn’t work iPhone 15. I’ve used this speaker for years and love it but I can’t play audio from the latest iPhone to it. The speaker works with other standard Bluetooth source connections (laptops, Android phone). My iPhone and various music apps (Music, Spotify, Amazon music, …) works fine with other Bluetooth audio targets (3 different Bluetooth headphones) but no amount of configuration and pairing option pathways seem to get music/audio to play to the speaker from my iPhone. The app can’t detect my local music library, none of the apps play through the target and revert to the device speaker, the app finds and connects to the speaker and I can adjust settings like volume and lighting color remotely… but no audio, sigh.

Import Songs?. The app has some apparent utility...however, in order to use it, you need to import songs from your device to the app. The problem is, there is no way to do it!!! The icon does not function. Please fix it or tell me what I’m doing wrong.

if you’ve looked at the screenshots, you’ve seen all this app can do. really, i just want to turn the bass down sometimes. i expected this app to let me do _something_ about this. it does let me turn the bass up but the remote that comes with it like this is the 90s is just about as functional as this app. if you’re reading these, save yourself any more of your life and just plumb your audio through an eq if you want what i want from this app (eq settings! c’mon samsung, my ‘87 corolla could do this much — also the website says the app can do this but it’s uh… how to put it nicely? “a lie”. yeah that’s it)

Doesn’t connect with iPhone. Can’t get it to connect properly with iPhone. It won’t connect directly to the IPhone and when you connect the crappy app it tells you you must import songs into the app to play — but there is no apparent t way to do that.

Took a while to figure out but works great. I like switching between Aux mode and Songs on Phone mode to. The app WILL FAIL if you don’t go into settings > Bluetooth on your phone and click connect again (even if it already says connected) every time you switch back to Songs on Phone mode from the Aux source. Other than this little bit of confusion it works great.

Horrible App. I just bought the tower and I love the quality of the music. However the app doesn’t upload my songs from my iPhone so I can’t use the app.

Please Please Please!!!!. Please please please make a better app for this Samsung tower speaker. Samsung has made one of the best Bluetooth tower speakers on the market but have paired it with absolute garbage. By far the worst app for Bluetooth speakers currently in the App Store and possibly ever. I know Samsung has enough money to put into building a better app. Honestly I am considering selling this speaker and getting the JBL because of how bad this app is. #GreatSpeaker/TrashApp #shouldbeashamed #1stappevermade

App Doesn’t Work. The app opens and connects to the Sound Tower. That’s where it stops. You cannot play music from your iPhone using it. It seems to be way behind the times and needs updating for iOS 15/16+ with the new privacy restrictions.

Solid App, But there are some downsides.. Honestly i don’t mind how the app functions. It’s UI is solid and pretty much self explanatory. It does leave a bit to be wished for though. I would like to be able to tune the amp inside my speaker rather than having to go through a third party to adjust the treble and bass of my songs. By all means it is a great app as a remote replacement if you lose the remote for your sound tower though.

Please try to upgrade this app for iPhone. This app is not working with my iPhone 8 plus, 10 and 11 Pro. We were highly appreciate if you guys upgraded this app. Because this app is not pairing with my Samsung giga sound system to my iPhone. Model is Samsung MX-JS9500

I am shocked at how terrible this really is. I’ve got MX-ST90B and I’d classify this app as actually dangerous. Click into DJ mode, bump something by accident - does it have a reset? No. Is there an EQ? No. Is there a way to turn off the loud startup noise? No. This is terrible software. I just hope that the only reason that they have not improved this app over this time is that the team was put into a ship and dropped off on a completely technology free island so that they can never do this to people again. And the product manager was thrown into a volcano.

Trash. Don’t bother downloading. It goes straight to the garbage. Zero effort was put into the development and the control over the speaker is minimal at best. Skip this altogether and get a Soundbox.

Access to my music. Your app is not accessing my music in my phone

Not functional. This probably only works on androids because it keeps just showing error signs fix your app Samsung

Please enable a custom EQ function in this app. This app functions even though it’s a bad UI and looks like a highschool programming project or something along those lines. Please at least provide custom EQ settings. I don’t care much how the app looks, just need this one function.

Slooow but mostly functional. Slow to connect. Love the st5b speaker but this is subpar connecting software. Please make it discover faster and quick connect.

Hasn’t been updated. The Apple version of this app is garbage. My friend has a Samsung and the sound tower app for Samsungs is 10x better than this garbage.
