Absolutely useless. The app worked sporadically until the last update when it finally refused to synchronize at all with my watch. I have tried everything to get it to work again but to no avail. Is Samsung health actually affiliated at all with Samsung? The galaxy watch app itself has worked flawlessly and it leaves me with this impression that the health app is run by a couple of people in a basement somewhere. I have seen plenty of other people complain about the same issue and yet no update has been issued and it has been over a month. I am kind of forced to have iOS (work phone) and would recommend anyone shopping for a watch with fitness tracking in mind look somewhere else.

Does not work at all. Please return IMMEDIATELY. I am disappointed to inform that this app simply did not work. I paired my galaxy active watch to the Galaxy Watch App correctly, but the Health app does not recognize that I have paired it, and does not sync ANY data. Bluetooth AND the galaxy watch app shows that it is correctly connected but the health app refuses to sync. I’ve dug through all the forums and tried all the solutions and nothing has worked. I have redownloaded BOTH apps, reset the watch, turned my phone on and off, turned Bluetooth off, manually disconnected it from Bluetooth, etc. hey Extremely disappointed, and would give this a 0 is possible considering that it will not sync any data. I would highly suggest getting another active watch (my old Fitbit worked marvelously) and return the Samsung watch while you still can. I read all the negative comments and still plowed ahead assuming that mine would work. It did not. Please return the watch and avoid a situation like mine. Just in case you need more convincing, please note that a quick google search will tell you that Samsung is notoriously unresponsive to complaints about the watch. I beg you- don’t be like me and waste money. Return the watch and buy from another vendor.

Made the switch from Samsung to iPhone- not the same!!. I absolutely love the Samsung health app on my Samsung phone. I wear a galaxy active watch and the app connects flawlessly to both my Samsung phone and watch. The Discover tab offered workouts and programs you could join that tracked progress all while programming for you (a digital personal trainer, if you will). So I make the silly switch to iPhone for family reasons, I still wear my galaxy smart watch because it IS compatible with iPhone. I download this app to my iPhone to continue my running program- which I am 4 weeks in the middle of. It is not there! The discover tab on iPhone is just news articles! The functionality is basically useless for iPhone. I refuse to buy an Apple Watch because it is not fitness geared- which is the reason I purchased my galaxy to begin within. I don’t understand why the same features are not available for both versions!

Extremely disappointed.. Two times in the past two to three months, the app had everything disappear except the three goal rings at the top. I had to completely reset everything in order to get anything to work. Then, today, everything was gone again, but this time even the goal rings were gone. How can you track anything if you have to reset everything every month? This is ridiculous. Not to mention, I’ve started getting an error every time I try to send an error report. I will never invest in anything Samsung again, that is for sure. These aren’t even including the watch issues I’ve had. So disappointed. Update: They reached out to respond to this review by telling me to reinstall the app (yet again) and restart my iPhone (yet again)... I’m sick of having to delete and reinstall this app, losing all of my data... isn’t the very point of an app like this, the data? I will not be reinstalling the app yet again. Too many issues between my watch and the app, both. Neither work correctly as often as they should, in my experience. Good luck to Samsung and other users.

Poor App. It saddens me that the Samsung gear fit 2 Pro which is an excellent device has apps of this poor quality to support it. This app constantly shuts down. It’s almost impossible to use the food function because it will suddenly just close and all your work will be lost. They say they answer emails within 24 hours. It has now been three days and I’ve not heard a response to my inquiries. Without significant fixes that allow this to function properly on an iPhone, the app is useless Developer: I always have the latest version of iOS (currently 11.2). As for when, I don’t see a pattern. No matter what I’m doing it simply disappears. When I look at open programs, Samsung Health is shown. When I click on it the program restarts. Developer 2: The only update I see use one that fixes the problem on the iPhone 5. It really doesn’t matter as I have switched to a Garmin product. In the future, I will be very wary of buying Samsung products

What a shame!!!. I own the new gear sport and I have nothing but great things to talk about it. The Samsung health app on the other hand is such a joke. Even the MSFT band app is so much better than this. So don’t blame it on the iOS restrictions. After a week of use, I switched phones. The watch indicated that the data will be reset. I was under the impression that all the health data is stored on Samsung cloud since the app was connected to my Samsung account. Guess what?? Nothing showed up in the health app after I paired the new phone with the watch even after connecting to the Samsung account. Later on I found some sync setting under my account which was turned off by default. I can live with the lost data. After 2 days of use I synced the app. All the data from today appeared in the app. But nothing from yesterday. I tried manually syncing again. No dice. No idea what is going on. As a cherry on top, the app started to crash randomly. Great job!!!

Glitches. I’ve been experiencing glitching and non-tracking of workouts. For the past two weeks I’ll begin my workout within the app and before I know it or by the time I’m done working out I’ll notice my workout session has stopped and hasn’t tracked my workouts/activity at all. I’ve also experienced glitching when I’m using the Samsung Health app. It’ll freeze or just automatically close the app. This can be annoying and frustrating at the same time because much of it occurs when I’m in the middle of my workout session. I hope this can be fixed very soon. As much as I know how active I am daily, it’s so much more motivating to open the app and have proof of that activity😊

No longer an issue with app crash. Crash no loner an issue. Can we get Apple Watch sync? Still app crashes as soon as open. It even does load and stay. Please fix. I regularly log my good and if not feed I need to move to different app. As I love Samsung app. It sync all my devices. PLEASE FIX. I like this app. alot. Track my progress though iOS because I also have NOTE9 and track there as well. I use Note for work and this so best suited for both services. If supported for latest iOS my rating would be 5😉😉😉

Total calories burned. Just converted to iPhone and was using Samsung health on my galaxy phones for years. One feature that I really liked was being able to see the total calories burned in a day (active calories burned+resting calories burned). On this iPhone version of the Samsung health app I can only see my active calories burned during exercise. Why is that? How can I see my total calories burned? Would be 5 star if this feature can be added. Update* developer contacted me pointing me to an article in medium, but like I noted in my original review the article only shows you how to see your active calories burned, not total calories burned (active calories burned+resting calories burned).

GPS tracking not working during workout and the pause and stop options rarely work on iPhone. I’ve found recently that the app is not mapping runs/walks even though I have GPS permission enabled at all times under the iPhone permissions for the application. Also, the pause and stop buttons seem to be more miss than hit in executing there function. Pause will bring up the resume/stop option but the clock keeps running and hitting stop does nothing. The program then crashes and comes back up with a notification about an internal error and loses the entire workout. Never use to have these issues before. Please fix.

Wish there were total weekly counts. The app is pretty decent I love how you have your food your steps your water etc. all in one. Only reason I give it 4 stars is because I think it can be improved. One thing I hate is that your weekly summary is only based on averages and is not average and totals; example total steps taken along with average steps taken or total miles for week. Another thing for the food there should be a barcode scanner for items you're eating. That would be extremely helpful. Rather than typing and going through a list of 50 items for one food. Lastly I wish there was a menstrual setting for women. I had that in a previous app and it was so helpful but unfortunately it's not in this app and it disappoints me because I would love to just have one main app with everything. Response to developer: i have a device, that galaxy active to watch. It's nothing to do with the heart rate. It is how on trends for the week it only gives you an average of calories burned and an average of your steps for the week it does not give you a total of each.

Good with iPhone 7, crap with iPhone 11. I have a Samsung Fit, and this app plus the Galaxy Fit app worked fine (it’s an odd back and forth handoff, but it worked fine). Since I upgraded to an iPhone 11 about three weeks ago, the software is constantly losing the connection, the band resets randomly, my heart rate data only downloads once in a while, and none of my sleep data is being downloaded. When I got this, I just wanted a reliable heart rate and workout monitor, and the sleep tracking was a nice bonus. Now, I get consistent step data, occasional heart rate data, and no sleep data. The extremely annoying thing is that I can see a tiny chart of my sleep data on the Fit, and the app tells me it’s downloading the sleep data, but it never displays it. I don’t know if it’s an issue with the app on the new phone, or they just pushed a crap update about the same time I got it, but I’m extremely disappointed to find that a great, minimalist fitness tracker that met my needs has all but crapped out on me. I have a lot of Samsung products, but I won’t touch their phones or any of their other personal electronics, if they don’t fix this.

Too many bugs. Have been using the Gear Fit2 Pro with S Health App on iPhone for a month now. I have reported the following issues to tech support: 1. app crashes consistently after a few minutes 2. minutes active are far too high - at 11am it will easily show 241 min active 3. total calories burnt as seen on Watch are no where to be found on app 4. when reviewing feedback regarding these questions, ‘my questions’ don’t consistently show up in the help section of the app (if even I get there before the app crashes again). I’ve never written app reviews before, but the S Health app works extremely poorly on the iPhone. I have (am) seriously considered returning the watch because the app is useless to me. I (for a minimum) need to see: calories burnt per day distance walked per day steps taken per day (though that seems to work) total minutes active per day Since the watch holds all this information, I really have a hard time understanding why the app can’t display this data. I have stopped using the app. I’m on the lookout for updates, hoping these issues will be solved at some point soon, since I do like the watch.

Barcode Scaner. The app itself is working decent so far. I will update if there are any changes. I did switch from a Fitbit to the Galaxy Watch, which requires this app. In doing so, I will have to say I do miss being able to scan my foods. Yes it is a little lazy. However, in this busy world we live in, it makes things go a lot smoother and I’m not spending forever making sure I’m choosing the correct option. As of now that is the only complaint that I have. Well, that and the fact that I learned today that it is not compatible with third party apps, which would solve the problem.

Best app I’ve come across for this category. This is an awesome app for keeping track of everything you can think of when it comes to health & fitness. Obviously this app was originally meant for Samsung phones but I have recently found that a watered-down version of this app is available for download on iPhones. When I say “watered-down” I just mean that the app is simpler in a way that it isn’t as visually appealing but still has most of its original functionality. Overall I would 100% recommend this app.

This app is amazing. Update: got a wearable watch. It has the app now has everything available to me. We’re good. Five stars Ok! So this app is amazing, I had it in my old Samsung but recently got an iPhone due to my entire family switching over. What I loved most about the Samsung app on my old phone was the stress tracker. I now have a Samsung watch which tracks stress but it hard to see on the 1 inch watch face. It would be wonderful since the iPhone doesn’t have a heart rate sensor ( and probably never will) if you could add the stress piece to this part of the app. In addition, you can make sure people would have to buy a Samsung product by saying something like. “ in order to use this section of the application you need a Samsung device with stress tracking already built in. Such at “ galaxy watch Active”. This app is great and I would love to be able to see what makes me stressed on a to be honest a bigger screen.

AG7. This app works so perfect on all my iPhones 6s +, 7s+, x as well galaxy s9+ and even with my gear x wireless headphones without no problem at all. I even get automatic update for this app on my iPhones and galaxy. And this app is very smart I don’t have to reset it nor I lose my data all my data it save by it self so no negative reviews nor complain I have on this app. All you need to know is how to set it up properly and it will work on your iPhones. I wish this app could be compatible with my apple watch 4 to installed on my Apple Watch 4. This app works very accurate is good.

Barcode Scanner. So far this app has worked wonderfully, but a few features would make this app much better. In terms of food tracking, I would love to be able to use a barcode scanner for food. It's so much of a hassal to manually enter in information even with the search function. For items I enter for myself it would be great to be able to edit the information after saving the item. The ability to mesh with Apple Health would be amazing! So many other apps can read data from Apple Health, but not S Heath which sort of drags. (I much prefer S Health to Apple Health). It would also be nice to see calories burned vs calories eaten. Edit: also, it would be nice to be able to delete a timeframe of data. Once it picked up the fact I was mowing the lawn on a riding mower thinking I was sprinting around the yard.

Very good app for tracking your health. As a former Galaxy S6 user, this app has been treating me very well. It’s one of the best health tracking apps out there. I primarily use it for running, hiking, and recording my weight, steps, heart rate, mood, and oxygen. However, this app is missing a few great features that are found in Samsung devices, the biggest being the heart rate monitor which can record the heart rate, mood and oxygen. Not much Samsung can do about it. Despite this, what they can do is optimize this app for the iPhone X and eliminate the black bars at the top and bottom of the app. Other than that, I’ll be continuing to enjoy this app as I transition to iOS!

Fine app itself, but drains my watch battery. Got a new iPhone and never reinstalled the S health app as I was busy in grad school and not working out enough to notice. Started working out again and realized I didn’t have the app so I couldn’t transfer my workout data. I downloaded the app after my workout and threw my watch on the charger that night. The next day my watch’s battery was draining like NONE OTHER. Actually could watch my battery number decrease. It went from 100% to 80% in less than 2 hours which was unreal. Usually with everyday use including having Bluetooth on it would drain ~15-20% in a DAY. I uninstalled the S health app and my battery stopped draining. So that stinks. Can’t use the watch with my phone to store my workout data which is the reason I had the app in the first place. Wish there was a setting to turn off continuous updating unless the app is on. If there was one, I couldn’t find it in any of the settings or when I searched google. Please fix.

My review Gear Fit app. First it’s disappointing that we have to have a secondary app for the gear fit to see the activities, there should be at least some data on the actual app. Second the data on the secondary app should be easier to access. I feel like I have to search every time I use the app to find the information I am looking for. You should make it easier to scroll through the data of our current day and the days past for comparison all data like sleep steps ETC should be on a snap shot view with tabs to get greater details and at the top of that page in the left corner an arrow pointing back to view yesterday’s information. And then of course a weekly view like you have with the trend tab now. I like my data in quick views with options for greater detail. That’s just me thanks!

Below average at best!. App is trash with so many of the main features or most important ones completely missing which is so confusing. The app works great with your watch and Nothing else. Most of the food in the calorie count is missing or not there. Leaving you to have to add even the simplest of calories. KROGERS CHICKEN!!? No mention seriously!? And because of this you’re forced to add them in yourself. The entire nutrition facts just to keep count! Lean beef? Not added gotta do it yourself. Uho went to a restaurant? NOT THERE! Figure out what you ordered and it’s nutrition facts. Uho you forgot your watch? Or it died? Or simply just didn’t count the steps you did? TOO BAD. You can’t add your steps in! Went to the gym and did workout to add? Nope can’t do that either. What about the app asking you to rate it? NO! Can’t do that either find it in the store and rate it manually! So disappointed with this app. Hate so many of it’s useless features that are basic in so many others. I used this app because of my watch. And now I see all its flaws so disappointed! Verdict is a 4/10!

Correct steps won’t sync. Received the new SHealth update for my IPhone 7 and the steps from my S3 Frontier will record steps from my phone but will not include steps from the watch also. The gear will sync with SHealth but never puts the watch steps in the total for the day. Have reset everything but still does not function correctly. I finally got the SHealth to work I completely reset the watch and started at the beginning and it now works as it is suppose to. It now all works well

Please Update Display for iPhone Mini. I've been using Samsung Health on my iPhone for years. It helps me track the health & fitnes data that's most important to me: steps, sleep, heart rate, calories, weight, etc. It's a shame the developer hasn't updated the app for iOS users in over a year. The current app looks terrible on my iPhone Mini. The display is zoomed in, and I can't see portions of the graphs because they're cut off. There are no options to adjust the display size in the app settings, so it makes me think they made the app only for users with bigger phone screens. Please fix!

Three Major Bugs. Premise: I really love this app! I so appreciate the Samsung gear watch, and I love that it has an iOS version app. I also love the ability to set goals, log food, and compete internationally with steps! All great things!! Without the following bugs, I would give this app 5 stars. 1) the app will misplace food entries, specifically putting yesterday's dinner/"evening snack" into today's log for dinner/"evening snack". It is very frustrating to have to reprogram meals into previous days; I often have to do it two or three times before it sticks! Very bad. 2) the app immediately crashes when I try to access my physical goal (one of the top wheels in the upper left corner that keeps track of my total activity of the day in terms of minutes). The screen goes black and returns me to my home screen :/ extremely frustrating. 3) I am unable to write a comment/complaint to Samsung directly through the app. Every time I try, the message either refuses to send or the app itself crashes. I have tried different internet sources, resetting my whole phone, refreshing the app -- nothing allows for me to send communication over these problems directly to the app creator :/ Please note: my iOS system is up to date as of two days ago, and problems persist/worsen. My phone is iPhone 6 gen. I have the latest update for the Samsung app. I hope to update my review of this app if/when these bugs are fixed. I hope to hear from the Samsung team soon. Thank you.

Missing the running coach metrics. I have loved the Samsung Health app on my Samsung phone paired to my Samsung smartwatch. Recently I switched to an iPhone but kept my Samsung watch and still use the Samsung Health app for my workouts. A few questions/issues I have come across since I switched phones though. 1) After I record a run on my watch, there is no longer a way I can view my running metrics like symmetry, stiffness, air time, etc. Is that a function that is not available though the iOS version of Samsung Health? 2) On a bike ride with my Samsung phone and watch, I used to get the audio coach to my Bluetooth headphones (non Samsung or Apple) every mile. The coach still comes across my watch speaker but no longer through my headphones. Do I have a wrong setting or is that not supported? The headphones will receive music and phone calls like they did with the all Samsung setup. 3) Lastly, on my Samsung device I was able to pair MyFitnessPal (MFP) app to the Samsung Health app. It would allow me to record my weight in MFP and record workouts on Samsung Health. Then all of my steps and workouts would show up in MFP from my Samsung Health activities. Now I can’t seem to figure out a way for the two apps to talk on my Apple device. Is that feature unavailable? Thanks for your time and thanks for making an overall great app.

Used for years. Very few issues that I’ve ever had with this app. The biggest reason I gave a 4 star rating is the transfer of info from one device to another. I’ve had this app for a long time, over the lifespan of many telephones and as things happen on one of those times my telephone number had to change. My Samsung account to reboot my old info requires a two step verification and it is totally like Samsung cannot believe I have a new telephone number so they send the cold to the old number no matter how many different ways I go about changing it. So I have restarted using the app from scratch 3 or 4 times now. Other than that, the app keeps pretty good track of your workouts, I have noticed some features it seems to baseline on. I use an elliptical trainer on days that I can’t go outside and run. I can have a burn out session on my machine for 30 minutes. My elliptical may say I’ve covered 2100 steps in 30 minutes and burned 550 calories and the tracker on the app alway seems to say, 30 minutes on and elliptical is 311 calories…every workout. I love the kayak feature but I’m just starting to use it. I paddled around for an hour last night and it said I burned 33 calories, 🫤 c’mon man! I burned 33 calories unloading the boat! With that said…I absolutely love the food tracker and the food score, I love the walk/run tracker. I have had apps that I have paid for that is no where near as well made as this app, everything in one place. It is awesome

Thank you for your response. I’m gladly changing my rating to 5 stars, i took a look at the article you suggested and yes it solved my problem, now I can see the full details of my food intake which is exactly what i need to track my progress ( don’t know why it was hidden from the food tab) thank you again I really love your app, been using it for 5 years and in my opinion it’s the best health tracking app ever, just make sure in future updates you put these things in the main tab of the app so people can see them or just make the options for “eat healthier, be more active and well rested” enabled by default because it’s kinda hidden now and people won’t know how to enable them, looking forward for future updates, keep it up 👍

App stopped counting/syncing steps. I have a Galaxy Watch 3. I use it daily for recording biking or running. It correctly counts the steps based on those two exercises. However, when the watch is synced with the S health, the app doesn’t take the step counts, still shows incorrect number or zero most of the time. It has been happening since two weeks. I tried reinstalling, resyncing, restarted watch, restated phone. Nothing helped. Update: After OS update issue looks fixed.

They’ve fixed the restart loop bug!. Although I tried unsuccessfully to report the issue of a bug that causes my Galaxy Fit to go into a reboot loop indefinitely upon installing this app, I’m pleased to say that the new update has completely fixed the problem and made my tracker usable again! I can finally track my sleep, exercise, steps, and other activities through the app. Really grateful to the developers for fixing the issue despite me not being able to report it through the system but rather just through a review here.

The burned calories calculation is not accurate.. What I like.. The watch features are great the ability to add a second time zone on your watch, and find your phone, the bixby aloud to talk to and take u to exactly what u are looking for is great, I am coming from a Fitbit, and the accessibility of the galaxy active watch is amazing. What I don’t like.. The exercise calculator on the amount of burned calories is wrong by a a rega of 300 or even more.. I calculate over my old Fitbit and heart monitor and the sensor from the machines in the gym I did several trials and the numbers of galaxy active watch is different by far.. All the previous devises mentioned was not much different from each other. And the some features is not available to sink if u have a iOS. Witch I do. Like reply to text and answer phone calls and weight management. Overall if u already knows the amount of calories u bun on a daily basics might suite you. I decided to not retuned this watch because the features are so cool, and I really like it. I also have a hope that one day the calories burned it will be accurate.

Steps don’t sync after update. Sleep, workouts and heart rate sync fine but steps show zero in the app, even though they show on my gear fit 2. I have deleted and reinstalled the app, restarted iPhone and gear fit 2, checked gear fit 2 for updates and still doesn’t work. Very frustrating. Everything worked fine til the update. I also wish gear fit 2 had the aerobics, skiing (and other sports listed in the app) as an option when selecting a workout. It would be a nice enhancement. EDIT: software version R360XXU1DQJ3. Edit2: I updated to 3 stars as I did receive a response and instructions on how to get additional help. It’s still not syncing steps but I’m following up to get more help. EDIT 4: it’s finally working. Support desk sent a long list of things to try and one worked. Thank you. Leaving my rating at 3 as it could be so much better but for the features available it works as advertised

Not compatible with Galaxy Watch. I purchased a Galaxy Watch having read that it is compatible with iPhone (although with somewhat reduced functionality.) To discover now that Samsung Health is no longer compatible with the Galaxy Watch is extremely frustrating. It makes no sense to me that the primary health tracking app wouldn’t include the Galaxy Watch. UPDATE In response to the developer’s reply: I do have the Galaxy Watch App installed, but unfortunately the Samsung Health app does not share all information with it. Any workouts tracked on my watch do not transfer to Samsung Health. Nor do steps. The watch connects to the Galaxy Watch app fine, but you can’t use Samsung Health to track your workouts. I’m very frustrated because I like the watch and it’s functionality very much. I just wish that the software supported it in iOS. 2nd UPDATE I response to developer’s reply: I’ve already followed the procedures you lay out to remove, reset, and then reinstall on both my phone and watch. The Galaxy Watch app and the Samsung Health app still do not talk to each other. I see the same issue in many other reviews. It’s frustrating because it makes the watch useless for fitness tracking. I wish the developer would rewrite the app so that Samsung Health would be able to receive the watch information, whether through the Galaxy Watch app or (better yet) directly.

Limited. One of the only reasons I stick with Apple phones is because of their Health app. It allows me to track my menstrual cycle, fertility, sex, and so many other health features when it comes to women’s health. I wish there was an option or a category for women’s health. There is also a section for health record management. That allows me to manage medications. That’s incredibly helpful for me personally. I feel like if there were these improvements or even options on the app it would help everyone who uses it. I love Samsung products but having these resources are important to me. There are many improvements that can and should be made. I would appreciate knowing if these are possibles and if so when they will take affect.

inexcusable fail. This app: 1) failed to sync any of my contacts forcing me to reset and uninstall after I had already spent time setting everything up. 2) has no provisions for truly stand alone LTE for the Galaxy watch at least. It can only piggyback off your normal phone so if you have prepaid you will not be able to use LTE. 3) has a terribly unintuitive UX. Samsung embedded their Google play store knockoff and it doesn't ever have an easy to find section for watch faces unless you're trying to view the tiny little thumbnails from the watch itself 4) is riddled with all kinds of garbage UX that redirects you to a different place to turn something on or Grant permissions

Really Good but disappointing recently.. Samsung Health has always been my go-to app for calorie counting and has helped me lose a lot of weight in the past. However each time it gets a new update more features are taken away from it. I recently read online that in some parts of the world they have even taken away the calorie counting feature, which is the number one thing I use in the app. So Samsung if you’re reading this will this feature get removed? This app has always been my favorite and would have five stars if it weren’t for this taking away of features with every update and some lagginess that I have experienced in the app from time to time. Other then that the layout of the app is great. It had very cool and helpful features and still does just not as much as it use to. The only thing it never had which would have been good is an option to scan barcodes which would make adding foods to the calorie counter easier as oppose to typing them out in the search bar. Either way I found the calorie counter to be great and I really hope it doesn’t get removed from the app.

Version 1.5 review. This update doesn’t help anybody or doesn’t contain any useful thing, just some minor improvements and some very small changes that they aren’t useful, when I read all comments, I suppose the Samsung Development team will integrate this app with Apple health kit with high priority but, this is disappointing to see after two months just we have some small changes in notifications application lock and no login!!! These are not serious for all users, please make integration with Apple health kit to satisfy the users, now i give you only one star, after getting good experience from this app, will give you 5 stars, we need just Apple HealthKit integration! (simple thing for Development, ready api just use it)

Much improved, but still buggy. The app largely does what you want from a health tracker, though the interface isn't entirely intuitive. You can view and enter data from selecting in the goals display or by clicking on a tracker item added to the grid. What I don't understand is why those take you to different interfaces for the same data. It's like the developers couldn't decide on an approach so they gave us both, but both are incomplete without the other view. Syncing is much improved with the latest version of the software, plus a firmware update on my G3 watch. Biggest problem for me is a date/time bug which affects entering "dinner" details. Looks like it doesn't correctly account for your local timezone (I'm on EDT) so entries will disappear for today and show up instead for tomorrow. Sometimes it doesn't happen immediately, so you briefly see the totals you expect only to have them change. Super frustrating as it seems there's no good way for the user to correct it and force the date, and you can't delete the data for tomorrow until, well tomorrow. I've even seen it happen trying to correct data for the previous day despite having the date and time explicitly set.

No details for fitness makes it worthless. My number one problem...while you can see a nice pretty graph for your workout heart rate data, you can’t get any details at all. Same with steps. Bar graph. Good luck trying to actually figure out how much you walked at a specific time. If it had any other app integration it would help. Apple health, Cardiogram. Either of those would allow you to actually look at your data instead of a couple of general graphs. Love my Galaxy Watch 46mm. However, I’m considering other options due to the limits of this app and my ability to view my data. Update: Samsung Health also had a problem where you couldn’t sync data with an iPhone unless you turned off Bluetooth, went back into galaxy watch app, sync there, then go to Samsung Health. They finally fixed that problem! Sync works again. Of course this happens just after I finally bought another Apple Watch. Couldn’t stand the lack of workout data and the sync problem. Soo long Galaxy Watch.

I recommend the Samsung Health app. I used the Samsung Health app for some time while I had my Samsung phone. I enjoyed the capabilities of the functions in the app and enjoyed the heart rate monitoring sensor associated with the Samsung phone and the app. My Samsung phone crashed and my family members are all I phone users so I am now using an I phone. I was disappointed that I could not find an all inclusive app such as this Samsung Health app. I downloaded it again onto my I phone and I am happy once again except for the fact that I do not have the heart rate sensor on my I phone to use with the app. I may have to buy a watch that will relate the HR to the app. I recommend this app because of its functions and ease of use!!!! This app has many different fitness categories to choose, an active pedometer, and categories to track food consumption for nutrition. I am currently using the food intake function to track and limit my calories and I am happy with this function as well!

Confused app. It seems as though everything had been fine until daylight savings time. Today it couldn’t figure out that it was on today and was referring to information from yesterday. I tried to load things for today on my food app and it kept loading yesterday. I did at times get it to put things on for today but in the last meal, it took all of the information except for the calories for today and put it on yesterday. Baffling. Help

Chock Full O’ Glitches. This application requires at least two attempts to launch before tracking any activity. It simply closes and needs to be re-opened. When it is (finally) successfully launched, it freezes after completing a run, walk, or bike ride. It doesn’t discriminate. The “Pause” selection is merely that, a pause in recording an actively, while the clock continues. Then the app performs its customary freeze function. It should be renamed as, “Pause/Freeze.” The required transition to “Stop,” simply doesn’t work. I find that performing a complete shut-down of my iPhone, is an effective way to get the darn app to stop recording any more time. Deleting and downloading the app hasn’t solved the operational issues. Inconvenient. Frustrating. Like the watch, not a fan of this application.

So disappointing. I have loved my Samsung watch but S health never syncs with my iPhone. It says 0 steps everyday. It doesn't integrate with any other fitness activity apps. The watch is great but the apps render is useless for tracking any activities done. Update:. Samsung asks what I am using gear fit 2 with an iPhine 6. It barely worked with my Samsung phone. Now the app just takes up space on my phone. I am so disappointed. It does not read my watch or my phone steps. I have done all the resets and Bluetooth suggestions they mention but funny that they always act as though it is user error rather than the app. But they know it is the app. What good is the watch data without the app? I love my watch bit the app is trash. And this basically means my watch is only able to 25% of what is promised.

Junk- Waste of Time. Such a nice idea to compete with friends in a social environment - one of the reasons I bought my "Gear." It worked, then didn't, worked, then didn't- then dumped all my workout data- and now will not even launch! What a waste of time and storage space, and what a frustrating fact that you cannot use the Samsung Gear S2 or S3 reliably with ANY software- especially not this app. I will never purchase a Samsung device ever again because support is so limited from a company that does not stand behind their product. SUCH A NICE WATCH, LOADED WITH FEATURES THAT DON'T WORK. SUCH A NICE APP- UNTIL YOU INSTALL IT AND SEE HOW SPORADIC IT IS, WITH RANDOM FAILS AND UPDATES THAT F*@K EVERYTHING UP. For the record- I have an iPhone 8, and Samsung galaxy S8, Tab E4 pro and other Samsung devices-- FitBit is the way to go- paired to whatever you want, has never failed me and gives professional results. Samsung works across the board for me about 12% of the time. Keep it up Samsung, and see how long you stick around! Your stocks are falling just like positive reviews here at the store.

Get an Apple Watch instead. I have an IPhone and use with Samsung’s Get Fit Pro2. From day one the floor counter has not worked. The weekly summary frequently does not display when due. It may appear piecemeal after several days. Recorded dinners frequently appear on the following date as opposed to the day entered. All technical support replies are directed as though you have a Samsung phone and thus not helpful. I realize I made a boneheaded move my not buying the Apple Watch having gone with the Consumer Report top rating instead. Live and learn.

No totals?!?!?!. This app works OK. I have it connected to an iPhone. Today I chose the exercise walking, I stopped after a couple of minutes and it never started back up again. Fortunately I had my phone with me. My only option was to finish the work out or start a new one. I was not able to pause and then restart. The phone also does not catch on to the fact that I’m going on a walk until I have walked for probably 10 minutes. The worst thing about this app is that it does not give you weekly or monthly totals. I am trying to get back into running and I am also in a group challenge of 100 miles of walking a month and I have to manually total every day.

Rarely will sync with iPhone. The Samsung gear watch I would give a four out of five. The app I gave a two out of five. Rarely will it sync between the watch and the phone. Tried resetting both. Sometimes it will work most of the time it won’t. Makes fitness tracking with the watch next to impossible. And very frustrating. If you are using an iPhone, I wouldn’t suggest using the Samsung watch and app. Updated Tried all of the suggestions from Samsung. App just plain doesn’t work at least with an iPhone. If I play with the watch by shutting it down then turning it back on, then closing the app and opening it back up, I may be able to get it to sync once or twice. Who wants to do that every time? Never had a problem with my Fitbit. Giving up on it and throwing it in my junk drawer

Upgrade was a downgrade. This app was recently upgraded, and ever since, the app has lost a lot of functionality for food logging. Number one, on the meal screen, it won’t let me scroll down to see all the snack meal categories, so I can’t use 2 out of 6. It’s a minor inconvenience but I liked how granular it was with tracking. I am on a 15 Pro, and I’ve attempted app closures, phone restarts, and even a fresh app install, and still no fix. Number two, you can no longer add custom food items with macros, so no creating “favorite meals” out of your custom recipes to track, you have to search for each item individually, adjust serving sizes, etc, it’s a pain. It’s a shame that this app lost that feature, because I find this app easier to use than MyFitnessPal, and the custom macro feature on that app is present but is behind a paywall.

One improvement needed. I use the app to track several things, including physical activity, water intake, and calories. For the latter, I like that it remembers foods I’ve entered previously, making searches and entries much faster. But, it does not adjust my daily caloric allowance to my activity. A precious tracker I had would monitor my activity so that if I had more activity, it increased my caloric allowance for that day. For example, toward the end of the day, I might be short the number of calories needed for a desired food. If I walked (or some other activity), that tracker accounted for the exercise and increased how many calories I could have. This tracker does not do that, unfortunately.

I really like this app, but some of its bugs make it unusable. I just wanna say I do not hate this app whatsoever I love this app very much and I’ve been using it for a couple of months now. I use it primarily to track my eating habits and to track my cycling and mountain biking progress. I normally go on biking trips for up to two hours and track from start to finish. recently when I finish my trip and I look back on my progress the app crashes and all of my progress is gone. this is extremely disappointing. i’ve also recently encountered a glitch where when I add my food The nutrition score stays at zero and does not rise. and that’s not because I eat non-nutritious food, my eating habits havent changed much and it used to actually show a score a couple of months back. I would totally give you guys a five star review with these two issues can be addressed and fixed. this app is incredible and it is help me lose weight in the past but these recent issues make this app unusable.

Will not stay connected to Galaxy Watch. This app is rubbish. It continuously looses connection to the Galaxy watch. Feedback from Samsung was to update the watch firmware but the watch app does not give that option on an iPhone. Tried updating firmware on the watch but says 4.0.0.1 is the latest. Current firmware is 4.0.0.4. Get your act together Samsung.

Samsung health. Really good app, but what is the point of making a health app when young people can’t sign up, disappointed 😤😤

Great app, but.... Used this app for years on my Samsung’s without fault. Have transitioned to iPhone for work and unfortunately several features are missing. Tracking daily calorie intake and burn against weight loss target was very motivating. Unfortunately not present on iPhone.

Feedback. Slow to respond. Difficult to track position; even shows hiking over water. Rarely provides full log of distance travelled. Drops out during logging.

Galaxy watch 3 app. This watch is the last watch to be able to connect to your Apple iPhone. With the series 4 not being able to connect at all to iPhone at all rendering the apps useless in the future. I hoped Samsung health would have been better at sharing health information with Apple health. So for me it’s an end of a journey with Samsung.

Good Monthly Competitions. I like the monthly step challenges, I would love this app a whole lot more if it would sync with the steps recorded on my Apple Watch. That is the only thing I don’t like though.

Still hit and miss syncing Watch to iPhone after a year waiting for updates. I love my Galaxy watch , I also love my iPhone, They don’t like each other much, Constantly switching Bluetooth off and on , rebooting Watch , Samsung health and Galaxy watch app to get them to sync with each other, Even deleted Samsung Health app and reinstalled. This helped for a few days but then back to issues syncing one way or other . Finally get a Samsung Hwalth app update, Happy for 3 days , works properly and syncs. But after that back to not syncing one way or other. I hate the shape of the Apple Watch but it is getting more and more tempting,

Useless on Iphone. It’s useless without being able to sync with Apple Health or Fitbit app. All other apps can only read from Apple Health and without the ability to sync with it, just makes the watch useless, worse than my $50 Xiaomi watch.

Conflict with GPS, mapping and location services on iPhone 6.. For some reason this App was one of several that caused my GPS on an iPhone 6 to show wrong locations.

Exercise. Love this app it’s the best for me when I’m walking my multiple kilometres.

Doesn’t stay connected to watch. This app constantly disconnects from the watch and this is worse since the last update. Any time I want to take a look at my health data, the app says “no wearable device connected” and I have to reboot the watch in order for it to connect and transfer data. Every time now. It is ridiculously inconvenient to the point of defeating the purpose of having a wearable device with a “syncing” app. I understand the limitations of staying connected to a Bluetooth device in the iOS environment, but that’s not really the issue. The frustrating thing is that the app will not recognise the watch on opening the app and a reboot is required for them to talk. I shouldn’t have to reboot the watch every time - it’s absurd. I doubt it’s an issue with connecting to the phone because the Samsung Watch app does not suffer the same issue; it stays connected just fine. This Health app is the problem. I’d give the app four or five stars if it stayed connected as the features are quite good. However, those features are near useless if it will not retrieve the data.

Apple Watch Support. I love this app as all my friends have Samsung but I love my Apple Watch and wish it would import the data from it or even the apple health app. Please please please look at incorporating the Apple Watch into this app as after the last Apple Health update its a horrible app and Samsung Health is so much better.

The best exercise & calories tracker. I was very fond of it on Samsung, and was thrilled to find it available through Apple apps store once I switched the phones. It is not as good as the original version, but even then it’s still the best health app I could find. I wish more features were available in the Apple version, especially the ability to use on low battery while tracking the exercise (when the screen can be changed to black, and it doesn’t turn off).

Activity doesn’t always update. I often go on walks and once finished I often am unable to upload, finish activity. This problem is only on Apple iPhone. Was fine when I had Samsung phone

Keeps shutting down. Since the last update 5 days ago, the app has shut down mid-run every time. I was happy with the app til then. Not so happy now.

Excellent app from Samsung Health!. I bought a Samsung watch a few years ago and it’s kept my vitals for same time. From my heart beat to my sleeping patterns. And the most important part is your eating habits, recording your calories and getting a good sense of what’s happening health wise. Excellent app.✅✅✅✅✅

You killed your app. This app was working perfectly on my iPhone until this latest update. Now it’s totally dead. The app won’t even open. All attempts to reset it have failed. And if I delete and reinstall I lose all my data. Please fix it!!!

Weight management removed. I used to love this app and use it all the time in conjunction with my Samsung active watch. It was so handy having everything in one app. Now I have to switch between different apps and stopped using Samsung health all together. Will the weight management widget be added back? If so I would love to start using Samsung health again but I am so disappointed

App does not connect to watch. Samsung Health app not connecting with Samsung Galaxy Watch, even though my phone is connected via Bluetooth & wifi, and the Galaxy Watch app is connected and syncing to the watch. I’ve rebooted the watch, double checked the watch and app are running on the same account & keep clicking “sync” on Samsung Health, but it will not sync or connect to my watch.

Update issue. Since the last update my Gear Fit 2 shows that it is connected in settings but when I refresh the main page it says “no wearable devices connected”. I can’t view or track any of my activity from the past week.

Missing key functionality. You cannot sync your data (most importantly, steps) from Samsung Health to the Apple Health app. All the steps recorded by my Gear Fit 2 are essentially useless as a lot of my apps only read the Apple Health step data. Will this functionally be coming to the app soon?

Stop locking users in. Free the data!. Since samsung does not get their own health ecosystem sorted, you need to open up. Devices become more and more useless. - Samsung Health app for iPhone has no sync into Strava - Samsung Health app for iPhone can read the Apple Health data, but does not allow to write apple health data Enable the Sync from Samsung Health into Apple Health. This should be a very easy fix and doable within 4 weeks from now. Update: received a mess that claims there is an incompatibility, which is the laziest excuse a developer can give. Go and fix it. Others have got it done as well!

Reza. Hi, thanks for the update, it would be great to share the collected data with Samsung health with apple health. At the moment Samsung health app have access to apple health data but apple health not able to access Samsung health data. Thanks for support your product with iPhone.

Starting out. Starting out using this app can be a little bit frustrating but once you get used to doing it it’s quite easy to use There are times when I’ve done extra kilometres and has not recognised so you don’t get any rewards the verity of exercises you can select are quite good The search engine on the food items is also quite reasonable as it covers most day today Food

Lazy & Incompetent. Slow, clunky sync between my Gear Sport and iPhone 8. Zero data is synced with the iOS Health App even though all options are on and finally the App UI is terrible and unintuitive. Why bother Samsung? If you don’t want to play well with Apple products then simply don’t do it. Stop pretending!

Love it. It’s simple and easy to track activities and eating. Love it

Not as good as the Samsung version.. Would love to have Blood Glucose levels and blood oxygen saturation levels included as they are in the Samsung version. Also, would like to be able to edit exercise.

Pls update for phone 11 pro. I purchased the new iPhone 11 Pro and researched well and purchased the 42mm Samsung galaxy watch after being assured they were compatible with iPhone and the Samsung health app. After spending much time on live chats with Samsung and speaking with Telstra it actually looks like my watch will not sync with the Samsung health app on iso (13.6). The watch connects with the wearables app and to the iPhone via Bluetooth but not with Samsung health. Very disappointed. Can u pls update the app to allow compatibility with iso 13.6! As stated above, the issues is not connecting the watch to the iPhone 11 Pro. I did as u stated above but the issue is connecting and syncing the watch to the Samsung health app. Even though the phone and watch are connected, when I search for the watch in the app it says no device connected. It’s the app that needs updating to be compatible with the watch! Have tried all of these suggestions again and went to the link also u sent. Still nothing. As far as I can see I should be able to connect having iOS 13.6. Is there some way someone can contact me regarding this issue or confirm if my device is infact even compatible with iOS?

Rarely syncs. The app only syncs with the phone about 10% of the time, except for steps which is almost always up to date. Unfortunately, I am more interested in the heart rate, stress and sleep features, and these almost never sync. When I try to refresh the app by pulling down, it says “no wearable devices connected”, despite the steps being up to date. I regularly have to restart both phone and watch and then open Galaxy Watch up followed by Health app to get them to sync but even this does not always work and is a very frustrating solution. I am mostly happy with the watch itself but the fact it will not sync with my phone via this app is extremely annoying.

Samsung Watch 4 doesn’t connect with Apple Phone and this app doesn’t either.. My Samsung 4 watch doesn’t connect at all to my current Apple phone or this app. It’s unfortunate, models 1-3 would have. (Ps I had a Samsung phone that died and was given a friend’s spare Apple as a stop gap)

Not compatible with Gear S3 and Tizen 3.0.0.2. Check out all of the negative feedback in the Samsung Community. The recent update has killed the S3 by reducing battery life from days to less than 1 day. Samsung are ignoring consumers and not acknowledging or addressing the problem. My Samsung Gear is less than 3 days old and getting 14 hours of battery life on a full charge when they advertise 3 to 4 days. No it’s not just me. Check the Community and you will see its a global problem. WAKE UP SAMSUNG AND FIX THE PROBLEM!

IOS problems. Simple things like the scale for pulse rate on the exercise graphs is out of sync. Should be a simple SW fix but after a year nothing has been done? Since iOS 13 update the watch no longer stays connected and needs resetting every day Although the app still loses its connection I have since found that forgetting the device in Bluetooth setup and turning the watch Bluetooth off and shutting it down. Before starting reset the iPhone Bluetooth then starting up the watch and turn its Bluetooth on gets the pairing done again. This works now most times, not great but at least I rarely lose data although I now do regular syncs as well.

This app may be one of the reasons why the gear is not the popular. There is fair bit of room for improvement in almost every aspect of the app. The app is quite buggy and does not even do a fair job when it comes to the following 1. Syncing old data even from day before 2. Data backup and restore 3. Challenges data upload 4. Import data is not available 5. The support you get is absurd and very user unfriendly It is hard to list any great aspects of the app given that that in the current market the offerings have created expectations which “qualify” apps to be considered for usage. In summary the framework is good but a lot needs to be done in terms of testing prior to introducing new features

Why have features changed?. Why doesn’t this app talk to you when you do each kilometre? It used to say how far you have travelled, time, how far to go and keep up you are nearly there.

It’s everything. Even though I switched to IPhone this app is everything. It’s so complete and it has everything to take care of myself. Highly recommended

Desperately in need of an update!. App is slow, choppy even on the latest iPhone 13 pro. The Samsung really needs to fix the bugs since the last update was 11 months ago! What kind of big tech company that doesn’t update their apps for nearly a year?

Great Watch poor software. Watch quality is amazing and is an excellent product however the software is nowhere near good enough. Other providers and their links to key apps is far superior than the software I must use on my phone

Love this app. It keeps me going, more reliable than other apps that I have used.

Cant see number of calories burned daily. I am using Samsung galaxy active 2 along with iOS 14 and its very disappointing that I cant find numbers of calories burned daily, I only see calories burned for activities which is not enough, is there any resolution for this issue? Under be more active tile I can see calories burned for activity but not its bot the whole daily calories burned for the day including active and not active calories.

Sleep data sync. All my other data syncs very easily however I have only managed to sync my sleep data twice (2 nights) in over a month. When I enquired at the pop up shop regarding some assistance, the woman there rolled her eyes and said “Well it’s obviously an IOS issue” as if to say “der!”

App doesn’t Sync. I’ve attempted to sync the app particularly to use the sleep tracker but it doesn’t sync and I can’t even find proper instructions anywhere how to sync the Gearfit2 to the app. It just offers to add sleep manually which is useless anyway. On the gearfit it tells me I’m lightly sleeping even when I’ve been walking around in the middle of the night so it’s not accurate at all, it should show that I’m awake.

Needs another widget. The app works well but is missing the activity widget to get total calories burnt, is it possible to have this added? I had this when I used the watch on my old Samsung.

Samsung health app not compatible with Samsung Galaxy Watch ??. So I just spent $550 on this watch, it records amazing data, my heart rate, my sleep, my steps etc, it’s all graphed on the watch......yet It is NOT compatible with the Samsung health app?? How can this be? If you make a watch that has these amazing features, surely you can supply an app so data can be transferred and analysed? So disappointed in the app.

Downloading data is a not working. A long time ago I bought the original Samsung fitness band and it died soon after its warranty ran out. I downloaded the new app to extract the data hopping to add it to newer data. It seemed to go really well until I tried to unzip the file it generated. At that point a password was required but my Samsung password didn’t work and I had not been given or asked to create another.

New update doesn’t work. Crashes when opening heart rate data and can no longer review previous days data. Only current day shows up anywhere. Previous version worked fine for over a year which no update

Great update!. The latest update for this app was great, thanks for including HR under the metrics when you have a Gear Fit 2 Pro connected. I'm looking at this app more than I look at my Apple Health app (because I want to buy a Gear Fit 2 Pro at some stage). Is there any chance you guys could add in stress and floors climbed into the metrics? And SPO2? Unless that's not possible due to the limitations of the iPhone (since it doesn't have a red light sensor like your phones do). Anyway, thanks for working on this app for iPhone users, it is much appreciated!!! Update: Thanks for sending me an email Samsung! The iPhone has a built in barometer, so that's why I wondered if you could build in floor tracking but it's good to know that it will work if you connect a Gear Fit 2 Pro. Thanks for following up on the stress and SPO2 measurements, there are apps that use the flash and camera to calculate heart rate on iPhone but I'm unsure if you need a special red light sensor like the one on Samsung phones to measure SPO2. Once again thanks for looking out for us iPhone folk, some of us are definitely intrigued by your wearables lineup!

Syncing with IPhone. The App is super easy to use. My major issue is that I can’t sync this app to my apple health data which was the main reason for me choosing this watch. I am also not able to edit my friend list ( for instant deleting an individual out of my friend list).

Come a long way. This app is great but sometimes has syncing issues, such as if you don’t sync your watch for 2 weeks and but can see see all steps on watch Samsung health internally. It won’t sync to the Samsung health app on your phone.

Good potential but doesn’t sync. Apps has great potential to be a one stop shop however the galaxy watch loses connection randomly and then I keep getting the “no wearable devices connected” error. Reinstalled, reconnected and restarted did the typical workarounds and after initially connecting again, then the same error happens. Please fix ASAP. Also would be great if this could integrate sleep and step, and calories data with map my fitness apps

Rubbish app for a great fitness band. The Samsung health app for IOS is a joke. The app is simply so Samsung can claim IOS compatibility. In reality this app does not work It does not update from gear fit 2 pro. Most of the time the data does not sync and even when it works it never syncs the heart rate. Why is there 2 apps for something so simple. Never buy a Samsung fitnesses product if you have IOS. It just doesn’t work and none of the information integrates with Apple health. I have a $30 Huawei fitnesses band and it works much better in terms of reliability and Apple integration.

Women’s health. I really love this app ! Nothing bad to say, but I can’t seem to find the women’s health to keep track of menstrual cycles ?!

App doesn’t crash anymore. Thank you for responding. The problem I had before has been resolved and the app has been running well for a while now. I use this app daily and it works great. I noticed The Samsung version of this app has much more features and it would be nice if they could implement the same features into the iOS version.

Lacking features. Wish all the features available within this app on a Samsung device also existed on an iPhone device. Disappointed to see the lack of Samsung Health features on the iPhone: no heartbeat monitor, oxygen monitor, map & photo add-ins while hiking, running, etc, no women’s health monitors, etc.

Need help. Love Samsung health one of the beat app to keep you in shape. I have been a Samsung fan for years. I really love this iOS edition of this software. I have one glitch under the together tap that needs to get fixed. There is a message that says I am close to become aAchiever, but the message won’t go away. It would be helpful if they could make a update for it. Thank you so much Samsung for letting this health app not only on your device, but all devices. You guys have made this app truly versatile on all platforms. Love adding my friends and being able to challenge them and get badges. I am truly addicted and I have also just bought a galaxy fit 2 watch. I can’t wait until it arrives.

All features are gone. This app used to be a useful app. Now all features are gone.

Can’t earn badges on an iPhone. I used Samsung Health for years on a Samsung and loved it. But now on an iPhone so much functionality is gone, for example I don’t get badges even though I earned them.

Needs more info. Nice UU but lacks a lot of health info that is on watch. Come on Samsung. You can do it. It’s too basic IMO.

Keeps on saying that there is no SIM card. It keeps saying that there is no sim card

ECG - oxygen sensors. Question : I own a Samsung3 watch: is there any limitations for using the oxygen sensors/ stress/ecg in Canada?

Galaxy watch active compatibility?. Is the app compatible only with the 2nd gen? Or is it compatible with the 1st generation galaxy watch active as well? Thanks!

I cannot log in.. It tells me my Samsung account it linked to my google account and to log in through google but it doesn’t give me an option to do that. Since I’m on iPhone it doesn’t connect automatically.

fitness goals!. Absolutely one of the best fitness apps around!

Love this app but I wish it had a few more things. I love this app! It works so great with my Samsung watch. However, I wish there was the same features as the Samsung health on Samsung phones. In this app my husband had the option for women’s health tracking, but that’s not on the iOS version. I have a separate app for tracking this for now, but it would be great if I could have everything all in one app. Also, I’m really upset about the 1:1 challenges being gone. My friends with Samsung phones have a new version of this, when will that come to this iOS as well? After all the challenges worked before. I’d love to be able to create my own challenges again.

Good app. I love how it syncs to my Galaxy Fit e

Vedder walk. 16000 steps.

Apple block GPS for this app. Seems like Apple blocks the GPS traking for this one. Always when running do not save the route. It's a mess. Changing to strava

Damn. Closet fatty no more - fatty in numerical order now . Issa best 👁👄👁

Love it. I have an iPhone and my bf has Samsung we both love this app but only down fall we can’t complete because I have the iPhone.. the other thing is it don’t always count your steps on the map groups

Crashing. Since the mew IOS 14 update the app keeps closing and every time it closes I loose the data from the current workout. Very frustrating.

Sync issue. I love the app with an GearS3. But, Samsung health didn’t sync anymore with the watch. Surprisingly, Galaxy Watch connect and sync perfectly. Please help!

Dark mode. Is there dark mode if using on IPhone?

Can’t sync with IPhone. Please fix this if it’s a bug, and offer support to resolve the issue so I can use my beautiful watch as a sleep, heart rate, activity, and lifestyle tracker — as was its intended purpose. I have a super smart watch that works great but I can only track my activity IN THE MOMENT which is useless. Please fix this if it’s a bug, and offer support to resolve the issue so I can use my beautiful watch as a sleep, heart rate, activity, and lifestyle tracker — as was its intended purpose. It’s not a tracker if it CANT TRACK. Sucks to ‘hope’ it gets fixed and have NO support to solve the problem: I don’t know why, but after a few years of really living my watch and the app, I linked my watch to a new phone (had iPhone 8, now using SE2) and the watch connects to the ‘watch’ app, but not the health app. It sucks. Spent 3 or 4 hours texting with tech support while they researched the problem. Their response: hopefully they (Samsung; even tech support called ‘they’) fix it soon. She didn’t even offer to report it to anyone. So that was not helpful.

Group challenges. Why aren’t group challenges a thing

Nice to know how many steps .. Finally having an idea o how many steps I make in one day. Gives me a little insight a goal to strive for.

Great app but doesn’t sync steps to apple health. I have a watch 3. Samsung health shows steps tracked but those steps don’t sync with apple health even though it’s enabled. What’s odd is the workouts are syncing between the 2 apps

Pale version of the Samsung app. I just switched to an iPhone for work purposes and the iOS version of the app is not as nice. I am definitely missing the calorie balance piece showing in one spot my calories burned versus intake. Other features like Glow are gone too.

Sync issues. Very rarely syncs information from my watch to the app and when it does the data is inaccurate.

Getting better. I use the app on my iPhone. Initially the phone would have real problems reconnecting to my Samsung watch via wifi. This has greatly improved since the last software update. I have a problem with how the app adds the steps walked from the watch and adds it to the steps walked with the phone. You can view phone only steps but not watch only. Yes, believe it or not, I wear my watch more than I carry my phone!

Best health app. Join in, add family members or friends, then go ahead and compete for step count or other! It will make you workout harder

Why does this app require a SIM card???. This is installed on a kids phone without a SiM. App design requires a SIM card.

better than apple health. i used the samsung health app on my S10 to track my biking and stuff. apple health doesn’t have that feature unless if you purchase an apple watch first. well, this app carried over all my data from my s10 as well, and it does everything that apple health does, so hey, good stuff!

Great app must have for all your fitness tracking. I like it so much I use instead of the Apple health app on my iPhone. The activities tracking and challenges are very useful. 5 stars earned!

Great app! A few issues.... I purchased a Samsung Galaxy Fit watch a year ago, and I immediately downloaded this app. For the most part it has worked excellently for me, and I had no problems whatsoever. But I did have some problems, some of which defied the purpose of the app: -There was a two-month period where the app didn’t track my heart rate at all. I have a huge gap in my tracking, and since this is the only way to keep my heart rate readings without writing them down, I found this especially annoying. It works now, but every now and again I will have a gap of a few days in my graph. -You need a SIM Card to use the app. For a while my phone didn’t have a SIM Card, so I had to use the app on a device that wasn’t mine. -I’m slightly confused about a certain feature. Stress tracking is something that is shown on the website for my watch, and in pictures of Samsung Health, but I don’t seem to have it. Is this because I am an IOS user? -How come you can’t be below the age of thirteen to use this app? I noticed this a while back and it seems strange to me. There are kids who have Samsung products and who would happily use this app if they could put In their proper age. All in all, great app. I would suggest it for anyone who wants to use it. Just a few problems. Thank you!

Love but missing. Love this app so much. I even downloaded on my iPhone. But will the catalog of food be updated anytime soon?

Not impressed. The app is slow to update and constantly errors. Coming from a Fitbit, I am extremely disappointed with the device and the app. Do not recommend to anyone.

Running trainer. Please add coached running for iphone. PLEASE….

Not working with ios 15.1. Ever since updating to ios 15.1 the Fit E connects to my iphone 8 plus, but none of the data downloads on to the phone. Ised to work consistently but limited benefits before the update. Samsung Fit pairs and connects just fine since iOS 15, but samsung health does not connect and does not download any info. Also, if Samsung fit is open and connected, opening Samsung health just kills the connection from it also.

Samsung health is kicking my year into gear. I have been struggling with my weight for a lot of years and I’ve been in a plateau and not losing for so long and I remembered that I had use the Samsung Health app when I used to have a Samsung phone but I looked it up and I don’t have a Samsung phone anymore but I thought I would see if it would work on my iPhone and it does and it has helped me I’m already losing weight and every day I work so hard to exercise and get a balanced nutrient meal. This app rocks

Great app. Great app to keep you motivated and focused about keeping healthy

App doesn’t work on iOS14.4.1. I can’t set 1:1 challenges on this app.this app doesn’t support this os

Glitchy on iOS. Doesn’t even work anymore keep getting something went wrong and nothing terrible on iOS

App has limited functionality. This app has limited functionality on iPhone

Can’t connect to samsung health together challenges. Can’t connect to samsung health together challenges with friends. iPhone limitation?

Fabulous app!. Great way to track all the exercise you do!

No paddle Boarding or kayaking. Would be great if they could add some other sports such as paddle boarding. Also would be nice to be able to customize more. E.g. only biking and walking have the gps option. But would be nice to have it for paddle board

It’s so good. Excellent

Sim card required?!??. Please make a way to use wifi and find your location not sim card or ask for location

The app will not work without a SIM card. I bought a galaxy fit 2 and the galaxy fit app works perfectly fine but this app will not even go past a pop up saying you have to have a SIM card in order to use the app. I don’t get why you would need a SIM card. I’m only in grade 8 I can’t afford a SIM card.

Does not pair with fit e. Does not pair with fit e

Just the perfect amount of motivation!. Alone or with other fitness apps…it gives the desired result!

No Galaxy watch support? What gives?. I originally hate a Note so I purchased a Galaxy watch to track all my activity. I recently was given an iPhone that I’m required to use for work, and thought no big deal I’ll download Samsung health on the iPhone and keep going with everything, but after a day or struggling with sync problems I find out the original Galaxy Watch (46mm/WiFi and cellular) aren’t supported with the iOS app?? But the version 2 of the Galaxy watch is? Really poor performance IMO. I love my Galaxy watch WAY better than the iWatch models I’ve seen and the things they can do, but it’s useless to me if I can’t use it as a tracker.

I’m happy with the app, but..... Over the past week, whenever I do my steps for the day, they aren’t being counted, so I have to delete the app, and then I can see all the steps I’ve done. I’m using this app on my iPhone X, but I’ve also used it on my Samsung S9+ and this is the first time I’ve ever encountered this issue. I really hope this gets resolved soon, because I really do enjoy using this app for my diet/exercise goals.

Missing Fitbit. Decided to try out the Samsung Galaxy Active watch versus getting another Fitbit due to more app availability with the Active watch. Have to say the only reason I want to return it is because of this app. Unlike Fitbit, I cannot see calories burned and trying to input your meals for calorie tracking is atrocious. Not being able to scan labels of food makes it painful to try track calories and nutritional intake. The Active watch isn’t supported by any other calorie tracking apps so therefore this is my only option. I will be returning the watch and going back to Fitbit because of these issues. Not very user friendly for iPhone users.

Error no wearable device connected. Getting error no wearable device connected. Couple of times reset Samsung watch but no help. Can you please help? I have follow the steps as suggested but still not syncing the data Tried all 3 steps but no success. When I paired with another iPhone, data sync first time on Samsung health and it stops working again and getting same message no wearable device connected. Issue started after upgrade the Samsung health to latest version from App Store Firmware update is up to date 4.0.0.3. I have updated the Samsung health app to newer version that just launched but still not working Tried all the steps but it’s same result. Anyway Thank you for the help. No of them steps help

Favorite Health App. I use this app to check how many carbs I’m eating as well as how much I’ve walked! It’s really easy to look up exactly what kind of food you’ve eaten and to set how many calories you want to eat, and tracking the number of carbs, if you’re doing a low carb diet or keto, is super easy! And guess what? This app is free. I recommend this over the default Apple health app or any other health app that requires you to pay and does not nearly have as many features as this one.

Does not sync. I couldn’t find ANY reliable way to sync data from my Galaxy Active Watch to this app. It syncs 5% of the time at random days. Having used it for two months - sync never improved! Update: Samsung tells to run both Galaxy Watch and Samsung Health apps on the iPhone in the background. No. It does not help. Update2: I restarted both devices and quit all apps. 1) WiFi is set to Auto on Watch 2) Ran Samsung Watch app, waited for battery display 3) Opened Samsung Health app - nothing gets updated 4) Waited for 5 hours and it finally updated 5) On the next day it updated only at 7pm (the apps running on the background 100% time, iPhone always on and close to watch, Bluetooth on) 6) After that it does sync but you never know when you see your data. It can be morning, day or evening or even next day. Sleep data is even more unpredictable Update3: Samsung recommended to restart both devices and restart Bluetooth. No, it doesn't help. I get an error “No wearable devices connected” all the time.

Challenges with friends. I just got a Samsung Active 2 today, and the main reason my girlfriend and I got them was to have challenges between each other and our family members. However, that isn’t available to us yet. The 1:1 challenge isn’t working, and we can’t do group challenges yet either. I would love to increase the rating for this app, but I can’t do that until the challenges part of this app is fixed and working.

Lacks integration with everything. Lacks integration with any other application. Badly laid out. Poorly designed. No web sit to present information in friendly easy to use fashion. Information on screen is not well thought out and does not give you much insight, hard to navigate. Now that I have had it a while it also refuses to sync with my galaxie watch. For a while turning on and off Bluetooth worked to fore it to sync. Then that stopped working so uninstalling and reinstalling worked now even that does not work. The galaxy watch app syncs but not the health app. This is truly a piece of garbage. Do not buy the watch if you have an iPhone. Just don’t do it.

Ugh. I was excited after I received the Gear Fit 2 for Christmas and even more excited to download the app. Ive used "my fitness pal" for a couple of years and loved it. When my husband said all my data could be on one app I was ecstatic. Well, after a few weeks of dealing with the food diary I'm ready to get back to my fitness pal. I'm no developer, but this app has so many bugs, Its easy to say I'm not in love. I keep having to re-enter my preferences, data, food, etc. It's very frustrating. The food entry especially --- the least user friendly part--- is what I use the most. 2 thumbs down.

Tracking Bike Riding. I usually ride my bike and love tracking it, I found that coming to traffic light or stop sign is a problem since the device does restarts by itself when moving again. Would be great if the feature can be improved. I also do the exercise bike but it doesn’t track mileage, only the time, this definitely needs to improvement, otherwise I love the application.

Loving the app!!. I would give it 10+ stars if you would include the generic upper body, lower body, or leg day - chest day workout tracking option. This may be a watch feature function but I prefer the UI of the under Armour app/device where you can press 1 button and get your upper body workout ( for example) or you can get granular and track your specific/targeted exercise ( leg press, squats, extensions, etc. ) otherwise, keep up the good work!

Not a marvel of programming skill.. Works. Kind of. Really, I can’t vouch for the programming skill of the developers. The basic features work at a mediocre level. But whenever I do a challenge with my wife (who has a Samsung phone) she wins regardless. I will reach the goal hours or even days before her. But it doesn’t acknowledge that I have reached it. The app keeps telling me to “Keep it up! The challenge is almost over!” But then as soon as my wife reaches the goal, it says I lost. Someone really needs to do some work to fix this. There are other similar problems that make you wonder what was going on when the developers made this app.

Crashes too much / lacks integration. This app has great features that I like to use like sleep monitoring, BP monitoring, food intake tracking, etc, but it constantly crashes. Within two minutes of use, it crashes every time. Needs stability. My second concern is that I have other health apps I have been using for a while such as MapMyRun, MyFitnessPal, UA, Apple health, don’t link up with this app. I wish this app would link up with them and my BP app so I could track everything in one place. Overall, this app offers great features, but needs stability and wider integration.

Needs improvement. The app does well tracking steps, and activity. It would be nice to have a barcode scanner for logging food and a weight management option for the iOS version. I contacted Samsung support about the weight management feature, and they could not give me a clear answer as to if it was available for Apple users ( I found out that it wasn’t available by doing some research). Other than those features I’m enjoying the app.

Needs work.. Are you going to do anything about data integrity? Why do I keep seeing a different BP range on watch than I do in app? Why does it drop hours worth of data if I don’t babysit the syncing process? Why can’t the weekly reports even include my NAME in it rather than _________’s Weekly Summary? How about the watch dying in under 8 hours if I leave the Bluetooth connection on (using it as a smart watch instead of a regular watch?) Bluetooth off yields like a week of battery life. What is going on here? What about phantom alarms that just go off at 4 am and there is no way to delete them? I want the watch to work, and I want the phone app to work, and I don’t want to have to “reset the watch” or “reinstall the app” because my expectation is for the thing to actually work. As a watch—as a fitness and sleep tracker—not as a $250 wrist-mounted dead battery. I cannot rely on this. What is the point of a broken watch? I have the latest firmware.

Need more..... This app could be so much more. Unfortunately, I had a Samsung S7 and my phone messed up luckily I had my work phone and was able to retrieve my stats. The only problem is my work phone is an iPhone so it doesn’t have all the features that if I had my Samsung phone. Apps should be universal period. Also it like to disconnect from the Samsung Wearable app, but at least that’s easy to reconnect. I would also like more to do with the Together and Community section. Need more daily challenges and rewards instead of things that are useless and meaningless.

More changes no progress. Was hoping when I read there were 3 new features 1 of them would be something useful. None of them did me anything sadly. Still no integration with healthkit or activity on the iPhone so while you can use the app without an account there is REALLY nowhere now the data will sit or can be used. This app is pretty basic but I suspect is Samsung integrated with Healthkit the overall rating of this app would jump significantly. I could also not get my watch to sync with the new app without rebooting the watch and phone. It syncs now but it terribly slow to do it and shows may fewer steps than the watch for some reason. Go figure, no iPhone integration AND less steps.

iPhone app to Active 2 watch connection issues. Got this app to use in conjunction with my Samsung Galaxy Active 2 watch. Love the watch, but the app connectivity is terrible.... I figured it might be difficult with an iPhone, and it really is. The app takes forever to load and is still never an accurate representation of steps, mileage, etc. as shown on the watch. Disappointed. Updated - app does update to the correct miles, steps, etc. now, but I typically need to restart the watch, Galaxy watch app or Samsung health app, or all three, to get this to happen. But then it’s accurate!

So angry. I got a new iPhone yesterday. I’m in the process of moving everything from my old galaxy to my iPhone. Samsung health had deleted over 60k steps and took away one of my stars that I EARNED. I am so angry and disappointed with Samsung Health. I was forced to either keep a phone that is broken, swap to another carrier, or take the one phone in my budget that was available to me from my carrier. I guess I should have stayed with a broken phone.

Really want to like this.. I really am enjoying the capabilities of mixing two platforms. It’s great to have this option. That being said.... I am not getting any of the wonderful data from my Samsung fit to sync with Samsung health. The only thing that is syncing is the heart rate. The sleep tracking that I see on my fit face will not sync over and the step counts are way off even though I have just to pull from my fit. Any ideas here? I have made sure of all of the proper settings are highlighted, I’m thinking there is just a flaw in the syncing.

Great app, but unstable on iPhone.. I’ve been Samsung Galaxy user for the last 7 years. Since then I’ve been using the S-health app and recorded all my workouts. Last month I switched over to the iPhone and was glad that this app was supported on this platform. I was able to sync my previous data and be able to continue using this app. It works great except for the following two issues: 1) the app periodically crashes in the middle of my running workout. It’s frustrating because the data is lost when it crashes and then you’ve to manually enter this data. 2) there is no voice prompt during the workout like it used to be on the Galaxy phone. It helps as the numbers like distance, duration are being prompted while you’re in the workout. Other than that, I love using this app as it allows me to download my personal data and analyze the way I want.

Need Help. I am attempting to connect with a challenge that one of my friends created. I am not able to connect to the challenge nor am I able to connect to any of my friends. It seems as though I have a different version of the app. At the bottom of my app it says me, together and more where the app that my friends are using says home, together, fitness. Can you please tell me why I have a different app? I am using an IPhone.

Works OK - calorie calculations are off. Two issues: 1: The app calculates calories burned differently when it auto detects a workout, versus when you manually start recording the workout or enter the data yourself. Hard to tell which is correct. 2: The best feature they had was the calorie deficit calculator and they removed it over a year ago and have not brought it back despite a lot of negative feedback about the change.

Convenient Fitness/Health App. I switched from a Galaxy to an iPhone and was pretty worried about not having Samsung Health for my exercise and diet tracking. Fortunately, it is available for the iPhone and I couldn’t be happier. It’s a very easy to use app for tracking exercise and nutrition intake because it has so many different exercise options and has a huge database of different foods already available. All in all, I can’t recommend it enough.

Syncing from watch to phone a no go. The app works fine on my watch. I do wish it showed splits for my runs. But the HUGE bummer for me is that it doesn’t sync to this app on my iPhone. It says that it’s synced when I hit the sync now button, but the date is from a month ago, and nothing shows up. I’d keep using the MapMyRun app, but it often stops working on my watch. Someday maybe you app folks will figure this out. For now I have to transfer all my S Health data from my watch to my MapMyRun app on my phone so I can see my history and share with friend on social.

Wont connect to device. After working perfectly for a year my Samsung Active watch no longer syncs with the Samsung Health App -no amount of scanning for accessories after multiple force pairing efforts have made this work. Please note I have no problem connecting to the Samsung Galaxy Watch app -it is paired, connected, i can find my watch, i receive my phone alerts. But i cant sync my data to the Samsung Health App as it no longer connects. So my watch after a year is just a notification mechanism -no way to store my metrics, workouts, goals etc because it doesnt work with Samsung Health app anymore. What a waste of money.

Good tracker, good motivator. Pretty neat. It tracks my activity, my sleep and my meals and weight. It doesn’t coach you in any way. My first day using it I installed the c25k app and went for a run. It was kind of rewarding to see the heart filled in and getting badges for different things like a badge for getting a good nights rest. Entering food was easy it has a huge database. Works with my iPhone.

Inaccurate step counting.. I recently moved from my old Samsung Galaxy with its handy feature of being able to pause the steps to an IPhone 13 which doesn’t have any way to pause my steps so it’s been incredibly inaccurate for the past few days which is very disappointing. I’m starting to think that I should turn my phone on and off before and after I get out of a car, but that’s very inconvenient.

Go360. I thought updates were supposed to make a product better. Not so with Samsung products. Since the update in November Samsung Gear Fit 2 will no longer pair with Humana Go360. When I called Samsung they said to wait for the next update and MAYBE it would take care of the issue / they were well aware of the issue - had no idea when next update would be or if it would fix this issue- they said if not they recommended buying a different tracker. I will definitely be buying Apple products from now on. Samsung products are a total waste of money. I gave 1 star because I had to in order to post.

Problems syncing. It was painful to sync this up. I couldn’t understand why I had no problem syncing with the Gear App but couldn’t sync to health app. After numerous let deleting and reinstalling and resetting devices I finally came across the setting where I could update the watch. Advice to app developers, if ppl try to scan for device and it comes up with no devices found, maybe add the prompt, make sure your device is up to date and try again.

Amazing Product. I am using the fit 2 band. It is the best investment. Less than 50$ and it is packed a lot of functionality. The app helps in knowing yourself better. And it is helpful in knowing what you do in a day and how it affects your body. Sleep tracking, Heart rate tracking are just a few functions. Along with waterproofing, it is the best product you can have.

iOS/Samsung Health app issue. I’m using the frontier s3 Watch with an iPhone XS. I chose the Samsung watch over the Apple Watch because I like the looks and functionality of it better then the Apple Watch. Only issue is I downloaded Samsung health on my iPhone and I cannot sync my bike rides from Samsung health to my Strava account. I tried the settings option with Samsung health and there is no “connected services” option on my app with iPhone to enable the sync. Is this an iOS/Samsung compatibility issue? Please help!! And what can I do different?

Does not play well with iOS. Could not get the app to pair correctly with Galaxy Watch. It would not sync ANY data from my watch. I called tech support and after the second time they made me default all the settings (deleting all my saved passwords and payment info in the process) on my phone they never called me back. Terrible troubleshooting practices and worse service. I ended up ordering an Apple Watch which I didn’t want in the first place but it is the only option for compatibility’s sake. Shame because I liked the Galaxy Watch.

Nightmare. Hands down the worst app that I have used for a while. The terrible thing is that I still have to keep it because this is the only portal to store your fitness info from my gear s3. First, the app does not store my fitness history properly. It deletes my previous record once a while, making my motivation target of being physical active for a long stretch of days impossible. Second, it does not sync with the watch seamlessly. You have to drag down in the app to activate the sync and wait a long period for sync to complete. Third, the app is not responsive and intuitive. I guess this app is just built to show Samsung’s distaste and hostility towards iPhone users.

Which phone You have.... I do love it! But had a galaxy phone first with it and it worked Great!! Now I have it on a IPhone and doesn’t work as good, But I still enjoy it over all the other apps.... Now if the watch would work with Google I would Absolutely Love it on any phone!! That’s why 4 stars depends on what phone you have it synced too, if you have the galaxy watch.

Worked well with my Samsung not my Iphone. Use to work well but on my iPhone even though it’s connected through the Bluetooth and I get all my notifications this app can’t sync with my watch no matter what I’ve tried so far. Which is reinstalling the app, new connection on watch, factory reset, also sometimes I can answer my calls and talk on my watch sometimes it will automatically say check phone and it won’t let me use the watch unless it’s to hang up the call on my phone. ???? Help

Good Fitness App. As a FitBit user for over 5 years, and using the FitBit app, I am quite pleased with this app in conjunction with my Galaxy 43 mm watch, for the last week, I’m pleased with the app. Still learning it, I do wish it had a Workout mode to just time my workout, however I’ve adapted to just adding each exercise I do, arm curls, stretching, crunches etc, which times each exercise, one at a time. It’s working good.

Laggy and freezes. App has been extremely slow and glitchy lately. It’s been a year since the last update… might switch back to Fitbit until the problem is fixed. I really love how customizable my galaxy watch is and how I can see my health metrics so fast but sometimes I just want to sync it to my phone quickly and instead I’m stuck waiting while the app lags and the screen bounces or the app freezes. It’s just a little frustrating.

Good app. Thanks Samsung! Graphs galore!. Good app. Tracks steps automatically. No manually entry needed, but it’s allowed. For the rest it’s manual fir me or at least the START function is manual((with my Apple Watch integration)) I wanted to track my weight manually my steps automatically and my water intake manually. It does all this. With GRAPHS! So this is perfect god that. It’s FREE which is great! I have bought enough Samsung products to warrant a free app is say! I’m a Mac user but I still have Samsung TVs and Samsung chrome books! Anyway good app! There’s a place to enter whatever you want to track from sleep to curls to yoga probably. And it does steps automatically. Thanks Samsung!

Experience limited by removal of data transfer to Health app. I recently picked up a Gear Sport and was pleased to discover that quite a bit of the functionally works with iOS while using this App. However upon learning that none of the data this app captures gets shared/transferred to the Health app (something multiple users online said it USED to do, at least with steps) I feel like this greatly limits the long term use of this app, and honestly is pushing me to picking up a Apple Watch at some point. Shame. Bring back the data transferring to the Health app Samsung.

Cannot get app to work. Got a new Gear Fit2 Pro for Christmas. Band works fine itself. I downloaded and installed both the Gear Fit and Samsung Health apps (1st band I have ever seen that requires two apps to work by the way). I registered at Samsung Health online. I connected everything -> launch of Gear app, clicks to Samsung Health, which shows it’s tied to my ID. Samsung Health even acknowledges it has gotten bpm/heart and sleep data in the app from the band, but displays none of that. Also cannot set Goals (at all; it won’t click past Done), and despite settings showing preference for US scale, Weight screen to add a measure is Metric. Very disappointing

Don’t bother .... Don’t bother unless you enjoy imputing data and having the buggy app erase all the data... only to install it again and have the data erased again ... again .. Update to above first review... I decided to try the app again... it still failed consistently... with me having to login in every time and starting all the settings again. It did that four times... since Samsung is not capable of having a viable app for their wearables...it’s time to throw this away and buy an Apple smartwatch... I have an iPhone and should have done that to begin with. The apple app at least works and functional.

I don’t know why people complain about this app.. This app gives everything you need to become healthier. Most of the problems are people not knowing how to use the app. It also has a great map to tell you where and what’s around you. But I am curious if the amount of calories it says you lost is accurate or almost accurate and how does the app calculate how much calories you lost?

Lacking ability to Sync app workout data with Watch. It’s o good app so far, has quite a good mix of activities and telemetry data but it lacks backward integration with watch to harmonize data. Sometimes I can leave the phone else where and when I come back the phone needs to be updated with the additional data. Other times I forget to wear the watch and in the case the phone should synch say back to the watch. The two always need to synch data as this is common sense.

Doesn’t sync or register sleep on my iPhone. So I used this when I had my Galaxy Note9. But due to to many phone issues I got the iPhone XR. I was happy to find this app was available and that I could use my watch. Now I understand that my Samsung gear fit2 pro will not have everything that my galaxy had available to it, but I’ve seen others track sleep. My iPhone doesn’t register that I get sleep and have to enter all manually which isn’t accurate since I don’t know when I fall asleep. :( otherwise I’m happy with it.

Love my Fit but no step Health data.... Help page doesn’t provide instructions how to move the step data from your app to Apple Health data. Your app only reads Apple Health data but doesn’t write it. I’m using Withings scale and BP but would rather use Galaxy product for step tracking but it doesn’t seem to write step data to Health app. Please update app to provide it or tell us how to do this otherwise I’ll have to drop your fit product and move to Withings fitness tracking watch.

Swimming distance is calculated incorrectly. I really enjoy the Samsung app and think it would be PERFECT if they would fix the distance calculator. I input my data by hand because I have the Garmin 910 and don’t want to put my Samsung galaxy watch in the pool. My issue with this app is if I’m in a 25yard pool and swim 202 lengths that would equal 5050 yards or 2.869 miles however the app calculates that as 404 yards. Lengths need to be multiplied by the distance (25m/25y/50m) of the pool not by 2 to properly calculate your total distance swam. I like to swim and would enjoy actually using this app to share on fb and with my viewers online but with the incorrect data it’s just not worth it until it’s fixed.

Can't sync. Latest version won't sync with Gear S3 using iphone X. Reinstalling the app plus restarting bith watch and iPhone didn't help. As a response to the developer question. Nothing is being sync. I can only see the mobile step counter and the activity goal being sync but I assume the data is pulled from the mobile health app and not from the watch. Please do not suggest to reset and connect to a new phone because the last 2-3 weeks of data on the phone will be lost. Another thing I have noticed is that the battery live of the watch is decreasing probably because of repeating abd trying to sync

Helpful but limited. I liked this app enough to keep using it even after moving to an iPhone. One major limitation however is that it seems to only count walking towards your activity level "leaderboard." I bike three times a week for an hour each time, but because I may not take many steps, it implies I'm not very active. Very strange.

Needs improvements for iOS. I LOVED this app on my Samsung device. It is the best all around fitness and diet app that I have ever used. However, it’s proven to not be as useful on my Apple device. I’m sad because I can’t find anything else out there that has all the options but it isn’t tracking my steps and when I try to track a walk or run it isn’t mapping the distance correctly. I’m not sure if this an app problem or iOS problem but I use Road ID at the same time and it has no problem mapping correctly, it makes me think it’s an app problem. I’ll happily give more stars if this app starts to behave more like it did on the Samsung device.
