Amazing app but. It is such a beautiful app but there is one thing that could be added that would make it the best. The one thing I see is first, when adding commander damage, it automatically subtracts the health. Other then that, this feels and looks like the best tapper there is on the market

Best MtG Life Counter. This is by far the best MtG life counter. It covers Commander damage and everything else you would need to keep track of. Keep it up, y’all!!!

Poison counters. I love this app. Though, I wish there was a way to keep track of poison counters inside of the app.

Awesome. Counts commander damage separately, can be set up for 1-10 players and is really easy to use. The one 4 star review about price of custom playmats say it was 25$ but it’s only 5 now and for more of the apps mats it’s only 1. But you can just use colors or the standard mats for free and it’s just super easy and works really well.

I love it!!!. I played a few games with my dad and a few with my friends and it worked perfectly! Everybody loved it! I asked them all why they loved it so I could write this review easier, and the principal ideas that were most popular were 1. Being able to track two different commander damages at one time 2. Being able to track commander damage at all! That’s right, I haven’t found any app better at tracking commander damage! This app is AMAZING! It even gives you a tutorial! It is easy to use and you can even be able to change your theme! Thank you for the great app

Best UI to track commander damage. As of this writing, this has the best and most intuitive UI to keep track of commander damage. The life counter works great as well. It does not track other situations like poison or experience counters. However, after trying other apps that do track such things, all of the other apps I tried could not keep track of Commander damage well or had UI glitches. So, for now, this app wins.

Love this app. Love using this in my pod but wanted to ask when the iPad will get the update the phone has that tracks commander tax and poison amongst other things

Excellent UI. This is a great looking app. The UI is very intuitive and there are plenty of player seating arrangement options. Would love to be able to pay for more counter options (ex: poison counters).

Moxtopper is the quintessential life tracker app on iOS.. Jared is an absolute monster when it comes to a beautiful design, and very in depth app that really caters to the Magic player in all of us. Through recording separate commander damage from each player, to some pretty cool designs. Moxtopper really does take the top of all life trackers. Use code “Alara” for some really cool backgrounds! Can’t wait to see what else this app can do!

Damage tracking bug. Super slick app and my playgroup loves it. However, it has a critical and fundamental issue - if you have the option enabled to auto subtract life when applying commander damage, the actual commander damage reverts to zero in some unpredictable way. To be clear, we will swipe to assign commander damage. Add 4 points of damage using the controls for the attacking commander. Go back to the main screen and see the life total has been appropriately reduced. But then, at some later time, when applying damage from that same commander to that same player, the existing commander damage will read 0. This maybe isn’t a bug in the default mode where you need to subtract all damage from health and then also record how much of it was done by the commander. Not sure, because we haven’t used that mode. It’s a shame that we can use this really nice app for total health pool tracking but it is useless for tracking commander damage.

Best life counter I’ve used yet. Really impressed with the UI/UX. I really like the ability to track commander damage and also with partner commanders. The playmats are amazing.

More than a year later…. I still love this app! Reliable, legible, and very easy to use. My only gripe is that when you mark commander damage, it doesn’t deduct from your life total, so you have to do it twice.

Amazing and Simple. This app works perfectly for EDH. The ability to track commander damage is awesome. If there was a way to track poison this app would be the one stop shop.. hope that comes out soon

Best life tracking app for magic. I saw people using this app on a YouTube video and thought it looked pretty good but oh my. The app is so seemless to use and allows for easy tracking of not only your life total but also commander damage, poison, storm count, floating mana etc. After years of playing magic and going through multiple life tracking apps I can confidently say that this whoops all of them. They even have ways to allow for 5+ players not that I’m a fan of that many players however most apps don’t have that. It also lets you track commander damage if your opponents have partners. Amazing app!!!!

Best life tracking app. It's by far the best iOS app to track life for Magic The Gathering. Easy to understand, your opponents don't waste time looking for the plus or minus button since it's shown on screen. Also, the color palette is pleasing, there's a players disposition for pretty much any situation and you can keep track of a bunch of counters. It's a beautifully crafted app !

Best life tracking app by far for commander!. I really love this app, the UI/UX is seamless and makes tedious tasks like tracking commander damage straightforward. It has a lot of aesthetically pleasing elements like having themes, the animations when rolling to see who goes first, etc. Request: Please allow us to skip the tutorial in the beginning 🙏. I usually delete and reinstall the app whenever friends come by for commander night and it would save me five seconds each time 😅
