Just what the doctor ordered!. This app is amazing I am loving it! I was initially a little disappointed that it seemed not to have animated sheet music synced up with the metronome. But it does! Click the 🎵icon to right of the dynamic circle on the main screen. And voila!! This should be on by default IMO. Also, a great feature addition would be the option to retest an exercise from the high scores summary page! Good job y’all!

Does rudiments and does them really well. I have been drumming since I was a child and remember spending hours and hours practicing rudiments under the pressure of your classic ego tripping band teacher. Several decades later I am on the mend after a traumatic wrist injury that effectively limits all mobility in the left wrist — it’s locked. So I felt a huge loss of many things I wanted from life I could now no longer achieve or enjoy. One of them being drumming. Recently my physical therapist recommended I get a soft practice pad and re-learn from the basics, just to see if I could. Having rudiments drilled deep into the depths of my lizard brain I knew that was a good place to start. So I got a practice pad and I know the forms, but rudiment practice needs guidance and feedback. Then I found this app, and now I have a way to gauge my progress. I’m not only able to play some basic drums again, but now I can use drumming not as an excuse or pipe dream but as a therapeutic tool, allowing myself to heal doing something I love, and with this app, show proof of the progress. Not to mention getting the motor function back and seeing results on the app just feels darn good. So thanks devs! You’re giving me a part of my life back.

Best App I have found!. I’m new to drumming at the age of 54. I have always wanted to play, but as a kid from a big family my parents couldn’t afford it. I let me dream go until the beginning of 2020. I bought an electric kit and this app is helping me allot with time, rudiments and coordination along with speed. Something every drummer should have. I give it 5 stars.

A must have for any drummer!. This app is fantastic! The UI is pretty old looking but the functionality of the app is great. It has really helped me to improve my timing, consistency, and dynamics. It’s great to have real measurable numbers for these things. I haven’t seen anything like this and highly recommend for everyone.

Realty. I started out in the forties and after 2 hours in the 90’s. Whats interesting is I’m right handed my left was at 100 percent. Rushing with my right!

Still inconsistent at times. The results are randomly inconsistent. Yes, I understand that when playing a double stroke roll it must be locked in but when I can sit here and play all the timing exercises at 95 % or better, I do not have faith in this APP when it says my double stroke roll is at 1% accuracy at 100 bpm. I hope you find a way to fix this problem. Or - maybe the technology used in this APP isn’t quite ready for some of these rudiment exercises you claim are good to go. Please don’t come back with the same responses you’ve given others... otherwise, I like the concept. It scores one rudiment at 90% and the next 1%. It’s not the microphone.

How long must we wait?. You say ‘more rudiments coming soon’...I am disillusioned. I think I have waited long enough

Really useful app. I like it a lot. It’s a great tool. The only problem I have is that I can’t get the sound through my Bluetooth headphones. Hopefully that’s something they can update. Other than that I would have given it 5 stars.

PLEASE MAKE AVAILABLE FOR ANDROID. I’m currently using this for my students and I love everything about the app. Not all of my kids have iPhones though.... please make this available to androids as well!!!! I thinks it’s a fabulous tool that could benefit young devoting drummers immensely!!!

Add flam rudiments and sheet music on screen. I love this app and it has been very helpful with precision practice and hand control! Very well done. Only thing is that all the flam rudiments aren’t there and those rudiments would add a lot but overall very helpful. Also if you had a section that combined all the different types of paradiddles and double paradiddles into one whole exercise and allowed there to be the sheet music on the screen somehow that would be awesome as well and would automatically be a 5+star review. For people that can’t read music the left and right hand icons are perfect though. I feel if you need practice reading it would be perfect. Thank you guys for making this!

So far I’m pretty impressed. I don’t usually spend money on apps but the iDrumTune app caught my attention so I decided to get the package which included this ITP app. It’s definitely exceeded my expectations. It’s the most fun I’ve had using a metronome and it makes practice seem more organized and focused. The visual element and immediate feedback on my rudiment technique has made this my go-to drum app. The iDrumTune app is also worth checking out if you need help tuning, want to learn, or just interested in the physics involved with acoustic percussion. So far it’s 9/10

Could have been a great app. Definitely a fantastic metronome. But the fact that I cannot but an accent on beat one defeats the entire purpose for me. I looked online, and I looked at your “help manual” and it says I can supposedly do this. I set the BPM to 120, and did everything else it says I should do but to no avail. The click just changes tempo which I do not want. Fluke.

This is great. Hertas in an update coming? Haven’t totally figured out if I’m having latency, or I’m just bad. Either way this great

I’m hopeful, unable to utilize app. What I’ve used of it so far is a very high 5 0n the star ⭐️ meter hopefully it will be useful. With my rudiments practicing my double bass bpm seems to have it all . I’ll be and sure to keep update you on my progress with the app and beats per minute

Only 16th notes?. Okay so there are options to implement triplets, etc. but it only measures consistency and accuracy for 16th notes. I’ve tried triplets, fivlets, etc. and it all goes down hill... am I missing something on the app or is it actually a problem? I know I’m consistent on my hands but the app? Nah.

Things that need to added. It’s a great app it truly is amazing! It has helped me so much but there are somethings that Need to be added, there should be an option to have the timer longer then 30 seconds like really 30 seconds? But other then that it’s a really good app and I highly recommend this app

Drummer ITP. I absolutely love this app!!! I have been using it for the past few days and can already see a difference. I am still working on getting it dialed in but am thoroughly enjoying this using and practicing my pad work with this app. I can see that I will be spending a lot of time working on my rudiments and timing over the winter months! What a great investment for such a minimal price!!

Bluetooth connectivity. I have been unsuccessful in getting the audio from this app to connect to bluetooth devices. Any advice thanks using iPhone x.

Great app but limited rudiment selection. This app would be perfect if you could set it to track any rudiment or sticking pattern that you wanted. There are a number of rudimental patterns that I’ve been working on and was hoping to find in here, but sadly are not included. If they ever add a feature to create your own rudiment, or if they add a large amount of other rudiments later on this would hands down be the best app for drummers on the market.

Hopefully this has been updated …ALOT.. I got this thing a while ago and said my accuracy was crap. Keep in mind I don’t ever play with out a click for the last 20 years. I’m reading reviews and I see the developer mentioning Bluetooth head phones won’t work and headphones with microphones. Well, it’s 2022 and these are Apple headphones and AirPods. Tell us what are we supposed to use then ??! They don’t make headphone jacks on them anymore . Or headphones without mics. Is it still an issue ?

Addicting!. This makes rudiments fun, by establishing the score to beat. With such clear feedback, I can already see rapid improvement. But: It’s laborious having to dig out a rudiment / tempo / lead hand you want to return to to improve. Why not let the user rerun a setting directly from the high scores page?

Feedback Doesn’t work. App has many rudiments, metronome, an indicator for when you hit and many other features. But you can play the complete wrong thing and the app will score you at 70 or 80. So it doesn’t actually give you any feedback, which is the whole draw of the app. Why not just use a youtube video that also has indicators. Good app, but please fix this.

Learning. Hi, at the beginning I didn’t know all the features this app offers to the aspiring drummers , percussionist and professional musicians as well. Works well swift support. Great support after I had an issue after installing new iPhone. Deleting and reinstalling did the job. It works very good! I worked first 15 min a day and after 4 days I had my first results. Recommended for every drummer at any level who want a checkup and improve!!

Screen placement crossed. The screen placement is overlapping on the main display. First negative review I’ve ever had to leave for a music app. Please fix this.

Got suckered by a Facebook ad. Mic goes in and out and there's a major lag starting and stopping. You're left with nothing more than a metronome. Disappointed.

Count Ins. Overall, a really great app. Helps keep my timing and let’s me see my progress. One thing I did not see in the app was an action for a “count in”. It can be tricky to start the timer and click and get right on track, which I would think have a bearing on the accuracy rating. Might be something to think about.

Great Investment. Simple App that has lots of potential for quantitative improvement. The rudiment exercises are an excellent way of improving versatility on the drum kit, as well as tracking progress over months or even years. Definitely worth the price tag, given its potential. Come across no issues with crashing or bugs as of yet.

Immediate feedback does wonders!. I’m using this app to warm up and work on the exercises in “Stick Control”. It’s perfect. I get immediate feedback which helps me correct my tempo and consistency while building strength in my weaker hand. It’s simple, but ideal. Highly recommend!

Its not working. Just got this app. Its not even working in iphone. The metronome and sounds dont sync. Same app works as expected in ipad. Disappoined

Display Issues on iPad Mini 4. **UPDATE** Well, I have just downloaded and installed iOS 14.4 and deleted and re-installed the app and it still does not display properly!! This is beyond frustrating!! The app is not displaying properly on my iPad Mini 4. I have the latest OS installed, any suggestions to remedy the issues?

I want to give it 5 stars. I want to give it 5 stars but I have to run learn latency on a regular basis, so often that it has become frustrating. I will be going along practicing, having a score in the nineties and then, out of nowhere, my score suddenly drops to one percent even though I am still on the click. I then have to run « learn latency » several times, sometimes having to reload the app (and sometimes not even that works) before the problem is resolved. Apart from that, I love this app. It’s honestly an incredible tool, I just want more consistency.

Maybe it’s broken?. Not sure what’s wrong with the app. Maybe my version is buggy or something but it doesn’t seem to be working for me as described. It doesn’t seem to take accurate readings. It will either show me as having close to 100% consistency or accuracy then more like 1%. I mean I know I can have a bad day once in a while but that’s kind of excessive :P. Keep in mind that the app doesn’t work with Bluetooth headphones. I tried using an apple lightning to 1/8” adapter but then the audible click didn’t seem to be synced with the app. The click also sounded distorted when running through the apple lightning to 1/8” adapter. Thought it might be the adapter or headphones so I tried a couple of different pairs but no luck. Seems like a really cool idea though. If they get it to work I would definitely revisit it. As of now it was definitely a waste of money. No returns on the App Store unfortunately so buyer beware.

Rudiment ON mode has problems. With rudiment ON mode, the note latency is not the same, thus a very non constant score between the 2 modes.
