What is 30 day fitness workout at home app? A word from the developer: Working out consistently has always been a struggle for me until someone introduced me to the 100-Day Burpees challenge.

For the first time, I managed to work out consistently for 87 days in a row. On day 88, food poisoning put an end to my challenge and I didn't make it to 100 days.

The good news is that I'm now ready to start again with a great new app to track my progress.

I built this app for different reasons:
1. It will push me to continue working out because I love challenging myself and keep track of my progress.
2. It will help folks that struggle to get back into shape by offering them easy workouts that can be done at home without any gear or equipment.
3. If you're a competitor at heart, it's a great tool to gamify your workouts with friends.

Whether your goal is to lose weight, get fitter or build muscle, you can shape your challenge to suit your level and preferences.

Here is how it works:

1. Pick an exercise: burpees, push-ups, sit-ups, squats, kneeing push-ups, lunges, jumping jacks, mountain climber...
2. Select the length of your challenge: 3, 7, 10, 30, 60, 90 or 100 days.
3. (Optional) Set a number of reps you will add every day (+1 per day is recommended for beginners), but you can also pick 0 to keep the same amount of reps per day throughout your challenge.
4. Select the number of reps you will do on day one. (start small, especially for longer challenges)

That leaves you with a challenge that could look like this:

- Starting with 5 burpees today, I will do five more burpees every day for the next 10 days.
- Starting with 1 push-up today, I will do one more push-up every day for the next 30 days.
- I will do 7 jumping jacks every day for 7 days.
- ...

The key is not to smash huge sessions straight away. You need to get your body used to move. And starting with a minuscule amount of efforts is the best way to fight procrastination.

I remember when I started my 100-day burpee challenge a few months ago... I just decided to start, did 1 burpee and I was done for the day. The next day, I did two burpees and I was done for the day. And with small incremental progress like that... I slowly started gaining strength and felt better in my body.

If you would have told me I would be able to do 87 burpees in a row when I started, I would have never believed it.

So that's the key... start with dead-easy goals, show up every day and do a little more every day.

Important rule built in these challenges: If you miss your reps on a specific day, you need to catch up on the next day. So if you had to do 10 push-ups today, and tomorrow you are meant to do 11, but you skip today somehow. You will have to do 21 push-ups tomorrow. This built-in rule is a great way to keep yourself committed and motivated do show up every day.

Great exercises catalog. A necessary app in this times , helping me keep healthy when you can’t leave home

One Rep; great way to start the new year.... I used to love to work out... over time, i’ve gotten a little lazy/forgetful though. What better way to keep me honest and motivated than to incrementally increase my reps and also add new moves to my routine on a daily basis while also keeping track of my progress. Enter One Rep! I’ve got big hopes for this one; to top it off, Edouard is a really great dev! He’s constantly revising the app and will be sure to add some great new features in the coming year and i’m sure beyond... really glad i ran across this app!

Great!!. It’s so simple and so effective. A daily reminder to stop and just DO something that will contribute to my overall health and well-being is great, and knowing that I have set a specific goal I’m wanting to achieve is an enormous motivator.

Great app that keeps me motivated. I love the concept of starting small and adding a little bit every day. When I started, I could barely do 10 push-ups, but now I breeze past that goal. I have been using the app for sit-ups and can now do over 50 without stopping, something I didn’t think I’d be able to say before. In the beginning of using this app, some days would be harder than others, but now that I’m a few months in, there are less “hard” days, until I raise the stakes in my next challenge. I’m over 50 years old, and if I can do it, so can you.

So Easy!. I love how simple and easy it it to use! The personal recommendations are great. As I am trying to get back in the habit of exercising, OneRep has recommended some very simple and easy to accomplish workouts. Each day gets more difficult and if you miss a day then you have to make up for the reps you missed which motivates me to do them now so it’s not terrible later! Well worth it.

What a great way to start the year!. I don’t normally go with that “new year, new me” resolution but I’ve been very serious about getting my body in shape. I needed something to keep myself accountable, a trainer of sorts to make sure I remember to put in the work, and something to get me started slowly but increase the difficulty as it got closer to my deadline. Actually just got my reminder (set from inside the app!) that I have a few workouts to do for today! 2 thumbs up to Ed on his hard work! Currently my favorite fitness app of 2020 😎

Great motivator!. I have just started using this app but appreciate that it is a gentle motivator to move and exercise more. Any push helps when exercise has never been my fave! The app is very basic so expect a learning curve using it. Eduardo is very supportive and responds very quickly to questions- that also contributes to sticking with your program!

30 day challenge. So far so good staying on track hope to make it thru this challenge

So far so good. Love that I am working on building habits. Would love to have some flexibility in goals in terms of days...maybe an every other day option, or an option to build in a rest day. Maybe it is a matter of learning how to use the app in a way that works for me, so that the end goal doesn’t seem too intimidating, but it feels good to do something right every day. Definitely like the reminder function!!!

Easy to use and navigate. I love the ease of use and the ability to create my own work outs. The app can also pre-create ones for you. It’s mechanism is to push motivate you to get one more rep in per day, and it works great at getting you to do that. Good app to stay fit on a regular basis.

One Rep, simple and motivating. I downloaded this app when it was offered for free a couple weeks ago. I immediately set up a jumping jack challenge for myself. I managed to get through a week, and then set up another challenge the following week. Haven’t missed a day. Keeps you accountable for doing exercises you can do right at home. I love it.

Simple Home Workouts. Never wrote a review before, but felt motivated to after using the app daily for the past two weeks. The simplistic body weight exercises provided by the app are incredibly simple and easy to get into especially in my case as someone who’s never exercised frequently. One of the best elements of the app is the daily increase of each workout which helps keep the exercises challenging, but not impossible which building up your tolerance to said exercises. My only complaint is the app could highly benefit from an Apple Watch extension, but aside from that I highly recommend this app!!

Great way to challenge yourself. This is a simple app that gets you to challenge yourself. For me, it has been a while since I have gone to the gym. I am doing the 30 day challenge along with my kids to get that spark back. I also saw there is a 100 day challenge as well. I’m interested to see what that entails once this 30 days are up. Very happy so far and love the motivational quotes you can receive along with daily reminders if you choose to use them.

Great motivator. For someone who hasn’t regularly exercised in years, this app has made the gentle change to incorporating it into my life so smooth. Very grateful for this app.

I hate gyms. This seems to be working out well. I can’t fight against it, because I am the one setting my time and reps. Easy to use, no pressure.

5 Stars!. I’m not going to lie, I thought this was a very pointless app at first. My boyfriend stumbled across a Reddit post about this at the beginning of the corona crazy. I decided to download it because I’m extremely out of shape. It has grown on me and now I really like it! It’s simple to do and realistic. This is a great app!

Great app. Just downloaded the other day after seeing this app on app hookup. Shared it with a few of my friend and we have been keeping up with workouts on here since. Only complaint is I wish it would let me add workouts that I come up with. Other than that it’s a great app.

Fantastic app!. I’m loving this app. Easy and challenging at the same time. Start out slow and add daily. I injured my wrist (not from the app or exercises) and had to delete the tasks and start over, but that was also easy. You can use the exercises or add your own. Love love it!

If this was a premium app and a marvel of coding I could understand having both a premium version and ads, but the features are basic at best and the Ads and premium hinder it more. Either have one or the other! Good idea, poor execution overshadowed by greed. I’m disappointed and uninstalling.

Basic. App is basic. Doesn’t provide varied fitness plan, just one type of exercise in a challenge and increases number of reps over a set period of days. App does not offer details/overview of workout for beginners who might not know how to complete a proper movement; no images. App does not pair with music applications. App does not pair with gyroscope to count steps. App does not pair with fitness trackers such as Fitbit or Apple Watch. There are other pay-to-use apps out there that provide many more features and tailored workout routines with variety.

Loving it so far!. This app allows you to set daily increasing goals that are realistic. For example, increasing pushups by a certain number each day. There’s lots of flexibility and even gives you when the end dates will be for the exercises. And it gives you reminders, if you need them.

Love it. Worth the lifetime membership. Headed to the military in a few months and this is helping me achieve the standard fitness goals. Can’t wait to crush the competition.

Habit building. The app is created under the idea of habit building so it's effective long term. I set a reminder at 5PM so I force myself to get out from my work to do my workout. Love it!

Honest review. Only a cool app in my opinion if you pay for the subscription.. otherwise ads are annoying af and you can’t personalize it the way you want.

Helped me build a habit of working out. I’ve been using the app since last month, i took a break in the middle of last month because i was on vacation but went back on immediately and realized that i was actually doing the work and wanting to these workout easy day and finish them. i’ve became lazy the past few years and working out became a hassle. maybe my next step are doing these at a gym rather than home haha. no but this app isn’t something like immediate life changing, but more of a small step to change your life style.

Kept forgetting but great idea. It’s a great idea for an app and the interface is really easy to use. My only constructive request would be to have some kind of sound available for the reminder so it’s more like an alarm that gets your attention because I missed it every day for a week and just had to reset it but then missed it again LOL. Obviously I am needing more assistance at starting a new habit but that would be awesome!

Great app. I love this app. It makes sticking to a routine simple. Notifications fire on time, every time, and the UI is simple, clean, and Intuitive. One thing I wish the dev would implement is a reset button on any setup routine. I got sick for a week and missed all of my workouts. It would be great to be able to restart everything without having to delete and set up again.

Beyond Expectations. This is such a well put together app with so much attention to detail making it aesthetically pleasing but it’s also very functional and does the job. I really needed this right now.

Motivates me. I was a regular exerciser (>4 times per week) with the whole “Go hard or Go home” attitude. Due to time constraints I let the fitness and therefore motivation slide. PROS: I have found this app motivates me in subtle ways every day which gets me up and MOVING. I am feeling those muscles and endorphins working again which in turn provides me much more energy. CONS: None yet but eventually I can see myself motivated enough to exercise without the App. It is great to know it’s on hand if required again in the future. RECOMMENDATIONS: Short videos or animations to ensure proper techniques. Keep motivating us all Ed.
