Requires sign in way too often. When the website started requiring me to sign in and reset passwords more often than I thought needed, I migrated to the app. It was fine for a year or so and now the app requires me to sign in every time I use it. Multiple times a month.

Nothing that earns points actually works. Been trying to link my Fandango account for weeks. Fails every time. No points. Loaded a picture of my Dr Strange tickets. Never saw the points. Tried to enter any of the various codes for points - I get an error message every time. Honestly not sure what the point of this app is.

Please fix this problem!. Haven’t been able to use the filter option for searching through the rewards part for quite a while. All it does is freeze the app when you try to submit filter and you have to close it. So annoying that I don’t really use the app anymore

Single WORST phone app I’ve ever used.. Crashes at least once a week and I have to reinstall. App tells me repeatedly that it can only be used in the US and I need to adjust my location settings. Then when the settings load, guess what? United States is already applied! What a complete piece of garbage. So sad to see such a terrible product with the Disney name…

Free Stuff. While I don’t think I’ve put too much effort into it, I’ve gotten a bunch of cool free stuff! Hats, movies, books, all sorts of stuff. And it’s not crappy stuff. The quality is pretty high. Definitely worth the little effort put in.

Too many bugs. For as long as this app has been around you’d think they could have found and fixed these bugs and their email links. Any other company that sends me emails will have the links open in their app that I have installed. In this app it opens in a web page which I then have to log into to receive my points, etc.. This seems like an easy fix that they are ignoring. They fixed it for a short time but it’s broken again. Inside the app if you want to redeem points and choose one of the category filters you get zero results. Also, Disney, change up your rewards more frequently. The majority of the movies for instance have been in the rewards for years. I’d love to redeem my points but not for movies I already have or some of the other sad choices of movies or rewards. Throw a more current movie in once in a while. Otherwise it’s more like torture than rewards. Disney’s not making it easy to be a Disney insider. Developer, please don’t respond with your email address asking me to contact you about the problem. Frankly, I see the issues described in this review in about a hundred reviews going back at least two years with the exact same developer response and the problem is never solved. I and the other people reviewing this app have clearly explained what needs to be fixed and we don’t need the same excuse response that gives the impression you want to fix the problems when you clearly have ignored them for years. Just fix it already.

Veronica H. My biggest problem with the app is that I can never redeem my monthly rewards. I haven’t been able to redeem them since December 2020 and I have emailed customer service and still the problem isn’t solved. That’s almost 8 months of rewards I wasn’t able to claim.

Ok for now. This app was great, then it updated and has become unusable. I was having to log in on my web browser on my phone. But I deleted the app and reinstalled it. All seems to working ok for now. I’m not completely sold yet. But when an app updates, the customer shouldn’t have to delete & reinstall it to get it to work again.

Used to work fine. I liked it when it use to work. I thought maybe my phone was too old. I got a new phone and like so many others recently reviewed, still nothings works. It wouldn’t accept my movie tickets for the past 4 movies I’ve seen in theaters. Now nothing will load and can’t even get my monthly newsletter points. Basically pointless now.

Stitch and awesome. Really really really awesome I love this app it’s fun and allows you to play games and have awesome rewards I do wish that they had some stitch rewards but otherwise awesome

App is unusable. App worked great before I was forced to update it. Since then it doesn’t work. Won’t load pages, doesn’t get the codes properly from email, can’t review rewards plus more. This app was decent and functioned well until Disney decided to upgrade the look and setup and it just keeps getting worse. Also the old reward system was easier to use, but now it’s annoying and worthless. They also haven’t updated rewards in a few years. Mainly DVDs/posters/pops/etc I don’t have use for or already own.

One stop shop as a Disney Fan!. Love this app and all it has to offer! It’s so easy to use and collect points with purchases and bonus codes, and I get to redeem them for the coolest disney products. It’s evolved so much over the past few months And I’m obsessed with their new physical rewards!!

Free Disney gift cards!. I was able to enter in the Disney movies I already own in my home and redeemed my point for a free $10 Disney gift card!!

Won’t let me log in. Every time I go to log in I get a screen asking me to change my password. If I click “skip” nothing happens, if I click “change password “ nothing happens, and if I close that pop up I return to the screen where it asks me to log in or create a new account. I have an iPhone 12 Pro running the newest software from Apple . Frustrating

Won’t know full potential of the app until ability to link theater account is updated. So far it’s a good app with availability to earn points and redeem towards posters, toys, movies etc.. However the ability to attach my Regal account and earn pts. for movies I see, is not available yet. I think once it’s updated, and my ticket points go towards merchandise, it will be much more enjoyable.

Unique Books!. Been a member for so long but in the past have only redeemed for dvds and Pins. The option of getting unique books (100 Acre Woods and Cars 3) was really appreciated.

Works well. App works very well we have a lot of old Disney movies and I’m happy to see the codes still work it is limited to 5 codes per 24 hour period

Great rewards but I need more points. Love the rewards, would be great if they had more Disney swag outside of dvds and posters. Now that I have Disney plus I don’t watch as many DVDs and theaters are closed. It’s hard to earn points. When will I get points for my Disney plus subscriptions.

App. I was excited to download the app But I never get any more points it always says same amount even when they say I receive points for certain things Disappointed

I appreciate points. I love the app Lay-out. I love points. The only thing I wish was they had better rewards to spend my points on. Too many posters and paper to color on. I was all excited figured Disney would have 3d movies and a bunch of cool collectibles. The trillion dolor company it is off of our kids. Sorry I am not being ungrateful I’m just giving constructive criticism. Today they offered baby yoda bobble heads it’s sold out in hrs. Come on lol.

Terrible. Disney movie rewards was so much better. It like pulling teeth to get my rewards. I enter codes points for show up. Send an email with documentation and still waiting since September 4th to get my points for mulan

Program. I so happy you bring the old program back in which is it more easy to order.

Great Rewards Program!. What a great loyalty rewards program! Getting rewarded with so many great items like posters, blu-rays, toys, collectibles, experiences, all for buying things I’m already buying! Special shout-out to the fantastic customer service team who are always readily available and have helped me out a couple times when I had a question or issue.

Doesn’t work. I haven’t been able to see any of my reward info. Always an error loading. Clicking the prompt to link my Disney+ account, it just keeps loading. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. I also wish there were longer time limits after seeing a movie. We are just getting used to going to the cinema again and scanning our tickets.

My points are not adding. I am not very happy with Disney insiders at the moment. I typed in a bunch of codes and they all said success but only two of them added their points to my account and point history. Please fix whatever bug this is as soon as possible. Thank you.

Privacy. This app only exists, with its exclusive rewards, to take away our rights that are protected by using a browser. I’m annoyed by constant pop ups to use this instead of what I want to use. I’m blocked from some rewards unless K use this app. Then this app opens a browser and makes me log in every time for half the stuff I want to do anyway.

App is just ok. I've been a member of Disney Rewards for many many years. However, the new versions of the app just seem to get worse and worse than before. Everytime I try to filter the rewards, the app freezes. This is not just a one off problem on my end as there are countless other users that state they have the same problem. Also the rewards are getting more and more expensive and honestly just arnt worth it anymore.

Easy rewards. Just link ur account to booking apps. Or just use the codes for movie watch points. Get points and earn free merchandise.. ❤️

Great addition!. I’ve been a member for awhile now and this app has been a great addition. I can now upload tickets and redeem for posters even easier than before. I always keep an eye on their Instagram account because they offer points and tips on new rewards.

Useful but buggy. Useful app and easy to use. But when I try to filter any rewards it freezes the app and I have to not only restart but I then have to scroll through everything based on latest.

App doesn’t work. I downloaded the app ever since the Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness red carpet trying to get that pin they advertised and this app has never worked. When I open the app, none of the tabs work except the HOME Screen. The PLAY, EARN, REDEEM and MOVIES tabs just change color but nothing loads so really can’t do anything. I wait to see if it’s just loading slow but nothing ever happens. Then when I try to just go onto their website in a browser, it just redirects me to the app.. that doesn’t work. I deleted the app and reinstalled the app multiple times but the same issue occurs. They definitely need to fix this issue. It’s been over a month now since I’ve had the app. I get notifications to redeem codes for points but can never do it in the app.

Signing Out. Idk why, but the app has been signing me out every time I access it. And I’ve heard it’s been happening to other people’s phones as well. It’s starting to get annoying and sometimes I just don’t use the app because of that problem.

Cool Stuff. I’ve been a member for years. It’s easy. I’m buying tickets anyway. I save my points. I get free stuff. The stuff is really nice. I especially like the pins.

Disney Movie Insider come a long way. The service in general has come a long way from its early days. The web presence definitely improved from its clunky UX beginnings. The app is a work in progress as new features are being added every couple of weeks and the design changes regularly. A new feature called Play will be rolled out soon. Recently, the changes are more tweaks to make the website and app comparable experiences. It still needs some work, as buttons aren't lined up on mobile and colors aren't consistent, but I give them 4 stars for showing commitment to improving the UX for the service over all after years of stagnation.

Disappointed Disney owns this. Content in the app is lacking. Where is the insider info?? Nothing new? No joke, an average YouTuber will give you more insider info than this app. Points are given when you make movie purchases. Not many so it will take time to bank up before you can cash them out for a prize. Prizes are terrible mostly Blu-ray’s, dvds, and movie posters. The prizes are mostly items you can buy from any retailer for less than $30. So nothing unique really. Their charges for shipping these prizes you claim are high too. The only prizes that really sell are the gift cards. Free money is free money I guess. The value is not much. The big selling point is the gift cards is that they look like the ones you can get from the parks with certain characters or franchise logos besides the normal Mickey ones you see everywhere. Basically they forgot about this app.

Love this site, but…..,. I truly love DMI. I go on everyday. I love the opportunity to earn points to redeem towards really cool items. The only thing I wish would change is that I wish they would either change up or add new Disney movie titles (preferably with digital copies) more frequently. I love getting new movies with my points. Would love to add new titles to my collection, but it always seems like it’s the same ones. Other than that, DMI is great!!!

I was happy with this app. I was happy with this app, but for some reason now it doesn’t want to open once you hit to check the rewards for each movie. Well, just making constructive criticism . Once we get back in the game, I will update the Feedback.

Not partial to this app. There’s ups and downs to this app. The ups, it’s easier to redeem rewards. However, to that point. When I was doing the filter to look at available rewards, the filter would only stay for a few minutes and then do it’s own thing. I was putting in the filter for high to low points. I was scanning through and before I knew it it would show the thinking sign and then list a whole bunch of redeemable items which wasn’t being listed by points. So then I had to go back to filter and press a different button to list a different filter before I could go back to high to low points. The. I would go back through the whole process again. If none of this is coming through correctly, that’s cause I can’t see anything that I’m typing other than what’s being put on my word suggestion list as I type. I would show a screen shot of what I’m doing, but I can’t see anything... anyways, another bug to fix apparently. ... I’m going to type onto another format and then paste it into here so I know what I’m saying will be saying correctly and I can get my point across. Cant see what I’m at or what’s being done. I typed out a whole thing and ‘paste’ is not a option. So major bugs are here on this app. Well if you want to know the rest of the issues, email me cause I can’t paste them and finish what I was trying to communicate about. MAJOR BUGS.

A Piece of Junk. I off-loaded the app a few months ago from my iPad Air2 since it wasn't loading my newsletter points. This allowed the newsletter points link to send me to the web site instead, which works fine. I decided to give the latest version a try assuming you must have fixed this issue by now and, low and behold, it is even worse! Now only the Home tab works. So I off-loaded it again so that I can use the web site for the newsletter points. Do you guys bother to test apps before publishing them? Doesn't look like it. Update: I've given up on the app and switched to only using the website.

App constantly crashes.. I have a iPhone 5s and the app worked fine up til a few months ago when I click on the app it comes up the crashes every time. I’ve wiped the hard drive totally clean and still the app crashes. It doesn’t go any further than coming up and crash! I’ve downloaded it and reinstalled a dozen times and no changes. Plenty of hard drive space too. The app will update itself no problem and it says nothing about needing iOS 15 to continue like a lot of apps do today. Please help!

Better than the old system. This is better than the old movie rewards. As a customer without reliable internet for years, lost an amazing amount of points because I didn’t log in enough…..

Pleased. I enjoy finding unique items for my grandchildren. And it was great to get Disney + for myself so I can stay up with the content of discussions with them and enjoy the new programs as well!

It used to be amazing. For the last few updates I have waited to see if the glitches are fixed so I can use my points or earn more from my movie tickets…all to no avail. All I get on those parts of the app are the spinning wheel of death. The home page is fine and my profile page is fine…play, earn, redeem and movies are all spinning wheels of death. Any time now!

Reward Sort doesn’t work!. Reward Sort now gives zero results when any sort is selected. Want to see a reward by value? Start scrolling - sorting by high to low or low to high shows zero results. Doesn’t work on my iPhone SE (claims app is compatible) or iPad (not compatible). Computers have been used for sorting data for 60 years - is it really that difficult to get this working on iOS? Maybe Disney can hire some middle school kids this summer and get it working.

Rewards. Why aren’t there rewards for older folks? I love the little trinkets, necklaces etc all you have are posters and movies I already have?

Big Disney fan to find this app very useful!. Ever since Disney Movie Insiders was launched with only digital rewards, I find it decent. But now that they’ve added physical rewards, I absolutely love it!

App crashes when filtering search results.. I used to be able to use credits to get BluRays and current movies, but it seems like everything is now either a digital poster or some sort of subscription. Not even able to filter search results because of a glitch that causes the app to crash while filtering search result categories.

Decent selection. Needs a search bar. Would like to be able to search by product type, or movie etc.

Since the Beginning. I’ve been a Movie Insider since the beginning and I still absolutely love it! I get points every week just for reading the weekly email. I get free bonus points thrown at me for Holidays and movie primers in the way of Codes and when I actually do earn reward codes it’s always because I streamed or went to watch a movie I was gonna see anyway, so win win. Login. Won’t let me login as it just sits on the screen with the loading screen of death.

So frustrated.. I can’t scroll down on the rewards pop up to the button that would let me upload a picture of my movie tickets. What’s the point if I can’t even get my points counted? And the website isn’t working any better.

Love the Disney Insider App. Great way to be connected to the Disney features, movies and other services.

Redeem. Whenever I go to the redeem section and try to filter for options the app freezes. Have deleted and reloaded app twice with no success.

I can’t sign in !?!. I just downloaded this app for the marvel content especially the falcon and the winter soldier game, but I cant even make an account it keeps saying that I am not eligible to register on the site, I tried with all of my emails and I am 20 so it’s not an age problem either... what’s going on with this app !?!

No good rewards. Ever since the update and name change, all rewards are not valuable. Where are the movies or figures. The change was mostly for the benefit if disney and not for customers.

Trash. Wow Disney! Can’t you afford an app that works? This program change over is weak, and this app absolutely doesn’t work on my iPhone XR updated to newest IOS. It doesn’t even redeem the store bought movie codes, but the website does. The other reward program actually had quality redemptions, this new program and app are trash. Too bad from such a mega corporation!

Forget about redeeming points. The “new and improved” app does NOT work. Go ahead. Try to redeem your points. Apply the filter with the category “Movies at Home” and tap Show Results. NOTHING. It conveniently freezes EVERY TIME. Why collect points when you can’t redeem them for what you want. We expect much more, Disney.

Ugh. Terrible and useless app. Barely functions and when it does, it’s maddening. Don’t download, just use the website (which is also annoying). I miss Disney Movie Rewards.

Buggy and pretty useless in Canada. All the offers say “not available in your country” and anytime you try to do a Browse items to redeem it glitches and freezes as many people have said.

Lack of iPad/landscape support. My iPad has a keyboard case, and I use it in landscape almost all of the time. This app does not fit the screen, nor will it rotate to landscape. Automatic one-star review.

What the Fu k. It’s been loading for 24 hrs what’s up with this dumb app

Unusable. Clearly developed for a large-screened phone. Cannot get past the first screen, as the “Continue” button is off the screen and it won’t scroll.

Waste of time. Useless app. Doesn’t even work half the time. Less than half.

Points not updated. Twice in a row my points have not updated…including my “birthday month” points.

Can’t redeem points. Love the layout of the app but I can’t seem to redeem my points anytime I click on one of the items to redeem the screen never loads

Changed for the worst. I hate movie insiders. Yes it looks more modern and technically it’s cool there is an app but the rewards are all gone. It used to be so fun collecting points and exchanging them for fun rewards. I really hope they bring back the physical rewards like the DVDs and the Blu-Rays because this sucks now.

Update. Account is not working

Useless app. You can look at your points, as long as the points are about a week old. Can’t add movie for points. Can’t redeem points for rewards. There is no point in this app.

Since update hate it. It was awesome before last update now it doesn’t show hardy anything for rewards and it freezes.

Does this app even work anymore?. I can’t redeem codes. It ALWAYS says try again later. If I want to see my points it gives me an error and if I want to spend the points I earned while the app still worked it loads indefinitely and I never get to see the store. What is the point?

Un usable. This app is completely unusable. I’ve downloaded, deleted then downloaded again several times and the issues still persist. I have to log in several times because it keeps kicking me out Can’t link accounts because it keeps kicking me out Can’t redeem points because it gets stuck loading and doesn’t progress after that My points are going to waste 100% because I can’t redeem

Buggy. This app is buggy (website isn’t better). I’d like to redeem points but the app (& the website) doesn’t load the images of the items to spend points on. Given the size of Disney, you’d think they’d could make an app (& website) that works. Disappointing.

App issue for long time now. Bonus codes are not being accepted in iOS app, Accepts only when entered using browser website . Points n rewards history not showing up . States “error loading data”. Please fix ASAP.

A dream come true.. I enjoy searching for my favorite movies. The search gets easier.

Something isn’t Quite right. I can’t shake the feeling but the app isn’t perfect. I miss Disney Movie Rewards and Disney Movies Anywhere app. But this is great for entering points fast. I wish it would automatically add the digital copies like DMR did

Signs me out constantly and doesn’t log me in with Face ID. Every time I go to this app, it has logged me off requiring me to re-log in. That shouldn’t be a huge deal since I set up log in with Face ID but then logging in with that does not work. Extremely frustrating.

Forced portrait orientation. Any app that forces portrait only orientation deserves one star or less. It’s lazy design, unimaginative and just dumb. Many people with tablets or iPads have them in cases where they are propped in landscape orientation. Forcing portrait mode when the app opens hijacks the device.

Complete rip off. Total rip off. They contract you to where you HAVE to buy movies and the points can only be spent on select items that aren’t worth it. I’m so disappointed. I wish I’d never signed up for this.

Doesn’t Ever Work. At first it was great but for the past few months it never works. I’ll open it to put in codes or extra codes from emails and it never lets me.

Good program, but app is buggy. Logs me out every 24 hours - kind of w defeats the purpose of an app, IJS. Otherwise, program is solid, hope it doesn’t go anywhere.

App is broken. I’m not sure what exactly happened, but the app is completely worthless now. Sections of the app are stuck buffering information and never loads. Frustrating and infuriating.

Last Update Broke App. Ever since the last update, I am greeted with an error message every time I open the app. The error says it can’t update my account because it’s outside of the United States (it’s not). Can’t get rid of it.

useless app. Why have an app that constantly links you to an outside web browser where you have to re-login? Everyone knows how to find websites just fine without an app if that’s where you want people to land. This app is just a ridiculous extra step.

Ap issue. I wasn’t able to load codes so I removed the ap from my phone and tried to reload. Now I cannot get the ap on my phone

Useless app. The app is completely useless because whenever you click on something it launches Safari and opens up in the website. So why not just use the website in the first place? What’s the point of this app?

Where did the movies go?. Only two mystery movie options now. :(

Too many bugs. I can barely get this app to function. Only the Home page is interactive. When I select the Play, Earn or Redeem buttons, the pages never load, rendering this app useless.

App not much?. When I go try to redeem my points the page is blank and nothing else is showing. I’m using my iPad Pro and this app isn’t helping much.

“Error loading data”. I get this message every time I try to load something in the app. Just doesn’t work anymore.

Problem connecting. “We’re sorry, there was a problem connecting. Please try again.” Been getting this error message for weeks. App is terrible buggy. Won’t let me log in.

Great APP Great company. Disney insiders is a great app I don’t redeem over 2000 points and stuff

App Freezes. The app freezes when I try to filter the rewards. There also doesn’t seem to be a way to search for rewards. I had to delete the app so I could open it in a browser. Not very useful the way it is now.

Rewards page is seemingly broken. Rewards page rarely loads anymore. I usually have to login to the website to review and order anything in the last month or so. Fix this app!!

It’s Great!!. It’s fun for everyone no matter what age you are

Broken Rewards. The rewards have been broken for some time. The app only loads the first 10-15 rewards. The website has exponentially more rewards displayed.

Will not allow you to login. My Insider and my Disney+ have two different e-mails and will not allow me to log into my Disney Insider App because of this.

Disney Movie Insiders. Amazing you get points then they give you back it’s most definitely a win win! 😀👍😀

Can’t sign in. The app looks great but when I go to sign in it says I’m not eligible to sign in or register please try to fix this I’ve been trying to login and it keeps telling me the same thing and I get so frustrated.

Terrible app. This app is constantly asking me to agree to terms and conditions. No matter what response I give it pops right back up seconds later. It also will not allow me to connect it to my fandango account. Nothing but errors with this app. Deleted it as it is totally useless.

Glitchy. I love the Insiders app, there are just many issues. It constantly logs me out, and then resets to where I’m outside the USA. Every day. It also doesn’t load properly, there were over 400 points the app was noticing but the website was.

Love Disney rewards. I love that you can get rewards for buying movies and do online trivia it’s awesome

Doesn’t work. Every time I tried to redeem points the app froze and crashed. When I contacted customer service I was told to use my computer. So, no need to have this app.

Blue ray movie rewards. Disney’s reward selections for blue ray movie combo packs are great for everyone’s various tastes in entertainment.

Won’t let me download. Every time I try to download the app, it starts to load but instead of finishing the download and becoming available, it offloads it. I therefore cannot open the app at all which is super frustrating.

Disney is the Best. I love being rewarded for buying my favorite Disney Movies!

HORRIBLE!!!. I’m at home using our super fast wi-fi and I can’t get anything to load in this garbage app. It just endlessly shows the spinning wheel, yet never loads. Yet I can log onto the mobile version of Disney Insiders and quickly navigate through the entire site. UTTER GARBAGE APP. Deleting now.

Disney Movie Insiders app needs to show Regal Now Available. My Disney Movie insiders app Account is to Regal but the Disney Movie Insiders app is showing Regal as Coming Soon

Huge and crashed. Didn’t realize until it started downloading. Over 600MB! Never mind. Plus it crashed when I tried to log in. Trim it down and fix the bugs then let me know

Can’t sign in. I try to sign in with my existing account but the app just gets stuck with a loading icon obstructing a screen asking me to change my password that I can’t interact with
