Registration flow has unnecessary friction. Registration would be quicker and easier if the username/password selection supported iOS autofill (so I can generate a new random password for this service with a single tap). Ditto for auto filling credit card info from my keychain. It would also be amazing if you could unify the EA and electrify Canada experiences instead of making me register again. Finally, I had the auto-load dollar amount. This should work like a gas pump -- pre-authorize $100 when I start a session, then bill the actual amount upon completion. It is not consumer friendly to have $5-10 tied up in a bunch of different company's bank accounts.

Poor quality and unreliable. The chargers I used or attempted to use in Canada were all in disrepair and working poorly. I’m going to stick with Tesla chargers going forward. This company has not been able to keep up maintenance after initial investment.

VERY disappointed. My first attempt to use this app & company was very frustrating. There are 4 chargers at the Canadian Tire in Kelowna BC: one was out of service, one in an endless loop of “preparing” or some other vacuous message, and two showed as operational. The “tap” pad on the one I used was non-functional and so would not recognize my iPhone, so I had to use my credit card at a higher cost rate. Yes, NFC works on my iPhone for every other Apple Wallet card so that is not the problem. I will complain to Electrify Canada but that is a waste of time I should not have to endure. Oh, and there was no help line phone number that I could call in the “help” menu on the charger. Inexcusable.

Infuriatingly bad. I couldn’t get the verify button to link through properly and then when adding my card for the plan apparently my postal code isn’t a valid postal code, nor was any other postal code I’ve had over my lifetime. Nor were the postal codes of any of the businesses ive worked for. This app is infuriatingly bad and I wish I had just started charging instead of wasting my time with this.

Why the app is only for Canada?. US is just an hour away and has more stations but the app is only limited to Canada and need to install another app for the states It would be nice to havd one unified app for North America

Mediocre implementation. This charging network is very unreliable. Typically 2-3/4 chargers will be either broken outright. Or not working properly. A big gripe is the extra “continue” dialogue after charging is initiated. Which no other charger has and often leads one to walk away before the charger actually starts. One good thing is that you can tap a credit card and don’t NEED the app. Overall not so good.

Constant problems with Chademo. I have driven an EV for 5 years and Electrify stations are the absolute worst for Chademo charging. The app fails to accept payment, even when the wallet has a balance, and often will not initiate charging. Even reporting a charging station problem is difficult to do and comes up with error messages constantly. Very hard to get situations rectified while onsite.

5 star loser.. Nothing of this company in my area along Hyw #1 there are none of their charging stations east of Calgary. It doesn’t seem to work with Apple. Tried the app would not let me sign in after making an account. No response from contacting EC. Deleted!!!

Worst app ever. Super slow, cannot add any car, they dont even reply to support request…

Bad app, poor customer service, horrible charging stations. User experience on app is horrible. Couldn’t not input credit card details without error. Finally figured out that you can’t have spaces between the postal code. The developers should be considering these small things that make a big difference. The chargers themselves are useless 90% of the time. When I plug them into my brand new Audi Etron, the chargers do not recognize they are plugged in. Even with 30 minutes of free charging through Audi, this program is a joke and not worth the hassle. Customer service is non existent.

Outrageous Pricing. Will only use as a last resort. $0.57 a minute is ridiculous.

Steep Price Increase Recently. If you charge fast (100kW+), the price has just gone up by over 50% with their switch to price per kWh. I previously averaged $20/charge, it’s now over $30/charge.

Can’t even use the app. Keep showing “Oops, networking issue….”

Unreliable. Was a hassle to connect, took forever as it froze several times. Drops off from wifi now and then. I don’t see any added benefit of using this app, unless there are some much needed corrections.

No support. I am having the same problem. Everybody else is having being stuck in the privacy screen. I’ve contacted them four times now and no one is addressing this. Terrible terrible customer support.

Still haven’t managed to sign up. Despite the negative reviews, I decided to try and sign up. Has anyone supervising the app development actually tried to do this on an iPhone? It’s a clown show. Fields are improperly identified (e.g. my phone tried to enter a suggested password in an email field). You can paste into some fields, but not others. If I’m trying to use a secure password, I don’t want to have to type it out! (I use a password manager, like any intelligent person) If you don’t get to the end of the process, you can’t come back to it later, you have to start from scratch. S#!t show.

Cannot activate app. App is stuck at privacy policy message, cannot get past and support is of no help. This is the EV revolution.

Actually works great.. This app and the charging network have never failed. I drive a Kia EV and I’m always looking for Canadian Tire Electrify Canada stations where travelling long distances.

No CarPlay. It’s strange that there is a CarPlay app for Electrify America, but not one for Electrify Canada. In fact, it’s strange that there are two apps at all when a lot of us drive over the border and use apps in both countries.

Awful support, terrible app, doesn’t work. Support is non existent I signed up for monthly membership and now I cannot access the app to cancel as it is stuck on the policy update splash screen and no gesture will allow me to bypass. Support has done nothing to help me.

Increased price by 120%. I used to charge until full for 20 dollars, now they changed to 70 cents per kWh. Based on my car’s efficiency, it is equivalent of 17L/100km as a gas car. Lol never gonna use again. Crazy pricing

Service client -10/10. Je suis un nouveau client de Electricity Canada et je peux vous dire le service client, il est très décevant. Je suis incapable de parler à quelqu’un qui parle français, il faut qui fasse à faire avec un traducteur pour me parler. La ligne téléphonique a coupé 2 fois lors de l’échange téléphonique. J’ai du rappelé un autre jour pour que mon frère qui parle très bien l’anglais appel et règle mon problème. Je n’ai pas eu le service en français mais mon problème a été réglé. 10 jour plus tard, je reçois un appel de Jone de Electricify Canada. En me disant que c’est pas possible le remboursement. ( je parle a 2 personnes et les 2 personnes me dit pas la même chose), donc j’ai tout de suite demander a parler a un supérieur, mais aucun supérieur ne parle français. Mais Electricify Canada offre le service en français. J’ai tenu mon boute et après 1 heure de temps au téléphone, Jone de Electricify Canada a fini par me raccrocher au nez. Merci Electricify Canada pour votre service en français

Difficile de créer un compte et impossible de se connecter. Très difficile de juste créer un compte. Après plusieurs tentatives avec plusieurs mails lorsque je réussis à créer un compte il est impossible de se connecter avec et Le service est juste nul malgré leurs réponses rapides.

Do not add money on this. You will lose 5$ right away it will always reload 5$ when it gets low and you can never use your whole amount and customer service sucks

Good luck. The chargers work but I would not recommend buying a pass. It’s hit or miss if the pass actually works.

App doesn’t work. The App is stuck on the privacy policy and the green arrow does nothing to get to the next page. So can’t top up the wallet, had to pay at the high rate the last time I charged

All this and the charger didn’t even work. Charger reviews 0 stars on systems like this Why do I need an app? Why do I need an account? Why do I need to top up an account and carry a balance? Imagine if gas stations were like this, stupid right? Be part of the solution, not part of the problem

Needs a lot of work. Tesla owner, used this for the first time. Very slow charge in Golden, a bit awkward to set up, unhelpful customer service. Big contrast to Tesla’s setup!

Useless. I have the app but annoy get past the “Our Policy Has Changed” screen. The green square with the arrow does not respond to touches. Impossible to go any further. Too bad. I was going to try one of their charging stations today.

Cannot sign up. When trying to activate my plan I'm presented with an error message: "error occurred while communicating with the gateway".

Still missing Carplay. Carplay is still unavailable making using this app illegal while driving in Quebec. All other ev charging app support carplay, electify america app do support it. Wake up Electricity canada

Unable to add the pass to Apple Wallet. Somehow the digital pass disappeared from Apple Wallet and now I’m not able to add it back with error msg “There was an issue adding your digital membership pass to your Apple Wallet”. Tried rebooting the phone and removed/re-installed the app but still got the same error. Please get it fixed!

The App Works. I know that there are a lot of complaining about Electrify Canada stations, but the app works well.

Can’t sign in. I tried to take advantage of the Pass+ membership & forced myself through the painful signup process that is long & does not allow auto fill. Once I finally got in & verified the email address it prompted me to sign in again, except the password didn’t work. So I reset the password several times. Password managers are not supported & pasting is disabled, so I had to retype a long password each time. I gave up. Back I go to spending the first 10 minutes of each charge trying to get the physical credit card machine to work.

Charge Speed. We have just purchased an Electric Silverado which very high charging speeds. Charges at 144kwh and took only 45 minutes from 33% to 85%. This is how all charger locations should be cable of and into the future. Thank you very much electrify Canada made it possible to make my Western Canada road trip possible from Winnipeg to Vancouver island and back. Thank you GM for producing such a wonderful vehicle to both drive, use for work and have charged up.

Does not work in usa. Very few charging stations in canada and does not work in usa
