They removed the ads!. This app tried to put ads in before the video feed. They paid dearly in reviews. They have removed the ads and I think they deserve recognition for listening to the users.

Ads, Really???. For some reason, you buy this camera and of course it has to go with an app that is less than ideal. But on top of that’s, the most recent update has ADS every time I turn the camera on! I’ve used this camera for 6 months now, and this latest update is the first time I’ve seen video ads playing before I get to use the camera! Banners are fine, I don’t mind those, but c’mon. It wasn’t free!

Not great. I have a few cameras that I bought to check my home when I'm away. The programming seems outdated now. No update in over 2 years while the iPhone OS is updated all the time, it can't keep up. The cameras are always going crazy and making noise and moving or restarting on their own. Super creepy. I know there is a risk of hacking as with any and all electronic devices but it's uncomfortable. I disconnect them quite often. The microphone doesn't work that well either and it takes forever to load when I click to view one of the rooms.

If I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT purchase the cloud premium subscription they will take your money and you will not get the features it states that it will not automatically renew after a month but it does and still no cloud features half the time the app says camera is not connected to internet but when you go to connectivity it says excellent customer service is non existent tried to contact company for refund never get a response had to go to Apple to see if they can refund the money I have already paid for the features that I did not receive

Great app & product. Can’t beat the price, no problems setting up, consistent great performance for 3 cameras in different states. Proximity to WiFi router may help, mine are very close.

Stopped recording. Loved this when I first got it. Use it as a baby monitor. Well all of a sudden one day it stopped recording the clips and now says no SD card detected. So now I can’t know what’s happening when I’m not home to see my kids. Very disappointing. Will be looking at other options.

My experience has been great. I don’t understand why all the bad reviews. I don’t get ads like some reviewers say. The app works better than the other two more expensive ones I have tried. I can sync multiple cameras to this app. There is only a second or two lag on video and sound. And we are able to talk to each other no matter where we are even in different states. Hands down the best baby monitor system I have.

A little confusing at first.. Took a few to get it set up. After that the camera has been very responsive and the sound is clear.

Love the camera. I haven’t had any issues with the camera. I just wish the app would alert me when the baby starts moving or starts crying.

Cloud Service Scam. I have been paying $10 monthly for the last few months for the CVR service but have only been receiving the $2 motion only service. I have tried fixing it to no luck. I have tried to find a way to reach the company but there is nothing. I will be getting rid of the camera and canceling service if this persist for the rest of this months subscription.

Horrendous baby monitor. Do not buy!. Unfortunately if you are looking at the app it probably means you’ve already bought the camera, if so, return it. If you’re not flooded with adds keeping you from seeing your child, then it’s disconnecting every 5 min and going offline. Additionally, the adjustable decibel detection is a joke. It either hears a fly fart and sends you an alert or you get nothing. Just an overall aweful app and system. The only reason it’s not one star is because the camera quality is decent and the mount is good.

Setting is very difficult. I purchased a camera but it’s very hard to connect. After it says wifi connected, it won’t connect the device and always ask to reset the camera.. after resetting about 14-15 times it finally get connected but it didn’t start.. I haven’t been able to connect yet..

Awesome WiFi Cam for the Price. This cam does a lot to be so inexpensive. To be able to remotely turn it on and off is great alone. Then you have the ability to remotely turn the cam in every direction...and zoom in. Picture distorts when zooming but still a great feature. And let’s not forget night vision. I have mine setup to watch my 3D printer in my basement (man-cave) and just bought a second one for a family member that lives alone. Hopefully the company will make it viewable on the Apple watch.

Scam!. Originally starting out working and worked decently. Got new phone and phone apple account showed active subscription. I was able to log into digit cam app; however subscription disappeared on the app on my new phone. No help desk or anyone to reach to reverse the charge I paid for an annual subscription that only lasted 5 months. Complete rip off. Don’t get.

Not worth it. I’ve had this thing for over a year and every time I use it, the log on to the camera chimes in my daughters room and wakes her every time. It’s also constantly going offline even when our WiFi works. 👎🏻 fix the bugs. I would not recommend this camera for anyone unless it’s for pets.

App does not work. Why would you develop an app like this that simply doesn’t work? Camera will not stay connected to the network when using with the app. Therefore, the camera is useless...and it’s an excellent camera, just can’t use it with this app. In reading other reviews, at one time I guess the app worked but it definitely doesn’t work any longer.

This app is pitiful. I’m getting so sick and tired of buying high priced equipment and finding out that the app you need to use the equipment (in this case a camera) has trash ads in it and/or they’re trying to Con you into subscribing to a lousy cloud service (that you can’t get rid of). The second thing I hate, they think everyone has an iPhone and they won’t adapt their app to work with an iPad. Update: I wish Apple would allow pictures in these reviews. Today, they did an update to the software and added more ads and a message “activate premium cloud service to remove ads “

Junk. Garbage. Don’t bother. Everything about this app and camera is straight garbage. Lagging. Picture quality. ADS. If you switch from this app to do something else, it’s nearly impossible to get the camera to pull back up. It loads for 2 minutes and then the quality ends up looking like nothing but a scrambled mess. Then you have to buy a subscription to even use half the features. Don’t waste your time

Camera quality is good but video feed cuts out. This camera is great in terms of video quality and I love that I can use the app to move the camera to look where I want it to without having to go into the room and manually reset the position. However. Every single night at exactly 1:04am, the camera goes offline and stays offline until around 8am. I thought that it was my internet at first but I restarted my modem and it didn’t help a tiny bit. I went to reset the camera and same thing, didn’t help even a little. The camera still shuts off every night at 1:04am. This is entirely inconvenient as I use this camera as a baby monitor. I even deleted the camera from my app and re-connected it to my phone app and still nothing. I don’t know if it has to do with the software or hardware in the camera but this is getting ridiculous and I’m about to send the camera back and ask for a refund.

I just bought an iPhone 14. And no longer have connection to my digitcam. I’ve disconnected and reconnected the camera and app and installed the latest software update and nothing works. Which is unfortunate as I have had this camera and app since my first born was 1 yr old. Nothing works. It says it’s loading at 90% but then it says it failed to connect. I am at a loss. Might just get rid of it.

Won’t work. It worked fine for a few days, today it quit connecting, I reset several times, deleted camera, added it again and still won’t load past the 30% mark and gives an error about “can’t connect, try again later”; terrible support, worthless camera at this point, fix issue, otherwise it’s just a paperweight

Cameras fine, cloud is useless. Camera works fine no issues. But the one time I want to go back and see more from an alert I buy the subscription thinking it’ll let me. Which was total bs I buy it and try and it says I don’t have a subscription. I let time go by and then it says I can’t because I don’t have an SD card in the camera. So the “cloud” they advertise is a complete lie. Don’t waste your money on the services they are offering. Just use it as a camera and if you want to look back but your own SD card don’t use the cloud they are offering it is a complete scam.

Notifications not working on IOS devices. I am unable to get the notifications to work on iPhone or iPad. When going to notifications in settings menu the app is not listed there. Please advise how to get working. Other then that the app works great. Like the layout and is very easy to use.

Don’t update - App now has Ads!. They updated the app claiming “bug fixes” but they added a ton of ads! Now the app has full screen ads and if you want to get rid of them you need to subscribe to their cloud services. I have 4 of these cameras so I feel stuck with them but if I had known about the ads I would have never bought these cameras. I use them for baby cams and to have to click through ads to use your own property is absurd. Imagine if Garmin had ads in their app that you had to click through to use their product. They would lose a lot of business and if DigitCam doesn’t fix this, they will too.

Pairing and Settings. My settings option doesn’t pop anything up. So I can’t enable notifications for anything. I also couldn’t get the camera to pair with my phone so my boyfriend after several attempts finally got it to work for his phone and shared it with me but I can’t even get the settings options to pop up! Super disappointed!

Annoying. I use this camera as a baby monitor, I’m not trying to download whatever game you’re advertising or apply for a credit card when I open the app to see my child, I’m trying to see my child. The camera itself is aggravating as well, constantly disconnects and reconnects to my WiFi for no reason and has this loud annoying jingle when it turns on back on/reconnects and often wakes my child up. Really disappointing purchase.

Love it!. This camera works so well! My daughter bought a different one and she can hardly see her son. When my grandson is napping at our house I can see him perfectly!! Best camera! Plus I can move it around

The app went downhill.. I wasn’t a big fan of the app to begin with but I got accustomed to it. Now there are ads? Normally, there are ads in FREE apps so they get you to buy something. There should NOT be any ads for an app I pretty much paid for when purchasing the camera. The ads were just the cherry on top. No longer going to use this camera and app. Ads are ridiculous to a paying customer.

Won’t let two different phones use same camera. I bought this camera and downloaded this app a little over a year ago when my son was born. For the first year it was fine where my wife and both could download the app and use it to see him in his room. Then about a week or so ago the app now only lets just one phone see thru the camera. Even if I add the camera to her phone app it’ll then kick me out of mine. Very frustrating when it worked fine fir a year.

This helped us so much. We activated cloud service and are so glad we did it. Someone broke in to our house and took the camera along. Thanks to the cloud service we would show some footage to police and insurance. That made things a lot easier for us!

Privacy and Security Issues. I've started noticing that every time I open the app it pastes whatever is in my clipboard. It will say "Digit Cam has pasted from Lyndsi's MacBookPro" What purpose could this possibly have?? Also, the camera constantly disconnects and when it reconnects it makes a very loud chime that wakes up my baby. The alerts are useless because they are so far behind. Everything about this app and camera is terrible. I will not be using it anymore.

Ads?! Really?!. I have had this app since December and it is mediocre at best. There is a lag, it glitches, but it works most of the time. It works but I wish it was better. BUTTTTTTT here is the reason I am writing this review. With the most recent update, there are now ads!!! I have to watch ads every time I open the camera to check on my baby. WHY?! I paid for the camera, why do I need to watch stupid ads? I would NOT purchase this camera again if it I knew I would have to watch ads to use it.

Trash. I can’t use the camera I just purchased. It’s always having issues “connecting to WiFi” or loses signal and I have to uninstall the camera from the app and reinstall it in order to reconnect the camera. Then it only works a few more minutes before it loses connection again. My WiFi signal is “excellent“ so I don’t get how it keeps loosing signal. Trash app and wasted money on the camera since I can’t use it without this stupid app.

This camera just keeps getting worse and worse. It randomly disconnects and when it reconnects it’s LOUD. Wakes the baby up every time. I was having trouble with it so I deleted the app and downloaded again. Now I can’t sign in. It keeps giving me a silly error message about inputs. This camera is ridiculous and if I had been smart and read the reviews I would have never bought it. The only reason why it’s 2 stars instead of negative stars is because it was inexpensive compared to the other ones and because it has night vision. Other than that, di yourself a favor and just don’t buy this.

Cloud Server Doesn’t Work. They drive you to purchase the cloud server packs to save any video... which i did, however once you purchase.. the app doesn’t change or let you connect... i went through the process 2x and both times it successfully charged me but gave me none of the features... it’s really sad when developers build so that purchases work flawlessly but don’t ensure their product works as well. it’s trash

Obnoxious Ads!. I had purchased one of the cameras in December to use as a baby monitor. I didn’t like having to have the app open to hear the sound. However, I decided to keep it and use it as a camera since instead of using it as a monitor. After getting used to using the camera to check on my baby and moving the baby to his own room we ordered another one. Having two cameras was working just fine until the last update. Woke up early and got on the app to check on the baby when an ad popped up. Mind you I have the sound on my apps muted so that I don’t wake anyone up when the house is silent. The ad that popped up was so loud and it was a scream. Talk about obnoxious. I’m hoping with enough bad reviews and comments they will fix this otherwise I’ll be finding something else to use. Very disappointed that I thought I had found something great and the ads have ruined it for me.

Worst. This camera has to be the worst out there! Every time I’m in on the camera it’ll work for a few mins and than it’ll try to connect and ends up not connecting at all! It’s very frustrating when I have a sleeping baby in another room and it won’t connect! My internet is good but still won’t connect!

No help or customer service. I was charged for cloud activation twice and it still doesn’t work. And no option to cancel subscription when I’m not even getting the service . Absolutely no customer service information

Ads. We have had this app for awhile now and have never dealt with a single ad for anything. Today I had to sign back in for the first time since we got this and now I have been bombarded with ad after ad. Completely ridiculous that there are any ads at all. A lot of people use this as a baby monitor, as that is one thing it’s advertised as. Also the motion of my son moving is not detected but a small piece of dust flying by the camera is. When my son cries in his room where the monitor is it’s not detected but if he is down they hall making any kind of noise that’s detected. This camera and app are pretty pointless since it just filed with ads and doesn’t do what it’s suppose to. Very disappointed.

Ads are back. Update 2: ads are back Update: they have removed the ads from their app so we did not have to send the camera back. We are now happy with this app. This app forces you to watch video ads before being able to see the video feed of your baby. And this after you’ve bought the camera! Completely unacceptable. The only way to remove these ads so that you can use the camera that you’ve already paid for is to pay an additional $100/year. We are sending the camera back and deleting this awful app.

Horrible. Purchased “subscription” for $180 that was supposed to allow me to store to a cloud and connect multiple cameras. Didn’t work so I tried to redownload it. Charged me $180 again!! and never provided me with the service. There is no way to contact the company through the app, and any attempt to contact the company through this App Store requires you are able to read a different language.

Update. Update: Alerts are now working, though at times delayed, they are now working. Thank you. Please fix the notifications (alerts). They do not work.

Scary privacy issues. I'm deleting this app and throwing away my camera. When you open the app, it takes anything you have copied and sends it to their servers (e.g. if you copy something from somewhere like a password or email address they will take that information). If the developers are bold enough to try to get whatever is in my clipboard, then I do not trust them with a video feed of my child. I'm very surprised Apple allowed this app on the app store. P.S. I'm a software engineer so trust me on this one - I recommend getting your camera refunded if you have that option

Reasonable camera. I’ve had the camera about 6 weeks. Last week it stopped notifying me when there was movement. Is there a fix for this?

Meh. Bought the camera to monitor my house/pet, it never detects motion, constantly turns itself around to face the wall, and doesn’t load. Then, I can’t turn the camera back around. Totally useless. The only pro is that when it actually connects, the picture is good. Delayed but good.

Horrible Camera System. I wanted to try the camera before paying monthly or yearly and with the last up date it went from free 10 second recording to 6 seconds....which in my opinion is the developers trying to get you to buy subscription. No!!!! The camera is not even good. It sometimes will see movement outside but continue to rotate 360 for no reason and I don’t have the sound option on. The 6 second recording doesn’t give you enough time to see anything. It also freezes for no reason and has distortion. Night time camera is even worse. Picture quality for what the 6 second recording shows is horrible. The app is crapy too. Buy a better camera because you will regret purchasing this one. If I could give it “0” stars I would.

Would use only as a supplemental camera. The camera quality is good and responds pretty well; there is the issue of WiFi reliability—I sometimes wont get motion alerts until 10 minutes after I’ve taken the baby out of the room (so if I was depending on this as my only baby monitor, that could have disastrous results)—but it is nice to use as a supplemental camera where I can check in on things at home when I’m out and about. One other issue is the most recent update where they’ve really began to push their ads in the app—you can’t get rid of them unless you go to premium—but as I’ve already paid for the camera, I don’t see why I should have to pay additional to use it hassle free. The ads will actually block the alerts at the bottom of the page with no way to close them, so it’s a bit of a nuisance.

Patience. For the price I really think this is a good buy. I took a bit of patience to get it all set up but it’s been awesome since. Love the motion detection which helped me catch someone who was stealing from us.

Always have a dot on the profile icon.. I always have a red dot on the “profile” icon. I click it. There’s a red dot in the notice section. I click it and there’s nothing there. It’s always there even after I click it. Maybe that’s why most of the cameras that worked on this app, are now using a different app by a different developer.

Horribly loud ding when connection is poor... I am appalled at the obnoxious “ding, ding, ding, ding” song it plays when there is poor wifi connection! It will literally WAKE MY BABY UP!! Better yet, I can hear it through the wall in my own room! Worst feature!!! It also doesn’t work at all of it doesn’t have wifi. Not the best choice for baby monitor.

Was good but now some features not working. When I first started using Digit Cam app for the IPhone I would get screen notifications when the camera detected motion, but since the last update the notifications have stopped working but all the settings are turned on. They need to fix this. Update - the developer is ignoring all requests to fix the issue with the app not sending motion alerts from the camera to the app. I would highly advise not purchasing or doing any kind of business with this company.

It just wants your money. Only 6 seconds of footage review for motion detection at night? You gotta be kidding me until there is an actual incident happens that you want more proof from it. Ridiculous. Buying a camera got forced into getting a premium service is nonsense.

Terrible product. Worst product I’ve ever purchased. If I would have taken the money I used to purchase this product and waded it up and threw it in the street I would have been better off. Do not buy this and if you do, good luck.

Ripoff - $180 down the drain. The cameras are pretty decent. You can’t expect more for the price. They work as advertised. I paid for the upgraded app subscription to include cloud service. I paid for the yearly subscription. It shows up in the app and on my apple subscriptions that I have paid for this. The app still asks me to “upgrade” to be able to use the cloud storage. There is not a help or support feature in the app. The only support available through the App Store links to a foreign webpage that I cannot understand at all.

App support. Need help with the app and when you click on app support it takes you to a third party site that is not in English.

Update the app please!!. Camera seems to work fine but when I open the app it doesn’t connect to the camera anymore. It just keeps buffering even though my internet is working just fine.

Password Reset???. How do I reset the password if I don’t remember it? The only option is to change the password, but you have to know the password to change it.

Cloud Service. My cloud service is not responding. I made sure the subscription was active and it’s still saying I need to buy cloud service. It’s annoying

Ads?. Why are you adding ads onto the camera app? When I’m trying to quickly check on my baby while doing other things I have to stop everything and wait for the ad to stop. Really annoying. If I had just bought the camera I would’ve returned this product.

If I could give it a -0 I would. This app is the worst. All of a sudden you have to deal with ads?! Do yourself a favor don’t purchase their items or use this app. Ohhhhhhh and good luck getting support in English. 👎🏻

They added invasive ads. So now when I get an alert that my child has moved, I have to watch an AD before I can even open the camera to make sure he’s okay. Greedy developers won’t be getting any more of my money/time. I hope someone hacks into your servers and costs you some money.

FIX IT!!. Was loving this app then all the sudden after the update the sound detection setting won’t turn on! I need it to be able to use the camera like a baby monitor like I have been for months! Please fix this.

Camera worked great for awhile. These camera worked great for awhile. We used them as a baby monitor. About two weeks ago the app stopped sending notifications that there was movement or baby crying. Nothing you do fixes this. These are useless now.

Commercial before I can see the baby, really???. I paid for the camera. To have an app that plays commercial with sound at night and for certain time before I can closed it out when I wanted to see a baby really not cool. It’s not like the camera is free. This is messed up.

Baby Cam Trash. This is a terrible camera! Delayed response and randomly restarts or will randomly turn to the wall…Every time we connect another device to it, we have to redo all devices…

Advertising really?!. The camera it’s self isn’t great the app is even worse. Before I can check and see if my child is still sleeping I have to watch a freaking advertisement!

Last update renders cam useless. Do not buy camera associated with this app. Slow laggy response time even with excellent connectivity. App unresponsive. Bad to worse.

No notifications???. How am I supposed to use this as a baby monitor without notifications. There is no option to turn them on in the settings on the app or settings on my iPhone. I could not be more disappointed.

Ads. It was a really good app, but now if you want to do anything on it you have to watch an ad! Bull crap! I got the camera to keep an eye on the kids not to wait for an ad AND THEN see what they are doing. 🙄🙄🙄 will be looking into different cameras that don’t require this app!

Wish I had read the reviews. I wish I had read the reviews about the cloud services before I bought it because I can’t even activate it, I would really like a refund.

Turns on by itself. The camera sometimes turns on by itself. Which is creepy in its own right. But it’s also very loud when it turns on

Hacked. Was good until yesterday. The one in the room for the other kid randomly turned on and when the wife left it turned off. Then had to type password again. Now this morning I need a pin to check the other kid’s camera. BS. We’ve been hacked.

STOLE MONEY!. app was working fine till one day it took my subscription away?? and i renewed it 3 times & they took all my money and still didn’t give me my subscription so now i can’t even use the app!!

Sense this camera updated it no longer works. This camera and app are trash don’t waste your money worked all good till the latest update over it.

Worthless. After the cloud trial period ends; it’s a useless piece of hardware. We don’t need to store video so we wanted to use it as a video monitor. Well, it doesn’t work that way. The product does not work without a subscription. Very disappointing and a waste of money.

Utter Trash. The camera and app might work for a while, if at all. Then, nothing works and it won’t bother updating much less connecting to your phone. I recommend something that works as it is described.

Stopped getting notifications and screen reminders. Worked great for a long time. Everything else works fine except notifications and screen reminders! No customer support swapping out to blink camera system!

App is terrible. My camera is designed to connect to 2.4g internet but the app does not run on my phone when connected 2.4g, so I can’t even set up the camera. 😂😂 literally stupid

No updates. Don’t buy this digital camera. I did 18 months ago. It worked so great I bought another one. Go figure, The cameras started To erratically lock to a wall and fail to reset. Then I was blocked to use the camera unless I purchased their year/monthly subscription. Now they are in the trash. Victor

App is trash. The app lags really bad it shows me 10 seconds after something has happened. And the camera randomly turns off and on

ridiculously expensive. don't waste your money , you'll need to spend a lot to enjoy your camera , it will only show 6 seconds of the motion detected , i tried using it as a baby monitor , but i wouldn't get the notifications until 3-5 mins later it detected a movement , the quality of the camera it's not bad but the app itself it's horrible

Just broken. Done every single requirement to create a password, tried over and over for 40 minutes, created crazy long passwords with Uppercase, lowercase, used numbers, and symbols. Nothing worked. Very upset. Please fix this because is currently useless. Don’t get this!

No sound. Can’t hear anything when viewing. Very good picture quality tho

Security issues. Why is the app reading from my clipboard when I open the app? What feature is it supposed to provide? This is really concerning in terms of privacy and security.

Continuous disconnection. The connection issue is a huge problem. It is not the internet service. I have the memory card set up so its not a Cloud issue. Seems pointless to have when the connection isn’t connecting. Very disappointed

Uncomfortable. I got this as a baby shower gift to use as a baby monitor, cool, works well. But occasionally the camera will be moved and pointed at not the crib. One morning I woke up and it was pointed directly at me in my bed.

Terrible update. Latest update is horrible there are no notifications. What is the point of this being a baby monitor if there are no notifications smh. Please fix this big problem.

Will not connect to WiFi. After multiple attempts, I still can’t get it to connect to the WiFi. Super frustrating
