Can’t get a simple app to work properly. Biggest and most expensive service provider, yet they can’t get a simple app to work properly without issues. On top of that they have 25 different types of logins, business, wireless, residential, mysite, myphone, etc etc. Get your stuff together. Then it takes customer service 1-3 days to call you back, even as a business account. Unreal.

Not very good. Calls have a 2 second lag and the audio quality is not very good. Outbound calls won’t initiate on the first try. Always have to try 2-3 times.

Pretty Terrible. In theory, I love this app. I love being able to see who voice messages are from (helpful for clients who hang up once recording starts or who butt dial us), and to be able to quickly and easily save, delete, and mark them as new. Outgoing calls are awful on the app. I could have full service and wifi, and the call drops after one ring- nearly every call. When I do get through, I get constant “poor connection” warnings (again despite full service and wifi). It recently told me I’ve been logged in too long and need to log out. Now I can’t get back in, even with the right credentials, and there is no “forgot your password” option. Fun.

Voicemail Glitch. Since the last update that was supposed to fix bugs, I now get a constant notification every 5 min that I have a voicemail message even though I don’t. Very annoying. Fix your app please.

Horrible App. This app does not work. It’s very hit or miss, I can only guess that I’ve lost thousands in revenue over missed calls because the app doesn’t work. Verizon, your app as well as your service are trash.

Not intuitive but works. Had a similar problem to everyone else. The app wasn’t doing what it was suppose to. I ended up getting ahold of tech support and they helped me through the process, and found the solution. It is a matter of going into the settings online for your business account and checking a box. The app works great when you get it all set up. Wish it was a little more intuitive to set up but give them a call!

App doesn’t work anymore. I’ve been using Verizon business voice for half a year and the phone app started out good but as of 09/30/2023 I can no longer login to my account. I’ve tried resetting my password and contact Verizon but nothing.

Literal TRASH. This app is horrible. The entire service is terrible. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. The app drops calls, if it even picks up a call. None of the other users we’ve set up can reset their passwords. When a call does connect, the connection is spotty at best. Do not disturb mode is also disabled for the app. Even when on, a call through the app will ring. Really would recommend going with another service. We’d love to switch to another provider but our phone number is to well known to change numbers.

Terrible. I cannot paste my 25 digit password… Terrible design the old app never worked either… Could this be a multibillion-dollar corporation?

Rings all the time and cannot answer. This app is horrible. It is universally bad on iOS and Android. My husband and I can not answer any calls. The will ring 5-20 times one failed call after another. It was cheaper for me to get the digital voice and internet vs just internet. That saved $3 a month and I swear this app makes me reconsider the savings. If I did not occasionally get an important voicemail I would just uninstall this garbage.

Clunky. APP goes blank every day. Have to delete and download again to make it functional. Need to search in the APP for the call forwarding feature. I’m always sorry when I let Verizon sales people talk me into making a change. Scary when your business depends upon the phone.

Total Failure and Unreliable!. Incoming calls are dropped the moment you try to pick them up! What a shame for a company as big as Verizon to not be able to fix this app or provide an alternative app that is reliable and works as expected. I made the mistake of signing up for the two-year agreement.

This app needs help. I get logged out all the time and then have a hard time logging back in and It dropped constantly drops calls.

Fail - app crashes as soon as you open it. App closes as soon as you open it. Using iPhone 6 and iOS 11. Should work according to the details. Complete fail.

Unreliable. Outgoing calls are fine, incoming work 20-30% of the time.

Voicemail access is a joke. So, you can listen to voicemails on a web page on a computer, but the app can only do it by dialing your number and having to do it normal call? What’s the point? You might as well have just not added voicemail as an option in the app

Bait & Switch. I began using the app in June and it worked as advertised. One month later, it works less than 25% of the time. I’m extremely disappointed. I spent one hour on the phone this week with “tech support,” and it was someone reading from a manual or the like, no expertise whatsoever. After 45 minutes of fumbling through steps I’d already taken, I voiced my frustration and asked to speak with next level support and was placed on hold for 15 minutes. After 60 minutes on the phone and no progress, I hanged up. Will I receive any follow up? It makes me wonder.

Another instance of Verizon dropping the ball. I don’t understand. We’re talking about one of the biggest companies in the country that is failing to create an app that just ports a phone number. All was well the day the service was first demoed but it has been down hill from there. And don’t even get me started about trying to get a competent tech rep, supervisor, manager or billing specialist to respond to phone calls or messages. Unfortunately, you have two options for internet and phone in Buffalo, and the other isn’t any better.

It just rings.. It just rings. Receiving a call at our office number makes the iPhone app ringing forever, picking up the call through the office phone does not make it stop. Oh, making a phone call is impossible from the App. Useless.

Absolute Dumpster Fire. Imagine not being able to access any voicemails. Imagine not being able to turn off call forwarding without signing entirely out of the app. Imagine countless crashes at the most basic of tasks. Imagine no longer! Verizon Business Digital has this and so much more.

Waste of time. I thought that this would be a great app to have in my shop to use my mobile phone as my business line while on the shop floor. It does not work at all I do not understand why Verizon has put such a useless app out and market it like it is something good. It was not worth the 5 min spent on trying to get it to work as intended.

Need fingerprint recognition. I like this version, sound quality is better. Problem was the simultaneous ringing, couldn’t control it, only way to silence, I found was to log out of the app. Okay, then have to sign back in, would be great if I could use fingerprint scan, hint, hint!! Thanks

Important Setup Read First. Changing my review from 1 star to 5 stars after figuring out how to properly set this up. In order to enable the app, you have to go to the BD site admin page (not myphone) and go to the ‘sharing’ tab. Then select the line you want to enable mobile connect on. MAKE SURE TO CHECK THE BOX THAT SAYS MOBILECONNECT. It is not the default. If that user then logs into the app it will work. Verizon could spell this out more clearly so I didn’t have to call customer service to figure this out but it does work once you do this.

Terrible app. I migrated to Verizon Business Digital service for my office in March and I was shocked at how primitive the mobile app is. I’ve been using the app since then but it constantly does not work properly. The biggest issue is the inability to make calls. Imagine that? A mobile app for Verizon that you can’t make calls? It’s absurd. I’m being told by tech support that my complaints are not uncommon. It’s time that Verizon redesigns the app and greatly improves it functionality.

Doesnt work. Agree with rest of reviews, rarely works. Always glitching, calls dont come through, or shows a call is coming through when its not. Spend hours with tech support but nothing works.

Verizon=waste of time. This app is completely useless. Uses you mobile phone number not your business line. Before you release an app ...TEST IT!

Terrible app from a tech company. I waited to write this review because I wanted to give this app a chance but it’s just like the other reviewers said, absolutely atrocious. Drops calls, dial pad blanks out while trying call, it’s terrible. You expect more from a company whose core business is technology.

Still doesn’t work for iOS. Been waiting roughly four months for an update. Can only answer 1/4 calls on iOS as app has problems. Talked to software guy in Verizon they are aware and say it’s Apple not allowing them to update app. Getting a little out of control. Verizon won’t let you out of your contract because they say it’s just a “add on”. Please fix this.

App crashes at any moment!. Great idea for Verizon to have this app. Horrible service. App crashes at any given moment and calls always have poor connection even if you have service on your device. Really wish they would fix these issues.

Excellent App. I read many reviewers expressing dissatisfaction about the app. The app works great and has many features. Though, you have to log into “business digital.verizon. Com to configure it before you attempt to use it. Hope this helps.

WORST APP EVER!!!. Since working from home during quarantine I’ve had to call support multiple times because the app fails to work properly. The app will close when trying to answer calls and unable to make out going calls. They app will just close on you. Every time I call support o have to log out log back in, delete the app from my phone and re download. Every time the support contact is unsure what to do and has to ask someone else. Every time they ask for my password so they can log in on their device to see what the problem is. One time the support guy somehow saved his number in our portal SO ALL OUR BUSINESS CALLS WERE GOING TO HIS PERSONAL AND WIFES CELL PHONE. this went on for a week and he admitted that they received 20-30 calls before realizing it was our office!!! I work in a doctors office and receiving patient phone calls is very important!! This is unbelievable that VERIZON (supposedly one of the best phone companies) is unable to have an app that works properly and employees who know what’s going on. Every time I call they would say there is no ticket created for support to follow up. Why do I always spend about 3-4hours on the phone with support at least once a week if not more. Another guy said it’s because I have an iPhone and it works on a droid. Ok I just got a brand new iPhone 11 from Verizon a month ago so my phone is working fine. Multiple times they have told me it’s my phone and that answer is unacceptable!! THE WORST APP EVER. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THE APP FOR VERIZON.

Doesn’t work with 6s on 12.1. Just installed and when I try to open just get a blank black screen. Restarted phone and erased and reloaded but it doesn’t work. Good work Verizon. Update- I upgraded to iOS 13.7 and still does not work.

Horrible!. Waited 6 months with crappy service for an update that did it fix anything. App says POOR CONNECTION no matter what I do. Tech support is horrible, and I finally had to move to a different service to get my business phone line to work properly. STAY AWAY!!

So many issues. You’d expect a company like Verizon to have a decent app/software developers... Aside from how buggy it is (won’t sign you in even with the right credentials) I’m now receiving my Office calls on my personal cellphone EVEN AFTER I DELETED THE APP!!!! I can’t get it to stop and it is SO aggravating.

Calls keep dropping. I get a call through this app, and after 2 rings the call drops even before I pick up. Or when I pick up, the call drops. The message is “Call terminated.” I tested by calling using my own phone, and after 2 rings, the call drops but on my phone, is still ringing. So annoying that this happens so often. I have already reset the network settings. Basically paying for something that doesn’t work.

The worst mobile app I ever see.. Simple suggestion to everyone; just do not use that app. Complete disaster.

Complete fail. This is a complete fail. Installed but couldn’t call as the business number. It showed up as my cell phone number. Tried to uninstall and reinstall in order to set up proper feature but the second time round it won’t let me log in any more. What waste of effort.

Not a good app. This app has been getting bad reviews for a couple of years now, leading me to believe that 1. Verizon doesn’t care and 2. isn’t going to fix it. It works some days, on most days when I call a client it rings into their line and immediately ends the call. If I’m on the phone with a client, there are big gaps where I can’t hear them. My clients end up justifiably angry with me. These are not new complaints, I can read the old reviews and it’s an ongoing problem. Mystifying that it’s not been fixed. The touting of this app really influenced our decision to go with Verizon.
