Poorly Written App - Crashes. After 24 hours, the app failed to work. Error message said “Hearing Aid Data Error - the app is unable to read data from your hearing aids. Please contact your hearing aid professional.” After touching OK - the app crashes completely. My hearing aid dispenser (Costco) is completely flummoxed. The only suggestion is to delete the hearing aids from Bluetooth, and delete the app, then reboot and start over. But, after 3 complete cycles of starting over, it still won’t exchange data and crashes. The problem is not the hearing aids —. They work, and pair properly. The problem is a poorly written app.

Aids wont connect to the app. This app is worthless. The app will not connect to the aids despite multiple on off sessions. Resetting the phone. Power on power off the phone. Power on power off the aids. Re set re set. They are connected to Bluetooth fine. So can answer phone, listen to music - like earbuds. Took numerous tries to get them to connect at the store - with no help from the audiologist who had run out of time to work with me and kept blaming failure on my phone. Finally the store manager, the hearing receptionist and i got it connected and i left. Haven’t been able to connect since. So i don’t really know what the app does. For me nothing. I will be returning the aids. They say these are from Phonak. I have had the expensive Phonak aids from a private source. They worked great but the service provider was too far from my home. The app was much better. This app Is AWFUL

Incredibly disappointing. I was thrilled when I got my KS10 hearing aids, but this app leaves so much to be desired! From random program changes to the very narrow feature set to the fact that there isn't support for the Apple watch it's overall not terribly useful. Giving the app a serious UI overhaul and presenting the available programs and sound options front and center would go a long way toward improving the ux with this line of hearing aids. The app shouldn't require an internet connection to use - and it should more clearly disclose what data is being sent! It makes it impossible to change some settings if I'm in an area without connectivity. If the app requires connectivity, then there should be an iOS widget to perform settings changes that does not require a connection to the internet.

New and improved!. I had the same feelings the other reviewers had until I tried the updated version. Wow, what an improvement. I never write reviews but I had to let everyone know how much the app has changed. Everything works like a charm. It used to take 45 seconds, if at all, before it recognized the aids. Now it’s almost instant. Programming is so much easier and nicer. Hat’s off to the team!

Lots to like with this App. UPDATE: 10/20 My updated app connected automatically( my iOS had just been updated also). I was going to complain about the loss of customized programs but thought I should READ through the information first. I did find that it should be available so I just deleted the app and downloaded it. I did have to turn off the aids to reset them. And the customized setting is there. I’m still very happy with this app for been using this app for approximately 5 months now and still give it 4 Stars Original Review:I was a little worried because it wasn’t the original Phonks app but it is very easy to use and enables you to set up your own customized settings. I’ve done this on other Kirkland hearing aids apps but this app actually keeps them until you delete them. It keeps the original settings set up by your hearing aids professional so don’t worry about trying it customize them. I also like being able to do the remote adjustments if needed. Nothing is ever “perfect” but this is a very good app and it looks like they try to keep updates fairly often which is a good sign.

Good but lots more needed. App works well but most every other app on my phone when used, resets the “Program” to Automatic. This is the default. What good is developing custom programs if anytime a text message or phone call or email comes in, it resets the hearing aids to Automatic? The ability to create custom programs is great. Make it possible to change the default to any custom programs you want. Then, when a text, call, email, whatever interrupts the program, it returns to the custom program set as default. This is still a huge improvement on standard settings. Thanks.

Bluetooth keeps on disconnecting. Two problems. 1) first time i turn on app it takes around 20-30 second to connect. That is fine. But after that each time i go to the app to say make an adjustment to the volume level or change focus or something it spins as if it is trying to connect again. Apprently other Phonak user (Phonak makes the Kirkland 10.0) complain of the same. 2) each tiem a notification comes on my iPhione there is a beep in my hearing aid and whatever is been streamed is lost for a few seconds. The only way to stop those annoying beeps and lose the sound coming into my hearing aid (either via streaming of tv connector or what i am hearing from the hearing aid's microphone) is lost for a few. seconds. Absolutely annoying. Only way around is to turn of bluetooth on my home. Again Phonak uses using this or their version of the APP are complaining of the same. Given the 2K I paid for Kirkland 10.0 and the 4K-6k folks are paying for Phonak, the above 2 problems are unacceptable after so many years since the release of Phonak's products.

FREE PHONAK APP IS BETTER for Costco Hearing Aids. After reading another review, I deleted this dreadful app and installed the free Phonac app (“myPhonak”, by Sonova AG). The myPhonak app connects more reliably and has better controls. Sonova/Phonak makes the K.9 and some other Costco hearing aids. The Phonak app suggests creating a Phonak account during installation, but I skipped doing that and the Phonak app works fine without an account. The Costco hearing aids are excellent, but this app definitely isn’t. This app fails to connect most of the time, even after a fresh reboot, with or without CarPlay or other Bluetooth devices active. I highly recommend the Costco hearing aids and the myPhonak app, but this app is useless.

Update. Within the last 24 hours I’ve experienced an issue where the audio makes me sound like I’m in a tunnel to someone when I’m talking. I can hear them just fine but they have trouble every time I call them. I have updated to the iOS 16.5 that was just released and reinstalled the app just to make sure there was no updated issues with that. There’s never a problem with incoming calls, just when I’m the one calling out. This problem seemed to occur once in a blue moon before but now it’s every outgoing phone call, but just since (what seems like) the app updated yesterday. Please help!

Looking Forward to the Next Update. The version 3.0.3 update was a welcome improvement. The problem with always changing to the Automatic Program after bluetooth notifications appears to have been fixed. Only some of the problems with volume levels and saved settings 'not sticking' were successfully addressed (so far, I hope). The long connection time doesn't appear to have been addressed in any way. It should also be possible for the hearing aids to stay connected as long as the phone is powered on and in range. (They already stay connected the whole time they are in the charging case. What gives?) This will be an extremely useful app once it gets to be release quality, but for now my opinion is it is 'considerably better than nothing'. This is a *big improvement* over the last version which was 'nearly worthless'. I anxiously await the next update.

Disappointing. The blue tooth app keeps going in and out. I change the volume to the tone and then it resets and disconnects. So I have to restart all while I’m trying to talk to someone important in a business conversation. It is very distracting. I bought the hearing aids tohelp in meetings etc. So I keep going back to get adjustments they update them and now there so loud and the AP will turn them down so I save and all is dropped and disconnects the App and the blue tooth and I’m back to square one. You need to offer a better app with more options and personal control and frequency adjustment settings.

Sorry, to the developers, this app is buggy.. I can’t even figure out what’s going wrong. My phone either loads the hearing aids as two separate devices, or loads them both as one device. If it loves them as one device then the app works to control parameters of the hearing aids, but then the hearing aids don’t work with phone calls. If you allow Bluetooth settings to load both hearing aids as one device then the phone functions work fine, but the easy line remote app can no longer discover the hearing aids, and consequently can’t control them. It’s really maddening. I have deleted and reinstalled the app, and I have turn Bluetooth on and off, and deleted the device, or devices trying every combination I could think of and I haven’t found one yet that works for everything. I am not an idiot. I successfully troubleshoot and fix all kinds of problems on all of my computers, iPads, and iPhone. I wish there was an answer to this software, or an alternative software to use with my Costco, Kirkland signature 10 hearing aids.

Right Idea but not super helpful. I was excited to get my bluetooth hearing aids in order to connect to my phone. However, there isn’t a way to choose when they’re connected. I don’t want/need it for every phone call and the connection is spotty if the phone isn’t close to them. I have also had to make sure that all apps on my phone are closed, otherwise it will randomly connect, making the things I want/need to hear more difficult. (It also randomly disconnects the bluetooth in my car and seems to “fight” with other bluetooth devices.) Hopefully some improvements will be in the works.

Worst hearing aid software I have used. It is nearly impossible to get the app to recognize that the hearing aids are paired. If successfully paired, the ability to raise and lower volume levels is the maximum capability of the app. Creating your own programs for your hearing aids is not available. Support for the app is abysmal. I have worn hearing aids for 22 years and have utilized streaming apps for the last 15 years or so. This is the absolute worst hearing aid streaming app that I have ever encountered. I am definitely very unhappy & considering return of the hearing aids for a brand with a more reliable streaming platform.

Hardly an App at all. I just loaded the new 10/22 version of this app because I lost connectivity to the old version. I went to Kirkland website only to find out that they just released a brand new version. Thank heaven I thought, only because the previous version was awful. We folks, don’t get your self excited about the newest version. For starters, I have been trying to pair my 10.0 to the new app. It’s been an hour now and I’ve given up. This version doesn’t work at all and if the developers had a brain, they would quickly get it fixed. How do you go from bad to worse? I love my hearing aids but the software that supports them is beyond bad. Stay away from this newest version. You’ll just be furious

Useless app. Like many of the other reviewers, I have major issues with this app. When making adjustments to the aids through the app the aids switch back to the automatic settings constantly. This is unacceptable in situations where adjustments are needed such as meetings where hearing well is necessary. If this was fixed the app would be the best I’ve ever had (this will be my fifth pair of hearing aids with an app). But as the app is now with no immediate fixes or insight from the developer as to whether the app will be fixed I simply must return and buy a different pair. Please fix!

Frustrating app. I’m not sure why a developer would release an app that has so many bugs in it. It is clearly unfinished. What surprises me further is that Costco would allow this to be paired with their hearing aids. The devices themselves are great!! This app is a failure. My hearing aids seem just as confused as I am with regard to what they are listening to. The devices turn on and off, lose pairing with the app and that means zero control over the devices. I had to remove this from my phone in order to use the hearing aids. I’ve paired and repaired, deleted and reinstalled the app, made sure my software for my phone is up to date and still this app creates chaos with the devices. I would recommend not using this app until someone with common sense finishes the app and re-releases a new version.

Broken with iPhone 15/iOS 17. Had a working setup with KS 10 model with old phone on iOS 16. Had 3 Bluetooth connections, a “L” and “R” for this app to control the settings and a “Hearing Aid” for apps to use as a speaker. After the upgrades, I only have the “Hearing Aid” connection, meaning Easy Line Remote is useless. I’ve tried various combinations of starting the phone, Bluetooth and the Hearing aids with no luck. I downloaded the Phonak app, which said it could connect to the “L” and “R” hearing aids, so basic connectivity is possible. Update: removing and re-installing the app established necessary “L” and “R” connections.

First day, fine. Second day, Nada!. I am VERY happy with my new Kirkland model 9 hearing aids. I was eager to get the app running and use the Bluetooth link. All was well in multiple uses yesterday. Today, however, after repeatedly rebooting the iPhone, turning Bluetooth off and on and off and on, and deleting and then reloading this app, nothing happens! Well, not quite… I do get a little circular arrow saying "Searching…" Surely the fine Swiss engineers who gave us these excellent hearinh instruments can either invent, perfect, or subcontract out to some reliable programmers an app that will work. Costco/Kirkland should get on the case and not let their products be degraded by this one. So for now, until there's a successful upgrade, I'll just get used to reaching behind my ear and pressing the buttons to change the volume. That's not the end of the world, but this app is getting a low rating for me for now

Needs Discreet “no cell-phones” environments Interface Skin Choices. Today the app ONLY has a black text with white background and needs other choices like Black background with white text so that the app can be opened & settings can be adjusted while being accessed in “no-cell phones please” environments like movie theaters, church, public meeting places, etc. I should be able to choose screen color schemes and easily change them.

This App subtracts value from great Hearing Aids. First, the good part: I’ve had my Costco Signature 9.0 hearing aids for 6 months. These hearing aids, made by Phonak, are fantastic! For example, the quality of Music is so much better that it is now actually a pleasure to listen. Costco Sales & Support (Indianapolis, Michigan Rd) have been wonderful. That said, this App, presumably also by Phonak, is nowhere near the caliber of the hearing aids. I read about 30 reviews and saw most of them were 1 or 2 stars. What especially troubles me, is that there is not a single developer response to any of these complaints. Besides getting Phonak to fix all the Bluetooth connection issues reported in those reviews, I would like to have: 1. an Apple Watch version of the App. 2. In the main iPhone App version, I would like quicker access to the “balance“ control which is the main use I have for the App. Takes too long to get there now. BTW, my understanding is that the Bluetooth connection is to the right hearing aid. The left hearing aid is listed as “unconnected” in my iPhone X’s list of Bluetooth devices. The right hearing aid is listed twice with only one of them “connected“. Mine works fine that way.

First time user of this app. Just picked up my new hearing aids yesterday and I have to say this app will save me the cost of buying the tv connect device. I set the remote setting of this app to tv and never had to turn up the volume on the tv or the aids. The Bluetooth connection was seamless but the volume of notifications is loud (startled the crap out of me the first time) so I am still learning to adjust things 😉

App software the worst.. It works when it wants to. I delete the app, restart the iPhone, make sure noting is connected to interfere with the app, reload the app from Apple store and then restart the hearing aids. Sometimes it works and other times it doesn’t. This is a daily procedure and sometimes up to 6 times a day. Sometimes it never works. The problem is I can never count on hearing when I get a phone call. It doesn’t look as if anyone else has better luck than I do. Please get software engineering to work on hearing aid application.

If you aren’t connected to the internet the ap won’t work!. It seems absolutely bizarre to me that when you don’t have an internet connection the app won’t connect to hearing aids. I concur that most of us are constantly “connected”. Sometimes, though, like in huge stretches of Wyoming or not so isolated fishing streams in Colorado you can’t use this app to change programs or change the volume on connected hearing aids. It simply reports that there is no internet connection. I can understand needing an internet connection for downloading the app or using the “remote programming” capability of the hearing aids. Please explain why the app needs more than just phone Bluetooth to connect and talk to the hearing aids or fix this piece of stupid.

Does not work. Bought Costco Kirkland 10.0 aids. My second set of aids, the first an experiment from an online seller. Do not recommend the online approach as setup is critical until they furnish an app with all the abilities needed. This app does not work well with Kirkland. The app allows creating custom programs. Unfortunately, many different interruptions result in the program switching back to the “default “ automatic program. This means you cannot select any audio changes that stay in effect, as they constantly get interrupted and revert to the default. This means the app is worthless. I am returning the aids and the totally worthless TV streamer which does nothing. I am keeping the original online product until something comes along that actually works.

Some people should not attempt to program.. What an embarrassment for Costco and Phonak. Quality instruments connected to a sub-sub-sub-par application. I can't even figure out all the ways this app frustrates me. First of all, 96% of the time when I open the app I must wait 10 seconds or MORE for the app to connect with the instruments. What in the world is up with that. Oh, probably, blame it on Apple. But wait Resound had that figured out. So your lame blame game doesn't fly. Release 6 update: Looking for a reason for return these hearing aids to Costco. Well that was a significant jump in revisions. After 8 months finally a new release. With lots of new features. They all seem nice but my MAIN complaint has not been addressed. 96% of the time when I open the app I must wait 10 seconds or MORE for the app to connect with the instruments. Furthermore you now want to connect with My health data. WHY? This is a hearing aid app! I can see NO valid reason to allow incompetent programmers access to VERY private data.

The app severely deminishes the capability of the hearing aids. It appears that the K10 hearing aids have a lot of capability, but the limitations and failures of the app (even with the May 2021 update) take almost all of that away. While there are customizable adjustments and programs, the app seems to change back to the preset Automatic (at least) everytime you touch your cell phone - and maybe just at other random times. There is no indication to the wearer, other than hearing changes, that the app has defaulted to the Automatic program. To try to minimize these uncommanded, seemingly random, program changes, I've unconnected the separate Bluetooth connection that ties my iPhone to the right hearing aid for phone calls, music and other audio. I think that helps some, but not much. Too bad, unless the app is fixed, I'll probably just go back to my 6 year old hearing aids.

Basic, works.. All this app does is control volume, connect by Bluetooth. Don't expect it to do any thing else. If you happen to have it open when the battery is low, it will tell you besides the hearing aid beeps. I haven't had any trouble with the app. Interestingly, the app will make a connection when the iPhone (8) BT setting shows one is not connected but that's how Bluetooth works. It connects to the right one and that sends sound to left. Stereo headphones are the same. Has worked all the time for me. Does mute, volume control, period. Have not had them block connection to car BT from phone or any other BT connection. I use BT a lot at home. BTW app not from Phonak. Have been using app & 9.0 aids for 8 months and all this is still true. Also to dismiss safety notice, just hit return arrow. FYI I'm using iOS 14.1 with no problems. Update with iPhone 12: cannot get it to download which usually means it’s incomparable although I see another w/ iPhone 12 has it. Was working as above until my new phone. UPDATE (10 Sep 2021): still have 9.0 but on advice from audiologist at Costco switched to myPhonak app which works wonderfully. After app update, app status at previous setting even after opening aides, putting in case overnight. None of other problems mentioned in reviews here. BT connection flawless. Still using iPhone 12, iOs 14.7. Do yourself a favor: SWITCH APPS!

not always working. Sometimes they hook up, sometimes they don’t. They never charge to the full level. Some days, like yesterday, I can barely hear at all. When a phone call comes it is so full of static it is impossible to understand the speaker. Not very happy and Costco doesn't seem to be able to make them work any better. I was in Switzerland and went to an Audiologist in Bern to try to get them adjusted. It was some help but soon went back to normal of not being able to hear conversations unless the speaker us durectly facing me and atckise range.

Great Upgrade!!. I was using the previous version that the Costco audiologist installed on my phone for a couple of weeks and was ready to return the HA’s and delete the app, I was so frustrated. Fast forward to the 6.2.2 upgrade 10/22. What a difference! I could now make adjustments that actually worked. Keeping my KS10’s, at least for now. I’m a bit worried about the charging issue.

Disappointing. Version 6.2.3 is worse than the prior version. Often indicates it is unable to connect via Bluetooth on iPhone while Bluetooth menu says connected. So unable to adjust settings. When email or text msg received or calendar appointment notice it somehow interrupts the hearing aids and makes them momentarily louder. I have deleted and reinstalled app several times. I have not had any of these problems with other hearing aids and their app.

Terrible. Never have I used an app whose creators are so insensitive to their users’ usage patterns and simply ignore the feedback they receive from the users. Until now. The app asks me the same questions every time I open it, wasting my time and ensuring that I don’t read the prompts. Also, 100% of the time I use the app is to set the correct blend between tv input and external sounds so that the tv sound doesn’t make me deafer. Why can’t the app remember my settings that I’ve already set 5000 times? Why can’t the app remember the way I answered the questions the last 5000 times I opened the app? The changes needed to make the app usable are so small. The app is nearly unusable as is which is unfortunate because it’s the only way to do what we need done adjusting our aids. It’s nearly unusable, but we have no choice but to use it. Do better. Be better.

Works Great for Me. This app works rock solid on my iPhone 12. The main purpose of the app is to allow you to adjust the volume of the aids and check battery status. There are other options to adjust the various programs for TV, Restaurants or custom settings. I don’t hear much difference when I do make custom settings but everything works very well. It’s clear to me many of the negative reviews are from people who do not know how to operate the app, their phone, or Bluetooth. Bluetooth in particular is very tricky and erratic on many devices. I would suggest giving this app a try before dismissing it due to the negative reviews.

Overall not very functional. I’ve tried do use this application for almost a year now with my iPhone XR. It’s impossible to put in new programs and actually get them to save. I have to go into Center to get any and all adjustments. Turning streaming on and off isn’t easy as you can only do it when you’re, say, on a phone call: that’s the only time that the buttons work. It’s probably the least intuitive application I’ve used on an Apple phone and I’ve used them for decades. The hearing aids are decent but basic as you can’t program them.

Horrible new app. First, the original easy line app that i have been using was automatically replaced by this new version when i opened my phone. The new version is hopeless. My original setting on my k-10 bluetooth hearing aids were deleted! Why? Now trying to reset the hearing aids i find that when i try to update the reset options revert to the default every time. What is wrong with your beta testing? You should not initiate a change without at least a 95% efficiency. And why was their not an option to retain the old app that actually works? Disgusted!

I can't get it to work at my gym. I have hearing aids from Costco (made by Phonak) and they supplied a link to the Easy Line Remote app. I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max phone. I used the app to create a setting that I can use to listen to songs on a playlist while I am riding a bike at my gym. I set the ambient sounds to a low level to reduce all the gym noise. The app reduces the background sounds - But when I hit Play on the music app the gym noises overwhelm my hearing aids and the Easy Line settings fail .... Nothing that I have tried can fix this problem. It is a total failure to me ....

Suggestions on volume Control on iPhone.. Just got my hearing aids and download this app. In order to adjust the volume I have to wake up my iphone in order to have the app on the screen to slide the Volume button on the app. Then in a few seconds my phone goes to sleep and I have to wake me up again in order to use the app in church very irritating. Suggestion on my phone if you slide your finger down on the right hand side you get a screen that you have things that you need quickly. I was able to add the hearing to that screen but it will not control the volume. On that screen when I touch the little ear icon. This statement is shown: ( live listening Unavailable for current route ) Can this be fixed. If this could happen you would not have to open your phone you could just slide your finger on the right side and you’ll see the ear which should bring up your app. That would be great can you direct me to someone banging tell me what to do. thanks

Worked great until the “upgrade”. This WAS a nice, simple, functional app that allowed me to adjust volume and balance and set up profiles for different uses (e.g. music, noisy environments). Happy user for several years. But today (mid-May 2023), I downloaded the “upgraded” version. It now has all kinds of bells & whistles — even tracking users’ steps! What it no longer has is … the ability to connect to my hearing aids. That’s right; it does all kinds of new stuff, but it will no longer perform the most fundamental function it was designed for. I’ve double checked my Bluetooth connection, turned the phone off and back on, opened and closed my hearing aids, read every “help” feature I could find, tried everything again and again … and nothing. Sonova has “improved” its app to the point of completely breaking it. Typical tech folly.

New Version 3.03. Version 3.03 is a good improvement on the previous one that so many complained about. They seem to have better control over the Bluetooth and memory issues. I’m still struggling with trying to control the volume of each side independently AND remember it. Also, for me, the dynamic setting was much, much more desirable than the new contrast slider. It’s harsh and totally different than dynamic. Why would you make such a drastic change when I didn’t see anyone asking for it?

The app still doesn’t work. It’s been over a year since I purchased my hearing aids from Costco. The app did not work properly then and still doesn’t work after this last update. Recent of a text, email or any other movement on the phone reverts the setting back to the default setting. Shame on Phonak and its parent company. How can they be so incompetent. Dubbing millions of users into buying their products and trying to use the app. I will be forwarding a copy of this review to Costco and hope they will use there influence with Phonak.

Pairing is tricky. When the app asks you to pair the hearing aids, you have to do both of them at the same time. This means you have to turn both off at the same time and turn them both back on at the same time so both left and right are discovered independently and paired individually. If you only get one paired, then you have to uninstall the app and start over. Once you get both paired, you can gain access to the independent volume controls and the advanced functions.

How can such good hearing aids have such a bad app. I really like my hearing aids from Costco; however, the accompanying app is useless. Bluetooth connection is spotty at best, and the app never opens up in the preferred state — it defaults to “automatic” always — not my preferred custom app. Moreover, when I contacted customer service, their response was to make an appointment with the dispensing tech so we could watch a video together. Whaaaat? How arrogant for them to presume that mere mortals cannot comprehend a video highlighting features of their app without the guidance of a professional. If it is that complex, then I submit that it was written by incompetent software developers. Bottom line: I have three more months on my trial period, and I am leaning heavily towards returning the hearing aids for a refund.

Awesome!. Great price, great service from COSTCO. I can finally hear! (Don’t ever buy hearing aids online without a heating test and custom fitting!) The app could be better. It keeps switching back to automatic. I’m a truck driver and it’s very frustrating to have it switch to automatic and start picking up all the road noise. I finally checked out the comments on the PHONAK app. Go there for help and guidelines (like turning off all the alert sounds on your iPhone) and they say the developers are working on it. It would be nice if they would respond on this app as well.

Changing my review. Initially i was really upset with this update and got frustrated with it. After putting my hearing aids in the charger and using them again it worked fine. If i could make a suggestion, it would be a notification or popup when the devices do not connect with the app to suggest resetting them by docking them in the charger and putting them back on. One thing i would love for this app is a widget to add to my home screen so i can change settings without needing to open the app every time.

Poor app supporting good heating aids. I bought my Costco Kirkland signature hearing aids a week ago and so far the experience with the hearing aids has been good. The easy line app is a completely different story though. Firstly, it’s a task having to connect the HAs with the app. Every time either the phone or the HAs need to be restarted. Secondly, the sound settings keep getting rebooted I wonder if Sonova purposefully designed the app to be buggy to drive more traction towards their own branded earphones rather than costcos

This app is so bad that I am returning the Costco hearing aid.. This app is so bad I am returning the Costco hearing aid. The hearing aid itself has slightly better sound quality than the Philips loaner I had for 2 weeks, but the hearing aid is too loud and since the hardware switches cannot reduce the sound level enough for driving or playing my nylon string guitar, I depend on the software, but it crashes EVERY time I try. Also, the app COMPLETELY turns off the hearing aid EVERY time the phone does anything. A text, an email, a tweet, a Reddit post, typing text into a search field, using the calculator, and every time a cat walks in front of my driveway and the motion sensing camera sends me an alert, plus any time my wife uses her credit card. Drives me crazy! And this is the new improved app? Are you kidding me? Fire whatever manager approved this product!

Falls on Deaf Ears. Apparently no one at this company reads the reviews of their App software. If you want to use the App software to adjust the hearing aids and also multitask on your phone, forget it! My iPhone 11 is not the problem. The App software I believe is the problem. Any adjustments made on the App software disappears the next time you activate your iPhone for any reason. I would think by now software engineers could have fixed this problem. In addition, the Bluetooth application on the app software does not work consistently to provide other app performance utilizing this software. For example Google maps directions cause havoc on the performance. Each time directions are given in Google maps, the activation haptics are engaged. It is most annoying.

Won’t stay connected. I purchased the Costco 10 hearing aids about a month ago, and was excited about both the features, and price. Service was very good, except there wasn’t enough time allocated to fit, and explain. HOWEVER, when I went in about a week after for a follow up, the Costco Audiologist could Not get the hearing aids to stay connected to her system, and decided to REPLACE them. Since I have had the new pair, they have been AWFUL! The fully charged pair only last about 10-12 hours , even with little streaming. AND, THEY WILL NOT STAY CONNECTED TO THE PHONE/App.

TV Connector Interface. The app is supposed to control the interface between the Phonak TV Connector and my Kirkland 10T hearing aids. It is so poorly designed that it is almost useless. Won’t allow save of my settings. Volume must be reset every time. TV-Environment fade must be reset every time. No way to adjust frequency response. Mute function doesn’t work. I could go on and on… (edit) So, I sent details. Of course, I received no response. Not even an acknowledgment that the developers would study my concerns and suggestions. Really, really poor (actually, nonexistent) customer service. It’s time for Costco to find another vendor.

Can you hear me?. I have to ask pretty early on in most conversations because sometimes they do & sometimes they don’t. I’m constantly re-pairing, sometimes deleting the app then reinstalling, just so someone can hear me when I’m on the phone. I don’t know if it’s the app, iPhone, or the Costco hearing aids, but the combination has been very inconsistent for the last 6 months I have owned them. When it works It’s awesome, I just wish it would work 75% of the time is all. I could live with that for the convenience of keeping my phone in my pocket or charging and having a conversation which is 90% of my job.

Can’t connect to hearing journal and it only recognises one of my hearing aids. Can you help me get the journal working it doesn’t seem to recognise me. I assume it should be registering both my hearing aids not just one? Thanks

Great App. This app does exactly what it says. Combined or independent L or R volume control, a selection of programs plus quick and simple set up of user programs via frequency adjustment, volume, noise reduction, speech focus etc. Also has some stats like how many hours per day I'm wearing them. Definitely recommended.

Needs to do what we are told!. I am unable to connect to the phone to hear audio or telephone calls. The app adjusts the volume spontaneously!! Very frustrating. I have updated my phone so as to be able to get control of the hearing aids! I could have saved the money. In my opinion, The software is sloppy. We only find that out after buying the corresponding hearing aids. Which supply is an over bloated market of gauging. This software is clear evidence of a lack of concern for its customers’.

Can’t connect app to aids. Updated and changed rating. I really appreciate the quick response from developer. Followed the instructions given and it has solved the problem which would have occurred when there was an iOS update. Working again. Thanks I previously used the older app for my older pair of hearing aids. It was great. Worked consistently and allowed me to manipulate settings on aids This app never connects to my hearing aids. I can use my phone - aid connection to stream via Bluetooth but cannot access any of the controls of the remote which renders any advances in technology absolutely useless as this means poorer performance than my older model aids. Please fix the problem

Unreliable. The app only picks up one of my hearing aids. I have unpaired and paired again to no avail I will be deleting.

Kurt. Try to program a audio setting and the App locks out!!! IS THERE ANOTHER APP I CAN USE WITH MY KIRKLANDS HEARING AIDS!!!!

Buggy app. Easy line app is buggy and does not work properly. I have Menieres and I often need to adjust volume levels individually. The level change works until the phone goes to sleep. That is not much use Also, it switches from automatic to Bluetooth streaming without input from me and with no streaming apps running Unless this is fixed, these are useless to me

IOS 15 Issue. Upgraded to IOS 15 today and Easyline Remote doesn’t love my KS10 hearing aids any more. Compatibility issue perhaps?

I agree with the many! Disappointed. My wife and I both got the new hearing aids and we are very pleased with the performance! How ever other that muting and adjusting the volume the app is very disappointing!

Awful App. This app sucks. I was happy to purchase the Kirkland hearing aids because of the cost but if I had realized the app would be so crappy, I would have definitely spent more money on my hearing aids for better app support. None of the programs work except the Automatic program, if you attempt to customize a program the app freezes and I have to go to Costco to get it reset. Buyer beware.

iOS compatibility. When will this app support iOS 16?

Useless. Costco hearing aid is let down by this totally unreliable app, does not deserve one star

Useful functionality. Too sensitive to touch Will hang up on a call if I adjust my glasses I do like the call answer feature with double tap. Not sure why it hangs up so easily

Wow. It’s worse than the reviews let on.. It doesn’t even deserve one star but we are forced to give it one to write a review which skews the rating. I am sure the rating is less than what you see. For a company which makes hearing aids you would think that their app would functions properly. It does not. I will speak with Costco and let them know how terrible the app is. Will you lend your voice to Costco as well?

Useless App. I really wonder what this app’s purpose is as I have yet to find it. You can’t create custom criteria and save them. Selecting a built in criteria has no effect. About the only thing it does show you is the current battery charge state. How a company like Costco can sell these hearing aids with this app is beyond me.

Useless. Pathetic app. Every time I receive a text or notification the app defaults back to the automatic function which, for me, is a terrible profile. I cannot stop it doing it and I have had to stop using the hearing aids as a result. Costco will be getting them back on Monday

Can’t pair with Kirkland 10.0 aids on iPhone 13. Just upgraded to an iPhone13 and can’t get my Kirkland 10.0 hearing aids. Running iOS 16.3.1. Anything you can do to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

UI does not appear to be shaped to the needs of older users. I suspect that a growing number of your customers are seniors and many did not grow up with smart phones. Easy access to the volume control is important for them. It becomes quite distressing if they are faced with a sea of unfamiliar screens filled with features they don’t use.

Their support group hasn’t replied to my query. I’ve had trouble with the streaming functionality of this device since I got my hearing aids about a month ago.. When I stream music, phone, IG audio etc etc I get a static noise. In order to get rid of it I have to get Bluetooth to forget the hearing aids, reinstall the Easy Line Remote app and re-pair the hearing aid to my phone. Sometimes I have to do that 2 or 3 times before the static goes away. It’s a huge time waster and particularly frustrating with their support group doesn’t respond to my request for help. It then works fine until I use another device (AppleCarPlay for example). The static noise returns as soon as I reconnect to the hearing aids.

Terrible. Worked once when the technician deleted all my Bluetooth connections then stopped working. No stars only rotten tomatoes. Seem to have to give it one star.

Doesn’t work. This app worked great on my iPhone 8plus for 4 years. Just upgraded to iPhone 13 and Bluetooth will not pair with hearing aids, Fitbit or speakers. I’ve gone through every on line fix I can find. I’m legally deaf and need this app.

TERRIBLE. Every single time i unlock my phone my hearing aids cut out and stop working until the app loads. This is very inconvenient because i use my phone a lot and my hearing aids should not be affected like this

Warning... important.. please read for your safety.. Do not use this app under the following conditions. - high blood pressure - low tolerance for crapy written apps - you are smart enough to know that if it has a low rating it is probably because IT SUCKS - your phone insurance does not cover destruction due to throwing it against the wall in frustration. - if you have less then an hour to try to figure out how it works and why it is not working. Of course... only to finally realize it is just a crapy app. - enjoy hearing things clearly. - potential for anxiety issues due to using an app that doesn’t work... did I mention it sucks? Hope this helps. Oh and to the IT team.... here is my suggestion for improvement. I understand it is a complex process writing a good app. It takes team work, understanding of your strengths and weaknesses, constant upgrade of schooling to understand how to properly launch a successful product. Here is my suggested steps 1. The whole team should take two weeks off to reevaluate and think through what they have done. 2. Then quit.

Please fix this app. When it connects to my hearing aids it works wonderfully but at least twice a week I have to delete and then reload the app to get it to connect to my hearing aids. Such a nuisance and waste of time.

New version, same old problems.. Still the same long delay when launching/opening the app - before you can actually control your HAs. Insult to injury - the notification mesage telling you that your HAs are connected covers the main controls for an additional 5 seconds, which is just annoying.

Now unable to pair my HA. Was able to connect my HA to the app up to yesterday. Today, no can do, the app refuses to see them. Tried to forget and re-pair. Tried to uninstall and reinstall, still won't see my HA. Easyline Remote gets my vote for Most Annoying App of the Year.

Terrible app !!!. The app is full of bugs. 1. Takes several tries to successfully pair with both devices. 2. Once paired, both devices always have statuses of connected even both hearing aids turned off. 3. Almost always crashes while trying to save new settings. 4. The app automatically changes settings even when a user defined has been selected. It should only changes when automatic settings is selected. iPhone 12, iOS 15.4.1 KS10 hearing aids (only 3 days old but returned and waiting for a replacement) If the new replacement and the app exhibit the same issues, then I will get the refund and never look back.

Doesn’t work since upgrading to iOS15. I start the app, it tries to connect to my KS9 hearing aids and the app crashes. No matter how many times I restart the app same thing - crashes out. As it stands, the KS9 are no longer meeting the selling points as I cannot select a new environment profile (such as “restaurant”). So why did I buy the KS9? Asking myself that everyday now.

Useless for managing hearing aids. While the Bluetooth connection to my iPhone works fine 9 times out of 10 the connection from the Easyline app to my hearing aids fails. So the app is broken ‘cause the Bluetooth link to everything else works fine

Difficult to pair. I have had several occasions when I have had to re pair my hearing aids. Usually when getting a new phone. I have deleted the app and tried to restart again and again. Often it finds the hearing aids but neglects to find the streaming part of them. I love everything else about this app but it is frustrating to waste literally hours trying to get them paired

Good but…. Great app when connected, but keeps disconnecting from my ear phones. So annoying and really inconvenient. I understand this is a common occurrence, can’t you fix it?

Frustrated. This has to be the most frustrating app out there when it works it’s great but more often than not is is not working Try to delete and reinstall waste of time, talked to my audiologist and even he said his no 1 complaint from customers is this app Developers do something

Absolutely ruined by the new update!. The old version was simple but got the job done without failing! This new app version wont even open. The application crashes 5 seconds after you opening it. I hope they fix it soon

Self Adjusted Soft Program. I adjusted the settings to cut out the background noise and save it as a program. However it keeps jumping back to Automatic without a few minutes and it bothers me a lot!

Very bad app - streaming stops when receiving a notification. Custom programs are not persistent, each time a notification arrived, it will reset back to Automatic program and un-mute (if you have muted the hearing aids thru the app). Spotify, SiriusXM, and other streaming apps would stop whenever there’s a notification, and you’ve to click the “Play” button again. Netflix video would become unstable or jittery when a notification is received. Currently workaround: activate Do-Not-Disturb or follow Phonak advise to switch off tones from ringtone, text tone, etc.

Poor. This app works about 1 out 10 times that you open it. It hardly ever finds the hearing aids. It just always says “searching “. I have re-paired it several times but it only works a couple of times and then not. Back to searching. They really need to start over and make a reliable app. It is really bad. Too bad you can’t give a half star.

Really Bad. Only worked the first day or so. It cuts in and out or just doesn’t work! Also attempted to adjust the volume several times and it doesn’t work either. Don’t waste your time on this app.

Terrible. It does not deserve any stars, terrible is the only word to describe

Doesn’t pair. Newer version suppose to support KS 9.0 Message on app says it is not supported. Useless app

You’ve heard the critics. So address the damn problem …i.e.. FIX IT ! …. You have a lot of frustrated users who you’ve just being paid lip-service to and whose needs just aren’t being met !! …just as with the old app…!!!

Worse than the old easyline app. I have tried the direct speech and the restaurant settings and they do not work also why does the app continue to change to mute on the speaker

No Issues. Given the number of negative reviews I thought I’d wait at least a month to write a review to see if I encountered any problems. After six weeks of fairly steady use with both my iPhone 8 and 2016 Samsung Tab A I haven’t had any problems. The app provides easy control of my KS10s and the ability to create custom audio profiles for different settings is a great feature. Very happy with the hearing aids and the app makes them just that much better.

This app really needs work.. If it weren’t required for the Costco aid I wouldn’t use it.

Bluetooth problem. The app is great for adjusting your hearing aids and battery life but the Bluetooth has much to be desired. When using Bluetooth for any other device the connection flips off and connects to the hearing aids without warning which is shocking to say the least. A blast of music when you don’t want it is very annoying. You have the details of what is going on if you read the above paragraph ! You can send the details to whomever it shouldn’t be on me to repeat myself. You developed the app so it’s your problem.

Worst app ever. I had no problem with my original app for Kirkland K10 hearing aids. Bluetooth worked great. This app has caused me nothing but trouble, from dropping Bluetooth completely, to flipping connection to my iphone off and on and flipping sound left to right or turning hearing aids totally off. Today it will not connect my phone to my hearing aids at all so, of course, I am totally deaf. They need revert back to the original app or replace this one. Either way this app is worthless.

An app that works-every time!. I have had nothing but great results with this app. It works seamlessly all day long. Being able to change settings is easier than navigating Facebook!

Generally powerful and flexible. I love the ability to tailor the settings to specific situations. The biggest issue I have is that it refuses to stay how I set it. It keeps switching to another mode, or shutting down amplification all together. Crazy making!!!

Doesn’t Correctly Control Hearing Aides. This app (software) does not control and hold the hearing aids settings selected. Changing the volume or hearing aid program works as expected, but the app must remain open and active. As soon as the app is closed or the phone is used for any other app or even a phone call the app closes and hearing aid defaults to basic/default setting. The good news, the software is visually nice and easy to use. This is particularly true after the last software update.

Works - sort of.. Finally figured out how to pair this capability while still keeping Bluetooth phone or media connected. (Bluetooth Settings shows that hearing aids are not connected BUT they are since this app used an alternate BT frequency. Apple BT setting for phone talk/listening uses another. Also try using the FAQ pull down - good luck it’s not activated. Really does only one thing with my aids; setting volume.

wont pair with new iphone 12 pro. Cant for the life of me get my kirkland 10.0 HAs to work with my new iphone 12 pro. What a bust. Was working great with iphone XR. Cant get them to pair properly. And if it does pair, it’s statiky and “fights” over the bluetooth with other devices. Very disappointed. Thinking of returning aids to Costco. I am online on work meetings and presentations all day. This is not acceptable.

Hate it. I just bought new hearing aids at Costco signature Premium 9.0 And I can pair this with my iPhone but can no longer pair with my iPad. I use to stream Tv on my iPad and could hear in my aids. I had the Signature 6.0 before and it worked all the time. This Bluetooth capability was the selling point of their hearing aids for me. I am returning them and will find hearing aids that will pair with all my devices. If you say this should work, give it a try. I have tried everything.....soooo sad.😔

Big improvement. It now connects a lot faster to BT. Still has issue w/a lot of other BT things knocking it off line, buts better than previous. Anxious to see if the turn off of touch works. Previous version didn’t, causing a lot of phone inadvertent hang ups.

Junk. Just junk! App does not work and leaves no benefit using the Brio 5-675 hearing aids. Will return the demo hearing aids and will try Oticon hearing aids. I will research the hearing aid brands with an app to see which brand have the best rating running an app. I am deaf and trying a digital hearing aids to improve the clear voice sound vs analog heating aids. I have severe tinnitus in my right ear and I was hoping for the new hearing aids I have now to help with an app that I could control the volumes, programs, and the app just will not pair with the hearing aids. Fix the app!!!!!!

Terrible Update. The “update” doesn’t work at all. The instructions are horrible. For example, at one point it tells me to push a button on my hearing aid, and there is no such button. If you haven’t updated the original app, then do not. Thanks to the update, I can’t hear my phone calls or stream music through my hearing aids. Both of which I did on a daily basis before this “improvement.”

Pathetic. The week it worked was fine. Simple. Don't need too many controls for hearing aids. Great to switch between different profiles the audiologist set for me. Did everything to get it to hook back up but no luck. Bluetooth to iPhone 10 works just fine. The app just won't pick them up. Btw like most here say, the aids are great. Been wearing aids since i was 5. I'm 50 now. First digital set I've owned that didn't have issues with piano, guitar, and music in general. So live without the app. Been paying 6k for aids every 5 years or so. These are nice aids. To hell with the app

Perfect. This is a minimalist app that works perfectly so I don’t understand the bad reviews. The three programs work fine and I do use all three but mostly I’m set to auto. I liked the volume a tad higher so instead of always changing it on the app I had Costco program it a notch higher. I’m very pleased.

Loving this so far!. Maybe I’m just lucky to have bought my KS10s and downloaded the app after they worked through problems, but I’m living the hearing aids (much better than my previous, lower tier Phonaks) and this app.

Needs to be updated for IOS 14.1.. The app will not go beyond the Safety Notice panel that pops up when starting. There is a box to check so it doesn’t appear again, but it will not proceed beyond the Safety Notice. I have tried repairing my Kirkland Signature 9.0 hearing aids and have also deleted and reinstalled the app but it still hangs at the Safety Notice panel. Please fix this.

Bad App. This app doesn’t control my hearing adds well. I set up a custom program and it changes in me. I never had a problem with the st up on my first set of hearing ads. But one of them stopped working & the store sent them back to the manufacturer but they sent a replacement set back. They are not the Sam quality of the first pair. I have gone back in for adjustments but still not acceptable. I would not recommend these hearing aids!

It works but.... Despite the other reviews the app actually works. But...it needs a couple of improvements: It needs an ipad version so I can split screen the app with another app. ie. This would help in a mtg when taking notes and listening at the same time. My only other option is to manually adjust. Kinda embarrassing sometimes. How about being able to save settings; I have one bad ear and one really bad ear.

Great hearing aids. Clunky app.. First time hearing aid wearer. I have the Kirkland 10s. Brand new model and am very happy with them. The app is pretty basic and would be fine if the Bluetooth connection was consistent. You can make your own custom setting, but any time you do something different with your phone, it reverts back to the automatic setting. Answer a call and it won’t switch off the Bluetooth+microphone 1 setting. This one is a wiff and if there were a different app solution it use it.

Looks like they fixed the main problem with this app. With latest update the app stays on the program rather than switching back to automatic every time you get an alert. Huge improvement.

Buggy. The app is buggy. When I try to save a new setting it refuses. At one point (the day after I got them) I had to go back to Costco because the app wouldn’t connect at all. They had to re-do programming from the beginning. The jury is still out on whether I will keep these hearing sides, regardless of the app issues.

Adjustments don't hold. If you have made adjustments it will go back To default if you open anothe app or if a notification comes in - unless you make a custom set up and you can only have 4 so that is a pain every time your in a new environment. Other apps don't have this problem .

BY FAR THE WORST APP. I have the KS 10 which is a phenomenal hearing aid. However the easy line app is horrid. I had the KS 9’s and used that app (also Phonak) and it was fine You touch your phone…the hearing aid changes. If you’re using the TV streamer and touch or pick up your phone the streamer drops Then, when you pull up the app, it goes to Bluetooth streaming + mic1. Why?, when I’m not streaming anything. The app should remain on the program I set unless I change it Cmon guys. You built a superior hearing aid. Fix the app!

Horrible app. I bought Kirkland hearing aids because my sisters loved them and their fully functional app. Well COSCO changed suppliers and the app is horrible. All it does is adjust the volume. It gives no other control over the hearing aids. I would not buy these hearing aids again because the remote app does next to nothing. Can I give it less than 1 star? I would but it would look like a mistake.

Works for awhile. Wonderful app when it works. Just got my Costco Series 9 hearing aids last week and downloaded this app. I have now downloaded it 3 times and still will only work for a few days. Please fix it, we are a captive audience, but is it that hard to make it work? Above review was for my iPhone and now I am trying the app on a new iPad Pro. Downloaded, but does not work at all! Will not pair with iPad. Hello, anybody home?

It’s now working.. I followed the detailed reset instructions and got everything to finally work. Just a little too much monkey business to keep this running. I do like it when it works.

Frustrating and unreliable. This app is horrible compared to the Resound app on my old hearing aids. Constantly disconnects and extremely difficult to reconnect. Loses Bluetooth connection repeatedly and does not stay connected to the hearing aids unless you have the app open and running so every time you want to make an adjustment you have wait for the reconnect Truly and awful user experience. Will be returning these aids and getting the resound as the few hundred dollar price savings on the Kirkland/Phonex is NOT worth the frustration!

Now it’s great!. The last update added the ability to stay connected for quick changes to a custom program. Wonderful!

Don’t Get It!. Awful. Had no problems with hearing aid until I got the app, since them nothing but Issues! Their on line support is never available and calls to Costco store are not answered. Leaving a message for a return call as the store’s messages directs yields nothing. Do yourself a favor, keep the old app. Better yet, avoid this Kirkland Hearing Aide product! Sad I have to write such a harsh review but hope I can help others avoid my mistake.

Zero stars. I’ve worn hearing aids for 30 years and thought it was the worst app ever for hearing aids. But with the latest upgrade somehow they made it even worse. If you are lucky enough to get the hearing aids to connect to the app, prepare for much patience to be needed. But most of the time they won’t even connect. I’d expect Costco to require more from Sonova. Also heard they have stopped selling the k10s. So the chances of the app getting better I suspect is zero.

Not a fan of the app. I want to know why I can’t connect my KS10 hearing aids directly to my iPhone 7. My husband connected his through accessibility, hearing devices. He has Starkey aids. I really haven’t found the app to be helpful at all, except for volume control. I would think that my iPhone would recognize the KS10 hearing aids. I just don’t want to use the app. I just connected them through Bluetooth settings so I can listen to music or a movie on my iPad.

Will not hold setting - reverts to Automatic. In theory, it’s great to have so many different listening programs and the ability to create custom programs. In practice, there is only one program: Automatic, as set by the technician at Costco. No matter what program I select or how I adjust the available settings for the sound to be more comfortable, the app reverts to Automatic and the too-loud, too-treble way it’s programmed. Why provide multiple programs and customizable programs if the app is going to refuse to let me use them?

“Easy Listening “. Although app is easy to use I find at times there is a fluctuation in sound. The sound quality when listening to music on my phone with adjustments is flawless. Wish all categories were just as good.

JP Hearing. The app, as said by others is only good for volume. FAQ only shows Q’s no answers. The only way to switch from one device to another, phone / iPad is to disconnect the first device, delete the app and pair to the second device. The tv streaming device only uses an digital optical connection for streaming. As for the aids the sound is great and they are easy to use. The main problem I have is that they don’t announce the caller as my previous Phonak,s did therefore you always need your phone handy to screen for spam or robo calls.

So great!. I was not able to use this app before! I was having lot of issues when I was in a noisy classroom! Now with the adjustments available, I can customize my experience!

Needs more. I just got my hearing aids and downloaded the app. The app doesn’t function when talking on the phone. I would like to be able to use the features available when streaming while on a phone call. It would also be nice to be able to sync with Apple Watch.

No longer works. Was working fine for quite a while on my iPhone and now something’s changed and it can no longer connect to my hearing aid. Got it to work the other day by wiping everything, multiple times, but now it’s not connecting again. All of the usual reasons for that are not a problem so I’m left with …. nothing. Since Costco no longer carrying K1O because of known issues, this app is probably on the way out anyway.

Oh No! Restart again ?. Two weeks ago. Love my Costco hearing aid. But not this startup hearing aid volume control app. The app tells me I have an (an average??) of .9 hours time connected to the app on my IPhone 8+. That is about right. 90% of the time it either does not connect one or both hearing aids or drops the connection within a few minutes. So after I am connected and have both hearing aids on my ears the app tells me to restart each hearing aid in order to reconnect!😡 That requires removing both aids and opening the battery holder on each. (Which also disconnects my operating Bluetooth connection to my phone) NO THANK YOU. the app is a waist of time. Costco should support another app for their hearing aids. Anyone have a recommendation?

Problems with iPhone 15 and iOS 17.2.1. Have had Kirkland KS10 for almost 2 years. Updated phone and OS 2 weeks ago. Since then have had pairing issues and issues with not being able to take phone calls through hearing aids. Also, not all sound programs are working. TV program in app is only one that allows any adjustment. Other programs have sound muted and don’t respond to adjustment.

Buggy app. As with many others, I use the Costco Signature 9.0 hearing aids. The controls included within this app could be very useful but sadly the app will not stay paired with the hearing aids. Phonak’s response is to delete and reinstall the app. While I am more than capable of doing this, it is frustrating. I think that the developer of this needs to start over again to fix this buggy app.

No lost hearing aid feature. My old KS 6 hearing aid application had a feature that allowed me to track down a lost hearing aid. The app showed unceasing/ decreasing signal strength. It worked like a metal detector. I found my hearing aid buried in two inches of sand where it had become dislodged in a collision the previous day. Those batteries were good for a week. These batteries only go 18 hours on a charge. Unhappy!!

Can't connect. I have an iPhone 11. I successfully connected my hearing aids to the phone through Bluetooth and can use them just fine for listening to music and making phone calls etc. However they cannot connect to this app. I've tried absolutely everything and there is zero help for this. It's very frustrating. What is the point of this app anyway?

5 stars if Apple Watch was supported. I don’t really know why all the negative reviews. Have had no issues with the app at all. One major wish would be that it supported the Apple Watch so I could make changes without having to open my phone. Please work on this.

Doesn’t work with iPhone 14 pro. Although Bluetooth is enabled on my phone and I can use it for receiving calls, the app will not find my hearing aids, which means I cannot use the functions to control for my environment or adjust the volume. In fact, this app does absolutely nothing. I think this is an updated version as it worked just fine with my iPhone 11, and I was very pleased with it, but not now. It’s very frustrating when you pay good money for hearing aids with all the bells and whistles.

Huge downgrade from previous app!. You lose all functionality of the previous app. I can’t do anything other than adjust volume. The tabs at the top are garbage and my streaming doesn’t always work now. Please revert to the previous app for the k10’s! A low quality app is better than a worthless one. I wish I could get a refund on my hearing aides as the previous app is what made the k-10’s bearable. They are almost completely worthless now that I can’t control the background noise. ABSOLUTE GARBAGE!

Programs. I created a custom program because that’s the setting I want my hearing aids to use. I DO NOT want the Easy Line app constantly switching me back to the Automatic program setting!! The programmers need to fix this!!! It is outrageously annoying!!!!!!

Horrible. Does not pair easily or hold the pairing. My hearing aids were just one day old and the pairing failed. I have been unable to pair them after trying everything possible for more than an hour. The app is total garbage. I use an iPhone 8 Plus. Now I have to return to Costco to see if they can pair the hearing aids and if this time the pairing holds. If not I will have to return them for good. Shame on Costco and phonak for making such a garbage product and letting customers buy it.’

Will not connect to my new iPhone 14 Max Pro. This used to work on my previous iPhone 6, but when I got my new iPhone 14 Max Pro. It will not connect. Even more flustering is MyPhonak will connects and tells me to use Easy Line. I have the latest Version the program. Note only the right hearing will show in the blue tooth devise box. Revised 10/22 I was finally able to connect my hearing aids by deleting the App recycling the iPhone and then putting the Bluetooth on the aids in the connect mode.

So so. When I first started using this app in spring 2020 I was a little disappointed. More basic than I had hoped for, but I will say the hearing specialist at Costco did warn me not to expect too much. The only feature I like and used is the separate left and right volume control (balance). Since the Apple update 13.6 and subsequent Easy Line update I have lost balance control. Only a single volume control. Can do that with the physical control. Would really like balance control back.

Needs polishing. This works pretty good but some of the features need a little polishing such as when you have the volume set especially when the volume is split (one aid higher than the other) and you go into the other settings then come back to the volume page, the volume has reset itself, the app should remember the settings and not revert back

Very Disappointing!. The new version of this app is worse than the previous one. Note only are all the old problems (including losing settings each time you navigate away from the app, dropping phone call connections to the hearing aids, opening some apps changing phone settings, etc), but now there are new problems; for example, when a new text comes in, the hearing aid volume goes to the highest setting, blasting my ears in a painful way. This app is a piece of junk!

Line split. The two lines on iPhone keep splitting without me doing it making the hearing aids louder and sound like in stereo . I have to keep going back to the app to change the line back to a single line. It’s very annoying.
