Terrible Upgrade. The original app was simple to use and it worked. This is not an improvement. Keeps turning off my right hearing aid. Terrible.

Buggy and needs update like its Unitron sister app. Sonova AG wrote this app and the sister app for Unitron. My hearing aids are made by Unitron, but are sold under the Audicus brand. Same hearing aids, yet the Hearing Remote app is V 3.02 and hasn’t been updated in over 5 months. The Unitron app is V 3.03 and was updated 2 months ago. No idea what the enhancements were, but it hardly seems right does it? And to boot, it’s buggy. Under “Programs” there is an entry for “Bluetooth Streaming” which allows you to adjust for “Media” or “Surroundings.” It basically seems to be a bass and treble adjustment – when you can access it. If you visit “My hearing aids > My programs” it’s the last entry in the list. I’ll be darned if I know how I ever got to it 3 or 4 times, but I did. I’ve spent the better part of an afternoon trying to replicate the efforts that took me to it those few times. So come on Sonova AG - don’t treat Audicus like a red-headed stepchild. Keep the apps in sync and fix the bugs. And improve it.

Scratchy phone calls and …. My instructions to close the adaptive Bluetooth were supposed to fix that, but no go. I’m gave that button seems to turn itself back on. Ive deleted the app are re-downloaded it several times it keeps telling me I cannot access the adjustments because Bluetooth isn’t working- when in fact it is: aids are pairs to my phone!

Relate 2.0 BTE / RIC. So far so good. Disagree with review that it’s useless. Will update.

Works great!. I have not had any difficulties with this app. Works great for me. It is very easy to use.

Not Impressed.. This basic application doesn’t actually meet my needs. Additionally, I find it difficult to communicate between the phone and my hearing aids. There are often times where the phone does not recognize the presence of the hearing aids, and this application at that point becomes useless. I would appreciate if they had a better layout on the graphical presentation so that I could at least check the connection status, and adjust the hearing aids more accurately.

Better than others. This app is better than other similar apps that I have used

Will not stay connected. If you want an app to stay connected to your hearing aids, via Bluetooth, find something else besides this app. I am so frustrated and trying to find a new app now to work.

Nothing but problems. Worst app I’ve ever used. I downloaded this because my grandfather needed to be able to control his hearing aid volume with something he could see instead of the buttons on his hearing aids. It was easy to connect to Bluetooth, but that’s not rocket science. The issue comes in when the app decides to change the single slider with a double slider FOR NO REASON. It was confusing for him and his wife as well as being difficult to resolve. It gives you the option to change it back to one slider or change it to two, that’s true. The issue comes in when the app arbitrarily decides to change to a double slider when the selection mode is not activated. It doesn’t give a reason as to why it changes it and it doesn’t seem to have a pattern. I would not recommend this app to anyone who has issues with technology. I’ve had an iPhone for 10 years and I struggled with figuring out how to problem solve this app. One redeeming feature: it was completely free. We had to purchase a $285 hearing aid remote from the dealer just to be able to function. Seriously, whoever programmed this needs to rethink the structure. Hope y’all have better luck than we did.

Simple to use and no confusion. Easy to use for adjusting my volume when needed. Rarely switch programs

Very poor. App very difficult to pair to hearing aids, when they do connect they don’t stay connected , when they are connected most of the functions don’t work ie,volume control equalizer etc. waste of time messing with it

Great App. This app is just what I needed to enhance my hearing aid experience. It lets me control my devises without me having to fiddle with the control buttons on the aids themselves.

Hearing remote app. Resets by itself and gets really loud when I get incoming calls thru my hearing aid is annoying 😌

It’s 2023 fix the app. When I first got my hearing aids the app worked decent but now it has trouble staying connected to the Bluetooth which is super annoying and it interferes with my job! Fix the app it’s 2023 it shouldn’t be this difficult with all the technology that we have.

Useless. App only allows for adjusting volume but advertises ability to further adjust treble, bass, etc of settings and programs.

First time in noisy restaurant. I thought my hearing aids would work fine. But it was not to be. Set to restaurant default, the treble sound was too high. i kept getting a whispering static or whistling on my right ear. Using the app l, i lowered the treble setting, but it didnt help much. the restaurant had marble walls and highly reverberant noise. But it was disappointing not to be able to make the proper adjustment. -Jan Herman

Needs work. These are my second bout of hearing aids. The sound is unbelievable. The new ear piece with side ports are much better in avoiding wax plugs. The batteries are too small for a guy with large hands and fingers to change frequently. I wish the batteries were 13 instead of p312. I can see the smaller hearing aids are more marketable at the expense of functionality. I chose batteries over rechargeable due to using my hearing aids at all times except when sleeping. I’m usually streaming or listening through the TV box or using the phone. Rechargeable hearing aids don’t last long enough and when I’m not home without house current I can change out the batteries without having to recharge. The microphone in the hearing aids are an added feature so I can’t talk or Zoom on line without having the phone close to my mouth. Now for the stuff I don’t like. The application is in need of work. The blue tooth connectivity is a constant problem. I find I am constantly having to reconnect to my phone. I have totally deleted the application and downloaded it from the App Store. I have removed the detected hearing aids from the blue tooth and reconnected on the app. I cannot correct the constant disconnect problem of my blue tooth to both hearing aids. I am going to contact my audiologist again. The smaller batteries last about a day and a half to two days. I feel like I’m replacing batteries constantly. My previous application had the GPS ability to go to the setting that I preferred for that location. For instance when I go to church my hearing aids would go to church setting as soon as I pulled into the parking lot. I hope the feature can be upgraded into the app.

Unreliable. This tv remote is really poorly designed It keeps my hearing aids switch between Automatic and Tv Remote due to loss of connection and each time generating a “ding” in my hearing aids. Sometime it disconnects 20 times in a minute VERY BAD

Great hearing aids and app. The hearing aids are wonderful and allow me to enjoy so many things now

Will not connect to blue tooth. Requires separate adjust. Most of the time will not connect to blue tooth or one will the other one doesn’t.

Useless. Controls column only. No instructions on how to link to tv. No way to adjust bass and treble.

Does need improving. I like the simplicity but it seems to fail or reset itself, really not sure just know it drops, so please do a little more work on the app. It only has a 3.9 on the App Store out of five. Thanks

Impossible to use. App spins and spins and can’t find hearing aid. All appropriate steps taken. Failed. Useless app

Horrible. The latest update didn't fix the bugs. I have contacted the developer several times and I was ignored every time.

Pretty awful. It constantly only recognises one side. Never works as it’s supposed to. Hopefully someone will update it as it’s useless and frustrating ... come on guys sharpen up before Apple invent AirPods as a hearing aid!

Ok but needs improvement. Works well when connected but loses connection and requires removal of the app and reinstalling and pairing again.

Would not have purchased hearing aids!. I use “TV Connector” with computer. It constantly disconnects. Previous hearings were fine. These are hopeless and incredibly frustrating. I do not recommend these hearing aids if intending to use “TV Connector” with computer.

Updated app doesn’t work. Ever since you updated the app it doesn’t pair with my right hearing aid is Bluetooth but does for the left one. I’ve tried contacting support but it goes in a help guide loop. So writing a review to hopefully get some support.

ipad issue. It doesn’t work on my ipad.

Very Happy. The recent upgrade enhanced not only the software but the hearing aids too. It has enabled me to do minimise that a aspect of hearing aids I found really annoying. Namely that ability they had of amplifying everything except what you wanted to hear, like background noise, the clatter of cutlery etc, great improvement.

Doesn’t work on iPhone. App works well on my iPad but will only connect left side on my iPhone.

Frustrating App. It’d be ok and not much more if it didn’t drop out and have to be deleted and re installed so often. Sick of it. The drop outs make it less, far less, than just ok. It makes it the most annoying app I’ve ever used.

Basic. This hearing aid app is very basic but it does measure battery life for those who have rechargeable batteries Don’t expect too much because it has not been designed for much . I rarely use except to see battery life
