Decent. I’m a Bareburger regular & the service/food are always top notch. I also love the fact that there’s a full vegan menu!! The app is nice but could definitely be made better. There needs to be an option to add things to your burger, sandwich, or salad. With the delivery option, there needs to be notifications so customers aren’t just waiting forever. I used the app today for delivery, so I could get points. After waiting an hour, I called only to find out there was an issue in the kitchen with my order. Even with the email confirmation there is no way to tell when the order would be delivered. The rewards are great, but had I used Seamless I would have my food or at least know when I’ll be getting it. Please do better & update this!!!

App makes ordering very easy. I recently moved to Hoboken and trying to find new places to eat is difficult. Having the bareburger app made my life a lot easier when I found out there is a location right around the corner from my apartment. The 3D view of burgers helps me decide if I want to try a new item or get my usual order.

Upgraded. Great new app for ordering quickly and easily! The more you order take out and delivery, the more rewards you earn for future purchases!

Good app. They have good burgers and fries and the food is always made fresh they should also have more vegetarian option other than that this place is really good.

Great app. Works great, sometimes they update it and things will go missing but only momentarily, (i just call and ask if they have it in stock)

YES. The app makes ordering really easy (on top of looking way better than the old app), and I love the rewards esp because I’m a regular customer so it makes it easy to keep track of

Was okay—now unusable. A few months ago the whole app changed, now it crashes frequently, and it takes at least 6-7 times to actually place an order. Not to mention, it never lets you cash in your points or promos. They lost my business tonight because I simply cannot fight with a piece of technology that once worked perfectly.

Seems better. This app seems better than the first one however I couldn’t enter in specific swaps for instance change a bean burger to a beyond burger. Hopefully that changes rather soon. In the meantime I’ll continue calling and giving instructions.

Reorder feature has a bug. The best thing about the previous ordering system was that you could reorder a previous order. This made it super quick and easy. If I didn’t change what I ordered last time, I could literally order my everything and be checked out in under 30 seconds. Now with this app, I hit reorder but it only brings up a few of my items. So I have to go back and take the time to add back in my other items. It’s very annoying. I think what is happening is that I am ordering 4 Build your own burgers. The reorder is only bringing in 1 of them...I think it’s the last one I inputted from the last order. Please fix this bug. Also, another disappointing thing is that in the build your burger section you are not able to add a second patty or ask for your burger with no bun over lettuce. Unfortunately I think this app is 2 steps down from the previous system. ☹️

annoying. BRING BACK THE REWARDS ! this “new” app is such a step down. i have rewards racked up that i can’t even use. They’ll sit there until they bring this function back in stores. I was told it’d be up and running before the summer. still waiting. it’s such a disappointment when i drive fairly far to eat at my “nearest” location. and you guys can’t get it together.

Awesome update with great rewards!!. VERY well designed and user-friendly fresh update from their previous app! Makes it super easy and convenient to order from any Bareburger location, modify menu and cart items, pay, and earn / keep track of rewards. As a vegetarian, Bareburger is one of my favorite places to eat (there are SO many veggie options!!) so I’ll definitely be using this app often :)

Love Bareburger: Great Food, Great Service!. Have been ordering from Bareburger for a while: just started using their app: Great design, awesome usability, and it works great for placing quick pickup orders & saving time when getting Bareburger food items! The points benefit is also pretty awesome: and Bareburger is a great choice, for both eating healthy/getting into more plant-based choices, & their compostable/eco-friendly packaging, and vegan options are great for eating sustainably: definitely recommend! :)

App quality that matches the food quality. A well-designed app that is very user-friendly, intuitive and has a creative design that matches the feel and atmosphere you’ll find in the restaurant. Well done. The quality here matches the quality of the burgers, fries, shakes that Bareburger has mastered.

No ApplePay and Dumbed Down Rewards. The app does not accept ApplePay and the rewards have been reduced. Plus their food has become incredibly overpriced. If I am going to pay that much, I want to pay with ApplePay. It’s secure. I trust Apple, not this app. The rewards are now worth less than when it was spend $100, get $10. Oh well, I will offload the app, and make my own burger and fries at home.

Cumbersome. No link to PayPal or Apple Pay. You need to enter your card info. You have to register to order so that they could spam you. Ordering is slow and buggy. Long wait times when accessing cart. Got errors a few times and had to try again

A bit confusing.. A bit confusing. And no clear option to start building my own burger from scratch with out having to removed things.

Simple and fast. Love the new app! Easy to use and works smoothly. I Would like to be able to add special requests on my orders such as having the sunny side egg hard fried and if the orange soda could also be added to the beverages menu. Overall the app is great!

App is not useful. I am disappointed to say that the recent app changes have not been well received and are a serious hinderance to ordering from the restaurant. You can’t insert the temperature you wanted your burger cooked at and there was no comment section to leave notes on how to prepare the food. Furthermore, the app doesn’t give an estimate time for pick up. I arrived and had to wait an unusually long time to get my food. I’ve also sent these comments over to Bareburger via their website and received no response from them.

Simple and innovative. Ordering lunch with Augmented reality? Now that’s cool. I like the simplified options, the quality has changed for the better and it really shows due to efforts like this. Keep up the good work!

Anonymous. I love it! The design is very eye catching and the idea is good! I love the restaurant and the food i wish the menu was shown first before the locations, but other than that it’s designed beautifully.

Amazing. This app make ordering super easy and exciting! I mean being able to see visually what you’re getting with the 3D food is genius ! I definitely recommend this to anyone like myself who’s always on the go and may not find the time of day to eat. Weather it be delivery or pick up, both efficient and convenient!

Super easy to use. I love ordering from Bareburger and this app makes the process simple and easy. The menu is easy to navigate, which is perfect considering how big their menu is. I can also keep track of my rewards, which is great!

The “new and improved” app. I downloaded the app thought it would give $10 credit but nothing. It just picked up whatever it was and nothing there. Basically, the old app has more choices and maybe giving you some kind of credits and payment options. Not sure this one has anything special. I think level up food apps are better designed. Maybe they can take a page from their book.

Much better. Hated the old app. This app is super user friendly, and I love how it gives me points for ordering Delbert. Before I got no points for that, just fine in. One complaint, I can not modify burgers, but I can do it when I go to built you own. So you win some you lose some!! Either way love Bareburger!!!

Nothing but bad experience with this app. I can’t seem to order ahead without a problem so I end up ordering food without the app and I can’t get the points that I’ve earned from purchasing at Bareburger. I’ve spent about $60 in the past 2 weeks and can’t even get my points. Bareburger never even responds to my feedback. I have a $10 reward I couldn’t even redeem at a Bareburger nearby because they weren’t even on the map to order ahead. So on top of not being able to get the points for money I’ve spent at Bareburger, I can’t even redeem my rewards. This is beyond frustrating.

Love the restaurant. Disappointed by new app.. I personally really enjoy dining in but since I can only use the app for pick up or delivery now instead of being able to pay with the app in the restaurant I can’t go in as often since I’m not getting rewards for dining in anymore.

Bareburger app. I love the flexibility of the new app! Looks great and I can literally do everything all in one place. Makes it very easy to complete the Bareburger experience from start to finish!

Zero stars. You lost a household because of this app. Sorry not sorry. The new app is horrible and the excuse that it backs up the kitchen to have modifications is a lame and a terrible excuse. Maybe you can hire more people in the kitchen instead of losing customers. You definitely lost a family due to this new app where modifications are now non-existent. We love Bareburger but have other options in NYC.

Can no longer pay or collect rewards in store. The old app allowed you to pay in-store using the app as well as accumulate rewards for in-store spending. The new app allows for neither. I visit the restaurant frequently but never order so this app is now completely useless to me. The rewards I’ve accumulated transferred over from the old app but I can’t use them unless I order for pickup or delivery.

Took my earned rewards balance!. I used this app for the rewards program earning $10 every $100 spent. So I had a $10 balance on my account which I hadn’t used yet. Now with the latest update, it looks like they changed the rewards program AND they took(stole) my $10 balance. I wrote to support and received no response! Not legitimate!

Needs some work. Tried to order & couldn’t edit out an ingredient that wasn’t listed. Should have an area where you can write in additional comment.

Not all food listed. The app doesn’t have everything on offer at Bareburger. It’s quite annoying! Like I love the Brussels sprouts but they’re not listed on the menu with the app so I have to make a separate phone call after ordering to get those in my delivery.

Why’s it is only the Queens location listed for a pickup?. This app only listed the Queens location for a pickup, yet the website lists multiple locations. Is this a bug? Also what happened to the Williams Street Manhattan Bareburger? Have they closed down or something? The website says they closed. No one answers the phone. And of course ordering online from that location is impossible.

Not for someone with severe food sensitivities. As someone who gets very sick from exposure to tomatoes (it won’t kill me but I’ll be out of work for days), not being able to modify nor add notes makes this app unusable. Also you can’t order a side of rings and sweet fries. What use is ordering online when it doesn’t do the entire menu. Is it really easier/streamlined for us to call in an order rather than getting it right on a customizable app?

Amazing Food. The App is great it's quick and easy to use I love it❤️ The prices are ridiculous but when I can I order since they accommodate vegans perfectly which is hard to find sadly. If you want to eat a healthy vegan burger you have to spend over $13 but for anyone who eats meat can simply order off the dollar menu at McDonald's or pretty much go anywhere. The food is amazing the delivery was quick but if the prices were decent I would order a lot more often😊

Simple & Easy to Use. Recently found Bareburger and have been going here regularly ever since. The app makes ordering super simple and easy (also with pickup options if I'm around). I love their food (especially the impossible burger, for all you vegans out there!) and am glad I have this app to keep track of my rewards 💕 Overall, the look is great, and the experience is even better.

Yummy!. All the food looks so good! The bright vibrant pictures make the food look delicious and mouth watering. It’s also very cool that you can see a 3D, 360 degree view of each food item while ordering through the app. Definitely recommend this restaurant! Amazing burgers, & great food.

Can’t use rewards. The app builds my rewards points but will not let me use them. It just gives an error message when I try to apply the rewards to my order. It seems others are experiencing this as well. Shocking there hasn’t been an update to fix this, but then again, they’re not giving out free food either 😜

Love the food, app never works when I have big orders. Love the food and the interface is great but the app never works when I have big orders. I end up having to call or use DoorDash and I don’t get the points and am unable to use my points. This has happened at least 4 times in the last 6 months.

Thank God it’s around!. I just moved to Brooklyn and glad Barebuger app is around to order my food!! I get hangry very easily and simply clicking is easy enough to get my food. App is definitely easy to navigate.

Changed app. Why can’t I take off premium veggies and swap non ones. I always take off alfalfa sprouts and pickled onions and I used to be able to swap it for dill pickles but now there isn’t even an option and you cannot add notes like “sauce on the side” for burgers even tho you used too. It’s limited and I always have to call now to tell them these things and they mess it up often because it’s not written on the check

Love this ap!. Easy to use for anyone who loves bareburger and loves convience. Zero complaints and total satisfaction especially when you’re a person who is always hungry and never has time! Yay!

Prettier but not improved. Sure the app looks exponentially better but you can’t modify your burger. Wanna swap a bun for a wrap? Nope. Add a topping? Not possible. Add any vegan toppings to your customized burger? No. So like the last app the idea would be to make notes at check out - yet there is no place to leave any notes on your order! At least in the last app I was able to do that. Because this was such a pain I ditched my ordered and chose a Thai place on Seamless. This app may look better and have silly AR burgers but I didn’t place an order so it’s a dud. This app is in dire need of a UX Designer who’s actually tried to place an order before.

Restaurant and app. BareBurger restaurants are our family’s one of the best choice but the app is terrible... nothing like their restaurants !!! You can’t write a note to the restaurant.. you can’t say how you want your burger to be cooked !!!! I thought the order was delivery.. after waiting more than 1 hour , I saw from my email that it was a “take out order” !!! So ate the burgers cold !!!! Terrible app .. I will delete the app

Great new system!. This updated app works flawlessly! So much easier to order from any location and modify my order when needed. Thank you for this!!!

New and Improved. The new app looks and feels a lot better, load times are basically unnoticeable and it’s extremely easy to place an order. I’ve done at least 3 orders on the new app and hav had no issue whatsoever, everything is handled really quickly! And of course it looks great and has lots of artistic flair you can appreciate.

The Rewards! 😍. Bareburger is my family’s go to for takeout and this app makes it so easy to order. Not only is it easy to navigate, but with every order reward points are added to your account. More than often after one or two meal orderings we have a reward waiting for us the next time we go to order.

Stellar app!. Great app by a company that makes great food! easy to navigate and way more welcoming then your uber eats or seamless. I can actually see what food I'm ordering and that right there is the kind of piece of mind i like

No eat in options. I haven’t used the app yet, but used it when it was on LevelUp. My family would take a nice lunch at the restaurant and use LevelUp to pay and earn rewards. Bareburger is a nice treat for us, but I can’t see ordering it for takeout as much as we liked eating in the restaurant. I wish that this app allowed you to pay while dining in and earn rewards.

Ok so far. App looks good new menu looks good wish I could modify stuff to add on as far as veggies and menu is not vegan (all sandwiches have cheese and mayo...??) confusing. Hopefully my order is right

Where’s The Shakes?. Can’t purchase shakes using this app, but you can using Seamless. What gives? Otherwise works well for all the choices restaurant gives you.

App is broken. The app is broken. I’m getting an error when I try to order that says “whoops… dining option must contain GUID or external ID.” It doesn’t matter if I pick delivery or pick up. I had to order from an alternate app that charges excessive fees. I love the food and the restaurant, the app just needs to be fixed. Please fix it!

My favorite spot. I love Bareburger! You have wonderful options for vegetarians like me. It is so exciting to see that I can order on this app now.

Fewer options!. I'm a fan of Bareburger but the app has a lot fewer vegan and other options. It also doesn't deliver to our house although Grubhub somehow does from the same location.

I liked the old app. I honestly don’t have Bareburger in my hood but ate it a lot when I could pay with the app. Now it’s gotta be takeout or delivery. Maybe one day they’ll stop changing everything so much. People enjoy things and they always changing something.

Charged my card 3 times. I entered my card through Apple Pay and paid, then it charged my card and said the card info was incorrect. I went through the process 3 times before I realized it actually was charging me! Fix this!

Errors. I made an order the other for kid meals. The only option on the App was to choose no side. I had to call into the store after I made the order to say I wanted French fries as my side. When I picked up the food, I did not receive my sides that come with the kids meal. -Joe B

Great app, needs custom tip option. Great app, I knocked off one star for the awkward tipping option. You either tip 10% and above, or 0. There is no custom tip option.

Scammed out of rewards. The app has scammed me multiple times out of being able to gain points/rewards on orders, as well as being able to even use the rewards earned, no matter how many times I've tried.

Beverage options missing. My app only shows a bottle of cola under beverage options (at least for the Woodcliff Lake NJ store). Would like to be able to order the rest of the available beverages. Please add. Otherwise love Bareburger!

Downhill trajectory. The UI is buggy and the app crashes simply from scrolling. Apple Pay was removed for no apparent reason, which reduces convenience and creates a security risk if account is hacked. Why did your team choose to put forth a worse and less secure product for customers?

Bad App good food. The food is good but this application is very poorly done. When I try to log in it it tells me that I already have an account, yeah that’s why I’m trying to log into it. Very poorly done.

THE BEST. I’m a vegetarian and Bareburger has THE BEST black bean burger I’ve ever had. I frequent Yankees Stadium and I am so thankful they have a stand there so I can get the Guadalupe burger !

Love the shakes. Their shakes give me the shakes, get the banana foster! Oh and you can click on the burgers to make them show up IRL

Terrible App. This app is useless; the old app allowed customers to pay via barcode. Horrible customer experience.

No way to add comments. The old app allowed you to add comments such as chicken extra well done, etc. Now I have an extra step to call the restaurant to tell them. I love the food but the app is lacking.

Add Westfield NJ. Westfield NJ location is open and the take-out menus they are giving out say to use the app but the location isn’t listed in the app, so you cannot even see the menu, let alone order. Contacted Bareburger but no response after at least a week.

Great App. App looks great and easy to use. Visuals are great and the food is even better!!! Reward points are a big plus.

Horrible new app!!!. Old app was so much better! No way to change your cc info or change any order option and even the desktop app is crappy!! Such a useless app. Switch back to old app.

Bad service. Traveled 30 minutes to get a free beyond burger from the promotion they were running. When I got there they said they can’t do it. Clear and simple instructions were listed on the beyond website and from Bareburger that they didn’t attempt to honor. I’ll never go back
