Good Cookies, Terrible App. The cookies are great, the app is a mess. There’s been several times that I’ve wanted to order cookies but literally wasn’t able to. Here’s just some of the issues I’ve had: If you get logged out, there’s like a 50-50 shot on whether or not you’ll be able to log back in. Today when I tried to order, I literally could not find a cart or checkout button. Like…I’ve ordered from the app several times, this wasn’t user error, it literally just *wasn't there*. There have been several times where I’m trying to pick out cookies for a box and the list won’t pull up. I genuinely do not understand how a company in 2022 that relies on food delivery has an app that is this bad. Spring for an app developer/app company that can make something that’s not just a lazy copy of your equally bad website. I promise you it’ll pay for itself when people can actually order your product.

Profile Information. Finals begin tomorrow and I wanted to order my daughter some cookies. I haven’t placed an order since last semester. The app would not allow me to update my payment information. I kept receiving messages indicating can’t delete default payment. The option to add additional payments was not available. I called the local store and the best advice offered was to order online. Ordering online does not offer an Apple Pay or PayPal option. If I wanted to order cookies, I needed to provide all my personal information on the internet. Terrible app if you need to update information. To order cookies I had to create another account.

Broken login. My login works fine on the website, but doesn't work in the app. Attempted to login multiple times (including captchas) with the same user/password in my keychain that worked on the website, none worked, now my account is locked. Also creating an account in the app doesn’t link with your keychain (no hide my email, no suggested strong passwords, no automatically saving your new username/password). Authentication needs work. The rest of the app is probably great, but I wouldn’t know because I can’t cross that barrier to entry 🤷‍♂️

Doesn’t save card info!. The cookies are delicious, BUT, the app doesn’t save card info. The whole point of ordering cookies when the urge strikes is convenience! This is twice now I want to get cookies stat and my card info wasn’t there. So totally lost the desire when I had to go find my stupid card and put in all the info. 8 days later... my cookies still haven’t been delivered and when you enter tracking information in the app “oops something went wrong” unable to track your order 😒

Cookies are awesome, app not so much. Probably the worst app I have to navigate because any others like this get deleted from my phone. It doesn’t save instructions, you have to re-enter information every order that should be saved. If you start typing in the order pages the keyboard will disappear all of a sudden after a few keystrokes. Custom tips can sometimes make you have to go back and start over because the return button doesn’t register. Super frustrating, I figured after a few years it would be fixed but still the same. 2 stars only because the cookies are the best! Time for an app update or overhaul to improve usability.

Nonfunctional. This is unfortunately one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. It’s unfortunate because I love Insomnia, but the app simply does not work. I use a 2020 iPhone SE - not an old phone at all - and the app does not fit properly on the screen. Text is cut off in places and the buttons sporadically don’t work. During the CookieMagic BOGO, I straight up gave up one night because of the intense lag and how it sent me back to the beginning repeatedly. I tried against the next morning and after many tries, I finally got it to work - but it shouldn’t have taken more than one try. To top it all off, sometimes my daily free cookie wouldn’t be usable. What’s the point of installing the app and paying for CookieMagic if I can’t expect to use the specials or get my free cookie? I’ve cancelled my CookieMagic subscription and uninstalled the app. I hope these problems get fixed.

App doesn’t work for me and hours are not good at location. App just shows spinning cookie. Will not add my payment info. I’ve missed out on so many rewards because I had to go in person and the staff at the new Fairfax location don’t know how to add my rewards account. The local Fairfax location opens at 11. I get they are trying to get the local college but so many offices would kill for these cookies. I can’t leave late to get to work late. If I could get these at 8 or 9am I’d be placing over $100 every day. Also- what college kid is going to pay $2.50 for one cookie when they can then on campus as part of their meal at the all you can eat cafe? They should open earlier to accommodate families and businesses. You know- people who actually have money to buy these cookies.

Online ordering never works. Every time I try to order online for pickup, the error message pops up saying to schedule 15 minutes or longer in advance. It is automatically set to 15 minutes. So I try to schedule it for 30 minutes in advance. Same message. I have even set it for 3 hours in advance and it still doesn’t work. My store never has the vegan cookies on hand, so I order in advance to skip the wait time. But the app makes that impossible when it never works.

Efficient App + Delicious Cookies = Customer Appreciation. I used to use safari to order my cookies because we get bombarded with app choices on iPhones but this one is a real treat (pun intended)! The app was super efficient and it took much less time to order than it would have through safari! Sorry Apple. Plus using my “cookie dough” (the rewards cash) was super easy and took my price does drastically. Apparently I order a lot of cookies. Oh and try the chocolate peanut butter cup or the peanut butter chip if you haven’t, you won’t be disappointed!!!

Disappointed. Ordered a cookie after work thinking I’d get it in half an hour, waited over an hour for the tracker to only tell me that my cookie had been baking for the entire time. Then waited on the phone for 15 minutes to be transferred to a customer service line in a different state. The customer service rep only said the driver would be picking my order up as soon as he got back and couldn’t tell me when that would be or how much longer I would have to wait. Now I have to wait 3-5 business days for a refund. Will be using a local business and orderup from now on.

Questions. Hey so not really a review since I’ve never tried them, I was actually going to place an order because I’ve heard about insomnia cookies being really helpful & yum I actually have insomnia myself but I just can’t find anywhere not even in the description about HOW it’s actually helps with insomnia.. I’ve even been looking in the comments and no ones mentioning how it’s actually helped them sleep or calmed them.. SOMEONE pls tell me if they are actually for insomnia or is that just the name of the brand ????

Good cookies, bad app. My family loves these cookies, in order to get and use most deals you have to order through the app. Ordering would be so much easier without trying to navigate. Choose cookies, attempt to add to cart, choose pick up or delivery, choose pickup, back to the menu, check cart, cart is empty. Choose cookies, add to cart, cart is empty. Choose cookies add to cart, now all 3 orders show. Delete duplicates, all cookies accounted for, pay, get email, ordered duplicates. Attempt to call store, it’s a call center, they can’t help. Decide to be smart and choose pickup ahead of time. Choose cookies, attempt to add to cart, pickup or delivery, choose pickup, cart is empty, add cookies again.

I can’t order anything.. I spent 10 dollars for CookieMagic which I would’ve completely been fine with if I could actually order some cookies. Every time I submit an order I can’t have it delivered ASAP because I need to change the order to allow the cookies to bake, and if I change it to any other time, I still get red text telling me to move my delivery time by 15 minutes, and the time goes to 00:00, even if it is two days from now. I don’t really understand why, but also every single time I manage to successfully order, nobody is available to drive in the area and I get refunded, and I don’t get any notification on the app or by text, it’s just through my email. Either way, I can’t even rate the cookies because they haven’t refunded me the 70 dollars yet, and the UX on the app is extremely frustrating. Try somewhere else for a better in-app experience.

The bare minimum. The app does the bare minimum of letting you place and track your orders, along with viewing your loyalty rewards, but it does not let you use Apple Pay, or even auto-fill using it. All the promotions are still sent through email and cannot be viewed through the app, so while I can order, I still have to do all the other work myself searching through many different apps instead of having the functionality just be integrated with the app like every other quality food service.

Great app, needs better tracker. I like how the app lets you “track” the progress of the diabetes inducing orgasmic warm goodness coming my way. Unfortunately, if you close out or click away from the tracker page, then the app loses the ability to track. You would have had to written down the tracking numbers. My blood sugar levels are way too low to have to deal with numbers higher than that of a Sugar Rush order. Even through the order history is there, that only allows you to reorder that original order.

Amazing cookies. I went to get cookies one night & ive been hooked ever since!!! They have the best soft wam rich & gooey cookies I have EVER had! They are such a treat once you try them you too will be hooked. The staff are awesome so helpful & pleasant I really appreciate when I go somewhere & they treat me like I’m a valued customer!!!!!! I love this place & the fact that they are open VERY late is definitely a plus when the late night munchies hit you have a place to go to or get delivered. I can’t say enough about INSOMNIA COOKIES 😍

No options not good. There are specialty cookies that I wanted to order and volume and there are no volume discounts there are no box sets or any other way to add them other than one cookie at a time I don’t like that. Also there was a coupon out there for 20% off I tried to use it and the website would not allow it I ordered exactly what it said to order on the website a 2for cookie gift box and yet it would not take the 20% off doesn’t make a customer happy

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM.. You know, it’s very sad to see a company that I used to love so much be on the decline. Every time I order, I order an ice cream and 4+ cookies. I tip the deliverers and it’s a good experience. Tonight, I ordered my usual and was delivered 3 cookies, when my receipt clearly says 4. How does something like this get overlooked? Maybe because the people in the shop are on their phones, standing around talking, not doing things to produce their best work. Now the missing cookie is not really the problem, it’s the customer service. I call insomnia cookies to let them know about the mistake and to see what they’re going to do about it. The lady on the receiving end was EXTREMELY rude. Extremely. She almost made it seem as if it was my fault that THEY made the mistake. Really? Then she said if I wanted my extra cookie, it would take an hour, really?! Smh. I’m putting my money into your business and you want to tell me a cookie is going to take an hour? I definitely will not be buying from them ever again. How incredibly rude and ridiculous to make a valued customer feel like that? In a world where a lot of people are unemployed, I’m employing this company and they want to tell me I must wait an hour for THEIR mistake? Smh. BOYCOTTED. Get it together.

Cookies are wonderful but…. The cookies are amazing!!!! However…. Have ordered a couple times recently when order will say baking, or out for delivery & never arrives. Call takes you to a call center who then will tell you the store is closed. They do refund your order, but an update to the app not allowing you to order at all would be preferred. They offer you no compensation for their error. I would suggest either fixing the app to not allow ordering at all if the store is closed, or at least compensate your customers accordingly for bad customer service.

Sad and frustrating :(. Honestly, this is one of the worst apps I’ve used which is saying a lot in comparison to the awful games that come out sometimes. Unfortunately the app has too many problems to list, but I think the biggest one is that it actually doesn’t connect to your account at all, even when it says you’re signed in. In order to have your account working you need you email to be set up in your profile, yet you’re unable to add an email address even though it’s the only required piece of information. The cookie tracker doesn’t work at all. And recently, the app repeatedly says my card has been flagged for fraud when the purchase wasn’t even declined with my bank and it’s simply not true. It’s hard because the rest of the business is functioning well, but in this day and with their emphasis on delivery it’s hard when there’s no functioning mobile presence.

Great cookies imperfect app. Annoying time consuming problems with the app itself. If you change from delivery or carry out it clears your cart even if there is only 1 store near you. Dead scrolling zones on the order review page can leave you flicking up all over the screen until you get lucky and it goes down to the place order button. The modify order button doesn’t seem to work because it doesn’t update the order so you have to remove the product and go find it in the menu.

Insomnia Cookies is the Best! But the app isn’t.. I absolutely love Insomnia Cookies and I order almost every week. The cookies are super warm too! The one complaint I have is that the app has a feature where you can track your order, but this feature has never worked for me and I’ve ordered over 25 times. Every time I try to track my order it says “baking” and never moves on to the next step of delivery - so essentially this feature is useless. I would love if they added an actual GPS tracker somehow. It’s not only inaccurate but it simply doesn’t work.

Buggy. I always have some sort of issue with the app. I’ve been trying to place an order with the Norman, OK store. Every time I pick a time, it automatically resets to midnight for the same day, and therefore says I need to pick a time more than 15 minutes from now. I tried to change the date to possibly tomorrow but that didn’t change it either. I’ve ordered a few times before but my first order didn’t count towards my account. The one time I did pick up cookies from the store, the lights were off almost like the store was closed. I checked anyway since I had already paid for the cookies. Sure enough there were employees there working in the dark.

Orders. My orders come in wrong, just recently I ordered 6 mini chocolate chip and got 3 of those and 3 of the red velvet. I am a big fan and I love Insomnia Cookies, just need to always have milk. My biggest complaint is when I don’t get my order like no one got it. I’m pretty sure it happened to me 2 to 3 times I got my money back once but other then that little hiccup y’all got a great thing going, if you were stocks I’ll be buying. Thank you

SO many glitches!. I love Insomnia Cookies but the app needs to be updated desperately. I can't view my previous orders on the mobile app anymore, they don't load at all and when I signed up for the monthly Cookie Magic subscription I could only use it on the website, it didn't even register on the app that I was a member. Tracking never works correctly -- it usually says baking until I've received my order, then it will change. However the map is completely pointless because it zooms in on a random location not even close to where I am and doesn't ever show where the delivery driver is or even a location close to it. It's odd that they can't figure this technology out when Domino's tracking does exactly what Insomnia's app claims to do. I've also been kicked out of the app and it's frozen on me a few times while trying to place an order. Please update this!

Insomnia Cookies is the BEST!. I order no less than 1 x month but sometimes up to 4 times! Cookies ALWAYS come warm literally as if they were just pulled from the oven. And they are truly delicious. They taste high quality not cheap and stale but homemade and they’re not tiny either! The ice cream is always great as well! Tastes like a good quality not junk commercial stuff bought in bulk. Even if it is they’re stocking the right stuff! Prices are insane for what you get AND how late you can order! My ONLY wish is they would fill the small cups for the cookie-which completely bc often its full and the other half the time it isn’t. And that they would offer the same ice creams and cookies ALL the time. With the exception of the holiday themed which I understand. But the flavors of ice cream should always be available in my opinion. Nevertheless I always order anyway! Also, love you get points every order. I’ve had 2-3 orders free minus delivery & tip from my points. They have great daily offers and I always take advantage! If you want something sweet at night order insomnia. It will never disappoint!

Can’t figure out why..... The app only gives me a “pick up” option, even though I live well within the delivery area. UPDATE: Thanks for the reply (weeks after the fact) re: contacting customer service by email, but I’ve done that already too. And after several back and forth emails I’ve determined that your customer service dept just doesn’t care. This is cookie delivery, not brain surgery. This hassle just isn’t worth my time. I am, however, spreading the word about this experience. That is worth my time.

Frustrating app. I spent 20 minutes trying to get this app to work, and finally deleted it in frustration. I was trying to order cookies for my girlfriend and her family. Every time I navigated away from the screen, or press, one of the up or down arrows to change something, it would forget everything I’ve already entered. When I tried to pay, Apple Pay wouldn’t work. After re-entering things, at least half a dozen times from scratch, including delivery, instructions, and special note, since it was a gift, I gave up

Makes my Day. I love insomnia cookies with my whole heart. Any time I’m feeling sad, depressed, lonely, or even if I’ve just not had the best day, I know I can go on the app, pick out something sweet and simple or something crazy to turn my day around. Anyone living near an insomnia cookies should definitely get this app. Quick and easy order, plus it saves your payment info. One of my faves.

App is trash after ordering. The cookies are consistently delicious. Delivery in my area is never “20-30 minutes”, more like 60-70, but I think that’s a local issue. There is no way to actually track the cookies on the app—they are forever “baking” even after the text comes that they’ve left the bakery and will arrive in 20-30 minutes. Fix the app or decide to get rid of the tracking. Calling the customer service line only leads to a central line, not the specific store, which can give me no information about my order. The one star is for the cookies alone.

Delivery issues. Overall The only main issue I have with the app is the delivery portion. No matter what, everytime I put my address in, it does not keep it to my address. Instead it goes to x-xx street and not specifically where I add the delivery for. Because of this, I have had my orders delivered to the wrong place twice, but haven’t called for a refund as the driver will go back to get my order for me. This is just something I believe needs to be patched due to convenience.

Sets Poor Delivery Expectations. I LOVE INSOMNIA COOKIES, but the app and cookie tracker is poorly designed with no expected delivery time listed on the tracker on confirmation email which makes the tracking process much less helpful. I waited over an hour for a status update for my last order and called the call center only for them to tell me they couldn’t get in touch with the store to find out what happened. My first time ordering was fine, but every order through the app since has been worse. My order today while it showed up very promptly, it showed up while the tracker said my order was still baking even after refreshing it several times bc I wanted to make sure I’d be back from walking my dog by the time it came. I will no longer be using the app to make purchases. Serious updates needed.

I detest this app. Let me just say how much I hate this app. There is a helpful GPS feature that auto-populates your delivery address. It always gets my address wrong. Then I have to manually type my exact address in. If that alone was it then that would be a minor annoyance but what happens is that GPS kicks in again after you go to the next screen to finalize your order and….changes it to the wrong address…. Then I have to change it again. And again. Like three times until I submit it and then must make sure the submitted delivery has the correct address. The most recent order I did NOT catch and I had to then call Insomnia to have them manually change the address of my order to prevent it from going to the wrong place. Now I have great neighbors. Very honest who will walk a package over to me if it’s misdelivered, but cookies….no way. The temptation is too great. So Insomnia. Fix your overzealous app and stop it from constantly trying to deliver my orders to the wrong address!!!

Dessertlicious. I just love insomnia cookies. Cookies are absolutely yum. My personal favorites are oatmeal walnut chocolate, birthday cookie and macadamia white chocolate cookies. Plus I really love how they play with flavors during thanksgiving, Christmas and other festivities. Do try their apple pie cookie during thanksgiving, it’s like warm and cozy feeling wrapped up in a cookie. Just love love insomnia cookies and their late night deliveries!

stole my money. This app does not work and the website isn’t any better. I decided to try and change my payment method so I could renew my cookie magic. It won’t let me. The number pad just stays up instead of letting me confirm. So I went to the website. There’s no option to change my payment method on the website. So I added cookie magic to my cart. I added my payment method in the cart. I clicked “place order” on the cookie magic subscription “customer card cannot be found” I made the mistake of clicking again because it didn’t make sense; my card had money on it. I decided to check my bank account and they had put preauthorization charges on my account TWICE but did not renew my membership. It’s unacceptable that they make it so difficult to contact them about issues with the higher ups. Don’t use this app and maybe don’t even buy from the store.

Love Insomnia, but improve the app. I love ordering insomnia but haven’t much since I moved off campus. I guess the apartment building is hard to find (although other deliveries have no problem), but there isn’t enough space in the app to give directions that would help. The tracking feature gets all screwed up a lot and so figuring out where they’re lost is hard. A driver didn’t even contact me once, just dropped it off at the wrong building that even had the wrong number on the door, but I took me forever to figure that out.

Review for App - not cookies. These cookies are AMAZING. 5🌟. HOWEVER, I can only order them about 20% of the time I’m craving them because the app has so many problems. It used to be that the checkout page stalled. (I gave up on about 5 orders during this “era” of the app). Apparently checkout is fixed (per updated app notes) but now all prices are 0.00 and so you can’t even get to the checkout screen. Seriously this is such a good product - but the unfunctional app kills most of my would-be purchases. I was craving these yesterday and thought “ surely they’ll fix this issue by tomorrow“ After all it’s been nearly 24 hours. But nope., App is still not functional. 😢

It’s an app to buy cookies from the store. I mean it can’t really be any better, but it can be a lot worse. This app does the job man. It lets you order cookies, shows you pricing per cookies, gives you ordering options, has an accurate GPS mapping service, and most of all.... WORKS. If anybody complains about this it isn’t about the app, it’s about the cookies or delivery which are... separate from the app. All in all I love cookies man and this makes it super easy to order some, know what I’m getting, and the general ETA of delivery. Nice.

Having some trouble-but the cookies are great. I always seem to have trouble entering in the correct address. I go to my account settings. Enter address, “star” that address as a favorite. When ordering, I can never select that “starred” address. I always write a note to the delivery person and insomnia calls me to confirm every time. Annoying, but it helps that there are deliiooccooouussss cookies at the end of this.

Love Insomnia Cookies. Great cookies! I have bought other popular cookies from other stores that are local but why I continue to return to Insomnia Cookies is the great variety of cookies to choose from. Great flavor cookies. Also their cookies remind me of cookies you would make. Their delivery time is pretty good. We are empty nesters so it’s easy and convenient when my husband and I want a little sweet to call and have some cookies delivered verses making them.

It’s good but some fixes need to be made.. The app is pretty good but there are a few bugs such as: when I try to order my past favorite order it won’t go through because it says I need to enter my name but there isn’t a slot to put my name. Sometimes when I try to do the order the normal way of manually selecting the items when I’m in the checkout menu the address is missing. Lastly if there can be an option to add text alerts when the cookies are on the way and also when the driver is on your street.

Love their cookies. Overall great experience I have ordered a bunch times with no problems , but the last two times I ordered for whatever reason I had issues. Maybe about two week ago I tried to order snickerdoodle which is my fav and it wasn’t listed on the website , I called but you don’t get the store when you call you get a call center. I was told they were sold out mind you it was 12pm and they open at 11am it’s minor but a little annoying. Hope that not an ongoing thing . Yesterday when I tried to order they didn’t offer delivery service , not sure what that was about still annoying . I still love there cookies and recommend you to try them.

Please fix. It’s super-annoying that you are made to pick the pick up time at the beginning of the process. Inevitably by the time you pick your cookies, the app makes you choose a later pick up time. If you could have the pick up time selection at the END of the order, it would work much better. And… if you are inputting a new credit card & your pick up time is invalid, the app doesn’t remember all the credit card info you just inputted. You have to go all the way back to re-select the pick up time & then hurry to input your new credit card info before it decides to prompt you for a new pickup time again. Grrr.

Late Night Munchies. The main menu advertises one price, but then when you add that item to your cart, it increases in price. For example, the 6-pack is listed for $8.80 on the menu. THEN, when you add it to your cart, it goes up to $9.50. Luckily, I’m a fatty and still purchased, and not only purchased but Googled for a coupon that made up for the price discrepancy due to this error. 10/10 would recommend, but please fix your pricing. But no hard feelings.

Over The Top!!. Its hard sending your baby girl away to college but the one thing that makes it easier for me and makes life for her more tolerable is getting warm Insomnia cookies!! When she gets a warm, yummy delivery she knows that her mom is thinking of her and giving her the next best thing to moms homemade cookies.... Heck She'd probably say Insomnia is better. Cookies are delish, delivery is awesome and we love everything about Insomnia!!

App Getting Better. Service is always amazing, and the app is getting better. Scrolling up and down doesn’t always work. Remaining points currently displays as “points/100 until next award” but should be “[100-points] until next reward.” Cookie tracker needs a progress bar (peep some of the pizza apps). Need Face ID authentication for stored payment. Need more room for delivery instructions since covid. Consider preferred drop-off sites for schools, hospitals, and military installations. Address book is kinda clunky.

Great cookies, poor app. Love their cookies, and although we had a problem with our order once, they quickly gave us a refund once contacted by email. But the app! I'm having so many problems with it. Every time I attempt to use it, the app kicks me out to their website to enter my email and password, then a "verification" picture test of how many fire engines or logs there are in pictures (INCREDIBLY insulting and annoying on a retail site), and then I have to enter my address and credit card information again even though I'm signed in. I give up on using the app. There's too many hoops for me to leap through just to get cookies.

Poorly designed app. Update: Ordered again and last time, it did not let me sign in with my already existing account. It says no account found but when I try to sign up, it says there’s already an account. This is really annoying. Who are the developers of this app? Why can’t you improve it? What a crappy app!! I just placed an order and you can’t automatically track it. Once you exit, you lose the order you placed and you need a tracking number. Can’t even log in with Facebook like I did on the website. Now I don’t know where my order is. I want to just cancel it and get a refund. I will never be using this again.

GREAT COOKIES TERRIBLE WEBSITE!. When I have the munchies and I am in desperate need of these crack cookies! The website will not locate my local store ... I would call the local store but if you look up your local store number on google it gives you their 1-800 customer service number to call reps that aren't able to transfer you to the store ... or take your order :( I'm truly , truly sadden by the lack of user friendliness. With all that being said I love these cookies so much that I finally got the website to work on my phone but they defiantly need to do updates .., the website glitches allot especially the cookie tracker

Amazing. The cookies are always fresh and yummy, I’ve never had stale cookies from them, I used to work at an ice cream/ cookie shop so I can’t imagine how difficult it is making hundreds of new batches everyday. The drivers always follow instructions & are super kind on the phone, I really love this place, all the workers need a raise asap! I also live pretty far from this location & they still manage to arrive so fast it’s wild ! Thank you sm, Sahara x

Tracking does not work. I like having the ability to order cookies online but the tracker does not work. It constantly says “baking”. There have been several orders that have taken over an hour and a half to be delivered. It would’ve been helpful to see where my cookies were. The last time, my cookies were suppose to be delivered, they were delivered to the wrong place. The tracking would’ve been helpful.

Easy to order. We have ordered twice through the app and it was very easy, the tracker still doesn’t give you much information but the delivery drivers are always kind and call when they are outside. Overall great experience !

Improved!. I’m delighted that they seem to have fixed the problem I was having, the app finally lists ALL the available flavors! Not only that but they listened to my request to have m&m cookies with lots of m&ms since previously I was lucky to get a cookie with TWO. The location on the UWS made my Monday night a whole lot better!

Better than the Website. This app is so easy to use. If you’re a college student that is blessed to have an insomnia close by, this app is a must-have. When you’re slumped and craving something sweet, you just gotta whip this bad boy out and order away. Prepping your order less than 3 minutes after your cravings started.

Good business, needs better app. Hi, love the company and everything, but the interface is ugly and flawed. Things aren’t where they should be intuitively. The ordering process makes me feel anxious that I have the wrong location or that I have preexisting items in my cart. Also, more college discounts wouldn’t hurt. Love it though, just needs little tweaks :))

App won’t scan, customer service awful. The store is fine. The app is garbage. Tried using it and they scanned my phone but the rewards never showed up. Contacted them and sent them pic of receipt and they kicked it to customer service or somebody and it’s been over 3 weeks and multiple emails and I can’t get anyone to contact me no more fix it. If you have a good franchise near you give them business but don’t bother with App, it doesn’t work and no one there wants to fix it.

A great way to brighten your students day!. This is an excellent way to make sure your student knows their family and friends care very much about them. A way to congratulate them on their hard work. The cookies are always warm and a very welcome site to your student. Thank you for being there when I cannot.

Great cookies. App errors.. App used to work, broken now. I can’t save a new address because of an error that asks me to put in an address when it’s already been entered. I can’t order cookies to be delivered anymore, which means I can’t order cookies anymore since I work at the hospital and can’t leave mid-shift. Wish the old version was back

Insomnia cookies. Yeah there’s hotbox in town. But my cookies from insomnia cookies have 100% of the time been warm when I got them. I do live in Columbia but they do deliver fast for delivery. Wee bit pricy, but I’m a wee bit too lazy to make my own, so give em a try. Sign up for their emails, they always have discount codes in them. 🍪

Cookies are great - App is not. First - I love Insomnia Cookies. But their app is not user friendly. It lags when adding items to the cart and the checkout page is terrible. Whenever I’m typing instructions for the delivery driver, the message box kicks me out and I have to reselect it to finish my message. Multiple times! And scrolling down the page locks up a lot, preventing me from placing my order. I wish the app was fixed, or that Insomnia was on a better app like Door Dash.

Dank enough. If I’m being completely honest, which I am. These cookies are decent but I feel as though they are only popular because they are delivered. Honestly I feel like I could go to the store and get a three dollar dozen of any cookie I want and it would be just as good. All in all though they still got my money so I guess they were still good enough.

Tracking has never worked for me. Cookies taste good but tracking doesn’t work. Either zooms into some where random into the us or just shows the entire US. Order is always ‘baking’ and never shows if it’s on its way or any sort of status update. Sometimes cookies take up to 2 hours to arrive or sometimes not at all and you have to call. I even live within the same neighborhood so it’s not across town or anything and don’t understand why it’s the slowest delivery process in the city. Developers please fix order tracking.

Westport location. I had a horrible experience with the manager that works nights. She called me to let me know they were out of ice cream I selected so I asked her if there was anything she could do because I don’t like any other ice cream ‘s. She said ” no “and to call customer service. I wait 45 mins then call to see where my order was. She told them she called me 5 times to try to deliver my order which was a LIE!! The only call from her I got was about ice cream. So I paid for food I did not receive and got nothing in return. Worst app ever. Never wasting anymore of my money.

Deliveries. Great cookies.... But it would be so helpful if you are running late on deliveries to let the customer know in some way. There is no way to check on an order except by calling an 800 number in some other city. Very frustrating, especially late at night when the customer doesn’t know for sure if a (late) order is coming (or not). Thanks.

Complete garbage app. I tried ordering on their website and it was a miserable experience. It kept ignoring my selections and was way confusing. I thought the app would be better. Nope! I tried ordering a simple 6 pack of cookies. The app kept ignoring my inputs and after adding 5 cookies it would not let me add a 6th to complete my order. Screw insomnia. They make it impossible to order and the experience has made me never want to buy from them again.

Terrible tracking. You guys need to do better with tracking. The only thing it says is “baking” and then an hour and half later “it’s the final count down to cookies” that’s it. Doesn’t update you on if the cookies are on the way or if the driver has left the location with your cookies. Nothing

The app is super convenient!. Love the app. As a mom, it’s a great way to bribe veggies down the kids’ throats without keeping cookies in the house all the time. My only suggestion is that each item have a picture above it (for parents to show kids who can’t read yet so that they can pick their own cookie type). Thanks!

App crashes. Every time I make an order and go to checkout, my order doesn’t go through and it says error instead. I tried making an order on the website and it did the same thing. I had to deactivate my first account to make a new account in hopes that it would work but no it didn’t. I don’t know why my order won’t go through even when I checked to make sure everything was right and it was.

Great app. I love insomnia cookies they are there is many options and there’s also many different flavors to choose from there, so so much is cookies there’s also ice cream and etc. these cookies were very delicious and very well cooked and very warm. I like caramel cookies where their cookies are very uncooked and pretty cold insomnia cookies are the way to go.

Loyal customer. I love IC. I order frequently 2-4 a week for delivery. Sometimes the cookies are under baked and that’s a real drag. Sometimes they take forever to arrive, which is weird since the delivery perimeter is so small... however, I love having the cookies at my home. I would for sure refer them. Wish the rewards program was better.

Great App, just need 1 fix. Insomnia Cookies are great! And the app helps you get exactly what you want. The only thing that I wish they would improve is the cookie tracker. It would be so much better if they implemented an active tracker similar to the one that Domino’s has.

Yum. I chose the delivery option and it got to my location in a decent amount of time. Everything tasted great! The only reason that this app didn’t get a 5 star rating is that it would not allow me to change the address upon check out. I had to delete the app (so it would enable my location) and go back into the App Store to redownload the app.

Amazing. OMG one of your delivery drivers just dropped off some brownies off At Waffle House where I work I’ve never even heard of you guys till tonight and these are some delicious brownies! You just gained a new customer!!!!! Not sure who the driver was but thank you so much it really hit the spot!!!!

Disappointed. Super disappointed with the explanation of this App. After using it my Sympathy box of cookies was delivered through Fed Ex 24 hours later cold on recipients porch. Had I understood it clearly as I did when I reviewed it on their website after the fact it would have been ordered different. The tracking didn’t work and it was impossible to contact anyone through the App. A completely different experience through the service itself. The App was not so easy to navigate. Do yourself a favor. Go to the website.

FANTASTIC COOKIES!. Our office ordered several dozen of these to celebrate national championship cookie day A little over a week ago. These are the most delicious cookies! I liked them so much I called and placed an order for my husband’s office and they delivered them still warm. Now he is a fan! I have since ordered twice since August 4...well, three times counting today!

The best delivery cookies!!!. My family absolutely loves these cookies!! Every single flavor is delicious. My only issue is that the cookie tracker never works. I may or may not get a text saying that my order is baking and on the way. If you guys could fix those two issues, I’d change my rating if you could fix those problems.

GREAT APP! GREAT COOKIES!!. The app is super friendly and easy to use. The cookies are amazing and always fresh and hot when they arrive. I highly recommend them! I highly recommend signing up for their cookie dough points if you order, the rewards are worth it. If they mess up they have always fixed it for me as well! I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

College student bday same-day delivery!. Our daughter’s college is out of state so we don’t get to celebrate her bday with her, but she loved receiving a bday cookie! Order in the morning, they deliver up until 3 am! FYI: They ran out of bday design and do not write personal messages on the cookie cake, but they were sweet enough to offer to write a message on the box! Awesome!

Best cookies in Los Angeles. I first ordered insomnia cookies while working at metro division 7 down the street in West Hollywood because a coworker was bragging about how good they were so I went and got some they were and still are the best cookies I have have ever tried you will not be disappointed I wasn’t.

Good but bad hours. They seem to almost never be available for delivery and are only open during business hours... both of which I feel like defeats the whole point of ‘insomnia ‘ , which I used to love bc they’d be available at any time of night and would deliver fast. Other than that the app is great and the cookies are great.

Glitchy App. I love insomnia cookies, but the app is very glitchy. My points never show up and prices all say $0.00 until I get to checkout. When typing any sort of directions the keyboard retracts after a few characters. The app is also slow and crashes a lot. Tracking in the app does not work at all, youre better off using the email they send you. Please fix the app to work properly.

Take Off The GPS Function. I’m a delivery driver working at the USC store, and the GPS function is often incorrect (which I understand since it depends on their phone’s internet connection) and customers report that it’s “difficult or impossible” to change it. Please make it more user friendly or remove it altogether. This happens multiple times on every shift I work.

It’s ridiculous the app is so bad. The most recent update broke the app for me. I can’t enter payment information. The Apple/Google pay buttons are blank white buttons now and they don’t do anything. The page to enter credit/debit info stalls out. And the app never has actually let you save your card info, so you can’t select that either. Completely useless app, this is a delivery-based cookie company for god’s sake

Worst Food Delivery App Ever.. This app is so poorly put together that it hurts. It had me check out without showing me the total and it added on a $1.25 tip without asking me or giving me the option to raise or reduce it so after a headache with he online department who immediately canceled the order, they still showed up and the poor delivery guy had to go back just to bring me the same order with the proper price. I always have issues with it.

Terrible Platform. The app makes it difficult to do the things that should be easy. After entering my name, address, and other info, the app would not let me proceed until I entered my name. It also does a poor job using saved addresses, as you have to click on the a saved address before each order(even if it’s your default address) otherwise the app will try to guess your address for you. This combined with a lot of other small inconveniences made for a really poor experience for me, and I ended up just using my laptop.

Great! Only complaint is tracking.. 90% of the time it’s fine but sometimes tracking doesn’t work or tell you anything. It usually says baking, on its way, and you’re next. Then when they arrive they call. Recently none of that has worked and the delivery guy didn’t call. He rang our doorbell 20 times and woke up my roommates which sucked. But the app itself is fine.

Why can’t I edit my address?. This app was very user friendly up until I placed my order and I had never put my address in the app before and somehow it located me but to the wrong address? It was also shaded and Gray to where I could not edit the text that was already written there, therefore I could not put in my proper address. I ended up putting it in the delivery notes but just thought this is a glitch the app creators should be aware of.

Awesome cookies. The cookies here are awesome and always fresh.. my four kids cleared a box of 18 one day I was craving and left me none.. when I asked why y’all didn’t save me at least one, my 4yr old replied, they go good with milk daddy!!! On my next off day I went back for another box of 18 and I didn’t share🤣😂😎

App much better than customer service. After calling customer service and going directly to a store, i basically gave up on ordering the supermoon cake because i felt very attacked with rude remarks. The app is the only way you should go about ordering. Less inconvenient and you don’t have to deal with annoyingly rude people. That is all.

Location Tracking Poor. Very excited to have Insomnia Cookies in South Bend! Unfortunately, the website and app make ordering cookies to an on-campus location difficult. The website and app automatically choose your current location, and do not allow you to change the location assigned. It also does not recognize all buildings on campus. Problematic and a bit of the pain, but at least the cookies taste good.

Resent stolen order. Great customer service involving a stolen order! Delivery man did everything correctly, it was just somehow lost in the mix at the front desk while some things were also being dealt with. Was told I could get the order resent if I bought another order within the next day. Fine by me 👍🏼

Runs horribly on my phone. I’m a fan of the insomnia location (I’m assuming you are too if you’re looking at reviews of the app for it) but the app itself is horrible. I have an iPhone 10 and for whatever reason it runs extremely slow, it often takes way longer than it needs to when loading and creating an order can last much longer and is very annoying to have to deal with when I just want to get some cookies

Takes your money before telling you the final price. I just made a purchase on this app and it told me it was around $9 including tax. When I pressed the next button, which said “place order” I thought it would take me to a final screen and display the final price before charging me. Instead I get hit with a $13 charge to my bank account and the breakdown of the bill is shown to me AFTER I’VE ALREADY PAID. If I had seen that it was going to be $13, I would not have bought the item.

Insomnia cookies denton. Tried to go into the store to order some cookies and milk and one of the employees said he couldn’t serve me because I didn’t have a face mask. I’m sorry I’m wearing a blanket over my head and it’s wrapped around my face, twice. Not one employee stopped this guy from not servicing me. I went to order online and they took 10 minutes to get me connected with anyone. When someone answered they were another state. Great cookies, bad service. 2 stars 🤝

Easy, fun, reliable!. With my daughter being 3 states away I love that I can order warm cookies and have them sent to her - for whatever occasion or no occasion as all. We’ve used the app to place our orders for 3 years now and she’s always received them! Thanks for a great product and service!

Broken again. I had an issue before where regardless of the time I input the app automatically defaulted to midnight of whichever day. Insomnia devs had fixed it (or so I thought) but the issue is back again. To add onto that problem now the one store I go to no longer looks like it’s able to accept orders. It’s quite frustrating when their best deals are usually app only.

Love company, app/coupons not working. LOVE insomnia, concept is genius. I couldn’t apply a coupon on my most recent order because of some sort of glitch 😩. 20% off if you spend over $15 but then when you do place order over $15 (not including tax, fees, etc) and the coupon is applied it won’t let you check out because your total is then below $15! Ugh! That’s disappointing.

OMGYES!. This app makes it so easy for me to have all the cookies. I love how I don’t have to think much and can just click when I’m spending “quality time” with my friends. I don’t even have to leave the party to bring an extra delightful snack. Thank you for making my lack of health so accessible.

Great cookies! Service is just okay.. I have bought cookies here several times and they have been amazing (almost) every time. A couple times the delivery driver was very late and cookies were cold, but the customer service office was incredibly apologetic and helpful. I do not recommend ordering cookies ahead and picking up because it has never been ready on time. Overall, this is a delicious late night dessert!
