Developers please make it better. It has ridiculous modes that don’t make any sense like how shockwaves in ice mode didn’t break the ice. Battles are way to hard, don’t know if it’s adaptable or not. If it is, developers have overdid it, making the battles either too hard or easy. I have battled two times and it is at a level where I have to guess numbers in order to even have a chance to win. 16x16 isn’t even sudoku anymore, this game makes sudoku look trash. Special modes like killer and ice also isn’t sudoku so they shouldn’t even be part of the game! I’m very disappointed, think you should make it more simple for it to be traditional sudoku, the way it should be. Also, events doesn’t even do me any good. Another thing is you shouldn’t remind everyone if they make a mistake. If you do this, it will engage people to guess more, which shouldn’t be the way sudoku is played. Hints and other cheats loses meaning to sudoku and shouldn’t even be a thing. PLEASE just make this game a lot more like sudoku instead of making it a complete stranger to sudoku community.

Beware-Play a Different App!. This game is really great! Got me hooked, made me feel competitive, trying to improve my score and challenge myself. Then the ad monsters started interfering IN MY GAMES!!! My it’s that my iPhone can’t handle the game and the ads at the same time, I don’t know. I just know that my screen-game-will freeze and will respond to no input but the ad keeps running at the bottom of my screen, and then 30 seconds later, my screen jumps to lifeAND TIME jumps ahead! Now it’s doing it over and over to the point I give up. I can’t compete against my time if my time is messed up by ads constantly!!! I don’t mind between games but not during games and blowing my speed.

Great design but app is a scam. I love sudoku but it is a scam please read: Their timed events are the best part about the app. You get to see how high you rank based on each level you pass. The numbers of players are NOT accurate. They are fake numbers which makes me not want to play at all. We do not know how many people are actually playing. Here is how I know: Before the game was starting in my time zone I changed the time in my settings to see how many players already started based off of different countries and time differences. I went to this app and the event said the amount of participants were around 20,000 then later in the day I did it again to see how many now and it was less than 8,000 total participants. Please explain this? Why would there be less people over time if the amount of people playing can only go up? This is in addition to the horrific amount of ads. This is just disappointing. They need to understand what the users like and need in an app and listen to them AND CHANGE. As someone who works in user experience you NEED to listen to all these reviews and make it a more genuine app. There’s a reason candy crush was so big, they were one of the few gaming apps that truly listened to what their users need and in turn users trusted the app. Be honest to your users. It’s a shame what people will do for money and with 0 integrity.

Sudoku review. I am an avid user of this app. It was working great until there was recently a major redo of the way the screen was setup. I really disliked the changes that were made, but have since adjusted. But this new version frequently freezes my screen and does an odd rollover when starting. Also, you used to be able to run your finger over 2 or more numbers to add to a box, in notes, and now you can’t any longer. I would have given the old version 5 stars.

Just an Idea + too many ads. I just learned how to play Soduku from this app which is amazing. The only downside is the constant ads, every like 5 minutes I get an ad, it just gets a little annoying. It would also be cool to add an option to cross out boxes while you are trying to figure out where a number goes than you place it like you would normally and then remove all the “X”s in the boxes and continue. I just feel like that would help me complete the puzzle easier without the constant mistakes and then having to watch an ad to fix that 1 mistake. Other than that this app is kinda addicting.

Sudoku. This game is the go to game when I am going on a road trip and have nothing to do. It challenges my mind and I feel so much better when I finish the puzzle. It is a calming game and getting challenged at the same time. I love this game because you can choose your own level. I am new to sudoku, so I choose the easy level. This game is extremely fun and I recommend for everyone to try it.

I absolutely love this game!. This is the game that I play the most every single day! It has the perfect amount of challenge and various difficulty levels so as you get better you can challenge yourself more. You can also keep track of your progress with the record scoring. It tracks if and how many mistakes you make per game. It’s a fantastic game! To all the others. Please only review the game itself. Don’t simply complain about ads. Ads are advertisements. Advertisements are commercials. Commercials are commerce and commerce is money. They need money to make the game so complaining about ads is just a waste of everyone’s time.

Purchasing meant no ads…unfortunately that’s not true... I love Suduko and enjoyed your app but was frustrated with all the ads I had to watch so I decided to actually purchase this game so I could play ad free. I thought the ads were gone until I started playing the battles and once you reach a certain level, you have to have “tickets” to play. If you do t want to purchase them then you have to WATCH An AD!! This makes me want to no longer use this app, recommend or renew the purchase. Purchasing meant no ads so I shouldn’t have to waste time watching them.

Recent Update Broke the App. ever since i updated the app a few days ago, i feel like the app cycles through the same 5-10 puzzles. specifically, on Extreme difficulty, not sure if other levels are seeing this. this used to be my favorite sudoku app. i’ve played probably close to 100 games and each one felt different. sure, there were similar patterns, but ever since updating i can tell it’s the same handful of identical puzzles cycling through. with the exact same numbers each time. i’m tired of getting the same exact puzzles that i’ve already solved 3 times a day!

Please read if you are considering!. I absolutely love puzzles and this game is challenging and all I had hoped for. Very few adds, which is AMAZING 🤩 because I despise adds- and I seriously recommend this app to anybody who loves challenging puzzles! I love how at first it asked you if you ever played sudoku before. So, I encourage you to get this game if you are considering!!!! Amazing app turned unplayable. This app used to be my absolute favorite. Easy to use, minimal ads, a wide variety of sudoku to choose from. I could easily sink an hour into it minimum! Honestly, this sudoku app was my escape during online grad school. Over the past few updates, however, the app has become virtually unplayable. Pausing a game triggers a three-layered ad. Starting a game triggers an ad. The ads lag my phone and often direct me to the App Store against my wishes. I didn’t know that sudoku of all games could lag, but it actually lags when I am switching boxes or selecting numbers! Sadly I will have to leave this app behind to find one that is both playable and that doesn’t make my phone chug.

Subscribe to get rid of ads???. Look the app is great…. IF and only if you play with wifi and data off. I only play it on planes when I’m on airplane mode because the amount of ads is so irritating that playing one game is all I can convince myself to sit through. This would be sort of forgivable (considering all the sudoku apps seem to be just as bad) if I could just pay once for an upgrade like some of them… I looked and they want you to subscribe to weekly, monthly, or annual payments in order to get rid of ads. Sad - it seems like there aren’t any good apps

1-2 MINUTES PLAY, 5 MINUTES OF ADS, ADS, ADS, ADS. I get that sudoku gets money when you click on ads and hopefully subscribe to something but holy crud! By the time I get through the ads I’m not relaxed anymore and I’m all stressed out because I have to wait for stupid ads to drain my battery on my phone and aggravate me which defeats the reason for doing puzzles. Before I play start the game there’s ads, at the end of the game there’s ads, and if I win then I’ll get 3 times the “rewards” (which you get nothing) if, you guessed it….I WATCH MORE ADS!!!!! It’s just ad after ad after ad in between a few seconds to a minute to do the puzzle. I’m done! I’m buying puzzle books. I’m already done with television, media and ads, about ready to get a flip phone so no ads! Everything‘s about making a dollar but my time is worth more than your dollar. Ads are everywhere and soon we’re going to rent out our kids and paste ads on their freaking foreheads! I’m done … anything that has an ad I’m not owning!

Search Goku. Goku is so fun I love it it made me better at math too. I know that may seem weird but it did. I love it especially because I love challenges I completed all of them. Thank you for giving us stuff that we can enjoy the government has tried loads of times to make lots of fun games, butpeople don’t appreciate it but one of those people who don’t like the people who don’t appreciate it is me so let’s help the government be happier because they created games that kids and grown-ups will laugh. Thank you.

I’ve Gone mAD!. I have played this app for years, but I’m uninstalling it. The amount of ads are absolutely insane. I can play a game in a couple of minutes and then have 3 minutes of ads. You guys have completely lost your minds if you think this is acceptable. There are plenty of other apps out there I am now using. Sure, they have ads, but they’re at the bottom of the game board and don’t interfere with the play at all. But, as with most developers, I’m sure you don’t care at all about what we think. I’ve read many of the same complaints with no response whatsoever, and no change in your behavior. And I don’t want to hear “it’s free, deal with it.” That is unacceptable too. Bye now!

Used to be Great, now a rip off for subscribers!!. This was my favorite game app, then greedy developers changed it so that even paying subscribers like myself have to watch endless videos of terrible game advertisements we aren't interested in. For awhile paying subscribers got less ads (I did for a few months but not anymore). Paying subscriptions were supposed to get get less ads -- if any, now I get more than ever! . Even free versions are getting worse. Can't complain to anyone except here on a review as link to developers is a Chinese AI website. Cancelled!

Best game ever!!!. I hate math. It’s my least favorite subject. But this game makes it so much fun! Because of Sudoku, math is my new FAVORITE subject. It’s very simple. Just find the numbers (from scale of 1-9) and put them in while making sure that in the 2 columns, the number you’re putting in don’t repeat. FOR CREATORS Make sure you try to put out more games, apps, and more ads. It is very helpful, and without ads, I would have never got this wonderful sudoku app.

Maybe not for a purist. This takes everything out of Sodoku that I dislike and makes it more fun. In real Sodoku an early mistake can generate many other mistakes, which with this version is not possible. The highlighting number selected is good as well. They could consider trying to figure out a way for the bottom row of numbers being a little further apart, perhaps odd numbers lower and even numbers higher on the phones.

Way too many ads. There is a constant ad on the bottom of the screen, as well as ads in between new puzzles. If you make 3 mistakes, you have to watch an unskipable ad before you can try again. Some of the ads on the bottom of the puzzle are animated, which is a huge trigger for vertigo and migraines, in my case. I also wish you could choose to hide the timer and change the color of the board, such as a dark mode. I love the daily challenges, though. ALSO bug that makes the app quit after you watch ads. Makes it impossible to play. Please fix.

Grab the iPad the wrong way or accidentally touch a number and you get a strike. I just learned sudoku. If you happen to touch the screen or iPad the wrong way, you find yourself making an “ERROR”, I then tried to use the Pencil. I wanted to “mark” the page to help remember steps, and again, if you touch the screen wrong, it posts a number, and yup, ANOTHER “ERROR”. I get close to where the game falls in to place, and lose, because of this? Gonna look for a more user friendly game. As well, I should NOT have to watch ads just to get a “second chance”. This means that the percentages are NOT accurate, depending on who is willing to watch GARBAGE, just to get a second try. Stupid.

Best Sudoku game I’ve played. I really like the format and function of this game. One of the tips for masterful playing was new to me and improved my game measurably. I would like to alert the developers that a scam ad popped up warning me my memory was full and if I didn’t download their “Clean Up” app in 2 minutes my contacts would be deleted and my SIM card damaged. Oh! I just realized I need to alert Apple to this malware risk.

Sudoku, a fun and challenging game!. If you haven’t downloaded the app yet, go ahead and get started. The object of the game is to fill in the 10 boxes with numbers 1 thru 10, going both up and across the page. You cannot have the same number twice in any row or column. The numbers do not have to be in order. It’s a one person game. It takes a little practice to get the hang of it but it gets easier as you go along.. I give it 5 stars!

Wake-Up my BRAIN. I would’ve given 5 stars & most definitely will “AFTER” I figure out how to utilize symbols/words at the bottom of the game. Although I googled how to play sudoku, as this is my 1st time, I couldn’t google how the symbols, work. For example, when I touch the pencil symbol that denotes NOTES - it simply toggles on/off. Call me a dummy, but how do I even “write” any NOTES to ERASE. 🤣 Yep; you guessed it, I’m a baby boomer & of course that’s no excuse……Although I’ve enjoyed the 2 games that I’ve played so far, once I catch on it’ll be a five-star review. Thanks 😊

Okay sudoku app, but why does it paste?. Interface is pretty good for a mobile sudoku app. Will display ads mid game if you switch back and forth to other apps. I don't see most of the ads people complain about because I have a pi-hole at home and refuse cellular service to this app, just other games from the same company from time to time. Weirdest thing is that if I have something in my clipboard when I load the app, it pastes it. There's no keyboard interface at all. Where are you pasting and why? What do you do with the information you paste? Better be sure not to have your password or any sensitive URL in your clipboard when you go to play sudoku....

Have to uninstall. The amount of adds has gotten out of control. I’ve been thinking about uninstalling and getting a new app because they’ve been getting bad but I have so much data saved on this one I didn’t want to. I have to now because I can’t even play the game without it taking me to the App Store MID GAME. I don’t click on the bottom banner add or anything. I will be trying to type in the squares and it will take me away. I’ve literally never written a review before but this is so ridiculous I just had to. I wish I could give zero stars because it’s honestly a terrible app now.

Glitches. Yes there are an insane amount of ads - at the start and end of every game and sometimes mid game -but even worse is how glitchy the game is, at least on the battle games. If you win a game, then the ad at the end of the game glitches/freezes (which is often), then it’s marked as a loss. If you start a game and the opening ad freezes, it’s also a loss. Often the battle game starts, then an ad will play, giving your opponent a 30 second head start (if the ad doesn’t freeze, marking the game as a loss). Finally, about one in three games will just freeze on and off all the way through. Really do not recommend this one!

Would be great … but …. I get it, if you want less ads, get premium. I can tolerate the ads but at this point, there is a bug or something. The ads are not just between games, an ad literally interrupts the game. Out of nowhere! You are staring trying to figure out your next move, and your concentration is interrupted with an ad. I still tried to tolerate it but the candy crush ad seems the worst. It keeps going and you can’t end it. If you try, it brings you to the App Store. I hate candy crush, I don’t want it. You toggle back and it’s a black screen. Frozen. You wait, the sodoku game never returns. You finally swipe the game closed and try to reopen. You play for 2 minutes … It happens again. Stupid. Fix the bugs!!

Shut down. Daily while playing the games certain videos we are required to watch shut down the games. The screen goes dark and the game returns only after restarting phone. I have deleted and reinstalled and it doesn’t help. Frankly, it is a nuisance. Five stars for the game, but the problem makes me want to give it 1 star. I think I may want to try versions by other makers.

Great app, but very distracting ads. I love everything about this app, the UI, the features and it is addictive. However the ads are very untimely and recently have become non skippable and extremely long. This is a timed game, and everytime I hit pause because I need to look away for 30 seconds I am penalized by being forced to look at an ad and interact with it to break out of it, for another minute. It's breaks the concentration out and lately is causing me to just quit the game in order to avoid those ads. Its making me engage lesser and lesser.

Good game but has some bugs. Love the game but too many ads and there is one ad for Candy Crush Saga that acts almost like a virus. The ad starts and whether you click on the ad to view or not all of a sudden the screen goes black and I end up having to delete the game and reinstall it or it goes no where. Once the screen goes black I can’t back out of the ad. Corrupt file in the ad ?

Love the game.... I love the game, but there is one thing that I would love for the app developers to consider. Since iOS 14 came out, I am able to use my Apple Pencil to draw the numbers in the boxes; however, the app doesn’t recognize the number I am drawing in the box. I have been trying to find a Sudoku app that lets me write in the numbers and have yet to find one. I would be soooo happy if they added this feature. Either way, I give this app 5 stars. I’ve played Sudoku for a long time and I have no complaints about this app. If you love sudoku, I highly recommend you download this app. You will not be disappointed!!!

Ridiculous amount of ads. I had been following the poor reviews due to the number of ads while you are trying to play, and it was interesting to see those reviews had been removed. I had been paying this game for over a year, but slowly the number and length of ads has increased dramatically and I stopped playing. I keep checking back to see if things have improved, but sadly it hasn’t. I understand the revenue needs of the developers but when the length of the ad stream between games is a minimum of 4 times longer then the time playing, it is out of control. I will keep checking back as I enjoy the game

Airplane mode only.. Great app, but only in airplane mode (and has helped me survive many flights). Unfortunately this app is unusable with an internet connection, the ads are often a minute long and there’s often no way to get rid of them without being taken to the App Store to download some additional app. Sometimes there’s a teeny button that is obscured in the corner (impossible to see if you’re on a phone rather than an iPad) and maybe 30% of the time the button is missing. I shouldn’t have to play some dumb game to make the button appear. To be perfectly honest it would be less infuriating if every game of sudoku was followed by a political ad for someone I loathe, because at the very least when the ad ends, you can go back to playing the game.

New Update Brought Intrusive Ads. So I downloaded this app a few weeks ago and it had quickly become a favorite. But today when I opened it to do my daily puzzle I was slapped upside the head with an ad as soon as I hit daily puzzle. There is now a banner ad at the bottom of the puzzle screen. And an ad as soon as I finish a puzzle. At first I thought it was just on the daily puzzle, which would have been annoying but I would deal with it. No. Whenever I open any puzzle there are ads. 30 second unskippable ones. I did not agree to nor sign up for seeing this many ads when I downloaded this app. Previously I only needed to see one when I ask for it for an extra life in a puzzle. So I come over here to see if there's something new that happened and low and behold we have an update. That only lists "bug fixes" as what has changed. If you're going to suddenly add 400% more extremely intrusive ads then at the very least have the decency to state it. Putting in more ads is not a bug fix.

I used to really enjoy it. This app makes sudoku really easy to learn and enjoy. I had a lot of fun with it at first, but now I’m constantly getting ads in the middle of my games. It’s very annoying. Sometimes a game will take me 5-10 minutes depending on the difficulty level, and I’ll get like 3 ads during my time playing it! I wish that the developers had stuck to running ads before/after you start a new game. This makes me want to quit playing altogether, so I can avoid the annoying ad interruptions.

Remove the ads, speed up the game. This is the best and worst Sudoku app I’ve found. The features of the games are great with the daily challenges, theme challenges and battles (except the obvious bots). However, the amount of ads on the app slow down the performance of my iPad, which happens to be a brand new, 9th Generation iPad that I purchased directly from Apple. The app slows down the ENTIRE functionality of my iPad to the point where I have to either restart the device, or sometimes do a factory reset. It’s obnoxious and has almost completely taken away my enjoyment of this app/game. If I still play, it’s obviously due to the fact that I like to cause myself annoyance and frustration.

Deceitful, scam of a game. The app draws you in with clever gameplay and clean puzzles. However, watch out for day 3 of playing because you are about to get crushed by a tsunami of ads; the kind you can’t just skip or ignore because they require interaction at numerous steps along the way to progress back to the game, where suddenly in-game ads are now clogging the bottom of my screen where they had never been before. Upon investigating options to pay to remove ads the first “subscription” offer is 1 week! For $2!!! With a 1 year also available if you search, costing just $16. These game developers are scammers preying on people, don’t download this app and waste your time like I did.

Played a lot but you penny pinch.. Penny pinching, i loved the game until after every single round im stuck watching an ad. I win one and go to the next round… ad. I go multiplayer, win or lose, doesn’t matter… ad. I close out to text someone and come back in to return to the game and guess what.. ad. There’s plenty of phone app games i do not play anymore due to the same issue. Im adding this to the list. Also, it seems you don’t have a problem with our complaints about this and probably added more adds since the “favorite review” expressed the same issues and it was 2 YEARS AGO.

Long time player but new problem!. I love this game, the battles, the dailies, the events. All great. But recently I’ll be playing an every 30 seconds my phone changes over to safari for an ad for iPad Pro from cloud front, a scam website. It completely takes me out of the app. It makes me not want to play and warn people away from the app. Marketing team- I’m fine watching ads at the start and end of a game, but this is intrusive and hurting the brand. Please fix it and ban all ads from cloud front.

Love the challenges/boosts, but ads :/. I love this game and the challenge levels! I also greatly appreciate the opportunity to watch an ad for hints and pencils. I’ve been playing for 2 months and am just getting so tired of ads almost every single time I complete a round. I get that I can watch an ad to play an additional round of Ice Sudoku, or to earn a boost like the free hints and fast pencils. It’s all the numerous other ads that I can close after 5-10 seconds. It is just a bit over the top. Would you still be able to bring in revenue by the ads shown for boosts or to play special events?

Great app, but way too many ads. I got this game because I love sudoku and I wanted to be able to play it on my phone. I think this app is the best most sudoku app out there I like that you can play whatever level you want right away, because most sudoku apps you have to play all the easy one to unlock the hard ones. The only issue I have is all the ads. I understand that it is your only way of income because the app is free, but you get a 30 second ad every time you go into a different page. Like if you miss click one time you have to watch like 2 minutes of ads, I think if the wasn’t as many ads or at least they weren’t as long i would for sure give this 5 stars, but because of the ads it doesn’t deserve that

CONs outweigh the PROs!. I loved this when working East & Medium games because of immediate feedback via tones and because if the board didn’t accept an entry it forced user to look for a reason. But when working the Hard games it accepted wrong moves until later I’d find spaces with no options. There’s a place to check for hints but too often it would play an AD instead! Another problem is there’s no way to “CHECK ENTRIES” as you work through the games. I’m tired of tik tok telling me I have over 2046 viruses on my phone every time I touch the link for hints. Canceling this.

Can barely play sudoku. I loved this app. Everyday would play it and didnt really mind the ads. But now it’s unbearable. In the time I would get three or four quick games in, I now spend trying to close the app store, wait for even longer ads, and now the app itself wants me to earn points and stars, keeps showing me popups for things I dont want nor care about. I just want to play sudoku. I have collected 64 pencils and 28 hints, without watching the ads for extras. I dont use those features. The time involved just “collecting” useless features is so stupid. So now for every three to four games I used to play, I can barely get one game in. Have deleted this app and will now go purchase a sudoku app and give my money to your competitors.

Great games here is some suggestions to make it better!. I love everything about this and I’d buy this game if it was a one time purchase, I’d even pay 20-30 for it. I’m not subscribing to a sudoku game though. I think ads during a battle is not a great idea…(during and after is fine) I’m assuming that’s not supposed to happen and I’d appreciate if you fixed this issue. I’d also appreciate adds In between games instead of during. Please fix this. When filling in the little numbers with the pencil individually, it won’t let you add a number that cannot go in the box. This prevents you from making a mistake while trying to solve the puzzle. You should be able to pencil in what numbers you think go in an empty box even if they are wrong. You should be able to battle people you know (like how you can send a puzzle you’ve done to someone else which is awesome addition, but real time)

Add this please. I’ve been playing this game for a while and Can’t help but notice that there isn’t a global scoreboard, or even just a country one. All I have to see that I’m good at this game is where my statistics are set but that tells ma very little. Also I’ve been noticing a bit more ads and I would hate for this to become one of those games, it’s infuriating for me to have to see an ads before and after every game and the ads almost take longer than the actual game so please stay a respectable game and consider my proposal. Thank you.

Great App with minor flaws. This is the best Sudoku app out there. Love all the tools. I only have two gripes that keep me from five stars: 1. Premium is way too expensive! 2. If I make edits to the “fast pencil” view, they don’t save if I turn it off and turn it back on. I wasted about 30 minutes on an Extreme level removing candidates in the fast pencil view. I accidentally turned it off. When I turned it back on, all my work was gone. Poof. %€#%!

Fantastic except…. There’s a candy crush ad that pops up randomly. Don’t get me wrong, I expect ads on most apps at this point, so I don’t mind them, but this one breaks the whole app. The CC ad will pop up, mid-game, and no close button will appear. You are stuck on the ad indefinitely. If you try to play through the ad, it will open a new safari window to download candy crush. You can close that, but when you go back to the sudoku app, it’s just a black screen. You have to close everything and re-open the app to keep playing (of course, you have to watch another ad to start the game you were forced to pause). I’m still giving 4 stars because this wasn’t a problem when I first started playing, so clearly it’s a bug that needs fixing. There wasn’t any other way to contact the creators, so I am hoping this review is seen by the dev team.

I Love this app!. First of all amazing app, with hints and different themes and cool events! I love this game, you can play it without internet and once you have a few spots left, it’s easy and satisfying! I definitely recommend this game. (But there are ads which are annoying, but you can skip them.) if you run out of hints, you can just watch a 15 to 30 second ad to get more. So I would rate it a 4 and a half star.

Sudoku Review. I love this game! I love challenging and academic games, and this one is great! I usually do Sudoku during road trips, and I’ve been able to connect offline a couple of times, which is great. I love sudoku, and this really tops the list! And I love that there are so many things within the puzzle (like pencil option, etc). It’s so easy to work with. I love all the variety and battles and stuff. Keep it up!

Too many ads and hints don’t work well 😢. Wayyy too many ads and some of them I have to close out of three or more times, while others will take me directly to the App Store when I try to close out of it (which should NOT be allowed at all). Sometimes the hints won’t work at all. I like being able to use hints to help me learn, but if I’ve filled in my own numbers using the pencil and I’m able to eliminate some of the numbers, it’ll automatically add in those numbers I’ve been able to eliminate! This makes me have to do the work all over again! It’s soooo frustrating. I tried to contact support, but it just kept loading…

Why change the game. Great game, I play every day and have really enjoyed it. There has been a change in the way that you select the number that going into each box. I REALLY don’t like the change and what a way of changing it back Otherwise I have enjoyed game but sadly will be looking for a different game 😔

Hello. Hey, I just wanted to comment on the timer in the right hand Conner. This gave me much pressure and it changed making me unsure if I was doing it right. It started at 30 seconds and the bullet up to 4 minutes. Also the auto fill button popped up and blocked me from using the hint button. The erase didn’t work either. I really enjoy this game and love how their is not many adds. Thank you

Awesome Sudoku App. This is by far the best Sudoku app I’ve used so far. Lightning mode works really well for the way I like to play. The only recommendation for improvement would be a way to set lightning mode to always on in settings so I don’t keep fudging mistakes. I love this app!

Random issue. I started out really loving this app. Then an issue crept into my play time. I thought it was a one-time glitch, but it’s happened numerous times now. I play Sudoku to help me relax while listening to music, but the app will turn off my music at random times. Bad enough that even when I have ads muted my music turns off, but at least that’s understandable. Now it happens mid-game for no reason. Pretty annoying when I’m just trying to relax. I’m going back to my old Sodoku app, plus I purchased a physical Sodoku book — no glitches with that. 😜Anyway, if you don’t listen to music while playing, you’ll probably love this app. It’s not for me, though. (I tried to contact the developer before leaving a review, but apparently I can’t reach out if I have the free version?

good but boring. a really good sudoku app compared to many otherss their biggest BUT is sometimes if not the majority of the time — their live battles are actually just recordings of other players who played it before 🤷🏼‍♀️ so it’s not truly live rarely you get matched with a real live person. when you play long enough you’ll notice the little glitches that give this away also the puzzles for ‘live’ battles are super repetitive their regular challenges are so boring too, not sure why i’d have to waste time playing 100 levels of easy to move up the chart, genuinely a waste of time

Terrible application. Terrible application. The application started out ok with a tolerable level of advertising; however, this soon changed as the usage progressed. It is evident that the focus of this application is to generate advertising revenue rather than a positive game experience. I no longer have the patience for this nonsense and deleted the application. Back to old school pen and paper!!!

Mmhhh. I mean it is sudoku and the graphics are great but I hate how you can only make 3 mistakes then have to restart. It’s kinda frustrating.

Stop the world. I like Soduko because when I am playing I am not thinking about any thing else. My mind is focused on the numbers and it gives me a break from all the minutia for awhile. Everything else stops.

Atrocious Amount of Ads. Update: Changed my review to 1⭐️ and will be uninstalling. The amount of advertisements is so bad I literally cannot play a the game without watching ads. I’m done. On top of that, even if you wanted to pay to get rid of them, they want you to pay 22$ on a yearly subscription model, just to make the app function. Well designed app, satisfying sfx and good gameplay. I wish there was a way to customise my experience to not be limited to 3 mistakes per puzzle. Only reason this is 3⭐️ is because the mount of adverts is TERRIBLE. I play more dumb ads for scam puzzle games than I do actual sudoku. It makes you watch an advert every time you start a level, resume a level, get a second chance at a puzzle you’ve failed, sometimes randomly pressing other functions in the app - absolutely horrific. I would genuinely rather have paid for the app than watch this many adverts to keep it free

It’s OK. When I first downloaded this game it was fun. For a free game it was expected that there would be ads, but it seems that the more I play the more frequent the ads. It’s an AD app. You’re basically down loading the app to watch ADs. First few games hav no ads then they ask you to rate the game just so you can give the game a high rating. Soon after your slapped with 25-30 sec ADs that you can’t skip until the AD takes you to the second AD screen; and you still have wait to skip the AD. Starting a new game not before an AD. Did you pause the game and want to continue, AD. Did you finish the game, AD. Like I said this is an AD app that allows you to play a game between the AD.

Adding time?. I just started playing this app because my last sudoku app was gonna make me wait a couple days before I had more to get to play, and I’ve noticed if I watch the real time while playing then it on average takes me 2 minutes to play a medium level sudoku game, but the app adds 2 extra minutes to my total? It goes by 2 seconds at a time for every real life 1 second? This is something that frustrates me as an advisor player.

Fun games and challenges but annoying ads. I enjoy the difficult daily challenges and the regular competitions to earn badges. I could handle the ads at the beginning, but within the last month the ads have become longer and a few open spammy website pages without clicking on them. It’s frequent enough that I’m considering finding a new sudoku app.

Did you lower expert difficulty?. This was my favorite sudoku app until recently. When playing expert, the percentage of people completing the puzzle would usually range from mid 40% to mid 50%, now they range from upper 50% to upper 60%. Has the difficulty of the puzzles been lowered? I have been completing expert puzzles in about 5-6 minutes on average when it used to take me 10-15. I don’t know if it’s a placebo affect or if it has really gotten easier.

Suduko. Great job guys and girls. The option of by passing the 3 mistakes rule is great. I needed that option. I am not very good with numbers and I need more than 3 mistakes in order for me to keep playing. Plus I keep playing to improve my ability with numbers. I always liked this game. Battle needs a change. All in all it’s a good app. I like the auto pencil on expert to save me 10 minutes of doing it myself. However, the new “battle” is very poorly executed. 1.) you are not both playing the same puzzle. 2.) you are not even both playing the same difficulty of puzzle. I just played one where I counted my empty squares at 51, and the opponent finished by filling out 31. At least make us both play a hard level, or both play an easy level.

To many ads. Like the game, but WAY to many ads. You have to watch an 30 second ad every time you leave the app and come came to the game , even if it’s for a few seconds or minutes. Just now I answered a text by pulling down the message and sending a quick reply text with the game clearly running in the background and I had to watch an entire 30 second ad AGAIN! RIDICULOUS!!! If they don’t fix this I will be deleting the game. Not worth it.

Too many sudoku are not solvable with this app. I like this sudoku app, i have the paid version but i am going to switch. Why? There are too many sudoku, especially the extreme that are not solvable for this app. Eh … we have limited techniques.. just place a 6 here… and just keep going. This is frustrating because most of these sudoku are actually solvable or have more than one solution, implementing Nishio techniques, and the other frustrating stuff is that, in case there are more than one solution they mark as error valid solutions. So they consider valid just their solution. All the rest is great, but if you are a pro player this is not the app for you. Too bad… implement nishio techniques .. and all this will go away… and it’s actually easy for a computer to calculate them..

Excellent— except…. This app is great but please stop messing with the color choices. The latest update ruined my favorite dark color scheme and now the lines are too hard to see. The other dark color scheme is muddy and hard to use. Please give us more choices or allow us to hold onto the ones we like.

I learned to play Sudoku in Japan in 1969 at the Gonzalo. After playing Sudoku, I began showing people on board an airplane who were going on an Asian tour who loved the game and said they too would teach others! I’m now 89 and although I can no longer play as well, I still love the excitement of playing! Try it you’ll li— love it!

New version is a major step back in usability. Much harder to read playing board Big downgrade in usability as lots of smaller screen elements are distracting as are the color selections. Was much cleaner before. Daily player. Not sure for how much longer as the new version is frustrating and I find myself making errors I would have never made before.

Too many adds now. This used to be a good app because it didn’t have a ridiculously annoying amount of adds. Now they have an add every time you try to do anything it’s stressful. Sudoku is supposed to be relaxing and you have to engage with it fir that to happen. I might as well grab a sudoku book at this point.

Notes function broken and annoying. If you have on the setting that allows you to put in notes manually (without auto-removing wrong notes), then when you put in a new number it doesn’t allow you to remove the now-wrong notes. If I put in a 4 and another cell in that row had 1234 in the notes, it doesn’t let me remove the 4 from the notes in that cell. Also, it doesn’t let you make mistakes ever, which I find annoying.

Not very challenging. Puzzles are a bit easier than their difficulty settings imply. Game isn’t bad, but prepare to pay for a subscription as they use AGGRESSIVE ads otherwise. If you want a free soduko game this is not it. Ads will enable sound and many will stop podcast apps from playing to impose their ads. This isn’t even so bad, but it’s entirely possible that when you exit the app to push play on your podcast you’ll return to the same issue, as opening/closing the app (even without pausing) will start an ad.

Fun but annoying. It’s a fun game to play with nice features, but, there is way too many ads. I get they have to make money but it’s crazy. Even if you switch to a different app, say your messages, to reply to a text and then go back to the game not even a minute later, another ad. It just gets annoying having to watch all these ads for a 2 minute game of sudoku. So I mostly use this app when I’m waiting in line somewhere. 🤷🏼‍♀️

PERFECT!!. This app is amazing and has everything that you might see in your sudoku ad. I rate a 10 out of 10 would recommend. If you just want a sudoku game for practicing and battling i would definitely recommend. You can battle out other sudoku contestants and get rewards in winnings!!! I live this sudoku game and i think has awesome content and great gameplay.😊😊

This is a great game. I watched my father one day play sudoku so I asked him what it was. He explained how to play and a couple years later I saw him playing it again so I played a little and then I downloaded it. It’s very fun and a good brain puzzler. Thank you developer (s) for making this game I couldn’t ask for a better game.

Predatory ads. Ads will open up your phone's browser in the middle of a game. I've written to them directly and they haven't fixed the issue. And it looks like a lot of other people are having the same issue. Also if you have any text in your clipboard, when you open the app it will ask you on the menu screen if you want to paste it there. Paste it into what? And its too bad because this app has the best features and smoothest play

Aggressive Political Ads. The platform itself is great, and I really enjoy it. However, the recent inundation of political ads has really irritated me. I was fine with having regular ads for games and what not. But collecting data about my political opinion by forcing me to answer Trump and NRA polls is beyond ridiculous. I would be just as annoyed if I was being forced to answer polls about Biden or politicians in any political party. I can’t see the results of a game I just finished without the political ads, and if I restart the app the same ad comes up again. It’s disappointing to see a sudoku app step into the 2020 U.S presidential election. I’m aware I could just pay to remove ads, but it’s highly unpleasant to have my only two choices be: 1) pay money 2) be pressured into revealing personal information and giving away my data Thanks for the fun games, I enjoyed it, but I’ll play on a platform with regular ads now!

Useful features. I've tried other sudoku games and they are very similar. Same layout and daily games. This one stands out with it's "lightning" mode and auto finish feature. It also has an option to do fast pencil in all the numbers to save you time. This is my preferred sudoku app so far

Ads…. There are a lot of adverts. All of which have volume/music. You may be able to control the main ads sound after it starts, but to exit the ad you’re subjected to more sound that you cannot control. Also, many ads change the orientation from landscape to portrait mode. They won’t change it back to the original mode. Finally, if you have to minimize the game to, say, work, you’ll have to get through ads to get to your game.

Love. I love this game. I don’t mind the ads (though the glitch of having ads mid battle is annoying). 2 things I wish: 1. More detail statistics like overall ranking. Rankings by country. Etc. 2. Might be taboo, but I would love a battle version where you could make money. Each battle is like $5 and winner takes all type of thing.

Invasive ad-ware. After every single game, you have to sit through a 60 second ad just to get another puzzle. And the only way to get rid of ads is with a weekly, monthly, or yearly subscription. I would be happy to pay a reasonable one-time fee for an ad-free experience. I also wouldn’t mind sitting through shorter, less intrusive ads, but since there are no other options, I’m deleting this app in favor of another.

Great Playing. Thankfully, no endless ads. Played another Sudoku game for years, and site got worse and worse over time, with endless ads. This particular Sudoku has NO ADS, at least for now. Enjoying the game once again. Please, stay that way.

Fun game, but buggy. This game was fun, but it’s become more difficult to play. The ads they show don’t always make it possible to continue playing when they finish (no close button provided at the end), and even faking going to download the games in the ads doesn’t allow you to return to playing this app. You have to close it and watch yet another ad in hopes that it’s not also buggy. Fix your [redacted], people.

Battles need more levels. I love the challenges of battle mode, I just wish there were more levels. I reached the top fairly quickly and I am no where near the best player out here. Please add more levels to keep us challenged and happy. I love the app and enjoy the challenges.

Not Ad Free. This game advertised itself as a pop up in front of another Sudoku app that I was playing. It said that it was ad free. It is not. Ads are displayed even when you haven’t asked for anything other than playing a game. This is dishonest false advertising. The game also requests that you lower your privacy settings. It’s the only game that I’ve ever seen make that request. The user interface is also somewhat awkward. This is not the most fun that I’ve had playing a Sudoku app. I recommend that you choose another app.

No way to turn off error recognition. Great Sudoku game, however as far as I can find, there is not option to stop a number from turning red if it is in the wrong spot. I like to make guesses when I’m stuck and see where it leads me, but it makes this impossible when I know right away whether of not my guess was right.

I did it.. Before now I have never been able to complete a sudoku. I feel like I can now advance to a higher level. It has been great to start at the easy level and be successful. I have finally mastered several games. Thanks for the beginners level. 😊. !!!!!!!!!!

All of a sudden a long ad plays after each game. I added this app to enjoy the game and for the first 4 days, it was quite enjoyable. All of a sudden today, the game was changed slightly and insufferably long ads for other apps started playing after each game. These ads cannot be stopped if they are of no interest and must be allowed to play. Even when the time of the ad (usually 30-60 seconds) is finished, the ad doesn’t go away unless you search for the well hidden exit button!

So many ads. Waaaay too many ads. And long ads at that. Like forty seconds to a minute. It’s jarring. And sometimes the ads will Keep going after you get the chance to close the ad. Instead of closing they’ll just keep taking you to the app in the ad. Beyond irritating. Decent game except for that. There’s a dark Mode which I appreciate.

TOO MANY ADS!. The game itself is fairly straightforward. It works good. There were way too many ads to wait for, before you could play a game. If I get a free minute to play a game, I don’t like spending half that time waiting for useless ads to play, before I can start to play.

SoDarnCuul phonetically speaking. The puzzles when Easy are excellent against monotony and boredom. When more difficult (Medium) get the pencil and do the work. It gets easier as the answers fall in place. I gave only four stars in case the creators can discover a method of improvement. I could not think of one. Now I am away to work harder ones. Bring back the rewards. I used to love this game, until you took away the rewards (pencil, hint, or the stupid raffle tickets) after a specific amount of games each day (1,2,6, etc.). Now I just play the daily game and close the app. Plus everyone else is right there is a huge amount of ads. I get that you need to make money but even if you capped the ads at 10-15 seconds it would be a lot better.

Challenging but helpful. I really like the different options that this particular game offer...and they are all options, so if you are doing a harder game , sometimes one needs a little more support. And if it is easier and one does not need the help and wants the hard challenge it is flexible enough to have that too.

Sudoko. I am 77 years old and I love trying to work out the sudoko puzzles I have found this game makes my mind working. And I will keep on playing this game that you put out as long as I can. Ads. Be prepared to watch a lot of ads. When you win a game there will be an ad anywhere from 30 secs to 2 mins. Then you choose new game, then choose difficulty level then half the time there’s another ad that’s 30 secs to 2 mins long. I understand they have to have ads to make money but 2 separate ads before you can play is a little ridiculous in my opinion. Otherwise I love the game.

Commercials, too many and too long.. I’m seriously looking for a different app. Commercial after commercial spoils the fun and wastes my battery. What’s worse is most of the time it’s the same commercial over and over. Sometime it’s a commercial for the game I’m playing at the time. There are glitches too … where the commercial locks up and you can’t get out of it. Anyone have a game that is not so continuously frustrating?

Great app but hate the ads. After trying countless Sudoku apps, I finally found one that I love. The interface is fantastic and it’s genuinely enjoyable to play. However, an option to purchase the app to remove the annoying ads would be great. These interruptions totally disrupt the thought process. I'd gladly pay $0.99 to get rid of them.

I love this app, the only think I don’t like about it is that it advertises this terrible and offensive game called “king’s choice.” Not only is the add terrible and weird, the game gets stuck on the advertisement eveytime I play, and there is no way to exist. I have to delete the app and start over, which wipes my progress and stats. Please be pickier about what adds you use and fox glitches. Thank you!

Bug in battle mode. Game is great but latest version introduced a bug in battle mode. Banner ad at bottom of the screen is a few pixels too high and overlaps the numbers area. Hides the remaining number counter and makes it harder to click the number. Can you please fix and post an update asap? Love the game otherwise. Thank you.

Not for people with shaky hands. I wish the app wouldn’t mark an entry wrong immediately. I wish it would wait a second or 2. I don’t have full use of my hands and sometimes I will accidentally hit the wrong square when I enter a number. I immediately know I accidentally hit the wrong square and want to immediately correct it.

The best learning experience. This is the best classic puzzle game ever barely any ads to stop you from learning and helps your mind be sharp and this is not a scam! I love Sudoku and it is probably one of the best learning experiences and games ever you should download it it has barely any ads it keeps your mind sharp and it is not a scam that’s why I loves Sudoku

It’s fine. Works great on airplane mode. No forced downloaded adds and is very fun when used like this. However when data is needed (PvP mode) the load times and adds becomes very unbearable and while $15 isn’t a bad price to get rid of them it is only for one year. My advice is to just play daily challenge and farm fast pencils on airplane mode and keep this as a nice once in awhile game.

Fun, but can have more than one solution. This is the best Sudoku app I’ve found, but it still has its flaws. It will tell you that you are incorrect when you have found a solution that is completely valid. I often use the pencil mode to test and eliminate incorrect solutions. When I have found a solution with no number conflicts, I will then fill in. But, I have found puzzles when a correct unique solution is labeled incorrect by the app.
