It’s hard. The app is really hard to make things sound good but I did something really amazing.

Best songs ever. I rate this a 5 star because the songs that I edit sound so different than the original songs. The only thing I would add is your own lyrics and more famous beats

The only actual change. The only actual change is that you can’t watch an ad to access certain song styles, and you instead need to pay money.

Better than medly. I used to use medley, which was similar in design, but lacked several things. But with this, everything works perfectly! Great for skilled electronic musicians, or just to mess around with. The only flaw (that I can think of) is how to save the project, not just the beats, other than that, can't complain.

I can’t get the paywall off?. So I downloaded the app and it first took me to a paywall. My thought was that “I don’t want to buy anything from a free app, so let me just get a more restricted version and just use what I have to make a beat.” So I kept swiping the screen and saw the “X” button. When I pressed it, I was still stuck at the paywall. The “X” button didn’t work. I read a few reviews and still didn’t find any information how to get out the paywall and actually use the app. What’s the point of adding an “X” button to close the paywall when you can’t even close it? I tried refreshing the app as well. Didn’t work. I’m sure this is a nice app, but I can’t say that when I can’t even use the app because of an invincible paywall.

Great App. Ok, so if you want to be a SoundCloud rapper, then you should use this app. So it can record your voice, you can make your own beats, and it has perfect quality and sound effects to the app.

Good.. This in my opinion is a great app. One person said it was a scam. I don't think it is, because you can just go the limited version which works great.

There’s no settings. I can’t edit the sound or it’s level or even undo something that I just did, or at least it’s not obvious how it, all very inaccessible

Can’t make your own. I don’t know if you can make your own beat but it’s so hard to figure out how to make your own beat I don’t even know if you can I tried looking everywhere and it’s hard to work with

The App is top tier, 5 Stars. The company behind it, not so sure ☹️. I was really enjoying this App to the fullest. So much so, I decided to go premium. I clicked the banner and saw that it was $7.99 a week. I was thinking “that’s pretty steep, but probably worth it. I wonder if they have monthly or yearly rates that are a better deal.” I go to “X” out of the screen to see if they had a website. Low and behold, I got “App Locked”, the “X” was purely decoration leaving no way to exit the premium screen. Why do Developers do this? It’s dishonest, and very suspect. Why would I agree to give my payment details or lock in to a weekly, monthly, or yearly commitment with a company who practices such tactics? What a bummer. You had an excited customer ready to rock and lock in with you. You should really reconsider your policy on taking the literal meaning of “Trap” music.

Dear beatmaker. How do I get to the section where I make my OWN beat instead of just building off of others

I need help. I’ve refreshed the app several times and can’t get out the paywall and neither do I see a “x” button at all I need help to just start this app

Why. This app does not help because when I made a song it got deleted and the app play button would not stop and I couldn’t redo it so either fix it or delete the whole company

Stuck on try free and sub page. When I first got this app, I was having issues with it. When I tried to press the X button, it wouldn’t respond to it. Could someone fix issue for me?

This is a little annoying. I wanted to use this on mobile. I looked through the little intro thing then met a screen telling me that there was a premium version, which is great and all, but no. It said there was a restricted free version but there was no button on screen that allowed you to go straight to the restricted version. I tried several times but could not find a button. The only way I could see to get the restricted version was to get a subscription then cancel it. And come on. We all know how that’ll go. It’ll be confusing and hard to cancel and then I end up paying 20 bucks cause It’s set up to have me be tricked into buying it. Give me a button!

Great time. Had fun making some beats and there’s a lot of content here and unfortunately it’s behind a paywall, but it doesn’t require a subscription at all and the free sound packs you get are pretty good and extensive for free content. Definitely worth a look. Some bugs removed certain instruments’ sound clips which is unfortunate if you’re far into a project, but overall a fantastic beat machine.

I couldn’t make it past the premium. I like music games where you have premium as an option, but this game forces you to use premium in order to play the game. Not worth it if you want to save money.

Fun! but quick money grab. The game has 97% of it’s songs for premium. and all the other content wich makes up 3% of them so with that said, it’s not that bad of a game but it also literally is club penguin island but for music.

Not worth the price even if it works.. The beats are ok, could definitely have fun making some jams with em, BUT, the app sneaks a subscription in right at the start of using it for 7.99 a WEEK, and even then, a lot of the features, like switching from A to B on the pads, don’t work properly and will either freeze up or crash. Currently there’s better pads and sound packs out there to even wait on this one.

I like it. I like it but after the update, the drum kick on one of the presets, “Future Wave”, just stopped working, and now I don’t have the beat anymore

Amazing just one thing. I think this is an amazing app (from the cover) but... really, I can’t actually play this! It has a subscription thing. I have the “GUARDIAN MUST ACCEPT “ thing. So I can’t even play it. Now what I’m asking is please remove the subscription.

Good program, addict packs. Sloppy quality control.. 5 stars except for 1 problem. If you touch the "unlock all packs free trial" the app brings up a page that starts playing some cheesy gamer music. After closing the free trial window, music continues. You have to kill app to fix! Other than good app and phun to play!

Sound. Before I could hear the notes when I hit the play button but now I cannot do that

Horrible.. So, when you enter you get like info about it, nothing wrong there. But after you get through that a subscription appears. No “X” no way out. And checking the earlier reviews, you (dev) says that there is a way out. I tried everything. You just can’t get out of the subscription page. I can tell it’s a good app. But you need to make it so you can at least exit the subscription page.

Maybe the best thing that happened to me. I’ve never written a review on any app before but this definitely deserves one. It started when I was bored and was looking up random stuff on the App Store and I stumbled across this little app, but this app it’s really little it’s massive. With the diversity you can make any song that you feel like. There are hours, days, weeks maybe every months worth of fun. I haven’t paid a dime yet. I don’t know about the special thing you can buy for extra stuff and honestly I would think it would be worth it. Try this app you might like it😜😉

So I literally just downloaded it and i went through the directions and then it told me to get 7 day free trial but after 7 days i had to pay for using! it I couldn’t even scroll or find an x or anything. there was no link or anything for the free version either! So if your reading this don’t download its terrible!

Disappointed. I am very disturbed by how I can’t even play!! As the intro it has the introduction but then when it got to the subscription detailed part it had an X in the upper left hand corner but when I pressed it, it kept me there. I am very upset because I can still not play the game so I decided to write a review telling what I thought.

Ive had this game deleted and its still charging me. I keep getting $8.54 charges from itunes and i never knew what it was from but i looked at my itunes purchase history and it says beatsnap weekly membership i dont even know how to cancel the "membership"

The record button needs a fix. two stars the reason: you cant stop recording when you press the record button, the only stupid way is to press the send button and cancel the send. Please fix this ASAP thx.

Pretty amazing app but I would read the below before purchase. Its Pretty awesome it’s a little limited in sounds an a little bit of a time signature problem and also can be a tad bit confusing it doesn’t always work properly but for a phone interface it’s amazing to be honest it is worth the weekly our yearly if you area real musician if not I would refer you to a cheaper sequencer or free one first because you’re really only getting different sounds with this the engine and it is good but it’s mostly the sounds is What’s your paying for from what I’ve seen so I have all my partner in about four hours worth of my time into this app but so far it’s pretty cool I bought it knowing the problems that it has if that tells you something that means it’s worth it

Great app but... weekly???. I love playing this fun beat making app but I have used all the songs and now I have to pay 7.99 a week????? That is too much. Also, can we get something where I can put my own sound in each box???🤩

Why do we have to pay ??. Ok so when I first started I was having fun with this app and then I saw that you only have 3 tracks and my question is just why we have to get premium just to get other tracks ?

Stop making apps free if your going to make me pay to use it. I did notice IN SMALL LETTERS it said “or continue with limited version” but when I tried to do so nothing happened. I’m uninstalling it, I’m so sick of people putting out apps that are free to download but you have to pay to use it that’s a load of bull and a waste of time.

Scam. It says it’s free, and from what it looks like it looks like little to no in-game purchases, or any that anyone would need, but right when you get it, it tells you how to play, and instantly tells you about a 7-day free trial, with a subscription after that, and anyone knows that you con’t get out of a subscription from one of these games ever. Telling your customers that something is free and then a few seconds after making them pay for it is not good for marketing, you’ll lose customers.

Not amazing but it's okay. I tried to make a beat but when I listened to it it totally changed it also it needs to be a little easier to understand and the app didn't let me delete what was already apart of my beat that I didn't make!!!!!!. So don't download!!!!!!

Rip off. Let’s you download their app on your phone, leads you through a little demo, then wants you to sign up for a trial. You do not actually get to make a beat and it’s a pay service you have to connect your bank account to before the trial begins. Garbage.

Great game one problem. I can’t hear anything I don’t know if it’s my iPad or the game,is this a common bug or complaint? Please tell me this is just a silly glitch and not the app.

Fake and useless. You have to pay to use it and I saw the very small “or continue with limited version.” I tried that and you can’t even use that so yes it is very limited. You couldn’t even start a new project on it. Downloaded and deleted in less than 3 minutes.

So. Apparently there is a way to get off the subscription thing and there is a way to use this app for free but I can’t find it so it’s obviously way too non-clear how to do it, and you need to make it more clear on how to do so like adding an X in the corner

Can’t unsubscribe. Saw it was subscription based and tried to hit home and it took my finger print instead and allowed a weekly subscription Which they don’t mention is almost impossible to get rid of, there’s info on how to in the FAQ but the instructions don’t match up with anything you can do. I had to delete payment info off my phone and even then idk but I will go on a witch hunt if one cent is taken out of my account I tell you that

It won’t let me play without needing to spend money for the game.. Well, it’s probably good, know why I said Probably? ITS BECAUSE I NEED TO SPEND MONEY FOR THE GAME!! Plus, it’s rude that the X button doesn’t help, it just brings you to the previous screen, I wish I could play. Please remove this so I can play it.

Could not get a sound. I wanted SO BADLY to use this and all its feature (premium for life) but the work flow is the strangest I’d ever seen. I use all amplify products as well as a gang of other ios “best apps”. I’m a hardware guy though using two Moogs, a Kiev and my controllers are all Novation. I COULD NOT GET THE NOTES TO PLAY A SOUND. Maybe I’m technically inept? Doubt it I’ve been a software engineer since ‘92. Guys. This workflow is THE worst I’ve seen. I’ll give all my lovely cash to amplify because well..I can at least hear what I’m making without having to read a manual. Geez

I know this app is good. I know that this app is good from looking at the reviews but what I don’t like is when I download it and when in the introduction it offers me premium subscription but when I click the little x on the top left corner of my screen, it doesn't take it off. Is there a way you guys can fix this “bug”?

Scam!. This app tricks you into a purchase if you have an iPhone! To unsubscribe go to settings: click on your name: iTunes and App Store: click on your Apple ID at the top and then click subscriptions. That’s the real way to unsubscribe. It will lie to you in the frequently asked questions section.

Really odd bug. I haven’t been able to use the app AT ALL because when at the last slide of the slideshow that shows up when you first open the app you aren’t able to click out. There is no “no thanks” or x button. Maybe I’m being dumb but I’m giving 3 stars because I’m sure this is a great app, but I’m unable to access it.

World record worst app.. This app doesn’t even include audio. It is NOT the ultimate drum pad controller in fact it is quite the opposite so do NOT buy it. I’m sorry, it’s just that sound is kinda the reason that music exists, also the mixvibes thing doesn’t make any sense.

No audio and interface bugs.. The audio when selecting a sound on the left hot bar is muted, and same when you put a sound on the grid, the interface has many overlaps and random words bugged in curtain places and I think you should add a feature to slide each track sectors ( top of the screen) to different places instead of time consuming copy and pasting, and sometimes you can’t get them in correct order and you have to copy and paste again. Otherwise great software so far and would love to see upcoming music packs ( that are free) so people who don’t spend money on premium packs are able to enjoy as well. One more idea is to have Monstercat licenced songs added to it to be able to use the professional sounds in tracks, these would be more fitting as premium songs, and you wouldn’t be able to edit the preset template of the track but the premiums will grant access to those sounds used in the professional industry. Great work so far and can’t wait to see future development of app!

Absolute Garbage. First of all, I am FURIOUS of what happened. As I was just making a song I had nearly finished, I pressed record and let it record. For some stupid reason, it kept recording even when I wanted it to stop. I tried my best to stop it but I wouldn’t stop! There was a *clear* button next to it which I pressed thinking it would clear the recording or stop it. But no, IT DELETED MY ENTIRE SONG. I can’t even undo it, it’s gone forever. So if you want to risk your recordings, go for it! Because not only does this app have good sounds, but a really garbage system. Might wanna fix it guys 😡

Despite paying them, commercial use not allowed. Even if you pay for a subscription, you aren’t allowed to sell the music you make using Beat Snap 2. This is per their terms of service. So, unfortunately, I have no reason to pay for this app.

Really fun. These beats are amazing, has a nice flow, and it’s just amazing in general.

Not a single sound.... I got this to make music, but I can’t hear a single thing. I place notes, no sound. Play, no sound. You say “oh yeah yeah you can still use the free version...” but you can’t make music if you can’t hear. Unless you are Beethoven.
