App is not maintained. This app was great but it’s no longer being maintained. The monthly maintenance list is broken and has been for some time. I have emailed several times asking for it to be fixed

RV enthusiast. Love this app. Can’t wait to see what other features they add.

Couldn’t get thu initial setup. To use the app, you need to enter specific data on your RV. It asks for (among other things) make and model of your unit. When it comes to entering model ‘Phaeton’ (I own a Tiffin Phaeton) it won’t accept it. The app then won’t let me go any further. A waste of time.

Less than satisfied. This app reminds me of the first GPS available. It seemed very outdated and sent me on a route that took 2.5 hours longer than necessary. If it was updated it would've know that you can cross CBBT with your RV. For a app that you pay $40 a year for I expected more.

I want to love it…. So, this app screams potential. I used this app to travel to a local campground about 45 minutes away. The app recognized a turn that would be challenging for an rv and added steps to turn me around and approach from a more desirable angle. Unfortunately, the roads it wanted me to use didn’t exist anymore. The maps are so far out of date. By the time I gave up it had taken me down two permanent dead ends. It doesn’t support CarPlay. This is 2023. Folks pulling trailers have big screens and not a lot of convenient mount space for their phone to be visible. It doesn’t allow for multiple stops. This isn’t huge when the trip is planned. But planning, I go back to my normal gps. Now for the good. The membership spans several apps. I find that to be very convenient and a compelling selling point. But this GPS app is just not that good.

Subscription. I can find no place in the app description that explains the subscription price. I downloaded the app, and a week later got a notice that the one week trial was over and I got charged $30. I don’t know if that charge is for a month, a year, or what. This should be made obvious when someone loads the app.

Not worth the money. Even if this app was free, don’t be misled! Repeatedly, I requested a route from Jackson Hole, Grand Tetons to the south entrance to Yellowstone. Repeatedly this worthless RV GPS stated no route exists. THESE TWO DESTINATIONS ARE AMONG THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER RV DESTINATIONS IN THE USA! We took Hwy 191 via Moran to the south entrance of Yellowstone. Not only did our 35 ft 5th Wheel easily do this, but every size motor home imaginable did the same. When I explained this to GOTO RV, to make corrections, they didn’t do squat! I no longer even consult them for routes. Try WAZE; it’s amazing and free. Google maps is also available.

Good start. There seems to be a good comprehensive list for packing (having the option to add and remove items that are actually used would make a packing list more useful). Please update and add a pop-up to your list of options. Will update review as I use it more.

Don’t waste your time!. Poor interface. Started with trouble even getting login info entered. Had to add twice. Then could not get RV info entered. Only allowed 4 of about 10 info items to show. If you left page had to start all over. Super bad first impress. Deleted

Getting Better But Still Just Ok. I previously left a pretty scathing rating and review as I was quite frustrated that a modern iOS app did not provide iPad support. And now they have added it! So I have to acknowledge this effort with a higher rating as this app continues to improve and the folks at Togo RV seem to be listening to feedback. I do like the breadth of integrated features especially the overnight RV parking, but I actually use their other apps which are not as well integrated yet, Campendium and Roadtrippers. The Togo RV app just launches the Campendium website - not even the app - so it is easier to just go to the Campendium app. And it doesn’t appear I can even load routes I created in Roadtrippers (if I missed it please feel free to correct me). So integration is still lacking. That then leaves the RV GPS feature which I admit is the reason I still have this app, but unfortunately I haven’t been able to use it often because it does not support Apple CarPlay. Their competitor does, though I admit it is dreadful looking app on the car. Implement an even better looking CarPlay experience and you will certainly gain another star for sure! Overall this app alone is only ok, but I am satisfied with the value of the Roadpass Pro membership only because of what I get in their other apps such as Campendium and Roadtrippers. So keep working on it - I’m not canceling anytime soon as I am optimistic there are better features to come!

Great v1. ToGo is off to a good start for v1. They need to get up to date with compatibility with phones and iPads. Screen size didn’t adjust and some buttons were hidden. If your into Bata testing give it a try. If you get frustrated when apps don’t work smooth wait for v2.0

Not CarPlay Compatible. Like the app. However it isn’t CarPlay compatible. I drove 1,400 miles recently and was not able to bring the maps up on the screen in my 2020 Ram. This is a basic function by now. I will be canceling and shopping for another.

No Car Play. Can’t give this a much needed 4.5 with having car play. I might compare a route with apple or google maps. But won’t run this as my GPS when driving.

So much great information. Have it all in one place. Great trip info and suggestions.

Works ok, but needs refinements. I got this based on review on RV Miles. It’s better than several other apps I tried, but there are issues: 1). App crashes repeatedly even after removal and reinstalling. Very frustrating when you are in the back roads the tends to use and have no place to pull over and restart the app. I fly solo, so there is not a copilot to deal with the reboot. 2). Kicked out of the app at random times. Having to login again adds to frustration noted in #1. 3). The app seems to take a lot of backroads. Today from San Diego to Lake Havasu, instead of US 8 out of Dan Diego I was on CA state routes with a 16 ft RV and multiple switch backs up and down the hillsides. 4) I have noticed a number of links to campground websites are out of date or contain typos. More attention to this detail would make it east locate campgrounds in new areas when I don’t have recommendations. Thank you for your consideration of these items.

Not Impressed!. I cannot complete or close the registration screen. The APP does not recognize my 2006 National Dolphin 5342 RV, and there is no way and to close the registration screen. Even after re-booting my iPad, deleting APP, and re-installing it, the un-closeable registration screen is still there. It appears to me that this APP is not ready for Prime Time!

Not Reliable. I wanted to like this app, but … I tested the GPS routing for RVs several times in areas I was familiar with. In one case, where I was about minutes from my destination, it wanted me to turn onto a HWY going in another direction, then tried to route me on Forest Service roads which eventually would play out. On another test, it routed me about ten miles past my destination into a residential neighborhood. Both cases I used the app to search for my destination campgrounds, but the routes were totally unacceptable. If you value your safety, this app is not a good choice.

Beware of some exits.. Just picked up this app for our drive to Yellowstone and back. We’re in Pa so it got some good use. Only problems I have are the lack of remembering address to use for home and on the Pa turnpike it wanted me to exit the highway we’re there isn’t an exit. There is a service plaza but that’s not really legal to do so.

TRIED TWICE - FAILED TWICE. So I purchased this app thinking it was a great idea for RV traveling, WOW WAS I WRONG. I used it for the very first time and I followed the directions for the address I imputed to the camp ground. Their GPS took me down a small private dead end road and said I reached my destination, which I had not. Thank God I was able to turn my 31 foot RV around and get back on the road and use my regular GPS! The second time I attempted to use their GPS to take me to a camp ground, it failed to even recognize the address to the camp ground. It offered an out of state address which obviously is out right stupit, but it did not give me any recognizable address for my destination. SIMPLY PUT, I USED IT TWICE AND IT FAILED ME TWICE - THIS APP SCREWED ME OUTTA $50, DON’T GET SCAMMED FROM THIS APP!!!!!

Not that great, frustrating, complicated. It’s an ok app for features. The software folks had a big miss in that once a maintenance item is checked, even if by accident, it logs it with apparently no way to remove or edit.

Missing CarPlay support. Bought the membership for RV routing and made the mistake in assuming a driving navigation app would support CarPlay. Really disappointed to find that it does not. I now see developer responses saying it’s been on the radar for over a year, so I wouldn’t hold your breath about it actually coming. I see that you responded that CarPlay is on your radar. As I mentioned in my review you have been responding to comments about CarPlay support being missing from the app saying it’s on your radar for years, so that is pretty meaningless right now. Sounds like your are literally saying your are aware of CarPlay and not that you are or plan to actually do snitching about supporting it. I will not be renewing my account if it’s not supported when I come up for renewal.

I Love my Togo. I really like the checklists. They are indispensable. The maintenance reminders are great also. Helps keep everything running smoothly.

Trip log. Just getting started with this app but would love a place to keep up with our trips. Right now I keep it in my IPhone notes. I like to keep up with the travel dates, miles we traveled to the site, campground, our site number and notes what we liked and disliked. That way when someone ask me recommendations I can look back at my notes. Would be great to have it all under one place. Also can you add the maintenance requirements for Forest River Salem travel trailer?

Very disappointed. I got the premium because of RV miles. I figured if he was recommending this, he had used it and he was happy with the app. I mainly got it for the GPS feature which you can only use on your phone it will not work with CarPlay. So you have to have someone else helping you use the app or you pick up your phone and try to look at it while you’re driving not a very good idea! If this was a free app I would understand but an app that you pay $40 for. I’ve read that they’re going to do something with CarPlay but that was quite a while ago and it still hasn’t happened. I wish I had canceled my subscription before my free trial was over. I was hoping they might get CarPlay into their app but if it’s been over a year they’ve been talking about it god knows when it might happen if ever.

Don’t trust the GPS. I tried this for a day. No thanks. While navigating to one of the listed RV parks the GPS came up with a nonsensical route and tried to send me into a residential neighborhood with only one entry /exit. I was driving a 45 foot bus and towing a Jeep. Buyer beware, use the GPS at your own risk.

First Impression. I Just downloaded this app and after one trip, Im done with it. In life, first impression could last for a long time. In my very first trip using this app the GPS had me go by an exit off a highway to go almost 5 miles further down only to take the next exit and come back around and take the ramp I passed by from the the other side of the highway. Adding almost 15 minutes to my trip. Are you kidding me? Like if that wasn’t stupid enough, arriving at the destination, the GPS had me making a left turn to pull into a parking lot whole the apparent location (according to the GPS), was on my right side. I had to go all the way around the parking lot only to find out the RV Park wasn’t there. I look at GPS and it was on other side of the street. But wait, I entered the location of the destination only to find a low clearance walk building in front of me. It turns out that the RV park was actually straight ahead across the street about another 100 yards. Wether the wrong direction was your fault or a satellite issue, It put my family in danger backing out of the wrong destination spot. Canceling my subscription during trial period and first trip.

Great app wish it had CarPlay. Really a wonderful app that I’m happy to pay for. I just wish it had car play integration. Outside of that one tidbit, it’s really wonderful in every way

Lacks Screen Rotation. Are you kidding me? In today’s electronic world, this app does not rotate with the screen. This is the most basic of all things in the app world and it lacks that. As far as the rest of the app it has basic features, but it appears to be lack luster; not exciting. An I really find the “Developer response” so generic (meaning that it is automated script) that it is meaningless. So, the message here is to get into the 2021 and update your app.

Canceled plus no way to put in coupon. I wanted to join for a year but the 10 off coupon is rejected by Apple too bad we camp a lot and would love to use and review but I canceled the subscription. Campendium still wanted a subscription after choosing plus also, I thout Campendium was included? If it works later may try again

Terrible rv routes. Used once pulling a 43 foot toy hauler and this app took me down the worse route possible. I know there were better routes but blindly trusted this app to do what it was supposed to do. Would not recommend to anyone. Do not waste your money.

Inaccurate. Got this based on RV Miles suggestion. It’s a joke! I wonder if they even actually have used this app. It is so inaccurate it’s crazy! I put in a destination and if I had followed it I would have travelled literally 600 miles out of my way! Thankfully I checked it with my Garmin GPS. What a waste of money! Folks, don’t pay for the upgrade! It’s useless

Fails at critical basic things. If this app was free I would rate it higher but for $40/year this app needs to do better! I definitely will be canceling it before my free trial period is over! Its basic failures: 1. it’s not compatible with Car Play. It’s not safe for me to drive on my own in the RV using this app since I don’t want to look down to look at the screen. Therefore it can only be used when my husband and I are traveling together. All of the free map apps I use are compatible with Car Play; I certainly expect an app that costs $40/year to be compatible! 2. I don’t see a way to change the starting location. This is a problem; we like to plan ahead. For example, I would like to know how long it will take to go from Portland to Seattle when I’m in Northern California. The main reason this app appealed to me is to make sure we are avoiding routes with low clearance bridges and tunnels. I should be able verify this a week in advance. 3. It doesn’t seem to be possible to add a stop along a route. Again, this is possible with basically any other map app. Why should I pay $40 for something that can’t do this?

Map overlays. I just love using Roadtrippers for planning all my RV trips. It's fairly easy to use for an old timer like me, and yet very involved. I love that you can use Roadtrippers to tell me not only where certain things are, but give the mileage to plan all our days and stays. I also use Harvest Hosts to plan some trips, but Roadtrippers is easier. Sometimes I have to go back and forth between the two. Now I am discovering the free overnight parking app, but again I have to switch back and forth. It would be lovely if there were an easy( remember, I'm in my 70s and not totally tech savvy) way to overlay one map over another and plan a trip that way. If there already is, please let me know and I will definitely bump you up to a five star. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I can’t believe I spent money to use this app. It has less than half the camping suggestions that other sites have. Four times it took us to gas stations that did not exist or were out if business. And it is not AT ALL user friendly. You put in the RV route gps (the only feature I even use now) and if you want to find gas or a restaurant along the way you have to completely back out of the gps route to find something. It does not save locations so you have to retype your entire destination (all the first default destinations are outside the US). And good luck loading anything if you don’t have decent wifi. Someone took my $40 and put it right onto their pocket because it did not go to trying to make this a better app. Use anything else!

Resistance to improve. I paid for this app hoping I could use the GPS feature. I reported the following issues several times: 1) The GPS doesn’t have a “previous destinations” option. 2) The app freezes in the middle of the road and you have to restart completely, which very annoying and can be dangerous. This issue coupled with #1 above makes this app useless. You have to pull over safely and re enter the entire address again. What’s most annoying is the fact that the developers do not make any improvements although they tell you “I understand your point. “ Very unprofessional approach. I am looking for other apps that will actually do the job.

Not ready for public consumption. Made it through the verification process with no trouble. The first app screen to register info was a different story. Made to the bottom of page to save then it kicked out my model then kicked out the optional VIN. Entered all info several times with the same result. Can’t go any further. Not impressed. Will delete soon.

Don’t download if you need GPS. The GPS gives directions ONLY from your current location. Let’s say you’re in New York, then headed for Pennsylvania and then Tennessee. You can get directions to PA from your NY location. But you can’t map out the directions from PA to TN. Just not a functional app.

App or WWW? Can’t makeup it’s mind!. Many of the links in the App take me to the website where I must login again to try and accomplish the task. It also demands that I turn on cookies in my browser. Why? I got a message that my Plus subscription is about to expire, but I haven’t found how/where to find my subscription nor to renew it. The “Manage Subscription” link in My Account returns the message “Changes may take a moment to appear” but nothing ever appears! The app seems to need more work to be useful to me w/o switching back & forth from the app to the web.

Very dissatisfied. So far this app is very disappointing sure you can put in detail information for your Rv and download Roadtrippers but the gps doesn’t use that information. Also it will not even allow you to put in your home address it say it can’t find it. The campground search is useless.

Very disappointed. I wanted a route to Mt Rushmore as we are pulling a 5th wheel. This app doesn’t even take you to the parking lot. It leaves you out on highway 16. There is RV parking at the monument. 244 is drivable with RVs. And that was after I cleared ALL the filters. Very, very disappointed in this app. I’m glad I could cancel my “free” subscription.

No iPad support?. I don’t understand why anyone would develop a navigation app that doesn’t support an iPad. There is no landscape support and the small iPhone screen is ugly on iPad.

Unable to register vehicle. Can’t get past the registration screen. Can’t use the search feature on the data base. I typed in Airstream and nothing comes up so I press the “use “airstream” button” and move to the model line. Same issue in that box. No search feature available for classic so I type in. When I move to next box, the airstream that I put in there is now gone. This can be a very cool application that I know THO spent a ton of money on developing. Just need it to work or at least be able to get past the registration screen! Unfortunately, I may never use this app as I am deleting it from my device now and just won’t do anything with it until I hear something in the news. Hope someone is reading this and fixes issues. Tim

No routes found. This used to be a good app. However, early this year the app stopped providing RV safe driving directions. No matter what I do, the app always says “no routes found”, even when simply getting directions for something 2 blocks away. It stopped working at the worst possible time too, just days after we left for this year’s cross-country road trip. I had to resort to using Google Maps and other apps to determine what was safe for our RV. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I’ve checked for updates to the app for iOS (but there aren’t any). So, I’m leaving this review for the app’s developers to look into and for other users of the app to be aware of before relying on this app.

Ok, but missing some key features!. Missing CarPlay interface! That in itself would make it better then “OK”. A few of the other things I feel are missing are the ability for this app and road trippers, which are the same subscription for me, to to talk to each other to just load my planned trip. Lacking that, the ability to program multiple stops on your days trip. Actual routing I do find better then the next RV safe GPS app. Also better lane guidance and graphics would be nice.

Screen rotation ?. Is there a setting that can rotate the screen to make it I-pad user friendly ??

Good App. I got this app from recommendations from RV miles. I think it tries to be the best but it fails at accuracy in the details of the camping locations. For example one location shows it’s a camping location which it really is just a side attraction. another is where on several occasions where links are either broken and or links no longer exists. One description states one camping location has full hookups when the full hookups are for long term sites only and this camping location is a state park and most know not all state parks have full hookups. It’s discrepancies like this that make this app with such high expectations fail because it lacks the details that one would expect. I think a update is definitely needed to reflect accurate information and accurate locations of campgrounds. One more thing no noticed there appears to on several areas on the map where locations appears with the same name only to be taken to the same description of the campground with a link that doesn’t provide the correct information. The only thing it has going for it is the actual GPS while driving we found it very good at taking us on better road network for our specific needs. That’s why I gave it 4 stars. I hope in future updates they will get more accurate in the details.

Wish it worked with CarPlay. Forgot to cancel the free trial now stuck with it for a year. It’s ok, but should (and needs to) work with CarPlay. That’s the only issue I have with it.

Total garbage. This is like a late 90’s gps but worse. I requested and refund almost immediately. Here are a few of the issues I found while using it. 1. No CarPlay 2. No landscape mode 3. Several times it can’t find address (even when clicking on the suggested one) 4. Stupid routing. (I put my 40’ rv specs in and my trailer specs in and it STILL routed me to low bridges, super sharp turns, no truck roads etc. 5. The maps are super low resolution 6. Can’t control voice guidance There are several RV GPS options on the App Store that are way better than this for way less money.

Cookies…why?. Since when does an app not allow a user to login and demands that the user must change the setting on my phone to allow invasive data collecting cookies in order for it to work.

GPS issue. We just got the app and tried using it, going from Gunnison, Co to Estes Park, Co. The voice commands on directions only gave partial information. It said only three words then stopped. Like in a 1/4 mile…..When it should have said in a 1/4 mile turn left on highway 285. Like not having a GPS at all. I had to use my truck GPS which directed me like I was not towing a RV. Not Happy at all so far.

Apple car play compatible. Would love to have Apple car play compatibility. We purchased this in order to make sure we only used roads that were safe for our RV. Unfortunately, we can’t use it with Apple CarPlay. I hope this will be rectified soon. Otherwise, the app is great and gets us to where we want to go safely using roads we are allowed to travel.

Useless. Useless when trying to plan for a trip, as it won’t show you where you’re searching.

Meh. Have used this app since September 2019. Free version Has worked ok until September 2021. This latest update has nullified editing maintenance checklist edits. At $39.99 a year for RV+ I don’t see that happening. Let’s fix this because you acquired my other app.

Doesn’t load!!!. After hearing shut how helpful this app would be I wanted so badly for it to work but couldn’t even get past the add my RV page !! Bummer and disappointed

Can’t use. My motorhome (Georgie Boy) wasn’t in the database. Dead in the water; can’t use app.

Can’t register. I can’t register my vehicle because it will not let you put a model in of any kind

Doesn’t have my model RV. Trying to evaluate against other RV navigation apps such as RV Life however this app doesn’t have my model (Grand Design Momentum). A non-starter for me.

BEWARE!!. They will automatically bill you for another year without any warning. Very shady operation here.

Awful navigation. Uneditable navigation, website doesn’t align with app. More marketing material then RV navigation. Thank goodness for a free trail, now if I could only get that time back messing with this garbage.

NOT WORKING. Can’t get past the setup screen.

Deleted. It didn’t have our Rig. Manufacturer do couldn’t even use. Requires to many cookies etc. tired of that from Apple apps

No local data store. At this time the app stores your data on their servers. It will not work without an Internet connection.

Togo RV. This is frustrating, I can’t even get into the app. Please help

Buggy, Buggy, Buggy. Like others, I can’t get past the registration screen. I’ve deleted it; other apps that work will be used.

Up Front. Please be up front with costs. 1 star.

Unable to open app. After downloading app, I received an email to verify my email. When I click on verify, it takes me to Edit Profile page. Never was able to open ...

TT not in database. Could not add my TT. Hopefully their database will be updated as this seems to be a common issue.

Won’t let me input my info. It does not show my fifth wheel will not let me get I to app without ugh deleting

No CarPlay. Competitors have CarPlay which is a game changer for the RV.

Cant register, nit good app. Boooo

Can’t get past registration screen. Get get in. Save yourself some time and skip this one

Set up. Apparently a Forest River FR3 isn’t in their database. Keep plugging it in for the model and it won’t take it. Disappointed...

Hot Garbage App w/ Predatory Billing. App functions poorly. Very difficult to cancel and get your money back.

Great App. I love this app. Checklist feature is nice.

I love the game and I am a little bit more. B

Doesn’t Work. Can’t set up trailer.. Am unable to set up trailer information in the app.

Stop, don’t do it.. Unless you are going to drop down 49.95 for this app, don’t bother. I am disappointed at the number of apps that use this marketing scheme.

Can't sign up. Pop up key board doesn't work. Can't even register

Unable to complete registration.. Title says it all. As others have complained. End of conversation.

Marginal at best. The checklist, maintenance lists are marginal at best. You can add to their generic descriptions, but nothing better than you can create in any task app. They do however ask for a lot of information about your RV like VIN, state registered, make, model. As a I read their privacy policy, this app is just a scam to collect your data, share it, and send you targeted adds. They offer to help make reservations, and have partnered with “Roadtrippers” to help you plan your Itinerary. Just click the below button. What button? There was no button available! You can make your own reservations on 99% of the campgrounds out there online without it being brokered by a third party. They in the end, this is just an app to share and sell your data. It didn’t even work on my Android phone.

Not able to cancel free trial. The Togo RV app is a joke. The app doesn’t show up under subscriptions so you are not able to cancel it. I contacted Apple and was told the app shows as free so they can’t refund or dispute the fee. I called and emailed them several times but did not hear from anyone until the 59.99 was taken from my account. They would not refund the charge.

GPS. I joined for the safe GPS portion, but it doesn’t work with Apple Car, so pretty much useless if I can’t see the map on my larger dash screen.

WTH !. I made some personalized / custom lists, now I can only access them with the PAID SUBSCRIPTION ! ! ! Surely I should be allowed to get what I put in the checklist section ! ! ! What a RIPOFF ! ! !

Garbage route gps. Horrible route choice. Told it to avoid unpaved roads. Took us down a gravel road for 14 miles that ran parallel to I-44. Complete gerbage

I paid for this Useless and totally frustrating app!. I AM SO FRUSTRATED BY THIS TOTALLY USELESS APP!

No CarPlay is deal breaker — Good app first time RV owner. Update:: no CarPlay is a deal breaker. Pretty cool app — was given a year free from Thor. But since app gps doesn’t support CarPlay may not renew.

No max speed and no CarPlay. As an RV nav app it’s mostly useless without being able to set a max speed. Routes times will always be way off, and no CarPlay support for a nav app?!

Not ready for real time.. Can’t get past sign up screen. Nothing seems to work. iPhone screen size only. RVers use iPads.

Nope. You lost me and. I won’t come back. Have tried for 3 days to log in, no go. Deleted the app and tried 3 different times... no go. Guess this app should be called NOGO instead of TOGO
