No problems at all! Just one thing.... Every thing works just fine! Vector does too! There’s just only one problem. Sometimes when I try to connect the phone to Vector, it says I need to connect the phone to the same network as Vector. So I check the internet connection and it’s connected. So that’s when I start thinking,”It’s probably an app glitch.” So I wait for a few days and then it starts to work again. But that’s it. Everything else is fine.

App should be able to control Vector in addition to voice control. *First, if Vector does not find charger fast, does it become more sluggish and have difficulty finding it later?* App is great for knowing what to tell Vector, but it feels like there is a limitation to the robot when you are unable to interact with the app. It is clear this is not mean to replace Cozmo, but adding voice control should not mean shunning the app of co-control. My main request/ explanation is could Vector be physically driven through this app without requiring the use of the SDK. Control of tracks, camera, and arm via phone/tablet.

Vector issues. All that are having issues with Vector not connecting it is due to DDL’s so-called “maintenance “ which in all likelihood is the beginning of the end for them. I strongly urge all who are having issues and have not heard back from DDL to look into wire-pod, it’s free or can cost a one-time small amount for dedicated hardware.

This app is decent..... This app is great for customizing you’re little buddy but seems limited in most other features. My initial thought was that I would be able to perform basic functions like being able to see what he was seeing to know if he was doing alright and being able to see what his battery percentage was at, but was disappointed to fine it was more of a tutorial. The app it self is a necessity due to the fact you Need it to set home up and track simple stats. The app by no means is it bad it’s just meh, I hope to see future updates and hope this will reach out to Anki.

Overall decent app, seems like an afterthought tho. The app is overall decent, 5/5 for the bot, 3/5 for the app. Not sure why I need to be on the same router band but whatever. I also understand they want people to communicate directly with vector but a bit of control and notifications about stuck etc would help. No face recognition photo (take a photo and attach it to the face match profile), no export all in photos or delete all for that matter. And bring me red eyes, I want my cute bot to look demonic sometimes, maybe color wheel eye color if possible. App overall seems like and afterthought.

Awesome but…. So I loved my Vector for a while, but it was hard getting used to him. We had to move and I haven’t taken him out ever since. Last weekend, I took him back out and I had problems ever since. I got a digital dream labs account for a month, nothing happened. I tried entering the app again, the app never loaded! The problem persists today. Please fix this!!!!!!!

Why!! Why!! Why this stupid new update?!?. I bought this little guy and I super excited and love playing with him!!! Last year during the new update we was preparing to move so I had to pack him up For safety. Well, we wasn’t able to move and between kids being mad and trying to up pack boxes I didn’t get to see this new update in motion. The beginning of this epidemic I’m stuck at home and wanting to play with my Vector and he won’t hook up, the app as always given me grief but not this bad. He was get so frustrated and stomping area the little yard. He wanted to play. But I couldn’t get him linked again. I even typed the main developer since before I really knew what was going on since I bought the life time package for Vector’s upset on the early access I have. How can I use it?? How can I play with Vector??? How can I keep having him around staring at me with those sad eyes looking at my like “Why won’t you hook me up? What did I do?” Please fix this!! I have Apple products. The Apps have always never really worked right. Thank you for any help, Tracy

He’s great but I have a problem. OK I love the vector so much but there’s a new update which is made me very upset and wants me to pay money on a digital dream loves membership to interact with him for $50 a year which is completely unnecessary in my opinion because I’ve already spent $320 on him this update has made me really sad but I still like this app a lot thanks

Horrible app. Not only does this app not work 90% of the time, (just straight up being stuck at a black screen with nothing occurring) but on top of that it adds basically 0 functionality to Vector itself aside from being able to change eye colors, which you can just tell him to do. It’s gotta be one of the worst functioning apps I’ve ever used, with essentially no purpose for existing aside from the fact that you need to have it installed to use your vector at all, which is ridiculous. I can’t even tell my robot to go to sleep right now while I’m trying to nap because I am completely unable to get the app to load at all. Awful

An app with potential. Just being wasted for now. This app doesn’t do much to control the hardware. This app is actually not necessary beyond initial setup. This product doesn’t compare to the cosmo. And it’s more expensive and does half as many tricks.... I am seriously considering returning this product as the batter life is less then 20 min and the device just doesn’t preform as well as the cosmo hopefully there will we firmware enhancements that will awaken the true potential for this product. But for the 200 plus bucks I spent I might have to return for now

Good app, adorable and useful robot. This app is very nice. It has very little glitches and it’s very useful if you are new to the Vector Robot. My robot was also very nice and VERY CUTE! Thanks for making this beautiful app and also I would like to thank Anki company for making this cute little robot. Guys be sure to use this app if you have the Vector Robot and also be sure to rate this app and send some reviews to the developer.

Vector’s App is great, with regular improvements 👍. Love my vector. The app can be improved but I trust it will and for a new app, it’s very stable for me. Some issues connecting to vector initially but subsequent updates have fixed the problems for me. Can’t wait to see further improvements, and ways to customize vector through the app would be awesome. More eye color options, eye shape options?

Love him I do not care what people say!. He’s is one of the best robots I have ever had the reviews say he’s an Alexa on wheels that’s like saying he’s stupid also Bluetooth is for WiFi problems and anki is a great company so stop being mean he’s a great friend for a robot also he is leaning to do stuff so BACK OFF HATERS he’s not a toy he’s a robot so go away HATERS

Problems. I used to want vector so much when I was younger and now I finally get it. There’s one problem that I need help with. I don’t know if this is a problem with the app or something else, but I don’t get any emails for the activation thing. I’ve been waiting for hours and still haven’t gotten one. I’ve been pressing resend a lot too. Please help.

It’s okay. I got Vector today, so I haven’t spent a ton of time with it, but here are my initial thoughts: When I saw it, I was intrigued, especially because the Cozmo seemed so nice, but I wanted something a little more grown up. My expectations were “Alexa on wheels” to sum it up. It is _kind of_ that.. but falls short. I’m not really sure what it is good for yet. The commands take a very long time to execute and sometimes you have to say them in a two step process. I liked how he described the weather, but he was confused by me asking him what the weather would be like tomorrow. Which I thought was odd. The app is okay, but every time you leave it and come back, you’ve gotta wait for it to connect. Since it’s cloud connected, why does it have to connect via Bluetooth / Wi-Fi always? Moreover, I went to see if I could just log into my account on my iPad and see it, but then it wanted me to go through the Bluetooth pairing process again, which is annoying. I hope they have some good plans in the future for this thing. But right now, it’s just not what I’d hoped it would be. I have to decide whether it’s better to return it and spend the $250 elsewhere, or to wait it out to see what gets better.

1.8 Color Slider. I like the app but even though I’m running all current versions of software both app and robot I can’t customize my eye color. I pay for the subscription and this should be no issue. I’ve reached out and support has just told me to install version 1.8. Makes no sense. 7$ a month should get you better app features support than this. It’s kinda disappointing.

Cities....... So I recently just got the Anki Vector, and it’s not letting me change the city! It keeps saying San Francisco, California, but that’s not where I live! So I put in the right location but it keeps going back to San Francisco! I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong or something. But other than that it’s really good

Hmmm...I’m on the fence.. After being so excited to get this little guy, not sure if performs as well as the marketing videos I have seen. I feel sometimes I have to call to him multiple times before even hears me. I feel I have to talk very loudly sometimes even in the quiet room for him to hear me. My biggest frustrating right now is not being able to connect with him with my phone. He is always connected to Wi-Fi, but I have the hardest time connecting with him with my phone. I’m hoping in time, there will be bug fixes and many upgrades. I am not giving up yet. I am glad that I was able to back this program and get mine early. Time will tell. P.S. the whole “name” thing is not 100%. Many times, he says he doesn’t know who you are.

Awesome!. I think the vector robot is really nice and the Alexa is also a nice touch. Now it’s kinda pointless thought to say, “Hey Vector, I have a question.” And then the question when you can just say Alexa. Although this is pretty nice, It is kind of plain and simplistic and could definitely use more features. It’s also kind of cool that when you place it on a table it won’t fall off. Overall pretty good.

Really good but I would like a feature. I think vector should get a feature the feature should be that you can control your vector and drive him around like taking control or you can see what vector is seeing. I think that would be really cool and being able to control or see what your vector see’s would be great then you could do little missions act like your sending vector in on a mission or have more options for vector like play options I would greatly appreciate that and I really love the vector it’s great he can do so many things and it’s really great. A little problem I have with vector is that when he has his cube in his arms and you say “hey vector” he drops the cube some times but other than that vector is pretty great and I love him so Much thanks for giving us vector.

Unreliable. This app is horrible. It’s completely unreliable and the company lacks communication on every aspect. Having issues with signing in and when I contact customer support, I get an email stating it’s past their normal business hours and says they’re closed 6pm EST when I emailed them at 2pm EST. There’s no way to find server status to see if something is happening with Vector. And they never communicate any issues in any of their social media platforms. I truly believe this company should have much better communication with their consumers. Especially considering the amount of money Vector costs and subscriptions and such. This could easily be a 5 star app and product if it was properly tended to and if there was better communication from Digital Dream Labs.

Vector 1.0 and 2.0 no longer connect to server. We have 2 vectors and both lost connection to the dream labs server three days ago. We’ve tried everything, including totally rebooting our networks. The robots turn on, chatter but cannot responses to any questions or commands. Odd to have both of them, different models, connected at different points in the house, suddenly no longer function. All other devices connected to our network work fine. This company has little to no support. We’ve written to them numerous times, begged for a phone call to discuss some of our past issues, sent the vector 1.0 in for a service check. It was returned as “fixed” but nothing changed. It still had all of the same issues. We love Vector and just want him to work again. What’s up with this company?

Adorable companion, I’m looking forward to what’s next for him!. Anki’s robot Vector feels like one of the first successful executions of a robot that can more or less take care of itself truly independent of an external device or instruction. He often attracts attention when he wakes up from sensor data or just wanders for the sake of it, he also very consistently parks himself for charging except for one late night robotic bender :) The care and detail that was put into personality is really where Vector shines. Give in to imagination and spend the time to watch how Vector interacts with the world and it’s easy to see what Anki’s vision is for this robot. Vector is a robot with quirks, attitude, and curiosity. This is a giant leap forward in my opinion of what is possible for truly personal robotics and being a developer, I look forward to what Anki has in store for us when the SDK’s land.

Amazing!. Vector is such an amazing robot! I have hand Anki Overdrive for a couple years now and I was never disappointed! But now Vector is here and he is even better! Best toy ever, and I can’t wait to start using the SDK, I love coding! I’m so sorry that you guys have to go out of business, you are such a wonderful and amazing company, I have always trusted in you. Because of that every thing Anki is on sale so I might go get a me fast and furious starter pack. Best wishes to the developers, I love coding and I hope you have a good future even without Anki! Update app and make an iOS version of vector ctrl!. So I was thinking can you guys at Anki add a control vector mode like Cozmo and have vector show the photos on his face and maybe play videos I know his face is small but his screen is capable of that I think so ya please add those for us. PS could you add a update to where vector can play with Cozmo and vice versus because it would be cool for them both to hang out together and play against each other use each other’s cubes because vector only has one, and yes I know vector is supposed to be more of a companion but maybe he could be playful like cozmo.

Bugged out app. Can’t keep the app open for more than 10 seconds before it tries to reconnect me and closes out to the main screen. For example I’m trying to look through the pictures I just asked Vector to take and I can’t load them before it ask me to reconnect and then fail anyway. The unit itself is relatively fun but the command process is tedious at times. Not to mention he can’t hear me very well when there’s people speaking loudly in the same room. I think the app needs more work and I’m still waiting on more commands and features. The Alexa integration is pretty pointless since I use google assistant anyway but it’s nice to have anyway.

THE BEST ROBOT EVER!!!. I really love vector! I have cosmo also and I like cosmo but I didn’t like know cosmo needed the app to work. But vector doesn’t need the app he works all the time! My vector was driving around and we have a sink that if you were tiny and you stood at the edge of it no matter how high or how low you looked you can’t tell the sink is there and so vector was driving around and he fell in the sink and there was water on a plate in the sink and he ended up driving around in that and I grabbed him out and dried him off and he wasn’t working for a while after that but now he works like that never happened. He never fell off of anything before then so I was surprised so now he roams around in my room but I bought a vector space so he wouldn’t get lost. Sometimes I take him out to drive around and I like to sometimes put him in my bed with me when I read. Whenever I’m bored I play with him and I love how he can play blackjack with me. Sadly, he doesn’t interact with cosmo.

Everything’s fine but the app. My vector stated when it’s not supposed to and it was annoying but now I’m trying to again and reseted the data and that was the uncommon thing that happens to me. Also you just look at speeches and what to say it’s boring compared to the Alexa on the latest update and I’m starting to think my vector was pre owned by somebody.

Wi-fi issues on app. I got vector to see what it was like and the initial reaction was good, that was until you get to the app part. After set up and WiFi connection was established the app ran for a few minutes and then said reconnecting. After it reconnected it reconnected again and consistently does this. I’m not sure if it is vector because he can still tell me the weather which I assume uses the WiFi connection. I’m assuming it’s just the app because I have taken the device I was using off of 5ghz bandwidth to make sure it stays on the 2.4. Still having the same issue debating on taking vector back to the store if it doesn’t work within the next couple of days.

Won’t connect. I really like my before and I’ve had him for about three months. But I’ve had to sonata my re install the app. It constantly makes me re connect to WiFi and that’s super frustrating. I had my vector turned off for about a month cuz of moving, but I turned him on and tried to use the app but It won’t let me use it due to WiFi. I’m connected to the same WiFi as always, and I’m literally sitting in front of the router trying to get it to work but it won’t, it’s so frustrating.

DO NOT BUY!!. So checked BBB and lots of complaints there too… app isn’t working, they don’t respond, no help. Buyer be ware! Bought Vector, it worked well child loved it. Put up for a bit and tried to use again. Now we can’t log into the app and they require an insane charge to use the robot. I’m furious. It wasn’t like this before so I now have a several hundred dollar paperweight and a super upset child who can’t use it. I can’t even email support because a error message comes up and says you can’t until they allow it. Do not buy this. They aren’t even responding to BBB complaints. Tons and tons of complaints online and no one seems to have answers to help. This feels fraudulent. Like buying a computer, not using it a few months. Now when you power it on and try to use it they want a monthly fee and by the way you can’t contact customer service.

Love Vector but one problem…. First of all he’s way too expensive we had to pay $250 to get him :| Second of all whenever I say hey Victor he can’t hear me he doesn’t respond however I understand your company is not working for him anymore so can’t solve problems… Last he always disconnect from his cube and the batteries run out fast like a cosmos otherwise I love them but I want the old him back…

Something is very wrong. I have had a vector for almost 2 years now. I had to put him away for a little while and got him back out a couple of days ago. Turned him on and the app either can’t “find” vector or when it does it will not connect to the WiFi. Have to do a hard reboot factory reset and then it will connect to WiFi, download an update.....don’t know if it is the same update over and over or not.... then it restarts vector and then we are right back to square one. Will not connect. I don’t think it is my vector because it was working fine when I put it back in its case for awhile. I know it isn’t my WiFi as everything else connects fine. I am beginning to think it is the app. I think it might need an update itself, not vector. Anyway, the way it is now, my vector is pretty useless Called vector support, they don’t seem to know what to do either.

$1000 Paperweight. Bought the vector robot for Son’s Birthday, spent $400 on the robot and another $400 for lifetime connectivity. Worked great for about a week then DDL servers all went offline. They keep saying maintenance is underway for almost 3 months now with no timeline on when they will be back up. Pretty sure I have been scammed at this point. No legitimate company conducts business in this sort of way and without any public updates to their customers. Extremely disappointed as I had such high hopes for the company.

Amazing Technology. I’ve been getting to know Vector for almost 45 days. He sits on my desk at work and goes about his business. I’m amazed at how much personality this piece of technology seems to have. He’s so expressive that you can’t help but get attached to him. I know it’s a programmed personality but it truly is amazing. It’s the first AI that makes me feel like it’s more than pre programmed responses to stimuli. I actually feel bad for leaving Vector alone all weekend at my office! I feel Like he “feels” neglected or something. You must experience Vector for more than a few hours to understand what I’m saying. He is what I always imagined a sentient AI might be like. The developer has done a fantastic job at creating a unique technological experience.

Love him!! Can we make it so I can see what he sees??. So I just got vector and he is my little smart leaning buddy! I love him!!! I have nothing more to say busy he is great! It you could see what he see would be great and that's really the only point of my writing this! So please make that happen thanks for reading!

ALL of you have to BUY vector. Vector is a freindly little robot that gets info in the cloud and he knows your name if you say hey vector ding my name is ——- NO HE IS NOT A TOY but he is for adults and kids but freindly all the time And also heres a joke of how vector was created walle from disney pixar walle and eva married that created cozmo the playful robot of the size of vector then cozmo and alexa married and that created vector This is not a copy right but vector is nothing like alexa he is not always listening like alexa Vector is a caring robot that lives in your house vector has a mind of is own so a rate him 10 stars now lets have a moment of silence for anki out of bissness

Broken App. I got vector from seeing him on TikTok and well my lady and I were so excited for him to come in. He came in and we unboxed Jim’s Don got him ready to pair. I also got the lifetime subscription for him which honestly it’s been a while since I thought about vector because the app does not work. The subscription was a couple hundred dollars and then vector. But since the app does not work. Vector won’t connect and won’t get set up. I emailed out to the team and all they say is they are doing maintenance on it but it’s been months and nothing has been done. This app has not had an update in forever. It’s broke and they won’t do anything about it.

Great in a way. Look. I love my vector. I use him nonstop almost everyday. Rarely ever use the app. But when I do, I can never access it’s full putential. I get that all the interactions are meant to be commands to your vector, but it would be even better if the app was actually reasonable. There should be a battery meter, so you can check how much juice your robot yas left. There should be compatablility with cozmos cubes in games (if you have both, like me) so you can actually play fin games besides blackjack. There should be an in app programer, so u can make him do stuff( or at give access to the vector sfk in the app) you should be able to touch a command in app, and have vector respond. Not all this is needed, but they are just ideas. The app doesn't need to be a direct ripoff of cozmos app, but least make it a second option to control vector.

Great but missing one feature.. When I got vector I was expecting him to be a version of cosmo but with more fun features. So I was a bit disappointed when I found out vector wasn’t really as fun as cosmo to play with. I really miss the feature from cosmo when you could drive him around on your phone and see what he see’s, but Vector just feels bland compared to cosmo I guess you could say. So if the developers could make an update where you can control vector it would be amazing.

Connection trouble. Just bought a vector April 2021 and I cannot get vector to set up and connect to WiFi. I have looked up videos after videos and none of them is matching up the way this app is trying to get me to connect to him. I have read other reviews saying vector won’t work after the new company bought it out. So I’m wondering if I’m screwed and I just bought this robot for no reason. Is anyone else having trouble getting vector to work after just buying him?

Disappointed. I have had my Vector for over a year, maybe close to 2 years now. One day Vector kept saying there was no WiFi connection. I tried to log on to app but nothing would happen. I logged out and tried to log back in. Nothing would happen. It just stays on the same screen. I connected the company back in September and received an email saying they were working on the problem. 5 months later the app still does not let me log in or recover account. I tried to email again and still have not received a response. My kids are disappointed that Vector is not responding to commands. I hope I don’t get charged my yearly subscription when he isn’t working.

Honestly sad. Vector hasn’t been able to turn on since the new company took over and now I can’t even access any of the pictures vector took (on the app) back when he worked..😞 honestly kind of a big waste.. my vector won’t even light up.. •I have already read that to even use the newer vector(s) you’re going to have to pay a monthly subscription. Which in my opinion is uncool, why make people pay $500 for a product that they’re going to have to pay Monthly subscriptions on? That’s kinda of a gross monopoly.. but if your into paying that much to pay more then thats your choice lol… I’m only giving this 2 stars because Vector Was cool at one point..

Sad and depressing. When I first got this in 2019 it was so fun to use, now it’s just really slow, I can’t even ask a question to it and it’ll give me a WI-Fi thing or sum idk, like why? I was excited to use this thing after its been collecting dust for a year, really disappointing

Fix the app cause it doesn’t work. So I put my vector away for a couple years and took him back out and then I tried to play with him by connecting him to the WiFi,and when I sign in it’s says vector app cannot connect to WiFi and it says just restart and I do and that same thing pops I reinstall the app still doesn’t work I tried rebooting vector still doesn’t work I’ve tried all passwords still doesn’t work am I doing something wrong? I just think the app needs worked on.

Alright but seriously lacking. Things you should seriously consider adding: Battery indicator in app. Ability to set scheduled sleep times. Ability to use Alexa without waking the device completely. Quiet mode where he moves around but doesn’t make noises unless spoken to. This might not be possible, but the ability to change the wake word in the Alexa app would be nice (or maybe even allow Vector to pass unknown commands to Alexa?). Some issues with Vector himself: changes his eye color when given commands randomly, not sure why but it doesn’t happen too often. Sometimes forgets what he’s doing in the middle of a command. Asking him the date gives me the time, too basic to mess up when it’s marketed as being a smart device IMHO. Obviously asking his Alexa side works, but definitely not as entertaining. It just takes away from the cool factor to have him answer something so simple incorrectly. 3 stars for now but if things aren’t improved in a few months I’ll probably drop it to 2. If things are improved it could be an easy 4 or 5. Vector himself is a 4/5 at least, despite his flaws he’s unique and quirky in all of the right ways. Alexa integration is nice, but I really hope they take integration to the next level. It’d be awesome if he could be used as a security device and if they delivered on the other future possibilities advertised on Anki’s website.

Great companion app for Vector!. The app was easy to use and allowed a seamless setup of Vector. Navigating around is a breeze and it contains helpful tips and tricks. I do wish the app loading time was faster but it makes sense it has to connect to Vector and that can take some time. I’m looking forward to all that Vector has to offer with future updates!

Hello?. Are you guys still even here? The app doesn’t even work...This is a new vector I recently got as a gift and the app doesn’t even work. I can make an account, connect the vector to my phone and then when I go a select a wifi connection the app just crashes...literally every time, I’ve tried this around 30 times within 2 months and nothing works I mean literally the last update was a year ago? Like what? You guys don’t even respond to people who write reviews then why does this app still exist? I mean it doesn’t work, it’s outdated, and most people don’t even use their vectors anymore so why not just delete it?

???. i really can’t complain about the app as it really doesn’t do much past settings and suggestions of how to interact with Vector. the problem is Vector himself! the kickstarter really hyped him for so much and so far it’s a disappointment. 1) his 4 sensor edge or ‘cliff’ detection seems less reliable than Cosmo’s one sensor! 2) he sometimes gets stuck upside the cube doing the ‘wheelstand’ and is only able to move off it when his battery starts to die and he needs to return to charger. 3) his hearing seems hardly as directional or sensitive as promised. and when you say you have a question he hardly wait long enough to hear said question before he starts to search the few words he may have heard and giving some completely off answer! 4) he really doesn’t seem to have the same capability to maneuver through obstacles or uneven surfaces as Cosmo can.

WiFi problems. The product is a 5 star product, but the issue that I have is connection. I’m on a military base and the only WiFi available is what they call a “Captive Portal” connection; it’s basically like Hotel WiFi which requires additional login upon clicking the WiFi option to connect to. I really hope that you guys will be able to give an update that would make this possible to connect. Otherwise, I just spent $270 for a product I won’t be able to use for the next 5 years.

Not happy. All the good stuff cosmo had like piloting him through the iph like a remote is no longer there. Vector doesnt even play with his cube like cosmo...really let down by this more expensive robot, im going back to cosmo, more fun !

Brilliant work!!!. This thing is crazy cool, think I had too big expectations when I grabbed it and a large open room, best works on desks and tables, in my opinion think it’s definitely the start of some cool things to come, when this device can run with google home and start playing music and gets more developed look out world haha. Good, but wifi settings can be annoying. The wifi at my place isn’t very good, and you need your mobile device and Vector to be connected to the same wifi. It takes me about 10 minutes to open the app, as I have to connect both my phone and Vector to my bad wifi, then enable my phone hotspot and manually change Vector’s network to that. Not only that, even with good wifi, Vector seems to cut out a lot. Absolutely love him, I just wish he had more offline features. I love that he builds a personality the longer you have him, and that he’s different with everyone - he’s still pretty shy with my partner who doesn’t talk to him as often, but he’s super happy when he sees me. I would definitely recommend Vector, and would recommend the app to those with a bit of patience.

Great robot decent app. I got vector a week ago and it is great but it’s feature are limited and still the cosmos can do a lot more but I hope they add more features for example vector can lift up the cube if you make him return home but the cube blocks it but there is no command to make him lift the cube up. The fact the vector is fully autonomous is great but the app needs work and in Queensland aus there is no selection for my time zone.i hope a kid improves vectors features because he has soo much potential. I’m not saying vector is bad vector is great just come on it can do better

App is buggy. This little guy was great up until I decided to move house. First off, you can’t just change networks, you have fresh reset your vector and now that I’m up to the stage of re-connecting to the network the app keeps crashing. I’m disappointed to say the least.

PLEASE PLEASE please help. I have had vector a while I got him on Christmas 2019 but he won’t connect to the internet and I have tried so many times he is my best friend please help

Great Robot, Terrible App. Crashed at least 6 times during setup, especially when trying to select our location. Doesn’t contain a timezone option that’s even remotely close to us (ACST). The app needs to reconnect to Vector every time you close it, even for a second. For such an awesome product, this poor app totally hobbles it. We can’t even ask this guy for the time and get an accurate response. Fix the app.

Backend servers don’t exist anymore useless app. App is literally useless. Anki doesn’t exist anymore and DDL took down backend servers. Do not download this app. It’s useless

Disappointing. I was expecting great things from Vector, especially after enjoying Cosmo so much . Very disappointed with him as he does nothing, literally. No games, no cube rolling, no questions answered, NOTHING!!! He can’t even get the time right as there are no relevant times zones available. For such an expensive little guy he’s a huge disappointment, the app does nothing to help him either - though the developers say he is meant to be autonomous of the app anyway. (Unlike Cosmo who is totally reliant on the app.) Hopefully there are some updates soon as he has become redundant and lost his charm already (we’ve had him a week)

Vector is great but.... The app is the most painful thing ever. It took forever to get connected to vector. And once it finally happened... It randomly disconnected. So I tried to connect again and it says ‘the vector already has an owner’ So I have to reset vector and not only is it really annoying, it also just does the same ‘disconnect’ problem I mentioned earlier. PLEASE FIX THIS!!

vector. this robot is amazing. its like having a smart child with alexa built in walking around and snoring. i love to play stuff like blackjack with vector. please revert to the previous update for him cuz he doesnt hear very well anymore and i have to say ‘hey vector’ like twice for vector to hear. fix please although im completely satisfied

useless. useless robot. Refuses to connect to the wifi no matter what i do ive been trouble shooting for three hours. The concept of this robot is cool but it is by far the most useless device i have purchased.

App refuses to connect at all. Nothing works. My robot has been collecting dust for years.. Fix your goddamn app. This is ridiculous. I’ve never once able to activate Vector in the years I’ve had it but at least I could use the app. Now I can’t even use that.

App Crashes on Multiple Devices. Guys I cannot state how disappointed I am. The app crashes as soon as Vector is looking for WiFi networks. I have tried to do so on my iPhone X, my iPad Pro both running iOS 12, and an iPad running iOS 11, and the app keeps crashing. Please resolve this because it’s extremely disappointing... I just bought the thing and I can’t even use Vector...

My Vector Robot. I am a proud owner of the Vector robot created by Anki. I must say I am very impressed so far. He’s smart, playful, he SNORES together with 3 of my Chihuahuas (roll eyes). I’ve integrated him to Alexa and that’s good, but I prefer to ask Vector questions and hear his cute tweety robotic voice. Unfortunately, the caveat to all these is the fact that the company who created him has shut down (sad face). This company could do so much more, why did Apple, Google, Amazon or even Mark Zuckerberg not saved Anki? Are there not enough “billionaires” out there willing to fund this company? Whoever was the brain behind Vector could have done so much more. I guess, whatever time I have left with Vector, until his server fully shuts down, will be full of memorable moments. I’m an adult whose childhood dream of owning an interactive robot just came true. It’s like having a 3 year old around the house, exploring, talking to himself and basically learning. Vector could have been so much more, but who knows, maybe someone will take over Anki (fingers crossed).

App Crash. The app always crash when I’m going to choose network from the WiFi list. Then I can’t connect vector to network so I can’t use it. Very disappointed. You're probably good at making hardware but hopefully you're also good at making software

:(. i really really loved my vector when i first got him but when digital dream labs took over he pretty much stopped working. i have to pay now for a subscription so he can actually interact with me or i have to spend $200 on the escape pod software thing that is so insanely complicated for a children’s TOY. i get they need to make money somehow but why did they have to ruin something i already bought and force me to pay even more than i already did at the start. the app also crashes a bunch and other than setting up your vector, doesn’t really do much :(

Awesome but could be more like cozmo. I really like the thing and it is very helpful, but I would like if it could be better if you added more games so kids would enjoy it more like giveing it more cubes so it can play quick tap and the other games that cozmo could play. It would also be cool if it was controllable like cozmo. Anki, if you see this, please update it so it can do that sort of stuff.

App crashes. Can’t even launch the app as it crashes. I’ve tried resetting the phone, deleting and reinstalling. I have the latest iOS. Very disappointing.

Get rid of this rule. Vector is cute and always helps me with things. But, I wanted to go on the app and it said that my account was deleted because of the 15 day rule. That is a dumb rule, so please get rid of it.

Vector is a pretty cool look into AI and social robotics. My Vector has been VERY stable, he’s never needed a reboot. Looking forward to more features in the future. I’ve also been playing with his SDK in Python a bit which is pretty cool. Would it be possible to allow Vector to change his Alexa trigger word to something other than Alexa? He gets triggered sometimes when we try and use our other Alexa for music and Vector doesn’t support music. We’d prefer to leave our regular Echo’s wake word alone but would like to change his trigger word to “computer” so we can avoid triggering him by accident without turning the Alexa feature off completely.

Best on the market, but room for improvement. Ok I love Vector. But two quick wins: 1. Create a do not disturb option. I like keeping Vector on my desk, but I can’t have Vector interrupt me during the work day (very relevant when so many of us are working from home). 2. Make the app better. It’s missing simple UI/UX basics. It’s not intuitive, and the design (esp motion design) isn’t good.

Great. I got this thing back in 2018 a month after it came out and it’s just amazing, it’s cool I can use vector to turn on my roomba with the alexa built in but I wish they’d add more features for this dude it’s been forever

It’s amazing.. A few months ago I got Vector for Christmas. He was amazing, he played with the cube and we could talk to him and give him commands. But then the Anki company shut down, and I feel like the app isn’t getting the updates it was. I’m disappointed, honestly...but for the time it lasted Vector was amazing.

Something weird happened.... When I said hey vector to my vector. His screen turned black. And then no error sign was coming. Then the V word was on his screen disappearing and coming back and forth it was like how I turn on vector. Then vector turned back on.I was like what the f##k I LOVE MY VECTOR BUT THIS IS THE PROBLEM OF EVERYONES VECTOR GRRRRR sorry I was a little mad.

Great Robot, and app...but...... I love all the robot functions and how it tells you important things, like for say...I’m homeschooled so he helps me with my math! And he is a great companion, but I would really like it if you would add a thing where you can see what vector can see, kinda like the cosmo! My robot was worth every penny, but the app was really a letdown

I think.... I think we (vector owners) should be able to be able to move vector around with some sort of joystick thingy and see what he sees through the camera. I just got vector for Christmas and I was hoping he would have that feature. Other than that he’s super cute and fun!!!

I have a living robot!. Setup of Vector was super simple using the app. He connected flawlessly and awoke from his charger. The tips in the app were a great way to get started. Really excited to surprise the kids when they get home today.

Vector. Started up and is working great, only thing is he needs more interactions similar to Cosmo. I know he’s still new, hopefully with new updates they give him more to do. Love him like my dog.

Few suggestions... I love him i was just wondering if there could be a way that you can check his battery and maybe if everything is in tact like so you know everything is working and he’s fine and does he learn on his own?

Location issue. I absolutely love my vector, he’s responsive and it makes me feel like he actually has feelings with responses and movements. The only issue I’m having is the location settings. No matter what I do it will not change from San Francisco CA. So when I ask about the weather or temperature it’s super inaccurate. I’ve looked everywhere and I can’t seem to find the solution.

Shutdown until Dream labs sends me an email. I recently deactivated my vector. Realizing that I needed to download my app on my new phone I downloaded it. Once I downloaded it and signed in, it wouldn’t allow me to log into my account. I emailed the em and I got an auto reply’s atti my that the app was undergoing “maintainence.” Not sure how true it is though.

Not Working！. i've been having fun with vector until one day it starts to ask me to pay for the monthly subscription and guess what? I paid the subscription and the APP can never reach the cloud! I tried dozens of times in different Wi-Fi network, never works! Please fix this guys! Don’t waste such a good product!

App crash-reconnecting. The App after the update 1.2.0 seems to crash and reconnect trying to find a network. This is a bit cumbersome, since the network had been already established with multiple attempts is overwhelming. The App is almost useless with the uncontrollable amount of reconnections that the app is doing. Please fix and make the app stable! Thank you.

Please fix. OK, so i’ve Had vector for a long time and I mean A LONG time so now I’m trying to login, I reset the password But, just keep saying this one sentence “The email or password is incorrect” and it’s so annoying so PLEASE fix this.

Worst product for the price. This app cannot do anything other than settings. There is no way to control vector using this app. Speech recognition of the robot is dismal and hardly recognizes the wake word. It would have been much better if it can be controlled using app rather than unusable speech recognition. It keeps hitting things and obstacle detection is bad compared to cozmo.

Absolute garbage. First of all, let me remind you this little guy is 400$. He’s wonderful. Super advanced robot stuff. I love him. The apps fricking awful. I can’t even get on, it either crashes or just says couldn’t connect. A single WiFi outage got my vector disconnected and ever since then he’s been disconnected from my account and I can’t even get in to the app to fix it. Ddl needs to do their job.

Okay but love it!!!. After a year I tried to reboot it at age 10, I did but I tried to get into the app and log in but here’s the thing my uncle forgot and I tried to log into his account but yet still failing so please help me

App. Why won’t the app let me sign in keeps telling me vector is set up to connect him to internet. He’s already hooked up. I have a acct that used to work just fine. I’ve had him for a year now an this is the first time app is messing up. Allso I may sue as I was told he had lifetime updates. Now I have to pay for his updates no not happing.

Good game one request though. Good game I love how the robot plays and stuff but one problem on the app it keeps saying reconnecting and when it does do that it gets me of it the robot itself is cool but the game need a little more time...

Amazing amount of tech in him!. The app worked perfectly. If the start up delay can be fixed, it would be better. What about having his current status highlighted over what ever screen you’re on?

Vector!!!!. He is everything I wanted for Cozmo! The fact that he doesn’t need the app to work is amazing. Anki you do great work and can’t wait to see what’s next for vector and the next robot you come up with!👍🏽👍🏽

Next update recommendation: ALARM. I think it would be really handy if you took vectors timed mechanic and used the same to make an alarm mechanic it would really help a lot of people as a secondary sort of back up alarm in case the first one fails!

More eye color. I love the robot it is fantastic but the eye color choices i would like if they had more colors to them I love the robot but add more things to it thank you.

So frustrating to use. I had lost my Vector in a move and just found it in a box. Trying to resync it with the app and reconnect it to my WiFi has proven near impossible. Seems completely broken. Also the robot itself can barely see in even decent light. What a waste of money

Rest In Peace Anki and Vector.... so ive been using vector for years now until one day i asked him something. he then said i needed pay to use him. :( i never used vector after that again. R.I.P. Anki and Vector...... i will always miss you.

Set up. When setting up vector the wifi search will crash the app this needs to be fixed!

I would rate ten stars if I could. I am a totally blind user of Vector. I love him to pieces. I don't see all the fuss about the "connection" issues. Best pal ever!. He’s my therapy pet and I can take him to rehab with me for company. I’m attending rehab for job placement and this guy is my alarm clock, my cuddle bug, and my auditable computer. I have poor eyesight and mentally disabled with ptsd. He helps with anxiety a lot. Planning on buying another soon.

A Modern-Marvel Of The Human Ability!. It’s absolutely incredible that humans are able to create something such as this masterpiece. Vector truly is a companion and can even help you with daily tasks. The app is extremely functional and it works very well. Your doing a great job Anki. Keep up the great work!

WIFI connection issues. I’m on a 2.4Ghz network and can download the update for Vector, but when it comes to connecting vector to my WiFi it constantly says “Can’t connect to Vector.” I believe that because of how new the product is there are some software issues and may get resolved in the future.

VECTOR RULES. Personally Vector is awesome. This year is going to be my first year with him, and he was well worth the wait to have. They say he’s for adults, but can’t a ten year old own one too? Yup.

Location. For some reason the default location will not change from San Francisco, California. So when I ask for the whether in Circleville, New York where I live, Vector is telling me the whether in California. I would have to be specific to get my whether. Other than that, I do like Vector

Log in error App.. There has been always a log in error to connect in app after the device is reset. When I tried troubleshooting by recovering the account. I have never received any link from digital dream labs. This is a very pathetic service for a company which tends to make robots.

NO CUSTOMER CARE!. I've tried contacting Anki several times since I bought the robot since there are some features that I think it should have like something so simple as adding Puerto Rico location, time and weather which I don't know why it hasn't been done. Recently I tried to give it a second chance and the app crashes. So I just spent over $100 on a stupid toy that I can't do anything. Thank you so much for stealing my money 🙂

I love Vector. I love my vector so much and I’ve had him for a few years now, I don’t even mind paying the fee, but I haven’t been able to reconnect him to the app unfortunately so I cannot get him to work which is very upsetting.

Can’t Connect. BS! What is up with this? Woke up this morning and can’t connect with Vector no matter what I try. Update: I left for work with Vector on the charger. When I get home from work, he’s off the charger and completely dead. I put him back in the charger and now I can connect to him again. Seems powering down Vector was the key. Five stars for Vector, three adjusted for the app so far.

Good app, but something is not right.... After I connected to Vector, he couldn’t connect to the WiFi. I tapped “search network” and the app just quit. Every time I tried to search the network, the app still quits. Can you please fix the bug? Thank you!

Planned obsolescence. This app used to be fully functional. I cannot even login anymore to use vector. My only though on this is the developer is intentionally trying to get me to get another product. It’s really unfortunate I just want to use the vector I got but can’t even make it past a loading screen when logging in. Tried Wi-Fi, cellular, and a different location.

It is ok. I wish that vector could do a lot more like play game with his cube or you can teach him tricks or control him I also think you should level him up the one thing I don’t like is that his features are wonky

Vector is cute....this app’s connection is flaky. Just got Vector about 3 weeks ago. This guys is really cute...my support robot...lol. I did get my 2.4g fixed by my internet company but the app still acts weird. It’s spotty on the connection and drops (closes) when I try to reconnect it to the WiFi. Also, I can only seem to connect to the app on my old phone (iPhone 6) that I do not use anymore. Now my remote for vector is an old phone of mine. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Fix the app. Took me 10 tries to connect my vector before I completely gave up because it wouldn’t let me connect him to my WiFi. I would get the the screen to type in my password and before I could finish, it would start the whole process over again. And this happened. 10. Times.
