Complete scam. Most pointless app in existence. First of all, you can do absolutely NOTHING with this app unless you pay 40 bucks and according to other commenters, there is NO WAY to cancel that yearly payment so good luck. Second - the scan quality that I was able to see in app was completely horrible. Third - it’s impossible to use and it doesn’t even give you basic features unless you pay WAY too much money. And finally, all those 5 star reviews? Absolute bots. I see the same comment like 20 times from different fake account and it’s all just to mislead you into thinking that there’s something useful whatsoever about this app but don’t be fooled because there is not. Hands down the worst app in existence, by FAR. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP. EVER.

No Issues Here. I have used the Scanner App for years now. I have been able to take care of important documents, store them and send where necessary because of this App!

cool. Have been using this for a month now and it has become my default app for document storage. I even end up scanning discount coupons and my regular mail to reduce paper clutter at home drastically. The interface is very user friendly and the enhancements around the ability to scan documents with multiple pages quickly is a welcome upgrade.

Very Clear Bright Scans. I use app this more than I ever thought I would. Having to send forms back and forth to school this app is a huge help. It takes such good clean photos(use flash to clear out any shadows if needed) and it looks as if you used an actual real scanner.

Won’t let me cancel my subscription. I did this to try the free trial thinking I don’t need this all the time but if it is good I’ll pay for it whenever I need it. Well, it’s impossible for me to unsubscribe from the app. It won’t let me do it. When I email the email to cancel nobody responded. I got charged money I did not want to spend. I still haven’t heard back on how to cancel and got charged. Let’s see how many weeks they will charge me. Feels like a scam!

This is... Amazing?. I had no purpose to get this, I just somehow came across it and like.. I jokingly took a picture of my Shrek Wet wipes, and it worked? The organization of this app is amazing. I don’t need to store documents, but I will use this to store some other important things. 10/10 My only recommendation -it doesn’t change my rating. I can live if it isn’t fixed, but I’d like it to be- I have an issue with it being sorted by minute. The documents won’t be together. Maybe some people like it, so you can have an option to sort by minute, but that really isn’t my thing. All the documents I take pictures of within 5 minutes will be separate.

Do not trust. This may appear to be a free app but they will 100% take your $10 no matter what. What they put in the fine print is you must cancel 24 hrs before the expiration date so on a 3 day free trial they don’t tell you it’s a real, then the name of the app and all the info to complain is extremely hard to find because the name that appears on the recipes and the app are just slightly different intended to cause confusion predatory and greedy do not trust !!

Clutch. This app has changed my professional life. I’m constantly on the move and this app has made scanning things on the go 100% seamless. Certainly worth it.

it's nice. I had to fax some legal sized documents to my bank account and could not scan them on my small printer, downloaded this app and sent the pages in just a few minutes

Nice scanner. Kind of annoying that they call it a PDF scanner and you can’t make it a PDF without a paid membership. When I tried to export it, it told me I was paying 3.99 a month or I was just stuck with a picture. The scans are good quality though, and it works well as long as a picture is all you need, or if you’re willing to pay the file type ransom.

simple & easy to use. Honestly I only used the free trial (barely ever need to convert a document into a PDF) and it took me less than 3 minutes to convert my document. Other apps were either harder to use or distorted the documents. I would def use this app more often

Trial. I downloaded this app to see if it would work for what I need. I did a three day trial and tried canceling three different times within those three days. I have all the emails to prove it. I am not able to cancel my subscription and I just noticed today are still not canceling it even after my three email request to cancel it. I do not see an option on my app to cancel the subscription. I will move forward with other methods if needed. Cancel my subscription.

👍. I've been using this app for over 1 year without a single problem. Very easy to use and definitely recommended for anyone who is on the go and need a way to scan and share a document with co-workers

Don’t get this app Recurring charges. I got this app thinking if I could try it out and if I don’t want to spend money then I won’t make any in app purchases. I was wrong. This app will lock you into recurring charges and does not give you anyway to get out. I They say you can cancel by contacting app support but give means to contact. My only recourse will be to cancel my credit card in order to stop these monthly charges for an app I don’t want. So unless you want the headache of canceling a card and all that goes with it look for a free scanning app instead.

like it. I like that you can take pictures, crop the part you want, and create a pdf file with it. What I love is that you can do a batch of pictures, go back and add more to the docs, or simply retake a photo! Great app so much faster than scanning on my scanner.

Seriously, get it.. This scanner app paid for itself in a single day. It has really great scanning abilities that have allowed me to more easily complete my college degree in Education and to begin working on an online business.

Cancel trial period. You can’t cancel your trial period on the app but if you Scroll down (on App Store)for the app’s information to “report a problem” amen it brings you to the support website click on request a refund and then didn’t mean to sign up for subscriptions and it should bring you to your subscriptions page and you can cancel it there before trial is up

In App Purchase Required: Not Free. You should add in app purchase required on App Store . I have been using free for like 2 years, now it is requiring a payment to use. So just know it is an in app purchase. I just can’t pay 40 bucks or 7 dollars a month for an app I use like once every 3 months. I guess will be looking for another .

TOTAL SCAM. Ok yes the app did what it was supposed to. I signed up for the free trial and of course it takes all of your payment info. From that point, there is absolutely NO conceivable way to deactivate/unsubscribe to this service. I have sent six emails through the app requesting support and not a thing has changed. I am a busy single mom with limited to figure out how to cancel this subscription and keep my $6 a month. DEEPLY frustrated.

NOT FREE. Edit: For the AppStore review moderators, this app has hundreds of fake reviews. It’s so obvious. Please fix this. This app is not good at all. Scanning is set to “auto” by default which means it will continuously take pictures of the same document over and over again. Then you go to look at the scan and again, by default, it’s set to use a random filter?! You have to manually switch it from “color” to “photo” (whatever the heck that means). Finally when you’re ready to save everything, you click export and it throws up the paywall. So much for the AppStore listing of “Free mobile scanning”. Immediately deleting this app. Go get the more official ones from Google and Microsoft.

After paying 4.99, youu get 3 “Free” days. If you don’t pay them a minimum of $4.99, you can do anything with the scans. You can’t email the, you can’t print them unless you pay. So this “Free” app is worthless unless you pay; therefore, it’s not free but it is a scam to get your money. BTW, you can create PDFs free from iPhone “Files” app just by holding finger on picture until menu pops up and gives you the option to save as a PDF. So to recap: this Scanner program is worthless unless you pay and not needed in the first place.

Really Works. This came in a clinch as my scanner did not want to attach to my laptop and then I scanned it with my iPhone notes and it said it was too large to send in an email. Found this app and saved me time. Thank you so much for this app!!

SCAM. The app is a scam it’s advertising and $.99 trial, which it does charge right before it immediately charges you another $32. I purchased the trial to make one PDF and cancel it and I was charged $35 .beware , apple is allowing this scam. It’s only been one hour since I downloaded and I’ve already been charged $35 and it’s not allowing me to cancel. No big deal. It’s being reported as fraud to my bank tomorrow.

Bad Quality. Scanned quality is very blurry and bad. The scanner had a hard time finding and framing my document (which is just a regular white paper letter size workbook). It took me 10 minutes just to capture 6 pages. And could not do anything else, for example exporting the file unless you upgraded to a paid subscription. Not recommend it, there are better scanning app out there.

really good. Regconizes text from images incredibly well. Have tried on different types of images with text with standard fonts and this app has always worked so far!

Sad it costs money now. I’ve been using this app for years for lots of school work in college. I have so many documents saved here. It’s worked wonderfully. I upgraded my phone from an iPhone 8 to an iPhone 12 and it was having issues fitting my screen. So I updated the app and now I have to pay to continue to export my documents. I’m heartbroken. I’m way to broke to pay this amount. It’s been such a great app but I’m gonna start searching for a new one that is free or doesn’t cost so much.

Crazy EASY!!!!. Wow I cannot stress enough about how much this scanner has saved my tail in some last minute emergency situations so that I didn’t have to make the detour to the office or the library to use the scanner there and I was able to choose weather I wanted it to be a JPG. or a PGF. file. I would recommend this app to just about everyone!

Very easy to use. I needed a good scanning app to scan my paperbased coursework in case it got lost in the post and I needed an app because I have no access to a scanner. I found this app and I was surprised at how easy it is and how much it looks like you've just put your documents on a actual scanner.

Best scan app!. I love this scan app. It is as easy as taking a picture and converts quickly to PDF or JPEG. You can email it right from the app. So much easier than dealing with a scanner.

So fast and easy to use. I literally only needed this to make one picture into a pdf for something important I had to send and I searched on google for how to make a picture into a pdf and the first thing that popped up was this ad for this app so I downloaded and it was so fast and so easy to use I just had to open and click the picture I wanted to make into pdf form and it took me less then 2 minutes to do and I got my pdf and was able to send that in and I don’t really need the app except for that one reason but if you’re someone who needs different forms of pictures turned into pdf form I would definitely download this app because it is completely with it !!!

💾. The best one in the category, really works how the description say it does. Wish I had found it sooner, it would have saved me a lot of time downloading similar apps that never worked quite well for me.

A complete waste of my time. This app is free to download but in order for you to use its service it demands a subscription. I downloaded it thinking it was a free app, if the apps and all of those like it are upfront about its subscription service requirement from the gecko I would of not downloaded it in the first place and would of found something else, now I have to re do this whole thing again.

Saved my graduate admissions!. I needed to replace my transcript document on my graduate application. I was scrambling because I needed to do it without encryption and I didn’t know how! So I went on Google and this is the first app that appears. I save my official transcripts to get scanned and voila it uploads perfect. It’s 12:44 a.m. and I’m so relieved lol. This truly saved me!!

Best app ,recommend. I've taken pictures of old albums that I wanted to preserve with some other apps, but the results were bad to say the least. With Scanner App the difference has been remarkable!

john. It does what it's expected to do. The only (little) problem I have got with it is that you can't share to third party apps without a pro account. But it is still possible save the document and send per email. That's sufficient for me ?

Charged me $6 per week. I download this app months ago for work as I needed a free scanner for documents. Just found out it had been charging me $6 per WEEK for months. I have no memory of signing up for a subscription or premium features. Very upsetting to see that $6 a week went to an app I used maybe once a month :-( simply mistook the charge on my bank as my Apple Music subscription.

Fine.. I had no problems using the scanner. I had to submit an important document for a scholarship and it worked. However, for the number of scans I needed as a single document I had to get the Scanner Pro. And now, there’s no way to cancel it. And I’ve reached out to support multiple times and have not received a single response. Now I’ll have to cancel my card in order to not be charged again.

Worse scanner app I’ve used.. I have used several Scanner apps throughout the years for various things when I would need it and this is by far the worst I have ever used to get a document to even scan right is such a process that if you want to scan more than one you’re looking at an hour to even get that file as their app is horrible at detecting the document, it just keeps telling you move my phone, more rectangle? I have tried on multiple surfaces in perfect lighting. It just takes too long. I don’t have time there are a lot better options for scanner apps.

Fantastic scanner. Head of all the apps I’ve used this is one of the better scanners I’ve used on the apps on the Internet Apple has come through throughout the years on their apps the scanner has probably done it’s past the improvements are far and few there are still a few more change that should be ironed out but it’s a lot better than what it was a few years ago and I give it a five star rating and I would recommend it to many many more people do use. It is my recommendation to be used permanently. Thank you.

Great app. I don’t normally leave reviews, but this app deserves it. This was extremely fast, easy to use, and great quality, and convenient export. And it does multi page scans, which my home printer/scanner doesn’t. I do recommend!

Changed for the app but didn’t even use the thing.. I don’t recall signing up for the premium features and have been getting charged. I never used the app because it didn’t work! Now I discovered the charge but can’t get my money back. Just skip to the next app in the list

Will not allow you to put docs in order easily. Every time I’m trying to put documents in the order I uploaded it in it will mix all of them up. If I tried to sort them it would take me hours maybe days

Love It, but Pricing Could Be Better. Pricing needs to be better, its a weekly charge, and no affordable rates for low income which is discrimination. Promoted as free, but need to pay. On the App Store, it says if there are in app purchases within the app. There is nothing there for this app. When you start to scan files, it will ask what format you want and then ask you to pay. Pretty sure that isn’t allowed. Don’t bother, all you can do is scan but can’t do anything with regards to exporting.

I'm a big fan of this app. What a good app that keeps me satisfied for a long time! All its features are easy to use and you won't use your computer to get your job done anymore!

Scam. Started charging me just to see if it would do what I needed, it didn’t but now there is no way to cancel, it started charging me and I cannot stop it on my phone where my randomized passwords are stored. Have to go to their website but cannot log in. I have emailed customer support three times over the past 2 weeks and they have not responded. Complete scam

This is perfect!. I totally love this app super convenient. Easy to access your documents or upload and I saved money I don’t have to buy a scanner.

PDF Scanner review. I don’t have to create a PDF much, but it’s nice to know that this APP is available. This is a first time use, the jury is still out on how useful this APP is. So far so good.

You have to pay for it when I need just one thing. It’s a good app but I just needed something to change my photo to a pdf and I have to pay for it. Ik I sound rude but I wanted something easy and quick I’m not no professional I just needed a pdf.

Quality PDF Scanning App. This is one of the best PDF scanning apps on the App Store right now. It is able to efficiently read and scan documents It really is a quality and must have scanner!

Efficient. I’ve been scanning in journals from my preteen and teenage years and this app has come in handy. It’s quick efficient and easy.

So great for receipts!. I’ve tried a lot of these phone scanner apps, but this one is by far the best. Plus, being FREE with no trial or subscription hidden in there is incredible. Thanks for an app that actually makes my life easier.

Seriously, get it.. This scanner app paid for itself in a single day. It has really great scanning abilities that have allowed me to more easily complete my college degree in Education and to begin working on an online business.

Best app ,recommend. I've taken pictures of old albums that I wanted to preserve with some other apps, but the results were bad to say the least. With Scanner App the difference has been remarkable!

Clutch. This app has changed my professional life. I’m constantly on the move and this app has made scanning things on the go 100% seamless. Certainly worth it.

TOTAL SCAM. Ok yes the app did what it was supposed to. I signed up for the free trial and of course it takes all of your payment info. From that point, there is absolutely NO conceivable way to deactivate/unsubscribe to this service. I have sent six emails through the app requesting support and not a thing has changed. I am a busy single mom with limited to figure out how to cancel this subscription and keep my $6 a month. DEEPLY frustrated.

Horrible customer service. I’ve been trying to get in touch with customer service for weeks and haven’t heard back. The app is great but offers the user no way to manage their account or turn of subscriptions. Would NOT recommend unless you want to get billed for a subscription you’ve been trying to cancel for weeks!

Not a cheap app to use but overall works well. I don’t like having to be charged $4.99/ weekly. But I do like the app. It’s user friendly
