I STILL LOVE IT…MONTHS(**now over a year)LATER!!. This game is a fun word puzzle and grammar game! It has been my favorite since I first started playing 🤩 ***Update!!! Many months later and this is still my favorite. Unlike some other Word Games this one just keeps getting better. The higher the levels, the tougher they seem to get. Spinning the bonus wheel actually is worth the time spent watching the ads The grammar challenges are great too; I’m always surprised when I get one wrong! This is always one of my “Go To” games. The extras that you can play, like Bingo, Wheel of Luck, Grammar Challenges, and Trivia make the game more interesting than just a word game.

Trivia falsehoods. This game is fun and great for wordsmiths but I think the person who does the trivia needs to make a couple of corrections. For example, water is not an element: it’s a compound. It’s comprised of the two elements, hydrogen and oxygen and those are NOT the most abundant element in the air or rather, atmosphere. That would be nitrogen. Another incorrect trivia answer to the question that asks what plant has neither leaves nor roots says “fungus.” Fungus isn’t in the plant kingdom! It has it’s own kingdom which is the fungus kingdom. Lastly, many of the grammar questions are really about spelling and not about grammar. It’s bad enough that social media is full of falsehoods and education seems to be on the decline without a game that is great for teaching spelling and vocabulary doesn’t really seem to know what grammar is and gives false information. I really enjoy this game and aside from the above mentioned items, it’s great for brain exercise. Four stars because most of the trivia is correct and some of the grammar challenges as well.

Grows on you. Social features are glaringly missing. While there is an ability to “friend” certain players, a friend button only activates for certain players. I have never been asked to play a game and none of my invitations to “friends” have been accepted. There is no chat function. When I do get matched with another player in multiplayer mode, I question whether it is a bot. When I find a really good player who can challenge me, I would like to play again. Not possible here. Another problem is the bonus events which tend to be repetitive. There is a trivia event which I really liked — the first time. Every time since, I realize that the majority of the questions are repeated. Having said all of this, I really do like the game. The simple design and extra game features are fun. I love that there is no timer. It is a stress-free way to relax and use my brain. The game has a huge edge over similar games which add boosts and power-ups thereby making the games more about buying features than testing one’s ability. This game keeps it simple and I like that a lot. Good interface too.

Ads with a bit of gaming and crashing. Game could be fun for a bit of time before the constant ads and random crashing and exiting out of the game makes you want to pull your hair out. The ad placement is repetitive, inappropriate, and overwhelming. When trying to compete in crossword against other app users the app decides right before the match starts to pull up an ad that you cannot exit unless you close the app, thus guaranteeing a loss against your opponent. The excuse of “advertising allows the game to be free” was permissible several years ago when apps knew how to space them out appropriately. When you have an ad upon opening the word search app, after every level, between extra ads, and to earn more coins, it’s now become more ads then games. If they toned it down with the stupid commercials for gardenscape and homescape and fishscape and whatever other scape and worked on their issues with the regular crashing this could be a lasting game. If it stays as it is I give it a rating of 2 stars for the 2 weeks I’ll tolerate the game before deleting it permanently.

Expensive Addiction. The game is fantastic! I have two major problems with it. One: it introduces you to hints & ways to earn extra coins & such, & then if you want to use perks like that later, there is a pretty hefty charge for them. Another is the background images. There are a lot of water images. They are beautiful. And I feel stupid saying anything, but water sort of terrifies me. So, I get a lot or anxiety when I play the game. If it were entirely free, or the cost were not so expensive, I would like it much more. Also, some of the words are just ridiculous. Even if they are real words, there are many that simply aren’t used in practice, even by fancy folks. But more than anything else, I’d like to be able to choose my background. If I could choose the background, this would be a 4 star app. If I could choose my background, & didn’t have to pay so much for the fireflies, it would be a 5 star app.

Great addition - seasonal graphics!. Please fix the “Money Earned” issue! Everything else is great. If the above is EVER addressed and fixed, I’d rate this as a 5-star game. This game is creative and fun with lots of challenges and various goals to reach. While I previously rated it as 5 stars, I’ve noticed how $1,000 of coins I’ve earned have magically “disappeared” throughout each day! After investing my time and efforts into winning challenges, this is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE!! Wonderful game. If the issues are ever addressed to allow players to “keep” earned money, I’d rate this game at 5 stars all the way. Nothing has changed since my last review to address this situation. That is a shame for such a fantastic gaming platform. I have a Master’s degree and this game would be considered excellent by a wide cross-section of players if the above issue about keeping earned money was ever addressed.

A fun challenge. I downgraded my rating because of the stupid tile rewards. This game is much more fun than a standard crossword and the prizes were generous. Now, most of the prize money involves one of the tiles. Please, stop. It’s just irritating. The competition games are pretty standard. It takes a lot of words that can’t be used in other similar games. However, there are some weird exclusions. Common words - like chia, argon and eros - are excluded even though they are permitted in other similar games. Sometimes the updates are undependable in the scoring. For example, in the daily games it sometimes takes playing 8 or 9 games for the “6/6 games completed” to register. Same with watching videos. It just doesn’t recognize a completed task right away. Love the other games played within the platform - trivia, bingo, adventures. Nice variety. Worth the play time.

Pretty good. I like the game. It’s pretty good. However, on the add it showed a word quiz. I wanted the quiz and not the word. I find it a little unfair, but I still like it. It’s also challenging which I kind of like in games. There’s so many adds though. Another thing I find annoying is that when you go back in a level that you passed, it’s shows no work or words. I even doubt that the “no adds” thing works. I found out that it takes forever to get stars to save an animal. I find the game a little annoying but it is kind of fun and challenging. I hope you find this review helpful if you want to try out the game. Also, if the creator sees this, then please fix the bugs in the game. Thanks for reading my review!

WT HECK.. Just got this a couple of days ago when a friend suggested it after I mentioned I was becoming bored with another similar game. I enjoyed playing this one for a couple of days until suddenly the ads became waaay too frequent. But then last night the whole game got weird, then unplayable. Literally. Some really stupid song clips (that idiot Bieber and some Gang I’ve never heard of) kept popping up, but you have to endure them for several seconds before you can hit the stop button. I thought that was bad enough, but then a Word Life cartoon screen appeared with the repeating words, “Relax and enjoy the game…”. Over and over with no way to escape. This morning, I rebooted my iPad, opened Word Life and it immediately went to the same screen. Grr. I deleted the game, d-loaded it again. Same thing. I quit. Too bad, too, because I was enjoying it.

My rating would have been lower if not for the most recent update.. I love this game. It’s a great way to pass the time. I love the grammar challenges. But MY GOD the constant ads were unbearable, so much so that tonight I was on my way to the App Store to delete the app and leave a bad review here. I’ve never left a review on anything. Then, I saw that your most recent update fixed the ad problem. And when I say “problem”……it was a problem. I know you need revenue to continue to operate. I worked in advertising for many years. But the frequency, length, and timing of your ads were the worst I have ever seen in a free game. At least one long ad per minute, then it was a fight to get the ad off my phone screen once it was over because the icon is too small (that’s still an issue after the update). Having a word game interrupted by ads every 15-20 seconds does nothing but frustrate and infuriate users of this app. 4 stars for a good game and a good update.

Not perfect. Since I updated the OS on my iPad to 13.5, I am unable to return to the game after viewing the tournament standings. The return arrow doesn’t work. I need to shut down my iPad and restart it. It’s a real nuisance. Recently (October 30 - November 1) each time I open the game it tells me to collect points for winning past tournaments, sometimes for the same one. I don’t believe that I neglected to collect for any tournament I played. During the current tournament the players listed with me on the standings keep changing. Sometimes the players after me have fewer points than players who were listed just after me hours before. Something strange is going on with the game. I have been playing less because it is boring. I have so many points that it isn’t motivating. I do like playing on Bingo days, but don’t like to have to watch videos between rounds to continue playing.

Ads crash. Used to love this game but certain ads keep popping up that will not close and are questionable such as weight loss ads. So annoying to try for a reward and have a poorly done ad not close and it just drags the game out. Will look for another word game. Also annoying is the fast food ads that get stuck. Also very annoying, the Keto ad for weight loss won’t close out and automatically sends to a web page, not cool. Must have cookies imbedded . I will have to find another game to play. Not worth the rewards either. This game no longer works on my IPad, the Chik fil a advertisement freezes along with the Trim Life Keto diet pills ads, can never even hit the button to double rewards because the game will infuriatingly freeze up, every single time. Also do not like the Tile rewards, they are worthless and add no value to the game. Ads are still crashing and will not close, need to find another game to play. Also the little sound horn that plays Grainger annoying ads just when you are trying to think, then do not receive the supposed bee award.

Tiles. I absolutely love playing Word Life. The only thing that bothers me is I have no idea what to do with the tiles I keep winning. Whenever they come up as a reward I just ignore them. I can’t find anything that tells me what they are for. I guess I could care less about changing things up on the playing board, otherwise great game. I don’t know what is happening with my used to be favorite game. There are no videos to view half the time. It freezes up so it makes it impossible to claim points. I at first thought it was my phone, but after checking other games it isn’t. Sorry to be so negative, but after you’ve made so many changes, nothing seems to work well anymore. Why did you lower points so much for bingo? Just curious.

Pretty good game.. New comment: do not like the new BINGO set up. Waste of time in a tournament to play because winners are much less frequent, even after throwing extra points in. I mostly elect, or will elect, to ignore the notifications to spin. This is a pretty good game, but I’m not keen on the piggy bank that I “won” but have to pay for. And the prices for any of the packages, should you want them, is way out of line. Coupled with the fact that the ads are often hard to close out, it can be annoying. Kind of feel you should pick one or the other… Annoy me with ads, or give me a reasonably priced package that will allow meTo avoid the ads. Can you change how the extra words reward is shown. Popping into the puzzle every 20 words is distracting. Also, there are a number of words that you allow sometimes but buzz out in others. I had an example, but it’s too early in the morning to recall it. But it’s been at least three different words.

Ads Ruin It. Let me first say that I don’t have a credit card or other means of online pay. Thus, buying out of ads is not possible. Thanks for asking, but I much, MUCH prefer to live this way. That said, I find it ridiculous that after every round, I’m trying to click through 3, 4, 5 and now 6 pages of ads, with the tiniest, most obscure click outs. If you don’t hit it just exactly, you end up at the App Store, and sometimes you end up right back at page 1 of the ad when you finally get back. I get it. Ads help pay for the costs of developing and maintaining the game. 1 or 2 page ads were annoying enough, but you got through them quickly, and they only popped up after every three or four rounds. Now, however, it’s no longer a fun game, it’s a bunch of ads interrupted briefly by game play.

Find words. It is a fun game finding words. Yes it is. When playing an opponent on a rematch it goes to an advertisement and by the time the advertising is over, the one you are playing has already found words because it hasn’t got back in time. It is frustrating! Still love the game!! Some computer glitches on the daily spinning. Some times no videos to watch to get it to spin. I got. 1000 points and it never added to the spin I had. It is a fun game but at times with the glitches it can be a little frustrating. I need to be re syncing all the time since the newest update. It also stalls with letters going into the correct spots. I enjoy the game but can be frustrating. This is my second review. I enjoy the game but get frustrated when spinning. It spins okay sometimes but other times the screen goes black. Then I get the game gone and have to go back in again and then I can spin. The advertisement usually will come up to get my spin. Also playing the game it will pause when I am playing and have to wait before it clears to start my word again. Also I watch an advertisement to spin and the advertisement is over and doesn’t spin. These are my concerns.

Long long ads. I know you have to have ads. But, do you have to continually use the same long ads to spin wheel? You get one to spin, that’s a minute, one to double, that’s a minute, one to collect prize, another minute. So in order to collect I’ve had to watch the same ad over and over for 3 minutes for one reward. I don’t mind the short ones but come on… do you think folks are really going to watch those long ads over and over? If you must show them repeatedly, can you change them up some? I enjoy the game, but as I said before the collection of tiles is so silly. For those that like them, great, but for those that don’t use them or consider them a waste, can you make it an option to use or collect them? Please do something about the same long long ads during wheel rewards. Thank you

Great game. I thought this game would be all grammar, but it has a word game along with the grammar questions. I found that although I like the grammar being broken up with the word game there is hardly any grammar. Also, I’ve hit some of the buttons to buy a letter or letters by accident and ended up buying a letter that I never wanted or needed. It would be nice if the was a pop up message that asked if I wanted to buy the letter like other games have. The biggest problem that I have with the game is when I spin the wheel for additional points or helps it will say that the video is not available. This is an everyday occurrence and it’s frustrating.

Word life.. Word Life is thoroughly engaging. The puzzles are challenging and occasionally quite clever at creating ironic humor. The weekend tournaments have become a regular part of my routine. At 74, I’m thankful for the mental exercise. As a retired English teacher, I’m impressed with the wide-ranging vocabulary. Highly recommended. Today I don’t have anything positive to say. It’s cruel to present a woman my age with white letters on white backgrounds. I’ve tried settings but I can’t get to the list of options again. Moreover, there isn’t any guidance for the side bar game. I can’t play either the regular or the side bar games right now. Too bad; so sad. Fortunately I’ve had years of pleasure in the past. There are plenty of other good games, but I’ll miss Word Life.

Addictive but.... I’m a wordy and this is one of my favorite word puzzles but there’s still room for improvement. Once you reach levels >1000, the randomly selected puzzles seem less random and repeat sometimes, even consecutively, which should be easy to fix (edit algorithm). I also wish the app would include the total number of possible words for each puzzle (including the extra words that were not selected for the puzzle), which would allow users to decide if they want to keep searching for new words vs. completing the puzzle and moving on to the next one. Last, the prize wheel spins are rigged so you cannot manually stop the wheel on the top prizes (1000 points, 8 tips, etc.). Most of the time if a user lets it come to a natural stop, the wheel lands on a lesser prize (usually 25 points). So the spins are definitely not random. I also enjoy the user competitions that are introduced every few days.

Really good game is fun because I like to feed the cat will be fun for me because cats my favorite animal so I give it a five star review and it’s not good it’s perfect I just don’t know how to spell perfect because I’m doing voice right now Grace what do you think of the game? One of my faves. Update 2022: THANK YOU for removing the bonus word reward to after the round, not during. Soooo much happier and better for flow. I had actually stopped playing, but now I’m back, and changing my 4⭐️ to ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Love this game. Orig 2021: As someone who loves to find words, this game is great fun and I play it nearly every day. I enjoy the tournaments best, as that’s when making lots of words actually matters. If I were to give any feedback about what frustrates me the most in gameplay, it’s the bonus coins gift box 🎁 that pops up every 25 words. Nooooooooo! Please make that stop. Sure, it’s nice being rewarded for making lots of words, but not when it’s constantly interrupting gameplay. Can you make that something you pick up on the home page in between games? Or if that’s not an option, maybe make it only every 100 words (at least cut down my frustration) with a bigger prize...maybe helpers instead of coins, since, heaven knows I don’t need any more coins. And speaking of, it’s nice that there’s SOMETHING to spend my coins on, but there’s not much in the “store.” Would love to see more. What else can I DO with all that 💰? But overall, really enjoy this game and would change my rating to 5 stars ⭐️ if the “every 25” 🎁 issue were fixed.

Word Life. Great fun game. However, there needs to be improvements in a few areas. The words found by player but are not in puzzle have a very annoying indicator sound. The reward collection for bonus words pauses the game interrupting my concentration and the prize of 20 coins is minuscule. The ads for spinning the wheel often have disappearing Xs to close them out result in having to close out the app and lose the reward earned. The ads have also gotten way too long. 10 second ads should be the max and they should end automatically. I haven’t used this method to gain spin the wheel rewards for hints since. Once the coins and hints accumulated in the past before these issues surfaced run out it will be the end of the line. I will delete the app and discontinue play at that point.

Engaging word game. I’ve been playing this word game for a few months and plan to continue. It offers many free incentives for playing tournaments every week or completing daily challenges. The tournaments are frequently changed based on seasonal holidays so players don’t get bored. Incentives include coins that can be used to buy single letter hints, avatars to change your image, letter tile designs that are based on seasonal holiday themes. The game designers thought of many ways to keep the players engaged with the game. Players can purchase free ad-free times if desired, but you can also watch the ads for letter hints. I highly recommend this game for the word enthusiast!

I NEED TO FEEL CHALLENGED, PLEASE!. These word puzzles keep me relatively sane while lying in a hospital bed for the past… oh, let et’s see. What’s today’s date? THE PAST SIX YEARS! I need, desperately to keep whichever parts I can exercise, limber and staccato sharp. This cannot be achieved if the word game keeps feeding me unsolicited clues. I should be able to decline help by clicking a “Thanks, But No Thanks” button. Instead, I have been averting my gaze and stealing only lightning fast glances at my phone, emitting staccato slurs at the screen for daring assume I couldn’t decipher the handful of short words I could’ve figured out when I was still in third grade! It’s insulting, boring, and my brain’s beginning to wish I’d held on to my Archie comic books I’m holding this game responsible. Let my head be on your head, basically.

Great game. During this pandemic I find comfort in completing each puzzle. Although at times I get stuck on words, it feels good to face such challenges. I look forward to continue because it’s now a part of my daily activities. I am still stuck at home and look forward to playing this game. It is very challenging at times and it helps when I discover new words or figure out words I already know. I try to solve a few puzzles daily. I enjoy this game immensely. This game has enriched my vocabulary tremendously. It challenges me to use various strategies to get the words needed to solve the puzzles. Even today, I find comfort when I play. I continue to face challenges to figure out the words and I feel a sense of achievement when I complete each puzzle.

I would put five stars but ..... I really enjoy this game. It’s a lot of fun, and it’s incredibly challenging. But I hate the daily spins. I understand that there is low possibilities of getting the more elite items. But when I finally do happen to get either the eight lightbulbs or the 1,000 coins, my opportunity to double that prize is immediately taken away from me every single time. My father plays this game, he was the one that got me interested in it in the first place. And he constantly has the same issues, but his get worse. On the off chance that he does get the chance to double the prize, he’ll click the button, and it merely shows a wheel turning and turning and then the game will lock up and he’ll not only lose the chance to double, he’ll also lose that spin completely, and doesn’t get a prize. And now there’s new things. The daily spin is completely out of control. For the past two weeks, it has been that the chance to double your prizes is gone. When contacted, the game tells me that the doubling ability is saved for only special events. And yet, it comes back within 24 hours and you can double things again.

Rustyjones. I have to admit that I’m puzzled by the “grammar challenges “ offered during the game. You would think that the sentences given in this challenge would be grammatically correct! Not so: case in point- “It was a good job he was wearing his life jacket; he might have _______” (looking for drowned as the answer). Who ever heard of saying it that way? Another point: why do you allow advertising that is so repetitive? The ads which feature certain products are a series of the same ten second ad played five times, with the exact same words or music. One cannot get out of the loop if they want the reward offered at the time. That is extremely annoying! I have begun closing my eyes, counting ten seconds, and hitting “next” after each run of the ad. I certainly won’t purchase any of those products! Please get other advertising methods.

Feedback re wordlife. Great game couple suggestions to make it better- There should be more Trivia questions and chances to spin the Premium wheel!!! There should be an easier way to look up meanings of all bonus words vs scrolling through all of them to reach the word (so if you’re looking for meaning of 44 and 56th word you have to keep scrolling thru each word. 2. When we earn the 20 points after making 25 bonus words it should automatically post of account vs a pop up asking us to collect the points- the pop up is very distracting if you’re trying to quickly make the words 3. There should be more grammar games vs at end of 20-30 puzzles. Thanks

Could be a good mind worker. As usual with all word games they start off fairly easy but then become increasingly more difficult. That’s great and what I signed up for however challenge increase turns into weird. To clarify as you progress to higher levels you start getting words that aren’t found in the dictionary. Because of this I went out and got the latest and greatest dictionary for nothing because the words were not to be found. A problem experienced from the start is many times it won’t accept the correct word. This of course ends up being your last word to complete. This now puts you at the end of the road so as a last resort I try the correct word again and it takes it. That’s what I mean by weird which takes on frustration leaving me contemplating on flushing the app. The last thorn in my buttocks is that stupid pig. Paying to release coins you already earned is not my gig. In summary this is what I mean by “could be a good game” because these problems appear to be correctable and I suspect intentional. Henceforth, I’m forced to search for a word game without all the stupidity and BS. Let’s see here where is the delete button.......

Changes not for the better. When I first began playing this app the rewards were much higher. The odds have definitely dropped to where it lands on the lowest reward more than 75% of the time. When it does land on hints or the lightning bolt it rarely carries over to the next round. Once it lands on hints and you have doubled the hints it will freeze the reward so you can never increase it beyond 6. That freeze will last through the next 2 rounds of 8 spins. Even the bonus wheel has gotten stingy. There have been times when I had 6-10 accumulated spins and it either landed on the lowest reward or a puzzle piece worth 5 points EVERY time. Since nothing doubles on the bonus spins you really don’t gain much more than regular rounds. Bonus wheel did not originally have ads between each spin. You have already watched multiple adds to earn those bonus spins. Once I use up the points I have accumulated I will be deleting this app.

Fun & Addicting!!! So cliché lol…. So cliché to say about a game but it is So addicting!!! I got the game based on an ad to see if my grammar is as good as I think it is- I was so mad at first to see that it’s not even a grammar game, there aren’t many grammar levels at all. But now I’m addicted to it anyway lol.. I even paid to get rid of the ads that were just getting too annoying & slowing my progress, which I wouldn’t normally bother doing.. My only complaint is I do wish there were more avatars. The tiles are great but more avatars would be even better.. I’ve seen that other users have different ones so maybe it’s just that it takes foreverrr to get to levels to win them. But all in all- Great ‘word game’!!! 🧠💪😄😄😄

Word life. I have the sounds off but yet it still played a very loud advertisement. So that’s annoying if you can’t trust it will be quiet when you’re somewhere you can’t have noise. I also think the sliding of the letters is not as easy as most games. It won’t grab them or it drops them. This is not as good as Word Crossy and I have not played it for very long but so far I like it. I like it because it gives you a lot of motivation to keep playing it unlike Wordscapes that annoys me with getting one or two points per game and then bogging you down with some puzzles that won’t accept words with only three letters. So I give it a four right now. That could go up or down the more I play it.

Redundant. On the “Spin the Wheel” part I repeatedly get $25. I got 1000 only one time, so NO it ISN’T random.I believe the game uses the same groups of letters/words repeatedly. And, there are acceptable words that the game does not have. There is a method to add words but it us not user friendly, too many steps. Better to have a touch icon to add word and definition on the playing screen. That takes you to an entry screen then 1 touch back to playing screen. Tournaments can be won by guests without having a profile. I believe tournaments should be guests or profiled not combined in the same tournament. I like that the trivia game now will give answers if you are wrong. I like the different tile backgrounds you can select to see the words/letters easier. I like that the playing screen back ground changes and that there are easy puzzles interspersed with harder puzzles. Also, if there is a word on the bottom row of the puzzle your proposed spelling blocks that row from sight. Move the proposed word down; there is plenty of room at the bottom of the screen.

Ecoz. This word game is challenging, especially at the upper levels. Competitive games make it interesting. More rewards are given than in other word games I’ve played. You can purchase hints, but I’ve never purchased any. There are always enough points there to get a few hints when you need them, when your brain zones out!! Lately there have been people entering the game who appear to have bought all their words. Their scores are unachievable by playing the game normally, using your intellect to solve the puzzle. It’s discouraging for folks who actually think and play.

Good word game. An enjoyable word game that gets more difficult as you complete higher levels. Some of the words are obscure and more difficult than they should be. Some explanation of the piggy bank is needed. It appears that you earn coins for the bank and that you must purchase the coins that you earned. That doesn’t make any sense to me. Also, you need to relocate the icons from the lower right hand corner. It is easy to touch one of the icons several times when you really didn’t mean to touch the hint or other helping icon. Finally, and perhaps the most bothersome issue is words that are spelled correctly early in the game. Initially, the game doesn’t recognize the word; later in the game, it does recognize the word. For example in game 1478, the words groin and groins were not recognized until I purchased a letter. I had spelled the word correctly 3 or 4 times before I purchased the letter. A little frustrating. Still, I enjoy playing the game.

Major issues. I have played this game for years and mostly enjoy it but lately I notice some major manipulation happening. Two weeks ago I would finish levels, collect points to play the bingo cage and if I took a break and came back to play they would put my cage collection back at zero. Happened all weekend. It was annoying because I don’t always want to play for an hour or two without stopping. Now this week every time I try to view the tournament rankings it completely kicks me off of the app. I have clicked on every other button on the game and no issues with anything except me looking to see rankings. Obviously they don’t want players to know their ranking or if there is no chance of ranking so that they continue playing without opportunity to win. This is annoying and may result in me not playing for a year or more. I watch ads, that should be enough; don’t need further manipulation.

Good, mostly. It’s a fun game, until you have to guess words that are not in the average vocabulary: foulard, prosody, or torpid. This happens often enough to be frustrating. The game is inconsistent in its rewards. Sometimes I will watch a video to earn 25 coins, but at the end of the video, there is no reward. In spinning for rewards, I may earn a hint or lightning bolt, but the reward never shows up. The latest version, 5.3..3, is still riddled with ads. Sometimes they pop up while you’re in the middle of your game. You can’t seem to pause long enough to take a breath, and another ad pops up. There are a few ads that refuse to return you to the game. It takes over 10 minutes before it releases you back to the game, if you’re lucky. Sometimes I just reinstall the app instead of waiting to be allowed back in the game. Maddening and frustrating. The program has stalled three times today alone, forcing me to reinstall.

Aggressive Ads. Of the word games of this type, this one has the best dictionary so far, accepting so many legitimate words the other games don’t even acknowledge as existing. The level progression is great, and the personalization is a nice addition the others lack. However, I don’t know if a recent update went out and changed things, but the ad push has gotten so aggressive I had two ads start in the middle of one game while I was finding words. There’s an ad every time I reopen the game from looking at any other app, half the time there’s an ad immediately following a completed round. I get that ads are supporting the free experience and that if I want them all to go away I can pay for it. I was 100% fine with the ad frequency before, because the ad breaks weren’t invasive and made sense. Now they’re so aggressive I can’t enjoy the gameplay or the elements I find so much stronger than the other options. If the ads could be toned back down—not removed, just not as invasive—I’d happily add more stars. But I can’t play the game now.

Fun game. Fun game. Ads are too long, especially the 4-15 second ads that seem to come and go randomly, those are the worst. The rewards for 25 bonus words are annoying and slow the flow of the game. Just give the 20 coins without the dumb presentation of the gift box. Could really do without the Stylecaster ads, 15 second ads would be much better, those make me want to quit this game. Your holiday wheels are quite the joke, never get any big ticket items, prefer the normal wheel for better odds. The long ads make me wish I never started this game, they are the worst!!!Tiles on the wheel?! Whoever had that idea should be fired, NOBODY cares about those stupid tiles! Stop being so cheap with the silly gift boxes, 80 coins after a chapters complete is a slap in the face! It should always be a big ticket. The ads

Wonderful. This is a great game ! It has everything all the word games have, but it also has all the special features you want to make it more fun. It actually has the grammar challenges, the tournaments, the daily challenges and extra events too! I highly recommend it. It lets you score for extra words but still challenges you to find the words that are in the puzzle that aren’t obvious. Plus, the music is very relaxing and you can play at your own pace. You can always watch ads to earn coins and other rewards, but you can also play ads free for a small fee. You can even watch an ad to get the dictionary definition of a word you are stuck on. Really, really love this game!👍👍👍

Great leisure game. I’ve been playing this game for a couple of years now and have to say I love it. It’s relaxing and you can play for hours. The ads are evenly spaced, meaning you don’t see them every five seconds so you can actually enjoy the game. Once in a while, an offer will even pop up to take a survey for one hour of ad-free gaming and 200 coins. There are challenge levels and a bonus wheel that let you earn coins and other bonuses easily so when you have to use them you can without worrying about when you’ll get more. The grammar challenges and daily puzzles are great way to change the game play up a little when you’re having trouble completing a puzzle and don’t want to use hints. You can do something different and then come back with fresh eyes as well as more coins. The backgrounds on the playing boards are beautiful and you can purchase new tile designs with your coins. The developers also run seasonal designs that you can earn during game play. It’s fun to see how quickly you can get all of them. If you have friends playing the game you can compete with each other in multiplayer games and the developers run game tournaments often, which also provide you with coins. The avatars are probably the least important part to me, but for those of you that don’t use a portrait, you earn avatars as you progress in the game. There are many to chose from although the initial selection is small. Overall, this is a wonderful game and you won’t regret downloading it!

I miss the dictionary at the end of the game.. Now it is not even available when you’re playing. How am I to know when I figure out a new word what it’s meaning is! A little disappointed you didn’t bring the dictionary back. But, I do enjoy the game! Still hoping you will bring back the dictionary! So I guess it’s too much work to have a dictionary. That’s too bad. It would help people to learn new words. please bring back the dictionary. I figure out words, but have no idea what they are. I am beginning to be repetitive. I still wish you had the dictionary. Do you think you could bring the dictionary back? Sigh.

Best word game by far!. I love this game more than any I’ve ever played! I love how this has the bonus words that give you 50 coins and it’s not hard to get 50 bonus words! There is a lot of ways to earn coins like playing against a person trying to get words faster then them, a daily wheel, achievements and little side events! There are challenges like having to hit a bomb in 5 tries as well as doing the daily puzzles. There are no lives so you can play as long as you want. I love that you can look up the definition too cause I like to learn new words. Great for my 4 year old too I will tell her what letters to put in and then tell her what the word is and what it means. Great to keeping her recognizing letters as well as spelling and reading. You can look up all the words spelled even the bonus words!

Fun game. My family and I like this game. Some of the levels have been challenging, but fun. If you don’t mind all the ads, you can play lots of levels without buying anything outside of what you earn. I lost several collections of coins from tournaments because I didn’t have a name and was just playing the game. I figured it out and now can earn coins from the tournaments. Those are fun to see how many words you get. It is amazing how many words can be found given the right six or seven letters. Thank you for the game. Updated- Do you have an option to turn off all the extra animations? I like playing the game. I don’t like all the animated stuff. I have turned off the one thing that is in the settings. I just liked going to the next level without all the animations. I have paid for the version, so if you build in something for the paid for version to have a total off animation option. Elizabeth Sue. Lots of fun love the challenge! I love the game. I get irritated with a black screen that continually comes up when collecting my points. I had to turn my phone off five times yesterday to get my spins. I also don’t understand how to use the numerical points. I would love to see more tickets for spins on the premium wheel, and less tiles on the wheel. How do I use my numerical points? My questions were not answered last time and now I have more questions! I had several of the fingers stored up and now they are gone. They were awarded to me through spins and I occasionally used them. Why were they taken away from me? Same questions that I had before. What can I do with the coin points, and what happened to the fingers that I accumulate? Need more bingo games and less collecting cat food points. Need more chances to get the special tickets with the chance to win more bees! Same comments as before. Need some special prizes for the collecting cat food. The tiles are kind of ridiculous. I get irritated when trying to take my spins for points, tickets, etc. and can’t get them due to the system just spinning.

Fun game but annoying piggy bank. I am really enjoying this game and I like the competitive aspect of it. I wish it was easier to replay people but you have to time it just right and that rarely happens. I even paid for ad free but I guess my opponents have ads so they can’t accept during an ad. I do wish there were more players. It seems like slim pickings a lot of the time but hopefully more will join. What I really do not like is the new piggy bank feature in the individual part of the game. It’s annoying that it pops up after every game—each of which last only a few seconds—and no I’m not going to spend $3.99 to buy the stupid piggy bank. You can “skip it” but It’s making me not want to play that part of the game anymore. In fact I hate the constant interruptions so much I’m not sure if I still want to give this a 4 or downgrade but I’ll leave it for now.

You either have to exit one ad just to get to another to exit out of it, or (such as webmd) you have to keep exiting out 4 times over a minute to exit. 2) what’s with this piggy bank crap? If you earn coins you ought to be able to keep / use ALL of them. Why the hell would I want to BUY a bank when I can’t use what’s already in the one I have? 3) If I get stuck, AND I have to buy a letter it costs a HUNDRED coins. For ONE letter. Okay, but if I find 50 bonus words I only get 20 coins? I’ve had games where I’ve found 150+ bonus WORDS and only earned 60 coins. And 1 of your letters costs 100? And if I sit through a MINUTE of ads I only get 25? 4) Anything that helps you out of a bind is offered to you FOR SALE. Personally, I don’t play a game to spend money, thanks. 5) Gotta love how your “lightning bug” icon covers the letterbox completely on some games. Had one game where I spent my hundred coins and it sent the letter to the box covered by the icon. Couldn’t read it. At. All. Finally guessed the right word. The more I write this, the less stars it seems worth. 2 was generous to start with. The only thing I like about this game is that allows me to waste down time in a way that allows my mind to work a bit versus playing solitaire. But before you start patting yourselves on the back, it also is the most reliable game to make me sleepy when I wake up in the middle of the night, like tonight.

Challenging The Mind. Having lots of fun. Filling in the interminable hours in “solitary confinement” due to the restrictions of Covid-19. This keeps the mind active and entertaining as well. It is fortunately far afield from the repetitive spewing on the TV screen. I like to see how far I’ve progressed In relation to all the others. My score is way up there and I enjoy the challenge of finding some obscure words. At age 95 I am still sharp of mind and will continue to meet the challenges of finding words. Who knows how far I’ll progress if the coronavirus remains. Right now Florida is not moving ahead at a rapid pace to confront the delta strain. My piggy bank is filled and I don’t know how to receive the benefits. Can’t figure that out. But the challenges are keeping my mind active for which I am happy .

Fun. It’s an interesting word game that seems fairly endless. I’m on level 1576 with no end in sight. The daily puzzle and challenges between players is always enjoyable, but it’s not something you have to do to advance in the game. The total of your interactions with other players just consists of solving words faster than them. There is no game chat...which I personally enjoy. There’s also no “timed” lives where you have to wait for so long until you can play again. You can literally sit down and play for 300 hours straight if you so choose (don’t do that, it wouldn’t be healthy). While you can buy clues with cash, you also earn game coins relatively easily, so the game is not dependent on micro transactions. That being said, I randomly make a purchase and throw some cash at the developers. I feel that the game is well worth it, and cash means that they will take a risk on making more games that don’t depend on micro transactions.

Don’t get promised rewards. I had been very much enjoying this game, but... their cust support & issue resolution process is sadly lacking. The ads between games can get annoying so I was happy to occasionally complete surveys to earn ad free play. I did that often. Sometimes earned up to 24 hours ad free for 5 minute surveys. Then one day saw a longer survey (was told it would take approx 15 mins for 124 hours ad free play). Seemed worth it. The survey took nearly an hour but would’ve still been worth it except I only received 2 hrs ad free. I contacted the support team. I sent screenshots proving that I had supposedly been awarded (but never received) the 124 hours. After 16 days and many many messages I was told that I shouldn’t have been promised more than 2 hrs ad free & they would not be honouring that commitment (I’ve had more than 2 hrs multiple times). Pretty poor. Whatever happened to honouring promises which are made in writing & proven with evidence? Really shoddy. Anyway, although I WAS enjoying the game this has understandably left a bad taste in my mouth. I think I’ll be finding another.

Different to the teaser. I clicked on a game that looked like it had grammar quizzes. Where is that? This is just another word guessing game, similar to crossword style without the clues. I’m so tired of the ’teaser’ being completely different to the game. Having said that, I quite liked the background pictures so I’ve continued to play the game. I enjoy the fact that the ads aren’t too constant, like in many other games. However one feature I HATE is that every certain number of words you get added points for bonus words. However when this happens every time it takes you out of the game and you have to click back into it. I lose my train of thought and my strategy that I was working on. It drives me nuts!

OK - but too many ads. The ads are seemingly non-stop in this app. Even during the game if you put it down for even a minute and then go to play it again. Deceptively simple game. Thought at first this would be a simple game for little kids but how wrong was that! As an adult I quite often find the pesky little three letter words hard to identify but perseverance usually wins-if it doesn’t I have to admit defeat and hand over to my wife. It stands out from the others due to the fact it has a live player verses player option, without this feature it would be just like all the rest. Buyer beware. I downloaded this game expecting a falling word search but it is nothing like the ad for the game. I have played many levels and done the daily puzzle and grammar challenges and participated in an event to hopefully find the game I was looking for but have still not encountered the advertised game. Ads constantly pop up and interrupt game play and whilst I expect some ads given free play this is beyond any other free game I am playing and makes the experience very frustrating.

Paid for no ads, still get ads. I was enjoying this game but the ads were relentless. So I paid for the full version. Now I’m continuously caught out by worse, longer ads if I accidentally press the wrong button. Not to mention bombarded with ads ons.

Suits me. I’m just a little (very) addicted to this game. It might not be everyone’s cup of tea but it’s pace, increasing difficulty levels and rewards suit the way my brain works. I don’t need to spend money to stay in the game and get rewards. I can set my own challenges.

Stupid spinning wheel. You always get a chance at the start of a new day to spin the wheel to gain free points or help with your game. The only problem is, if it lands on a gift, it gives you what ever it wants. You never get the true points. Frustrating.

Doubling option not working!. I love your game! But recently the double button has not been working. Almost all of the time now. Why is that?

Frustrating. Nearly every time I click on double reward and watch an ad I don’t get the reward. Sometimes I’ve had to click on double reward 3 or 4 times and watch 3 or 4 ads before I’m rewarded. Also I’ve started seeing ads that aren’t in English, totally irrelevant to me.

For Americans. Once you go into trivia a lot of it is things Americans would know but people from other countries probably wouldn’t, such as which network is a particular tv show on? Also a lot of words l have never heard of but that could be me. All in all, a bit disappointing

Delays and non loading of videos. Extremely frustrating when videos to gain rewards do not load. This happens approximately 60% of the time one gets to spin the wheel and almost always when you have to opportunity to double the rewards. This is not a Wi Fi connection or speed issue.

Annoyed. This would be a great game if on choosing to double the reward it didn’t often take you to the App Store after watching the video. There is no way to escape without force closing, meaning you don’t even get the original reward.

Was a great game till last update. I really enjoy this game, however the last update introduced a light bulb which highlights the first two characters of words if there is not activity after a short period of time. It is really annoying and has made a good game awful.

Good game. It’s fun but too many things are happening at the same time! The bingo is useless. The tournament is good but you can’t play without WiFi!!! New format. The new format is not good. 30 seconds long “ads” which in many cases is the same 1 second animation repeated over & over again, followed by 5 seconds of a “Get” screen is not going to keep me playing your game. Also it has become impossible to mute the music. The mute button does not work and it often reVerts to the “Get” screen. The controls to set volume do not work either. Each screen you generate should be capable of being muted by the user. I won’t be staying long unless you fix these.

Worth playing. Have been playing this game for a number of years. Ads are not bad. Rewards for playing ads. Know most words and continue to get to know new ones. Lots and lots of levels.

Was enjoying it then it reset. Played up to level 56 I think before it reset and I had to start from scratch. Loved the game play but really not going through all those levels again.

The only way I find these obscure words (eg not in common English usage for 200 years) is through desperation trying all possible permutations in my endeavours to finish. Note also Australian English spelling as opposed to Yankee American. Also on other games sometimes countries or currency are allowed but not consistently.

Technical issues. This used to be a good game. However the technical issues have ruined it now. When you hit the ‘double rewards’ it goes to an ad which just never opens and you’ve lost the reward as well as doubling it. Just ok. I love the concept of this word game and it is easy to use. There are a few ads but you learn to accept them. The spin wheel lands on the lowest prize most of the time, but you accept that too. What really really annoys me is if you don’t finish a puzzle and you need to come back to the game later, you have lost the words you had already found! Word Life. J’aime bien ce jeu mais….j’étais en train de jouer au bingo pour avoir la récompense et la vidéo s’est arrêté et j’ai tout perdu. C’est arrivé plus d’une fois que les vidéos ne fonctionnaient pas bien. C’est pour ça que j’ai mis quatre étoiles. Une mise à jour. Pour les tours gratuits de la roue, de ce temps-ci, 22 octobre 2023, ça arrive souvent que les vidéos ne fonctionnent pas et on perd des récompenses à cause de ce problème. 23 novembre 2023, il y a un problème avec le jeu. Je suis en train de jouer et tout d’un coup, le jeu se ferme. Ça arrive très très souvent.

I’m so upset. The game itself is good even though the grammar challenges are becoming repetitive. It appears to me that the prize wheel is definitely skewed towards the lesser prizes. If it were true, then it should land on the other prizes with as much regularity as it lands on the lesser prize s. In my experience another big problem is your choice of adds, especially those of sexual nature, the ads that drone on for more than one minute and those that go into a loop and from which you cannot exit. Please do something about the ads! There are too many! Your ads are too long and they stink! Does anyone even read these comments? Another experience I have noticed is that when either a ticket or lighting bolt daily prize is doubled, the amount accrued is not added to the existing quantity CORRECTLY! 324+32=342? REALLY! Why is this? This morning I cannot double the winning from my spins! What and why is that? Also having dark brown markers in the crossword makes it very difficult to see the letters! Are you really trying to discourage people from playing your game?

Inconsistent dictionary.. So frustrating! The word RAPE, both a noun and a verb, is not allowed until higher levels. Same story with NITE, which I don’t consider a word. Very stingy with points and would take years to collect enough to be on scoreboard. There are better apps which are more consistent and rewarding. I’m wasting my time here.

Word Life review. The word game is challenging & fun to play, but tends to have too many ads!

Spinning the wheel is off. No matter where I stop it ,I always get 25 cents. It,s kind of rigged not to get high numbers. Ditto on the rigged wheel still I like the grammar game your spinning wheel is still rigged??

Game doesn’t claim points properly. I have been playing a lot and have had my share of legit wins. Lately, my scores when way ahead are not recorded and the game delays our doesn’t let me play because of errors. The last game game I played my score was 3894 and when the tournament was over my score was displayed in 2894 and as second place. I’m competitive and I hate games that don’t accurately display your scores because of “errors” in their system.

Stimulating and fun. The game is very good for helping the brain stay fresh with many words and their meanings. It has been a great help for me with work definitions and word use, including expanding my vocabulary. I love the bingo and other in-game challenges. I’m not very good at the trivia although. I enjoy the 1 on 1 challenges from other players. My only concern would be when I win the fireflies, I would like to have the option for when I want to use them, instead of them being automatically launched at the beginning of each round until their gone. Thank you

Fun! But tournament results unreliable lately. I’ve played this game for a long time and enjoy it very much. Within the last several weeks, however, the weekend tournament results have been inaccurate on more than one occasion. I’ve scored more than 1000 points and when the tournament ends it shows I’ve scored approximately 40 to 50 points. I contacted the developer, who did not provide a satisfactory answer. The other issue with the game is that it hasn’t had an update with new levels in many months. Again, besides these issues the game is very enjoyable. I will probably keep playing until something better comes along. :)

HARD TO COLLECT COINS. Unless I want to keep buying coins, they’re hard to accumulate. The helper icons are too expensive to use. Although I like getting points (coins) for good words that aren’t apart of the crossword puzzle being played, I feel we should be getting more points for the words that are useable—it’s hard coming up with the right words at times, especially if it’s an odd word that isn’t a commonly used word. I don’t like the screening of some words the game won’t let us use. Buck up peeps, quit being so sensitive. All in all, crossword games are the most enjoyable for me.

Super chill. Super chill word game. The music is soothing, there’s no rush, no time limit, no penalties. You don’t have a limited number of lives or an energy bar that runs out. There are some ads but they’re not intrusive and don’t play every time you lose a level. The themes are very easy on the eyes and are pretty to look at. The only thing I wish was in the game was the ability to customize the main menu and to enable themes to stay instead of it changing based on what level you’re on. Other than that, great game. 5/5 stars.

Fun & keeps your mind busy. I really like playing this game I’m just not real excited about when Apple charges me double for buying extra points and then won’t refund my money. When you’re spinning for more extras why does it never stop on 1000 points. When you spin the free spins sometimes it does not give you what you got on your spin that’s a little frustrating. There should be more ways to win points then buying them because it’s getting quite expensive but the game is a lot of fun.

Mind Sharpener. I’m in my seventies and I play this game daily. It’s very challenging but lots of fun. I highly recommend it to keep your sharp. But now I have to add that the game has a problem on one of their adds that often comes up between levels. It’s the one that starts with “20 seconds until reward”. On my iPad more often than not the add is spread out so wide that you CAN NOT close the add. The only way to continue is to completely close out of the game and restart it. It is very annoying and you lose the spin you were in. Please correct this.

So far, so good!. Please Read This!!! This game is a great time passer and it’s greatly under control by the producers. This seems like it’s from the producers or whatever but no, this is from an actual player. I love this game because the ads aren’t frequent enough to be annoying as in ‘ANOTHER AD? I JUST WATCHED ONE!’, levels get more challenging as you go on so you don’t get bored with the game, and as said before it is greatly under control by the staff/producers. I am at about level 60 and haven’t seen any problem with the game so far. If you guys are gonna get a word game i highly recommend this one. This game deserves a 5 star rating!!!

Fun. Really enjoy this app. Keeps me on my toes. Since playing, I have learned several new words. Sometimes, it can get a little frustrating when you can’t put the letters together to make the correct word. That’s when I walk away for a while before coming back and starting again. All in all, this is a fun app. However, there are way too many adds and some go on which seems like forever compared to other games I play.

Glitches and lousy support response. I like this game a lot. BUT : too often you can try to put a word in and it won’t accept that word, but later the word is accepted. Especially in the one on one games. Also there are many words I believe not to be a real word at all. Their dictionary only shows you some of the words in the puzzles, leading me to believe some words are made up and non existent words! And support has not replied to my complaints at all, sent to them over two weeks ago! Great game but a lot of glitches and lousy support!

Player #ID. I give this game 3 stars. It’s a very nice game. Especially one that will keep you thinking but the ONLY thing I dislike about it is the fact that You can have the CORRECT word and it will NOT place it in the empty space.. so u are stuck thinking about What word it could be. When you ALREADY spelt the word the first COUPLE of times.. Really makes you want to delete it.. but on the other hand You don’t delete it hoping that the mistake doesn’t happen again.. So LETS SEE.. UPDATE.. I still stand by what I said.. You Can Spell The CORRECT word and it will NOT give it to you until You’re Spell the Big Word connected to IT. Too many pop up. Crash crash crash is all this app does. There is too many pop-ups. When the pop-ups do occur for all the ads it takes too long for the videos to render. Additionally there are too many next. It is nice to get an award and if you did the 25 words it should automatically just push the 25 but you have to click next next next several times. The game is great and fine but then it pops up and then the screen will go black and then. Crashes when you are doing double rewards. Losing out! The app is constantly crashing every time you try to spin the wheel, The video will play in right when it’s about to give you the option to get your reward. The application crashes

Rating the Game. I just played the Tournament this weekend. I had to put in a lot of hours play just to win 3000 credits. Had to watch way to many ads to get anything ‘free’. This morning I spinned the wheel for some free coins and out of 8 spins 7 fell on the25coin mark. Even though I tried very hard to get other amounts it kept going to 25 . Thats wrong !! I spent $11 to play this game and watched far to many of your videos to get a lousy amount of free coin chances. . I wouldnt play with friends because it would be way to hard to compete. Your winnings are TERRIBLE REWARDS!!!!

Challenging and Frustrating. My greatest frustrations are words often spelled phonetically rather than the actual spelling, or words like “git” that are more dialect than a word. Otherwise, once you get past the early, simplistic puzzles (which takes awhile), it starts getting really challenging, which really makes you think! It’s amazing how many words you can come up with from 7 letters, and maybe none of them fit in the puzzle! Or how the simplest words can elude you when you’re trying to puzzle out the various options. Don’t be afraid to give it a try...certainly gives the old gray cells a workout!

Best word game!. I’ve played a lot of games like this, and this is the best one! I also love the play with friends feature! You can play against friends, or random players in real time, and earn hints and coins! I spend hours, sometimes, playing! With the update, the Daily Puzzles are either not working properly, or their must be some kind of time to complete..??? I don’t know, I never got a notification about the change, but it’s really frustrating. I am used to the star, to get the word, and if you get it all, you get 3 stars. Please fix this. Thanks.

What about the pig...!!!!. Live the game just a few things I really don’t care for one is the pig. It seems to be you have to pay money to empty the pig if there is another way I sure would like to know cause the game don’t tell you and my pig has been full forever another is where the hints are located to easy to hit by accident and it uses a hit when you don’t need or want to it should ask before using it or put it at the top. Then it seems that I’ll try a word and it will say no but then I’ll try it again and it’s there what’s up with that. But other then those things at the top of my head it’s a great game I love it learning words I never even knew were words

the one thing is that there frequently. there are no available videos. is it possible to stop the click on the spin wheel when there are no available videos. i do completely enjoy the game. that you includes grammar and puzzle options to play. i started playing this in effort to stop/ decrease the recall memory was clearly hurting. that was in October 2021. i am pleased to acknowledge that my understanding was correct. my recall is much improved... i know because i don't yell at the phone or software as stupid!!!!!!! Fun!. I love battling other players. Best part of the game. There’s some glitches form time to time, but not too bad. In the battles I was getting 30 trophies when I won and now it’s 8. It changed on the same day. The other thing is that when you win you get 8 trophies, but if you lose you lose 30. Seems kind of skewed. Edit: someone said there are more bonus words than words on the puzzle...this is true and gets to be very frustrating. Edit: New points system for multiple player is so much better. Thank you for improving the game. The game process is less glitchy, as well.

Without the ads it is SO much fun. It is a fun way to stretch your brain. It also starts to train you that you have to look at things from different perspectives to see the possibilities. Some times I’ll input ten obvious words and none of them are part of puzzle. It gets you digging deeper. Only downside of noticed is with the ads it’s incredibly annoyingAnd sometimes when you put words in that are actually words it says that they aren’t. I really love this app.

Better than word scape. So this is fun, very quick on the levels at first. Unpredictable- meaning, they don’t just use the same words all the time. Some very obscure words as you get to higher level. Dictionary included! Good graphics, great pictures. Fun other activities and competitions. My only negative is kind of huge - the background music is pretty but horribly repetitive. Honestly, couldn’t you find anything else instrumental and relaxing? I had to shut it off entirely. Maybe they assume everyone listens to their own tunes, idk. In which case, why bother? Otherwise, I would give this word app 5 stars. Great game!

Too Many Random, Annoying Ads. When I first downloaded this app several months ago, there were ads, but just enough not to be annoying. Since then, the number of ads has increased. Now the ads are random (popping up at unpredictable times), frequent (2-3+ per game on average) and serial (one ad opens immediately after another, and sometimes a third). If you exit the app for any reason (i.e. to answer a call), get ready to sit through another ad or two or three before you can get back to where you left off just 5 seconds before. Otherwise, the games are modestly entertaining. To me, it is not worth paying anything to get rid of the ads. Have fun.

Ad overkill. I understand having advertising/commercials, but entirely too many and entirely too long. And the second you have to go off of the app you come back to ad after ad after ad. I also have the sounds off in the app, But it’s useless because they still play so loud and they startle you because they’re so sudden. Even if you shut off sound/music, they just suddenly start playing and startle of you. Don’t even think of trying to listen to anything like music on your Bluetooth speaker while you’re playing this game. Forget it it doesn’t work. Freezes up frequently. Also, the tiles you win are worthless. Get rid of them.

Great Word Game. The first reason I like the game is that the directions are easy to understand and you get into the game quickly. Second, I play a lot of word games and some of them become tedious by remaining too easy, too long. This one moves more quickly into interesting puzzles. Third, if you are just a beginner, start with this game because it gives you practice in finding words that are used constantly, no matter what kind of word puzzle you are playing. Lastly, the graphics are pretty. I give it 5 stars so far and I’ve been playing for several hours; even the ad frequency is bearable.

Okay game. For the most part the game is fun. I have no idea what the main token rewards are used for. There are a few things to spend them on but I have tons and don’t seem to need them. Not sure why anyone would pay to buy them. Don’t like that if a word is missed, you don’t get the count toward the three leaves to earn the tiles. My connection will miss and a letter will not show so it looks like I misspelled the word and once you miss one, you can’t ever get three leaves. I wish we got or could earn more tokens to play the word guessing game. Too many ads with this game too.

Entertaining. I enjoy this game very much. Working the word puzzles is fun, but I also enjoy the challenges, especially the trivia. I have learned some interesting facts and added some words to my vocabulary. I would have rated the game a 5 except it frequently has technical issues. It will get stuck and then I have to completely close it down and reopen the game. It’s not just annoying, it costs me points too. I also think that bonus plays are limited if you use points instead of spending money.

Word finder. Leave out swear words & monitor your Ads better. I like word games as a nice pass time. If I choose to tolerate the Ads rather than pay tons of fees, I certainly do NOT expect to see raunchy & trashy ones. And having swear words in the puzzles is also annoying & is NOT necessary. You ask for feedback from the Users/Subscribers, so I finally am. One more thing about the Ads. Why do you allow them to pop up when the Subscriber is in the middle of a TIMED GAME? That’s not fair at all, & the Ad kicks in at random times. Thank you. Please get rid of the Episode ads. They’re disgusting. I might have to find a different word game.

Enjoying the Brain Stimulation. It has been a good experience using this app for brain stimulation. I am so excited the finger was replaced! But I still do not understand what the chapter murals & gems are for. As for the coins I have been collecting, there’s not much use for them. What are some other ways that can be used to spend the coins other than on tiles? I truly do not need to purchase tiles when I am able to earn them. Thank you for the opportunity to share my opinion.

Fun but Annoying also. I just recently found this game and really like playing it a lot. But, there is way too much going on when you first open the game. I do not like all the extra stuff or the way too busy graphics. I would like to continue playing individually. Is that possible? I am not interested in competing with anyone. Another issue is that it sometimes does not recognize a word when you enter it but later in the game it does recognize that same word. Weird! As far as playing the game goes, I would like to give it a 5 Star rating, but I am thinking of giving up on it because of the reasons stated above.

Great game!. Love playing this game, but don’t like the advertisements. Sometimes there are no videos available and then no spin to earn coins or boosts. This needs to be fixed! This is my second review. Still major problems when spinning. Often there are no videos available so can’t do the spin. Why can’t you fix this? Very disappointing and frustrating. Also, while competing in a weekend tournament there was a glitch and did not receive points for completing puzzles. Score stayed the same no matter how many puzzles I completed. Too many glitches!

Not a fan of recent update. This is a great game. I love the daily puzzles and the challenges. There are ads but they don’t drag on forever. It is the best of the word games I have played. Only thing is the most recent update is very obnoxious. Previously, would receive bonus coins after guessing enough bonus words (20?). Now, every couple bonus words guessed, a pop-up tells me I have won and can double it by watching an ad. and offer double for watching an ad. It is completely throwing off the flow of the game for me. If it continues, I’ll probably have to stop playing. I am hoping this is just a glitch that will get fixed soon.

Good for the mind. I enjoy playing this word game. It keeps my mind active and learn new words. Just wish the wheel would not always land on the same cash buttons. I’ve needed bees forever which means I need to land on the ticket spot on wheel. It just rarely happens. I’ve bought bees, but the middle buy never works. Says down at this time which has been 10 months now. I’ve given up hope at this point. But again I enjoy solving the puzzles and the side games you get to play. Bingo, feed the cat and the fill in the blank sentences. All and all a good game.

Scoring problems. Okay, this is just a game, I know. I like it quite a bit, but this is the second time that my points from either Feeding the Cat or Hearts have been deducted in the competition! Yesterday I had over 1300 points of gathered Hearts before the competition ended. Today I looked and the scoreboard only showed I had 700, which cost me 1st Place and 2000 coins! As I said, this has happened before, so I want the Accounting system fixed! Otherwise, this is a pleasant game to pass time. Update: The scoring problem has been fixed, which is great. A great game to pass the time.

Word Life. Enjoyable Good brain game Good way to learn new words. Keeps my mind active. Like feeding the kitten. Grammar challenge is fun. Helps in spelling little used words. Like the challenges. Teaches me new words. A+ Still a fan. Good job. Hate the noise that comes with the ads all of a sudden. If I can’t shut it off May have to forget the game. Keep the ads. Dump the noise! Recently we haven’t been able to play the game without turning the phone off prior to using the app to access. All we get is the first screen telling us to relax and enjoy the game which won’t load.

Super Fun. This is my new favorite word game. I like how you can get extra coins for extra words but I DON’T like when you get 50 extra words you get interrupted and you are forced to take the 20 extra coins right then (which is why this isn’t 5 stars). There is another word game I play that is similar and you can go collect your extra coins when it’s convenient for you. Otherwise I will have made a word and not know if it was counted because I am forced to deal with obtaining the extra coins right then and if I enter the word again to make sure I receive credit for it I lose my place for consecutive words in a row. Other than that I LOVE this game!!

One of the best. One of the best word games there is. I’ve been playing for about a year I believe. The option to do a survey for no ads in the game is one of the best features any game could have. Although some of the words repeat, the puzzles portion is a little different each time. That would be my only real complaint is the words repeating. A suggestion would be for some of the weekend or weekly (I don’t remember how often they are) challenges to be more exciting. Other than that great game.

I can feel my brain growing !. I enjoy playing this game. The quality of the graphics are remarkable and the site is easy to use and navigate. Unlike most word games, WORD 6000 is challenging without being too difficult. It’s fun to play and discover how to score as many points as possible. The tournaments and prizes are also challenging and provide an opportunity to add points to your score. The special offers are well placed and reasonably priced. The ads are excessive…. Do I like the game? Yes! However, the ads are so excessive and long that I walk away and come back to the game or just stop playing. Because the ads are so overwhelming, I NEVER download any of them because I think the amount of ads in this one game are excessive. Personally, I have seen nothing like it. If they kept the ads at a minimum, I would be more apt to pay attention and possibly download new games but because of how aggressive they are with the ads, I refuse to download anything. It has had the reverse effect on me and I’m to the point where I will delete this app and just keep the other word game I have called cross jams. I mean, I can’t even complete a full game without ads popping up as I’m spelling out a word. Ridiculous.

Word Life. I have played this game many times on my iPhone and on my iPad, I always try to do the challenges. The last challenge on my iPhone was a joke, I played for 3 days pretty much non stop, prior to that I was in second place, after playing for a very long time I took the lead in which I showed my husband my score, at the end of the challenge my first place score was switched and I lost first place. I am beyond mad. This game cheated and whoever was responsible should be ashamed. I pride myself on being able to win the challenges but you ruined that game.

Same as other spelling games.. Not a bad game. Fun to guess the words that make up the puzzle. The major flaw in the game is the “prize wheel”. They have many different prizes. even a couple jackpots. However the only thing I’ve ever won is 25 coins. Had the game for a month or so, maybe 15 times I’ve spun the wheel. All 15 times 25 coins. Even when it looks like it’ll stop well before the 25 wedge, somehow it still rolls around to 25 coins. Just saying it’s not enough to say don’t download, or don’t play, it’s just highly suspect to always land on the same prize. Couldn’t I just log in and get the 25 coins. Why do they act like there’s a chance of winning anything else?

The best way to in rove your mind and best way of improving of the mind.. . It helps you good about yourself. I’m not al all perfect which is why they have levels to match your skill. It’s a joy to win & a heart break when the timer makes you time, but a best way of improving of the mind. Better to spend your time keeping up with your vocabulary and memory at the same time. I’m 72 and helps me a great amount Thank the authors for this fun tool. The best par is that the good writers make you feel you are a member of the those in the book. Better than TV.

Too many ads. I love playing, but there are too many ads. In the middle of a puzzle it will cut away to an ad(commercial) totally without warning. I don’t mind watching videos to earn credits, but often before I can start the first game, I am taken to a video. Also I don’t understand when I am not given the option to double what I have won. If there is no video available (poor connection?) it should tell me. Sometimes the tiles are too small to see. Some ads do not have a mute button. They are very loud and either blare music and voices out in public or jolt me out of my chair when coming through Bluetooth to my hearing aides.

Kinda Fun But Too Expensive!. The piggy bank fills up too fast, then you have to “empty” your piggy bank of coins, otherwise, he gets too stuffed to accept any more coins you earn. 🙄👎🤬This game is too expensive. It’s like it penalizes you for finding too many words! UPDATE: The company was kind enough to contact me and let me know that even though the piggy bank is full, I’m still earning points. The bank collects extra points and emptying it is optional. Thanks for setting me straight! This game is addictive! UPDATE 2: A bit glitchy when you’re trying to double your rewards! 👎 Still a fun game, but frustrating.

Not as advertised. I downloaded this game because the advertisements had you reading a question and choosing the answer that in the word scramble. A refreshing change to all the other word scramble games. This seemed new and fun so I downloaded it. I went through the first five levels and it was just like every other word scramble game out there. I went through the first five because I thought maybe it would change to the questions type of game as advertised and after the first five it did not. Someone needs to actually invent the games they advertise for. Highly disappointing. It got three stars because it is just a regular word search game and it’s decent. But not what was advertised. I am deleting it.

Enjoyable game, but.... This game is very enjoyable, but the need to watch advertisements for some other really stupid looking games is not. I also find it strange that in some puzzles words that are slang or contractions are acceptable and in other puzzles they are not. Also, some common terminology may be acceptable in one puzzle but not in another. For example “grist”. Why that is considered to be a word on one puzzle, but not in another is, frankly, puzzling. And someone needs to decide if contractions and slang are acceptable or not, across the board. Considering that slang and contractions differ across English speaking areas that might be a daunting task, but consistency would help.

Word Life. This is my go to app for relaxing. It actually challenges me but not to the point of me getting frustrated. Whenever I need a moment to just empty my mind and focus on something else this is the app I use. I love this app but there’s one thing I dislike. Whenever I need a free hint after the video is done there’s no way to X out of the add. All I want is a little help but without a way to get out of the add I’m stuck and struggle to figure out the answer. I don’t have enough coins to buy a hint. I would just like this problem to be addressed but overall it is an amazing app.

Word live life. An enjoyable game. Requires too many coins for helps. Really do not like the interval commercial given in increments to complete. Hints spend a lot of coins that require many coins to get. The coins must be achieved by watching many repetitive commercials that are so annoying!! The bottom of the puzzle interferes with the letters available - can’t see what is there. I despise the commercials!!! Especially the Royal Match & weight loss gummies. Absolutely torture to endure them almost makes me not want to play your game

Just a money grab if you don’t know how to get around it.. Paid for no ads, still get constant ads from the developer for in game purchases. Meh. Answers are inconsistent. Sometimes words are valid answers, sometimes not. Just understand that the only reason this game exists is to get you to purchase hints via coins, etc. I flat refuse to do that under any circumstance. I’m sitting on 200,000 coins without paying for any of them. (Full disclosure, I did acquire something like 30,000 one day due to a bug that allowed me to keep collecting a single award multiple times. Finally got over the tedium of tapping over and over again (and felt a little guilty) and quit.) At this point I’ve finished all of the official puzzles. It’s a time waster that works for that purpose. Just don’t waste your money on it.

Love everything about this game but…. 1. That I have to watch an ad before every spin except the first one. 2. That the piggy banks are too expensive to empty. 3. That the ads where the poor little mother and her poor little child are freezing to death unless I do something! This and all the rest of the ads with women as victims is very offensive, especially when women’s shelters are filled and women and children truly ARE homeless and in the cold. Please remove and make better choices! Other than these things, I absolutely love the game and can play it for hours if I’m not careful! 😍 Thank you for your consideration.

Great game but ads are way too long.. I really enjoy this game, but lately the lengthy ads are really annoying. I play whenever I have a chance, but I get frustrated when I have to sit through six, 10 second ads combined as one ad to do anything. I can’t afford to pay to get rid of the ads, so I tolerate them. However, if I can find a game that is just as challenging with fewer ads, I will probably move on. With the exception of the long and numerous ads, this is a fantastic game.

Long Commercial. Initially rated 3 because of 40 second (or more) commercials, and the fact that some other commercials have no content, but cannot be stopped. Also because of frequent crashes. The app used to be mostly enjoyable, but some “commercials” have now gone to 1 minute. This is totally unacceptable for a “fun” game. If you don’t have any appreciation for a player’s time, you will lose revenue. The rating has now changed to a 1 as result of the change. In addition, some of the commercials now fail to recognize the portrait vs landscape orientation, resulting in a lack of ability to exit a commercial (i.e., the commercial requires a wide image, while the iPad is in a “portrait” mode). Fixing it requires shutting down the iPad, and can result in losing all remaining spins.

Love Word Life but…. (1) There are wayyyy too many ads, (2) the app freezes when I’ve been playing for too long and it screws me up when I’m trying to have a perfect game, (3) when my phone is plugged in and I am playing the game, my phone gets VERY hot and the game starts freezing and messing up (4) kills my battery, (5) some of the adds turn off my music to play, and (6) what happened to the daily Wordle!-style puzzle? Other than those issues (and that’s a lot of issues), I do enjoy the games…they are addictive!! Please fix the issues.
