Lists
For all you list makers, you’ll appreciate how easy it is to quickly make a list. With one tap, you can add a list to your cart, then select your preferred brand and size for each item.

Worst shop online site in Minnesota. Hy-vee is so behind in the online ordering, pickup delivery game! I do my grocery shopping online 99% of the time. Their site doesn’t offer the option to edit your order, even with a limit up to 12-24 hours prior to pick up time. So you can’t make any changes once it is submitted and no option to cancel the order all together. You actually have to call the store, get transferred to the Aisle on-line dept and wait on hold for someone who’s available. It really is to bad, I like the items and deals they offer and especially the quality compared to others stores in my area. Another issue is not being able to order any of the hy-vee pre made meals that are in the refrigerated area when you first enter the store, like their Mac and cheese, meatloaf, ribs, and mashed potatoes etc. the ones you can heat up at home. Pick up and delivery is not going away. Not sure what they paid for this miserable app but I do know it wasn’t worth the price. They are failing miserably when it come to their competition in this area.

Best grocery app. I love this app. The only thing lacking is the ability to add to my order when I forget items. The communication between the shoppers texting app has some lag, so they aren’t always seeing when I say I need to add something to my order. I usually end up having to order the items I forgot through target where it’s possible to order without a $30 minimum.

Keeps Getting Better!. Just used Aisles Online for the first time in awhile at the HyVee on 64th Street in Kansas City. They’ve drastically cut the lead time needed for orders and now use texting to tell you the order is ready. When you leave your house you reply to that text with “Go” and when you arrive you text again “Here”. Flawless. You can even let them know which of your ordered items for which you will accept a substituted item. I would encourage you to try this service. Super convenient and fast!

Chilly. Hy-Vee has always been my store of choice but right now I am very disappointed Our Hy-Vee no longer has anyone at customer service; you have to wait and wait for someone to help you!! Because they are doing other jobs!! It is so cold in the store I carry a jacket in my car to wear when I shop at Hy-Vee!! They are so short staffed it makes it hard for employees to cover all the jobs they are suppose to do. Our store manager Stephanie works every department and is so helpful . So sad to say I am starting to shop at Fareway where it isn’t freezing cold!! Wake up Hy-Vee return your customer service employee and start making people smile in your aisle!!! Iowa Falls customer

Wanted to love. I wanted to love ordering through the app as a friend recommended it. However, I’ve had a hard time with it. I made my first order last week and set it to be delivered the following day. My husband and I work opposite shifts so this was the easiest for us. I added some things to my order and they didn’t show as refunded but they didn’t come in the order or show up as ordered. It was like they just disappeared from the app and order altogether. I dug around trying to get some sort of answer but it was futile. In a world where inflation is skyrocketing and I’m ordering more than $200 worth of something I need to know I’m actually getting what I paid for. It’s so inconvenient going to the store when I’m exhausted from working a 40 hour work week but I guess I’ll be forced to keep going to the store in person so I actually get what I need and pay for.

HyVee App. I LOVE shopping with the HyVee app. You can take your time and read the ingredients on any product you want, instead of standing in the aisle at the store while you pour over the tiny print on the packages you buy! I have saved a lot of money because I don’t end up putting extra foods and treats in my shopping cart like I do when I shop at the store. The shoppers do an amazing job at filling orders accurately, and they always pick great looking fresh produce and meats. Using this app has been a huge time saver, too. The delivery fee is a bargain at twice the price, when you consider the time you spend at the store and the trip there and back. I started using this service in the pandemic, but probably won’t return to going to the store myself because I have found that I love getting my groceries with this app!

App Has Issues. Since the pandemic has started I have used this app as I am a person considered high risk. At first I feel like I could order the stuff I wanted but increasingly I find that for whatever reason many of the items listed in the ad are not available online. Why? I wanted blue berries yet nope not available. Bogo Mahi Mahi oh no not available online. If it’s in your ad it should be available. I’m so glad I paid $100 dollars to constantly be told I can’t get things or the store is out of something day one of the ad. Need to get this worked out or you not getting that $100 ever again.

Time saving blessing. Absolutely love this app. Not being able to shop in person due to myself and special needs adult daughter being higher risk, this app is a huge blessing. The only thing that would make it better is if there was a way to add to my shopping list within 24 hours of pick up if I forgot to add something. If there is I haven’t found it so far. Our HyVee store though is exceptional in Papillion they really are a helpful smile in every aisle.

Hy-Vee has the best pick-up. I have used several grocery stores for pick up in the area. I actually stopped going to one store entirely because of unbelievably awful service involving pick up. Hy-Vee has the best pickup service ever. They text me while shopping. The individuals loading are always pleasant, friendly and accommodating! Plus the product is always stellar and available! I just love going to Hy-Vee for groceries!

Sale items. Your store is the only one I shop at. Staff very professional. Don’t have to stand inline half hour or more to get checked out like Walmart. Yuck!!! I only wish your sale items lasted longer than I day. As I am older and can’t run to store every day so I can get the sale items. like today eggs, and salad on sale. Tomorrow will be couple other items I need to save money by buying when you have sales. But I can only go to the store once a week or less. Thankyou.

Frustrating to use. The app requires patience. If you put in a fresh produce product, the first items up will be some form of processed item. Example green leaf lettuce I will get all the stuff in bags instead of the fresh head first. Pasta I get all the canned and boxed junk before the plain box of pasta appears. If you want to add a note to your shopper, you can only do it just before you check out. If you add notes, then remember an additional item to add, the notes are gone when you check out again. It cannot provide substitutes for a spelling error, such as molk will not be recognized as milk.

Best App and Service. I have been ordering online for over two years and having groceries delivered for the last year. I couldn’t imagine preparing our food each week for our family of 5 without this services. It saves me so much time with excellent service each week. Thank you so much for me personal shoppers and texting about my order. Thanks! Becky

Not Functional if Shopping in Person. I used the previous app to review ads and make a shopping list. Unfortunately that app no longer shows the ads and refers users to this app. When trying to make a shopping list here (for me shopping in person), I cannot find a way to add products to the List section. The only option when clicking on a product is to add it to your cart for online shopping. Major fail. There are still some of us who prefer to go to the physical store and pick out our own groceries.

Some convenience, but need to check order. The convenience of using the app instead of going to the store should be great. However, I have rarely had an order that was complete or didn’t require a substitution. They don’t tell you what items aren’t available nor is it clear from the receipt. I basically don’t know an item is missing until I’m home and unpacking or ready to prepare a meal - quite inconvenient as it is a 30 minute drive to the nearest store. I also have been disappointed that not all items stocked in the store are order-able in the app. So,I have returned to in person shopping to be sure I know what I’m getting and have the full selection of all items stocked in the store.

Pharmacy access is abhorrent. With the old app, I could easily refill prescriptions from my account. With this so I have to scroll through every prescription I've had since the Sycamore, IL location opened and once I do finally find the needle in a haystack, I have to scroll through every prescription I've ever had (about 10 years worth) to get to the refill this prescription. It's a slog to just fill a necessary prescription. Particularly since for several months when I've sent in a necessary refill, I traveled the hour to get to the closest HyVee with my favorite pharmacist (Sharda) only to get home and find they didn't fill it. So we had to go an hour away again the next day to go inside and tell them I had put the refill in to be refilled five days before the first day I came. Your app is neither functional for the pharmacy, nor does it seem to reliably send refills to the pharmacist in a timely manner. Considering changing pharmacies to somewhere closer who has a functional app.

Too much to look through. On every survey taken for grocery pickup, I say the same thing over & over. So hopefully one day soon this will be a reality. I have always wanted to see way less items to have to look through (no one person has time to look through over 1,000 items). My wish; when an item comes up & it has multiple (flavors/differences) put 1 picture item on main screen but allow to click on & “pick” the one you really want & when you go back to the items, you actually go right back to the spot where you were. Also, there are several times that the “multiple” search doesn’t always pop up so it makes you search for one item at a time. Thank you!!

Hyvee App. I love the Hyvee app we always do Hyvee isles on line. We’re 50 miles from a Hyvee so we use the app to create our grocery list out the items in the cart & the following week we usually order. We really need a Hyvee store in Madison, SD bad! We have a Sunshine grocery store but there more expensive & there’s not much variety. So for now we will drive back & forth to do Hyvee isles on line. We love Hyvee & so does the rest of the town that makes the drive just like we do. Thank you for an amazing grocery store w an excellent app.

Hy-Vee app was better. It’s a pain to have to scroll through all the different variations in each item that is on sale. One should understand that if Gatorade is on sale that all flavors would be on sale. Why is there a posting for every flavor instead of like the old app that said “x” amount of flavors included. Over half of the ads are repeat of something already shown in that sense. Also there is no way of searching in the ad section what you want to look for. Classic case of we had a good thing going so let’s put out a new app to add one nice feature to the original app but take away a ton of features that made the other app great.

Bill in Clive. During the pandemic we used Aisles on Line almost exclusively. What a positive experience! Yes there were a few glitches . Some substitutions, and sale prices not recognized. But these were handled promptly, professionally, and courteously by Melissa. Our orders were packed well and loaded by a hard-working and friendly group of young workers. We are mostly back to shopping in the store (Waukee) because my wife likes to walk the aisles! Thanks Hy Vee!

App is fine. The App is fine. I can’t say it’s better than the old one unfortunately. In fact they have made it slightly harder to make my grocery list and find my loaded coupons. I prefer to shop in person and the App seems geared toward someone shopping from home. I can easily click an add to cart option to buy the groceries but have to click on each item to add it to my shopping list. You’ve added an unnecessary step I don’t appreciate. Let me add to list first and then give me the option to add my list to the cart and buy online. Also, once I have clicked to load a coupon I can’t seem to find a list of the loaded coupons on there while shopping. Not sure how that helps.

Check out. I prefer to go through the checkout line getting assistance from the cashiers. Here’s why. They are so fun to talk to you they are so helpful and they’re always smiling at you. If you’ve had a bad day by the time you get done shopping there and get out to your car you’re smiling! Logan Hy-Vee in waterloo has been my best experience for that! Helpful smile not only in every aisle but at your checkout! keep smiling that includes the pharmaceutical and the customer service people!

App Upgrade Needs some Tweaks. I am an avid Hy-Vee app and Fuel Saver user. The prior version of the app had the Fuel Saver card on the landing screen. Tap the credit card icon and your fuel saver would open. Now you have to click on “Rewards,” then “View My Card,” and then it opens. It may not seem like a big deal, and let’s face it, in today’s world it’s not, but standing in line unloading groceries, processing the debit card and then trying to remember the new multi-step process to get to my FS card frosts my muffins.

Good app. Could use some additional features.. The app works well for me, and I’ve had no issue placing orders. My orders have been complete each time I’ve used it, the prices have matched what I’ve been quoted, and suitable replacements are chosen. My major gripe is the only cart you can have is your live cart. No shopping list, and you can’t have multiple carts. I would like the ability to have at least a list I can add items to, and then add them to the cart when I want to actually shop. All in all, a good app that could be great.

Hy-Vee caters to It’s Customers. As elderly shoppers Hy-Vee has really helped solve our shopping needs. Not only have we not felt safe because of COVID to shop in the store but we are both with knee & walking issues and ordering online has been a life saver. We can select items as needed & put in the cart ready for our next trip to town!! Your pickup service has been so very easy, necessary, and has worked out so well. We are usually using the service when we come to town for medical appointments or prescriptions so sometimes timing is hard. The staff handling the pickup have been so accommodating to handle our either extra earlier arrival or if we are almost late!! What a good crew you have hired!! My only slight complaints are the quantity of meat that has to be ordered. With cooking for only 2 people who eat smaller servings the packages consisting of several pounds presents an issue at times. The other problem is the unavailability of gluten free items at times which are required for my diet. Thank you for caring for all age groups of your shoppers!!

Not useful, terrible app. Why do I have to login every time I open the app.. on my phone. It takes me to your website to login. But if I try to pull up my web browser to view the ad, it tries to pull up my app.. and asks to login, back on the website. It’s so frustrating. And yes.. I have the box marked to remember me. Fix this!! No other app makes you login every single time. Save my info and my store so I can get right where I need to when I need to! When I can get in the app is nice. But if I just want to add something to my shopping list quick, this makes me give up and quit bc the point of the app should be ease and convenience.

Helpful. Ordering online with Hy-Vee is probably one of the best places I’ve ordered from. A personal shopper picks your stuff and they check the products before they pack them for you. They also ask you questions about your choices to be sure that they don’t bring you something that you don’t want. it’s quick and easy. Love ordering from Hy-Ver in Gladstone, MO. Whether I go into the store or order customer service is always nice and helpful.

What Happened to the Texts. There have been changes made to this app that have eliminated the text messages between the store/shopper and the buyer. Special options for Hy-Vee Plus members appear to have been eliminated: option of adding to order after the order’s been placed; communication between the shopper and buyer about out of stock items. It’s extremely frustrating to have the first communication about an order come from the third party that’s delivering it. This comment has nothing to do with the app. Your third party delivery service, in my opinion, is the worst available. Very poor choice.

Can’t get app uninstalled from phone!. Why isn’t it as accessible an option to uninstall app as it is to install app? I think when there was legislation written on this, HyVee, or possibly i-phone apps didn’t get updated? I will not use an app that forces me to accept cookies and change my privacy settings to be analyzed - and I don’t want these kind of apps on my phone. It should be made very clear before downloading how invasive the HyVee app is. If people don’t mind and it’s just about convenience to them, that’s fine - but it’s deceptive to those of us that know it how information is abused and manipulated first hand! If it isn’t underhanded to start with, then there would be no problem with for-warning the details up front. ( perhaps it’s there hidden way down somewhere?). And if it isn’t a trap, why complicate the uninstall???

Lazy Workers. You might find the delivery service convenient until the person shopping for you brings half the items you request. They don’t bother to tell you things like if you order early they won’t get meet because the department is closed. Sometimes I get someone who will text me and try to work with me to get similar items, other times I get someone lazy that will just say they don’t have it. The lazy ones usually won’t respond to my messages etc. It’s the same story you get with any business, but for the extra 20 dollars in charges I would rather just drive up there and shop myself, at least then I know that I’ll get what I came for not half the stuff for enough money to pay for three meals. Be smart and don’t waste your money so someone else can be lazy.

Very good but needs a couple tweaks. 1. Need a preview of available pick-up time slots or delivery time slots before placing the order. My order may change if I find out I can’t pick-up for a couple of days. 2. I love the pick-up option, but wish there was a way to add a tip for the workers at the store who pick the groceries or load them into the car. I am trying to go cashless and contactless for everything. Otherwise the app seems stable and has been meeting my needs. Thanks!

Easy and accurate!. I gave this app five stars because Hy-Vee is really stepping up during this pandemic. They are helping us like never before. Between accurate online shopping and providing shoppers to help minimize exposures is amazing! The products continues to remain high quality as well, even my produce (which I can be picky about). The flexibility of their shoppers to help us is amazing as well. When I call in they are usually right on it. I’m so grateful for their help.

Useless release notes and badly needs an iPad version.. Hy-Vee is a fine grocery store. The one I grew up with and the one I still prefer not that they are in the twin cities. However, this app is sorely needing in some basic updates. First, as a software developer and a thoughtful consumer it’s unacceptable that the release notes are copy/paste of some generic pablum about “behind the scenes” changes. There were some fairly significant UI changes recently, but you would never know from the description of the update. Much more importantly though this app needs an iPad version. This app is iPhone only and scales very poorly. The iPad is not some niche device. It’s mainstream and offers some significant when it comes to exactly this type of application and use case (screen real estate, keyboard/mouse support, etc). This alone has me using the Target app more often since it offers similar product mix and features in a much more pleasant format.

Not all items have nutritional facts posted. I just downloaded to look at and see if I would be able to use it. Unfortunately I will not be able to completely to my advantage. I have to have the ability to see what ingredients are in a product and I need to know nutritional facts as far as how many macros are in a product. For example the number of carbs, dietary fiber, sugar, added sugar. Every grocery items has to have this information on its packaging. If I can’t see what that is before ordering it I won’t be able to order it because of my health. Some items have this but not all items in this app does. I would love to switch from the major box store that has the ability to provide me the nutritional facts on all their products I order but unfortunately until this app gets updated to its competitions level it really is useless for me to try and use

Almost a great app. I switched to this app from the regular HyVee app because some options were no longer available when they merged the two apps. For the most part it is good and has what I need, it’s just a little different layout that I need to get used to. The one thing I do miss is the option to search for an item in the deals tab. On the old app I could type in a brand name or a description, and I could see if there was a sale or coupon. Now I have to figure out which category it’s in and filter it by category. I have to look through a lot of unrelated items and sometimes I’m not sure if I selected the right category. A search feature for the deals and coupons would make this app great.

Simply the Best. It’s hard to beat the service (I list that first), products and cleanliness at a HyVee store. When you enter the main door, you are greeted by an array of fresh, colorful displays of every kind of fruits and vegetables with the prices clearly marked. Take your choice because there are many. Then past the restaurant with choices from main meals to pizza and Chinese. My grandson can’t resist the large raised donuts with their multiple coverings. The service and choice and sale prices at the meat department will get your attention. Steak is a rare treat at our house but who can resist when they have a choice 5-to-8 oz bacon wrapped sirloin for 5.99 each or maybe less and the taste is as good as the price. Then I walk past the milk, bacon, butter and freezer area. I bake a lot and load up on eggs and butter at their sale prices. I always understand when they are sold out of an item because of the sale price. This is getting too long so I’ll close with the checkout/customer service departments. I’m elderly and am comfortable with self-checkouts but this young man responded to my raised hand 3 times during my checkout and he never did show any irritation with me. Remember, you can always tell the quality of a store or restaurant by the amount of cars in the parking lot, people keep coming back when you offer good service at a good price!

Din’t use it!. Everything it says about app is true snd if they could get their accounting fixed it would be grest. They sent me several different ants in 24 hours before delivery; yes, produce, bulk and meat may be estimated skightly off - but the amt they ended seemed close until I saw receipt that arrived didn’t match any of their totals and was in my favor. I was billed as if there were no adj. They told me there would be a $3 credit on next (this) bill. It showed on receipt but still are billing my acct as if everything was on it that i originally ordered. On today’s order they sent me an adjusted amt because several items were on sale and they didn’t have one item but still getting billed for things I didn’t receive. Receipt amt correct but they have yet to bill me the ant receipt shows. Trying to talk to them is like talking doubletalk. NOT WORTH THE HASLE!!

Regarding Rx Functionality. I can only write this review regarding app prescription services through the app and share that it is remarkably time-consuming to use. No ability to hide prescriptions you no longer use. No ability to have prescription alerts set or sent to you based on when next Rx is available. No ability to group together the same prescription so your list isn't screen and screen of old prescriptions you don't want. can figure out when the prescription is next due for you to order. Cannot condense view to a simple one or two line entry, meaning your limited to seeing about one-and-a- half medications per screen. Takes forever to find the one you need. Cannot hid order from last or previous years. Duplicate buttons that have practically the same title and do almost the same thing, which should be combined to eliminate confusion and improve user experience. Should show # of prescriptions remaining on main list, rather than having to click another link. Should actually have ability to put medications with no refills or that are expired into their own category to reduce the length of the list. I could go on but I think you get the picture. I don't know who examines UX for this app, but perhaps they should take a look at it.

Needs to have a different section. I love this app and how easy it is to use. I do pick up at least once a week. The only thing I find frustrating about this app is a notification. It will do a pop up saying that items in your cart are not available and have been removed. It would be nice if there was a section showing what was removed from the cart. When planning out dinners I add ingredients for 4-5 meals, and sometimes I have very large orders. Then, like tonight, I am missing cream of mushroom soup that I needed for my dish. It is very frustrating especially when we are trying to limit exposure time due to covid.

Increasing problems (lost a star). Overall, the app works alright. I use it every week to pick up groceries (curbside), but has some ongoing issues. If you open an item in a list to order it, you cannot scroll the list anymore until you "move" the same "frozen" item. This can be a tiny move that doesn't change the order of the list, but in doing so, it opens the item again which then requires you to close the item. This is tiring/frustrating after a dozen items and maddening after 50 items every week. My family can't understand why I am cursing when I am ordering groceries every week. Many times, if I can wait and order it from Walmarket later, I will skip some groceries to save time -- I have more important things to do than to waste time clicking in a grocery app. Now, with a recent update, something has gone terribly wrong with the lists. I can no longer scroll to open any lists not already accessible on the screen. The list just "bounces" back up before you can click on the lists off the screen. This is very upsetting as my existing lists cannot be reduced/mixed without causing problems. Increasing problems means one less star.

Deserves zero stars. This is a terrible app. When you click on”Get the Deals”, it is completely impossible to get even half way down the list to see the deals because the list refreshes long before you get to the bottom. I have yet to be able to get to the bottom of the list and I’ve been a perks member for several years. Not only that, but there is no way to access the week’s flyer to be able to see the deals that way. Completely worthless and one of the most frustrating apps I’ve ever tried to use. This app needs to be scrapped just like the Hy-Vee in Gladstone needs to be scrapped and start over - in both cases.

Love the convenience of this app, just one small gripe. I started using this app during lockdown, and it has been a lifesaver for me. I have a baby and don’t feel comfortable going into the store with her, at this time. So the convenience of ordering online for curbside pickup is absolutely wonderful! The tiny gripe I have regarding the app is that the “search” bar does not clear itself. If I search “ground beef,” I understand that still being in the search bar when I go to type in the next item. But if I back out to the front page of the app from “ground beef,” I get frustrated that I still have to delete those words before I can type anything else. I know that’s the tiniest of all inconveniences, I am just used to the search bar working that way on everything else, and I end up typing two items in on top of each other and then having to click around to delete all the text before I can correct my search.

Good but needs a few things. I downloaded the app and I must say it is one of the better grocery store apps I have used. My favorite feature is being able to make a list and shop from my list. I also like that I can search for variations of an item on the list. I only gave 4 starts because two things I tried to do and could not figure out to do ... my assumption is that the features are not available. First... I want to be able to add a credit card to my profile without having to place a separate order. Secondly.. if I forget something on my list I want to be able to add to my order (perhaps adding a cut-off time) without having to call the store to ask them to add to it. Whit future updates on the app these features should be added! Otherwise great app.

Love Hy-Vee the app just needs some work. I’ve shopped at Hy-Vee for years and continue to drive by other stores to shop at Hy-Vee because I trust the quality of their food and products. It’s been a tremendous help during the pandemic, plus also a great way for me to be able to safely get groceries delivered to my elderly parents. I’ll be continuing to use the app and delivery/pick up option even beyond the pandemic. However, the app needs some work. First, please make an iPad compatible app so it can be used in landscape mode. The big thing though is why you don’t have all the products I know are in the store I’m ordering from. I can walk into the store and get those items yet not chose them in the app so I know it’s not an inventory issue. In addition, some items/options don’t come up in the initial search but when I go to choose my substitutions more options are suddenly available. Also, the substitution options don’t always make sense or show all the options. And the price of the substitution items should be included so I know if the option I’m considering is priced the same or higher/lower. I know technology is constantly evolving so I hope you will continue to invest in such valuable tools for your customers!

App needs more. I like to be able to order groceries on the app and just go pick up the order vs trying to find items in the store. A time saver. That said, I wish it had more back and forth communication when items are out of stock, be able to get a text when order is complete, add notes to each specific items not just one note in general on the order, and be able to rate the shopping experience through the app. Fareway has an amazing app and very good communication. Always get prompted via email and text with any order issues. And you get a text to let them know when you are 5 min away, then when you get there. It only takes about 2 minutes for them to bring out your groceries. Hy-Vee dollar fresh in Oelwein, you have to call a phone number when you get there. It rings about 20 times before someone answered, then took another 10 minutes for them to bring out the groceries. Probably won’t use this app again. Will go elsewhere.

Tweak Needed. Hy-Vee, you are working very, very hard in these critical times to take care of your customers, and I for one appreciate it. There’s one thing you must do to keep us happy, and that is allow us to edit our order after it’s placed. The way it is now is just too rigid. Inevitably, I think of something else I need within five minutes of submitting my order. Also, if it’s a couple days until I’m picking up my order, a lot can happen in that time. What if I find out I’m having company in those couple days? What if I order something and then realize that I already have two of those items on hand? In this minute-by-minute world we live in, we need more flexibility. You did say, Whatever It Takes! 🙂

Guns and Groceries… Why?. Last time my family shopped at HyVee we noticed lethally armed guard patrolling the store with HyVee patches on. One armed guard had a Glock with a standard 17 round mag, along with two clips. What is going on at HyVee to warrant this response? It’s intimidating and overkill. This is unfortunate, my wife and I loved shopping HyVee, we often used the aisle service as we have kids and it helped with a busy schedule. However, it’s not worth it to feel in danger of death by armed rent-a-cop. The police can’t figure out how to responsibly use firearms, my family sure does not trust a rent-a-cop to do better. The exec at HyVee who thought this was a good idea needs to be fired, I can’t believe this got past the pitch in a boardroom meeting.

Bakery. For many years I have enjoyed the products that come from the HY-VEE bakery. I have a ‘particular’ donut I like😊 Recently I have not been able to buy this donut. My local store told me they no longer have control over what is available in the bakery and they get whatever CORPORATE sends them. I have also noticed the other sweet rolls are dry and not fresh tasting, day old?and dry. WHAT IS GOING ON? I am more inclined to stop at CASEY’S or 7-11 for freshness. I am terribly ☹️ disappointed.

Messed up pharmacy. I have prescriptions that have to be called in each month by the doctor. I can’t automatically refill them. With the old app, I could see the status & know if they were ready. I can’t on this app. It may be more convenient for shopping so I don’t want to be completely negative, but even the old one was a far a cry from all the info I had to access to on Walgreens app—where I could see my record going back years and extremely detailed info. Our insurance refuses to work with Walgreens, and while I’ve been happy with the in pharmacy service for the most part, the app is no where near what I was used to. And the new app is forcing me to go to the legacy app to see status on any prescriptions that aren’t automatic refills. I’d appreciate if they’d strive more towards a more complete app with regards for the pharmacy section.

It’s the little things… App Refresh?!?!? Grrrr. This one is 100% on the developers. There are ways to do things and ways to not do things. When you give people a long list of “deals”, it’s probably a good idea to not annoy them endlessly by refreshing the list and starting over at the top repeatedly. I’m sure it’s a simple fix, but we’re going on or two years of that behavior. I don’t leave reviews very often, but since you just made us all switch, from one “perk” account to another, with absolutely zero benefit to us… probably because you switched a vendor or something. Maybe stop doing the stuff that actually drives users crazy. Your prices are high enough as it is, we have to use the app to even make it competitive.

Caution: just use the website!. Overall, I liked they Hy-Vee app until recently. Apparently there is a problem specifically with the app (not a problem if using their website) where the monetary placeholder hits the bank account, but the order never goes through to the store. There is no way for either the store or the technical support to remove the pending charge (because in their systems the order doesn’t exist). So you just have to wait until the pending charge(s) fall off your bank account in order to access that money again (2-3 days). The bank also cannot get rid of the pending charges, since it’s a problem on Hyvee’s end and they are not magicians. The tech support recommended that I use the website to try again, but by then I had 2 pending charges of a decent grocery order, so my bank account was drained. This was a problem that Hy-Vee store and tech support were familiar with, so I’m not the only one this has happened to. Just use the website for online orders!

Hy Vee ap. Love Hy vee s app, I know all the daily specials each and every day, can just get on my phone and pop it right up, look over all the ads , order food or bakery items or my groceries for the week can even have them delivered or I can pick up with ease, this app is so convenient, will always continue to use it,

Shopping list app issue. You had a pretty good user friendly app. Then you changed it for people who online shop. We Don’t. Previous app had aisle on app so was convenient to know what aisle a certain product was located. You took that away. Not happy ! please restore aisle marking on shopping list. The shopping list is great for doing check off why shopping. Second: prescription refill: Your auto refill will no longer allow to type in refill number. Have to scan?

Shut out. I have used the app to order a few times now and I have always been thankful for the app and Hyvee for offering this smooth pickup option. However, yesterday was different. I filled my cart yesterday in the app. Once I went to check out I came to a screen stating “oops! Something went wrong” and asked me to try again later. I tried 5 more times throughout the morning. I finally gave up and was unable to order what I needed. This is not cool.

Can’t get new app version to download. I have the legacy app and every time I open it I get redirected to the App Store and told to download the new version. It isn’t available to download. I deleted the legacy version from my phone in hopes I could download the new version and it still won’t download. Now the only way to get into the app is to go into the App Store, open the app. This issue has been going on for over a year. It’s very frustrating. Please help me fix this

Shopping list features are horrible. I love Hy-Vee and was excited when I saw they had an app with a shopping list feature. However I’ve been extremely disappointed at the experience. I used to live in Texas and shopped at H-E-B, that stores app was wonderful since it grouped your list by aisle and allowed you to check and uncheck items so repopulating the list with staples was fast and easy. Anyone from HyVee app’s dev team should go look at that app and copy it. Also the HyVee app is rife with bugs where things won’t show up or update.

Needs a Fuel Saver Fix. This app is great, but been broken for years now. More often than not, it’ll take .02¢ from my Fuel Saver Earnings. I’ll go in with 0¢, earn .60¢, and come away with .58¢ instead. It’s been this way for years and I’m always told it’s just a bug, or it’s been worked on. It may be just .02¢, but it adds up. I’ve probably missed out on close to .50¢ at this point. Something needs to be done.

Online order is clunky. Online order is clunky. Some things you can’t order like bulk meats. Why? If you forget something you can’t call and add to the order. You only get a text if the order is ready and then that is not always consistent. Even this review my cursor moves but the text is invisisiblwnto me. Lol I seriously see a wife screen Plus you can build a list but you can’t actually see your past in store or online orders and shopping. Check out the store FRED MEYER IN WASHINGTON. not only could I see my full past online orders., but I could also see the full in store order I checked ours out wi in person.

Confusing. I like going to HyVee. I make my list and check the app for deals. I like walking up and down the aisles. I check my list when I think I am done. I usually have to go back for something. The old app was easy to use. I used this aisle thing and it is like I want pick up. I do think it should be like Target and Cub so if you have a card you don’t have to select a coupon. I already made my list, skipped the app but I will enjoy walking your aisles tomorrow.

Accessibility. I am a Voiceover user. Although I can shop from the search bar, I cannot read the items that come up under fuel saver or the sale heading. I would be greatful to be able to use the "buy againwas tab to speed up my shopping experence. It would make a smoother experience if once you go back to the search screen after shopping from it, edit field contents would be automatically selected or cleared so you don't just add to what was there.

Why on earth did you remove the product locator?. I don’t use the Hy-Vee app for recipes. I don’t use it to read articles about Buffalo wings. I don’t use it to be bombarded with Hy-Vee ads. I use it to make grocery shopping as easy and efficient as possible. But you guys took out the one feature that actually helped me do that. Please fix your incomplete app. Walmart and Home Depot had this feature years ago. You did too, until you removed it for some unfathomable reason. I shouldn’t have to have two Hy-Vee apps installed on my phone just to get a complete set of features.

Payment Options. Love the app. It’s easy and convenient. I know almost everyone and their dog has a debit card, but i recently got rid of mine because it’s too easy for me to use and therefore overspend (my fault obviously). With that being said it’d be great if Hy-Vee made PayPal an option. Either way it’s a pretty great app. Even if I can’t actually use it right now I still use it to check what my cart will theoretically total out to.

Store locations not available. This app used to link to my local store. Now it cannot find my local store, so every time I use the app the products listed and the ads are inaccurate. I cannot modify my saved list without the app freezing. What a waste of time. I now have to physically go to the store to check out what is actually available and on sale. The app is not helpful when it links to a store 45 minutes from my home! I will be shopping elsewhere.

Can’t access list. Spent time creating a shopping list in the app, get to the store, and the list won’t open. Just a blank white page with the “shop this list” red button at the bottom to send all items to an online order. When the list does open, it is in no discernible order and no way to sort the items to flow through the store easier. All produce should be listed together, then all meat and dairy, and aisles should be listed in numerical order. Not items from aisle 5, the items from aisle 14, then aisle 4.

The old app was better for grocery lists. I am so frustrated with the new app when making my grocery list. It will not let me add quantities. She in the store it’s so difficult to use. Before I was able to sort by isles which helped for getting around the store. I have to remember the quantity I need for each item. The store I shop has reorganized just about everything making it difficult to find things. The new app is giving me an aisle but many times was incorrect. Think I may go back to my manual pen and paper list. It’s not worth messing with the app.

Horrible app. WiFi at store does not work so cannot access the app. Unable to use cellular data as well in the store. Load their daily deals on the card and then does Not work at register- reported to corporate repeatedly to no avail. Corporate seems oblivious- they forward to store and a 20 something responds which is of little or no help. Hate Walmart but Aldi does Not carry everything- small town has only 3 options. Unfortunately have to shop Walmart from now on and Aldi. This store requires too much work and provides too much frustration.

Not In-Store Shopper Friendly. I used the old HyVee app for years to quickly and conveniently create grocery lists on my iPhone every week. I understand the need to adapt to online, COVID needs, but why eliminate what worked for the people who like to pick out their own produce? Now, I can’t simply tap a deal and add it to a list; it has to go to a cart that someone else fills on someone else’s schedule. I truly appreciate all of the safety measures that HyVee has taken during this crazy time, but remember your faithful customers who prefer to select what they eat themselves.

Obsolete Rx not deleted.. The app should delete Rxs with no refills when a new Rx is received for the same drug. Even the pharmacist cannot delete them. For those of us with a lot of prescriptions it is very confusing to have two, three, or more of the same prescription. If you accidentally click on an obsolete prescription, it has to be faxed to the doctor. If this happens most doctors will only refill for thirty days rather than ninety days. This is more costly and requires unnecessary trips to the pharmacy.

Multiple stores to look up inventory. I have 3 HyVee stores about the same distance but not all stores have cage same inventory. So when shopping online I have to constantly look up and switch to other stores. I wish I could have 3 stores to look up Veal and other item without changing my favorite store

Endless loop. Don't use.. Major but. Just use their browser web site - it works just fine. But The app has problems. If you select a pickup time, then do the order, pay and select a pickup time, then save it - then it says slot not available - pick another time. If you try to select another time, it will reject that time - even if you try another day. There is no way out of this cycle. I even tried switching to another store, another day - etc. Finally I went to browswe, repaid and got done ok. Hopefully both payments didn't go through.

Like the app but wish it would not remove items. The app has gotten so much better recently but I do not like that it removes items in my cart. I tend to leave things in my cart and use it as a shopping list at times. Instead of removing items it would be better to grey them out showing unavailable. Thanks

Needs work for in store experience.. While this is supposed to be an app for online shopping (based in the name) HyVee is pushing this as their main app. For those of us who still like shopping in-store, the experience is a downgrade from the old app. Shopping lists don’t group by product types ( dairy, deli, etc), don’t show where in the store the items are and other features to help with shopping in store. If you want this to be your main app, change the name from Aisles Online and spend some time on in store experience.

Best service EVER!!!. Never would have thought about grocery delivery before this Covid thing, BUT ~ this is a wonderful service for the ill, elderly, and anyone who needs help with time constraints, and anyone who wants to avoid the crowd and sickness exposure! My orders are complete and delivered as stated, and Hy-Vee employees are so helpful and with a smile 😊. Totally happy with Hy-Vee app and service! Thanks

Love the app; frustrated with the store. The app is great. I love the convenience of shopping from home and then swinging thru to get my groceries. The only frustrating thing is when the app says that all of my items are available but when I pick up the order there are several items marked ‘out of stock’. It wouldn’t annoy me as much if I didn’t go into the store to find a good substitute and find all of my ‘out of stock’ items clearly available on the shelves.

Review. This app is difficult to use ! Can’t find coupons easily or the ads( which I prefer the paper but that is just a sheet of paper now snd awful) the original app was great and easy to find things but now you guys made the original app to where you can’t find anything but the deal of the day on if that . I got tired of trying to deal with you guys on figuring it out. Also I won’t pay 100$ to get this new app or deals . You guys just made me use price chopper more. Also trying to submit this all the names I put in are taken

Good app, but could be better. I downloaded the app today, and placed an order. Because I’ve shopped Hy Vee Aisles online, the app had the right store. It was easy enough to shop, and find what I wanted. I like the way it lets you decide if there will be substitutions, and what item to substitute with. That is outstanding. Here is where it could be better. Walmart lets you add to your order until 1:45 am of the day of your order pickup. In other words, it lets you add to an existing order. This means I can add items I forgot, or found and want, and Hy Vee gets more money. I could find no way to do that either with the app or the website. It is a win-win if the shopper can add to an existing order, and Hy Vee gets a more money.

Tip entry line is buried - please fix!. Huber needs to make the top entry window much more prominent. It is the absolute last line, on the last page of many, written in a light font, just above the bright red bar saying “complete purchase”, with a default of “No tip”. If you select no tip once, it is preset that way from then on. Several windows state “delivery: free” and “tip: none” with no ability to enter one, making it seem that tip is included. I just learned that I had made this mistake, and ended up giving no tip to many Dashers this summer. Shame! Making the font of the tip entry window red and bold would help. Giving a default tip of 10% would be reasonable. Placing the entry window earlier in the process would help. These people are essential workers during a pandemic, while many enjoy “working from home”. Vulnerable people would not be able to safely get groceries otherwise. Please fix this, HyVee. The app is otherwise excellent.

App functionality is awkward. Unable to create a shopping list from the visual ad. The default page with text below is too small a picture of the page to identify brand, etc. I want to select items from the enlarged visual only page. The page won’t rotate to landscape. I am not an online customer. I grew up with HyVee in IOWA and like having you here in Minneapolis, but I find that your advertised deals can be hard to find or are limited in store when we arrive, so we are inclined toward your competition.

Not very useful. Have placed orders with this several times during the pandemic. First of all, while letting HyVee substitute items I have been shorted items on about every order. I contacted the store about adjusting my bill with no resolution. We are all buying items because we need them, only to be shorted or told they are out of stock at the time of pickup. I’m probably going to look elsewhere for the majority of my grocery needs in the time being. I understand the stores are under immense pressure, but come on

Not allowed to make changes. The app is super frustrating. Once you place an order, you cannot make any changes. I am used to using Instacart app or from a different grocery store which is much more user-friendly and allows you to make changes to a couple hours before your pick up time. Also whoever picks the orders has a tendency to not pay attention to the notes in the app. I’ve gotten really gross produce or the wrong version of an item multiple times because of this

New version is junk.. I’ve used the app to get my prescriptions done for the past few years with no problems. Last week they launched a new app. Downloaded it and locked out of the pharmacy page. Had to answer 5 random questions that made no sense at all to prove my identity. Only one question was about me, the rest were just random location and number questions that had nothing to do with me or where I live. Now I have to go into the store and show my ID so they will unlock the pharmacy. I used to use Walmart pharmacy but I switched because Hy-Vee is closer to me.

Mostly good. Some room for improvement. I typically really love this app. I just wish it would allow you to add stuff after you have checked out or secured your pickup time. I often check out and immediately remember something I wanted to add. I hate waiting to check out until the last minute though because I have forgotten before and then not been able to do grocery pickup when I needed to.

Switching pharmacy locations is unclear. When I type in a refill number, it does not give me the option of picking the med up at other HyVee Pharmacy locations from what I can see. Another issue is you have a multitude of products in the store that are not featured in your online ordering system. Particularly your some flavors of the kombucha products. Otherwise the app seems to work great.

Prescription refill. Complained about NEVER having prescription ready for me even after giving them several days notice! Heard from Manager how this was unacceptable and they were hiring more help to rectify the situation. You would think this would prompt him to make sure my prescription was moved to the front of the line, but still waiting for them to be processed!?? It’s now been over a WEEK for my refill and still waiting!! I can see how important we are to them! If you can’t keep up don’t offer a day and time to pick up! SAD

If only it stays logged in. I like the page by page browsing of the deal but the app always log me out and since it is my husband’s account so I could never remember the password ( let alone trying to remember my own password). I was using the other app of Hy-Vee but now it redirects the deals to this app so now I cannot make a shopping list. Another thing is when I just wanna make a list but it always ask which list- there are two lists and I couldn’t delete the other one. To find the list is too hard as well. It’s not made to use as a shopping list.

Bring back the old app!. Too hard to add to my list and I cannot adjust quantities in order to shop the coupon when multiples are needed unless I just add more to my list. No aisle location either. Pick up and deliver is not an option at Hy-Vee as the pickers have no interest in getting you fresh produce and meat/fish. Most of the time the items are not available anyways and I end up having to go to the store and get them anyways. Frustrating that I can find the out off stock items the same day. Fix the app or I will change where I shop. I want the old app.

Not happy. Says it will keep me signed in. Every time I have to log into the app. Everyone wants you to use their apps but with all the stealing going on it’s a futile waste of time... when is someone going to invent something that doesn’t absorb all of my time... I get better results with going to the store and getting my stuff there... coupons used to come int the newspaper and the good ol days seem to be more PRODUCTIVE than the times we are living in. Not at all happy with the app. Makes things more difficult and time waster!

“Refill Prescriptions” function does not work. The main reason I have the app is to refill prescriptions. It has never worked. I have contacted Hy Vee support multiple times over approximately the last month. They just tell me they are working on it. They have promised to get back to me, but they never do. This is a terrible app, but I would not write a one-star review if Hy Vee would at least get back to me and at least say something g like, “Sorry, we are having trouble with the app and we are not sure when it will be fixed,” but even that seems to be too much trouble for them.

Helpful smile in every isle.. I had always loved shopping Hy-Vee ads from the paper. A good deal is a good deal and we order bulk meat when it’s on sale. This last time was chicken thighs, we called and were told they had 75 lbs so we drive twenty five miles to find out they didn’t have any but had legs. Extremely disappointed. My only other beef is I do miss the ads on paper. Bad eyes.

Incredibly Slow. The regular Hy-Vee app no longer allows the viewing of the ads and building of a shopping list. It directs users to this app. This app is incredibly slow (7s load time/screen on both 24mb wireless and 4G). It also does not include all available ads. Finally, if you want to build a digital list from the ads for in store shopping this can’t be done. I used the regular app for that but it’s no longer available. Hy-Vee has forgotten many people still shop in store and want to view weekly ads in a mobile experience.

Partially Worthless to me. I use the app to help locate items in the store, as well as track my Fuel Saver and find digital coupons. For a period of time the search function did not work. Now, the digital coupons I load no longer get applied to my purchase, so if I want to get the coupons I have to go to customer service (and wait up to 10 minutes when they’re busy) and have them manually refund those coupons, huge hassle, I guess that’s one way to increase profits by not honoring coupons they post

Hy-Vee app. I do like being able to have a shopping list on my phone. Unfortunately time after time when I load a coupon & put fuel saver items on my list, they often do not show up on the final receipt. Several shopping trips I have had to stop at the service counter. I will also use Hy-Vee Wi-Fi but it still eats my battery and seems like in the back of the store my app won’t work, even when using the Wi-Fi. Rating 3 stars due to that.

Best grocery app of all time. Someone buy the developers that made this app a round of drinks because it’s amazing! Love the personalization that remembers my favorite brands and frequently bought items. The substitution feature is incredibly useful and easy to use. I love being able to create lists so I can separate out different grocery needs. And the barcode scanner is super helpful, too! All around an A+ app.

I HATE this app!. I hate that Hy-Vee required me to download a SECOND app to use my fuel savers now. It is harder to find coupons and fuel savers. It is harder to find the coupons I clicked on once I added them. Why couldn’t you leave well enough alone?? The other app was just fine! I could make my lists. Add coupons. Go and find the coupons after I added them to see what I already added... so that while I’m shopping I can look for what I added .. duh!! Now I forget things when I’m in the store because this stupid app makes it so hard to see the things I want!!!!!!!!!

Very disappointed. I do not shop online for pick up. I used THE OLD APP to make my list, down load online coupons and SHOP IN STORE using the list generated on THE OLD APP which showed aisles or dept. Being forced to use this app negates that list as well as seeing coupons. Bring back the old app with these features or UPDATE this app so that is user friendly for IN STORE shoppers.

Poorly Developed App. The company needs to do more thorough testing of this app. About half the time the cart does not load, won’t display correct sale prices, loads ads from wrong days, etc. I have yet to order pick up from HyVee because this never seems to work correctly. Just this morning I added 12 items to the cart but when I go to the cart, just get a something went wrong message. I’ve worked in software for a couple of decades and am not impressed with the performance of this app at all. Do better

Review. You need to put ALL of your deals in Wednesday’s ad, so we don’t have to make so many trips to your store. With gas the price it is, and being a senior citizen, I feel like I missed out on a lot of opportunities because I’m NOT going to the store every day. Also, you need to get your emails sent out on Wednesdays earlier, as I normally don’t get mine till around 930, in which I normally shop a lot earlier in the day. What is with the nickname, in order to send.

App review. The app is great. The only issues I have are when going down the long list of items on sale it glitches out when you get towards the bottom and kicks you back to the top; when you pick a coupon to load to your coupon list that you don’t want anymore maybe have an option to delete it so you don’t have to wait for it to expire to go away.

Clumsy User Interface. Too much prescription history and can’t get auto refills like Walgreens. Payment ahead of time is a great feature, but local employee have to told that you paid or they have to ring it up again. Can’t find a phone number for the store in the app. Better off googling it if you need to fill a script fast. Sometimes I get notifications or texts when scripts are ready, but sometimes my wife gets them. I don’t get notifications when scripts can’t be filled due to low supply or other reasons.

Web and App problems. Cannot get prescription history from web or the app. It usually gives a message to bring a photo ID into the pharmacy to verify identity or it doesn’t work at all. It’s very frustrating for someone like me who needs to submit various details to my insurance provider. I have been placing orders from the app for over a year now and picking them up without a problem. No ID has been required for these transactions!!

Super tired of my fuel saver being unlinked. I have been using this app several times a week for several months now. For some reason it makes me log back into my account multiple times during my shopping session. I am searching and shopping the store and when I go to add item to cart I have to log in all my information again. Super annoying! Also keeps dumping my fuel saver account and it’s not quick and easy to re enter, I have to log into the program and link it back up. I’m a busy working mother of three littles and these waste of my time inconveniences irritate me profusely!
