App is good service bad at drive thru. I have been a loyal cvs customer for over 35 years, I recently changed to Macs pharmacy, not because of price, but the cars I was instructed to buy a young lady at the drive-through!!😧🥺 While waiting for my prescriptions in the drive-through for a lengthy amount of time, which I understand, Cvs stays busy that’s a good thing, but when I pulled up and said you guys are really busy, the lady just looked at me and rolled her eyes after sitting at the window with no response for 11 minutes. I was asking her if there was a way that I could physically request my prescriptions to be done a different way than callingling in the day of. Her exact words were,” you could go somewhere else”. I said is that how are valued customer is treated, told to go somewhere else. I told her that’s exactly what I’m going to do, and, as explained very clearly that that is not how you treat a valued customer, and she just kept on making it worse. The pharmacist approached her as I drove off, I’m not sure what the young black ladies name was, and I have never been treated and humiliated so bad, I feel that this needs to be addressed, for Cvs sake. Very disappointed.😥

Pharmacy workers not listening. Today there was a patient gentleman that works for your pharmacy on Taft Ave, Cincinnati, OH, near UC, that finally heard me when I said “there must be a mistake with my insurance information, because I am being charged too much”. I had said this more than once, and showed a number of employees my cards. I requested a printout that showed which insurance was charged. No success. Tonight, the gentleman checked all the numbers and found the mistake and made the correction. After he typed in the new numbers, the out of pocket cost changed from $107 to $40. There needs to be more customer service training for your employees. There is lots of traffic at this store. It’s so busy. They have be able to fine and correct errors without talking to the client as if they don’t know anything. One guy took my cards and put in the info incorrectly and told me that the copay amount didn’t change because only one insurance pays. I often get charged more when the Perscription is requested by my doctor fir 3 months but is only filled for 1 month. If I am experiencing these types of problems, I’m sure others are also. Please go back 6 months and check the insurance that was entered and make the correction. I would like to have any co pay charges that were more than I would have been charged returned. Thank you.

Easy to use but issues with delivery feature. First I’ll say that I use this app frequently. It’s very good. Very easy to use for prescription refills. A few improvements are needed to make it great. Texts sent to me contain links to delivery options. It would be nice if all the texts automatically opened the app. The flow in Safari isn’t great. If you push me to a browser from a link I should be presented with a sign in option immediately. Otherwise I get to check out and have to enter all my personal info. Over the last few months the delivery option wouldn’t pop up on the app or safari so I had to call the pharmacy for delivery. Looks like that bug was fixed recently. Other things that are getting better are auto refills. There was a change in policy that forced re-opting in for auto refills but the app doesn’t have the option for that on some prescriptions that had it before. Add an alternative feature, like a link that sends a request to the pharmacy. Script sync needs work. I’ve requested this several times in the app but still don’t have my prescriptions on one schedule.

Stop the madness!. Stop telling me through MULTIPLE emails a day that “you left something in your basket” online when not only did I order the stuff but they were either already delivered or on their way! I BOUGHT THE STUFF NOW LEAVE ME ALONE! My prescriptions are either showing renewal, needing to be renewed or auto refill…which would be great if they were right! I’ve asked many times to be taken off auto renewal. Never works. My refills are never done because my local store doesn’t get the orders from the app. I have also never been told on several recent occasions that a few of my prescriptions are no longer covered by my insurance. Instead, the app shows they are in process, has sent me email confirmations that they are being filled and then when I get to the store (a major issue for me with my health situation) they have no record of my inquiry! I cannot get delivery due to my insurance, which I wish you would get already and stop hassling me to sign up for it, and it takes a great deal to get to the store. One of my prescriptions not covered now is a life or death type of med that if I don’t have, I literally could die. And not knowing it can’t be refilled so I can contact my doctor is inexcusable! Tell someone they can no longer get something so our doctors can get involved!!! Oh and trying to call the store is a nightmare. 45 minutes on hold only to tell me they can’t do anything is ridiculous. Do better.

Disappointing. I am so tired of this worthlessness of this app. I do not want my scripts on automatic refill because I pick up at different stores. Last night was a perfect example of the problems I have. I ordered 3 scripts for me, 3 scripts for my husband and 2 scripts for me that needed to be renewed at the doctor. Today the three for me are ready for pickup. The three for my husband show they were last filled yesterday but they are labeled “in process.” The two that needed a new script show they were filled today but I have to call the pharmacy to get them filled. This happens EVERY time! When I call the pharmacy I wait for 10 minutes or more and no one picks up. I tried going to the drive through and it didn’t move for 10 minutes. I know they can’t help being busy but if the app were fixed to automatically release scripts when you have requested a refill from the doctor it would help. It would also help if “in process” had more info, sometimes that means they didn’t use the coupon so th e script is being rejected by my insurance, sometimes it means they are waiting for the medicine to be delivered to the store and sometimes it means it is just sitting there waiting to be put on the system. It it wasn’t for the fact the CVS I normally go to is right where I turn I would have switched to Walgreens long ago.

Marketing Consult Needed for the Pahoa, HI CVS. The App is Mostly usable, whereas the Phone recording for the CVS in Pahoa, is the Absolute Worst Phone Info Messaging I’ve EVER witnessed in a Major Store Recording. just try getting through to the pharmacy for your medication! It can’t understand anything you say unless you speak pidgin. For those of us who don’t it takes every bit of 30 minutes to try to get somebody on the phone from CVS to call me and talk to me in regards to my medication. I also find it disheartening that the same store closes down completely for 30 minutes every day to take a lunch break fortunately it’s at the same time every day so you don’t miss your pick up unless you’re just really not paying attention. It seems like a tremendous amount of revenue would be lost in that 30 minute time. And as a nurse 50 years I can count on both hands, the number of lunch periods that I actually got to have lunch! there’s gotta be a better answer than this because if the other people that work at CVS behind the counters and out in the isles if they can take a break without disrupting the store why can’t the pharmacy people do the same thing?

Pull-your-hair-out frustrating. If you open the app and navigate to your prescriptions and click the link inviting you to refill…it will probably not work. If it does, this will be the least frustrating thing you will have accomplished in trying to use this app. Click the option for home delivery….not possible. Why? Who knows: not me, and not CVS, because if they knew they’d certainly tell me. See the link to add other items to your cart? Click it…ah, doesn’t work if you’re in the pharmacy section of the app. Close the app and restart and add items to your cart, save, navigate to pharmacy…ah, not possible, you have to start the app, open the menu and choose pharmacy first thing if you want to refill a prescription. If you are able to somehow refill a prescription and select the option to prepay, upon completing the transaction you will wait to get a notification from the pharmacy advising that your prescription is ready. Once notified, you will go to the pharmacy and it will not be ready. You will wait. Once you finally do receive your prescription, you will be enrolled in an automatic prescription refilling scheme against your will, which will generate a text message in 30 days notifying you that your refill is ready. And it will not be. Vicious cycle. IN. SANE.

CVS APP / A CALL IN / PUT ON HOLD. Before The App!! Longs Drugs then / Now CVS HAS from day 1 more then 20yrs TOP Notch Quality Customers service has always been a 5 Star and above and be on !! My only problem with part of the app it the managing your med after filling the information and I get error my email is used ? And it wants a new email. Call customer service had something to with old phone with a different email? I forgot the old email !! We decided to start over new card.... Problem still unsolved??//!! MY SECOND comment has to do with the phone system and it’s not about being put on hold!! THIS IS THE ONLY THING ITS THE MUSIC ITS NOT EVEN A STAR THE SOUND IS CRACKY MOST OF THE TIME IT’S HORRIFIC AS SPECIALLY WHEN ITS A REALLY BUSY TIME AND THE STAFF IS SHORT HANDED??? Please don’t get me wrong I love CVS !!!! That music cruel and unusual punishment 🤢 I don’t mind waiting my turn 5,10,15, but please do your customer a favor and the employees that answer the call? I can almost guarantee for the part customer would be hole lot nicer😊!! That music for more than a few min could be the straw that breaks the camels back!!! Thank you CVS always on the CUTTING EDGE!!!!

Worst app I use. I’m usually not harsh about apps but this one has caused me numerous issues in getting my medication on time. Running out because of a terrible app is totally unacceptable especially for such a large company. For instance, the app said I picked up a medication in January. I did not. The doctor reordered it after a January visit but it was too early. So when I wanted to refill it, it wouldn’t let me. It appeared that I had picked it up. Then the history details said it was on hold. Another more annoying problem is the app not agreeing with the store computer. Happens frequently. But worst of all is when ordering a refill, it refills at the store the prescription was originally faxed to by my doctor which is another state. It doesn’t matter if I changed every address months ago and the pharmacist transfers it while I’m standing in the store. Then, she or I must call the wrong pharmacy to have it returned then wait up to a couple of days for it to be filled in the correct pharmacy. That means occasionally I RUN OUT OF HEART MEDICATION! Your computer system also doesn’t let me know the prescription is ready (often) even with that option selected. Shame on your company and computer technology staff.

My CVS #7513. I love my CVS, everyone is so nice and polite. My pharmacy David and his staff are the best. If they say 20 mins. It’s 19 mins. They greet you by first or last name. I don’t expect them smile all the time, because they look at pills all day. They do their best to get you out. I’ve been getting my medication there every since it was built all the Pharmacist are great. They are very willing to answer your questions if you have one about your meds. David is quick to ask me if my doctor changed my medication because he is aware that there is a difference in a medication that may be the same as one that I’m already taking. I have never been disrespected but by one lady, and she still refuses to treat me with respect. The other new technicians in there are very slow I have orders in there in the morning and when I go in at 8:00 PM my order is not ready. Then you have to sit back and wait 45 minutes for them to get it ready. If they change companies of where they get the medication. They used to tell you this tim they didn’t I had to call. Must you have to wait that long when they’ve had it all day. Someone in my opinnion has dropped the ball somewhere or they don’t have enough help. But it’s not my problem.

Overall satisfied with both CVS and the app. The app has been up and down in its usefulness over the years. The current revision (writing February 10, 2023) seems to be doing. Just got everything I need, and doing it fairly well. There were times in the past when I was cussing the app, but that is the past. My only problem with it now is one that will not go away because it is actually a security feature to protect me. And by that, I mean, the app signed me out after inactivity and then I have to remember to sign back in in order to use the online payment. And as others have used this review space for things other than intended I guess I will do the same. And I’m doing it because I saw at least one very negative review of a specific CVS store. I’ve been using CVS in East Patchogue since it was built. The staff has always been friendly and helpful, especially those in the pharmacy! On occasion for things from the store as opposed to from the pharmacy I have used other area CVS stores: Bellport Village, West Patchogue, Bayport (or is that blue point) and rare occasions Sayville. I’ve never had reason to complain about any of them!

5 points CVS Santa Barbara. I have had a couple of problems getting medications from you. The latest one that had been phoned in to this pharmacy from my doctor. Most recent was from the Cottage ER, Dr Anderson early in the morning 5/14,2023. It was for prednisone and a Zpak. I went home and went on the CVS app and it stated that it was being processed. So I waited all day and never received notification of my medication being ready. You are now closed. Now I need to wait until the morning and just hope it’s ready. I may need to go back to the ER as I have human Metapneumovirus and am starting to have extreme wheezing again since the Prednisone they gave me in the ER wore off. A few months ago I was late picking up blood pressure medication due to a death out of town and was told it was put back and I would need to get a new prescription. Didn’t even get a smile from your employee as she brushed me off. I switched all of my medications to a more trustworthy and dependable pharmacy. That worked great until Sunday morning when the ER had you guys on file. I had hoped you would have gotten it together a little better by now. Please fill the prescription my doctor phoned in, I need it to stay out of the hospital. Mary Troutman

Handy App. I love this App…….it’s very handy to check prescriptions, when the next refill is and if you need to remind your doctor to call your refill in. You can also see the weekly paper and purchase items and someone will have them ready for you, you can also check your CBS Extra Bucks and see all available coupons you can use. The pharmacy stays busy and this way you don’t necessarily have to call them when they are all working hard to fill prescriptions, take orders from ppl’s doctors and stock prescriptions as they come in. The only thing is that the app is a little slow at times but all-in-all I’d highly recommend this App. And, also want to give a big shout out to the wonderful service in the CVS in Rockwell, NC……always so nice, helpful and get the orders filled very quickly for you. *(The recording on the phone is a different matter and it’s TOO many Yes or No’s to get to the Pharmacy and if you’re in a hurry getting to the pharmacy then forget it bc the responses to get to the pharmacy is ridiculous. Their should be a number to push if you just want to speak with the pharmacy without having to jump through hoops to get there……the app makes things so much easier.)

Poor quality between app and actual store. Many times when I use the app to fill my prescriptions, I get the non-stop annoying daily voicemails reminding me to pick up my prescriptions. So much that I actually block the number. I ordered my refills on the app and when I get to the store they say they don’t have it. Despite my numerous daily robo calls that I have prescriptions are ready for pick up. Every time the store says “we are having problems with our app”. So that actually negates the purpose of the app! I ordered 3 refills, they had 1 refilled and another auto filled, when it was just filled last month for quantity 90. So why if it’s an auto refill would they refill a prescription that was just filled last month for 90 pills! I have tried to opt out of my phone number calling me .. harassing me I should say. You app needs a lot of work. Your incessant calls need to stop. Unfortunately I cannot change to another pharmacy because CVS Is the one authorized primarily by my insurance. It really leaves a bad taste in my mouth and a headache when I have to get my prescriptions refilled because there is always something wrong between the app and the store. So I guess I will just keep blocking your number for the robo calls

CVS - Customers (are) Very Satisfied. The online system is very efficient and effective. Prices and rewards are super awesome! They have almost everything in the store. The manager at the 3020 Sepulveda Blvd I forgot his name -he’s a young African American gentleman. He happened to be at the store when I was looking for a help to open the locked where they keep Tylenol and other Antihistamine pills inside the fiberglass cabinet. I didn’t even know that he’s the manager because he was going around isle per isle and tidying the store. He’s very professional, friendly and very helpful. Two thumbs up for him! Over all CVS store in Sepulveda Blvd Torrance CA is probably one of the best -even though most CVS stores are good. I also trust and comfortable with the pharmacy staff. Most of my family and friends are CVS customers because I recommended CVS to all my friends, clients and family members. There’s only one thing that I wanted to comment on, is the extra Rewards bucks that customers get after we paid our items at the checkout-a long receipt with bunch of coupons and $bucks rewards but it expires within 5 days. It would be great if the expiration date is at least a month. It’s just a thought. Thank you CVS! Kind regards, Luchie Eslao

Live Store Inventory and pricing. Comment on Pharmacy…. It sure would be great to receive a text message if your prescription may be delayed or on back order or the price has changed. It sure would be of great value to be able to access live “your store” inventory and pricing to create a true shopping list with actual true off the shelf pricing. Also please bring back more BOGO (buy-one-get-one-free) rather than buy 3 and get one free or save $1 etc. when you purchase 5 of the same item. Also remove limits on quantity purchased. And please for diabetics please create a designated section for Sugar-Free or No-Sugar-Added Items and increase inventory especially diet and caffeine-free soft drinks. And please increase all store inventory it is very frustrating when the sale says buy 2 and get one free and there is only one on the self. Please lower pricing on clearance items. One last note… please add a clinic to the Kings Highway Fort Pierce, FL store. On a positive note, the Port Saint Lucie, Saint Lucie West Store is beautiful! So clean and well organized and the clinic is a big plus! It was so nice I didn’t even think I was in a CVS. Very impressed!

Shipping drugs is not working correctly. The last two times I have paid for a prescription and then have it delivered to me, it has gone terribly wrong. And, the pharmacy staff (Alicia the pharmacy tech)won’t listen and is rude! Last Tuesday I had 6 drugs delivered. On Sunday I was notified that they were returning the drugs to stock because I had not picked them up. The staff person argued with me even though I had them. Finally, they agree I had them. They then had to recharge my credit card (because the original charge fell off my card) and they delivered the receipt again and woke me up. Today, the app said it would be delivered between 10:30 and 3, and it was not. When I called and got Alicia, she said it was the delivery companies fault, but once I got off the phone I got an email from CVS that it was being delivered…obviously, something had not processed until she looked at the order again. The Shipt person said they only got the request late in the afternoon. When I called back to explain the issue, Alicia was rude (which she normally is…I hate getting her, she is just mean). I tried to explain the situation and explain the system is having an issue, she was not helpful. I just hung up. It takes multiple calls EVERYTIME to get my prescriptions!

Keeps getting better. Cvs has nailed it with this app & continues to with updates. The CVS Pharmacy app provides customers with easy to use, detailed information based on their prescription history. The pharmacy portion allows you to make several different options with any prescription you have on file. You can fill from a detailed list, you can archive and remove medications into another part of your medical history, you can even scan your bottle to refill a prescription, chose pick up location & while your waiting? Go ahead and make sure your ExtraCare card is associated with the sign in information used to access your pharmacy information. Look through a variety of weekly coupons & deals, coupons specifically catered to you as well as Sunday coupons. Yes! Manufacturers coupons found in the Sunday paper that we all clip for savings, is now available paper free, through the Cvs app. You can now click and simply send to your card manufacturers coupons that can be applied in addition to your personalized extra care coupons to maximize your savings. Can it get even better? YES!! You can send all of your extra bucks you earn directly to your card, no more worries about throwing away those precious extra bucks! whether it be for a specific item, weekly deal, beauty extrabucks or pharmacy extrabucks- all acquired earnings can be digitally applied 😀

Great app but missing a few things. Love the app because I can lookup prescriptions and they are filled accordingly. It’s easy to navigate. I wish it had an option to cancel a prescription to be filled if not needed anymore (like a competitor’s app does) instead of having to call the pharmacy and letting the pharmacists know. I work banker’s hours and usually do not have an opportunity to call the pharmacy that me and my family use. Also, when my daughter turned 18, her information was taken off my app account without any notice. I don’t even have access to anything for her. I should have been notified at least by an email that this was going to happen. My son is disabled so I take care of his prescriptions. What happens when he turns 18? I will have no access to his prescriptions and will not be able to assist him with prescriptions? While I do know there is a way access to my daughter’s CVS account, the way for my daughter to allow me access NEVER works so I end up having to get her login information when/if she needs some assistance with her prescriptions. Very frustrating but otherwise think the app is good.

Best App EVER! Thanks CVS. After a bad car accident over 5 years ago, I have found myself requiring pain management for the rest of my life. In needing this, I had to choose ONE exact pharmacy location to fill all of my prescriptions. Not only do I love my CVS location and all of the staff, I started using the app right away. I already had an Extra Care card, and used it for coupons and discounts. I’ve loved this app from the start, and thanks to developer updates on a regular basis, it has only gotten better! I would give more than 5 stars if I could. The app platform is excellent and user friendly. It’s amazing how much you can do with the app!! I’m now in the top 1% of Extra Care money savers in the nation, and I can refill, scan, and check prescription status right in the app for myself and my family. All of my coupons are right there - one click to “send to card” in the app and the discount will be applied at checkout. The more I shop in-store for things I need, the more customized coupons I get! I also love that you can open a barcode to scan for prescription pickup so that you don’t have to say ANY personal info out loud! It tracks and archives everything. I cannot say enough about how much this app has changed my in-store and pharmacy experiences for the better. Thanks developers for a beautifully designed app! One VERY grateful and impressed customer here!

Continues to need work, have issues!!. Especially needs a lot of work on "Order History" under account!!! Very unclear & misleading/deceiving; doesn't break down orders into shipments, the shipment amount, shipment date, expected arrival, which items are in which shipment, etc. For example, ordered 12 items, received 2. 3 days after ordering & no further info on the other items whatsoever, none, as to when or if the other items will ship. The way it appears on the app, all items shipped & fully charged. Specifically says "For faster delivery, we split your order into 1 shipment." Yep, we've received 1 shipment..of 2 items so far. Even logged into their website, same thing, same issues. Frustrating. Some items from orders can often ship very late, no where near 2-3 days, so you do not receive on time, & worse, CVS doesn't notify you of these delays nor shipping info for these late items, until you have to contact them of course. They just appear at your door whenever CVS decides to ship, & sit there until you find it. We've also had a few orders in the past where we haven't received ALL of our items, yet was charged, so we have to monitor CVS orders very closely, unfortunately.

Scripts. I had a 6 scripts to be filled my Dr sent them in at 2:40 at 3:30 I received a text saying my scripts were done I went on the CVS App to confirm to see one of my scripts still in Process I then called and was told a half hr for one out of my 5 which didn’t make sense as 5 were already filled this is in going issue with CVS Pharmacy techs are rude and inconsiderate. This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues with the staff. Last time I picked up my prescriptions. One of the pharmacy techs was closing the window with a message saying due to staff you have to go in and I said hello I’m here can I just get mine she said I see you. I understand that there, overworked and understaff I myself at work for pharmacy and in the health industry however, you don’t speak to people that way in generally, I don’t mind having to wait, but in this case, I have an antibiotic that I would like to start I should not have to wait a half hour for one more prescription due to all of these issues I really am thinking about going to another pharmacy and family and friends. I’ve said they’ve had the same issue with the CVS so either you need to get more staff or teach your pharmacy staff, how to be compassionate, understanding, and empathetic to customers.

Keeps getting better & better. The CVS app started out “meh!”, but has steadily gotten better. I really like that I can do almost everything from my phone: order Rxs, check on status, manage both my and my wife’s meds, show unique number so I don’t have to yell out my name from my car at the drive-thru, able to use it to pay at register when checking out, having coupons that are automatically applied when I use the app for checking out. There’s a lot to like. I wish it automatically put all my coupons onto my phone instead of me having to remember to do it myself. My biggest pet peeve is that I can’t leave messages to pharmacy personnel. Sometimes I just have a quick question to ask, or I have to explain something to someone and don’t want to go thru all the prompts and wait 5 minutes to talk to someone in the pharmacy. It’s a waste of my time, and I feel for them because they’re always so busy. It would make all of our lives better if I could leave a voice mail for a call back, or even better, an email or text. If they could do both of those things, this app would be worth a 5-star rating.

Unhappy. Very unhappy with the cvs app. I send their cvs coupons and when I go and pay for the items, coupons do not pull up on the cashiers screen and nothing can be done on their end so you lose the savings. I call the cvs 1800 number and I have to call 2 days later and it takes them another 3 days to give you the credit. Months ago they added manufacturer coupons to the app and when I send them to the card and go make a purchase at the store , most of them do not go through . The cashier says they are having problems with the coupons not showing up on their end and therefore no coupons work. I call the 1800 number for cvs and they have no clue how it works either. They tell me I need to call the company from the coupons that didn’t go through myself. They don’t know the numbers to them either. After cvs adds all these coupons for the customers convenience to use, they make it hard on us with them not working. Then when I call they are no help . Cvs needs to fix the problem . If manufacturers coupons were added to the cvs app, cvs should fix them and not tell you to call the other company. I don’t want to go through the trouble of calling all these different companies because my coupons sent to the card do not work

Having Trouble with App... AGAIN. I hoped this would be a good app. I got it to have my prescriptions sent to me. But, the technological "geniuses" at CVS keep bumping me off the "send out meds" list . Everytime I think one of the nice pharmacy staff members has fixed the problem for me, some IT person gets involved and I end up having to pick up my meds...or having to explain AGAIN that I pay monthly to have my medication sent to me...and the pharmacy staff shouldn't have to fix the problems that the tech people create. This is insanity. And it's aggravation. I don't need the aggravation. Stress makes my medical situation worse. Pharmacy's with apps should be making sure these apps work for the health of their clients. It's the ethical thing to do...and I shouldn't have to keep on repeating myself, ad nauseam to corporate people at CVS. It's clear they care more about selling overpriced crap which has little to do with healthcare, than they do with sending medicine to people who have medical issues...and who pay monthly for this service. I'm very disappointed with this app and the people who designed it to bump me off the "send out meds" list. I wouldn't have gotten this app for any other reason, to be perfectly honest. One star. It's not working...and I keep having to write emails to CVS...and this is not the fault of the overwhelmed, understaffed local employees of my neighborhood CVS. This is technological chaos.

Won’t let you deliver your other meds if their is a message for you. If there is any kind of message that the pharmacy is giving you which could be there for 2 weeks without you being able to clear it about one med it blocks you from being able to get all of your other meds that actually are ready delivered to your home - it happens to me most of the time since my family has so many meds so then I have to call the pharmacy to get the message cleared which is the most annoying process since it takes you 15 minutes just to get through all the annoying automatic robotic questions that are so annoying to get past just to finally reach someone in the pharmacy just to clear the message even though I already knew it or there’s a delay even though I know that too- please fix it so we have the ability to read and clear messages so we can get our other important meds that are actually are ready to be delivered actually delivered- otherwise the app is great- thanks

Annoyed and Frustrated. I have been going to CVS since I was a young child with my parents. A few months ago I decided to buy my own CVS Care Pass now that I am an adult. The app is so glitchy. On a almost dailu basis I get really good coupons in the form of a notification. It will be either $5 off your purchase or 40% off your purchase, tap to send to your cvs card. When I press it the app begins to start and then crashes. I restart it and NEVER get the good coupon. To add to my frustration, I wanted to add my prescriptions off of my parent's account to my own and the manager of the CVS had informed me he added it to mine. He neglected to tell me the prescriptions were still under my mother's name and my entire family was now on my account!! I had saved up a $5 coupon by picking up my prescriptions and my parents used it due to his own mistake. They told me to call the CVS customer care line, because the manager of that store messed up my account. I am beyond frustrated. Why is is such an issue for a young adult to have their own CVS card and transfer their own prescriptions to their account? Surely this is something that happens quite often. I wish there was a way to fix my account and the app. I am considering switcing to Walgreen's at this point, once my yearly Care Pass expires. UGH!!

Functional but needs improvement. The app works well in general but it is slow to load, and the server seems to be down often. Adding the ability to include RX’s for family members exists but is clunky, and requires you to actually fill RX for that person BEFORE you can use the app for that person for anything related to their RX. If a doctor electronically sends a RX over electronically for a 30 day supply with 2 refills for a RX you have had filled at CVS in the past from the same doctor but your prior RX’s have all been filled (3 months worth have been filled) so your doctor sends over the new set of 3 months but does so PRIOR to you picking up #3 of 3 from the prior set then the app does NOT allow you to fill from the app. You are REQUIRED to call the pharmacy to get them to initiate the 1st of the three from this next set of RX’s. Hardly convenient. Especially when you get the more often than not ‘miserable, why are you bothering me because you know as a pharmacist I’m busy and prefer to not actually have to talk to people attitude’ even though you are calling because the app doesn’t allow this and requires you to call the pharmacist to initiate the round of RX’s. How about some updates and improvements to functionality offered?

Wow. Just awful.. I am writing for my 85 yr old mother. During the past few weeks, she has had so much trouble ordering her prescriptions from CVS. Although I set up her Rxs on the app, it is not “senior friendly” at all. Heck it’s not even friendly to me, and I happen to be very tech savvy. This app is awful. I recommend doing anything you need to do on their website. DO NOT USE THE APP unless you want your blood pressure to go up. I had to take over her account because she actually has high blood pressure, and was so stressed when she used the app that it would go up 15 pts! That’s horrible for a healthcare pharmacy. I know you guys can do better. To top it all off, there’s a pandemic going on, which adds even more stress to our elderly. My mother and I both tried numerous times to contact the pharmacy, to no avail. I was on hold for over an hour. I finally spoke with an associate, who I thought had straightened everything out. He didn’t. Needless to say, after a week of trying to get her Rxs in order, it still hasn’t happened, and she is still without her prescriptions. Just appalling. Time to change her 5 medications to a different pharmacy I guess. Say goodbye to $350 a month of out of pocket purchases CVS!

Not enough help And not getting the prescriptions correct amounts. There’s not enough people helping the pharmacist it’s a little pharmacy and a big town and it’s like they’re overwhelmed with prescriptions. Last month I had to keep my bottle of Clonopin because they didn’t give me The correct amount , so I had to bring it The bottle with the prescription on it to the pharmacy because the doctor changes it and someone is not reading his notes correctly I don’t know? The amounts on the bottle should be correct all the time and you shouldn’t have to prove yourself by taking in the previous bottle. Read the doctors notes and do some multiplying that’s not too hard to do!!! And the wait time stinks!!!! There’s always a problem with the app!! The pharmacy needs extra help. Over Fourth of July weekend I was in the hospital three times to figure out what was wrong with me. The pharmacy did not have my medication (my husband went to pick up my medication, and the pharmacy did not have it) Then the pharmacy was closed for Fourth of July the fifth day I was in the emergency room seizing and going through severe shakes from not having my medication (Clonazepam). You’re going to lose a good customer.

Best CVS PHARMACY CHARLOTTE STREET POTTSTOWN. The pharmacist is very knowledgeable and friendly.. If there is ever a problem with my Doctor or insurance issues, the staff will call discuss with the pharmacist and somehow they get it taken care off. The employees at the store are very helpful and always tell me when there is a Coupon available or tell me a better deal. So grateful for their help. If you plan ahead and load all you coupons and bring your paper coupons you can really get great deals and even get Extra Bucks to use on your next visit. I joined Carepass, it’s a no brained. You pay $5 per month and get a $10 extra buck to use on your next purchase. I love CVS !!!! It’s a win win shopping experience. And when you join Carepass you get free same day delivery and 25% off any CVS Product. In today world everything is so expensive especially things you need to buy from a pharmacy store.. If you are not a CVS member, you need to transfer all your prescriptions and Join CarePass. The CVS APP is so easy to use, very Straightforward. And if you have any questions or are confused about anything all the Staff are very knowledgeable and will take the time to help you understand..

One App That Genuinely Makes Life Easier….. And sadly that’s not something I generally find myself saying, & if so 100% meaning it; but this is def one of the exceptions! It gives you the capability to manage your entire family’s medications etc., cvs shopping online &/or in store pickup, ability to request Covid hometests with a few finger taps & then it comes right to your door, manage your card/store membership & rewards, much easier etc for monitoring your ExtraBucks & personally i think since the apps been out it’s made earning ExtraBucks happen much faster & earning much more than before; also you can schedule/reschedule/& much more Appts for the Minute Clinic- even to request or schedule a video call/appt, & give you instant access to your medical records; as well as Covid vaccination documentation & documentation for any & all Other vaccinations you’ve had…..ALSO allows you to submit prescriptions/refills in 2 seconds from phone & you can have your prescriptions filled & sent directly to your door on the app w/ a few taps as well! I know I didn’t touch on literally every great aspect of it but there’s MANY examples. It’s definitely extremely convenient & helpful etc.

How is this app so terrible. I work in digital marketing, specifically in apps, so I have evaluated a lot of app UX over the years, and this one was shockingly bad. Today was my first time downloading and attempting to use this app but it is 100% unusable. I tried to create an account using the license scan feature but it only takes the photo once it recognizes the card, so it took a good 10 minutes of wandering around the house trying different backgrounds and lighting to get that to work. I get an account created & linked up with my care pass (approx 15 min into the app) and I go to check on a refill that is at a weird status, but there is nothing to reference what that status means. So I try to look around the app for my answer and anything I click on requires me to log in again but doesn’t accept the password that I wrote down and also saved in my iPhone. Both attempts don’t work. So I go back to try to find the phone number for the store for my RX and the app crashes and gives me: “An error has occurred trying to contact the server. Please try again later.” This was during normal business hours. Literally everything I tried to do in this app didn’t work. CVS is a big company and rx is kind of important so I’m baffled at how this app is so awful. If anyone from CVS corporate reads this - please hire another company to run your app.

The app has problems and freezes when using for Rx;. Using the app is frustrating. It’s unreliable, freezes the CVS pharmacy computer during the checkout process, takes so much time to load, and often requires doing checkout the old fashioned way, verbally sharing private information. Also, for coupons and rewards, it doesn’t make sense why customers have to click on every coupon to “send to card.” It’s hard enough trying to earn rewards. The time it takes to compare offers and make sure the criteria are met to earn rewards is not worth the effort. Even with the savings, the prices are still too high at CVS. Walmart has lower prices. And the coupons you get in the mail or via email expire too quickly. They never seem to be available when you need them. Rewards expire as well. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because I can view prescription details on the app which has been handy when I’m at the doctors office or completing medical forms. Also I can refill Rx on the app, however I tend to refill via text messages where I get text reminders. The text reminders aren’t 100% reliable but it helps to have occasional reminders. Please fix the bugs for the pharmacy checkout and send all coupons and rewards directly to the card.

CVS app & CarePass have MADE ME money. -This app is so user friendly. Simple. Easy to navigate. I literally take 5 minutes in my car before going into CVS to search and add extra care bucks and coupons for what I’m going there for to my card. And if I add a couple extra items I scan them in the store and ALL applicable coupons automatically populate for me! This 5 minutes and awesome company’s savings app saves me tons of money every single transaction. At LEAST 15-20% off my total almost every time. I can easily see and push “+” for all my extra care bucks, coupons, and mailer discounts in one place! - The CarePass is only $25 a YEAR. I made my money back in 2.5 months by doing nothing bc every single month I get $10 promo reward. In addition to 20% of ALL cvs brand products, I mean it’s a no brainer. It’s only February and I’ve already saved $237 dollars YTD. I don’t work for CVS, I just have a lot of other apps from stores like Publix and target and their membership savings program and apps are crap, not user friendly at all, confusing and frustrating. Not worth spending time to get coupons to get $1.00 in savings for spending $100+.

It’s not really about the app. I find the app to work fine but going to the actual CVS store is different. For months you were only allowed to use self check out. The employees spent plenty of time helping people at each terminal. I understand that their had to be a method to the madness but I dislike it anyway. today I purchased two items at the self check out. I’ve had to do this many times before for myself or my husband. I followed the prompts and when it got to the end of the sale, my 40% off coupon was not used and I did not get a receipt!!! I pushed the help button when I realized things were going wrong. I had to wait and the terminal went on to the next sale. The CVS employee told me that I had not put my phone number in when the terminal asked for it. I feel like I did because I was prompted to. If I made the mistake or not I did not get my 40% off. He basically told me there was nothing he could do. if he would have waited on me to begin with this would not have happened. I think the self check out should be an option not a requirement. T. Mathews

App has been horrible lately. My prescriptions don’t all show up on app. Refill process rarely works and text messages aren’t accurate. One pharmacist especially questions my prescriptions and the use of them. Missing medications and condescending pharmacist at my location. Inaccurate information given by pharmacist on quantities dispensed and / or when. (I keep proof) Have to order refills a few days ahead of time because 2 of my medications you are almost always out of. Then pharmacist/ app tells me it’s to early to refill. Then comes the lecture from the pharmacist about what I’m taking. I’m very closely monitored by GP, psychiatrist and therapists ans they all talk. I’m tired of app not working right and pharmacist treating me like if I was a drug addict. I’m 53 and just spent a week in the hospital for liver damage caused by Tylenol taken over a few days while I had the flu. I’m calling tomorrow to find out where the missing one time prescription went to. I’m still in strong pain and need it filled by Saturday and if I get condescending responses to missing prescription or getting refills, I will be switching pharmacies immediately. Fix your app and tell your pharmacist (one in particular) she needs a refresher course on common courtesy and empathy. I wish I didn’t have to take any meds but I do. The least they could do is fo be kind and either fix the app or go back to the old ways of doing things.

Each update takes a step backwards. Isn't the point of using an app to make an experience easy and save time? Well your app gets farther away from that with each update and here’s why: 1. I’ve been receiving texts but with this update it shows text alerts turned off. I tried to turn it on but after entering my mobile # and confirming it and making a selection for type of messages it will not allow me to save. Very frustrating as I have attempted multiple times. 2. There used to be an option for sharing prescription information for family members tied to same care pass. I received texts if Amy family member had a prescription ready. That is no longer available. This often causes multiple trips to the pharmacy. 3. The express pickup option is useless. Every time I use it in advance I still have to give the drive in associate the same information for the prescription and wait for them to pull it and most of the time give them the payment card again. 4. Please consider having all deals automatically default to the care pass card or at least provide an option for “send all to card”. It is time consuming to run through 150 coupons and select send one at a time.

Improvements to website. Please schedule prescription refills once or twice a month instead on different scripts on different days. I get 15 routine refills every 90 days and when they are on so many different days it is frustrating. I wait until I have 4 or 5 refills since I pick them up at the drive through. It would be perfect if there was a way to leave a message when ordering refills. I have two that are ordered for 90 days but I can only get one month at a time. I want to be able to send a message to fill those monthly refills since they are not automatically filled. I know there are so many calls to pharmacists and it seems that would be easier for them and me. I wonder why I have so many messages to call pharmacist for a refill when they are scheduled for refill. Again, a place to message pharmacist would be so much better especially when I think about it after hours. I also have one script that I don't need refilling and would like to leave message to cancel prescription for that one refill time. Why are so many of my prescription refills not in stock when they are due for refills? This is happening quite often lately. I don't understand why ready refills are out of stock? I have frequently asked for these suggestions and nothing changes. Thanks for reading my suggestions for better service.

New CVS App. I attempted to order 3 prescriptions on the CVS website this morning. I could not locate a simple complete list of my of all my current prescriptions from which to indicate the prescriptions I needed to refill. I found lots of pages explaining medications, frequency of use, but not a check off box to indicate that I needed it. The website is now so convoluted and confusing that I have given up and will need to call in my prescriptions. I believe that I am probably one of many who will need to do this, so I am quite certain that the phones lines will be completely jammed up everyday until they can simplify the website. I’m certain the IT people responsible for this update can easily find whatever they are looking for because they created this mess. But, please review this app update from the user’s perspective. Also, I have always relied on using my list of prescriptions on the old (and easy to use) CVS website each time I was required to give my doctor(s) a list of all my prescriptions. Now, I can’t find it to even place an order. I tried to order 3 prescriptions, but was only able to order 1. I have no idea how I got the one to go through and not the others. I’m not even sure if the 1 is ordered. This was a nightmare and it definitely needs a lot of work to make it user friendly.

CVS App. I love the CVS app because I can take my time shopping online even if I’m going to pick it up at the store or I can go ahead and complete my order online which ever I prefer With being a senior citizen that is disabled, and sometimes I can walk in sometimes I cannot walk for example. Today’s a bad day and I’m barely able to walk to the kitchen or the bathroom and Some days I can walk a block. Hopefully after all of my surgeries I’ll be able to walk everyday So the convenience is so so important to me and I’m sure it is the rest of the people that are in the situation or those are just too busy with jobs etc. convenience is the way to go :-) I also have a hard time remembering my rewards how much I have on them, and how to use the extra bucks and all stuff. The CVS app has links on. The products that you can click on that is included in your. Rewards and discounts and sale items. All that stuff it helps me figure it out. Well, not really it doesn’t figure for me. I absolutely love the app Sincerely grateful Susan Laudenslager Stafford Va

Terrible Buggy, unnecessarily cumbersome. They payment feature never works and the people in the store don't have a clue what to do. It’s nearly impossible to figure out how to change your form of payment when your credit card expires except during a check out. Naturally I don’t want to hold everyone up so I wait to do it afterwords and you can’t find on the app where to do this. All the special offers and coupons should automatically be added to your card which they aren’t. This is an unnecessary process to have to go through. Adding this to my earlier review. Why can’t all of the coupons automatically load onto my care card. It’s so such a complete utter waste of time especially when I’m standing at checkout trying to go through them so I never get to add them until it’s too late. I don’t have time to plan my shopping experience at CVS I kind of go there cause I have to because my insurance company I would never go to that store the way that I make this so difficult. It also stinks that half of the things get printed on the receipt which I don’t want to save why should I have to save it if I have it app? What do you think they could add a setting where everything automatically gets added to your cart and not print it out on the receipt and that you don’t have to review it all? This has the potential to be a very good useful up and it’s just way too cumbersome and not worth the effort

CVS and Caremark Review. I’ve recently transferred my prescriptions to CVS and I will say it has truly changed my life as a completely dependent disabled bed ridden individual. The patience I receive from each team member is absolutely amazing. There hasn’t been one situation that hasn’t been figured out to my benefit and to ensure I always have my meds. Im still astonished that I’ve never received bad customer service even once from the 6-8 employees working in the pharmacy. Im so impressed. CVS as a store also has many good perks about them as well. When needing assistance finding things they’re very helpful and considerate. The rewards bucks come quite frequently to my app and it really helps when u are on a tight, strict budget. Thank u CVS for thinking of the many people out there whom meet daily challenges and just need that one person to be kind and considerate. It goes a very long way. I hope others, like me, find the amazing satisfaction I have and for those who have not had a chance to glorify CVS, check them out I know they’re won’t be any disappointment

CVS App. Good app but needs tweaking and updating. I have a number of prescriptions, some of which have changed or been discontinued. There is no way on the CVS app to stop discontinued prescriptions without calling a store to talk to pharmacy staff. The refill reminders are convenient. However, I have two prescriptions that are irregular in taking the meds. One is to be taken after I have a severe seizure, which appears well controlled. Another prescription is to be taken for moderate to severe nausea and vomiting which is a relatively rare event now. However, CVS and the app keep reminding me ti refill these rarely used medications when I have a good supply on hand. Every time I use the app it asks if I want to refill these meds. It also tells me to call the prescribing doctor if a prescription expires: annoying when we have discontinued that medication. The nuisance of the app for discontinued prescriptions or for inconsistently used medications keeps the rating from being higher. I also do not like the non-medicine shopping components in the app. This app is helpful but could be better with some tweaks to prevent repetitively dealing with the same nuisance issues.

Programmed to lie. Consistently this app has provided me incorrect information about when my prescriptions will be filled. I understand that CVS does other things, but it’s ridiculous that the pharmacy app cannot give me accurate information from or about the pharmacy. The app lies to me about state level regulations affecting my Rx. When I called the pharmacy, they confirmed for me that the app is programmed to lie because they have shortages that they don’t want to admit, and the only way for me to get good information is to call the pharmacy. Unfortunately, she also informed me that, because there’s an app now, CVS keeping less staff. I had to wait on hold for over half an hour for that information and still didn’t receive any information about my prescription. I can’t help but wonder if such a misrepresentation is actually illegal. On top of misleading consumers about the law, the app is so obviously designed by people who want to frustrate customers to the benefit of the corporation. For example, the only prescription that shows up in the UI is a months old prescription I had filled somewhere else because CVS told me they couldn’t. Meanwhile, my current prescriptions are buried and require several clicks to find. That alone would be confusing, but then the information I find is not accurate. If I could demand money back for a free app, it would be this one.

Life saving app!. This app is a life saver! So easy to use and can complete many tasks at the ease of your fingers tips from home. You can refill all your prescriptions, request refills, ask questions, add family members prescriptions and care, shop, plus much more! I normally do not leave any kind of reviews but this app deserves a high rating and review. I use it almost daily and has greatly improved the quality of my life by making things so much easier and confident for me. Gone are the days of constantly questions what prescriptions I need to get filled as it tells me what’s coming up, what’s date I filled prescriptions on , what date I have upcoming prescriptions due, and will also contact my providers for prescriptions that I need refills on and do not have any written for. CVS has truly made things convenient, easy, hassle free, and you will take a sigh of relief once you get this app for yourself. I guarantee it. Also, with this app you can get all these prescriptions delivered conveniently to your door without leaving your house! Never having to go to the store again if you do not wish. If that’s not another plus, I don’t know what it. So do yourself a favor and download this. You won’t regret it.

Prescriptions on app for delivery with FSA Card. It would be wonderful to be able to place my own prescription delivery on the CVS App as the automated system advertised, once my prescriptions ready and to be able to use my FSA CArd for payment instead of my debit card. The app allows you to chose your payment method , then when choosing the FSA card , the system ask for the CVV, when you enter , it gives a error, and you can’t proceed, or you have to use a different payment method. This has been going on for months, and it’s very inconvenient, because I have to call the pharmacy everytime to enter for delivery, and use my payment method on file being the FSA card. As if they don’t have enough to do already. They are busy and this is something I can do , but the app doesn’t allow it, it shouldn’t be asking for the CVV, that seems to be the issue and it should process the FSA Like a regular credit card to proceed not like a debit, The pharmacist doesn’t seem to even be aware of this issue. My wish is that , this gets fixed , we are in a pandemic and people need the most convenient way to get there prescriptions and pay for them. Thanks in advance. Please fix this ongoing technical issue.

CVS on Neptune Avenue must get an overhaul NOW. The pharmacy is located in a new complex and is a nice size store. It is usually not well stocked and not tidy. The worst is the customer service both in store and even worse over the phone. In the store after waiting on long long lines they send you from one side of the store to wait on another line. The horrendous and unsafe practice for a pharmacy not to pick up the phone lines and/or disconnecting the caller has spiraled out of hand!! One can call for days in a row (I experienced this multiple times and most recently over a period of 4 days) and the phone doesn’t get answered. Rings and rings and rings and after 20-30 minutes the system disconnects you. I was trying to arrange for my medication to be delivered as I’m on my own and couldn’t get to the pharmacy. To no avail. 4 days later I hit the prompt for “doctors.” The individual who answered the phone was so rude. I asked if there is something wrong w the phone lines as I’m calling all week. She replied “We are very busy here, get to your point.” Not unusual to get attitude from the CVS Neptune ave staff. Doctors offices don’t have much better experience. They don’t take their calls but keep sending automated messages via the cvs system and then state that the doctors office just isn’t responding. My neighbors and I have experienced this several times. Some neighbors won’t use this pharmacy anymore and I’m close to doing the same. Big box store that needs a major shakeup!!

Horrible since iOS 14. I paid $50 to get the $10/month & it while it was on my card, it wouldn’t apply to my purchase. They email me coupons & I don’t know why!!!! I go to send them to my card & get a “ooops something went wrong. Try later” & I get that message EVERY SINGLE TIME!! I tried to uninstall & reinstall but now “technical difficulties” won’t let me sign in. I call & on the one time someone actually answered, it was a moron who was only able to parrot a few words she’d been taught “uninstall/reinstall app”, “make sure your account matches” “have you tried turning your phone off & on” “I’m a pretty bird squawk squawk I don’t know squawk” A parrot would have been more useful especially when I told this woman what I’d done before she gave me the parroted answers “Why not send me to someone who knows what they’re doing?? Why not stop wasting MY TIME if all they can do is squawk what they’ve been told before saying “I don’t know. Have you talked to someone at the store?”🙄 I couldn’t help but think “did this idiot just ask me the dumbest question anyone could ask? That’s like calling Apple with a question about your phone. They have all the info identifying it as an iPhone & ask “are you sure it’s an iPhone”. That’s not ever happened with Apple but that’s how stupid the question was & I ended up with a we’ll give you a 20% off coupon to use by tomorrow since we can’t give you the $20 we stole from you. They’re useless.

Easy to access and navigate.. I am very impressed with the coupon format. Adding them to my card eliminates the need to carry paper coupons. Well done!

Can’t prepay. App is still not working for prepaid pickup. This is unacceptable during a pandemic. Neither of my payment cards works (FSA or regular credit card). It tells me either incorrect CVV or “there was a problem on our side”. Been like this for months. FIX IT!

Great App. Works great, need to use more to give better review.

Save A Lot!. Love the savings! Wanted to give it 5 stars, but the 4 stars represent the fact you aren’t able to ‘Load all Offers’ and have to take a significant amount of time to select ‘send to card’; frustrating!

Passport/Wallet. It would be nice to be able to have the option to put the electronic care card in our iPhone wallets.

PERFECT.. seem less experience. PERFECT.. seem less experience. Loved the native m commerce part!

Something Missing. One of the few such apps which doesn't allow adding card to Apple Wallet for quick access

Great discounts weekly. They put money on my card just for using their app plus you get 2% cash back with everything you spend

Love it!. I use the coupons and special advertised all the time

Love it!. Great app, easy to use.

Bad really bad. Super frustrating trying to load my card info to pay with my phone. Wont tell me what the problem is, that tells me to get out of the app and reload which doesn’t work

No support whatsoever from cvs in order to get our COVID-19 results. Sorry but you let us down!. Bad app

Impossible to get a receipt. It is virtually impossible to get a receipt of a telemedicine consultation

No Wallet Support. Downloaded this app to simply allow me to throw out the cvs card. Space is limited on my device so I didn't intend to keep the app, just the card in the Apple Wallet. Happily upgrade my review once the feature is added.

The photo upload piece needs work. Bulk upload must be done in batches if 4 or less or it crashes app. Not all locations are listed for photo pickup.

Truro eastend. Great

Fabulous app....just needs tweaking a bit. This is such a convenient way to keep up with my prescriptions and refills. The only reason I am not giving this app five stars is that two things need a bit of tweaking. 1. Please work out a way for the rewards and coupons to load to our card so that they are available when we shop. I become so frustrated when I run across my expired coupons for cash back as I clean out my purse or glove compartment knowing that I had just been to CVS during the correct time period to use them but I was not carrying that purse. It would be great if they could store on my card. 2. Please fix the shopping app so that the return arrows do not take you back to the home page every time you add to your cart or perhaps I should say move the arrows further apart so that the home arrow is not so close to the back arrow. There does not seem to be an easy way to return to the product page one had last shopped on. This is in the mobile app. Otherwise this is a great app!

The good and the bad. The good: For extra care users, it’s awesome to have all 100+ manufacturers’ coupons in one spot. I cross check with the virtual add and save like 75% every checkout. CVS pay, is also super fast. The person who gave it a negative review either didn’t understand how CVS pay works or wasn’t told. I bet ten bucks they got a gift card which is the ONlY thing that’s excluded. It’s an anti fraud measure. Entering the info into the app? You can take a pic of the card and it puts it in automatically. So, you forgot your card and tried to rush through a transaction, person. I’m not sympathetic. The bad: it is glitchy. A couple of times the app has frozen on me and/or I’ve had to uninstall/reinstall because of freezing. This has happened in both the CVS pay and the photo print sections. And even though I like the rest of the features, to have CVS pay freeze (it’s not a data issue. I have five bars in the store and it remains frozen when I leave the store) when I have three people behind me in line is enough to give it 3 stars.

Why can’t I see my insurance information on file?. This is extremely frustrating. I had an issue deactivating old insurance when I switched jobs, and even though I stood in line at CVS numerous times to ask them to remove the old insurance from my profile, it was never removed. So about 3/4 of my prescriptions were filled through the wrong insurance instead of my new insurance - I had to pay the old insurance company back for those medicines. When a prescription is run through the wrong insurance, it takes the CVS pharmacy team 20 minutes or more to just run it through the new insurance stored in my profile. It was absurd. Every time i had a prescription filled per my app, I couldnt tell which insurance they ran it through. So I’d have to call the store and wait on hold for a half hour, or I had to go in person, wait in line, and then if it was the wrong insurance, wait in the store for 20 minutes for them to fix if or come back later. PUT INSURANCE INFO (even just the company’s name!!) ON OUR PROFILES IN THE APP. It’s 2022 for god’s sake. Then the pharmacy team would get one less call which I guarantee they would love because every store is so understaffed.

Staff in Pharmacy Dept.. The staff in the pharmacy Dept never picks up the phone. I was on hold for 20 minutes and finally hung up. I called 10 minutes (11:30) later and asked if I could pick a script they were filling that day at 12:15. She said no problem it will be ready. I showed up at the drive thru at 12:25 and was told it will be 15 minutes more. I said I called and it was to be ready 12:15 . She said very nasty it’s not filled and will be ready in 15 minutes and shut the drive up window and walked away! The lady pharmacist that I talked to finally today was very helpful but the staff needs to learn some polite manners. I have been with CVS for over 20 years in Chicago and the best service, now I have moved to Indiana and it’s awful sarcastic people there. Not all of them but the two I talked to on Sunday the 11th at 12:30 and again today at 5:30. I finally insisted on taking to pharmacist and she banged the phone down. They need some customer service!

Robyn Rae. My CVS IS ALWAYS ON TOP OF THINGS BEFORE I SEE A RX IS DUE. Their attitudes are always pleasant, supportive and respectful. I have never had any difficulty with narcotics after my surgery and They always had my refill ready when they said they would. To be so busy as they are, I can understand why there are days when about to leave for lunch and they put up their sign saying when they will be back. They deserve their lunch hour. I shopped around while they had lunch and I suggest anyone who does not think employees should have a lunch hour….my suggestion is to go in before 11 am or after 3 pm. You will miss the lunch hour time altogether. No fuss. I have heard people be disrespectful as to why they even have a lunch hour and I was stunned. I am not one to argue or make comments and all I could think was to tell all standing waiting was “WELL, THEY EAT TO LIVE”, how do y’all do it! CVS PHARMACISTS ARE TO BE PROUD OF THEMSELF FOR HAVING ONE THE HIGHEST “No Mistake” PHARMACIES WE HAVE!! Thank you to all mine!

Sharon’s Cvs Review. I love shopping at CVS they always have all of my prescription medication‘s that I need there rarely ever out I have a medication that I need if they are out of one they get it in really quick I have never had to wait a whole day for a medication to get to the pharmacy for me to pick it up on one of my medication‘s there is a certain brand name manufacture that manufactures the pill that I have to have because the other generic manufacturer names do not work and CVS keeps that manufacture brand name pill that works in stock to fill my prescription for me and I appreciate that very much for them doing that for me that’s very sweet of them I love their delivery they are very nice polite courteous all their workers are ready to help you when you first step through the doors the employees light up my eyes whenever I walk through those doors to enter Cvs store….congratulations for a job well done by employees , managers, and vendors thanks to everyone for an awesome job 💙❤️

I LOVE CVS!!!. I switched from WalFart pharmacy because they were so rude. I have since gotten happier and happier with CVS! You can’t beat the deals and the rewards and they are always so pleasant to deal with, even when they are slammed or backed up or I have an issue with medication or the self checkout. The app is so easy to use and understand. I find myself playing with all the features for way too long! Thanks CVS in Front Royal, VA! You’re doing great! Edit: Front Royal CVS on John Marshall Hwy is amazing! However, that staff at CVS inside Front Royal Target are rude and not interested in being helpful. They have provided me with the worst customer service imaginable. The pharmacist/pharmacy manager is extremely immature. I am not going to change my review because of the outstanding staff at my favorite CVS and because I find the app so helpful. I also don’t mind saving money with the deals and rewards, don’t mind it at all ;) Please CVS, do something about that staff at the CVS nobody wants to visit.

Couponing for the average person. Cvs has successfully pulled me into their system hook line and sinker. First, their stores always have the best selection and always clean and well stocked bet second and MOST important the …..APPPPP. I am a person that thinks couponing is annoying and time consuming. Cvs is the ONLY place I not only coupon but look forward to looking at the app for deals before walking in to the store. Hate to admit it but I think I actually get a high when I get almost 50%. Off my total from just working extra bucks and deals on the app hahahaha. Literally my favorite thing to do. CVS YOUVE KILLED THE GAME!!! (Also, I never write reviews…..but I have so much fun using your system with the app and extra bucks I want it be documented how much I love it so it doesn’t everrrrr go away?!. Side note, I’m a hairstylist ….. and I gave met multiple die hard fans like myself❤️. (Single and I’m our early 30’s….for reference)

Unreliable. I’ve had mixed results with this app. While it’s easy enough to use, more often than not, I’ll show up at the pharmacy at the time the refill is promised only to find that my order never reached the store. This has happened to me even when the app shows that the refill is ready for pickup. This is really too bad and I don’t understand why the problem hasn’t been fixed by now. I have one prescription that requires me to speak to someone at the pharmacy in order to get a refill. Trying to do this is incredibly inconvenient. Calling is an exercise in futility—you’re put on hold for an infinite amount of time (listening on a 50-second loop to exhortations to use the website or the app, which I obviously would if I could) and it’s only on rare occasions that anyone actually ever picks up. Why can’t you leave a message? Why isn’t there a staff person whose responsibility is to answer all calls? I wind up having to drive to the store in person—it’s better than listening to the Muzak and 50+ loud, obnoxious promos for the website, but, again, extremely inconvenient. CVS pharmacies need to be more customer focused and better organized.

CVS IS TERRIBLE.. This app is terrible and so is cvs. I have picked up prescriptions at 7:30am and then around 10:30, I would receive a phone call with an annoying recording letting me know my prescription is ready for pick up. I was signed up for text notifications but cvs changed that. The pharmacy is very understaffed and when I try to get someone on the phone it is next to impossible. Calling the pharmacy and listening to THE MOST ANNOYING AND USELESS phone prompter for 10+ minutes is the most annoying thing in the world, and half of the time it hangs up on me and I have to call again and start over. It’s quicker for me to drive to cvs and talk to someone than it is to call and get someone on the phone. They always seem to put the slowest employees at the pick up window and when that happens there is a line of cars around the building ~ I have waited 30 minutes in line on several occasions. Cvs is all about corporate numbers on paper and NOT DOING WHAT IS BEST FOR THE CUSTOMERS…. There has to be a happy medium, but unfortunately the IDIOTS at corporate have no clue what is going on in the real world. A few years ago the pharmacy was great; but now it seems like the employees have no clue what they’re doing and there aren’t enough of them.

Reason to improve. I recently transferred all of my family’s prescriptions to another pharmacy because local CVS stores are always very very busy no matter what time I go for pick up. The staff is not as caring and compassionate as they should be with customers needs. I’ve heard pharmacist say to me oh, I didn’t realize you wanted that medication today while I’m standing in the store asking for it. I was visiting a store in Virginia, and that you pharmacist were standing there literally doing nothing but talking to each other with the drive-through line piled up with six cars, five customers standing in front of them. I’m waiting for emergency pain medicine after I tripped over a endcap that was poorly emptied. I had to pick myself up with my back hips and back. Oh and Most of the times I end up going back because everything isn’t ready and the CVS alert system is not working properly. Now I hear that CVS stores are cutting hours, too many changes. I found a local store that can do everything y’all do and offer the same products and services plus delivery with a smile. Sorry to be so detailed but honestly I have been holding this in for a very long time.

Cvs. Love shopping at CVS on 2E. Jericho Turnpike Huntington Station NY I love all the rewards that I get when I go shopping inside of CVS Rewards Card the only thing I do not like at CVS on 2E. Jericho Turnpike Huntington Station, New York is the pharmacy. They refused to fill my medication from a different doctor which didn’t make any sense especially when I’ve been going there for the last 14 years with the same medication. I’m very disappointing in the pharmacy especially with the pharmacist supervisor things need to change their, the line is too long in the drive-through and inside needs a lot of improvement and I’m very dissatisfied with the pharmacist not filling my prescription. I have a health issue and I was denied. My medication, but if this happens again, I’m gonna have to call an attorney and start a lawsuit against CVS pharmacy because they have no right to do so they are putting me at risk and harm!!! I have not yet received a callback from the corporate office at all

Prescriptions on hold. I love this app. But there’s one feature I would like to suggest to add that this app (the the VRU) doesn’t have. It would make life so much easier if there was on the app the ability to have prescriptions fulfilled that are on hold. My doctor writes 3 30 day scripts to my local CVS pharmacy every 90 day med check I have with him, because actual refills aren’t authorized for this medication. I would love to be able to click the (on hold) script to fill it when it becomes available to be filled. I can see the prescriptions on the app that are on hold but I just can’t do anything with them. I know each script has a ‘do not fill before this date’ field on it and I know the database your web page draws from has that data field, too. So if it could be available to be filled remotely, through the app (or the VRU), after the ‘do not fill before date’, that would be great. Would save the pharmacy a lot of needless phone time, too, if I could do it on the app. Just a suggestion. Thanks!

Management of Prescriptions. The incompetence of the person or persons managing this app, is appalling! There are RX’s that were for an specific ailment, i. e., 1-Clindamycin 300 mg 2-tramadol (never filled) 3-Zaleplon 10 mg 4-doxycycline hyclate 100 mg 5-freestyle libre 14 day 6-Uf micro pen needle 7-ZOLPIDEM tart ER 12.5 mg 8-atorvastatin 40 mg 9-Clarithromycin 500 mg ALL of the above prescriptions I DO NOT currently take, some of those , were antibiotics that were prescribed after small surgery. Today, April 10th 2022, I received a phone call, message left, telling me that my Rx number starting with 353, was not covered by Medicare!!! First of all, all the RXs from that CVS pharmacy, that I recall and still have the proof, start with the number “1”. Also, I have been told that ETNA doesn’t cover a certain Rx…I (we) have NEVER HAD ETNA INSURANCE, IN MY (OUR) LIFE!!! Please REMOVE all of these, and also remove the ones for Vaccines and the Flu and Shingles. if it wasn’t that CVS is the only pharmacy that can bill Medicare, We would’ve taken our business to another pharmacy! Now, we are very pleased with the service that we get from the pharmacist, and all the personnel that deals with us, they are outstanding!!! I or my husband need these problems fixed. Mrs. Miriam Ruiz

Confusing, Buggy & Error Prone. I only use the App to manage my prescriptions, so my comments & rating only apply to the pharmacy section. Logging in process is defective. When I enter my date of birth, the App independently changes the last digit of the year forcing a log in error. Entering it correctly again may or may not fix the problem. Once inside the App, migrating to my prescriptions is a challenge requiring too many steps depending on what new process the latest update requires. Once on my prescription page it’s a tossup as to whether or not all of my prescriptions will be shown. I prefer to NOT have any of my prescriptions on automatic refill, but regardless of my changing all of them to NO Auto-Refill, CVS’s system will change any number of them back to Auto-Refill at some time during the month. Given these major annoyances, along with any number of minor ones, I am tempted to dump this App. My only problem in doing that is, CVS’s phone system is even worse……. My final message to CVS - For Heaven’s sake - get some more help for those poor people who are valiantly trying to keep your brick & mortar stores running. Especially in the Pharmacy Department…..

Can’t change mailing address. Horrible horrible customer service. I updated my address in the app because I moving to another state in 2 days and still was receiving notifications that my prescriptions ready for refill would be delivered to my old address. Then I called customer service several times and the old stir and the new stir. Each time I was told there was no update in the system. After talking to customer care, A woman from the Philippines would not update my husbands information without his cvs card number. I told her I didn’t have that information and that I needed to update his information because I manage his meds due to dementia. She then connected me to Simone else and I was disconnected. I’ve been on the phone for hours and I still haven’t been able to figure out if my address has actually Ben updated in the system. CVS why do I have to deal with the language barriers of people in the Philippines and be on the phone for hours trying to resolve an issue. Don’t people move all the time and have need to change their shipping address? You don’t care and we have no alternative to get proper service.

Almost does it all. Handles just about every aspect of being a CVS customer well and intuitively. Kudos CVS. Three minor complaints, but still one of the better apps. 1. Can’t figure out how to cancel monthly CVS Customer Care Pass subscription 2. Can’t figure out how to add multiple people to my account. I handle prescriptions for several family members and, so far, I can only have one “patient” in the app. It’s inconvenient, but not a deal breaker. App can probably do this, but I haven’t figured out how to add family members. 3. CVS offers prescription delivery but cannot deliver controlled substances. Yet they still offer this service only to tell me later in the process that it can’t be done. If a prescription is a controlled substance or a group of prescriptions contains a controlled substance, don’t initially make this offer available on that order. On the whole though, the app offers tons of useful features and is better than any other pharmacy app I’ve used.

Deals. I am not happy about the cvs app change on the deals. It was much easier to browse coupon deals by going into each category. For example I would go to category “grocery” and all the deals would be listed and I would just scroll through and select the ones I want. With the new change you have to select all the categories you follow, and all the deals for “all” categories are listed as one list and you have to scroll through the whole list to find what coupons you want and select. The new feature makes it more difficult to shop and select deals. Please bring the old one back! By customers using the new feature will not be using the coupons because it is way to difficult and cvs will lose sales this way. Also, want to mention that each deal does not show the whole description of the item, you have to select more in order to see the item in full view. I’m not happy with new feature and I don’t think anyone would take the time as I did to let cvs know this situation. Please let the technology department be aware of this situation. Kind regards, Your customer in Orange, CT.

CVS has been AMAZING!. During this scary pandemic, CVS has REALLY stepped up & made it safer to get your RX. The fact they are willing to ship most RX’s at no charge has been a game changer! It’s made it so much safer for their customers & the fact they are doing it for free is astounding! Plus, their new premium customer option has worked out really well for me personally! I only pay $5 a month, & in return, I get a $10 credit! It’s amazing because I would spend the money with them anyway, so I double my money. Plus, I get many other benefits, including a 20% off discount for buying their name brand health products. In addition, I get many other coupons, discounts & bonuses. Like I said, CVS has really stepped up to treat their customers in the most tremendous way during such a difficult health crisis! My location in particular has a phenomenal staff that always goes the extra mile to assist me. I’m really grateful for CVS & all they do for me to make my life better & easier!

Bizarre behavior. I had a 5 refill script. 30 pills per refill each month. One pill a night. I “should” have two refills left but I don’t. I have zero. I do however have 90 pills left on that RX but no refills left to fill them with. That’s bizarre. My dr said all pills should be issued by the last refill. One should never run out before the other. The numbers are not adding up. I talked from clerks, to managers to regional pharmaceutical managers and I get a different excuse each time that contradicts the last story they gave me. No explanation has made any sense My Dr said it was sketchy and immediately cancelled all RX’s I have with CVS. She issued me new ones as long as I fill them elsewhere. She said something unethical and shady was going on. CVS started adding refills back to my script after a few months plus created clone RX numbers to add the remaining pills back too. My dr had to go into the National database to verify what I was telling her was right. Plus I’ve been keeping screenshots of all the magical numbers they are playing to cover my own behind. I’m leaving this review on the app feedback section since that was one of the excuses I got from the clerk, it was the apps fault, BUT she never said how it’s the apps fault

System or employees delete all personal information. I’m in my 50s with some major medical issues going on in my health so the last thing I need is incompetent employees and apps randomly deleting my address so my meds can’t get mailed to me and then employees hanging up on me because they don’t know how to pick up a caller they put on hold for 12 minutes, only 2 minutes of that time was actually on hold. Maybe since my generation was so intelligent as to create Beavus and Butthead we should be so kind as to now create a finishing school that is required to teach basic real world common knowledge such as counting change, how to use a business phone and use some decorum of manors while on that business phone. But whatever, it’s your app so It’s perfect and that means I’m wrong. Also, your employees would never talk rude or hang up on people so I’m lying through my teeth. Just remember…you asked for my review so I gave it to you based off a Fayetteville NC store location and having to deal with the app because of them. Never knew the extent of how bad the app was when when I dealt with the Greenville Ohio store. Maybe you should use that store as a training store for others. Efficient, polite and helpful in many ways

Frustrated!. Used app to TRY to prepay a prescription for pickup. Followed CVS text link, which opened app and correctly showed prescription ready for pickup. However, repeated attempts to sign in resulted in "could not sign you in due to technical problems"? Closed app and tried to repeat process using text link several times - still no luck. Tried web CVS site and was able to log in without problem and I could see the prescription, BUT, using the web site, there appears to be no way to add a prescription to the cart and prepay! That option is ONLY available through the app! Why in the world would CVS do this???!!! Deleted and reloaded the CVS app, went back to the link and the app, and tried to "work-around", looking for another page/tab that MIGHT allow sign in. FINALLY allowed to sign in even though I still got the same "could not sign you in..."???!!! Completed prep-pay, but why is this such an effort. And FYI, this happens EVERY time. I suspect there is some problem with my account that is causing this problem, and I have tried several times to address with CVS tech help desk, but they seem clueless. If CVS wasn't the preferred pharmacy for my insurance, this repeated problem would have driven me away long ago!!

CVS the thorn in my side!. I was told when I signed up to be a member. I would get a free gift each month,I haven’t. I was also told there would be a birthday package. I didn’t receive one. I didn’t receive anything until I called to find out what was going on because before I became a member I always got nail polish. They finally gave me $3. I see on Facebook groups and TikTok people are always getting text for free stuff. I have placed an order. I never received it plus I never got my money and my extra bucks back. When I called to find out what was going on. I was informed that my order had been canceled and I had gotten most of my merchandise. Both were lies I did not cancel anything and I didn’t not receive my merchandise. I asked when the order was supposed to have been canceled and the woman told me back in September. I placed the order on October 13 or 14. I will not be signing up for this joke. The whole company has done nothing but lie and take my money. SO NO I AM NOT HAPPY WITH CVS

A mess. As of this writing, this app is a mess. I used to be able to click View Prescriptions and, if you can believe it, view my prescriptions. Crazy, right? Now when I click View Prescriptions, I get a pop up saying I must turn Prescription Management on. I am then required to fill in several lines of information (for which autocomplete is not available) and after submitting this info I am told Prescription Management is already on. But guess what? I still can’t view my prescriptions. The cycle of trying to view them and being told I must turn on Prescription Management continues infinitely. Want to report this issue in app? Ok! Just fill out several more lines of information in the Contact Us section, type out the issue and then submit. Sorry, I mean TRY to submit. You can’t! Because even though all fields have been filled out, it will tell you that you must fill in all fields in order to submit. All this when a simple phone call to my local CVS would have done the trick. Silly me! Using the app that’s supposed to streamline the process. I don’t know what I was thinking.

App has gotten better!. It used to and maybe still is a little “busy” looking. I can imagine an elderly person getting frustrated, writing is small im some spots, lots of “stuff” all jumbled together (shipping, script plans coupins etc) right when you log in the app. But it has improved some. It would be VERY convenient to have an option ON the app to let your pharmacy know (when your scripts have been “in process” for several days) that you are on the way and youd like them to be actually IN PROCESS! Lol Mostly because now days it is taking up to 2 hours to fill them. So when you are ready and finally have time to pick then up and get there, you arent told “sorry, i dont see anything ready come back in a couple of hours”. The phone option has a place to do that, but not once have they actually filled it within hours of my call saying im on the way. Now tou can wait for 45 min on hold and MAYBE get it in an hour. Anyways the app itself has improved some so kudos.

Convenient app for my favorite store. The CVS app has some good features. It displays almost all of the items that I want to search as well as tells me which stores has the item available and what not. However, there are times there was some mistakes as I went to the store only to find out the product I want was not there even it said the item was in stock from the app. I hope this feature can be improve to reflect better item availability at different stores. Back to the positive side, the app gives good approximate of price for the item with Extrabucks rewards included and additional discounts at that time period. I recently find out there were some considerable inconsistencies between the price online and the actual price in store. I wish this app can be improved to the point that it can show the actual price for a specific item at a specific store location. Overall, I like the CVS app so far and I look forward to more improvements for better shopping experiences in the future.

Customer service. I just got off the phone with a representative who said his name was John. Today is December 16, and the call took place between 3:00 and 3:37. I called to report that I had a problem with my one dollar Extra Buck, whose expiration date is December 21. When I tried to use it, the cashier said it was coming up as already used, but it had not been used. It is definitely mine because it has the the last four digets of my card number At the bottom. I found John to be very unhelpful. He put me on hold several times to look at my account, and I gave him the expiration date of the coupon as he kept asking at least four times. I asked to speak to a manager, but he said there was no manager there. I kept asking, and he said the manager was busy. I had a hard time understanding “John,” and it seemed to me that he was not really trying to solve the problem. I realize that it is only a dollar, but I did not feel appreciated as a customer. I felt he was stalling, hoping I would give up, which I finally did as I ended the call. I hope that the call was recorded

My prescriptions are never filled. I don’t give bad reviews, but this app has me so frustrated. It’s easy to request a refill and to see my prescriptions. It’s also easy to see the last date they were filled and which ones are coming up to be refilled. The problem is, I put in my refill request and then I see where it’s “processing”. It will stay at that status for days. I end up calling my CVS to ask what the problem is. They say they don’t know and fill my prescription right away. I though it could have been a glitch but I was waiting for a prescription my doctor called in. It went into the “processing” phase, then this morning the status changed to “hold”. Again, I had to call my CVS store and ask why my medicine is on hold. Again, they didn’t know why my prescriptions weren’t going through. So, same as last time, they filled right away after my call. I will probably not use this app and remove it from my phone.

Recent app changes. I really liked shopping at CVS but they are going downhill. I have been placing orders once a week on the app for years. The app used to offer you great coupons that you could get products for low prices. All of a sudden a couple months ago the coupons, which are called crts, stopped for a few weeks and when they came back there were a lot less. When I do find some deals and place an order half the time, by the time they process the order, they are out of stock of the products. That then messes up your extrabuck deals. Then when I receive the orders they are messed up. Products that are liquids leak all over the box and are bacsically empty by the time I get them. The leaking liquids ruin everything else in the box. I also am receiving products where the package is open. They use boxes that are too big and instead of using bubble wrap they use cheap paper packing material that doesn’t keep the products safe. Then when you have to call customer service for help with these issues, that is a whole other problem in itself. It’s disappointing that things have gotten this bad.

Disappointment / Waste of Time. This app is pointless. The in store coupon scanner has been deactivated and on it there is a sign that instructs you to download the app to get coupons. I downloaded the app and got a new CVS card because it did not give me the option to look up my old CVS card with my phone #. I then clipped multiple coupons and went to the checkout to purchase my items. Only 2 of the 4 coupons I clipped and added to my card on the app showed up on the register. I showed the cashier the coupons on my app and showed her they should be taken off on my purchase - she simple shrugged her shoulders and said she didn’t know why it was not working. I asked if she could enter them manually and she said no. She did not offer to help fix the issue and was very unconcerned. She also rolled her eyes at me because I guess she was annoyed the transition was taking up her time ... for which she is being paid for... so I’m not sure what the problem was with her. Shouldn’t be working in customer service if you have no patience or concern to help and assist your customers... In conclusion the app stinks and CVS workers are even worse. This is why I won’t be shopping with them any more.

useless for prescriptions. this app is so slow and is constantly covering up what I’m trying to see with the giant loading pop-up. I use the pharmacy section primarily and it is confusing and disorganized. “All prescriptions” does not display all prescriptions or the ones that are ready for pickup. I don’t understand why “schedule vaccine” is in the prescription management section. When you click “Recent Orders” there’s no clear visual distinguishment between prescriptions that have been picked up and that are ready for pick up, and you can’t click on any orders for more details. It used to be possible to switch prescriptions to delivery through the app once they were ready but now apparently I have to call the pharmacy which is a waste of time and energy. Even when I have delivery turned on, the app sends my prescriptions to the pharmacy as if they were for pick up. There’s no option for push notifications or text messages when my prescriptions need a refill soon. Prescriptions called in from a doctor aren’t always automatically synced with my account. I am so frustrated with this app and find it virtually unusable for prescription management.

Poor customer support. I like this app with the exception of anything that has to do with human customer support. I enabled the care+pay function thinking it would speed up the check out process at the register. It didn’t work properly (don’t remember why now), and I was unable to DISable the function again to sort it. Three separate times I have tried to work through customer support to have the function disabled as instructed. Two out of the three times I was on hold over 30 minutes, and on the 3rd call, a 20+min wait to speak to a real person who said she couldn’t disable the +pay function, it shouldn’t mess anything up at the register, and I could do it myself. This AFTER I read to her directly from the instructions in the app telling me TO call their support to disable. The process made me just as dizzy as reading it probably did to you. If they would fix this one thing, my rating would be a 5. As it is, I never use the app at the register because I don’t want to ask other people to wait that dang long for me to get out if the way.

Great but I still see room for improvement. I love all the features of the app but I see a few areas that would greatly improve the experience. Firstly, it takes me FOREVER to select all the coupons. Please add a select all feature. I’m still going to search what’s there when shopping for deals. There’s no way I or anyone else could remember the 200 coupons in there anyway if that’s the objective in making us select each. Secondly, how about you make an interactive shopping list where I can add coupons directly to this week or next weeks deals? And have it displayed just like in your paper (I.e. price, minus app coupon, minus paper coupon, etc.), with room for us to add other paper coupons (from previous weeks) & ECB so we’ll know exactly what’s going to happen at the register because let’s face it, it’s awful when you’re not 100% organized at the register and it slows down the checkout process and makes it miserable for everyone (the cashier, shopper, and those waiting in line).

New user!. This app is great! I like that you have the ability to search deals on the add as well as a list format. The one thing about the deals link is that it doesn’t allow you to shop through the deals link or when they have the Extra care bucks like another drugstore in my area. Also they don’t break it down for you like a similar app. You have to go back look for the deals and do the math. I just recently added a few drug store apps to compare prices. I wish this app would simplify the online shopping experience, like adding the break down to get the best deal and inform you about where you can find more savings in Sunday newspapers and the quantity of the savings. It’s just a suggestion that I have seen in other apps that I really appreciated. Another feature I wish was added was the “in stock” option. I have only 3 locations within a 20mile radius and have gone into stores for a certain item to find out they’re out of stock. Although I do love shopping at CVS I’m very discouraged when they have minimal stock on their shelves.

Terrible App for Pharmaceutical Use. Try going back, navigating between medications, or even clicking on the details of a prescription. It takes forever to load, and doesn’t even process my submissions half the time. For example, I’ve requested for one single medication to be refilled three times today, and it still shows a status that it isn’t in process, with the option to refill it still available. Additionally, (by chance today), I attempted to transfer a medication from a pharmacy an hour away to one 5 minutes away from my house, and it just won’t process. What this means is that not only am I going to be late for my appointed dose time, I will be significantly more late trying to get the incompetent pharmaceutical staff at (referring to the staff at the location I go to specifically, obviously not all CVS staff are incompetent; in fact often the opposite) this location to communicate with another CVS first thing in the morning. With a market cap of 63 billion dollars, you’d think that in 2018 CVS could find a better team to develop their applications or general software. I’ve seen independent college students in their dorms do better (not referring to the founders of Facebook) at average universities. Get it together CVS.

I LOVE CVS. I love CVS. They are always on top of my needs and the app is so simple to use for someone like me whom are not text savvy. I’m still trying to figure out how to sign up for same-day delivery by your own personal courier, which is amazing, but that’s on me to figure out and pay. I can’t recall the name? I never ever thought I would leave the other pharmacy, but, they became so super busy and unfriendly. When I call or go in, I have the greatest team in the world. Gordonna and her crew are the most amazing team! They are truly an asset to CVS and the only reason I switched over, other than they are closer. It seemed like it took forever to find the greatest CVS Team, but, I finally did and As long as that hero team is their, I have no plans on leaving. Thank you to CVS, for hiring such great folks that give you special attention and for an app you can utilize right from your own home and access anywhere that is so personable! ~Kathleen

Stupid app. Hate the health and refill part of this app, when you call on the phone you have to answer 20 questions before you can reach somebody yesterday I spent one hour calling pharmacy 3 different times about my medication. I did get my Dexacom but I had to spend so much time waiting and trying to call on the phone. My doctor had sent prescription months ago but I had not tried the new Dexacom 7. Dexcom people said it may not work on my phone therefore I only got 30 day supply instead of 90. I asked pharmacy if I could have a transmitter, yes with a prescription. But did they look because I’m pretty sure my doctor had sent a prescription!!!! Did they look, I don’t think so! Then I try to go on app to see if pharmacy is even open today and no hours are shown on the app that I could easily find!!! I got my new Dexacom to work so I wanted to get my 90 day supply, they were going to give it but I wanted to wait to make sure the new 7 worked on my phone. I had to spend 1/2 of my day off dealing with this when if they pharmacy would have looked to see I had a new prescription, of which I had to tell them Personal experience is lost in automated app.

Inconvenient digital. Why doesn’t the app reflect my prescription history?? Inconvenient when a refill is needed and I don’t save the package of medication. Now I have to call a live pharmacist or physically go into pharmacy just to place a refill. Whereas I could easily just use digital services if worked properly. Bcz the automated phones refill service does not allow a search buy name or date of birth for refillable prescription. Additionally, the first half of this feedback was attempted under the support and FAQ option so I could get a response in the 2 business days. However, when using a mobile device, second half question of whether I use store or mobile prescription services does not allow to select an answer. After 5 minutes of fighting with that and finally having the Submit button available to press. I press it - nothing happens. I go back through my entry 4x and still no action occurred when submit button was pressed. Please update digital options to effectively allow customers to transition from in person led interactions for all inquiries to self service of most.

Terrible app!. Other than seeing your ExtraBucks & Carepass rewards, this is a terrible app. Don’t try to search for items online or in stores—not going to happen. If you’re looking for a specific item the app will let you know whether the item is available online for shipping but if you’re trying to locate it at a specific store—forget it. They have manufacturers coupons which you can load to the card but some are for items that can’t be found online nor in stores. Lately you cannot view the page view of the weekly circular on the app, despite deleting & reinstalling it. Since CVS has gotten rid of their printed weekly circular the only way to view it is online this can bea big problem. This app needs a huge overhaul. Amending : NO STARS! I tried to order online and send the item to another person at a different address. My order would not go through because my credit card was not accepted even though my billing address matched my address. For some reason the app was matching the cc billing address with the SHIPPING address of the intended recipient. When I used the cc belonging to the recipient, the order went through. Ridiculous !

Pharmacy. I am very disappointed with the pharmacy and the turn around on medication that is greatly needed and taken monthly. I feel like I am constantly told meds would be ready at a specific time and they are never done! The problem is I have to use CVS through local 17 but I will be putting a complaint into the local my insurance is through and maybe they will need to change whom they are contracted with. As you know medication is extremely important and I feel that all the pharmacy’s of yours do not look at it that way! Very unfortunate! Abe yet again I called the pharmacy to have a medication filled asked if it could be ready in 5 hrs due to going out of town and yet again they are very busy so the pharmacist said well they may not be able to have it ready it seems as every time I call to get my meds it’s like pulling teeth if that is the case then maybe you need more staff. I pick my meds up monthly for pain management and can not go without my medication so I will be transferring to a new pharmacy due to on going issues that never seem to get resolved! And then getting hung up on by sergio the pharmacist! Bad customer service

Twice Now Not Good. First time I got to the designated spot and did as instructed by responding to the CVS text with The word here. Well after waiting for almost 15 minutes outside I had to call into the store for someone to bring it out to me it’s as if no one was minding the curbside pick up at all even though they had put my order together and it was sitting there. I used curbside again today and never received a message that my order was ready that was being “worked on quote. Mind you it was only two items no big deal but as I am sick with the flu I did not want to venture into the store. I called in and the gentleman on the phone checked on it and said he did not understand why it had not been prepared at all and that he would take care of it in five minutes. It took me that long to get to the store, I messaged into the store here like I’m supposed to and again I ended up having to call in for help. When I called in a kid answered the phone saying oh I’ll have to have a mailer to do that and hung up on me. So again I sat there and waited. Thankfully it was brought out but what a hassle. I don’t think i’ll use curbside there again. I don’t think it’s that hard to do correct me if I’m wrong.

They certainly didn’t invest the Covid fortune in software. When it works, it works poorly even the pharmacist say pay no attention to anything on that or any of the messages sent from their corporate headquarters. The CVS here in Lynchburg at least the one that I use presently has two competent pharmacist one that’s Pleasanton competent one that she’s competent and of course, there is the managing pharmacist who is near the competent not pleasant your knowledgeable. Just a nasty piece of work. Today I have tried five times throughout the day to get this application to tell me which of my medication should be ready for pick up so I can call the pharmacist and see that they are what is before I drive across town and wait an hour and a half to get them… And subject myself to harassment and down. Speak from an ignoramus depending on who’s working. She does occasions the app has failed me saying that it is still working on that… What “that” is I have no idea, but I can’t see any information about my pharmacy. Oh my medication so again another useless app. Thank you CVS for being possibly the worst pharmacy in Lynchburg.

Great App, Just Needs 1 More Feature!!. I love the special personalized offers I get that save me money from using this app. The Beauty Club extra bucks is great for those who frequently shop for makeup/skincare items. I also like that they can just scan my card instead of me having to say my phone # out loud. I knocked off 2 stars because there is one essential feature that is missing that almost every e-commerce site/app has, and that is the Save to Favorites or Save for Later feature. I use the app often to find and research products but I don’t always purchase them right away. The only way I can save them is by adding them to the cart. But if I’m not yet ready to purchase them and need to make other purchases then I have to delete them from the cart in order to make those other purchases. There is no way to save or remember what I added to the cart prior to that and sometimes I completely forget what was there. I hope the developers see this review and add this feature!!! Other than that, it’s an excellent app. After they make this improvement, I will change my review to 5 stars!

CVS app is completely broken. It’s always tiresome to have to continue to write the same review over and over again, but it seems that’s the only solution, considering that no one seems to be willing to fix the problem on your app. Prescriptions appear in the ready to pick up section when you hit the barcode and give it to the pharmacy tech she tells us that the prescription has already been picked up when it most clearly hasn’t you have to manually given names and birthdates to get any prescriptions now because all that show up in the app is really just a notification at this point to let you know there’s a prescription they’re not at the Apple actually do what is intended to do, which is make it easy to pick up your prescriptions, I’ve gotten tired of being called by the CVS helpdesk and by CVS IT because they never fix anything. It’s been broken for months I’ve had your service is wretched and ridiculous that it’s this bad that you cannot resolve a simple problem app being able to recognize when prescriptions have arrived and be able to pick them up at the cashiers at desk. This is without a doubt the worst customer support I’ve ever seen. Thank you.

CVS 4 iOS. The app works great for viewing extra bucks, extra bucks rewards, weekly deals and saving/sending items to extra bucks card. The only issue I have is recurring. The barcode/scanners do not always capture my extra bucks card number. My screen is clean and I do not have tempered glass on my screen. I think CVS scanners are older or have issues. After several attempts my number is captured or cashier will have to input my phone number. The other issue I encounter is printing my extra bucks coupons. The dispenser does not read my extra bucks card from my phone wallet. There is a reader on the dispenser screen but it's either not calibrated correctly. With this all said I use a Samsung S8 in addition to my iPhone 8 and my 6s. The Samsung works perfect for all the above issues I described above. Could issue be with iOS software, ioS screen type. Any ok be using new iPhone X which is same LCD SCREEN used on Samsung Galaxy S8. Samsung makes iPhone X screen and pretty m UI changes identical specs on X and S8.

Love the store; App is glitchy. I love CVS! They always have everything I need at a fair price! The app is great because I can put the coupons on my card and click “Shop this Deal” to be sure the items I buy are the ones that count toward the coupon! That’s why I like shopping the app and picking up in store. Two things that I hope they improve with the app are: 1. Glitches that make me restart app. It will give a continuous error when I add items to cart sometimes or if I want to change an item qty in my cart. It also glitched while I was checking out… I had to close the app several times. Thankfully it saved my cart each time, so it’s not bad enough to give up yet. But please fix! 2. I had two gift cards last time. I got my cart full and ready to check out only to find that I cannot use gift cards in the app— only when paying in store. I hope one day CVS can do it like other stores (Target, Starbucks, etc) and allow CVS gift cards to be applied to my account online. I dislike carrying around gift cards. If these issues get fixed, it would make me happy. :)

Customer. I have to write one on this app, but if I had a choice I wouldGet the -2 stars.! I’ve had so many issues with the staff at Marsh Street CVS pharmacy in San Luis Obispo . It’s incredible that one would have so many issues with the staff and they talk back to me and say lies to me to suffice themselves!! They actually told me that my doctor said some things that I know he did it because I’m seeing him tomorrow and I just saw him last month and there’s no way in the world that he would do that!! I’m extremely upset about the way I’ve been treated there either by phone or in person! Absolutely no professionalism by the Current Employed pharmacy staff!! I’ve given Cvs so much business and Recommended them in the past, so many people this is the way I’ve been Treated!!And I’m not the only one that’s normal. A lot of people now having some issues with my street CVS pharmacy in San Luis Obispo. I Would Suggest that the higher up managementThat would that would use this pharmacy do something about this problem!Whatever happened to the customer being right!?!

Pharmacy needs insurance option. I’ve been using CVS for years and one of the most frustrating parts of refilling my prescriptions is the insurance. I have two insurance companies on file (one private, and one Workers Comp.) I have been filling the same medications since 2014, and every month, I have to call the pharmacy to have them correct the insurance they are trying to put the script through. It can be confusing as some of my meds go through WC and some go through my private insurance, but it really could be as simple as the pharmacy checking the history. Whatever insurance was used last for that particular medication should be the same they run it through again. But it’s a constant issue, even with the employees I’ve become familiar with over the years. It would be wonderful if you could add an “insurance” option to the refill section of your app. A simple “choose insurance” and list what I have on file, or even if it’s a self-entry portion where I can remind them which insurance to use. Because honestly, the app is worthless to me if I have to call the pharmacy every single time I refill. Thanks!

App is good but CVS pharmacist not. The pharmacist at CVS on Moon Rd in Columbus GA. Is inconsiderate, incapable of comprehending prescriptions phoned in by physicians and extremely rude. She has no intention of correcting her mistake even though she knows she filled it incorrectly! I will never use this pharmacy again. There are many other pharmacies close by, so I won’t be inconvenienced by changing. Since I have 9 plus RXs there not including my husband’s RXs, we will inform our neighbors, family (who started using this pharmacy on our referral) & others we know, how this lady pharmacist treated me & her disrespect by not correcting her mistake to make my insulin last for the whole month & cause me to make another co payment within the month plus having my doctor to call back to another pharmacy with another prescription to make it thru the month of December. CVS, you don’t need pharmacist like this woman...she’s incompetent & rude! My doctor specifically prescribed enough insulin, 2 boxes, to completely take me through December, 2018.

Russell at CVS#8343. I recently started using this location due to the fact that it’s right by my place of work (healthcare). I was at the window waiting to pick up my prescription and the gentleman that has waited on me several times previously was, again, working the drive-thru. So I was moving around trying to follow him and see his name tag. When I finally saw it, I said me and my good friend/coworker were just talking about you today and how surprisingly pleasant and helpful you are and that he really made an impact on us. He said “oh thank you, I just try to be nice to everyone cuz you just don’t know the situation of the customers he helps, and it could be bad and one friendly face can possibly change their day” I was like awww well, we totally appreciate you going above and beyond and think you’re awesome! He’s so pleasant and helpful and empathetic. Just an outstanding employee that should be recognized by his employers. Great job. Russell, for making someone’s day a little brighter 😉!!
