Happy, but. Device works very well, as long as it is only active when the phone app is loaded. I won’t lose my car key again! So I bought two more. It does not seem possible to set up more than one device. Am I doing something wrong?

Pretty much useless. I have this thing attached to my AirPods because I’m always losing them. Worked okay the first time I need to find them. Now that I’m trying to find them now it literally won’t even connect to the tracker, so like what’s the point? At first I thought I just might be out of range but this has happened before while they were right in front of me and couldn’t get the issue fixed. I’m going to put some money to the side to get a better tracker.

Broken from the box. Did absolutely nothing from the get go. Doesn’t even turn on. Garbage & going back!

Trash. I got for a Christmas gift it doesn’t work doesn’t come on.

Works great! User interface is weird, instructions below.. Ok so it was pretty tricky to activate it. You have to follow the instructions! I got mine from 5 below. Here’s what I did. I held the button for 3 secs and it made a weak beep. The instructions say you have to hold it down for 3 seconds and there will be 2 beeps. So I tried it again and sure enough there were two beeps. I then went to the icon in the far left, and it showed up. I hit the button that said “disconnect” (weird, I know) I think that’s all. So yeah the user interface isn’t super intuitive like it is with tile, but I paid like 5$ for this thing at 5 below, whereas tile would have cost me like 30$+. Definitely worth the 5$ Oh by the way: you can call your phone by holding the button down.

Instruction. At first had the same problem and I don’t know if this is just me. Only thing I did was turn on the Traxx it first then opened the app and there it was. Swipe out of app completely start keyfinder first then open app worked for me every time hope this helps everyone, thanks

I don’t recommend you to waste your money. Really wasted my money the app is even more terrible!! I device just make noise when you click the button

WTH. Who knows, could help in spite of being a pice of junk. 🤷‍♀️As soon as I put the key ring through, the two plastic triangle pieces wouldn’t snap back together. 3 little pieces that keep it in place broke off while I was trying to align it. There are very little instructions. Example: what is the camera function for? Am I supposed to leave it on or off? When the device records the time stamps say 20 minutes no matter how long it was actually recording. I could go on for awhile, but you get the picture. I can’t afford a tile so I’m going to tape it up and hope for the best. Whoever is doing that tutorial, please hurry and post a link 😂

Low battery. It’s not worth $5 save the time and money. Don’t but it .

Need a ton of work. So been a tile user for long time and looking for lower cost finder and one that uses batteries. So trying this since it’s cheap. The app and unit has one really annoying thing - u cannot mute the devise if BT looses its connection - it beeps and u have to silence the unit manually! This is very bad for things like a backpack. So this needs to be fixed. The setup was pita but after several try’s got the BT to pair. The other thing is the instructions are so bad. Can’t they hire a writer from the USA??!

You get what you pay for.. So typically negative reviews are written out of hostility or some other negative emotion. I’m not saying I’m happy, but this review is coming from a rational point. My product doesn’t work. I even tested the battery that came with it. It’s good. I tried the advice offered by others that got their’s to work. Mine didn’t. I’m not saying all of them are bad, but the feedback given would seem to indicate an inoperable product is more of the rule rather than the exception for this company. If you already bought it, give it a try and wish you good luck. Otherwise, my advise would be to avoid this product and shell out the extra money for a more reputable product like Tile. Seems you get what you pay for...

The app doesn’t work. I’ve been sitting here messing with it for a half hour and I can’t get it to work...

Awful product. Never connects. Just says connecting forever. Your stuff will be lost. They never update this product as well. Save your money!!!!

AVOID. Did not work out of the box. I did not expect much only paying $5. But at any price it should do what it says it does. I could not get this to work. Followed instructions and searched for solutions. Email manufacturer = no response yet. For me, I don’t think it will power on. No beep. Battery tested good. Still no audible beep no matter hold long I held button. This is junk. Waste of $5.

App still has bugs. Annnd the tracker doesn’t work. I followed directions. I pressed the button to turn it on, I heard a beep and then nothing. There’s no sign at all that it’s working. It seems like this “project” was abandoned by the developer.

Junk all of it. Got it for Xmas and as others have said does not work total junk.

Useless. The device disconnect automatically, how am I supposed to find my key if the tracker disconnect automatically???

I almost gave up but it works perfectly. I recently just bought the tracker a couple weeks back I put it in my key an could not figure out how to work it. As time went by people kept telling me to try different things of course I didn’t listen. Today 01/15 , I finally figured it out an oh my lord it has been the best ever since because I always lose my keys 24/7. I’m so thrilled I finally figured it out. The app developers an producers of this product really need to update instructions. No wonder there are so many bad reviews the instructons don’t work at all. I’m gonna make a tutorial video ASAP!!! I’m the new instructor lol☺️

Not worth the money. First, the batteries were good, but yet one of the units of the two would not turn on. Secondly, you always have to have the app open in the background or it runs an alarm on the one that I could get to work and maybe it's just me but I don't like my apps always have to be open

One of the worst five dollars I’ve spent in my life. The one and only I ever needed to use this to find my keys The tracker kept having random spasms so it would go off loudly in class. More than once. On multiple occasions

Useless. I got this to track my keys if I misplaced them in the house, which it won’t do because it shows where it is on a large map, and it is not that specific. I was able to turn it on, connect with BT, and get it to beep. Problem is it beeps all the time and disconnects from BT all the time, so I get annoying notifications and sounds. If my keys are hanging on their hook, they will just sound off randomly. And why would this app want access to my camera, my microphone, and Siri? I disconnected and am throwing it out. I do not recommend.

Junk. Clearly mine has a dead battery or is just a plain out piece of crap.

When they part by distance the tag device beeps until you press it once. Then it's silent until you call for it when in range. Needs an option to set on the device not to sound if it looses Bluetooth because of distance but only sound when called for. Also device has ability to activate audio recording on your iPhone by double tap. Not really a good feature if used inappropriately. Also map feature shows last place your iPhone and device were located before separated. Not helpful if looking for device in enclosed area. Just walk around with your iPhone until it starts alarm beep when Bluetooth connects, then you can find it by beep sound. Got mine at 5 below for $5. Not too bad for a cheap alternative. Battery is replaceable. App has ability to log several devices including naming each tag and photographing tag on item. Silence setting for iPhone and tag doesn't seem to stay off for overnight hours. Hopefully updates are coming. Surprisingly there's no QR code on packaging for app in store and nothing on xtreme website linking to exact app nor searchable on their site.

Don’t even waste your time downloading. Product is junk. Received as a Christmas gift and thrown away within 10 minutes of opening. Junk doesn’t even work took it apart checked the battery and pressed the button no lights no nothing. Then I decided to read some reviews and found out I’m not alone. If you read this before you download save yourself the time and don’t. I’ve already wasted enough time writing this review in hopes to save people like you time.

Not useful at all.. You have to keep it close to your phone or else the tracker starts beeping. You have to keep the app open or else it starts beeping. I tried every setting in the app and nothing changes this. I don’t like this app or tracker at all.

Doesn’t work. Cheap stuff. Bought 3 of them and none of them worked. Instructions are clearly some Chinese to English translation and barely make any sense. Don’t waste your time or money.

Not quite what was expected. Does work. Gives generic location. Once in the app, visual instructions do not accurately reflect what the app does or how it looks to the user. “Tones” to pair are almost imperceptible clicks. Device does not alarm, but you can set it up to use the dongle to locate your phone via alarm in the app. TL;DR Doesn’t do quite what I expected. The “two tones” and the “long drip” sound the same. If you’ve got any noise around you while trying to pair, you won’t hear it. I didn’t have any issues pairing the device, however the app screen never would show my device like it shows in the apps visual instruction screen. Some of the features it touts in the instructions are superfluous and somewhat confusing. I’m not sure why it needs access to my camera and microphone for a dongle locator. It did, however, properly locate the device as being in where I intentionally left it for testing. Because it said it plays a tone, I expected to be able to go to the app, press a button and have the dongle make a noise that I could track in my house, (because I lose my keys in my house, I know they are here, just not exactly where) instead it just shows on the map that it is at this location, but nothing terribly specific. So if you want a dongle for something like a pet collar or to put on your kid while trick or treating or playing in the park, I think this is probably a budget friendly option; You’ll be able to go “they are within 70 feet of where I am” or “they’ve gone further than 75 feet from me”, but not for items like keys that you know you unlocked your door, made it inside, but now you can’t seem to find them.

Useless if the app can’t background properly.. Anything positive about this app is cast over because it won’t background properly. The connection times out after 30 minutes and the finder starts to go into lost mode beeping until the app is manually refreshed. This renders the product a useless nuisance.

Casino Freebee Junk. Received two as a free gift from Hollywood Casino in Charlestown West Virginia. I received two of them, neither one works at all. I downloaded the app trying to get them paired and set up. Nothing worked. Glad I didn’t pay for them. I guess I get a couple key rings and a couple batteries that are probably dead.

It only tracks for about four feet. This product only tracks for a couple feet, not worth it at all. Once you move the device away from your phone it won’t stay connected.

It won’t work with iPhone at all. I tried returned it but the new one didn’t work 😡 either, wast f time

Worthless. Never got it to connect. Shame someone paid money for this and gave it to us as a stocking stuffer.

Don’t buy. I should have known for the price that I wasn’t getting a quality product - downloaded the app and added the trackers to my 3 sets of keys - all night long they were going off alerting - even with the app closed and the alert if connection lost setting off- I had them on one night before I tossed them in trash

Doesn’t work. Bought two, wasn’t able to connect either device to my phone. It did make a sound when I tried to turn it on, barely.

Almost gave up. It didn’t seem to want to pair with app on phone. Curious to see if it even had a battery, I pried open the triangle. It did have a battery which was attached to a smaller triangular board-the “brains.” I discovered the on the flip side from the battery side is a very tiny button in the center, which when I pushed it, the thing began to work. I think it will work but there is nothing in the instructions to say that you need to push hard on the symbol on the outside casing to push that tiny button so I’m sure that why most people don’t think it works because they don’t push where they need to press to activate button.

Buy a happy meal instead. Anyone giving this any more than a one star is absolutely either paid to do so or hasn’t tried it yet. If you close the app the unit will continue to beep until you reopen the app. Good way for someone to track your every move. If you walk away into another room, the unit will beep. This thing is completely useless unless you like being spied on.

Help. What way should the battery be placed in the unit?

Running App Constantly. It's inconvenient that you have to keep this app open all the time in order for it not to beep.

Worst. My device doesn’t appear on screen when it says search

Great!. Very easy to us! Just follow directions in box on how to turn on device. It connects to app. automatically. Very happy. My son kept hiding my keychain just to find it! Lol

Traxx it. You get what pay fr I see why it was only 5 bucks 5 bucks is not much but it still should work I’ll never buy something like this again

Works good.. So far so good. I downloaded the app. Turned on the device tags. Linked them to my app. Bluetooth works good. Alarm loud enough to hear across the room.

Item does not work. Tried several times to link including a new battery and nothing synchs!

Traxx it. I got the app set up passcode then once my item was 75 feet away from phone alert went off. When I opened app asked for passcode I entered and would not work nor let me reset locked up on me. Not very good security when apt locks and won’t allow passcode recovery

Don’t buy. This item and UI for the app is all so weird.. you need the app up and running for it to work and when you stop it from running the tracker goes hectic.. location radius is only 75 ft to.. UI and item needs work.. I bought 3 off impulse for Christmas presents, returning them all soon.. buy a tile or a dupe for the tile on Amazon, can’t be any worse than this. Glad I tested it out before gifting.

Works great - ignore the instructions. I almost gave up on the thing, especially after reading the reviews. I finally got it to work by holding down the power button and just letting it cycle through while I hit the + sign in the app. It finally connected and works as advertised. It’s too bad the instructions are so terrible but for $5 I can’t complain since most other similar devices cost 5x as much.

Waste of money. Bought two and neither worked. Even after playing around with the batteries. Don’t waste your dollars on this.

I bought 5 at a dollar store non work. What a waste of money. It’s not a conciliation that they are cheap. If it doesn’t work then I consider it blatantly fraudulent. Such a shame because it’s a great idea.

Scam. It doesn’t do anything. Can’t connect or beep. How does this app got approved by Apple? Omg!!
