works greta BUT. it keeps disconnecting out of no where and it takes a while to set up. realize a an update pleae?
It works but it’s really laggy and it’s annoying and it’s way too much money you should of made it $4.99 instead of 11.99
It worked when I first tried it but it says my profile is not signed in when it is and now I basically paid $12 for nothing. I have good internet, I use ethernet for my xbox and a 5ghz network for my phone.
I love this app if I get grounded and my controllers are taken I can still play my Xbox, but it would be even better if you could play on the go.
Not well suited to competitive, fast-paced play, but most games are forgiving enough for the slightly gooey response times to be a non-issue. NOTE: Graphical quality seems to have no bearing on input lag.
I'm able to play games on my network so it isn't too bad but the on screen controls are basically useless and the inability to really change them is a weirdly lacking feature. Hopefully they'll keep supporting this app as there is a lot of promise. Might go for a refund though.
I have been using about a month. Long as you are on a 5ghz you will be fine.
I use this app to help me read and see the screen more clearly since the TV I have is not so great and it has been working quite well! I’m pleased with how it is but here and there I get a few issues with it disconnecting randomly if this were to be fixed it would make it even better for a player experience
The app is pretty dang good, i dare say it’s almost perfect. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the input lag is a bit much and it does lag spike a bit. I don’t know if it’s just my setup or if it’s just the app but it’s still worth the purchase.
I love this a lot just wish it wasn’t so laggy
Really super neat app, once set up works like a charm. A couple notes: Make sure you have a 5GHz router and your xbox is connected by cable to the LAN. Try using an MFi controller for ultimate in house portability. And if you need tweak your xbox resolution setting and the in app setting to get the performance you want.
When I first looked at this app I was quite anxious of losing $18 dollars on an app that might not even work. But I took the risk and it was well worth it! I had no TV for the night but wanted to play with my mates so I downloaded onecast on my iPad with hope I could still play my Xbox without a tv, it works great. The display is smooth and game play runs perfectly fine. Very good purchase, great job guys!
Great app... I can airplay from phone to the apple tv with very minimal frame dropouts. While playing. Apple tv version would be even awesomerer .
Such a waste of $$$🤬🤬🤬
Bought version as was mislead into thinking it was one licence for Mac OS X too which it ist support told me to take it up with Apple... Clearly not helpful
Please make a feature for over the internet play I can’t stress enough this is a feature that must happen
If I could use my Xbox controller it would be worth trying out, but without that it’s kind of a bust unless you have a mfi controller
I love that I can use my Xbox on my iPad Pro! The only request that I have is to please add the ability to connect when away from home. That would take this app to the next level. I have r-play and that feature is amazing.
Its hard for me to play off of this app on my phone. I have my xbox connected to the Internet via ethernet and my internet is fairly good i’d say. But its a great app and everything just wish it wasn't that delayed for me, i’ve turned the graphics on the app down to low and its still near unplayable.
This has the worst lag ever I want a refund
Excellent app. Works for iPhone and iPad. And working with midi devices means can just connect and play headphones in in my home.
Works great and barely any delay, only thing it has some problems when trying to connect
Works very well
Don’t be fooled by these five star reviews, not saying they’re fake but, it’s not as good as they say it is. There isnt too much lag but it will mess you up a lot of times. There’s only a few games you can manage with this and even then it’s just better to play on your tv. There’s also times where it will start acting iffy and the screen/audio will glitch the heck out.
Can’t connect to Xbox using up or same internet. Refund?
I am so happy now I can take advantage of my iPad Pro at full resolution 4k using my XBOX ONE X in any space of my house whit out bothering my family for the TV make sure your Xbox is connected to Ethernet cable and your IOS device is on 5Ghz and enjoy full resolution no downs!!!! Of course one more thing your internet is up to upload speed min 50Mbps and for download 50Mbps otherwise you will experiences lag or curing video but the app works as expected it worth the money and amable any IOS for stream your XBOX!!
I’m delighted by OneCast, it does exactly what it claims to, is simple to set up, and has wonderful support.
