New Hardware and Best Internet Speeds for Great Gaming. I find that OneCast works best with newer Apple Hardware, High ISP speeds, and close proximity to your XB1. Some games that don’t support OneCase include DragonBall Kakarot a JRPG/RPG that uses no internet connectivity. I’m assuming games that don’t use XB Live wont work? You can dull down the settings which helps for lower speed ISP. I played games like Tomb Raider on OneCast and only had issues with intense game play. Prob not suited for hardcore gaming where lag can be an issue ie competitive Call of Duty, etc. It would most likely handle a Fortnite PUBG or Rocket League well due to less intense graphics? Idk.

Amazing!!!!!. I just want to state first that I very rarely make ratings but this app is absolutely amazing!!! I can’t believe how well this app works it is extremely worth the money ..I was a little skeptical at first even reading the comments saying how good it is. But everyone is right this app works fantastic and 100 percent worth it. I highly recommend this app. I’m using it on my iPad with the I think 10.5 or 11 inch screen and there is no lag and the picture is amazing. I’m going from my 60inch tv to my iPad and I have no complaints at all. I do recommend doing what they say about hooking your Xbox directly to the router because I have no lag doing it this way . So like I said this app is worth the money and it’s very easy to set up probably only took me 5 min or so including reading the instructions. ENJOY GAMING 😁

Way better than downloading app files of “mobile versions” of games. This app is REALLY COOL. After my first day as a newbie I got it to work. And let me tell you, this app is awesome! You can play all your games on your Xbox (as the ads tell you). Not only that but I was able to connect my Xbox controller to my iPad so now I can play Xbox on my iPad with my Xbox controller. If anyone is looking to play mobile versions of games that are Xbox exclusive, and just happen to have an Xbox with those games, then download this app NOW!!!!

Amazing!!. This is a phenomenal app! I had a couple of issues at first but that was my fault for not researching proper controllers and what I could/couldn’t do using my phone/tablet. However, I have never had to wait more than a day for a response from their support team and they have patiently guided me through everything to get this up and running! They are extremely knowledgeable and more than willing to help us out! I can’t recommend this enough!

This app is the bomb!. I was hesitant about spending the money on this app initially, but I sort of just had to take the leap and oh my gosh I am so glad I did! I. An stream my game on my phone flawlessly. I mean in my opinion it works better than the stream feature in the Xbox app. There is very little lag especially with a high quality internet source. Just have your Xbox hooked/wired up with a LAN connection and you are good to go. I mean I am blown away. Great job to whoever made this!

Simply Great. Paired with a controller, this app is a must have for a serious gamer who would like to roam around their home unhindered by not having a television in front of them. It can be used like a Wii U to control the game on the tv, or simply free up the television so someone else can use it while you still play. The input is pretty good for a video game streaming service, and I’ve even played FPS games with it before with pretty great success. I really can’t find much fault in this app, it rarely disconnects even as opposed to remote play from PlayStation. There are other apps but none as reliable as OneCast

Great!. Just got the app and works great so far, I will update if any issues, but so far so good, on another note to the dev, as good as this app works I would pay another $12 for an app that does the same function for the Xbox 360, why I say another app? Because I wouldn’t want this app to get any bugs due to making it work on both consoles, but if it’s possible for both on one without any issues I still pay a second fee to use both consoles, it’s that good, thanx for the app and keep up the great work.

Good app but a few annoyances. The app is a good idea and runs fairly well but for twelve dollars you would expect better but i think a few people are being unfair, of course your not gonna be competitive in shooters or multiplayer games this app is really good for single player/single player focused games like nfs forza and other single player games no your not gonna get perfect framed but they do advise you use a lan cable, but pls devs try to make it to where you don’t need a lan cable because your target audience is probably people that want to play there games on the go. Which brings me to my next topics please let us stream the game in the background so we can play with friend in the same console. Thank you for reading

Audio lags, xbone controller triggers, start/select don’t react. Using with an iPhone XS, on a home network where I can stream to wireless laptops perfectly fine. I also stream FROM my pc via Moonlight and PS4 with remote play, both generally work great, moonlight especially. With no official Xbox streaming app to iOS as of June 2020, I tried this to stream my xbone and was rather disappointed. The image is excellent, and but with zero jitter or packet loss, and a max 15 ms if lag, I found the audio about 500 ms behind. Aggravating but not a deal breaker. What IS a deal breaker is that the triggers or start/select (and the “Xbox” button), are all nonfunctional on an official Xbox controller! They all definitely work in other apps, and in particular streaming to pc the controller detects as an Xbox 360 controller and works perfectly via Moonlight, so its not the controller or the phone. The image quality is great and if you’re ok using a virtual controller or remapping buttons a little i guess it’s YMMV, but I’m requesting a refund and leaving this review to warn folks away. Not that great. Fix the controller at least! And preferably that audio lag!

Uhhh, WOW!. Let me just say that my Wife would always be upset if I played my Xbox in the Man cave because we weren't "spending time together". This app has literally helped tremendously with that situation! She can watch her shows on the TV and I can do my thing on the iPad and we're in the same room "spending time together". As for app performance it's pretty good! I have ideal conditions to be fair; 100Mb Wired internet and a 2018 iPad Pro. Here is the deal, if you're looking for something to make gaming "better" it's not that, but if you have a unique use case this will do the trick! Worth every nickel...

Over priced and doesn’t even work well. I have looked at reviews on this app a lot in the past before making a decision on a $12 app. The reviews made it seem like this app was great and that made me exited. When I got the app it seemed good since there are no adds and there are a lot of customizations to many things in the settings like video quality (which could get very high for streaming). But then I started to notice that the app would constantly not connect when I wanted to reconnect to my Xbox and would lad a lot when I was at high resolution even though I am running 250mbps-300mbps WiFi. I don’t think you would have a problem with the app if you didn’t disconnect and reconnect to your Xbox, but I know for a fact this app is overpriced and I would recommend just trying to get a screen with hdmi instead of streaming to a device.

Terrible. Don’t buy this. I paired it to my Xbox one and followed all the instructions and requirements. Somehow, on low video quality, it is the best video quality, but on medium quality, you can barely make out shapes and figures in whatever game you are playing. Also on medium quality the app crashes the most, with over 2 crashes per minute!! It is extremely laggy and barely playable. I tried to play Forza Horizon 3, the app crashed constantly, I couldn’t play for more than 10 minutes. The audio quality is also very bad and constantly cuts out. This was the case for all of my games, no matter how low I set the video quality or how close I got to my Xbox one or how slow I went. It lags pretty much every time you do anything, even when exploring the game menu or the Xbox menu. Such a total waste of time and my hard earned cash, idk how everyone else had such a smooth experience, but I had the exact opposite of this. If I could get a refund I would.

Very fun app. I liked this a lot although I don’t find it very helpful if I can hardly leave the room. I can only reach the bathroom and I think the distance should be extended and it would be fun if you could play while driving somewhere far. Also if we are going to be playing on iPads and phones I think we shouldn’t have the Xbox on. Overall my gameplay experience has been fun not to many glitches and it the glitches don’t bother me much. So I think it would attract a lot more people to buy this app if they knew they could play away from home. Thank you for your time

Awesome. So I finally decided to try this app, because of the extremely disappointing announcement that certain cloud based streaming services which I won’t name, won’t be coming to iOS. I was a little hesitant to spend $12 on it, because I was nervous whether it would actually work lag free or not. I can not believe how well this works!! I have my Xbox One hardwired to my LAN and am using medium quality on my 5ghz network (device is an iPhone XR) and it works nearly flawlessly. If I increase the quality it starts to stutter just a little, but it still looks great on medium, I think it’s still at least 720p which is good enough for me. On medium there’s no lag whatsoever and I finally have the portable Xbox I’ve always wanted but Microsoft never made. Now, I can play Halo or Forza sitting on the couch with my wife without hogging the TV in the evenings. Worth every penny! Feel dumb that I waited so long to spend the money. Thanks so much!

Truly amazing.. This app does exactly what it describes, In almost perfect quality. I reluctantly bought it thinking it was going to be another disappointment/waste of money. The reviews were screaming good but I’ve seen that before on different apps and didn’t have the same experience. This app is easy to set up, simple to use. I play forza horizon 4 on it when my wife takes over our living room television and the difference in playability from the tv to my 8 plus is gone within minutes. Thank you Devs this is my favorite app from the market. I put it right next to my messaging app on bottom bar.

Actually works!. So I downloaded this app to play my Xbox on my phone and it’s works! If your were like me and was sketchy there is nothing there not telling you it’s awesome there is one problem I would love to have a way too play 2 players like pvp mortal kombat but I think my needs are satisfied but I have a question what is the purpose of this app play your games on the go? No because if the Xbox turns off you can’t play😣 witch is a Little disappointing because what if your traveling to let’s say...Florida you can play Fortnite with a Xbox controller (and bad LTE internet) but otherwise i say it’s a must get😀😀😃

Simply works. I had an unusual situation. Needed Xbox to be working without tv at all, was moving to another house. I have set the app via WiFi when I was in first house, brought Ethernet cable, console and game pad with me to second house. So basically I had iPad, router and Xbox. Plugged in cable in router, waited a bit for Xbox to get a DHCP from lan and the simply launched Oncast on iPad and boom - a picture of main menu popped. So it seems app binds either to MAC address or Xbox profile ID. And i want to give a huge thanks to devs for this. You really shocked me. Keep it up. Totally worth it’s money. Must buy.

Lag. I attempt to play very frequently but my gaming experience is ruined by lag I played everywhere in the house even right next to my Xbox and I cannot go 20 seconds without a freaking lag spike disconnecting me! All in all if you have the choice do not get this app I would like a refund immediately. Also why on earth does it say lag free I bought this app with the intent off a clean lag free gameplay but boy was I wrong because the lag is horrid I attempt to play at my desk where I would usually play Xbox and it still lags I want to speak with customer service on the phone immediately to attempt to get this whole situation fixed up because as off right now I am fuming upset of the false advertisement that this company had put out

Fantastic!!!!. I absolutely love this app! I have no issue playing my Xbox using this app. I don't have my Xbox hard wired to the internet and I still rarely experience any lag or glitches. (It still happens but it doesn't lag very long and everything snaps back to working very quickly) It works great on both my iPhone XR and my older iPad. Great for sitting on the toilet and not missing any game time. The only thing I could wish for out of this app is the ability to stream games over mobile data. So if any of the developers are reading this please please PLEASE!! Work on that for a future update. With the Xcloud service coming out I don't see any reason why this feature wouldn't be possible. I understand that it would require 5g and unlimited data but it would be so nice to be able to leave my Xbox on at home as a server and play full games while not at home. I couldn't recommend this app enough and have been telling everyone about it since I bought it. Very very worth every penny they are wanting for it. Great job Dev team!! Thank you for building such an amazing and useful app.

Perfect Experience - Just Needs tvOS Support. I’ve had the Mac version of OneCast for awhile and it has been an excellent solution for streaming my XBox One to another room. Controls are spot on with no lag time that I’ve noticed. I have very few issues with the feed pixelating but that’s usually more a function of your router (I have my gaming setup on a dedicated network) than the software. I will say that my experience with the iOS app is actually even better, dang near perfect, compared to the Mac experience but that may be a function of running it on an iPhone 11 Pro Max vs. a 2017 entry-level MBP. Regardless, if you have an XBox and are looking to take it mobile throughout the house, buy this app. P.S. - Developers, now we just need a tvOS version so we can stream on bigger screens. Controller support is already there.

Awesome App. This App has been very useful for my household. Because of my Xbox setup. I have a full racing rig in my bedroom and sometimes I just want sit back on the couch and play something other than racing games and now it’s possible thanks to this app. setup is quick and the app is easy to use. I recommend using medium graphics settings on the iPad. And you will have very minimal lag or glitches. If you have decent WiFi speeds. The price of this App may seem expensive but the quality shows. And less we forgot we are talking about using our Apple devices to play our Xbox. So of course there will be an Apple tax lol.

Worth the price. Honestly, I was suspicious that a 3rd party app would be able to do what the official Xbox app couldn’t. It really just puts Microsoft to shame how well this works. The built-in on-screen controller isn’t great, but AT LEAST IT HAS ONE. It also feels like a problem more with the hardware I’m using. Would be cool if you could customize the sensitivity of the control sticks. Regardless, though, this app just works AND you can actually play original Xbox and 360 games on your phone, something that you cannot do with the current official app. Just craziness.

Great App but.... The app is great and is really useful and unique. The only problem that I have is that the home page of the app is really bland and could use some customization. Also, the network connection from the app to my Xbox is not the best. Not sure if it’s my network connection but it glitches a lot and looses connection most of the time. Also I think that it is extremely expensive for this app and that they should at least lower the price because it really is not worth what it is. In conclusion the app is good but could use a lot of improvement

Totally worth it!. I bought this app not even a week ago (as of writing this) and it works very good. The way the app works is it finds nearby xbox consoles that are powered on and requires you to sign into the account on the xbox. Afterwards you can simply click the big green “play” button and it streams to your phone with very little latency. The app is meant to be used with a wired connection to your router. However, if you can’t use a wired connection you can turn down the quality on your phone with a WiFi connection instead. Other than that you should probably only buy this app if you have the money to spare

Sweet!. Well I will say that this little app is neat AF! What I could do on my laptop for streaming I can now do on my phone, makes it easier for playing Xbox but without the huge laptop. I was skeptical at first but it’s worth the $12 if you’re really looking for something like this. Only thing I can think of is maybe setting up a VPN for even more remote connectivity when you’re far from home and on the go but still wanna pop into a game real fast just to check something.

Idk why people think this is slow. I got this app because It seemed cool and I wanted it when I got it, my only problems was that the on screen controller is bad, I have to login on the Xbox, and I can only play at home, other than that it is great. I was able to use it on a different floor than my Xbox with only small lag (Short network issues) once in a while. Later after getting it I looked at the reviews to see what people think and I am surprised so much people think that it is laggy. Maybe that means I just have good internet but, If you buy it, there is a chance that it will be laggy and you won’t like it.

Pleasantly Surprised. I read a few concerning comments about this not working for some, or lagging. I have a 75dl/10ul type connection and a solid AC1900 router with my xbox plugged directly into the router via ethernet. I have very little to no lag when using an Xbox controller near my console. I wanted an extra screen for when the family room was occupied and this has been perfect for use with my iPad. Been playing Witcher 3 with no problems. Main gripes are that I can’t switch apps at all without this disconnecting and having to reconnect (usually to a white screen; pressing xbox button usually clears this), there isn’t an option to display battery life (which it goes through quite steadily while playing games), and you have to re-register a console with each individual device you want to use (e.g. iPads, iPhones). It’s close to a perfect streaming solution for xbox and iOS. Seemed a bit pricey for an app, but one days worth of use was worth it alone.

A decent solution. I got this so i wouldn't have to move my system from one room to another. Its pretty straight forward and simple to setup. Basically it views a live cast from your console with control overlay on the screen. It works surprisingly good! I have the system hooked up to a fios gigabit ethernet connection and a iphone xs max or ipad air and it runs very smooth. I can even hook up a wireless bluetooth controller xbox or ps4 and it does a very good job of controlling the games. My only hope is that it would come to the apple tv. I can airplay to my apple tv and its ok but there is quite a bit of lag especially in sound and made it difficult to play fps games or things that use fast movements. It still wasn’t bad i could manage but it could be better. All in all tho, for $12 im not going to complain much. If the developer could bring this to apple tv and make it run as well as it does on ios for tvos that would be amazing! Then it could run off an ethernet wired connection and watch on tv basically like a remote system, kinda like pstv... but so much better.

Half second lag on mini.. Don’t get me wrong, this is a novel idea. My wife likes to watch shows I have no interest in and visa versa. We thought this would be a perfect solution, but it’s kind of a disappointment. I connected the controller to the iPad no problem, and the setup overall was simple. The screen size is small as expected on the mini, but I don’t read much on madden anyways. The issue I had was a quarter to half second lag. Then graphical hitches and lag stops during any movement. If you have a mini I wouldn’t recommend unless you were playing something like civ or a non-action oriented game. I don’t know if it’s any better on the pro, but my internet is not the issue.

Extreme lag and disappointing. This was an absolute waste of money. I bought this and connected to my Xbox. I tried to play madden 21 which is like the only game I play on the Xbox. At first it seemed ok it was a little laggy but worked great. Then I tried to play a match against someone online and it was extremely laggy. The game would stop and then a second later my player would be 5 yards away from before and then it would repeat. I got sacked almost every play because I didn’t know what was happening because of the horrible lag. DO NOT BUY THIS APP. It is an absolute waste of money. At least if you try to play madden. You can do the same remote play type of thing with the Xbox app for FREE. Sincerely, Truman

Very Legit. I played Xbox in bed while laying down but I gotta be honest games that don’t require multiplayer online they run almost seamlessly without lag and it’s so cool but as for online multiplayer with some games in particular they can run somewhat smoothly and others are just unplayable but the app suggests to connect the Xbox console to a Lab cable Or Via Ethernet for 100% smooth lag free gaming but for me I’m simply running wirelessly and I never get any lag issues while playing online but through the app it can become a bit choppy and sometimes unplayable but for games that are on disk or in general single player in an open world. It works Very Very well and im definitely going to continue to use it when I don’t feel like sitting in front of a tv. Love the app totally worth the Price for an upgrade in features and variety.

It works. I was extremely skeptical as to whether this would work especially when you’re talking $12 for an app. I went ahead and got it. Let me tell you they aren’t kidding so long as your Xbox is plugged into a LAN line and you’re running 5 gHz it works perfectly! I no longer have to watch my children’s shows all day whilst staring at the joy of my gaming console wishing I could log some time into my favorite games. I don’t have to “share” the tv as my wife pretends to watch her shows while playing on her phone. I can enjoy all my games and all I need to worry about is on rare occasion the sound skipping. Easily a 5/5 app and totally worth it.

Really good app for such a low price. This app is great it has almost no delay time and it runs just as smooth as normally playing at your Xbox gaming set up. It gets a little laggy sometimes but that’s about the only problem. It’s VERY easy to set up. It scans your WiFi for Xbox consoles connected to the same WiFi as your phone/iPad/Mac book. And then it shows up on your screen. And then all you have to do is click the little tab that says Xbox one and it will start connecting automatically. Amazing app would buy again.

Works very well. I use this app quite a bit. Depending on how far away you are from the console, the video can be right in sync, or be about 1 second behind. After that, it disconnects. The audio is always either half a second to 2 seconds behind the video (again, by how close you are to the console) You can actually connect an xbox controller to the ipad/iPhone and let you use a controller farther away from the console, but adds about half to 1 second of input lag (making the video seem even more behind)

BORDERLANDS 3 USING ONE CAST FTW. I recently got this app and have been running my Borderlands 3 on both IPhone X and 2nd Gen IPad Air. Both devices work flawlessly and there is virtually no lag. I was skeptical at first but as long as I am hardwired with Ethernet on my Xbox One (first gen) and using 5ghz WiFi on my iPhone X or IPad then I have had literally no issues using the streaming service One Cast offers. I have been able to easily play from my backyard, upstairs bedroom and YES even my bathroom (don’t judge). The only issue I have had is my Wireless Controller losing connection to the Xbox One however this is no fault of the app but the wireless range of the controller itself. I have played online Gears 5 and even CO-OP SplitScreen Borderlands 3 with a 4 player party and I have yet to discern any noticeable lag time. I am a fan of this app and the developer and I can’t wait to see it develop even further and add new features. :^)

Overall this app is great but I have one problem. So I purchased this app so I could play Xbox remotely without the need to bring my controler everywhere I go and it does solve the problem of wanting to play Xbox in my room and not having to move the console but one thing I wish that this had was support for long distance support like the Xbox app for example with the Xbox app I could play my Xbox using a wireless Bluetooth Xbox controller from my school with my Xbox all the way at home I wish that this app had that capability although I do understand how that might be difficult to implement overall this is a greet app keep up the good work

Works! But...... I am happy to report that this works as intended. I have no knowledge of technology and was able to set this up easy. It rarely lags and works well with a controller. However it does not work if you leave your home and you have to have a room relatively close to the XBox for it to work. Also a tip hook your controller up to the I pad itself (using Bluetooth) instead of the XBox. Another problem I have is that i do believe the price is a little steep but they are making bug fixes and it works exactly as advertised so can I really complain. From my experience If you want to play XBox but don’t want a get a TV this works perfectly!

Worst app don’t even bother wasting your money. Worst app don’t even bother wasting your money! This app is a joke so they begin by telling you how you can now access your Xbox one every where you go….. ha not even close, more what they should say is access where ever you can go in your house as long as you can access your wifi and when I mean only your wifi that’s no LTE no friends wifi and then the nail in the coffin it costs 12-13 dollars to buy! This thing has yet to connect anywhere out side of my house! I’m sure is was like you guys and having problems with the Xbox app which had really bad lag pixelization” I mean awful pixelization” so I looked for an alternative and stumbled across this joke of a app and it promises the moon but delivers a huge, I mean huge dissatisfaction! If you are like me having trouble with the Xbox app fear no more cause I have the answer for you….. hard wire you Xbox it’s that simple as soon as I did that the Xbox app runs perfect because when on wifi trying to play on a system that’s on wifi we’ll it’s understandable that your gonna have lag, pixelization and glitchy results! So remove the wifi to wifi and hard wire you Xbox to you modem or router and I promise you will be good to go! I use anytime with LTE, wifi on my friends, doctors, fast food places etc. you get the point just please don’t waste your money on this ridiculous app I’m requesting a refund as I type so, BEST WISHES AND HAPPY GAMING!!!!!

Very worth it if you like playing in multiple places around the house!. It’s defamatory worth the price although you can’t play it anywhere you can as long as there’s a connection and as far as I have got from my basement to my loft it gets connection if your thinking about it don’t bother with other apps it’s so easy one button and it connects. Only downside is that it doesn’t look the best cause of the connection, but still more than playable!

Amazing, More than I Could Ask for. I’ve spend too long trying to find an app that streams my gameplay on it flawlessly and without lag. Onecast has been so useful, and I hardly experience any lag. When I do, it’s because of my wifi (which isn’t the fastest, i’ll admit). I love the concept of a built-in controller, you can legitimately play console games on your phone that way and that has brought me happiness :) The app is a bit pricey, but it’s the best $12 I’ve ever spent

Works great.. So the app works great. I'll give some pros and cons here at the beginning with details below. -Pros •Works well on even spotty wifi •Small amounts of lag/stuttering on wifi, some of it caused by loading and resuming the game •Works better then the Xbox App on Win10 laptop (for me) -Cons •Best played on games that don't require quick reactions •Have to unplug my Xbox and manually connect to the app everytime I use it They recommend having your Xbox hooked up with an Ethernet cable but it's works fine on wireless. Because of issues such as spotty signal connections and ok speeds (10mbps up/down) the stream will sometimes stutter, pause or lose connection. Most of those though are when the game is loading, I resume the game after pausing and when certain types of cut scenes play. I'm sure if I was wired or had better wifi these issues would be barely noticeable. There is some lag, so I'm mainly playing turn based games. I did play a single player shooter for a bit and it was okay. A little difficult to aim and move but was doing alright. For some reason though this is working way better on my iPad Air 2 then my crappy laptop. Maybe it's because the iPad is newer and the laptop is breaking down but I'm not sure. I will say though that the app almost never see my Xbox, so I have to manually put in the IP address to find it. Even then though I have to unplug my Xbox every time I want to use the app. Either way I would recommend getting this app.

Glad I bought this. Mostly good streaming quality, sometimes the quality is bad. I have 5ghz connection to iPad and hard wired Xbox. Line of sight from the router with my iPad, still there are drops in frame rate or screen tearing. This is not common but happens occasionally. I had a second tv for Xbox gaming but it’s in a different room and I’m essentially cutting off from family if I’m in my gaming room all the time. Using this app I can be present in the living room where my wife watches tv and also keep an eye on my kid. I keep my iPad on the counter top where I eat dinner or drink coffee and get a quick gaming session going. Wife talks to Me, I can pause and respond and get back to game. I’ve played a good chunk of metro last light already streaming from this app.

Doesn’t work when Xbox is connected to WiFi. Doesn’t work when Xbox is connected to WiFi even if very fast WiFi that can handle 4K transmission. As such, the app does not make it convenient to use the Xbox remotely as it requires Ethernet connected Xbox. Very archaic. Also, it even randomly hangs midplay (video only not sound) if Xbox was connected to WiFi. See I would have expected it to be slower than Ethernet but not hang. As such, app is not reliable. That said, the OneCast Mac App does work well enough without hanging when Xbox is connected to WiFi and not directly via Ethernet. You get a bigger screen on the laptop/desktop anyways, so I recommend it. Still, I’m disappointed with iOS app as I would have wished to use my iPad reliably without moving my Xbox away from the TV all the way to the only room in the house that has an internet connection jack just to use Ethernet. That’s the whole point behind WiFi. Get on with the times OneCast!!!

Best reliable streaming app ever!!. I don’t know how but this app works so much better and smoother than the actual Xbox app itself!! And this app connects to my Xbox Every. Single. Time! Not even the official Xbox app itself does that, this app does it perfectly! Games like Mortal Kombat, Contra, and Call of duty Modern warfare multiplayer were all pretty smooth on my end. Being able to use the touchscreen as a controller is a nice touch but I’ll stick with my controller. For references, my xbox is connected via Ethernet and my IPhone SE is connected to my 5G wifi. And like I said, the games I played all ran smooth! And I’ve been able to stream to my phone every time! On the official Xbox app, it would always tell me there’s an error when connecting, and once I did connect. Frames at times would be a bit messy... With this app, and the right setup. You will not have that problem!! 10 bucks is a bit steep but if you’re like me and can’t be in the same room as your Xbox often, it is worth it! Highly recommend!

App works great!. I am very surprised by this app. I didn’t know there was a way to play my xbox one games on my iPhone or iPad. You are able to use the on screen controls, or you can use your xbox controller (if you are physically close enough to your xbox one). You can also use those controllers that connect to the iPad/iPhone. 95% of the time there is very little lag, but it depends on your network connection. I have 100Mbps WiFi at home and I am using the 5Ghz WiFi connection. I think it’s very reliable. However you can only use this if you are on the same network as the xbox one you are trying to use.

Amazing. This is probably one my my best purchase iv made. Im a collage student living in an apartment but i dont have a tv for my xbox, than i found this app while looking for a way to play on my computer. All i had to do was connect my ipad and xbox press play and it works perfectly. The who setup process didn’t even take five minutes. There almost no lag and it works for multiplayer games too. I highly recommend it because seriously why pay 600 plus for a tv when you can pay 12 bucks and do the same thing.

Love this app, use it frequently to game.. We have two Xbox One’s in my house so if my kids are using the one in the living room I’ll use the one in my office and stream it to my iPad or my iPhone XS Max so I can still game and sit with them. On a gigabit connection via a Nighthawk XR700 I experience practically no issues or lag. The interface is easy to use and it connects most of the time. One suggestion: I would really love to use the iOS 13 controller support and play my controller via my phone rather than having to be close to the Xbox One I’m streaming from. I don’t know if this feature is blocked by Apple or Microsoft and not possible, but if you could add it that it would make this app incredible. Thanks!

Phone crashes. I like this app, using with my Gamevice makes it even better. The one thing I have a problem with is the constant crashing. It was fine when I first got it, then a few days later it started crashing my phone sending me back to the Apple boot screen. This has never happened with any other app I downloaded on my device. It was Once or twice in the beginning now it happens every time I use the app, and multiple times too. It’s getting pretty annoying. I contacted support but they didn’t fix the problem yet, hope it’s soon though. If it wasn’t for that this app would definitely get 5 stars from me.

The Best Xbox Streaming App for IOS. I am so happy now I can take advantage of my iPad Pro at full resolution 4k using my XBOX ONE X in any space of my house whit out bothering my family for the TV make sure your Xbox is connected to Ethernet cable and your IOS device is on 5Ghz and enjoy full resolution no downs!!!! Of course one more thing your internet is up to upload speed min 50Mbps and for download 50Mbps otherwise you will experiences lag or curing video but the app works as expected it worth the money and amable any IOS for stream your XBOX!!

This is the best thing for me!. Seriously , this app is wonderful and allows me to play and share the tv with the wife and I can play longer sessions than usual because she can watch what she wants and I don’t have to get off, I played the Witcher 3 for a solid 45 mins on this thing. I did have very minor lag, but it was brief and I was able to enjoy my time playing it. I definitely think it’s a bang for your buck. Allows you to play your games when you have to share the tv. Games look very good on the screen for a solid 1080p. And I’m not sure if my one x is also enhancing it as well, but it looked so darn good playing the Witcher on this thing. Thanks for this app 😁

I wish I found this a long time ago!. I, like, everyone else was hesitant about paying 18 bucks for an app but boy am I glad I did! Super simple to set up and use and works brilliantly! I thoroughly enjoy sitting out side on my balcony playing xbox now 😁 Thank you Owen Stanley!

Yeah it’s ok. Would be nice to have a option to broadcast sound and picture because i only got this to use my airpods on my xbox

Doesn’t work on series x. Sadly it could be a great app, but doesn’t work on new console.

Awesome!. Really super neat app, once set up works like a charm. A couple notes: Make sure you have a 5GHz router and your xbox is connected by cable to the LAN. Try using an MFi controller for ultimate in house portability. And if you need tweak your xbox resolution setting and the in app setting to get the performance you want.

Easily the best $19 I have ever spent. Plays Forza horizon 4 almost beautifully, streaming from my One S console. Notably, there is a bit of lag sometimes and the sound is delayed by about a second. Asides from that, best app ever. It plays Forza horizon 4 at around 1440p 24fps with a few frame drops here and there. Range from console is about 10 metres before it starts really lagging.

Good. This works great now I had a bit of trouble at the start but now it is all good so this is amazing

My favorite app👏. This app has been very useful on various occasions since I am not aloud to have a TV in my room I have been able to use this if and there is no downgrade of quality ( I would recommend using this app on a iPad or laptop for the bigger screen. This app is definitely a 10/10 I would recommend to anyone who has to share a TV.

Lag. So laggy, will be requesting a refund, games are unplayable

Wow why buy a monitor. Don’t be scared for the $18 I was for ages. Then bang I was like I don’t wanna fork out $200 when I have an IOS device so I did it and super happy. I did and it works. Super easy had no drama worth every penny thank OneCast team.

Worked for a few weeks. Now can’t find my Xbox keep getting error asking me to turn it off and then replug back pls fix

It still lags. Hi sorry it still lags could you do an update on the same features

10/10 would recommend. After owning the app on my MacBook Pro I thought I’d give this a go. Can confirm: works perfectly. My Xbox is plugged into my router with a network cable, as recommended by the developer of the app. I’ve got the newer Bluetooth controller which seems to give a bit more range. I had issues with previous controllers losing connectivity at no fault of the app, I was simply too far away from the console. Highly recommended, but make sure you follow the instructions and have your console plugged in directly to your router and connect your iDevice to 5GHz WiFi for the best possible results.

Constant drops - don’t buy. Got followed the instructions, I have a fantastic internet connection and still drops. Can’t play on mobile as so unstable. Also put this app on my iPad again wouldn’t work for longer than a few minutes. As soon as I input a command the connection fails. Waste of money. Do not buy.

What I wanted. Good connection to my phone, still good visuals from my iPhone X, no lag, and I can still get use my Xbox controller with it, it’s everything I wanted from this app (plus good little feature, you get to edit your on screen controller to your preferences)

App complaint. Hi please fix the app

Great but!. Please make a feature for over the internet play I can’t stress enough this is a feature that must happen

Love it. I love this a lot just wish it wasn’t so laggy

Nice. Works perfectly. But would be awesome if I could check it when I was at work.

Awesome app. Love this app. I was very hesitant at first being worried about spending $18 on something that may not work. But yay works perfectly I have had very little and rare lag but that’s running totally on wifi instead of with Xbox wired to router as advised. Would definitely recommend this to anyone being able to sit in my room or even outside with my iPad and play is terrific.

Best app. I’m soo proud of the team who made this app if I don’t have a tv and wanna quick game on ur phone this app work no lag feel like a Xbox there a few lag but not that bad

Great but. One problem I have is that I have to turn on my tv first before it will connect properly and half the time it won’t connect to my xbox.

Stuttering & Crashes. It’s getting worse making everything unplayable

Rarely works. App rarely connects to my Xbox OneS. Followed all the setup instructions to the letter but this app is extremely inconsistent. On the odd occasion it does connect the in game controls don’t work and I have to reboot my iPad and console multiple times just to get it to work. Very frustrating!

Don’t buy. Don’t buy.. won’t work outside your home

Works great!. I love this app! Great work to the devs!

Review. This is a very good app, but one problem is lag. Is there is no lag then this app will improve. 😀😄😀 This app needs better improvements, the lag is a real problem, or else it will waste people’s money

Not great support. Bought version as was mislead into thinking it was one licence for Mac OS X too which it ist support told me to take it up with Apple... Clearly not helpful

Should be 5 stars. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because can’t change Y axis Other wise I’ve had no problems with the app works great with Xbox one X and controller has no lag

Eh. Not very good for $18, seems to be that every time I press PLAY, it connects for a few seconds then disconnects! Bit of a disappoint and a waste of $18. Tried different networks turned both phone and Xbox on and off and still does the same thing. Maybe needs abit more software attention for connections.

Brilliant. This app works so well! I have played it for hours and hours now and its perfect with my iPad. iPhone takes a little getting use to because of the size of the screen but works just as well as on the iPad with no problems whatsoever. I’m so glad I bought this app. Thanks guys 👌

Problems. When I am trying to record a YouTube video when I broadcast the OneCast to my Xbox and while it’s screen recording on the phone. It keeps on glitching for me sometimes.

Fixes. Onecast is really good but I think you should make that you can play at other places without your Xbox on

It doesn’t work please fix. I spent 20 dollars pretty much and it didn’t work I am on my iPhone 8 hoping I can play at night and it keeps losing on registering Xbox and I left it to see if it works and I doesn’t I really won’t you to fix that

Works perfectly.. 10/10

Totally awesome. Works well it’s just a good app.

Did not work. Such a waste of $$$🤬🤬🤬

DEVELOPER PLEASE READ!!!. PLEASEEE add a VR support! Even though it’s 2D! Splitting the screen in 2 halfway can allow me to play and Xbox game on my phone that I can slip into a VR headset! PLEASE add this!! Other than that I love it!

Unreliable and buggy. Extremely unreliable, connects one day and another day it doesn’t. Their support ask you to go through hoops to tell you what’s wrong, I’ve been back and forth with their support 5 or 6 times and still no result at the end they just close off my ticket. disappointing

Brilliant. Fantastic app worth every penny! Instructions say Xbox needs to be connected to internet via LAN cable but I have been using wifi with only an occasional bit of pixelation. Great app.

Would not recommend. Bought this thinking it would work(it doesn’t ) as soon as I bought the app I got on and it crashes as soon as a touch the app

It’s good. But I thought you didn’t need the Xbox on.

Worth it.. It seemed pricy but for what it does it’s invaluable. I use this app daily and grateful to have something so well maintained and reliable. So few apps please me as this one does. You should buy it and support the dev. Would rate higher if I could.

It was fun until Xbox app made the feature. The app is useless now

Awesome-ish. Great app... I can airplay from phone to the apple tv with very minimal frame dropouts. While playing. Apple tv version would be even awesomerer .

Jury is still out. The controller seems to work fine navigating the Xbox menus, but as soon as I load up forza, it seems to lock up, I can get out of the game using the Xbox button on the controller, but nothing else in game works. Support said make sure the controller is connected before firing up OneCast, no luck there. Tried with a charge and play adapter (basically a wired controller), still go go. Going to try with some other games and request a refund if I have the same results. I feel two stars is being generous when the purpose is to play games without a tv, only so much joy to be had going through the Xbox menus.

Great app. The app is amazing but right now I’m experiencing a black screen when I play Need for Speed Heat, it worked before

Awesome!. When I saw the 18 dollar price tag I was worried, I wasn’t sure if this would work or not seeing all the other fakes on the market. But when i purchased it it ran smoothly with very little lag and latency, I like that they made it so that you can either use an on screen controller, or your own, and that you can customise the on screen controller. I only have one issue which might not be to do with the app, I play Call Of Duty Modern Warfare and sometimes when i move the screen becomes really fuzzy, but seeing other reviews, that might be my internet. Great app!

Perfect. Works as advertised

useless now. since the new xbox app update this app is useless, had fun while using this app

Great app. When I first looked at this app I was quite anxious of losing $18 dollars on an app that might not even work. But I took the risk and it was well worth it! I had no TV for the night but wanted to play with my mates so I downloaded onecast on my iPad with hope I could still play my Xbox without a tv, it works great. The display is smooth and game play runs perfectly fine. Very good purchase, great job guys!

Doubling up on platforms. App works well. Expect to pay twice if you want to use both on Mac OS and IOS. Cash grab - no reason to double charge. Unfortunate of the developer to do that.

Disconnect. Keeps disconnecting, wish I never bought this app

wifi. should work away from the house

No lag at all 10/10. You can play all Xbox games on phone not even IOS 13 it’s amazing get it now

Trash. Super bad I hate it don’t spend your money on this stuff

ZERO lag on VHighQuality!. ZERO Lag EVER using Very High Quality setting on all games!.. My setup is basic but wanna detail it for any curious would be buyers on the fence... I have a blistering fast internet setup w Rogers Ignite here in Ontario Canada, my console is a WIRED connection into my wifi modem/router ...I use 5G wifi w OneCast on both my iPad Pro & iPhone 7 ...Both Nimbus & GameVice Mfi’s work flawlessly(as good or better than xb1 cont) ...if I’m on the same floor as the Xbox I use my Xbox one controller ProTip - Use Xbox iOS app to power on console if far away or just lazy.

Actually works. I’m was sceptical at first , but am very happy with my purchase , not going to lie it feels a little off when playing , but I can only assume it’s because of latency , not bad to where it’s unplayable but just good , you can definitely play online multiplayer like call of duty and still react just as fast as you where playing on your console , you are going to need good internet (5ghz) doh, But other then that the app is amazing. I did get a lag from time to time (every once in 20min )but what Wi-Fi doesn’t drop right ? I have a big family so we’re all connected to the same network , so I had to tested it out with a different network (friends house who lives alone ) and surely enough no lag .

Best app for Xbox 1 owners.. This app is amazing. Allows me to play all my Xbox games on my I pad. Great for playing while the family watches a show I’m not Interested in. I played all of far cry 4 on my iPad. Worked great. Some times you might have to reboot but only once and awhile. Must have for Xbox owners !

Works great. No latency!!!

If you dont have crazy strong internet dont waste your money. You have to have ethernet plugged into your wifi router from your xbox Im extremely disapointed in the fact that i also have to pay for the version on my mac however

Basically kicked me from using it. It said I was a child I’m 23

Almost perfect…. Now it’s perfect for Xbox one BUT could use an update so OR a free upgrade version (if you own the version for xbox one) that works for xbox series X/S also have it on iPhone and Apple TV box pls

Xbox serie X not working. Work really good with xbox one but im not able to connect with my serie X :(

Awesome app. This app is amazing it is great for grinding in GTA five

Does what it promises excellently.. This app allows you to play XBOX 1 games anywhere with high quality and frame rate, however, you'll get a small input delay, but that's expected when streaming. Overall, this is an excellent app if someone is hogging the TV or if you want to play somewhere else than you usually play.

An incredible feat of technology. OneCast is astonishingly simple and straightforward to both set up and use. It works as advertised, and very smoothly I might add! This is the sole thing I’ve bothered to purchase on the App Store and I dare say it was worth every cent. OneCast is a technological marvel the likes of which I haven’t seen before on a mobile device. Setting it up couldn’t be any easier, and once the initial setup is finished you’ll find a very professionally designed app streaming your Xbox to you at a silky smooth and steady framerate with almost nonexistent input delay... providing your devices are properly configured (wired ethernet connection from the router to the Xbox and a 5ghz WiFi connection on the phone works nicely)

Playable on Xbox One X. I can play Xbox One game remotly with this app.

Very Laggy!. Works good for about 30 seconds then starts to stutter a lot and, then losses connection to XBox. Rebooted iphone (7s) and Xbox many times. My XBox has wired connection.

Great for what it is.. I have Shaw wifi600, this is an amazing app for screen sharing, the on screen controller is a bit off, but this app is for an Xbox on the same wifi as your phone so the Xbox controllers range should work fine. Extremely low input delay, in my opinion this is the best option for any Xbox players looking to use their phone or iPad as a mini tv for around the house. (Just use your own controller) definitely worth the $16.

Great initial release but.... This is great for what it does right now. Please make it work with the Xbox and IOS on different wifis and cellular would be Great too. R-Play for PS4 has these features right now so I commonly use that app more. Otherwise good app!

Terrible. Worst app I have ever installed

Parfait!!. Je parviens à jouer a tous mes jeux sur mon ipad air première génération et sur mon iphone 8. Les graphiques sont clairs et détaillés. Aucun lag. Je recommande fortement cette application de streaming.

Awesome. Best app ever

It’s glitchy and lags a lot. Can u please fix all glitches because u said all bugs are fixed but they r not so can u please frickin fix them before I contact the creator myself and confront him

Terible. Don’t buy super laggy

What a complete waste of money. This app will definitely make gaming a garbage experience and also the lag time when using it is very frustrating. Good concept but a complete waste of time/ money. I’ve tried using it with different types of games and well it’s definitely a complete waste of time and money. Just stick with using a proper controller

Works but not great. Sometimes it streams perfectly and sometimes it’s soo laggy it’s unplayable. I have gigabit internet and a gaming router so I’ve ruled out my home network as the problem. Not 100% where the issue lies but it’s super inconsistent.

Terrible. This is a waste of money don’t buy this you can only play when your Xbox is connected to the same wifi as you’re phone. Also it’s very laggy and Apple won’t refund me the money for it🤬🤬🤬

Conseil. Avant de jouer à quoique ce soit avec cette application, relancer la et ensuite jouez. Sinon je suis fier d’avoir acheté cette application.

Used to be good….. When I first started using this app it would work great with my Xbox One. Now that I have upgraded to a Series X it sadly doesn’t work. Add Series X support and I’ll bring that review up to a 5

Thank god. Worth my 17bucks for sure I finally found what I was looking for thanks

Highly Recommended. I wouldn’t make this a ‘Paid For’ app considering everything els we have to fork money over for, however this is fantastic :) Works seamless! Very low latency and can control quality

I would rate this 5 star but. I connect my tablet to my Xbox series s please add support thanks and great app worth the 17$

Make work for Xbox series x. I did everything for it to try work for Xbox series x but it doesn’t

Sucks.. Laggy. Glitches. Stops working almost Immediately. Hardwired in and still trash. Don’t waste your money.

Fails to connect. The app needs a massive over haul. I play my PlayStation 5 with ease, connects to remote no problems. Xbox…. Omg I have never had so many issues trying to connect my Xbox to this app. I’m constantly trying to get solutions.

Constant crashes. They should pay you $5 to try this app vs paying for it. Complete garbage and waste of time. A little lag but constant crashing and freezing, truly awful... do not waste your time.

Smooth. I use this on my gen 1 iPad Pro 12” with no issues. I connect my Xbox one S with LAN and have the 500u internet package with Rogers, and use the 5G option. At times when I start the OneCast app I notice a lag/stutter. But I just restart my iPad and that fixes the problem. I just wish the Menu, Change View and Home button actually pulls up their respective screens instead of having to touch select it on the iPad screen.

Upgrade it for series x. Been using this for quite some time now 2 years or more, it works really well as expected with the xbox one. Now that I upgraded to a series X it’s not working anymore. And no I don’t want to use the xbox app because I make YouTube videos. The xbox app has a water mark and 3 dots it’s annoying so I prefer onecast. Till then this is a 3 star. I will make it 5 once you make it compatible for series x Or I’m willing to rebuy this if I have to

Great app. Lets you play 360 games. Great app allready goy my moneys worth. ONLY WORTH IF YOU WANNA PLAY 360 games on your xbox one, from your phone. If you wanna play xbox one games just use the official xbox app. As its faster then this.

Won’t let me stream. Won’t let me stream off Xbox anymore even though my Xbox works for it

About this app. This app is pretty good but I’d like if there was better connection and quality on it!

Pleasantly impressed, definitely worth it!. I'd been eyeing this app for months, wondering if it was really worth the cost. Now that I finally ended up getting it, I can definitely say I don't regret buying this app! It works as described, and although they recommend hooking in your console directly to your router, I've found my wi-fi connection to be strong enough to play almost seamlessly. Only times connection becomes an issue is if I'm way too far from my console (far enough that even my controller won't stay connected). The on-screen controller is also pretty great, they give you the possibility to move and re-size every button, and you can even add and remove plenty of other buttons. In conclusion, if you're hesitating, don't. This is worth it, as long as you use it correctly.

Not worth it. Works once - then doesn’t work again until like a day later

App for xbox on iPod touch. It does not work well for me to playing on xbox

It works but.... It works as described. However, it is ridiculous that I had to purchase 2 licenses. 1 for my computer and the other for my iPhone. 1 license should be enough for both. As a consumer when I found out buying the app on here wasn’t going to give me access on my mac as well I felt under valued and disrespected.

Fantastic App. Before plugging my Xbox into my LAN, I tried using this on wifi only. It wasn’t very successful. After relocating my modem and connecting wired to the network, I’ve been able to stream all games, from Battlefield V to Forza Horizon with NO Lag at all. Just connect your controller to your iPad with Bluetooth and you’ve got a great extension to your gaming.

Lags. It lags a lot and disconnects from my Xbox if fixed with next update would be exactly what I was looking for but so far not happy with it and regret buying it

No Lag. Use this app when u are On bathroom 😂

Now that is just cool !!!. Not only is it amazing on many types of OS systems and devices from old too new... but it works flawlessly!!! And I only expected and wanted wifi usage only. And that is exactly what I got !!! 10 out of 10

Xbox Series X|S Support Is Here!. After patiently waiting, the support has finally been added! Again, this app is worth the money. In my household, even with my son streaming Netflix and my wife working online, I am still able to seamlessly stream my Xbox Series X to my Apple TV with no noticeable lag at all. Thank you all so much for releasing a fully fleshed out app free of any bugs!

Seamless streaming from Xbox One. The streaming works great and if you have a great internet connection you can even set it to high quality. Unfortunately, the on screen keyboard doesn’t work well. I would recommend always playing with a controller. I’m in the other room and the Xbox One is at least 50 feet away and it still works with the wireless controller.

Exceeded expectations. It took me a little while to finally buy OneCast. The 12 dollar price tag made me unsure. Also, multiple reddit reviews said it was laggy and slow. After buying it, my only regret is I didn’t buy it the second it came out. Wow, is this software really nice! There is zero lag on it, and the graphics are far superior to streaming your xbox onto a windows laptop. Don’t be hesitant to buy this, it’s worth every penny.

I love it, but. I love this app. I use it a lot for when my family is watching tv. But I think this app has a little issues. Every time I start the app up, the app takes forever to connect to the Xbox, and when it connect to my Xbox, it freezes 3 seconds after it connects, and disconnects again. I followed every instruction the app tells me to do, but it still lags and disconnects a lot. Please read this message and fix the bugs.

Amazing, but needs something else. This app is astonishing in multiple different ways. It doesn’t lag, it doesn’t turn my phone into an oven, and it has great display. The only thing I like is for it to support use with VR goggles (ex. Google Cardboard) so I won’t have to deal with holding my device and it’ll feel a bit more immersive for first-person games.

Awesome and worth it. I would highly recommend this app for anyone that needs an extra screen for their Xbox on an iOS device. I recommend using the controller while it is connected to the Xbox however I don’t have the best WiFi speed but haven’t had any streaming issues at all

AMAZING APP!!!!!!. At first 8 thought this was a scam because I thought that’s it’s impossible to play Xbox GAMES on an IOS/Android Device but I was VERY bored so i decided to give it a try!!It was Awesome I got to Play GTA V,Rocket league,Red Dead Redemption,Left 4 Dead,Left 4 dead 2, If You haven’t Downloaded the app I am telling You it works everything is good it lags but like for 2 seconds!

Works Amazing. I was a bit nervous about this app at first but after setting it up and trying out GTA Online on it, I was hooked. Best app for this as of June 4, 2019. If you’re on the fence about it just spend the money and get it. Just note that this still requires you to be in range of the console to use the controller which I’d highly recommend. Overall, a very good app for streaming Xbox!

Great app, but it needs some UI/UX tweaks to be 5 stars. The app does exactly what they say it does and performs very well. My issue is with the use of the start button on Apple TV. When you press start on an Xbox controller connected to an Apple TV it opens a menu for Onecast. You then have buttons for the guide button and start along with Onecast specific buttons. That makes pausing a game a 3 step process (Start, right, A) instead of the expected 1(start). Please consider changing the behavior of the start button to be start button on press, and maybe open the Onecast menu on a long press. If that is not possible consider the combo action of select and start together. Thanks.

Solid remote streaming solution for the Xbox 1 and 360. This app is worth the price. My hopes are the developers stay on top of this one, as they have up to now. It’s solid. Has not failed on me once and streams from my Xbox 1 and because I have my Xbox 360 plugged into the hdmi tv input on my Xbox 1, I am able to play all my 360 games using OneCast also. Perfectly. No lag. Thank you for such a great app.

Phenomenal. It literally JUST WORKS!. I’ve been an iPhone user since the original model, and I’ve downloaded hundreds of apps. That said, I’ve only cared about two or three apps to ever write a review about them. The OneCast app JUST WORKS. Simple and fast to setup, and that’s it. You’re in business. I’m honestly shocked that it worked at all, let alone how GOOD it works. Works like a charm on my iPhone 11 and iPhone 8. FYI - there is a tiny amount of lag, depending on your network speeds. BUT, in my experience it’s not very noticeable at all for most games. However, if you’re playing very lag-sensitive, online-games like PUBG, Call Of Duty, etc, you may not find this small delay/lag acceptable. Nice work, developers. You’ve got my business in the future!

Unfixable Lag Issues. PC is connected via Ethernet and all of my mobile devices are using 5ghz WiFi on the least congested channel where I live. Speed tests are fine according to support and from what I can see everything is setup properly. After several exchanges with support no solution was found and I purchased this app for nothing. I see it has worked for others but it has never worked for me even though moonlight and steamlink stream my pc games to my devices so well you can barely tell it’s being streamed. I was excited for this but sadly it doesn’t work for me and likely never will.

Update. When’s the next update, and make sure OneCast that it supports better with WiFi connection it have a issue with app kicking me out. When I contacted OneCast support I was told to use land connection. That was a big help thanks, I feel that apple let’s OneCast show fake advertising. Please fix the problem soon. Or not my money back

Not Sure What the Hype is About. Let me start off by saying I am not using an Ethernet cable for my Xbox. Unfortunately it can’t reach based off of where my modem and router are. That being said, we have excellent WiFi (half a gigabit speeds). There is constantly lag and stuttering. The idea and execution seem good but the constant stuttering makes even turn based games unplayable. It’s possible this is all due to not having my Xbox hardwired (a risk I was willing to take). Maybe you’ll have better luck than me going straight to your modem. But it’s a no go for me unfortunately.

Amazing app. Just works!!. I don't usually write reviews for apps but this app deserves it. Amazing app. Just works. All the time. Never a hiccup. Has really changed the way I game. For reference I mainly use it at home only. With a decent wifi router and an Xbox one x. Worth the price. Only feature request. 2 finger pinch to get to fit screen mode and back. You have to exit right now for it.

XBOX MUST BE CONNECTED VIA WIRE!. The Xbox has to be connected via wire, it will not let you stream otherwise. In the description they say you "should" use LAN but, when you open the app you realize it won't stream through Wi-Fi. The developers are being purposely misleading and they basically stole my money. This app is useless to me now. Edit to Respond to developer: It is most certainly true, sir, and I thank you for your prompt response. However, that is the situation I'm in with this app. I'll keep deleting and reinstalling and making sure my wifi and router are updated and working properly but, I'm certainly not the only reviewer claiming this. So far it is not working as advertised.

Great app!. Great app out of the gate! One recommendation though is the be able to somehow dial in the sensitivity of the onscreen thumbsticks. I found playing a shooter game is tough when using the screen overlay controls. I know I can use an actual Xbox controller, but part of the allure of this is making Xbox games playable on a mobile platform. Good job though! No lag from what I could tell.

Problems occurring. The app overall is great since the stream is usually working and with high quality. The Xbox app stream requires a way better connection, this app allows you to chose your quality of stream. The problem though is that the sound never matches with the stream, there is a 2 second delay which makes some games really hard to play since you need to be on point. I hope the developers can fix this.

Read this. So my dad got this for me a while ago, and at first it was fine running smoothly and a few lags. But later like after 4 months it all of a sudden connects to Xbox and then disconnects like really?? And it got so bad that I had to get up and walk to my Xbox and stand right in front just to connect, and then when I go back upstairs (my Xbox is in my basement) it disconnects again. So it’s a good app with streaming but the lag is horrible. And always read the good and bad reviews before buying an app.... Thank you for reading

Pretty good. So I use this app daily and find it a pretty good app to use and everything but the mobile controls is great! My main three problems with the controls are that the controller layout is for a ps4 controller, there are some important buttons missing like for instance the home button is not on the screen, and the main four buttons are missing there correct letters. But other than that it is a great app to use.

I love this but. This is an absolutely amazing app but I would like it though if I could go on the road with it this is the only app I can use on apple product and Apple confirmed now that they will not be adding the new xcloud to Apple store id even pay more if you could get partnered with Xbox game pass so we could have access to those games that are on my Xbox

A wonderful app that delivers on what it promises. This is a wonderful app that cannot get enough stars. Allows me to play my xbox on my ipad or iPhone, flawlessly, and works immediately, with no lag or feedback, and is a complete mirror of the Xbox with no limitations. The xbox official app now allows remote play, but is spotty at best and does not allow backwards compatible titles even when it does work. This does not have that restriction. Wonderful app.

Very pleased.. I’m extremely grateful for this app. I have remote play on my PS4 and ever since I started using that I needed the equivalent for Xbox. I use the app daily and have never had any issues. I personally use an Ethernet cable with my Xbox and have occasionally run into stutters which is to be expected, but if you are only using WiFi I have a feeling that the app wouldn’t work nearly as well. so do be cautious of that. but for me, this has been an absolute game changer.

The phone controller is kinda bad. Hi I love to play mobile and record them so I like to mix match the controls but the controls for xbox a put that on phone I don’t like the big problem is looking around it is so scuffed I try to go to the right and it would go so fast on the lowest settings so can u pls add the looking stick not as a button but as the background like other games on phone. I want to record without getting ticked off because the controls thank you

Still the best streaming app for Xbox One. This works very well. And even though the official Xbox app now allows remote play, this seems to connect faster, has an on-screen controller option, and lets you adjust the streaming quality. This is still my go-to app for streaming my Xbox One.

Amazing. The app is amazing. It would be 5 stars if and when they allow me to have my xBox controller on the iPad. I have the larger iPad Pro and the game play for Modern Warfare is amazing. Even with both on WIFI the lag is hardly noticeable. I moved the xBox to a hardline and now it is perfect but now I have controller connection issues. They get that one thing worked out and this will be the killer app for the xBox. My wife is loving it because I can play the game while she watches TV.

It just works.. Can’t believe I hadn’t thought to download this app sooner! I’ve been playing Gears of War 1-4 on my 2017 iPad and it streams beautifully. Direct Bluetooth controller connection (using iOS 13 beta), but being close to your Xbox works too. Make sure your Xbox is hardwired to your router and your device is using a 5GHz connection and you’re golden. Easily worth the $12.

Almost Perfect. App Works Great. Usually there are a few crashes every now and then but that’s to be expected on its first version release. MFI controllers work flawlessly with it used my steel Series and worked like a charm. So Far only thing this app is missing is letting you play outside your network where I know a lot of people are looking for I know if this feature is added a lot of people would find this app more enjoyable on top of what your getting now.

Great app. Overall I’m very satisfied but disappointed that u can only “zoom” the display instead of filling your screen I run my Xbox games on very high quality on my iPad and iPhone 11 and I have no lag and I’m over 2.4ghz WiFi however the zoom thing is the only issue maybe you can add a fit to screen option? I mean paying 13 dollars for a app that Microsoft is basically giving us for free in a month should have all the nooks n crannies. But anyways great app just wish it filled my screen 🤷🏼‍♂️.

Simply incredible! Worth every Cent!!. Works flawlessly with my iPad(6thgen) and iPhoneX I recommend this to anyone looking to play their Xbox on their apple device. We live in a roughly 2000sq ft home with 100mg internet speed, only towards the edge of the WiFi does the signal strength diminish requiring a lower resolution (which is so incredible to have the choice of low/med/high/BananasHD!) Seriously worth every penny, I tried for months maybe more trying to manipulate apps here or there to try and stream my Xbox to my iPad with no success at all I had given up. I stumbled upon this app by accident and it has gone to become my single most favorite app that has ever been in the App Store! Ignore the price limit, you WILL NOT REGRET IT Thank you Owen for making this dream a reality for me

So much potential. Such I great app but please consider adding customizable buttons for the on-screen controller like being able to put any of the buttons anywhere and be able to map them. Also, adding 3D Touch in the controls would be amazing! Being able to shoot just by pressing with pressure on the screen would make gameplay so smooth

Omg. So I went to play destiny 2 which has always had really long loading times. Even without my Xbox hooked up with an Ethernet cable the loading took less then half the time it has been taking and only had a few glitches while playing. It’s been really incredible. Best service I’ve ever found for this!! Highly recommend!

It’s a dream. I have been looking for something like this for too long and I have finally found it this is a wireless stream app that allows you to stream your Xbox onto your phone or tablet it’s great runs pretty good but can do better I would also like the main menu to look better to me it looks a bit old but it’s the best app never have to told to not use the tv

Works as advertised. Never have I ever left a review. Been on Xbox for about 9 years. Honestly can’t believe Microsoft hasn’t bought this developer. It says not to be used with the console connected to WiFi but mine is granted it is google fiber but honestly it’s maybe 1ms of lag. Incredible app. Make a setting to fill up the entire iPhone 10 screen without having to use the zoom setting please.

Xbox One on iPhone. The app works great on my iOS13 iPhone X using a DualShock 4 to play my Xbox One. Xbox One is wired into network and my phone is on a 5ghz WiFi. Looked and played beautifully. Only minor issue was that the PS button and the start select buttons aren’t mapped to the DualShock and you have to use the onscreen menu buttons for those, but it’s not a big deal. It would be nice to map those in the future update of the app.

Great app!. It was one of those things that I expected to be too good to be true. But when I did some research on this app and finally downloaded it, it works amazing! I never thought it would work this good. I doo recommend using an Ethernet cable for better connection but honestly wireless internet doesn’t work that bad either. I very much suggest this app if you would like to play games on ur iPad, iPhone or any other device. :) 👍

It’s Ok. Anytime I try to play a game I keep getting the same issues. No matter what game whether it’s Forza 4 or Destiny 2 whatever I do I keep getting the same message “The Xbox One was disconnected” and I have no choice but to say ok and get kicked out of the app. It does this no matter what I do. I’ve played with my phone within 1 meter of my Xbox. I’ve played only on WiFi because I don’t have an Ethernet cable within convenient range. Is there anything I can do, I’ve already tried turning the video quality to low and it makes no difference. Please give me some tips or help.

Need quality WiFi connection. Once u have the Xbox set up on the same network as your streaming device then everything should work. If the stream is slow then you have connection issues an need to relocate the WiFi router to a place where your streaming device can get a better signal. I’m using a google mesh WiFi and a iPad . Also use my iPhone 11 sometimes.

Great and worth your money. At first the app wouldn’t even run and I didn’t know what was going on. I wasn’t using a LAN cable which isn’t recommended and isn’t needed since the app still runs so good, but I was using a non 5g internet which was the problem. I just had to switch to it but you got to make sure that’s what your using. Otherwise you’d get sad like me thinking you wasted your money. It’s a great app works awesome

Amazing. I recently moved and I couldn’t find any hdmi cables to play my Xbox, then I remembered I had this app so I streamed it onto my phone and played from there. The latency is very low for an app like this. One issue I have is sometimes the buttons don’t work with some of my games. It wasn’t an issue for me though because I still had my controller.

Why I’m upset. Well now that the Xbox app gives almost the same mobile feeling I feel that since I spent 12 dollars now that is a waste because the Xbox app now give almost and if not the same feeling of mobile gaming from any room a suggestion U would like to offer is make one-cast a cloud gaming app because I got this app out of the misunderstanding that I would get to play in the phone and someone else could play on the console can you please considering fixing this.. thank you

Really Cool. It works really well. I don’t know why the guy who gave it one star thought it was so awful, but I think it’s amazing. It has very slight lag which can mess you up in quick response games, but what do you expect? The price is a little high, not a huge negative. Overall really cool. I am a little concerned about Microsoft eventually shutting them down. Side not: You could potentially do this for your PS4 as well if you run it through your Xbox HDMI in. I imagine the lag would be pretty bad though.

Like Magic. I am amazed at how well this works. What a great job from a clearly innovative developer. MS should have packaged this as feature along with the XBOX - it would have been one heck of a selling point. A few things you need to know: 1. You should use a 5 GHTZ router 2. It is not PERFECT, but it is close - quite good - very usable 3. The onscreen controls are not bad, but it is better using your XBOX controller within range of your XBOX 4. You must be logged into your XBOX in order for it to work. If not a nondescript error pops up and tells you to contact support. To fix, just log into your box. 5. This one app will work with both your iPhone and iPad. Fantastic. Really terrific work developer. Thanks!

Great app. I used this on my iPhone 11 Pro and on my 6th generation iPad. No complaints except for the audio. I don’t know if it’s just my Xbox but on both of my devices the audio lagged by about 3/4 of a second and even though it can run Rainbow six siege seamlessly, anyone who plays the game knows that sounds matter. This app would be perfect if they could fix the audio issue. Don’t let this stop you from getting the app thought because you can just use the game Audio from your controller if you want to.

Highly recommend if you wanna play on your phone/tablet. I was worried at first that I’d waist my money but it actually work great and it’s barely any delAy and I can still play CODMW , one thing I hope is that you can play anywhere and I can’t see what I type because of something that’s probably a bug with the App Store but I recommend this app it’s easy and it it actually works

Forza Horizon in bed. Finally I can sit in bed and play decent games on my phone at night instead of matching up three pieces of candy. I have had the screen freeze up once but I am on google wifi for Xbox and iPhone and 2.5 ghz. I also can play on the same couch while my wife watches reality TV shows. With my ear buds the audio is great. The interface works so smoothly I just had to add to the pile of good reviews.

Better than I thought. This is the perfect app to get if you want to play Xbox but want to rest in another room. At first I thought I was going to get scammed or something when I got this but Holy **** it works For me, it won’t let me get further than 15ft away from the Xbox with out it having disconnection issues but. This is one of the best things that I’ve discovered. I would definitely 100% recommend this

Incredible!!! (iPad Pro). The performance of this app on my iPad Pro is so much smoother than on my RazorBlade with the native xbox companion stream by Microsoft. It also solved my problem of being booted from servers because of streaming. I was able to play a full game of COD Black Ops Zombies without interruption with my friends. Nothing but good things to say about this application.

I can’t believe how well this works. This app is awesome. Totally worth the $12 to be able to play my games while my daughter is watching a movie. I’ve been playing Assassin’s Creed Odyssey with no issues. I do it on medium quality, but I could probably be ok with high. My Xbox One (original) is on LAN. I’m using a 2017 iPad and an Xbox One controller. I’ve had absolutely zero issues. Set up was really easy. Highly recommend this app if you have to share your TV.

Quality streaming but missing an important feature. App is flawless and does as it says, but for the price it’s missing key features. My Xbox one controller cuts in and out of connection, and I think the OneCast should also support bluetooth controllers to phone (like cod mobile for example), so instead of having to use the virtual controller, you are able to connect a Bluetooth controller (so there isn’t any cut out)
