In app purchase not restoring. I bought the full version of this. However it’s not showing the full. Version on my iPad. Can’t contact developer because their website is in Chinese. PLease someone help

3 major issues with an otherwise great app. Don’t get me wrong. This is my favorite app for flash cards. Good things: Import from Anki style apps. Automatically speaks flash cards. Graduated recall. The Japanese voice is pretty good, even though I did have to tweak spellings to get sounds correct sometimes. But these 3 things bring it down from “favorite by far” to “no audio? no thanks.” 1. App support doesn’t exist. Neither the app’s nor app store’s support/issues links or contacts will respond. Messages fly in to the void never to be seen again. The app store’s link opens a page in Chinese that has no actual content, even after running through translation. 2. iCloud and your phone don’t show backups. The app claims to backup on iCloud but there is no backup on iCloud or on your phone. There is no way to log into iCloud from the app. And from 1. above, there is no way to contact the developer to tell them about this issue. 3. There is no way to export cards. So you have 3000 cards? If you wanna go to a different app, you’re going to have to make them all again. In conclusion, I might go back to a different app, even though I won’t have the audio part that I really wanted AND I will have to remake a bunch of cards.

Technical problem. Hi, I love the app so much however I am having difficulty moving to the next card. It will not move on to the next card, making me reload the app on my phone or on the ipad.. this happens least 10 times within two hours of study. Please help

Fraudulent. Paying for the pro version on both the phone and computer seems silly and somewhat fraudulent. If it is on the same iCloud account should be transferable

Colors not working for editing. I like this for note taking but have not been able to use the color or text editing and this has been enormously frustrating

There is no way to export cards !!!!. There is no way to export cards !!!!

L-imitation: Notifications show •answers•…. As another reviewer mentions, notifications show the answer/back side of the card which is "bass-ackwards" The fact the app makes this simple mistake, And the app doesn't even have a simple profile/settings menu… This app feels like a hollow imitation of other anki/spaced-repitition apps 🙃

Not the Anki app I was expecting. This is not the Anki app for medical school I reviewed on some YouTube videos. I downloaded and payed for the pro version but it does not work as advertised. It is not intuitive. Perhaps a tutorial would help? I looked for one and couldn’t find it.

Can’t export decks. When you “share” a deck, only the first card will show up for the other person. It’s incredibly frustrating. Not worth using when there are a ton of other apps that allow you to share

A huge (Problem). First I”d like to say I use this app and have bought the premium version to further study,however a major problem is if I’m trying to study different subjects and create notes for that new subject it gets added to the overall number of all the cards I’ve made.I made tags for these different subject cards however theres no filter for (tagged notes).As a user I want to know how I’m progressing in a certain subject by number,but I get the numbers confused because I half to constantly remember how much cards I’ve added for the day.(I’m asking for a simpler way to organize the notes without going to the tagged menu if you can).I really like this apps and it’s helping me alot even now! Thanks!

Cant export car set. I even purchased the pro version to use tags ONLY to support the developer. Please give us am export option so I can share my decks!

Pro Version doesn’t transfer to mobile. You have to buy pro both on mobile and desktop even though the desktop version is meant to sync to your phone. It seems silly, and if I hadn’t made a bunch of cards yesterday before I found out, I would’ve found another app to use.

Crashes a lot, but sleek design and easy to use. The only complaint I have is that the app crashes unexpectedly (like at least once a day) on my computer and sometimes I lose my work. On the bright side, I upgraded to Pro to be able to add pictures and stuff to my flashcards, so I can better visualize the information I am studying and I love that. I can also organize my flashcards by tagging each into a category, and I can choose to review the cards based on the tags I assigned them. I also really like that my data syncs on all my devices.

Simple, effective, efficient. The simple design allows you to focus on the content you are trying to retain & explore. Effective with the timed study reminders. Efficient & informed is what you will be after you use this app.

Amazing but one problem. The app is awesome, but one problem is anytime you need to use the keyboard there's no obvious way to bring the keyboard down and stop typing to click on something else. There's also no way to export or download your deck or any cards

Trash. So disappointed that I wasted money on this weak app. Should have gotten Ankiweb.

Generally good. Hope can get the sync function between Mac and iPhone!!! Nice app!

Notifications Contain Spoilers. This app is great but every time you get a notification the information you on the back of the card is in the notification. You are supposed to be tested to see if you remember the back not given the answer when it is time for the test.

Anki. Great study tool for medical students, residents, and advanced practice providers!

No Handwritten notes. From the App Store pictures I thought this app is capable of handwriting notes using a compatible stylus for your particular device .A litttle disappointed it was not .would have given five stars otherwise .

Best Flashcard App for Self-Study. As an adult learner studying a language as a hobby, this app is far better than any other I have tried because of the way cards that you have already learned will return after a set number of days - even when you feel you have learned a word/concept solidly, seeing the card again in 30 days or 3 months is a great way to review/refresh/remind yourself and you may surprise yourself with what you have forgotten - unlike other programs where once you have “learned” a card, you may not see it again. Additionally, the automatic recycling of the cards is very encouraging to study everyday because otherwise they start to build up, and completing your list of cards each day is very satisfying. Almost all the settings are personalizable (such as how long until you see cards again, audio settings, card appearance, etc). There is a bit of a learning curve when setting the time-lapse setting, but overall the app is easy to use and feels quality. I have given this app a five star review because this app is the best flashcard app I have ever used, especially for self-studying without grades or a class to motivate daily study. If you truly want to learn, this is the best. HOWEVER, I have one significant complaint that I hope will be fixed in a new version - it is not possible to flip cards to study back-to-front or front-to-back. This is essential as it is a different skill to go from your native language to the foreign one, or vice versa, and both ways are essential and require practice. Please fix this!!!

Good but can use some improvements. This has been helpful but I’m unable to restore the purchase I’ve made for the desktop app. I also haven’t been able to import cards. And it would be great if the UX design could be updated to be friendlier for those like myself who find the customization features difficult to use. There isn’t a description or tutorial on how to use the features so i haven’t been able to customize the app for the benefit of my learning experience.

Not Supported by Anki Ecosystem!. I should have read the other reviews before I purchased but, this app is not supported by the Anki ecosystem. You cannot export your cards. You are stuck. Other than that, very nice app.

Could be even better!. I have created more than a two thousand cards, with 50-100 repetitions a day, so I think I have a good feel for could be done to improve the app: Most annoying bug: While you ponder your answer to a given card, it serves up *another* card, throwing you off completely! Please, always let a given card stay on the screen without switching, and add subsequent cards to the queue Most helpful change to algorithm: Apply random sequence to repetitions of a given day! Most useful new feature: Enable reverse questioning. This is very useful for learning languages. Most easy fix: Typo „Text to Remeber“

The best flash card app. It is the best stand alone flash card app, I love it and use it every day, but the catch being that it is a stand alone app, there isn’t a computer version, so it would be a pain if I didn’t have a Bluetooth keyboard, but I do have one so it’s no biggy. There are only two things I want, a monthly version to ensure the servers will stay up and a web app

Not worth to waste time on it. I believe the developer must spend lot of time on the UI design. However the logical of the App is so weak. Too much extra tap on screen, not very organized on these buttons on the banner.

how can I export??. Apparently share and export is not working on this app

Was really good - now won’t sync!. When I first downloaded the app (I have it on my MacBook and also my iPhone) the flash cards would sync. I would create cards on my laptop and the would be able to access them on my phone. Now it doesn’t sync! Cannot access all the flash cards on my phone!

Could really use a way to import cards. Like, I’m not going to sit here on my phone and type out two hundred flashcards. It’s just not going to happen. Any way you could write them on a computer and get them into the app would be good.

Nope. Deleting app.. I downloaded app. Bought the pro so that I could add pictures to my flash cards - I made 16. Great, but I had to wait 9 hours until app would test me. Not only did it show me the answer (back of the card), but it only let me test one card. I now have to wait 14 hours. I can’t test whenever I want. I tried to let them know but app took me to an unsecure site and I can’t figure out how to reach them. I’m going to try app again tomorrow (when the 14 hours is up) but if it does the same thing, I’m loosing and have wasted my money, because I’m going to delete this app. Update. Nope. Don’t like that it shows the answer WITH the question. I am deleting app.

Amazing alternative to the $40 “official app”. I really wasn’t willing to pay $40 AUD to get the official Anki app, so I stumbled upon this one and I was not disappointed. Ended up buying the premium for the customisation features and also to support the creators of this amazing app. I’m not the type to leave a lot of reviews, but this app was worth it.

Great APP. Simple and useful

Best option for iOS!. Just a suggested addition would be to add the feature to include images when importing Anki decks. I have the premium version but it still seems to filter out the images.

Pretty good for sure. It’s pretty good. I am a fun of this app and it’s substantially better than I expected. As you can see, my English skills is definitely improving. (I’m Japanese) When I started using this app, I was like this is really unpleasant because I don’t like STUDYING. But I kept going and now I’ve been doing continuously for about a month. Making flash cards is kind of fun. I do recommend this app! Thank you!

App seems ok, too early to tell. Haven’t been able to use the app long enough to review. Yet, I’m being prompted every 2 seconds to write a review. Only thing I’ve memorized is the popup ‘Like the app? Please review’ with a bunch of possible stars. Here is the review. Now please make the stars in my head stop. (Also, as an aside, why is the minimum stars 1? I would’ve loved to have a baseline 20% freely given in my exams.)

Wish there were more features. There is no option to randomize cards, I always receive cards in the order I make them unless I set different reminders on them. Also, I wish the tags could be better organized. I am a medical student and I wish there was a folder system to organize tags because I end up with several categories for different courses. I wish you could attach a photo into both the question (front) and answer (back) of the flash card. I especially don’t like how cards automatically pop up when they are due for reviewing when I am trying to go through a first-pass of all cards. I don’t like being distracted in the middle of reviewing a card. Therefore, I wish it counted how many times we reviewed a card so that it prioritized a first or second pass of all cards before an alert pops up for a card being due. The sync across all apple products is nice so I could study on my phone, iPad, and MacBook, but wish I only had to pay once for the upgrade.
