So… Are you saying that you won’t help us?. I’ve been looking through the recent reviews of other legacy users who are all-of-a-sudden unable to access their saved documents because the old CSHD version won’t open on the newest iOS, and the new CSHD version doesn’t even acknowledge the existence of the old version or its saved files. Was there ever a warning of a change this critical to your user base? I certainly don’t remember seeing one. Frankly, to suggest that users contact Apple support to get help DOWNGRADING THE ENTIRE OPERATING SYSTEM just to access the files locked inside this ONE app is ridiculous. Would it really be too much trouble for you all to work on a way that your loyal user base could unlock their original documents, even if it were to just export them to some other platform/space? It would be a nice show of appreciation to your faithful users by not leaving their files held hostage inside their own iPads. To ignore our pleas for help is cruel, and it would really be unfortunate and unnecessary to alienate your most faithful users this way. Please do better.

Can’t access our documents or the app we paid for. Developer abandoned the app we paid for, making a new identical app instead in an attempt to get paid again. Now we lost our documents and our money as the old app we paid for is broken. Developer needs to update and fix the app we paid for, or provide the new app along with access to our documents.

Syncing problems. I used to use that app for a long time. However recently I faced a big problem. 1- if you are on an iPad and want to send a pdf to CamScanner HD, it is not listed. You can’t do it. If you are on iPad photo and want send it to CamScanner, you don’t have that option from the menue. 2- it does not sync any new pdf files on your iPhone CamScanner or on your pc. I sent them a message and I hope they fix that issue.

Update ruined the app -zero stars. When I updated the app, it was NO LONGER USER FRIENDLY. I looked for a phone number for tech support and could not find a number to call. I sent an email asking for a call for help. NO REPLY. Months later, I accidentally stumbled upon a computer generated email that was sent to a 20 year-old email address. They asked if my problem was resolved. NO IT WAS NOT, BECAUSE HELP NEVER CAME. SO I CANCELLED MY ACCOUNT. I no longer do business with anyone who does not want to talk to customers by not leaving a phone. I don’t care how many calls they receive.

Loves!. I've benign using this app since 2013 for my husband's business. Literally the one one I will ever use. Tried others and they were so bad. This app is so easy to use, very convenient & stores all my scanned files without any issues. Once in a while, it does freeze, but not everything is always perfect. Best scanned app. Happy customer:)

Great for scanning on the go. I have been using this app for years, and it works great for scanning and image manipulation. OCR is passable, although I tend to save images as PDFs and OCR them in Acrobat. File handling could use improvement, but neither that nor OCR is a dealbreaker.

Scanned documents won’t open.. Scanned docs won’t open. It says they are corrupt.

Don’t like changes in the app last update. #1. The email addresses pre populated are great as long as you don’t need the top line as it’s not accessible #2. The send button disappears from the screen. It’s still there but you’re on your own to find it as it disappears from view

Button to save to files gone. When I use 'open in' and then save to files the button to actually save is gone. No OK button. No save button. I can navigate to the folder but I can't save it because there is no OK button. Update....the save button is still there but it's invisible. I have a screenshot.

Doesn’t sync. This app doesn’t sync and the CamScanner app isn’t for ipad.

Disgruntled. Developer holding users for ransom? It appears to access files from the past a person must now pay for the equivalent Cam Scanner app. I guess I will consider my old files gone and lost forever, I am not willing to buy the milk from a cow that was once free.

Doesn’t work anymore on my iPad. All over the sudden froze. Tried to uninstall and reinstall, but keep freezing after signing in.

Very useful in work or personal. From having warranty info, family history documents, or searching OCR from scans I find this app as a Time saver

Update the old version please.. Please update the old version of HD pro or provide legacy users with I way to get their stuff. I never registered but I’ve been using pro for years. I’m an educator and have been on break so I just discovered that you screwed legacy users. Don’t tell me that the app hasn’t been updated for years. I don’t care. I’ve been using it with no problem until this summer. Fix the old app so we can get our stuff. If not, then new users need to know that you are capricious and will switch versions of the app capriciously leaving them with no way to access their docs.

Does nothing but crash. I just installed on my new iPad Pro 2020. Open the app and all it does is crash. Very disappointed since I have used this app on ,h iPhone for over 2 years. I have emailed support so hopefully they will respond.

Stuck app. The app has been totally frozen in my iPad Pro 2020. I can't even sign out. To sign out I have to uninstall the app. It is rare that if it works under other subscriptions. the problem is that I am not interested in creating a new subscription since in that account I have documents that I need to recover. It was working perfectly until yesterday, August 9, 2020. What I can do? I will appreciate any help

Not working with current iOS update, free subscription.. Your solution to turn off internet, and try opening it doesn’t work! I too have files in the app, and to be locked out of it is ridiculous! Please update it to current iOS level, so I can transfer files. Or provide a solution please. I try to stay away from developers who do this kind of business, “it’s free”, BUT, we can shut you down without repercussion if you do t buy something from us. Great product up to now!! Chris

Address book malfunction. I used to love this app. Now when I type in the first 3 letters of the address I use often, it disappears as it’s the top address in this column. When I slide the screen downwards and touch this address it does nothing. The address lines are not full size anymore. Still my best way to send preprinted documents, but I have trouble remembering the full email addresses and the way this function used to work was great. lost all of the original images. Camscanner lost ALL of the original images and will NOT allow re-editing after upgrading to the new version. I’m extremely upset at what happened because I put in so much time into scanning the images. This is unacceptable.

Old Scan Files. I have been using Cam Scanner Pro for years. Somehow I have an older version of Cam Scanner Pro where all my scans are and it is no longer compatible with my current IOS operating system and I have the new version that does work but does not access my older scans from the earlier version. I don’t recall having set up a cloud backup and do not know how to merge my old scans into the newer version app on my IPAD. I am fearful that I have lost all of the files I had archived under the older version. There was no guidance or warning that one needs to backup your scans to ensure they will be available with future evolutions of this product.

Great App!. This is my go app for scanning. I’d give it 5 stars if the iPad app was capable of setting up folders to mirror what is on my iPhone. Hopefully that is coming in the very near future? I don’t want to scroll through 300 plus documents for something I need.

Freezes and can’t upload. The program scans beautifully, but then freezes when trying to connect to Dropbox or google drive. Kind of disappointing. It had worked great in previous versions.

Glitchy on ipad. I use the standard cam scanner on my iphone and its great. I have the hd version on my ipad (which is synced with my phone which I find very handy!) , but when trying to email scanned documents from the hd app the drop down list of previous email addresses is glitched and I have to re-enter them manually every time (its always been like this), however recently the send button is simply missing…..so I get stuck there unable to send the email and unable to exit so I’m forced to exit the app entirely to get out of there. You can work around it by saving the files elsewhere or taking the image on the ipad and then emailing it with the phone (the image sync is quick) but its klunky and time consuming.

Simple, neat and organised.. Great for scanning a lot of documents at once (I used it for scanning a short course textbook). I highly recommend this one for iPads and tablets over the generic camscanner which is not designed with tablet use in mind. A pleasure to use!

Useless iOS app. Never works in iOS. Difficult to share. One drive sync doesn’t work.

You’ve got to be kidding. Great app. I bought it when it was reasonably priced. Then it disappeared for a while, to be replaced by a subscription based version. $7 a month? You must be mad.

Good when it works. Works nicely on my old iPad and iPhone but doesn’t work on iPad Pro with latest iOS... Once I sign in, it freezes and doesn’t allow me to do anything.
