I love this game so far!. Hello! Download this app. It’s amazing! Nothing to worry about and no bugs! But why is everything so expensive?? And I love the game “Hot Wheels MindRacers”. But where did that game go? I begged me parents for it and then finally bought it. They said it was very hard to find. And then, when I used the storage for tokens, one token went stuck inside. THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE FLIPPIN APP. So I flippin downloaded the Tangram game and it’s not letting me access the world! I cleared the app I did everything I could but nothing worked! I got my IPad 2 years ago and it works very well but it’ll let me access other worlds! What’s going on with Osmo? Please help me! I’m very mad about this! I enjoy the app tho.I’ll add the last star if y’all fix it my problem is the same as meemslou’s problem

I love the osmo. I love the osmo because it is amazing because it is an interactive way for kids to be on devices without having too much screen time

CHARGED MY CARD for TRIAL!!!!!!. We received a free trial set. My son enjoyed one of the games, but overall he was not impressed. Basically it uses a mirror to see what is on the table. Yes, it had tangible objects to move on the table surface, but overall it’s not that impressive. As an educator, I believe there are many more apps that are education with far less cost. In addition, the iPad can not have any protective cover on it to work with the app...a nerve racking thought for any parent. In order to try the trial you have to give your credit card information. There is NO where to cancel the trial in their app or website. The company is supposed to send an email to cancel prior to charging, they did NOT!!! BEWARE IF YOU DO THE TRIAL, AS I GOT CHARGED!!! You must email customer service to cancel. Who knows how long until I get a refund!!! 😡

Amazing app. The reason I really enjoy this app is because it allows you to play other games and you get these little stickers from the games

Sampler Not user friendly. The level of difficulty required to set up the sampler has rendered this an unusable app. Had my son toss it in the trash because it wasn’t worth the pain getting set up. The directions on the iPad vs on the box or parent app all varied. I don’t trust a tech company that doesn’t understand how to test their products.

Can’t get the game to recognize the camera. I am having the hardest time getting the camera to be recognized by the app, which makes the app impossible to use. How do I force the app to ask to use the camera? I got it set up after a couple of reinstalls the first time we used it and it suddenly stopped working after a week. Very frustrating!

A little anonnying and needs some fixes. Ok first I love dis game!, but whenever I playing a Osmo game those update bubbles pop up and messes meh up oh and there is a big bug that when u at da start screen I go to taragram but it says I don’t have it it says “watch the videos or” install so I go to the AppStore. But it says I have it!!!!!! Plz fix this

I hate this app. Osmo has some great apps, but it also has lots of Disney promo toys that each require 10 bucks to play. My daughter has the little genius kit and enjoys it but inevitably finds herself back in the main osmo app mindlessly looking at the frozen 2 or incredible ADVERTS and just tapping alll the sound effects. Nothing could be further from my goals when we spent money on osmo. The response from the developers is that they find users “like” to see all their games - NO SHEESH SHERLOCK! Please understand that osmo, the app you made, is used for unattended kids play. At least offer an option to hide uninstalled apps or make them only visible in the parents viewer. All in all, it’s an incredibly frustrating capitalist example of how a company can take a great idea and totally mess it up. I can’t let my daughter use osmo now and am going to just ask for a refund.

Awesome and so educational. I love it my kids love it and it has so many fun things coloring, coding so many fun things it is so educational I totally recommend it to everyone who needs a educational app

Osmo World, the game you play if you don’t have Wi-fi!. It’s great for a road trip and when I just don’t have Wi-fi or the Internet! I don’t really use it to launch into apps by Osmo,…right now at least. I use it to play, and I can play with the flower and the arcade block breaker game that MIGHT be a “easter egg”! Disappointed. I bought it and it said it was compatible with iPad but once setting up it then said a new reflector had to be ordered which cost half of the original kit so I’m returning it.

Amazing app! But needs one little thing.... This app is amazing overall. But, I just wish you’d show all of the Osmo apps on the app. I sometimes find it hard to find the apps because there is so many. Maybe you could just put the apps in catigories so it’s easier for us to find the apps. Thanks for he amazing app/apps!

Good app but one frustrating part!. My son loves Osmo! And it is great for him, but he loves stickers and the gift / sticker function of the app is so complicated that he can never get enough stickers or tickets! Then there was one time where I had helped him get the stickers so that he had a bunch, but all of a sudden he doesn’t have them any more! We can’t get them back, no matter what we do! The bubbles don’t work anymore, which used to give him the stickers. It’s always the first thing that he asks about and tries, and we can never get any stickers.

Great but glitchy. My daughter loves the different Osmo games, and we try to play regularly to get her to expand her knowledge. However, I have one major issue about Tangram. It is very glitchy. We always check and double check the design positions of the shapes, and they don’t go through. It is all in color, Meaning that it’s correct but we Can’t move forward. Please fix this, it is very frustrating.

No 9th gen support. We really loved playing this on our old iPad, but still isn’t working on the 9th gen that we bought ~2 months ago. The website says they’re working on it, but I’m starting to lose hope. Wish we didn’t trade in the old iPad and buy this one….would love to buy more OSMO for the holiday for my kids, but can’t buy what doesn’t work on the new model

Doesn’t have the worlds 🌍. The only problem I have with this app is the fact that if you don’t have any app you don’t have the world on this Osmo World. What say you don’t have Coding Jam, well there’s thousands of coding jam characters.(34) But if you don’t have the world which means you don’t have the app, you have Coding Jam characters that don’t belong anywhere. So why even download an app when you can’t use it and you just want the app so your characters belong somewhere. Please fix that. Game development 2020. I bought the genius kit, I think the concept of Osmo is great, but some things we need to be worked on. We need to develop a better in game interaction through characters, we need the kids to be guided throughout each level of the games with the use of more vocal instruction/commands and animations.

Long time user, new issues. Hi Osmo! My son has had an awful lot of fun with this suite. An issue have recently taken place, though. Newton, Masterpiece, Monster, and Pizza Co do not launch correctly from Osmo World, but they used to. Clicking on he greyed out icons sends us to the App store’s page for them to have them installed… which we have. Luckily, they launch from the App Store and from their own app icons, just not from Osmo World. There doesn’t seem to be a way to fix this, it’s just an annoying middle step.

Amazing. Grandma got this for my daughter and I was worried because I’m not tech savvy and I was worried I wouldn’t be able to get it to work. But I just followed the instructions and it was so easy and my daughter loves it!!

Toddler loves it. My 3 year old loves it, but recently it has stopped working. You click on the app and only the name pops up and that’s it. Toddler is now very frustrated as they want to play/learn. Please fix.

iPad Pro 11 inch not supported. My son got this as his big gift for Christmas. When I set it up, I was made aware by the site that the iPad Pro 11 inch is not supported, but the 10.5 inch is. How does this make any sense?? It’s on the same OS, just with a slightly bigger screen, and that ruins the Osmo software’s ability to function? My son is very disappointed, as are we that this is advertised for iPad but doesn’t work with 2 versions, one of which is the one we own.

Won’t fit with the otterbox protective case on iPad. Won’t fit with otterbox case on my child’s iPad. My dad bought this for my son for his birthday, and it’s been months we can’t use it because it takes me 30 minutes to get this OtterBox case off of his iPad so that we can try to set it up. Piece of crap I want to return it I don’t even know what this game does.

I love OSMO!!!. So I have osmo and I just love the fun learning games. I’m just so speechless 😶 I just have really nothing to say about osmo I just love it so much and my favorite osmo game is the pizza game. Ps: I’m a CAT QUEEN 👸🏽 and thank you for reading.

Love this but..... My daughter got this game today from my mom. She LOVES it! My only problem is that in the creative pack app it doesn’t always show the drawings on the page. The monster just seems to be interacting with an imaginary drawing that you can’t see. I made a profile for both of us and it did it on both. It happened when we were trying to create his bedroom.

It’s okay, but could be much better. This umbrella “launcher” app works pretty well for how it was designed, but it has a bug and a fundamental flaw. The bug is that it won’t open the Word Explorers app (the paid app, not the one that came with the Genius Kit). It keeps directing me to buy the Genius Kit, which I already have installed, and my son has played at length. I should mention that the Word Explorers app open correctly from it’s own icon, so the problem is definitely this launcher app. And for what it’s worth, this launcher opens the Numbers Toybox correctly (Osmo’s other paid app). I’ll add a star once this bug has been corrected. The fundamental flaw is that there isn’t a version of this app that is compatible with Guided Access (i.e. a single app that includes all of the Osmo games). While this would have an effect on required iPad resources, it should be fine since this is the only thing these iPads are used for. Guided Access is a big deal to us because we have these iPads set up as dedicated learning stations that are out of our sight. We need to be able to just leave the iPads plugged in on their bases and open for use, and know that they aren’t being used for anything else. I’ll gladly add the other two stars once there’s a solution for those of us that need to use Guided Access.

Great app!. This is an app like an App Store where you can also call it "Osmo Store". Before downloading any other Osmo apps, first download this to see all the apps and what Osmo tiles you need. Its introduction is like in the moon with a rocket.

Good, but something happened. I love Osmo world with the little stickers but then for a while, I stopped playing it and then, when I came back on all my stickers were gone please tell me how to fix this well, it says that I need to download the arcade games to get more tickets but my parents won’t let me please tell me how to get my stickers back

Pretty awesome but could use some work. I just got this all setup for my kids from Christmas and they are LOVING it. That being said, we have had a couple issues. The biggest issue is that when they switch accounts on the main page it doesn’t switch the account in the games. My kids keep accidentally ending up on each other’s accounts which is making them all really frustrated. We also can’t figure out how to change the avatars and nicknames. It said they were temporary when I set it up but we can’t figure out how to edit them. It’s a little thing but my kids wanted to pick out their own.

We love osmo. We’ve been using osmo for more than five years. I recently started homeschooling and my 8 and 10 year old still use it. They have come out with so many super cool games, we have most of them. I hope you come out with some older kids things so we can keep using this as a supplement to the curriculum. I recommend this to everyone.

Great but app issues. First off these are great, we have multiple games for our 3 yr old and she loves them. The trouble is I’m often force closing and re-installing apps bc they get stuck at the different load screens. The iPad is not old and is always current on iOS. This is annoying for an adult but obviously significantly more so for a 3 yr old.

Love Osmo!. We bought Osmo for my son when when was almost 4. He’s loved using it to help learn his letters and numbers. Occasionally there’s a lag, it usually restarting the iPad or the app fixes it. Overall, he’s loved every app he’s played with. He can stay occupied for well over an hour, and I don’t feel guilty letting him use it.

Thank you!. So osmo.... I love this game! Today I am especially considering osmo masterpiece. I got Osmo for Christmas(6 days ago). I love it so much but I do have a few complaints about masterpiece. Number one: For the leaderboard/wall of fame, I think they should do positions. For example, I think you should do first place picture, second place picture, and so on through place ten. Number two: I have think you should switch out the leaderboard every day. Like someone who drew a Pokemon picture cant be on the leader board two days in a row. Bit they can be on it every OTHER day. Number three: I would like it of you could do it transportable. I guess what I mean is I would highly appreciate if you would not have to put your IPad or phone in the base EVERY TIME YOU PLAY. Byju need to fix things. I love the concept of this product but the app has been super buggy since Byju took over Osmo. The app won’t recognize the mirror for our iPad. It actually tells us to remove it and then it begins game play without the mirror and takes random images. So basically it’s useless at this point. And I have the correct mirror for my iPad. Please fix or we will have an Osmo paper weight.

LOVE THE STICKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I got this thinking it was just a hub for the Osmo games. But, then I realized that it was nothing like just the hub for the Osmo games. It was even better! The stickers give you the freedom to make up any story. I am 10 and I am kind of losing interest in the Osmo games, but this is really fun. Osmo, if you just made a game with the stickers, I would get it and play it every day. My one wish, it’s for you to make the locations bigger. Otherwise, this is probably the best Osmo thing I’ve played!

Update is trash! App is now completely unusable!. The recent update has caused all of our stickers to disappear. The app also often crashed or loaded improperly while I was trying to troubleshoot the missing sticker situation. I tried logging out and logging back in, but that did not fix the error. I also deleted the app and reinstalled it, but it is still not working properly.

Useless. I bought this for my child for Christmas and we can even ply it because it says not compatible unless I buy extra attachments which I should not have to do after paying $50 for this. It’s useless . Also I downloaded the apps it said it came with and it stated BUY. I Hope I am not charged extra! Not a good experience, I should be sent the correct piece not have to pay additional

Some games are compatible and some game are not.. Hi! My name is Kalib! My iPad is in a 6th generation and this in not working very good. First of all, the app need a lot of game to set up. Second of all, Two games are compatible but others are not. Osmo is the best thing ever when I first got it in target. Now some are just compatible. I don’t know what’s happening because I’m 6 years old and I still don’t know word that are big. Please help me with the compatible issue. The issue is not good. Please help Bye.

Clunky slow and boring. Most importantly the apps hold my kid’s attention for all of ten seconds. No on-screen interface option with physical medium makes people frustrated when wrestling with the camera frustrum. We got this on sale for almost nothing, and it still was not worth the money. Please add a screen interface or send me a refund. One more thing. NO, I do not want to give you an email or set up an account. Asking 3 times every time I open the app is not fun or educational.

Glitchy app. I understand the strict necessity to use the stand and once we figured out that was more about the height from the table surface for focal distance and less about the exact angle, we were able to put a case back on the iPad to prevent damage ….which literally happened the one time it was put of the case to put on the Osmo dock……ughhh…..sigh! The real problem I’m writing this review for is the app glitches. We are on the latest iOS and have a relatively decent iPad, but internally apps don't work the way they imply they should. The best example of this is the green arrows at the end of “floors” ( levels) in shape builder….. the arrow is never pressable ….it just locks up…..requiring you to push the gear settings button go home and re-enter the game ….whereupon you are taken to the new level….so it’s clearly not a loading issue but happens every time …..it it so consistent that it has to be a bug. It’s not a dead spot in our screen, it’s not due to any other variable in the iPad I can suss out…. But other games have this same level loading freeze-up issue as well. And the remedy is the same…. Back-out and re-enter ……works but tethers me to every activity my daughter does. Hopefully this gets fixed with an update that pushes out then I can rate this higher.

Not supported on Apple anymore. We would like to complain that the kids Osmo software will NOT run on Apple devices anymore, after they HEAVILY marketed this physical/software product to children and adults last Christmas season. They still claim it runs on Apple devices. Says my iPhone is too new, and our iPad is no longer supported. Pure bunk. Positive is my children have learned about not falling for commercials. EXTREMELY Disappointed.

I think I’m just a little bit crazy. Well I think the app is great! But.... one tiny problem. You see, I play Roblox and I personally think roblox is the. BEST APP EVER! The problem with that is I like to sneak on roblox whenever I can but my parents think I’m doing Osmo but I’m not. The reason I told you this is because in osmo you have to turn your iPad portrait and in roblox you have to the iPad landscape and whenever I try to sneak onto roblox when I am supposed to be doing osmo . I get caught. ☹️😤. Thanks to osmo I’m now banned from roblox (by my parents). The problem is, change the settings to having the iPad portrait. That would make me and a whole lot of other people who have roblox a WHOLE lot happier with your app or who ever made the app osmo. Otherwise osmo is a great app and I half recommend it. Not required for detective agency. Osmo website said to download this for detective agency app. Except osmo world doesn’t support detective agency until you have separately installed the detective app. Fix your onboarding flow.

Osmo blocks iPad Pro 12.9inch without warning.. Osmo has suddenly started to block iPad Pro 12.9inch devices from using any Osmo app. By doing this they have now broken my child’s heart. I demand a refund of the hundreds of dollars we have spent on your products for them suddenly be utterly useless. How dare you block previously compatible devices? With NO WARNING and no option to get our money back. I have been using my iPad Pro 12.9inch all year with Osmo products (with a make-shift base) but now the Apps actually block us!? I am furious. This is appalling.

UI. UI was previously to select the games to play. This has changed now to a smaller selection with majority of the screen seems to have other games which I’m not sure provides any educational value. My kid seems to just wander around in these pages instead of playing the numbers, words and all these other games we spent money buying. Terrible design. Might have to scrap Osmo altogether if this UI is kept.

Ok. Look it’s kinda good but super studio won’t load

Pain in the backside. All the different games and apps so confusing. Each with seperate logins and apps. Not intuitive. Finds my kids just going round in circles opening apps we don’t own and complaining that we won’t buy everything. More annoying is the fact I have to constantly re-login into the games and half the time nothing happens when I enter the code I get via email. Just tired of the whole set up. Wish I hadn’t spent money on the letters and numbers and sticks and pizza game. If it wasn’t built and set up so badly It would be ok.

How do I get tickets?. Well the game is good but I don’t no how to get the tickets. Please mind sending a way to get the tickets. Other than that the app is great 😊.

Why so many different apps. So you need to install this app and then to play the games you need to install separate apps for each games? That is about the dumbest thing Ive ever heard of and what a waste of space on my device. Why not just put all the games in one app and kids can choose in there what they want to play. What’s in it to have us install so many apps? Money for our data? I don’t understand. And I paid $120 for this thing. After learning this it’s making me want to return it Edit: and then on top of it all, you have to pay for some of the game apps after paying over $100 for the kit. What a rip off. Returning the kit cause it’s way better to save your money on this whole scam. Thank you helping me realize this all.

Only support old iPads. I was going to buy couple more osmos game for my kid but learn that after purchasing a game, this app doesn’t even support my 2018 iPad Pro. What a shame. Deserve zero star.

Setup is brutal. Will give the in app experience a chance. But the setup process is truly terrible. Not at all obvious what games you get as part of the bundle you purchased for a premium price. You are met with tons of “buy” prompts. It’s all incredibly frustrating and disappointing. You download this app as a way station to download six other apps as part of the Genius Starter Kit. And the company website has no obvious way to share feedback. Hope they take this review to heart and try and address this subpar user experience.

What happened to my progress?. It was amazing but out of nowhere my progress went poof! Idk what went wrong maybe i havent played it in a while or maybe its device based idk what happened

Do not get. I got this game and had it for a long time, I had a lot of characters. But when it ne. an update I updated it then I went in to it but it didn’t save my characters. Then I waited for a couple of days then I went into it again and bought new characters with the tickets I still have, then I waited for a couple of hours and then I went back to it and it didn’t save! So I deleted it.

Great but the new iPad…. So I have the adjustable mirror cause I have apple iPad 10th gen but with master piece it’s sideways, and it’s supposed to be straight, please update for iPad 10th gen!

Waste of Time. Heads up, this product doesn’t support the latest tech; if you have a decent iPad, the app may not work for you. There’s no plans from the company to fix this issue, so likely not the best investment you can make in a tool for your child. Don’t waste an hour of your day downloading the 10 extra apps or build the anticipation of using this with your child. Make sure it’s all working first because you can’t trust it works how you’d expect. I even asked the company when the release would happen and they just gave me excuses. Buyer beware!

Fun for kids on iPad. Incredible hard to sign in and it does not even send the six digit code yes I might be a kid but it should send the code to my Guardian at least and then I can’t try again for 30 minutes I used To play in every day stoped playing it for like a year maybe two and it was so fun recommend it just sign in is so stressful

Too expensive for the app to not load. None of the OSMO apps are working. Yes I have the base, yes I bought all the needed accessories... it was EXPENSIVE, way too expensive for the app to decide it doesn’t want to load!

Waste osmo creative. What is the point in spending so much money to have to download every individual game and still have to buy the pieces that go with games??? This cost enough that it should ALL be included.

Launches once and never again. I’ve installed this app twice on an iPad mini. It launches once after it’s installed. After that just a white screen.

It used to be better. Before, you could play all the mini game things, but now you have to install the mini games to play with them!

Permanently crashed. This worked for a while and my child really liked it. But, it recently crashed and is showing as a dimmed icon, refusing to open. I can't even delete it and will not let me reopen from the App Store neither.

Coding Awbie problem. The osmo app keeps shutting down unexpectedly. Let me know how can I fix it.

Does not work on iPhone.. According to App Store the iPhone is supported. Launch app and no longer supported.

How do you get tickets. How do you get tickets for the stickers. I am just wondering.

Not enough space. I like this game but about a year later I saw Minecraft. I needed to delete almost all my Osmo games to download Minecraft. This game included.

Horrible!. I just bought Osmo for my iPad. I’m very mad it doesn’t work because I have a iPad 12 pro. Please come up with a new version so it can be used, or else I just waisted a lot of money!

Keeps loading. Has anyone else had this problem? I downloaded this app on my iPhone and it stays on the loading screen. What am I doing wrong?

Why iPad Pro 12.9 or 11 still don’t have access. Sadly my daughter was gifted this Christmas with the Osmo kit and it appears that iPad Pro 11 & 12.9. When are you planing to update your app to accommodate?

Good but. The stand doesn’t work with The newest iPad model

Not Compatible With New IPads. Be careful if you got this as a gift it doesn’t work with new iPads. Ironic that a program to teach programming isn’t compatible with new software. Good lesson for the kids though. What you can see is in horrible resolution on new iPads anyway.

NOT SUPPORTED. I just downloaded the app from my iPhone App Store and when I went to launch it says “No longer supported by iPhone”. How am I supposed to use???

Osmo. Osmo is the best because me and my friend agreed on it.

Junk. Don’t waste your money. Not supported on all iPads. It’s just another junk software company.

Buggy App. My son plays the coding game and the app continues to crash after just a few minutes. Needs fixing.

DON’T BUY. Although Osmo says in his webpage that Osmo is no compatible with iPad Pro 11 inch, the information is not in the box and no reason for this is not given. It doesn’t seem like they can build it for this hardware. What kind of serious software company can’t build app that support several (and newer) versions of a hardware.
