Good Game for practicing. I love this game!! It’s not the fastest table, and you aren’t shooting against anyone else but yourself, but it its a good visual game for practicing your shots. I love the different shaped tables. You really have to watch your speed and angles. I also love the trick shots they put in there. What I love most is you are able to keep going back to play each table to improve your score and receive ‘crowns’. My goal is to have crowns though the whole city. This is THE BEST game for practicing shooting pool! ❤️❤️❤️

Scale. Nice game, however it’s out of scale. Corner pockets are slightly larger than the object ball. Corner pocket holes should be the size of 2 balls plus. There should be 11 balls from end rail to head spot or foot spot. Side pockets cuts are very wide. Combination shots don’t allow balls to be thrown. Because scale is not correct, it doesn’t allow natural combinations to happen. English doesn’t work as it should. Nice draw and follow however. Fun to play but a bit frustrating at times. Get rid of the hand that appears and then takes your ball away. It would be nice if you could actually play a game such as straight pool, etc. In real life I have many times ran 100 plus balls (racked) shooting straight pool. I’m lucky to run 50 balls (open rack) in this game . It’s still pretty close to real life and I do enjoy it.

Never Gets Boring!. I know that this game isn't a blast of epic racing, fighting or serious strategy but, that's the beauty of this game.. no frills, just the table, a little goofy table shapes, plenty of difficult shots to make with really tight pockets for a challenge!! I find that most games I play on several different devices or consoles takes me from my own thinking and "easy mode" of comfortable thought and base enjoyment zone?!! Sometimes, more than not and def much more sought after are the times you just want to pull away from the world and play a little pool!!! Would like to hit a Rack-A-Balls e'ry now & again but I don't miss it that much?! Great game y'all, keep the same simplicity but invent more to keep me coming back even more!

Realistic. From the English responses to the visual experience, you can actually sense the weight of the cue balls and the density of the table. Pretty amazing. The only issue I had in the beginning was trying to aim the cue stick when shooting from the left end of the table where the trigger sits. If you're not careful you activate the trigger without realizing it and then it cues when you take your finger off the screen. I've since learned to just spin the cue from the center of the table. Same thing happens on the right end... your finger activates the fine adjustment aiming slider while trying to manually aim the cue. I don't understand the progression requirements for each set... I would think you need to pocket each cue numerically, but it seems to reward you for pocketing randomly. I don't know. Wish these things came with instructions. If they are available I don't see them. That's why I only gave 4 stars. People who write these things always leave it up to the user to figure out how to actually utilize their apps. EVERY piece of software should have complete instructions. My first rule in life: If at first you don't succeed... read the instructions!

Great way to practice pool shots. It’s seems like every billiard app out there only lets you play against another person or the computer. However, there are many times when I would just like to practice my shots and not compete against someone. I love this app because it lets me practice my games WITHOUT a competitor. Even thought I really enjoy this app and the fact that it’s FREE would usually make it 5 stars in my book, there are a couple reasons it didn’t get 5 stars from me. 1. I hate having to wait for the ads in between each game. Way too many ads and no way to get rid of them. I would be willing to pay $2.99 to get rid of them. 2. This would be a perfect app if I could actually play a game of 8-ball or 9-ball by MYSELF. This way I could truly practice my game. I would be willing to pay a one time charge of $4.99 if I could play either 8-ball and 9-ball by MYSELF. I would like to play against myself. I can play against someone else on any other app. If you made these changes I would tell all of my pool friends about it and would gladly to give you 5-Stars. Thanks!😁👍

Freezes....Major Bug That Needs To Be Fixed. I have been playing this game for about 3-4 months now. I love it and it is as realistic as it gets. The reason why I am giving it two stars is because the game continuously freezes once I have gotten to the upper levels. It is very frustrating to have to turn off my phone and try to start the game again. When this fails, and it does often, I eventually have to delete the entire app and reinstall it. The is cause me to lose my status and I have to start from the bottom again. Once this is fixed, I will give this game a 5 star rating.

Ads kind of have ruined the game. This was a really good game and a nice distraction when you’re just sitting around and waiting. But the ads have made it more frustrating than fun. Now after every round, an ad pops up and some of them won’t allow you to exit the ad. So you end up having to reset the app, and you lose whatever you shot in the last round. I get that ads are necessary when you’re offering a free game, but you don’t even want to play it for free when the ads are way too excessive. At one time, you didn’t even see ads unless you ran out of shots and wanted to add a couple more shots to complete the round. In that case, at least you made the choice to watch the ad instead of having them forced down your throat.

Best Pool Game Ever 🎱. I love this Pool Game, I am already addicted and I just downloaded it, I think the only negative thing about this game is that there are advertisements (ads) almost every 3 games you play. But other then that, this game is awesome! One note to the developer(/s); you should add an option to verse AI (bot/s) and in the future, Facebook Friends. But yeah, definitely recommend to all Pool Players or Beginners! 👍🏽 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My addiction. Totally addicted to this game but it’s been frozen on the opening screen for the past two weeks. I’ve reset my phone more times than I can count thinking it’ll fix the problem but.... nothing.🤔 5 stars for the game itself because it’s addicting... for me. 2 stars because I’m now not able to play because of this glitch. Sad to say but my days are incomplete without it.

Great Game But Needs Variety. I love this game, been playing it for over a year. I've gotten a bunch of my friends hooked on it as well. The only thing I would say is that when you get to the higher levels (100s and on), the tables don't vary. The only change between levels is the color of the balls, no more interesting shaped tables which I thought were challenging and fun at the beginning. I still like to play as a way to pass the time, I love pool and don't always have the chance to play on a table in real life. Just would be fun if the higher levels incorporated some sort of variety in table shape/things to switch it up and add more of a challenge.

New Levels!. I really really love this game! A fun way to unwind, have some fun, & challenge myself! But... I need more levels!! I already went to the end but I decided to start over & get crowns for each game! Not as easy! I really enjoy the tables that aren’t the standard rectangle! Z shaped tables are fun! I have tried those “other” pool games. I don’t like any of them. Plus, the graphics are fun to look at- the streets, hospitals, police cars- all with lights on & traffic lights , too! Thank you for such an awesome game! Please make more levels!

Fantastic. 2956 games all crowns to date. I particularly enjoy games one can play offline - since internet connection isn’t always available when off grid camping. Didn’t much care for the different shaped pool tables in the first 900 or so games - I really don’t remember how far back the odd shapes stopped….. The geometry playing this game is transferable to our standard pool table. You can actually see multiple shots you didn’t think you could make before playing this game. As far as the ads - think outside the box.

Good Game to Learn On. I like the game because it wiles away some otherwise monotonous time and because it gives a player, whether they have actually played pool or not, a chance to see the configuration from overhead which greatly assists in understanding the angles involved in making a clean shot of a single ball or a combination of balls. I have actually learned some of the wrong things I used to do when I played pool with my buddies in college. Since that was fifty-five years ago, I doubt I could get a re-match.

Excellent. This app has so many ads, but it’s worth every single one of them. I’ve always loved playing pool and going through the different tables, being able to apply English and being challenged to do it all without scratching, is pretty cool! One thing I’d like to see is a guide or map so I could go back to the tables I liked, the crazy ones, and play those again

I like the game. The only drawback is.... There are only a few drawbacks of the game. The first is that sometimes, when you’ve already taken careful aim, the queue moves sideways when it’s only supposed to shoot, throwing off your aim completely. You just have to be on your toes when it happens. The second sickening flaw is that occasionally there are simultaneous ads going on at the bottom of the screen while you’re playing the game. That wouldn’t be so bad except that, in the Fishdom ad there is a bubbling sound like a toilet. It won’t stop, even between games. It makes me want to stop playing.

One of the best. Yes.. this is a five star review. I have played it for months. But here is the challenge. If you are perfect, not missing a shot, every stroke you get either 1 or more balls in a pocket, you get the crown. Once I discovered this, that is all that I look for. Miss a shot, you have to start over. I play the same board sometime 20 times. But making the last shot..and it puts the ball in the pocket. That’s a good feeling. I love the special notice when it appears that marks the pocket and if you get the ball in the game removes another ball. Quite helpful if your playing for the crown. I know there are folks that are playing the game have never seen a crown. It came as surprise the first time for me as well. Anyway .. great game!

Simple & Smart. I gave this game a 5 star rating due to the objective of the game. The objective is simple get the most balls in before you use up all your shots. The more balls you hit in the pocket in one hit saves your lives. It kind of makes you grind your gears a little more in your head. Yet a few errors along the way such as loading up the cue to hit the ball. If you don’t drag the cue right it seems to mess up your setup shot which is a drag.

Truly excellent, but…. Okay, I downloaded this two days ago and I’m already addicted on both phone and tablet. I’m sorry there’s no way to put spin on the cue ball, because the touch is very realistic and you wish you could control your leave better. Some of layouts and table shapes are weird, but what the heck. I’m not sure what the hearts give you (apart from the “gimme” glove for a free ball) but they’re fun. And the ergonomics of the controls make you shoot accidentally unless you’re always careful. But what the heck — I’m having lots of fun.

Great user interface, just one thing... This pool game is far more updated than 8 Ball Pool, the most popular pool game. PooKing is very modern and the ball movement is smooth, yet sometimes the balls can slow down very quickly for no apparent reason. I wish you could play online against other players, and the ads get quite annoying sometimes.. Other than that, this game is by far my favorite on the store.

About how great the game is. It kind of teaches you haow to play in real life and who ever made it is really creative I know there are other games like this but this one really brings the joy into me and I think it can bring the joy into you to have a nice time playing the game and keep up the good work and that I do not like that they have the bad luck sticks I really don’t I was really mad that they put the bad luck sticks in there I was really mad but whatever it’s still fun

Great Game. A great game. The levels get harder as you progress. It is a single player game which I like. I don’t like being forced to play other people if I don’t want to. Overall it seems to be pretty realistic. This has given me hours of entertainment. The worst part was when the game was freezing between levels. But that seems to be worked out. I think it had something to do with the ads. Speaking of ads. They are not too long and I are not that annoying. Yes the pop up between each level. But they are usually short and, as of yet, do not bother me.

Hooked. I have completed this game THREE TIMES. I just finished my third time, but I do have a few issues. 1. I’ve played pool a great many times in my 67 years and having my own table I’ve learned many techniques on how to control my balls, like setting up my next shots, having the ball to follow, or to back up etc. and this game does not follow the rule of thumb. Now with that being said, I still like this game and will continue to play it. But again there’s could still be some improvements, like curving around another ball, or jumping a ball. There are tricks shots that could be implemented. Still, I compliment you and thank you for good game.

Pookball. Enjoyed this a lot. Suggest taking stick angle away from the whole damned screen as it can often change your angle while shooting. There are enough options elsewhere. Also...your english is backwards. Left english moves the cueball left after the strike, right english moves the cueball right after the strike. And the cueball does not transfer english to the table balls. Certainly the table balls do not transfer english back to the cueball, yet I’ve observed some really weird curves on a cueball third hand that are impossible irl. Just watched the cue ball with no english on it run a ball into the pocket on the short rail, hit that rail, run the length of the table, bounce off the opposite rail, come out what would have been about 8 inches irl and do a 90 degree turn to the left...lol. It did its own masse! Wow. Pool is a game of vectors. The only reason you can put english on the cue ball is because your stick tip is relatively soft and “grabby”, if you will. But hey...it’s a virtual game. Still enjoy it. Definitely need a way to shut off the hand. PITA The crazy, backwards, and unpredictable gamed english is annoying. Clearly the creator of this game never shot a game of pool in his or her life.

Great game. This is a very realistic pool game. The balls move using real tools of physics. There are different shaped pool tables on which to play. You can repeat a level over again if you don’t do as well as you think you can (get a crown). It shows you how the ball is lined up with the pocket allowing you to aim better. There is a definite learning curve because I kept hitting the power selector when attempt to move my cue but it’s happening less often now. I highly recommend this game.

This game change my life you should play this. I like a lot this game because is has diferent levels. Each level that you succeed more harder it can get. It’s about to be patient and relax. Don’t worry that you don’t have good aim. keep playing that game because it makes your brain get developed. Compered to myself I was on a basketball team and I was so clumsy for shoot the ball in the basket and now I’m not so clumsy anymore. This game has change my life now I can throw the ball perfectly in the basket. Thanks for creating this game.

Solid game. I like a realistic looking game for pool where you have control over your cue. This game delivers on all fronts while being aesthetically appealing. I like the uneven-edged tables; makes for some creative bouncing off walls which adds to the game play. The best part is that while the game is challenging enough to keep me playing, it's not so hard (like so many bot games in general-we get it, AI you win- which just demoralize you ie reversi!) that I give up. Or to get a cue that works or balls that aren't suspiciously weighted (like golf games) I have to spend 99 cents. Nope. This is pool. The developer deserves your kudos for not interrupting the flow of pool (not like bowling which is basically crack) with invasive ads or gimmicks to get my coins to just play! Thank you very much for putting effort into the design I love the table and am used to the cue sensitivity. If I made any suggestions it might be for some sort of analysis of your best shots and perhaps some diagrams of signature moves would be cool and worth a few breadcrumbsz! There is a dart game that keeps track of patterns and it's always the player playing against him-her-she-it月光

Why NOT 5-star?. Well-designed, realistic and enjoyable. I would give it 5-star if it wasn’t for an annoying issue. To start or to get back to a particular game you have to go through swiping left or right for an eternity before you land on a game you want. For example: when you open the app, you get to play the next highest numbered game you have already played. If that was #1027 you get to play #1028 or #1026 or all the games that show on that particular page. But if you want to play game #304, you have to swipe right on your screen so many times that either the next sunrise peeks through the window or your finger starts bleeding, whichever comes first. At any point, there must be a placeholder for typing a game # which would take you directly to that particular game.

Pooking. Honestly would rated like a 3.6, because it can get boring after a while. I really enjoy this game, and honestly it should be left as a offline game forever. For all those people complaining about “OMG! To much ads” literally turn off your cellular data for the game in settings or just when you want to play the game just turn off the wifi for sometime and turn it on later, at least for me. About the boring part, Pooking should make it where you can at least play against other bots with different modes from easy to hard, extreme, intense, etc. Also the developer of Pooking should allow 2 players to play to make it more fun and interesting during each level or maybe something separate besides the levels, but other than that its a good game.

Pooking. I truly enjoy playing this game and find that hours can pass while I try to get a crown. I've been playing for quite a while, and for the longest time I was trying to understand what the hearts and gloves were all about, as well as what causes things to happen, like the table going dark. I'm still not certain. The challenge of learning how hard to hit a ball; knowing angles that work better than others; and learning that if you sink a ball in a hole not marked with a red heart, it seems to count anyway for something; all this is very intriguing. The game seems geometry-based which I really enjoy. It would make the game even more interesting if I understood how scoring is tracked, if there even is scoring.

A very good game ruined by non-stop ads. In spite of the game itself being quite excellent and realistic, I found no joy in playing it due to an unrelenting pounding by ads. There are many ads with some persistent full-page varieties which required me to exit and restart game to clear them. Others are timed full-page which last between 10 and 40 seconds. And there were others which can immediately be cleared. The point is that there are too many of them, up to 4 per level not counting the constant scrolling ad box at the bottom of the screen. I found no option within the game to remove the ads by opting for a paid version, nor any such version in the App Store.

Ok game....but. Not bad, but...now follow here...if you win the numbered session, your reward is move the the next numbered level ONLY after viewing an ad....and if you lose the session, your penance is...view an ad....and if you need to redo the session, you need to view an ad. See a pattern here? NO real reward for winning as an annoying ad is ALWAYS in your future. Same problem as many other games. Developers, maybe try taking “the high road”for once. Make the penance for losing be viewing an ad, but easily move to the next level without the ads? Leads to game enjoyment and less frustration may lead to more game trials, and sales and purchases?

Brings back a lot of memories.. Before I became disabled I used to play pool about 30 hours per week. Even though I can’t stand at a table any longer, with this handy game I can play as much pool as I want, whenever I want again. It took me several hours of playtime before I realized I could click on the cue ball above the micro adjustment wheel and use it to put some English on the ball. Now everything is right in my world. This is an awesome game. I gave it 5 stars for a reason.

PooKing - Billiards City. I just found this game. I haven’t played pool in a pool hall since I was 60 - I am now 77 so I am happy to play again. I love the physics and how it makes you take your time before pulling the cue back to shoot. I like the graphics and sounds and the hearts that probably add to your score and especially being rewarded with the gold crown because you did a perfect game. I am so glad I found this game. Perfect for anyone and you don’t feel rushed - it’s like having your own pool table at home. Kudos to the developer’s.

Glad I found it. I really enjoy the game and it's well designed. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the number of ads you have to deal with. After each game, which takes about 3 minutes average, you have to watch an ad. I could deal with an ad after every two or three games but after every game is getting a little out of hand. Other than that....it's one the better games I've found in a while. Kudos.

Enjoyable Game. I’ve been playing this game for a couple of years now, and it is a great way to spend some spare time. I like the weird tables they added to give the game some new challenges. What I don’t like is that they removed the option to restart a game. I play each game until I play it perfectly with no misses. If I miss a shot, I now have to completely close the app and reload it. It was so much simpler when you could restart a game anytime from within the game. I really miss that feature.

Shoot better pool here. 28 Jan 2021 Congratulations, dear Player! Yes, three cheers and huzzah for reaching level 1020! I say this because the game won't. It just ends abruptly at table 1020. What other reviewers say is true: ball physics are pretty realistic. It's easy to line up your shot and control the force used (Luke). Pooking builds your confidence. You will pocket more balls here than you would on a real table. Tip: try playing in Airplane Mode! Suggestions for the devs: -Please get rid of the oddball tables! They are aggravating and don't belong in the game. -Please provide an option to disable the hand. -Instead of designing 1000 different starting positions, why not simply rack the balls? Let the player choose between 8-ball, 9-ball, and 14.1 racks. -Let the player set up practice shots. -Let the player replay the last position. -And thanks for making a game that gave me many hours of enjoyment! Update 24 July 2023 Table 2222 and still going! The game runs fine and I never see ads. I play on iPad Pro with Wi-Fi turned off. The 'reward' cues don't play any better than the basic one -- they are just distracting. I use the very first cue. My biggest gripe is 'the hand'. It's an UNWELCOME nuisance. How about making a Hardcore Mode option with NO HAND??

I completed every single level. Hello I am a very happy consumer who have been playing your app for years. I completed every level after the first few weeks of downloading,but after that I developed a very strange addiction to getting crowned on every single level. And after years of hard dedication I finally finished it.🔥do I get a prize or something...? Cus that game play wasn’t easy,in fact some very frustrating. But I did it. 😁

Amazing one suggestion though. This game is amazing all the way through just one problem. all the adds It starts off good then it gets to the point of every game I am having an add not that it make this a bad game of course it is amazing just if you can make the adds go down all little that would be great. also can you add like the start of pool when it is in the triangle and also make it so that you have to pick between solid and stripes and make an 8 ball. That would make it more realistic if you can’t that is fine but if you can please do. For everyone reading this, this game is amazing and definitely down load it if you want a lot of fun and joy but must warn you about the adds one more time. Thank you.

Good game but wish it was only reg pool table. The game is nice. Theres not enything wrong with it. No bugs, No issues but there is some problems that may not be that important to you because it’s my personal opinion. I don’t like how once your past level 10 they make you play on a weird table that’s shaped like Tennessee lol. I mean the table is really weird because the shape of it makes it look rediculas and then they expect you to do crazy corner shots that are impossible because the tables weirdly shaped. But on the regular shaped table that REGULATES REAL POOL is nice. All I have to say is if you want a good realistic gaming experience that’s about pool mabey consider another game. Very challenging game though. If you want a good quality semi realistic game that’s challenging you got your main game. The reason I think it’s a 5 star game is because of the graphics. At first I donlaoded the game to see if this game was a joke or not but holy crap was I wrong. This game might have the best graphics on mobile I’ve seen in a while. Plz install the game. I like the odd pocketed tables that come every so often. Was a nice surprise when tables with oddly placed pockets appeared. I also like how they set up trick/combo shots. Makes me feel like pro when I sink them hahaha. Yes, I agree you should tone down the ads, but I also understand developers of Free games generate their $$$ from these 5 second ads. Still... if I want to redo the table? I get an ad. If I miss a shot and tap Pause then Redo? Ad. Next table? Ad. Dude!! It’s excessive for sure. Hopefully, the spread between ads lessens at higher levels, but just being at Lvl 23 I doubt the frequency will decrease any time soon. I’ll play to level 51 (see if it lessens after level 50). If it still produces ads at every new table and replay? Delete.

Realistic Game. I like this game because the player is competing against himself by choosing any of the balls to pocket in any order. Hit the cue ball too hard or soft and the result is the same as virtually playing. I think the progression of the number of balls available to pocket causes the shooter to be more aware of how he leaves himself for the next shot although English on the cue isn’t used. I especially like the control that positions the stick. I didn’t notice it at first but once I found it, it really lets the shooter be more precise. The control for how hard you hit the cue ball is nice too...it really lets you shoot soft or softer. The heart that randomly appears in different pockets is asking you to pocket a ball there...any ball. I see it added in scoring but don’t get its purpose...nor do I get how the game is scored. Can’t say I honestly care since there’s only one player. LOL I used to shoot straight 8 ball, calling pockets, rails and kisses...played around 20-30 hours a week. Have not played for a very long time. This game has been bringing me a lot of fun memories. I may just have to find a place to have a cold beer and drag my husband out to play a few games!

Great few issues. I love the game and different pool tables and challenges but I don’t like the fact when you run out of lives and you hit the play video for three more it sometimes work and it sometimes doesn’t. And I don’t like the fact that when you make a shot into a pocket that has and extra life and the cue rolls into the pocket it takes away two lives instead of one, that isn’t fair I can understand you taking away the one that was given but not the one I already had please fix this thank you.

Really good start. The physics engine works great, it’s very easy to get In and start playing, and it looks very nice. A more extended tutorial to go over the finer points of ball English would be nice for those who have never played a video pool game before but with a bit of playing around it can be figured out. One major issue I have with the game is the placement of ads over the Rube Goldberg-esque animations after each round. I’m sure someone on your team put a lot of thought into those, and we the players can’t see what is happening because as soon as we complete the level, bam, an ad starts, covering your slick little animations. Fix that, and maybe an eventual multiplayer and even a way to purchase to go ad free would be great.

It’s awesome. I really enjoy playing this pool game but right now it’s at 1020 and won’t let me move on then I thought maybe that’s as far as it goes Iv got another pool game I can stay playing it but I would rather keep playing this one then I went back and done some that I didn’t do so good on and thought may that would let me go further but hasn’t helped yet but I just be as far as I can go on this one it’s a awesome game I really enjoyed playing it thank you

Ads are annoying. I love this game. It’s very addicting. I’d like to give it 5 stars, but virtually every time you change the screen for any reason such as replaying the round you have to watch a commercial. Most are brief others not so much. When it gives you the option to skip an ad after 5 seconds, tapping skip doesn’t work. Your stuck for at least a minute or more. However I like the game enough to keep playing. It’s just so fun the ads haven’t driven me away.

Not accurate physics at all. First of all, my game has locked up. I have contacted them twice with no response. On top of that, the physics are not accurate at all. Angles of bounce are skewed so that the game will win. Attempting to aim is frustrating because the direction you swipe to change your angle changes constantly, sometimes in the same shot and trying to “fine tune” an aim is next to impossible because they have designed it so that minute changes are next to impossible, your direction will jump all over the place. I wish there were options to play legitimate 1 and/or 2 person actual games, like 9 ball, 8 ball, etc., instead of only one person being allowed to play a bunch of balls, not racked, but pre-arranged on the table.

Not to Scale. Maybe this goes without saying, but the game is not to scale. It requires great precision to sink balls in the corner pockets since they are about 3x the size of a regular billiard ball in relation to the pocket width. This puts a bias on the side pockets, so you find yourself leaving the cue with side pocket shots in mind, which takes you further away from a real pool experience. Also, on a real pool table you can usually touch five (sometimes six) rails with a full stroke... the rails in this game are not as lively. But, the game is enjoyable nonetheless. I just wish the balls weren’t the size of croquet balls and the rubber was bouncier.

Fun Game. II am not a serious pool player, so this game is just the right intensity for me. The different table configurations are fun and frustrating. I often get stuck on one of those. You can go back and replay games. I was going back and try getting crowns for each level (no mistakes!), but I gave that up. *suggestion - give the number of misses on the header of the game. The games tend to run together and I can’t remember if I’ve lost the crown. It changes how you think about things. In the videos/screen shots, it looks like there could be suggestions or hints. That would be nice especially for the bank shot I’m supposed to be working on.

Excellent on the verge of epic. As it is, this game is as challenging as it is peaceful as it is addictive. I don’t know how many levels there are, but I hope there are at least 1000. I’m on 229 If these guys would do a couple things, this game would be legendary: 1. When you miss a shot, you can’t come back from that and get the “crown” for that level. One should be able to make up for it by doing difficult shots like banks and combos and so forth. 2. This game needs instructions. It’s not that it is a difficult game to understand and play, but, for instance, what are the properties of the various sticks that you get as you go along? What do those letters at the top mean? Things like that. 3. One should get extra points for banked shots. 4. When you put a ball in a pocket that has the hand that removes a ball, you should be able to choose which ball is removed 5. After a scratch it’s hard to place the cue ball. Your finger covers it and you can’t see where exactly it’s going to be placed. 6. You should be able to call the pocket and get extra points for making a called shot pocket. 7. Make a level where you have to sink the balls in order (nine ball) 8. Have an “undo” function that costs you a heart or something.

Fun game for pool sharks.. This is a fun little game. Anyone who likes pool will certainly like this game. It has a few to many ads, but hey it's a free game so they have to make their money some how! All in all a fun little challenging game. Enjoy.

Actual Pool. I downloaded this app expecting to play the actual game of pool. Not that I’m complaining, I’m pretty hooked on it as it is at the moment. Pool. Although some levels are so hard it’s fun to play and also learn for when your going to play pool in reality. It gives you that sense of direction, mobility and patience needed when playing pool against your friends. It awesome I really recommend anyone and anybody to play this game.

Add heavy and not interactive. Very add heavy and no second player interaction let’s this game down. Should be themed as a trick shot game. Clear simplistic graphics and very easy gameplay helps the younger target audience but will leave advanced players scratching heads at the actual purpose of playing this game. Great Game. I've reached the end I think -1020 games - which is a shame because I have found the game very enjoyable and relaxing. I've now gone back to the beginning to gain crowns for each level. Update: gotten all the crowns so deleted the game and re-installed it to start again. A lot easier now 😂😂

Doesn’t get harder. I have reached level 200, but it has remained the same level of difficulty for some time now, only different starting formations. At one point in the game there were x’d out pockets that stole a life of you got a ball in there, but now they’ve stopped appearing and it’s easier again haha. The city scape that you progress through recycles to show the same stuff too. helicopter, sports field, beer club. Might be nice to see some different worlds to explore, harder levels, variety in power-ups, less ads. Overall a pretty cool game, just disappointed about the above.

Good but room to improve. I am on level 47 at the moment. I feel that positives are that it is relaxed playing single player, looks good, and some of the tables are creative. Areas to improve could be to add timers, rewards for combos, achievements, and even an online version.

Irritating. Good relaxing game over all. Nice challenge trying to earn crowns for the games (not missing a shot). However irritating and disappointing when you get to a certain level and the game freezes when trying to log back in. This results in have to delete game and reinstall. Once done you are starting at level 1 again. Shame such an irritating occurrence spoils an overall good game.

Great Game. This is one of the better pool games out there. I quite enjoy the challenges they put in front of me. My one negative observation would be that they’re sloppy about installing ads. Too many times, with too many different ads, I have been unable to exit back to the game…..after having let the ad run it’s full cycle. I have nothing against ads; they pay for the game. But I get REALLY annoyed when I can’t get back to the game when the ad is over.

Great game but…. The game is really well made with some good mechanics but there is little to no content in the gameplay. There is no online mode or any real pool in the game. The game is also incredibly easy and I beat it within a few hours of playing.

Play while seated upon the throne.. Play like a real poo shark. The smell can be a bit much at times, depending on what your opponent ate.

J'aime ce jeu, car il est relativement facile mais permet surtout de pratiquer la précision des coups en combinaisons sur petite table avec diverses dispositions des boules. C'est un jeu de débutant, ça ne le rend cependant pas moins agréable à jouer, malgré qu'une vraie partie sur grande table soit un objectif à atteindre. Cependant, j'aimerais beaucoup que les points soient affichés au fur et à mesure des frappes. Le système actuel est mal expliqué et il est difficile de comprendre comment il fonctionne. Used to be great... I love this game. Always have. But the overwhelming amount of ads between rounds is awful. They put in this cool new “mousetrap” feature that lets you “build” a better mousetrap sort of contraption. I’m really only assuming it’s cool because the ads that come up immediately after completing a round completely obscure the building process and the roll of the ball. Too bad really. The amount of ads that we are inundated with in this app, as well as most other apps, is nauseating and exhausting. (That may be overly dramatic, but c’mon!)

Fun to play.. Have gone through 100+ levels & it’s a great tool for working on shot development. Ads are annoying & present at the conclusion of each level & have various lengths & formats. About what you expect from a “free” app. The shooting & shot development is very nice. Very easy to work & has some finesse with the cue & you can put English on the cue ball. No jump ball that I’ve found or masse options, but still nice to have some control over the cue! Fun game, I’ve enjoyed it!

Cool Practice App. I like this app because it’s just me against me. It’s simple, it sets up different kinds of shots to make, I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t simple because it really is, but it’s fun for passing the time. Relaxing at its best !!. Before I started playing this game I had dwnld'd a game called 'fuze ball' which there was no way to possibly win. I love this game bc if you don't win they give you the chance to replay & get a perfect score (which is GREAT for me bc I'm so competitive😄).The good thing about this game is the ads aren't intrusive as in other games and you don't have to wait until your lives replenish. Accuracy off but fun. The game is a lot of fun. It has a maddening side. Line up the cue ball with the shot ball, coming out the other side is a sort of hue to tell the direction it will go. It’s not accurate. You can have it perfectly lined up with a pocket and it will bounce off the sides of the pocket. To prove our assumption we used to micro lasers to prove it’s not accurate. Several occasions had it perfectly lined up to go in and it catches the edge of the bumper and bounces. This was no quick test. We had the phone in a jig recalibrated the lasers and had it precise! Yes a lot of wasted time!!

I love pool. This game assists you with your aim which helps a lot, but don’t be fooled, pool is a strategic game of angles and placement, and aim is just a part of being successful. I’m glad it doesn’t play the game for you and needs more skill that it would seem. Realistic and fun if you like your own skill to be important. I play often but I’m retired and have the time to hone my skills.

Very relaxing. The controls are simple and the algorithm for determining angles and ricochet feels true to life. You can mess around or play with goals in mind, but overall it feels very much like being able to hangout and shoot some pool. Other games are too competition oriented or goals/achievement based for me, this one is perfect for filling time on the bus or waiting in line.

Is very addicted on the left side of the table in between the middle pocket and the corner pocket when u go to hit down the baseline the ball disappear and when u at your last ball and you know how the bells ring when u finish it don’t because that ball went underneath the railing so they need to fix that also the ball be moving behind the table wow that’s another way to play pool

Ads get very annoying!. This game would be better if you didn’t have to fight with the ads. Many times I would go back and forth simply trying to close the ads. Now the game itself has frozen multiple times and could not even break to start a game. If you ever get ready to start a game wher the cue ball is surrounded tightly by object balls forming a square. Hang it up and delete the game because you won’t get any further…..

Not too much to say. The gameplay is flawless. The balls roll beautiful. The strength of your shot is a little touchy, and doesn’t seem to conform to what you actually want it to do, and I really enjoy this game, but why would you make the most flawless pool experience I’ve ever played in a game, only for it to be just shooting some balls in a predetermined setting? It would be amazing to actually be able to play pool with your engine. These aren’t really complaints though. Game is amazing

Keeps freezing. I actually never write reviews but really enjoy this game. But this is the second time I’ve had to delete the app, and re-download because it freezes up no matter if I start the app over, restart the phone. I am going to try to download one more time, but sadly if it does it again I’m not wasting my time to re-download because all my progress is deleted EACH TIME. So 170+ levels gone.

Where's the rack?. There isn't one, and that's one of the things that makes this game so cool. You don't have to break and then wonder what's next. You just have to focus and put each ball in a pocket, and you can do it at your own pace. If you want to try for a better score, then it's perfectly acceptable. This game doesn't have any do or die rules. It's designed so that you can relax and have fun.

5 Star Fun, BUT.... This is a really fun game to play. It doesn’t hit you for money constantly. This is the game I turned to when my golf game achieved a level I could no longer afford to play. ****But you will pay by watching ads by the dozen if you play 20 minutes.**** It would have gotten 5 stars otherwise. I would prefer to pay $4.99 and be done with it. You can even go back and replay levels that were not played as well as you get better. The mechanics are really good the positionining tools are awesome both for the stick and curving the ball with adjustments to where to hit the cue. There are simply so many commercials. I also suspect this games mines your device for data so I’d suggest bringing up the dialog and quit the game when done.

Nice interface. Actually I really enjoy playing this. There are a couple tables that are very difficult and it makes you work much harder, which is a good thing. Otherwise it would be boring. The difficult ones are their own unique shape and that’s the challenge! The ads are annoying, but only between games. For free, what can you expect?!

Annoying Ads. This game is enjoyable other than the fact of so many ads being pushed on you. The excess of ads makes it leas desirable to play, especially when it forces the app store to open without consent from the user. Honestly it makes me hate the actual content of the product that is being shoved down your throat, fir that reason I would not consider one bit in engaging in any of the games being shown during the ads.

Love the game but.... I really love the game but the advertisement is really out of hand. When trying to listen to music or podcasts while playing or receiving and replying to a text message every time you switch back too the game you get another advertisement, even if you haven’t even played, EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! Plus when I click on an advertisement and actually download the game I shouldn’t have to sit through the rest of the sometimes close to a whole minute long advertisement! It should be eliminated with activated download!! Ridiculous!!!

I am on table 501. I have really enjoyed learning how to play this game. I have a solid concept of how to play on a real table now. Is there a way to turn OFF the guide? I chose the option that made the guide line smaller…however, I would like to test myself without a guide. Being able to turn the guide on and off would make it 5 stars. Kind Regards.

The Best!. Compliments to the Developer! PooKing is by far the best, most addictive, realistic, engaging and fun billiards app available! The only downside is, I’m a pro level pool player using the app, but, in real life I sucked at the playing the game. Lol, that was eons ago with friends in bars. Good, but could improve. This game is really relaxing and realistic. The graphics are nice and even the sound is good. However, the advancing is confusing. Each “level” is not really significantly harder than the next and because there is no reward, there isn’t much motivation to earn hearts. A reward system would be good, even if it were simple things. For example, so many combos can earn you “X” amount of coins where you can buy bonus levels or even a custom felt on the table. It’s clear in the beginning that the game isn’t following the rules of actual pool, especially by the design of the table. Adding onto this, there could be obstacles on the table to make certain shots harder and present more of a challenge. Overall, pretty entertaining game! Great job!

Very fun game!. Having a great time playing this game! Ads can be a little annoying but its expected in a free game. Gameplay is great, and love being able to change hit point on the ball too. Still has a few bugs for the dev work work out (no audio after an ad/video *with audio* plays, and sometimes a black ad will show with no close button - sometimes hitting top right works but other times have to quit the app and relaunch).

Aggravating ads after each round and game freezes up. I actually have to spend more time watching ads than playing each level. It is just too much and ruins the game. Game freezes up and won’t move on to next level. I have to uninstall the game and reinstall the game then it might play 10 to 20 games brfore locking up again. Very frustrating. 6/3/23 game still freezes and has to be reinstalled. It is a good game when you get to actually play it.

8 Ball. Eight ball pool city is pretty awesome. I love the fact that it allows you to use real-time English. English response is just like on a regular pool table that’s got new felt new cue sticks that have been prepped. If anyone out there is a real billiard aficionado you’ll know what I’m talking about. The only thing I might have an issue with is the controls need getting used to. I wish they had this for iMac desk top.

I can”t get enough. Once I hit table 1020 I have to uninstall and reinstall. This interface is the best. Possible enhancements: first, the ball determination algorithm for the heart or ball removal pockets could use some work. The closest shot is not always possible. The second enhancement, would be a retry last shot for a heart. The third enhancement, would be to be able to customize the pointer, to make it longer or thinner. — Thanks for a great game.

I’m hooked, but have only one tiny complaint.. I like this game very much and enjoy playing it. If there was anything I would change it would be the sound made when the crown appears for making all the shots. It should look and sound like regal, jewels glimmering kind of crown. Not a piece of tin or ball being pocketed. Other than that the game is great. Like I said, just one tiny complaint. 😁

Love. I love this game, the only thing I hate is the fact that I play this on multiple devices and I had to start over once my phone died. I was on level 500 ;[ there needs to be a option to either login, use as guest or work with Facebook like 8ball pool so all data can be saved. Overall I love this game it keeps me relaxed.

Great ad control !!!. Game is fun. Wish they would ad funkier tables and more balls but overall super fun and the ads are very tolerable!!!! This is how apps should control their ads !!! 5 thumbs up!!!!! I don’t understand how people are mad about the ads when all you have to do is hit an “x” !! Most games make you wait seconds before you can exit the ad. This game allows you to exit the ad instantly!!!

Addictive. ** Changed to 2 stars. It completely stopped working on my phone. Deleted and tried again a couple months later and still not working and no updates available. I played all 1060+ levels so I deleted and re downloaded. Very easy to play but not so easy that it’s boring. I gave 4 instead of 5 just because nothing is perfect. The problem I have with this game us that there’s a commercial after Every Single Game. That’s excessive and very annoying.

Top Side. I use this game to relax! I have went through all 120 games and now trying to mark ‘gold’ on all of them. I wish we were able to go back to the ‘one game’ you would like to play without having to ‘Stroll all the way through the games to get to the game I am trying to Ace’! With or without that request , I will keep playing till I Ace them all.

Very entertaining and addictive game. Love that it is single player and not online competition. Advancing levels generate greater difficulty via more irregular table layouts and greater number of balls. Allows english to be applied to cue ball. One small issue for developer: when cue ball is touching a ball, player is not afforded 360 degree placement of the stick, which skips over large arcs. Overall PooKing is a superb game.

ADDICTING!!. What can I say, hmm...exceptional fun! Easy to understand and movement is spot on. Now if I could just play this well at an actual table I'd be set! I've found it very hard to find a Pool app that has the elements to make it fun. This one has clearly done its job! Graphics are great. English is also spot on. I rarely give 5 stars, but I felt I had to because I keep coming back to this game to play some more. Awesome!!

Addictive pool game. At first the game was hard to play holding my phone. When I put it in a stand to play much better. Lining up the pool stick is easy and as long as the ball is going a short distance the line of sight arrow is very accurate. Would be better if the line of sight arrow went long distances also. Controlling how hard the stick will hit is not consistent. But over all very fun game, levels progress in a good rate of complexity. Will be playing more!!

Fun time killer. I enjoyed playing this game while watching tv etc. The different shaped pool tables really add to the complexity of the game. You get different scores for each table crown, gold, silver and bronze depending on how many missed shots you had while clearing the table. I didn’t move on until I got at least gold. The game doesn’t go any further than 1020 levels. Lol. Yes I finished them all.

Addictive. A lot of fun. Only a few glitches, but very playable. Level 620 starts with the three lower balls slightly off the table and they will play as if the lower bumper does not exist. Another level allowed two balls to sit in the same place at the same time, but that was minor compared to the use and enjoyment i have gotten out of the game. Now to become un-addicted (i have been through all the levels multiple times).

Nice time killer..LoL. I've really been enjoying this game, in fact it's very relaxing. To the Dev(s) I had to delete this game which I really didn't mind starting over. The issue is/was that the game was playing in very slow motion (about 3 weeks) and I didn't know how to resolve it. Nothing was working so I just reinstalled the game and started over. Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this problem, I just thought you should know. Thanks, Shine W 😄

Pool king (8 Ball). I enjoy playing this game, there is no real prize in the end however I find it totally relaxing and do enjoy getting receiving a Crown, I just wish I could put three crowns together, that is my challenge! It has taught me how the game is played on a real table as I now have a better understanding of the mechanics of shooting pool. Thank you got a fun game!

Bob C.. I‘ve been playing Pooking for “a long time” along with my other games. I have throughly enjoyed it. When the upper levels are achieved the difficulty is very challenging. The shot accuracy is more precise. Overall it is a lot of fun and I highly recommend it. My description of Pooking can be summed up in two words: VERY ENJOYABLE!

Love this game. This game is great.. there are a few ads that pop up after the round is over but you can just hit the x button and start another round. The tables get more challenging but there isn’t a time limit so you can take as much time as you need. If you like playing pool this is definitely a game you should consider downloading.

Excellent Game. I love this game. It’s very relaxing and enjoyable to play. I was able to do some trick shots too. Depending on how the balls are set up on the table. Try your best to the crowns. Because they give you bonus Cue sticks. Each stick has different levels of usage. Some hit harder some. Some spin Faster. And some bank the balls better. Keep up the great work. Oh the most important thing is. This game is Not a Memory Hog like most games are.

Challenging solo play. I just downloaded this game for something different to try. I am so enjoying just playing alone with the different challenges and the different tables. I enjoy a variety of gaming and Most have you collecting stuff or tournament play.I am enjoying just personal challenges.I am only on level 13 at this point but I look forward to seeing what might come next.

Lots of fun. I delete most games after a few weeks, but I very much enjoy this one. I’m currently trying to get a perfect game for each level - I’m over level 300 - so obviously, this game will hold your interest. Excellent physics and a pool hall feel make this a game to definitely check out - make sure you use the cue positioning tool when you play! It’s located at the top right corner the screen.

Great pool app, but....... I loved playing actual pool, but due to medical reasons I can’t anymore. I’ve been searching for a good pool app for a long time, and this could be it......with a few tweaks. Please make it possible to shoot the cue from the right hand side also. I have to cross over to the left to shoot, and it blocks my vision of the shot. I like all the set up shots, but make a table that’s racked balls and free for all shots. Have a stats listing, so I can see if I’m improving.

Great Game. The game is not only fun but teaches you how to think ahead and use English to make the cue ball go where you want it to go. It also teaches that shooting hard, hardly ever works. Different game 2nd time.. I played this game and got to somewhere around 582. But each time I would have to get back to the game by using my {finger print} button. No way to see how I was doing. I deleted the game and waited a few days and went back to it. Acts completely different now. Thank gawd you can X out the ads quickly. Very fun game and addicting. And of course I had to start all over, but that’s OK. Thanks a million.

PooKing Is A Awesome Game Because The Game Is Based And Fun Games And Fun Also Based On Pool Though Sometimes When I Try To Pull The Cue It Starts To Turn And I Don’t Hit My Target Because It Wasn’t Aiming At The Ball And I Think Of It As A Accident But The Game Is Still Good. Highly recommended. A very enjoyable game. It was a challenge, even for an expert pool player, to get all the way through each level. I gave it 5 stars and if I were to make a recommendation, I would suggest applauding a “run out” as opposed to a “2-ball” shot, as these shots are often just luck as opposed to run outs which require skill. This game teaches pool strategy and I love the overall theme of it.
