Activity Notifications. As a customer I would like to have account activity alerts (email, SMS, etc.) whenever a transaction meets my alert criteria (i.e over a certain payment amount, or my balance is below a certain amount ) so I can monitor for suspicious activity and maintain a budget. I’ve not seen a way to set this up in the web app or in the iOS app. I feel if I had this type of notification I would have been able to catch the fraudulent charges on my account sooner.
Was working..... After the switch to Further the app was working although not all the time. Fingerprint login was great. But I guess there was an update and now I have to reregister my device. I can no longer get past the registration section. It just says “loading” an does nothing.
Easy to navigate. Other similar apps are aggravating and quite a bit difficult to navigate. Further app takes me immediately to where I need to be and is easy to understand
Great App. This is a simple app to use-makes the process of getting reimbursed quick and easy.
Works great, needs more functionality. They’ve done a great job creating a very practical and useful app. So good in fact, I wish they would think of creative ways to increase the functionality of it.
Can’t see payee full name within the App. It would be nice to have a tab for all the setup payee. Very hard to select the payee in the payment page because the app doesn’t show the full name and it’s very hard to tell if we are paying to the right place.
Pays almost no interest; fees to invest. I’m required to use this company for my HSA. However, they keep 1k of my money in a bank account that earns .05% interest, in a world where 4% is common. You can choose to invest money in excess of 1000, but you have to go through their schwab agreement and pay $18 for that privilege. They also make you submit forms that are not required by law to make eligible health expense withdrawals. What’s to like? If they allowed us choices among HSA providers, no one would choose this option. Also, not legally a bank.
No more problems. I absolutely love there customer service and ways to help with healthcare pay needs
Quit working.. Was a fairly decent app until it QUIT WORKING. When I try to open the app it just stays on the “Hello” screen indefinitely. I finally just give up and close it. This app is now worthless and takes away all convenience as I now have to go through even more steps to upload my receipts instead of being able to just do it straight from my phone. Thank God I am changing employers and will no longer have to deal with this company and I can just delete this app altogether.
Mileage. There is not any pull down to get reimbursed for mileage - that is frustrating, as with the other program, members were able to get reimbursed for mileage. In our area we travel 80 miles one way for some doctors.
Easy To Use. Thanks for the new app! The couple former processes used to request reimbursement were not user friendly. Thanks for taking the time to update your app to be super user friendly!
Can’t get signed in!. I see reviews from months ago and it seems it’s not been fixed. Is anyone trying to fix it? When I get to the page to review privacy policy, etc. it stays loading until I delete the whole app. Oh and by the way, I’m unable to leave my own separate review..it only gives me the option to edit, unless it’s an old review I did, which I can’t tell. Added today: Still haven’t been able to get signed in.
Keeping track!. Love the idea I can keep track of my deposits and payments. Just wish the payments made through the app was electronic and processed faster to medical accounts!
Does not work. This app is completely broken. I can no longer log in even though I’ve had an account for almost a year. Stuck on the loading screen and customer support pretty much said there’s nothing they can do about it. I will be switching my HSA to another provider for this coming year.
Very User Friendly. It is nice to have an app so easy to access your health account and see your activities. Giving insight of every transactions. I also like the fact you can deposit to your health account separately from what come out of your paychecks. I recommend using the app.
Just one wish. Wish there was a way to upload photos of my receipts through the app. Maybe there is but I just haven’t figured it out yet.
Good to check status but needs improvement. There is no way to upload support for reimbursement requests and you have to go to the website to upload docs
Further. I love the convenience of this app there are a few bugs with my iPhone. Passcode to sign in is never very responsive and selecting things sometimes isn’t either. Otherwise very easy to use.
Worthless. I have put in my user name & password multiple times, press continue & it does nothing. A minute or so later it tells me timeout waiting for user response. Response to what??? The only option I have of responding is to press continue which I have tried repeatedly. This app is worthless. Sad when you can’t even get past the sign in screen.
Family members. I don’t understand why all authorized family members are not available in the dropdown menu. I have to choose Other and then manually type my spouse’s name in. Why isn’t her name already available in the dropdown? Also, the app should “remember” providers previously submitted so that you don’t have to manually type them in each time. Thank you.
Easy to Submit Claims!!!. I was NOT looking forward to submitting my claim. I thought it was going to difficult. I decided to check out the app and see how it worked. I was pleasantly surprised how easy this was to use!! I was able to submit 3 different claims in a matter of 10 minutes! Very easy to use!! Thank you for making this simple!!
Apps down.. No longer lets me log into my app anymore and if I long in through a web user it doesn’t show me my balance. Hopefully there’s a number to call for a balance on the card. Otherwise I’m telling my employer to take me off of this.
Update. I completed the most recent update for this app and now it doesn’t work. I can no longer log in to my account. Hopefully this issue is fixed soon.
So easy to use.. Thank you for developing this app. It is much easier to submit claims!!
Good, but could be better. The app is very easy to use, but could be improved with a couple of changes: 1. Remember the names of family members in the drop down list. 3. On the FSA Activity list distinguish between when a reimbursement is being reviewed, approved and denied instead of requiring a drill down into each request.
App won’t open. I found the app really useful but I can’t get it to open now. It just sits on the open page and nothing I do will change it so I can get into my account.

Face scanning login. I used the app for the first time today and everything seems to work great. But, at the login it asked if I wanted to turn on the fingerprint scan for login...on my iPhone X (which has face, not fingerprint scanning).
Simply to use. Very easy to navigate to each section and easy to upload documents and required supporting information
So easy. Getting reimbursement is so easy!!! Just follow the steps and take a photo of the bill. Thank you. Now I have to get myself that debit card.
Only works half the time. I’ve had this app for about a year now and when it works it’s great....but it only works about 45% of the time and when I try and log in, all I get is a Home Screen and nowhere to log in. I’ve been trying to log in for 4 days now and I get nothing. I have much better luck with the full website but the app is worthless half the time.
PDF. It would be somewhat more convenient if the app would allow you to also submit attachments as pdfs instead of via the camera roll or camera
Deposit feature is not working. The screen needs to be fixed. The select fields all go blank. I can see the dollar and tax year values when selecting them but then the fields on the screen are blank except for the fixed text and the radio button is not available to select.
Not working. This app used to work fine. Now it won’t even let me log in. Just has a sign in button and no place for user name password. Click on sign in and says they switched to a new platform. 3 hrs later go to sign in and it works fine. Seems like they need to update the app ASAP!
App is not useful. Your app is a nightmare! It stalls out on the sign in page. I had a pleasant experience when i called your company live, but the inconvenience is not working for me.! I will likely be moving my funds to another HSA who values me as a customer and can provide easy to use web based options.

Ok. I like that I can submit claims with the app which works fairly slick, but to verify Further received and is processing the claim is not clear. It’s also hard to navigate & see your account totals. It’s like you have to go through a bunch of back doors to get to that information.
Entire company doesn’t seem to work for consumers. Both people in our household need access and we are never able to use the mobile app or get into our account online on a phone or actual computer. The entire system needs to be fixed! Very frustrating especially when you want Your Own money that is due to you!
Decent. This app gets the job done but is inferior compared to the mobile site. I’d prefer date selections from a calendar view and overall the information is limited when viewed in the app. It seems futile to download an app if the mobile site is more user friendly.
“Loading, loading, loading”. Similar to all the other reviews, app gets hung up at the “read and agree to terms” section and never goes anywhere. Obviously, you are aware of the problem as replies have been made from you regarding this specific issue. It’s been several months since you first acknowledged the problem...when will it become important to fix it?
Good app. It’d be nice if Touch ID is set up to automatically prompt for that when the app starts. Opening the app just shows the login button. Why have to click that when that’s the only option to move forward. A minor item that would be nice. Be nice to have a bit more detail on the investment side of things. Thanks!
Doesn’t open. I download the app and waited for it to load it’s just at what appears to be a homepage it does not have any options to login or anything for that matter. I thought that the app would work better for me than the website but I can’t get the app to open so I’ll continue to use the website until a better app is created for Select account now known as further.
Useful app. I’m giving the app 4/5 because it works nicely. While I can’t manage the investment portion of my money, I am able to see how much there is. Also, if I could get Further and Mint to work together I would be extremely happy. Select used to work with Mint but since they switched it has failed to work.
Trouble free. Easy to use! It’s refreshing not having to put a ton of mental effort in to get your own money.
HSA Features Are Good - No Investment Account Access. It would be very convenient if it were possible to view the investment account from this app as well. Even if it simply launched an in-app browser window, since the investment site is technically different than the HSA site. Unfortunately, you still have to use the web browser for this option. Also, the App Store description states that one of the features the ability to transfer funds to the investment account. I’ve been through every menu option and this is not available as described.

11/30/21 - App Doesn’t Work. Just downloaded, can’t enter username. Most I can key is 1 character. Using ipad, closed all other apps and restarted. Credentials work when keyed through browser.
App no longer works. Had to update app. Now it no longer works. Put in info and it just spins and spins thinking about it…FIX IT PLEASE!

App stopped working. The app used to work but now it won’t let me log in and doesn’t have any fixes. Worthless
Doesn’t Work. Further has been sending me emails encouraging me to download their app. Finally decided to give it a go. No luck. Downloaded the app and when I open it, it just sits on the home page. There is no space to enter a user name or password, but there is a button that says ‘enter username’ and if I click on it I just get an error message. I tried deleting the app and reinstalled it a couple of times with no success.
Further App works great. Very handy way to manage HSA distributions, simple and fast!
Not working. Our company switched to Further for FLEX spending accounts because it was supposed to be more streamline. I have yet to be able to make a claim because the app is not working nor will the online site let me sign in. Please fix.
Server Error. Wanted to use but can’t login. Keeps giving Sever Error. So much for mobile productivity.

Horrendous web app. This isn’t a native iOS app. It feels very clunky and has connectivity issues very often.

Prior Year-to-date. A year-to-date for the prior year is needed to track contributions to the prior year especially because you can make prior year contributions until tax day in the current year!
Needs work. Doesn’t let you log in with keychain and if you register with an email it will still say your account doesn’t have one which prevents you from signing in
Incomparable with iPad. First your app only works in the portrait screen which is user-unfriendly, now won’t allow me to sign in. I’m deleting you. Mike Swanson

Always “Server Error “. Every time I try to login it says server error. APP is useless. Can log in with no problem through the website on the laptop.
Has potential..... If it would let me log in I would love it. It has all the functionality I need but if you can’t log in, it’s worthless. I hope it gets fixed at some point, it would be great to have quick access to my HSA.
Further app. This app needs to be fixed ever time you open it you get an error and I have tried removing and reinstalling. All I ever get is the error unable to process at this time no matter which way I login.
HSA good, Investments AWOL. The good is that you can see your HSA balance, transactions, eligible products and more. The bad is that you can see your investment balance only, and no more. No ability to change elections.
How to set up?. I just downloaded the app, and I can’t get past the first screen. It just says “hello” - there is no login/password space, no menu - how do I get in?

Nothing.... When I start the app, I get nothing except the splash screen... Nothing ever loads.
Too Bad. Was useful and the stopped working. Possibly stopped working after recent iO update. Don’t use that often to be sure. Now it started asking for login credentials again, when it was previously working fine with fingerprint recognition. Won’t complete the re-registration process, usually after accepting the privacy policy it hangs up, but after a recent try it never even emailed the activation code it said it would, despite multiple tries. USELESS!!
Terrible HSA company. The do their best to charge your HSA and keep your FSA

Recent update killed app. Not sure what you did behind the scenes but it broke the app. It just sits on the home screen asking me to enter username and then tells me unable to process. Please fix it

Not Ready for Prime Time. This app has done nothing but get hung up. Getting the authentication code sent took at least 10 minutes to deliver each time and then the code wouldn’t work. Finally got a code to work but now at sign in the app spins and goes right back to the sign on screen.
Going to a better provider. About 2 yrs ago I had $500 even if I didn’t swipe the card and it’s like now I don’t even have that I get deducted money even without using it
