Time Laps and Motion Lap broken on 5Dmk4. Time lapse and Motion Laps are broken, it will only take a few pictures and then it locks up and red light activity turns on the camera but the gimbal is still running its program. Fix this ASAP please.

DJI RONIN RS 3 issues with app. Just bought a DJI RS3 and there is definitely some software bugs that needs to be fixed with the integration of the DJI RS3 and the app. As it doesn’t work smoothly and at the moment RS3 is stuck updating every time I turn it on and the app says update 80% every time… As well as the gimbal instructions are terrible for set up with a Sony a 7iii using the usb c cable to control the camera and trying to use the auto focus motor. I do not understand why DJI can make their fly more app and drone work for kids but not this app or experience as it’s to glitchy.

Terrible App or Equipment?. I have the Ronin SC and it has a tough time connecting to the app through bluetooth…i tried every possible solution i can find on y’all website NOTHINGS working.. tried deleting and reinstalling the app, tried turning my phone off and back on etc.. idk what can be the case with this problem but i feel like i wasted $200 for sure.

Disappointing. this app seems way under developed, considering how well other DJI apps work with their products. I can never connect my phone to my DJI mini four nor does my camera work well while the app is connected.

Motion lapse doesn’t work with Sony a7iii. It would be nice if half of the features you advertise actually worked. I’ve wasted 3 hours of my life trying to get this to work. At this point I’m ready to just buy another product since yours doesn't actually work. Tisk tisk. Very disappointing.

Choppy iPad Playback. DJI SDR works fine on the receiver unit and iPhone but video playback is extremely choppy on my M2 iPad Pro. I mainly bought this for iPad playback so if a fix doesn’t come quickly I’ll be returning it

Working well; iPad app please. The app is working well with my new SC2. It’d be really great to have an iPad version that uses the entire screen.

Important features missing to make this work. 1. Add a loop function for keyframes - ping pong or repeat. This is critical for interviews and similar scenarios. 2. Keyframe mode needs to support focus control. Otherwise it’s pretty useless and not competitive with other motion control systems such as Edelkrone etc These features seem really small and like oversights of making this a really good solution for secondary cameras without needing an operator. Such a downfall without it. 3. Also why is there no video feed visible from the Lidar video feed on RS3 Pro? On RS2 this works fine with Raveneye and one can set the object to focus on that way, but not that the Lidar uses it’s own video feed we can no longer see the video in the app. It’s better for the Lidar to have its own video for improved tracking and less hassle (eg no need for SDI to HDMI conversion), but now one can only set the tracking frames with that little screen on the gimbal :-( ughh…. 4. The Activate Track does not learn faces really so when a person exits the frame and comes back, all tracking is lost. This is really bad compared to some other systems on the market and really needs to be improved hopefully with some firmware updates.

Issue on UI with iOS 13 with iPhone XS!. I cannot upgrade my ronin sc firmware because the top buttons are on top of the upgrade notification, plz fix !

It crashes. It crashes on ios 9 please fix it

Minimal Camera Control. The app works good, but is necessary without the command unit. Even with the command unit, there’s minimal camera control on the Ronin. All the other gimbal companies allow control of ISO, shutter speed, etc. Why not DJI?

Cant update my ronin sc. The app hasn't been fixed to work with the iPhone 11 pro max so I can't press certain buttons within the app because they are covered by other buttons

It works.. It’s not always the most elegant or logical app, but it works. Helpful tip: some of the advanced features like Active Track require your phone be mounted on top of your camera, so definitely check the videos and user guides before rigging up your camera.

Garbage app. For a premium product this app is a massive failure . For starters , there’s the cryptic and minimalist error messages we get . The solutions to the errors in the app lead us to a minimalist set of instructional videos designed by idiots for idiots . The internet didn’t lie though, there is force control and you can fine tune various parameters with the app . Now whether those settings are mathematically accurate is another story . DJI doesn’t even have an iPad app for this device so you’re essentially left having to tweak these premium gimbals with their awful app on your phone . This app is gimmicky, at best . Feel free to peruse a Reddit and the DJI forums . The app is nothing to write home about . Massive let down .

Works… sometimes. Need a more robust connection than an app for pro use.. If you want pros to buy your stuff, then have professional (robust & redundant) solutions for configuring and calibrating your products. Poorly written apps are not the way.

DO NOT PURCAHSE, DO NOT PURCHASE IT. I purchased 2 drones, and one Gimbal DJI SC2, I got in contact with the tech department and the repair department, and I have received bad customer service and tech service, No resolution at all, I don’t want to replace it, and I don’t want to take advantage of the situation, I am willing to pay for the service, but I have not received a good service at all and neither a resolution, Good product but the customer service the worst.

Changing password does nothing. I can’t log in so I reset passwords, still no access. Try changing it again, and still no access.

Updated Ronin S expecting to see newer algorithms. Updated Ronin S expecting to see a better algorithm for smoothness, especially when reviewing the newer Ronin SC2. Are there plans to offer this in a future update for the Ronin S?

App resets every time. I think this app works GREAT!! The only reason I gave three stars is because ALL the settings in the app reset for my ronin-s every time I turn the gimbal off. I have an IPhone 7Plus and I know this has been the same problem for others that have this phone. PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE AND I WOULD RATE 5 STARS.

It’s.... fine I guess.. Just bought a Ronin-S and focus motor. Saw the update that said it added the ability to control the focus motor from the app but it’s only available for the Ronin-SC and not the SC’s big brother. Don’t half-ass feature rollouts DJI. It leaves a bad taste in the mouths of your customers. The rest of the app is fine. What’s offered mainly works as you’d expect so I can’t say much negatively there. And an iPad version would be nice too. If I have my phone on the Ronin for ActiveTrack, then it’s kind of hard to use the rest of the app.

Stop Supporting DJI. This Application never works. Cannot connect my Ronin-S. Does not show up on device list. Have not been able to use app at all. Need someone to fix this. It’s been too long with these app issues. Cannot support the product anymore since it cannot be fully used. Buying other companies gimbals and Drones. Friends and family will also move to other companies.

We need focus control in track mode. I wish we could use the focus motor on the ronin sc to control focus or zoom while in track mode.

works flawlessly with ronin-sc. i just recently purchased a dji ronin-sc. i was expecting a troubled experience with this app based on other reviews. to my surprise, it has been one of the more reliable apps that i’ve used. my app version at time of review is 1.6.2. it has worked great. easily connects to the ronin-sc and has all the functionality that i require at this time. the quality of the dji software is one of the reasons i chose a dji gimbal over some other brands. it had better reviews than competitors. i was hoping it would be reliable and easy to use. i have not been disappointed.

Won’t even download. I have an iPhone XR with iOs 13.7 and I cannot download this app. The DJI drone app works fine but the gimbal is rendered pretty useless without it. The app gets about 2/3 of the way done and even when left to download overnight it will not finish installing. I’ve reset my iPhone many times and done every troubleshooting method I can think of and still nothing.

Wrong writing.. Hello I like the app no complaints. The only thing you guys need to fix is that you are missing a letter un Der FPV description inside the user profiles.

Can’t login. This is terrible. There is no reason I should be having a problem login in this company is making all this money and can’t have an efficient running app. Is there any other apps I can you for my Ronin S?

Track movement duration broken.. Just got an RS3 mini. The only create function worth using for me is Track, but the Movement Duration is stuck at 2s or N/A. It's broken and can't be changed. Please fix it.

Development Request: Active Track + iPad Dual App Instance Usage. *1st review in 10yrs of downloading apps :-/* End user request: —> Implement Dual Device Usage: Device usage/details: In my workflow I use and LOVE active track. With a dedicated iPhone mounted for usage with Active Track it is cumbersome to make gimbal config changes. It would be nice to use a second device \ \ \/ With the addition of an iPad running another instance to make changes on the fly to control gimbal settings while camera is remote and actively tracking subject the workflow would be usable and less repeat shooting will occur due to an inability of granular control. (would either an API pass to a 2nd app to drive remote config changes or a 2nd instance of the Ronin app passing config GUI via the app layer?) It is obtrusive to cine/video workflow in the single device configuration using with active track in its current state. Please please please resolve this as you will have many more satisfied customers that will come back for more :-) Thanks kindly for all your amazing products! Staying tuned for more

PAN AXIS REBALANCE. FOR THE LIFE OF ME I can't get that stupid "PAN REBALANCE NEEDED" notification cleared out when balancing the ronin s. I've watched several videos and forums and it's as perfect as I can possibly get it balanced while its off, but when I turn it on and do the balance test I get the rebalance notification on the pan axis. Help plz

update please！. the UI issue on iOS 13 beta is boring me for months, now the iOS 13 is landing for everyone’s iPhone, please update immediately. Another problem is the support for new cameras such as SONY A7R4. The Ronin hardware is a very good product, but the app is not.

Works with Sony A7 IV but…. I’m able to control my new A7 IV, but not unless you follow procedures in a specific order, much like a NASA Shuttle Launch. I use the MCC cable, and you can’t do some functions, such as AP/Sh/ISO control on the app. This doesn’t kill me. However, a silly but BIG bug using the app and RavenEYE is that the CAMERA REC button and APP do not stay in sync with each other if you use the Camera’s REC button. What’s worse, is when you DO hit record on the camera, then hitting the rec button on the gimbal or app are now OPPOSITE of what’s really shown. I’ve submitted an entire bug report, but have to wade through the usual “did you do this, try that, firmware update, different device” stupid routine. I wish the app was more “English”; as of now, you feel like you’re working through some cheap video tool that’s been translated from Chinese.

Software updates are to slow. Love the gimbals but software updates are to slow. Just bought sony a7r V been waiting for software update for this camera for 2 months and zero :/

Black Screen. I was able to view the screen on my iPhone but now nothing

Doesn’t Work. Fails to connect to my Ronin-S. Identifies it, but then sits on loading when you try to pair until it quits out. Doesn’t work on my iPhone or iPad.

Issues with full screen and want active track added when using SDR. I use my iPad on an external display to make a larger client monitor however this app won’t go full screen like competitor apps. The Option is there but the app won’t do it. Can you please fix this? Also you loose active track when using SDR for wireless yet have all the other functions work. Once they add these features I feel like the app will be a lot better.

Account Required for Use. It is absolutely absurd that he would spend a few thousand dollars on their equipment only to be told you can’t activate it unless you can login with an account. I suppose if you bought lights from them, if they ever design lights you wouldn’t be able to turn them on unless you had an account.

Sony No Go. It’s 2018...why in the heck is anyone depending upon IR as a remote control solution, especially a tech company like DJI? If you are expecting for your Sony mirrorless cameras to be compatible with the Ronin-S, well...they aren’t compatible...exactly. DJI supplies an IR cable as a half-baked solution to control the shutter and record functions for the Ronin-S. IR has high failure rates in bright sunlight. And, forget about the zoom wheel...it doesn’t work with Sony. There are videos showing how to hack the system by using a Sony IR remote, which is also a half-baked solution. Let’s go, DJI, get your stuff together and get this problem solved in the next firmware update!

Incomplete functionality and poor connection. The “creative” modes ( track and cam anchor) don’t work on iPhone or in inverted/tripod mode. The camera will always orient towards the sky and the tap feature to position the camera does not work. I’ve spoke with DJI about this and there is no way to trouble shoot, except for just wait with fingers crossed for the next update to fix this issue. Also, connection from phone to ronin 2 drops often, and the only way to get it back is to power cycle the phone and reconnect . I’m hoping these issues are resolved in the next update, as the creative functions would be great tools to have if they worked. One more thing, still waiting for the rumored “roll 360” function to be released... hopefully in the next update as well.

Camera choice on active track. Active track is worthless if u can’t zoom in on subjects. At least give the option to select iPhone lens

Keypad for signing in does not work. When I go to sign in the app to connect with device it literally does not allow me to enter letters, only numbers into the entry area. It is impossible for me to enter a password because of this. I have tried this across multiple iPhones and iPads—-this is a app problem. Very poor experience, probably returning because of the software problem. I am unable to even get into the app because the developer does not know how to create the UI interface correctly—-don’t create a password and then create a defective sign in.

Garbage, garbage App!. It said I had already created an account... so I do forgot my password and says it sent me an email to reset password... I haven’t got the email yet.. 🤔 soooo I cant even sign in or sign up.... so I can’t even use the gimbal I bought at bestbuy...

Updated app, now I can’t connect to Ronin-S. Had no problems before updating. Now I keep getting an error message to move closer or restart.

Motors stopped working after firmware update. I just updated the firmware before a wedding and now the gimbal motors are not working. It connects to the app but it does not respond to anything. Very frustrating situation i hope no one has to go through this.

Firmware stuck at 0%. So I just got the Ronin SC this app recognizes the device and requires an firmware update. But once I start the update it never goes past 0% it’s a little ridiculous that using this app is the only way to get this update. It seems this could be easily done better if we could just plug it into our computers to get the update instead

No active track with SDR transmission. Please enable active track with SDR transmission. It doesn’t make sense that active track is supported with raven eye but not SDR transmission.

terrible time balancing a simple set up!. Just purchased Ronin RS2 Pro Combo , and I’ve had a terrible time balancing a simple set up! I’ve watched several tutorials, firmware up to date, pan axis keeps failing balance test! I was really excited about this, but this is fading fast! Please help

Would be perfect if they add 1 thing. First off the app works great, connects quick and easy, everything works as it should, however it does not allow you to keyframe the focus servo along with the movement in track and timelapse modes, the creative potential would be outstanding if they allowed for it. There is no technical reason they cant do it because you can already adjust focus focus in the app. Once they add this I will change my 2 star to 5 stars

Zoom control with forced motion. The zoom/focus control is non existent in forced motion. It’s in controller mode so would love to see this function in forced motion with maybe like a single axis virtual joy stick.

Raven eye tracking. Its a good start! Tracking is impressive for first iteration. Some better machine learning refinement and its going to be fantastic. Hopefully they spend some R&D time rather than moving on to next years product...

terrible bluetooth connection. Using RS4 PRO - This app constantly disconnects from Bluetooth and then wont reconnect, I then have to restart both devices just to get it to connect again, incredibly frustrating when filming under a time crunch.

Can’t sign up. I haven’t had a chance to test the product because I cannot sign up!! Keep saying email invalid despite using different names for my email!!! Please help

No IPad support???. It’s 2020.. no excuse to not have your app responsive. Planned to use the raven eye for director and can’t even give them a full screen image

Missing features. Focus peaking only has one colour which is ridiculous, and there’s no de-squeeze option for anamorphic lenses.

Connection failure!. Why can’t I simply connect the app with Ronin-S..? All firmware updated & battery is fully charged & Bluetooth is on & I’m loading the app right next to it. But it just not connecting to the gimbal. Please help!

Panorama function broken. In version 1.2.2 the panorama overlap is additive instead of subtractive. Making the pan rotation positions totally incorrect.

Track mode needs work. Why does setting up a "track" mode behave differently than a motion lapse? I'd like to use the gimbal's joystick to set the camera in the precise direction and then lock in that key frame. But I can't. Adding a key frame just creates one in a random location. If I create a key frame in the apps graph view, the accuracy is not great. Why not allow push mode here? Without this level of control, it's almost impossible to get your framing correct. Seems like a bug.

Ronin S update. What about the ronin s, can we have the same modes and settings like the ronin sc? Active track, fpv mode, force mobile mode?

It would be great if your videos were in the app and didn’t need to be played over data.. Having the tutorial videos in the app would help a lot when trying to balance the camera when I am somewhere without data nor wifi. And it sucks that I sometimes have to have the gimbal ON in order to watch the balancing videos. Isn’t the gimbal have to off for us to balance it?

Quite good.. All in all the app functions well, the features are cool. I’ll rate if five stars when: 1: The app should reconnect to my ronin on launch if there is only one device configured in the app. 2: there seems to be a bug in the balance test that always says that the pan needs rebalancing. Ronin-S bricked. Absolute garbage how you can just brick your past tech with app updates and call it a Bluetooth issue. It’s not.

Won't install on iOs 14.7.1. I have tried to install the app so that I can actually use my new Ronin RS2. Unfortunately it will not install on my iPhone 12. How can I make this work?

Brand new device, unable to connect to device. I keep receiving a login error when trying to pair the SC to my phone. I am following the instructions. Very frustrating experience so far! I am able to successfully login to the website. @DJI - please help!

DJI Ronin waste of money. The limited use of this product makes it a waste of money. All the complexities of using external monitors, disappearing features in the app like motion lapse equals a lot of frustration. Starting to hate DJI

Password reset link broken. The password reset link is broken and DJI won’t let me activate my new product so my focus pro is basically useless.

No monitor for your camera. I was excited to get the Ronin SC but I was not able to monitor my shot through the app. The app only lets you control the gimbal. No monitor what a let down.

Robin SC. Piece of junk won’t stop spinning on pan axis. Had the gimbal partially working one time. Horrible customer service. App is junk. A waste of my money. Constant waste of my time. Time to shop for a crane.

Bug. The app is full of bugs and problems. My device automatically disconnects its Bluetooth and doesn't allow me to work with the device at all.

App doesn’t work with iOS 14. This problem was brought to DJIs attention during beta testing of iOS 14. Now months later and an update claiming to create iOS 14 comparability it still doesn’t work.

Ronin SC not connecting IOS 13. I recently purchased the Ronin SC and cannot use it due to needing to activate the device through the app. The SC is recognized but connects and disconnects frequently. I can’t find any help line from DJI. Very frustrated.

Balancing not accurate. It somehow always manages to say that something is off even when visually the gimbal doesn’t seem unbalanced!!!

Raveneye doesn’t work. I don’t know why but I can’t get the Raveneye to fully connect and work with my phone via this app. It connects via wi-fi but no picture shows up. Tried this on my phone and iPad, ZERO success.

Amazing. Wow! Great power in such a portable device! Great for beginners wanting professional style tools.

Asks for reviews all the time.. When an app doesn’t help but gets in the way by asking for a review 3 times in 3 minutes it’s gets one star.

I've watched several videos and forums and it's as perfect as I can possibly get it balanced while its off, but when I turn it on and do the balance test I get the rebalance notification on the pan axis. Help plz

Add Iphone 13 Compatibility. On your sight it says only up to iPhone 11 Pro Max would work and my iPhone 13 pro max won’t let me use the app please fix soon

Cannot upgrade firmware on iOS 13. Buttons to sleep gimbal and battery status are on top of firmware buttons. Please fix!
