My opinion. Hi. This game is probably for younger children, but if your a adult wanting to play this and reading this review, go ahead and get it! I’m 10 years old and this game is pretty fun! But I hate like, if I click on pikachu, pikachu says some weird groaning sound. Maybe make the pikachu say “Pika!” Or “pikachu” Please update and bye!!

For some reason i love it >_<. Ok so if your reading this do not make fun of me but i am 9 and I absolutely LOVE THIS GAME!! ❤️❤️❤️ If u are 3-5 i 100% recommend this game! (If you love pokemon) But there are a few things that i would like in the game <(•-•<) 1. Please add more pokemon i have all of then and they are ADORABLE but i really want more. -_- 2. Awesome for littles. My daughter came to me asking for this game and I fully anticipated having to shell out money for her to have an iPad pokemon experience but lo and behold this game doesn’t beg you to spend money for your kids to have fun. What an awesome find. My four year old loves Pokémon and this app is fun for her without bombarding us with pop ups. She’s having a great time with lots of kid appropriate activities featuring some of her favorite Pokémon, thank you.

It’s ok I guess.... Ok, so this game might be good for younger kids, but revisiting it I really see a lot of problems..... 1. There have been how many updates? Zero. So its just been the same stuff ever since it’s release date! I would really like to see some updates to the books, or maybe add some Galar Pokémon. 2. The activities are kinda... bland. You can put Pokémon in places, tap on the Pokémon, etc. But it seems kinda brainless.... 3. I really wish there was some way to use it kinda like Pokémon Home. This might seem WAAAAAAAY out there, but listen to me, if we could transfer Pokémon from our games to Pokémon Playhouse, that would be FREAKIN amazing! 4. THE GIRLS STUPID FREAKIN’ VOICE!!!!! It’s so annoying! Just a Text-to-speech voice sounds better than her! Pwetty pwease change her voice? It’s a very nice and kindhearted game, but the lack of actual gameplay just ruins it.

Great app for toddlers!. What happens when you take education for toddlers, Pokémon, and mini games? This is the result. What is so great about this app is that it takes Pokemon, and target it to preschoolers. You can read stories, make songs using Pokemon sounds, put these creatures in the playground, and much more, and earn more Pokemon for it. However, here are some reccomendations: 1: Add more Pokemon. When your child is done collecting all the Pokémon, eventually they'll get bored and stop playing. More cute Pokemon to the rescue! You can add more Pokemon from the Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, and Kalos regions by putting in Pokémon like Tailow, Skitty, the Azurill line, Gible, Tyrunt, Amaura, Fletchling, Dedenne, Emolga, Zorua, and Larvesta. That way there are more adorable Pokemon to take care of and play with! 2: Simplify. This is where it really hurts. Alolan Sandshrew is too complicated for preschoolers. Just call it "Icy Sandshrew". Same wth Vulpix, and for Raichu, "Surfing Raichu" Zygarde Core... Let's just call that Pokemon "Squishy Zygarde" because of Bonnie in the Pokémon XYZ anime. And don't "something" the berries, Just call the berries by their color. For example, Yellow Berry and Green Berry for Sitrus Berry and Lum Berry respectively, and the colors may help educate chidren more! Thanks for reading!

Very cute! But.... I really love this game! Even though I'm older then the age limit, but I do have only one concern... In the playground it says I can only have 6 Pokémon at a time there, it's not a huge problem but if you could could you maybe raise it by one or two? Cause that would be great to use more than 6 of my cute Pokémon! But other than that, great game! I really enjoy it and I hope this review gets noticed! :)

To the Creators. Ok first of all, it’s nice but I’m getting quite bored of it. 3 books... I like them but.. Not much of it. Everyone who likes Pokémon, this is NOT criticism, I love Pokémon, but honestly I would love it if you had updated it everyday by changing it up a little? And I want to help Pokémon more than groom them.... I want to make tunes for myself. And I just started playing and I got bored.... No offense... But I think you were pretty lazy on the game.... Because there are only 4 rooms! And I thought I could interact more with the Pokémon. And 2nd of all.... You honestly should have leveling up... For example; every time you level up you will get more books, or puzzles, or something like that. I just wish you put more work into the rooms and it’s games...

Needs more books!. I really love the game but it could use a phew more books. I also think it could use some of the small legendary Pokémon. Although I get why you didn’t put them in there. And since you have Allolla form Sandshrew and Vulpix, why not add there regular forms? Other than that it’s a perfect game and I would recommend it.

Lots of fun!. My daughter loves this game! Only downside is would love if you could add more than only 6 Pokémon to the playground at a time when there are so many spots to put them. Or at the very least, an easy ‘clear all’ button for them so you don’t have to find and remove them all individually.

It’s great for younger kids. My kids are 5 and 8 & they both really enjoy this game. There are a lot of different activities and it’s fairly easy to open eggs to earn more Pokémon. The only thing that bugs me is that every time you crack an egg you have to listen to the commentary and you can’t skip it. It’s just really repetitive and takes time away from the game. It’s a small thing but it would be amazing if you could skip through it.

It’s not bad but…. Great for young Pokémon lovers under 12+. I have been playing this game ALOT! I absolutely love it! I have a recommendation, two, actually. It is getting pretty annoying when it says "your egg has a crack"! And something like that. We already can tell, so I was wondering if you can take it off. My next recommendation is that if you can evolve Pokémon. It would be really fun. Also, maybe add that you can battle people? It would be really fun to train your Pokémon. Overall, this game is great. 5 stars. I hope you add/take away my recommendation(s)

Wonderfully made game. My young daughters absolutely love playing this game. I was excited to download this for them since I’m a Pokémon fan, and was pleasantly surprised as to how well made this game is. There are so many different things to do, from picture matching to hatching eggs. The best thing too is that there are no in app purchases or ads for them to accidentally click on. Five stars, all the way!

PokeDad gives a thumbs up!👍🏻. I love this app and my kids love it too! They’re 6 and 4 yrs old and their fine motor skills are definitely getting developed. They have a bunch of learning apps but this one they use for fun! Little do they realize they are learning too 😇 However, about two weeks ago they hatched all their pokemon and finished every activity at least once. They have their favorite activities but they’re starting to get bored of the same things over and over. So my request is that we need new content. More hatchable pokemon, more storybooks, more activities and maybe even a badge system where they can keep track of their progress and set goals for themselves. Still, great app!

Future ideas for Pokémon playhouse. Hi everyone I'm loving this little game I know it's for little kids but I can't get enough of the chibi art style I have some ideas for future updates for this game 1 definitely more Pokémon 2 have some more stories for the kids to see and hear because three Pokémon stories ain't enough 3 more activities like something for the kitchen area or include real time function so the game feels like it has a clock oh yes and tucking in the tired little Pokémon would be a nice little activity to help the young ones understand what bedtime is 3 how about adding two more hosts to the game so the normal one can have a break now and then oh and give her a new outfit because I think it would be fun to see a change once in a while If you like my ideas you can use them whenever you like

I'm older than 5, but I still have things to say. I'm 6 years over the target audience, but I still would recommend this game to kids 5 and under. It's a really cute game, and I played all the mini games at least once to see how good they were. And if I were a 5 year old, I would totally go back and play it again! Could not recommend this game more.

I’m a pre-teen and I love this game!. I know this is a game aimed at younger kids, but it is sooooo cute! I love playing the little mini games and everything, and, I have only been playing for about three hours! But the thing is, I got everything done really fast, but still wanted to keep getting Pokémon. But it’s getting repetitive hearing the same story or song three times in a row. Same with the puzzles, and the stars! And, I like getting more Pokémon, but I’m getting really bored. It would be nice to have a couple more stories and puzzles. But bored or entertained, this game is adorable and I love it so much. You just need to fix some things.😉🙂😄😃😆

Why dry the water types?. Ok so, one thing I noticed is you dry the water types, why? It makes no sense, they would want the water on them if there water types and the grass too, why wouldn’t the grass types want due on them that’s probably going to make them smell good, but it’s fine I guess about grass type, but water types wouldn’t make any sense with drying them.

Good game but..... This game is good! I like how's there's a lot of Pokémon in it and the games are pretty fun! My only big concern about this game is that it says the game is for ages 5 and under. Pokémon isn't for little children!!!!!!! In my opinion Pokémon should be for ages 8 and up because that's when I started playing it. They should make this game 8 and up and a little bit harder and more games. There are so many other things that younger kids can like. Pokémon shouldn't be for little children!

Ehh, it’s fine. I decided to try this app, and it was not good, nor bad. I mean there are some nice activities to do and cool Pokémon to discover and all that, but there are some flaws. First, there is not a lot to do. There are only a few activities in the game, including only 3 books to read. Second, this game is kind of outdated. The newest region of Pokémon in this game is Alola (Gen 7), and the newest update was 2 YEARS AGO. So I definitely wouldn’t mind updating the game and adding some new Pokémon. Finally, THAT GIRL WHO WILL NEVER STOP TALKING! YOU CAN BARELY EVEN GET 20 SECONDS WITHOUT HEARING HER, AND THERE ARE NO SETTINGS IN THE GAME TO TURN IT OFF. There are many good stuff, but there are a lot of bad stuff too, so I give this 3 stars overall. P.S. This isn’t really an issue but in the “More Apps” section of the game, it includes this game called “Camp Pokémon” and when I clicked on it, it said the game wasn’t available in my country.

There are problems. I wish you could add as many Pokémon as you want into the playground so the Pokémon in the playground now aren’t lonely, besides that I would love it if you could actually heal the Pokémon, not just put a bandaid on them. Could you do something were you could cook for the Pokémon..? That would be great. Actually healing, cooking would make the game more fun and would help the kids learn a little more. Other than all that, I would give you those five stars if you could actually DO things, this game is perfect for young Pokémon fans, they could read and interact with Pokémon books... wait could you make more Pokémon books? My little sister is getting tired of reading the same books over and over again. That’s all I have to say about this game.

my kids LOVE it!. my kid are 6 and 8 an they love pokemon. the app is WAY too cute! i remember when i found the app the girls were like, “MOMMY, GET ME THIS APP!!!!” so i did! they played the game a lot so they really seem to like it. Every single day they are like “ look mom! i got a pokemon, it is so so so so cute!” i’m very impressed with the game and my kids. my favorite thing to do is watch my kids play & it is super cute. it is my absolute best app! i like how there is no in app purchases and it doesn’t take wifi to play! i also want more activities to do with pokemon. also simalar apps to this. i love pokemon playhouse! i think: Cute, Fun And Simple what happens all the time: my kids keep playing and never stop.

Little kids love this and I do too. Look, I love this game. It’s cute and I Juts love you can do anything without having a certain thing to do It. I dropped the game but not for any bad reason. My Toddlers LOVE It!. My daughters are 3 and 5. I downloaded this app for them because they know and love Pikachu and I thought it would be a fun treat for them. My daughters weren't too sure of it when they started, but the next day, they were asking for their "Pokémon Game!" Over the past few days, my daughters have gotten enthusiastic about their 15 minutes of game time, with the favorite activities being puzzles and grooming for my 3 year old and stories for my 2 year old. And as a Pokémon fan myself, it's nice to hear my three year old cry out "mommy, i got a (Pokémon)! Yay, it's so cute!!" Cute and inviting art style with a simple, toddler friendly interface makes it easy for little ones to figure out how and where to get to other games, while hatching eggs keeps it novel to them. Growing complexity keeps the game challenging and activities help enrich learning (learning to look closely, reading, matching, identifying information, patterns) all in all, a FUN game for smaller kids that even parents can feel good about! Pros: learning, cute, simple Cons: my kids keep taking my phone

The Pokémon Park. I found a glitch. When you finish your Pokémon thing and you’re egg hatches, the screen turns black for the background, when you exit the park and get back in it no longer has the screen, also my Pokémon bar glitched, the Pokémon glitched off the bar. It would be nice if you could fix that, even though its funny i dont like it. Thank you.

Its Okay…. My little four year old brother got this game, and I decided to try it out. Honestly the best thing to do is the music, but it does the same Pokémon over and over. One group was Granbull, Snivy, Wobbuffet (probably spelt wrong), and Fennekin. Then another group came, then it was Granbull and the others again! Also, please add a mode to choose your own Pokémon and make your own music. Good for a little bit, gets repetitive after a while though. This game is good for a bit because you see all the different games. After a bit though, the game gets boring. Too Cute; Great For Young Pokémon Fans!. ... Or ones like me, who are young at heart after 20 years of Pokémon adventures. This is the kind of Pokémon content that I wish existed when I was a child. Containing Pokémon from nearly every generation, it gives young fans a glimpse of the main game mechanics (Pokémon Refresh/Amie, Egg Hatching, and a simplistic "Pokédex") while adding in new interactive features, like storybooks and games. Older children may not be entertained for long, but there are a fair number of Pokémon to collect and play with, and a handful of mini-games. I can also see this app being valuable to kids who are at an early reading age, as the names of the Pokémon are enunciated very clearly and often-- good for memorization and pronunciation skills. And to any parent who may read this: please take the time to engage your child as they enjoy Pokémon. My mother used it as an incentive to make learning more fun back in the 90s, and the time and enthusiasm that she invested into my interests imparted life-lessons and memories that I'll never forget.

ONe thing MISSING. Please can you add more Pokémon to this I mean I always dreamed of having evolution where a Pokémon such as eevee would stay in the Pokédex but then a new slot is unlocked. Here’s how I was thinking: you can cancel the evolution action but if you decide to evolve your Pokémon: 1.You can’t play with eevee anymore but you can find it in the dex 2. You can care for your Pokémon specifically 3.You can equip your buddy who follows you and accompanies you. THINGS TO NOTE: -This evolution thing is only available after you collected all the eggs -you can only take care of first evo pokes excluding snorlax -once you evolve it remember YOU WONT BE USING ONE EVO BUT IT WILL BE NEW EVO —————————— Please at least make an update on the playground or the buddy update —————————— I understand how hard programming can be and I would just think if you could make buddies or evolution it would be awesome!!!

It is so much fun but I have some suggestions…. So one thing. ADD THE PÒKEMON FROM SWORD, SHEILD, VIOLET, AND SCARLET! I want to play with all of the Pokémon. FINALLY!!!. THIS is the app the world was missing. Thank you for creating the "Toca Boca" app for the youngest Pokefans. My hubby and I both grew up w Pokemon, we play Pokemon Go, and our young boys have a dozen plush at least already. They are into what we are into, but too young for a lot of the Poke stuff. Until now. To you young whippersnappers saying 'Pokemon isn't for young kids'. What?! It's collectible monsters! If anything, it's MADE for kids! All kids! Young kids! Adult kids! Get over yourselves. Have a kid one day. Try to share your interests. Rejoice when that becomes easier. This app is Pokemon for behbehs and it's awesome.

Maybe add more books and game or rooms?. I was wondering if you could add maybe drawing as one of the games along with healing and add battling or level or evolveing and add 2 types of puzzles jigsaw puzzle and finding a Pokémon in a bunch or Pokémon and try updating to galla and sword and shield Pokémon and more songs and LOTS of more games and better graphics will be good sorry if this is to much but just add one of my suggestions i please please PLEASE want more books! any books!

Great little game!. Yes, I know this game was designed for little kids, and yes, I know I’m an adult...But it’s Pokémon, for crying out loud! It’s really not a bad app at all, and is very well-designed! I’ve been a Pokémon fan since I was young, and I believe any true Pokémon fan can legitimately enjoy this app. It’s actually very relaxing, and perfect for those times where you’re stressed in life and just want to relax and have fun with cute little Pokémon without worrying about battling, IVs, EVs, the meta, etc. Think of this like Pokémon Amie from X/Y or Pokémon camp from Sword and Shield! 10/10 rating from me! Great for Pokémon fans of all ages!

It's ok. Big changes. I long time ago when I was really young I would play this and now it is so much different then when I used to play it. Back then it was targeted to older kids about 8 years old but now it is targeted to 4 year olds. It is still a great game for toddlers but it’s changed a lot.

Surprisingly fun!. It is more fun than I thought! Also I have update ideas one is a bedroom for the Pokémon so you can dress them up and put them to sleep! Another idea is more books so people can read more stories! Anyway I really like the game and it is more fun than I thought

Pretty crappy.. The Pokémon just make weird moaning/groaning sounds instead of actually sounding like the Pokémon they are. The little girl in the app NEVER shuts up. She’s constantly talking in a really loud voice towards the player. There’s also NO settings. I spent 10 minutes trying to find the settings and they don’t exist. There’s a thing at the main screen that has a parental lock but even once you get through that it’s just other game recommendations. Nothing to adjust settings. Its just not as fun as it should be. You guys can do better. Make the sounds more realistic, put in some settings, and fix the glitches aswell.

This game is low effort OK.. I am writing this because this game, yes, it’s fun, but it seems like this game has barely any content other than 5 interactable areas, only at least 10 mini games, and the worst two problems of all, no updates, and BARELY ANY POKÉMON. There are so many great cute Pokémon to add in gens 3 to 6, and the only Pokémon in between them that’s not starters is Combee and Munchlax, and BOTH of them are in Sinnoh. There are so many new things to add, honestly, there could be 20 mini games for all I care, just update the game! Yes, this was made during the Alola region, but MAKE a Galar and possibly Hisui update. Pokémon that would be perfect fits for this game would be Litwick, Fletchling, Zigzagoon, and BUG types. I am so angered how there are almost NO bug types, and the whole Pikachu line gets the full evolution line! Yanma, Weedle, Scatterbug, Sewaddle, we need more Pokémon. I was gonna rate this three stars, but I want people to know about this issue, so I’m giving it a one star. The only reason I got this game is because I was bored and I like Pokémon. But please, add SO MANY MORE THINGS, I’M DYING TO SEE NEW STUFF AFTER SO LONG!

Good for kids. Having problems with sound and can’t hear instruction. A problem on my end I’m guessing. 4 year old loves it and how easy it is to be rewarded. Navigation and organization could be simpler. Maybe arrows pointing where to go.

Started off great.... My toddler loves this game.. but after playing a few times the sound just disappeared and there’s no option to adjust sound or turn it on. Definitely not my iPad because all my other apps work just fine. I even deleted and re-uploaded the app (losing Pokémon he had found) and nothing.

Love this!. My son is 3.5 and LOVES Pokemon. We watch the series together and he always wants to play Pokemon Go but is definitely not a game for toddlers. I was so excited when I saw this. It's so easy to play and definitely a fun indulgence for him.

Good but. Needs subtitles. I usually have to play on my ipad with sound off to be courteous to others and don't want to wear or don't have headphones nearby. I can also see how subtitles would be good for kids too when their parents don't want to hear the game.

Lots of fun!. My daughter loves this game! Only downside is would love if you could add more than only 6 Pokémon to the playground at a time when there are so many spots to put them. Or at the very least, an easy ‘clear all’ button for them so you don’t have to find and remove them all individually.

You need to read this. The game is fun and all but they do not get updates so far and I got all of the Pokémon and not yet did they bother to do a update.

Why isn't there Shinx?. Shinx is personally one of my favorite Pokémon and it's a shame it isn't in Playhouse. Some people don't favor the 50+ Pokémon in-game, so why not add more?
